It was truly a novel concept to me. I could not remember the last time I could meditate peacefully before I was saved. Or was I saved? 

Some times that question comes to mind as I walk the ship, interact with the crew. Of course none of them like me. I terrorized them for months as the Eternal Empress. An almost empty title were I had no true power over anyone. 

Well I did have power, but it was fickle, I was never taught properly how to bend people to my will and that was my downfall. They only ever wanted me to be the pawn, the one used by others. 

The Outlander once told me that if 'that' man hadn't taken me and twisted my teachings, I could have become the most powerful person in the galaxy. 

For now I was stuck behind him.

He also told me that I might have become a Jedi, I scoffed at the words but he explained. My natural connection to the force, my child like wonder when I was younger, if it was nurtured more by my mother, another person who wanted to control me, I might just have turned to the light.
 
It sometimes makes me glad then that 'he' took me in and showed me the truth of the universe, that it was power and power alone that mattered, that it would let you accomplish whatever you desired. But then, what did I desire? 

I thought I had that power, even surpassing 'him', but then the Outlander appeared. 

Appeared and showed me the new definition of power. It rolled off him, even when he was in carbonite I could feel it come off his immobile form. Maybe it was for that reason that we didn't kill him when he was so weak. Maybe that was why I could feel his presence sometimes in the 5 years that passed. 

Whatever the case, it only got stronger after he awakened, I of course found out later he was doing something I always wanted to do, taking down that bastard who made me and made my power his own. 

I sometimes wonder what would have happened if he hadn't stopped me, hadn't talked me down near the end. Would I have beaten him? I could not imagine the scenario happening now, even if I did the power I held would be hollow. Would I have been taken by the force, just another force user in the grand scheme of time?

Could I have defeated him at what would have been his pinnacle? No, what am I thinking he has already surpassed where he was back then. It's hard to tell when he keeps it bottled up, but it's there, always growing stronger and stronger. 

He just needed the right stimulus to let it flow out. 

But then…I'm glad I stopped when I did, I'm glad he was willing to let me flourish. I had become more powerful than I could have ever been after letting the title of Eternal Empress go. It was a chain that bound me and my power to a lower level, only when it was broken could I ascend higher.

The Outlander understood this…understood me and what I could become, I would grow stronger no matter what I had to do to sho…..the force just shifted, I felt it tug at my body, pulling it in a certain direction, I furrowed my brows as my sight of the galaxy shut off, I was in total darkness.

The tugging intensified to an impossible degree as if my body was being ripped in two. But I smothered the pain, used it to make my domination of the force stronger. I grit my teeth slightly as this continued and continued.   What is going…

The tugging stopped, the pain disappeared as if it were a lie...and I also felt the sun on my skin? I opened my eyes slowly. I was no longer on the ship….no I was, but I also wasn't. I steadily got to my feet as I scanned my surroundings slowly; I now stood in a forest, on a planet I had never been on before. Some type of birds chirped in the surroundings and insects buzzed in the air. 

If I wasn't stronger in the force I wouldn't know I wasn't actually here. Even the heat of the area, the humidity started to affect my body. But how could it affect my body if I wasn't actually here? This wasn't a vision, or a projection in the force, it was like I was physically here, but not.

Something niggled at the back of my mind as I sent feelers into the force, a new connection had been formed within me, I had never had many connections through the force, my mother and father severed theirs early on, the closest person I had a connection to since my brothers would be the Outlander. 

Something we had developed over our long game of cat and mouse, the rivalry and power plays had created it, but it had only gotten stronger as he tried to help me become what I was denied. 

But no, this connection was different. I shifted my feet in the dirt below me, watching as it moved from my presence. There was something else about this planet…ahhh… I'm surprised I didn't notice sooner. 

I was at a nexus in the force, one like many planets that littered the galaxy. But this one, this one was steeped in the light side. Sure it could be corrupted, maybe even changed to the dark side given enough influence, but this planet felt untouched, pristine. 

The life was vibrant, the peace abundant. *Rustle* The shifting of clothes behind me alerted me to a presence behind. Why hadn't I felt them earlier? I had exceptional sensing capabilities; it was not possible for me to have missed someone, not this close.  I turned to gauge the new presence.

A lone person sat in a clearing meters behind me. It was clear that they too were meditating or had been. They wore light colored robes that draped their body, baggy in nature it hung off them in a natural manner, something clearly worn often. Though the color was lighter than the usual Jedi brown, it was clear that, that is what they were…a Jedi. 

The Force surged around them, comforted them, they seemed to have gone through the pain I just felt. It comforted them in their need for tranquillity… weak.  I could hear it sing in their ear, their strong connection to it was…surprisingly powerful, reaching even my own level of power. Still not as strong as the Outlander, but it was the most powerful presence I had felt since coming to this time. My eyes narrowed as I looked at them, were they a threat to be dealt with? A test to gauge my new found power?

Their back was turned to me so I couldn't see their face, but their hood was down as they basked in the force around them. Shiny blond hair cascaded down their back as small animal and critters congregated around their person.

Their bond to the force drew them near, the warm feeling she produced would strengthen their fight as they tried to survive the unruly wilderness that followed the rest of the galaxy unrepentant laws. Survival of the fittest.  

Was this Jedi the reason I was here?

Ever so slowly I reached out in the force to ascertain my assumption, the new connection I now held. I looked at the Jedi and I could feel it…it was faint, just made, but impossible to break and with every second it was getting stronger. What was this?

"Huh?" The Jedi's bell like voice, now identified as female, sounded out at my probing, they could feel it. Their hands disconnected from each other as their breath sped back up to a normal pace. She could feel my eyes on her as she placed her hands to the ground and lifted herself up. 

Slowly turning in my direction the force seemed to scream in my ear. 'It was not yet time' All I could catch a glimpse of, as the surroundings faded to black and I was once again in my quarters on the ship, were the Jedi's piercing grey eyes as they widened in surprise.

Her eyes and mine locked for a second, grey meeting my own blue and red, before being broken as she disappeared into mist in front of me.   

I looked around at the metal walls that now surrounded me and knew that what had just happened wasn't a force vision, small specks of the dirt from the forest lay beneath my feet lingering in the room that was spotless. As I looked down at them I was no longer in my always perfect meditative position further confirming what just happened.  

But my mind was whirling with questions. What had just happened? Who was the Jedi? What was this new connection I felt growing inside me? 

I felt inclined to delve more into the connection that I now felt constantly, but the force seemed to wain me off the idea, even if I tried I would not find the results I was looking for. No, it was telling me, it was not yet time for me to confront this Jedi near my own power, but it would happen soon.

I felt a smile tug at my lips slightly sadistic in nature; I couldn't wait to see what this new test would bring. Would I find a new path to the strength I craved? Only time would tell.  
 
There was only one I could think of that might have the answers I sought in that moment. Walking to the door, I opened it quietly and made my way towards the Outlander.

Hey guys, so as you can see this isn't the full chapter. This is just the start. I'm mainly releasing this because it has been a while since an update. I have been very bust recently and haven't really gotten to writing the chapter. I aim for around 10k – 14k words in the chapter, with 6 'scenes' that will make up the full thing. This is the first 'scene'. 

Now some good news, I have already done the last 'scene', meaning I only have to do 4 more before the chapter will be done. Now I don't know when it will get done, but yeah, look forward to it.

When I fully release the chapter, all 6 'scenes', I might come back and tweak this chapter a little. Not too sure if I should change it to give Vaylin a more predominant view point. Aka thoughts, feelings and word usage changed to highlight her character more. Though I think I have given her a pretty in-depth outlook for now, either way I will leave a note if you guys should re-read this specific part.  Love to know what you guys think in the comments.
 
I won't be spoiling who the Jedi is this chapter  and what just happened as it will come back up in later chapters, but you guys are free to guess, I mean I gave a lot of hints into what just happened and with who exactly. But you'll have to figure that out yourself.

Now about people asking me when the next chapter will be up. While I appreciate you guys asking and it really bring my attention back to the novel, please for the love of god check recent/newest comments on the chapter before asking. 

I had already replied to 3 different people asking me the same question before the fourth person asked. If my response doesn't answer your specific question then please comment. Honestly it just gets annoying when I see the same question asked over and over after answering it already, not to mention multiple times. 

Anyway I got to go back to life and do some stuff, probably write for my other novel and then maybe a bit more for Star Wars.

As a new year approaches and the end of another, so does the wrapping up of Witch Are You?. Updates will continue daily through December but look to January as a closing up of sorts for this novel. Do not worry, though; an exciting new adventure awaits in my next novel Kissing Shadows, the synopsis of which can be found at the end of this auxiliary chapter!
I never thought in a million years when I set out to write Witch Are You that I would actually garner readers who would fall in love with the story and characters as much (if not more!) than I have. Witch Are You is a love story written to every great book that has influenced me as an author. Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Twilight, Outlander, The Witcher, Six of Crows, and many more all served as points of inspiration at one time or another. I wanted to write a story that I, myself, would love to read. The fact that you and many others love reading it too, simply put, is humbling and amazing.
So for some fun stuff! I always wonder how my readers pronounce names in their minds as they are reading. For years when reading Harry Potter, I pronounced Hermione's name wrong until it was clarified later! So here are a few of our major characters and how I planned for their names to sound as well as how I picture them/their inspiration:
Lucian- (Lew-shun) His mannerisms and speech were loosely based on Loki from the Marvel universe when I set out to write him but have evolved over time to be a mixture of that and Damon Salvatore from The Vampire Diaries. Of course, he is entirely his own character now!
Ender- (End-Er) Think Jamie from Outlander
Nim-(Nym) Her character is not based on anyone from pop-culture. She is purely herself!
Aniyoh- (Ah-nigh-oh)
Marcaius-(Mahr-Kay-Us) His character's looks are based on every handsome prince-charming ever, with a malicious twist.

Chapter 4

Stranger Amidst the Friends

Just a few moments ago, Olivia O'vorell was having a peaceful afternoon, sipping Khaza-s' tea and enjoying the mild, midday winds as they crusaded against her freshly washed hair basking in the pleasant sun. The view from her personal balcony afforded her a magnificent backdrop to anything she wished to do, a full, peripheral view of the southern side of the city, all the way down toward the distant gates.

To her, it was a day just like any other – she had nary an obligation to fulfill despite being a Princess, and save for the obligatory morning meal shared in by all of the family members, the rest of her days were passed any way she wanted them – and today, she wanted to spend it reading a good, historic novel while sunbathing. Those plans, however, were cut short by the abrupt arrival of her personal Dacent, a teacher that had followed from the crib, Vorvil.

He was a stumpy-looking man well in his sixties, decorated in a body full of white hairs rarely maintained, and a pair of yellowing, droopy eyes. He was perpetually garbed in tired-looking, gray robes, and woolen scarves during the long winters, and despite his rather unruly appearance, Olivia nary trusted another soul as much as she trusted him.

She was woken from her peaceful daydreaming by the sudden blast of the doors to her chambers being opened, and the following gasps as Vorvil came streaming to her side, huffing and puffing while trying to catch his breath. He appeared even worse for wear than usual, yet a faint flicker of excitement hung in his aging eyes.

Olivia maintained silence as she knew the man well – he wouldn't storm in so unabashedly without a reason, so she merely waited for him to catch his breath so he could speak. Which, for a man well in his sixties who hardly took care of his body, took a while. Ten minutes, a while.

"—Y-your Highness…" Vorvil spoke in his usual, coarse voice, though a pitch higher this time around, clearly excited.

"Speak, Vorvil." Olivia replied casually, though a small amount of the man's energy transferred over to, turning into expectation. "What has got you up and about?"

"—an Outlander, Your Highness!" Vorvil's words shook Olivia deeply as she shot up to her feet. Her golden hair continued dripping droplets, her shimmering, amber-colored eyes widening into saucers – Outlander! There were very few times that word was uttered in the Kingdom, and yet each time it was, it would bring about unprecedented winds of change.

"Where?!" she asked quickly, patience quickly leaving her.

"The moment I had realized it," Vorvil, seemingly not wanting to waste time either, quickly led her out of her chambers and down the winding, stone-cast corridor lit up by the glowing embers in the walls. "I had the Silent-boys carry him to my chambers."

"Explain everything." She said.

"About two hours ago," Vorvil continued. "A disturbance happened outside the gates, on the plains – a man came running out of the woods, screaming in pain, bloodied from head to toe."

"…"

"Guards quickly took him in and carried him over to the Herbal Bay," the two took a sharp turn left as the corridor branched off into four directions, entering a set of spiraling stairs leading three floors deep. "I just happened to be there to pick up a few herbs for our session tomorrow when they carried him in. The man was clearly in a delusional state; his eyes were open, and he was muttering something – but, I quickly realized it was not any of the languages I knew."

"—wait. Is he dying?" Olivia asked quickly, somewhat fearful to find out the answer.

"No," Vorvil quickly shook his head as they reached the end of the stairs, which gave way to another corridor, though this one much darker and damper than the one above. "It is strange; his fresh wounds appear shallow, though decently dangerous to the point where I had to let Physician Roggul accompany us, but not life-threatening. However, his body is riddled in deep scars – some bone-deep according to the Physician. I'm not sure what to make of his state, to be honest, Your Highness."

"Anything else?" Olivia asked, her excitement growing the closer they got to the Dacent's chambers.

"We found nothing of note on his body," Vorvil explained. "His garb doesn't have any distinguishing features, though the underlying materials used seemed to be of high quality. In addition, the Physician was unable to identify how he got his current wounds or the majority of the scars on his body."

"What do you mean?" Olivia asked, frowning.

"The cuts appear too clean and precise, but too small to have been done in with a blade; some scars are also entirely radial, as though punctured by a needle as thick as a finger. So far, the most approximate answer that Master Roggul gave me is that it was done by some unknown branch of Light, but all the usual signs of it are missing – there is no residual Light remaining, the scars seemed entirely healed and lack the black pus around the edges, and there is no further radial scarring along the blood vessels around the wounds."

"…" Olivia remained silent as the two came to a stop in front of the ordinary-looking wooden doors. She tried her best to calm her ever-quickly beating heart, taking deep breaths in succession. After all, if the man truly was an Outlander, it might change her life completely.

Outlanders, the true ones at least, appeared three times only in the Kingdom's short history of six hundred years – the first time one appeared, he helped her Grand Ancestor, First King Allay, to unify the neighboring tribes into actual, military power and rebel against the local tyrant Kingdoms, establishing Lumina Kingdom and giving them the Light.

The second Outlander appeared just a hundred years after that, gifting late King Allay's son an Artefact -- the Wheel of Light – the power that reshaped the entire history of the Kingdom.

And the third time an Outlander appeared was well over a hundred and fifty years ago; unfortunately, the woman was on her dying breath, and they were unable to help her recover in the end.

And, now, if true, it might be the fourth time an Outlander appeared – and from the sound of it, unlike the last time, he wasn't dying. If so, and if Olivia managed to keep it a secret from the world, she might finally have the tools that she was never given before. But, first, she had to confirm it, one way or another.

Vorvil carefully opened the doors to his chambers, knowing full well what lied in his Princess' heart. He, too, wished the man to be an Outlander – and for him to assist the young lady standing next to him in accomplishing her so-far buried dreams.

His four walls were much simpler than the Princess'; on one end was an ordinary, wood-framed bed, tucked into a corner in front of a ceiling-high bookshelf. The other end of the room was comprised of three tables where he accomplished his studies, each placed next to one another, with a single squat tucked behind the curtain of sheep's wool.

Olivia's eyes quickly traced over to the corner where the bed was. The first one she saw was the Physician, Roggul, a man even more ancient than her Dacent, and one of the oldest members of the Court – nearly a hundred years old, actually. Despite that, he somehow managed to look younger than Vorvil, having maintained a proper image of a Physician – well-kept beard and hair, white-cast robes of thin cloth, and a countenance of someone with wisdom unmatched. The signs of age, namely wrinkles across his face and the somewhat bent back, only served to further emphasize the sagacious nature of his.

"Your Highness." Roggul quickly got onto his feet and bowed courteously as Olivia entered. Though she was not as close to him as she was with Vorvil, she had a great deal of respect for the man and occasionally went to him to ask questions about their bodies. She still clearly remembers the man's uncomfortable expression when she ran to him after spotting blood on her sheets during her Kijana Age, the period during which all women become fertile.

"Mater Roggul." Olivia bowed slightly as well as a sign of respect, quickly shifting over her gaze to the lying man. Her heart's expectations arose quickly, as the man didn't appear to be that old – she estimated somewhere in his forties. He had starkly black hair and thick beard, his face eerily void of wrinkles, though hardly smooth at a glance. His skin was slightly tanned, though by the appearance he hardly seemed all that different from the Luminaes. "What is his status?" she asked when she saw that the man's eyes were closed.

"I've given him a mixture of Oryl Flower and gutter's milk," Roggul explained in a calm tone, sitting down on the stool beside the bed. "So to calm him down. I have also cleaned his wounds and dressed them up; outside of whatever psychological factors seemed to have affected him, his body is… extraordinarily healthy."

"… what do you mean?" Olivia quickly asked, noticing the Physician's strange tone.

"Well, you see, Your Highness," the Physician said, pulling the blanket off the man's chest, revealing robust muscles that caused Olivia's cheeks to surge in a faint tinge of red, though neither of the two old men seemed to have noticed it. "Not only is his muscle mass extraordinary, but his body also seems almost constructed specifically to be like this. In addition, anyone with the number of scars that this man has – I've counted seventy-four thus far – many of which are rather deep and should have left him disabled, should have long since made him bedridden, if not dead. Yet, no matter how much I probe, I can't seem to find any lasting damage – his heart seems to be entirely healthy, actually much healthier than his age would suggest – which I estimate at forty-four – his bones, despite having been broken numerous times, are extremely sturdy and flexible, and I've yet to find any part of him that was impacted by Light."

"… meaning?" Olivia asked, her frown deepening.

"Meaning that either he has been blessed by the Goddess of Luck herself and has never suffered from an injury caused by Light…" Roggul said, turning his eyes toward Olivia as they narrowed. "Or… whichever parts of the world he's come from… don't have Light, to begin with."

Noah was currently lying still in bed, pretending to be sleeping. In the past two hours, many things that he couldn't quite explain transpired; the initial stage of his plan went well – too well, actually. The guards immediately took him into the city and carried him to what he quickly identified as a hospital of sorts. The old man currently sitting next to him, which he is fairly certain is called Rogul as he kept hearing the word, dressed and cleaned his wounds nearly as well as he would have done it himself, meaning that the chances of infection are quite low now.

What surprised him, however, was that he was quickly shuffled out of the makeshift hospital and into this drab and gray room – and it happened when the other old man in the room heard him speak. He became almost fanatical and rushed off to somewhere. Noah suspected it was to report his existence to the newcomer in the room – a woman. Judging by her voice, he estimated she was quite young, somewhere in her twenties, though he hardly dared open his eyes to confirm.

She appeared to be of rather high status, as the notable shifts in tone by the old men, and the way they spoke to her, suggested she was much higher than them in terms of hierarchy. This, however, was not good news for him – rather, this was explicitly what he wanted to avoid. Having someone with a great deal of power interested in him meant he wouldn't have any freedom of movement, and would most likely spend his days being studied. As to why… he could not say.

One positive, however, was that he didn't spot any hostile countenances in their behavior; they didn't seem to harbor a desire to kill him, so it meant they didn't figure out he was the murderer of the forest. Their interest in him, however, was somewhat strange; while, yes, a bloodied man screaming and running out of the woods is quite a sight, their level of interest didn't match the scenario. There was something far great associated with him, something he had no means of deciphering.

The language they spoke was not all that strange – rather, it was even somewhat familiar. Naturally, not in the 'I understand what they're saying' way, but in terms of structure. From what he observed, they seemed to share the same physiology to humans on Earth because they produced the very same sounds – consonants and vowels. The word order also seemed to be exactly like English – SVO, that is subject followed by a verb and an object, though he wasn't one hundred percent certain on it.

For now, however, all he could do was silently observe; if the language was simply a variation with same, underlying principles as those on Earth, he was confident in being able to learn the absolute basics from simply listening. But, he would already have to start planning on his next course of action as his previous plans were no longer possible. He'd have to account for the limited movement as a variable, as well as the potential of him being experimented on.

Another lucky part, however, was that the magic he saw those kids do didn't seem to either be all that advanced, or all that spread for the simple reason that they were yet to figure out he was faking sleep. Perhaps, he thought, silently. It's still doable, after all…

Noah finds himself stranded in a completely unfamiliar world after something went wrong with the 'Gates' mission back on Earth. The next morning came, and despite the sun was about to reach its peak, Brenna was still fast asleep on her bed. She had never been a morning person type, added by the fact she just pulled an all-nighter the night before, made her unable to wake up early.
But the peacefulness of her sleep was shattered when one of her servant automatons, designed to have a humanoid body and square-shaped head, suddenly slammed her bedroom door open.
"My queen! It's escaping!" the automaton said in a panic, waving both its arms around.
"W-What... ?" Brenna asked while rubbing her eyes. She was pretty sure she didn't tell the automatons to wake her up.
"The Outlander! It escaped from the lab and is currently being cornered near the castle gate!"
It took a minute for Brenna to process what the automaton just said. When she finally did, she immediately sat up with her eyes wide open.
"What?! Lead me to them!" said Brenna as she jumped off her bed.
"Yes, Ma'am!" the automatons rushed out of the room while she followed closely. Luckily for Brenna, she didn't have to change her clothes as she slept while still using her usual outfit. 
The two rushed down the castle hallways while avoiding the other servant automatons. It didn't take long before the two arrived at the castle gate.
"I-Impossible!" Brenna said in disbelief. It was just like what the servant automaton said. The Outlander was standing on its legs, just by the gate. What she saw before she could only mean one out of two things. The armor was haunted and it was a ghost moving around the armor, or whatever inside of the armor was not a human, and miraculously survived the fall.
Her automatons had surrounded the Outlander on both the ground and castle wall, ensuring there was no way for it to escape. Stupidly, one of them tried to charge the Outlander. Brenna didn't stop it as she was curious about how the Outlander going to fight back. 
She didn't expect to see the head of the automaton blasted off by a weapon the Outlander was holding with its right hand. The automatons closest to her immediately form a wall in front of her in case the Outlander tried attacking her.
"W-What was that?" Brenna asked herself as she and her wall of automatons walked closer toward the Outlander. The appearance of the laser shot looked pretty similar to a magic spell, but she had never seen it being launched from a weapon. Most wizards just cast it out of thin air right in front of them.
When the Outlander noticed her, it started speaking at her with a low rough voice. From the voice alone, it was clear the Outlander wasn't a ghost or something similar. Unfortunately, she couldn't understand anything he said. She knew the human language, even all of the other languages for that matter, and she was confident that everything he said was not from any of the languages she knew.
There was only one way for her to find out what they meant.
"Lower your weapons!" Brenna ordered her army as she made her way through the wall of automaton in front of her. The automatons followed her order and lowered their weapon.
Suddenly, four metallic tentacles emerged from Brenna's back. The tentacles extended themselves toward the Outlander. He tried to blast them away with his weapon, but Brenna dodged it just in time so the blast landed on the castle wall instead.
He tried resisting when the tentacles entangled him, but he failed to overpower them. With the Outlander secure, Brenna used magic to read his mind. Her consciousness tried making contact with whatever was inside the armor, but it stopped her from reading his mind and even read her mind in return. She could feel it copying information from her head.
The process to those around them was brief, but to both of them, it felt like an eternity. Both the Outlander and Brenna fell to their knees, both were panting heavily and Brenna was even coughing badly. She released the Outlander from the grip of her tentacles and let them laid lifelessly next to her.
At the sight of their creator in pain, the automatons were once again in an alert. They pointed their weapons once more toward the Outlander while the servant automaton tended to its creator.
It was the Outlander who stood back up first.
"Can... You understand me now?" said the Outlander, still using the same voice as before.
"Y-You… You are suddenly speaking in our language!" Brenna said in a surprise as she stood back up with the help of the servant.
"I am. Now, if you can tell these… automatons to lower their weapon, it would be a good start," the Outlander said as he observed his surrounding.
All of her automatons turned their head toward her.
Brenna had to make a decision. She knew nothing of the being standing before her. For all she knew, the Outlander could be a killing machine or a monster. But then again, he tried to communicate with her. Maybe he wasn't so bad? Not to mention, she was confident that even if the Outlander turned out to be bad, her automaton army could stand against him.
In the end, she nodded, and all of her automatons immediately stopped pointing their weapons toward the Outlander.
"Thank you. Now-" before the Outlander could finish his sentences off, Brenna cut him off.
"I'm going to stop you there," Brenna said, "I will be the one asking the questions here. This is my castle, and thus it is my right to question you first," she wouldn't let the Outlander control the flow of the conversation.
"A fair point," the Outlander said as he nodded.
"I want you to explain yourself. Who are you? And how did you survive that fall?"
"The name is… " the Outlander suddenly stopped in his track.
"Your name is...?" Brenna repeated after him.
"Unfortunately… it is quite hard to translate my name into your language. You can just call me Zero until I find a more fitting word, though I doubt it considering the number of words you already know."
"Zero, I see..."
"And the reason I survived the fall was because of my armor. It made sure that none of the heat and pressure on my down make it to me. And while it failed to soften my fall," the Outlander pointed at his left arm that she just realized he never moved, "I didn't go unscathed."
"So it's your armor. Whatever material it was made out of, it saved you during the fall. But it doesn't explain how and why are you falling from such height in the first place."
No flying beast could reach the height he fell from, whether it was a griffin or a dragon.
"That's because of a malfunction with the... machine inside of my helmet. Instead of placing the dimension portal exit close to the ground level, it placed the portal high off the ground. Wait, how do you learn about the Dimension Portal."
"It doesn't matter, I'm the one asking the questions here. Machine inside of your helmet? And Dimension Portals? I'm starting to think that everything you told me is a lie. Everything that you told me doesn't make sense."
For all her life, Brenna had dabbled with various forms of technology, from the ones that found in ancient ruins to the one she made herself. The smallest machine she ever found was the size of a goblin, at least for the time being.
And regarding the dimension portal, it was straight-up impossible. Across the continent, there were giant metallic gates with some writing on its surfaces. A legacy left behind by an unknown civilization that came before. With some luck, Brenna and Pier managed to power up one of the gates. The Wizard tried translating the writings on the gate but was unable to translate beyond the word 'Dimension Gate'. They tried throwing in random things to test it, but all of them were set ablaze when made contact with the gate and disappeared, never to be seen again.
There was no way a mere body armor could enter a portal safely, let alone creating a portal out of thin air. She refused to believe it. The armor may have proved itself able to protect its user from falling, but she hadn't seen it going through a portal.
"Everything that I just said is nothing but the truth. Now will you let me talk?" said the Outlander.
But Brenna shook her head, "There is still one more question. Why should I trust you and everything you just said?"
The Outlander let out a sigh of frustration but he chose to follow along.
"Because I'm your best hope in fighting against what's going to come."
"Against what to come? What do you mean?"
The Outlander sat down, "This is going to be a long, long story."

The Emperors stood above all others on the continent of Intertia. They were free to do whatever they desired as long as they didn't disturb another Emperor.

But one of them, Emperor Brenna, was different. She desired something more than selfish personal desire. She wanted the whole continent to be united under one banner, under a Conqueror, and her greatest desire was to serve under him.

Little did she know, her wish was about to be answered by the star falling from the sky.

Richard remembered the system talking about this points and if he remembered correctly they could be exchanged from items and equipments after they cleared the floor. 

Looking infront of him he saw the corpse of the outlander he had just slained. he could hear the sound of fighting in the distance, Richard knew it was definetly Dave and Orlando clashing with the outlander's , shen and emily were way to "frail" to deal with the Outlanders 

"AAAAAHHHH!!"

The scream interupted richard's train of taught, he looked over and saw dave kneeling on his knee 
 blood covering his hands and shirt, even with all those injuries hewas still using his shield to defend himself  from the attacks of the outlander madly hacking away at him . 

Richard sprinted towards the outlander, his eyes were cold and sharp, Richard focused all of his strenght on his legs making him sound like an explosion every step he took created a thump on the ground , he jumped toward's the outlander mid-run and landed a heavy dropkick on the creature propelling it 20 feet away. 

" Thank you i would not have been able to last , if it wasn't for your help" Dave looked towards Richard thankfully and strugled to get up  

" No problem. here i'll give you a hand" Richard extended his hand towards dave and helped him get up. 

"AWWWOOOOOO" 

The outlander looked at Richard and Dave madly, Richard could feel something evil emanating from it, The first time he felt it was when he was fighting the Goblin in the assesment and now he was feeling it from this creature. 

The creature Dashed Towards him , he was currently infront of Dave who was too weak to continue the fight, Richard took Dave's shield from him and held it infront of himself 

Bang! 

The Outlander hit the shield causing it to shatter.

Richard felt like he was not destined to use a weapon , everytime he used one it always shattered or something will happen to it. 

"whoosh" 

Richard sent a punch toward's the outlander, the outlander dodged and hit Richard in the gut and Propelled him away. 

"AAAAAHHHOOO" 

The outlander was dashing towards the fallen Richard 

Richard emidiately got up and he could still feel the pain in his gut from the Outlander's punch, he ran away as fast as he could from the outlander. 

The outlander was faster than Richard and he was quickly catchinng up to him, Richard stopped and stood  infront of a huge tree, he Focused all of his strenght in hid legs one more and waited for the outlander to reach him. 

Richard looked at the outlander coming towards him, when the creature was about 9 feet away richard backfliped on the huge tree infront of him positioning him right behind the outlander. 

Before the creature even had a chance to realise what just happened, Richard punched it in the back of the head which propelled it towards the large tree, it landed head first on the large tree shatering its head in the process and leaving behind a headless body 

Ding!

Richard was tired but he had to kill all the outlander's , he looked towards Orlando to try and Help him but he was shocked he saw all the other Three monsters bodies scattered around Orlando who was panting and hoding his shoulder as bright Red blood was dripping from it. 

He knew Orlando was Strong but he had no idea, he would be able to take care of 3 outlander's by himself.

Richard was happy the fight was over They were safe for now, he fell on the ground and realesed a huge sigh of happiness. 

He felt an evil Aura like the one he felt from the goblin and the dog like creature, and in a panic he looked fot the source of the vibe and it was coming from Shen

However, everyone was once again shocked as that person's Death Race aura disappeared and a pure Outlander Race aura exploded out like a flood.
Only then did countless people realize that they were wrong. That person was not from the Death Race, and he had an incredibly pure Outlander Race bloodline.
Countless people stared with wide-eyes; they had never thought that things would turn out like this. They had been mocking him before, the future King of Kings, and now they could not make a single sound.
As Zhao Fu pulled out the King of Kings Sword with both hands, he felt a massive power flow into his body. The slight barrier blocking him from awakening the Emperor Star was destroyed at that moment.

Sensing this aura, the people in the secret realm and those on the viewing platforms all looked up in shock as waves crashed in their hearts.
Countless traces of green starlight spread out. The entire Outlander Race's Fate was gathering, and the green light covered the entire Outlander Domain as the sky became green.

"We cannot allow such a terrifying figure to remain or else the other seven races will be doomed. We cannot allow what happened back then to happen again."
The Devil Race elder gave off a terrifying aura and turned into a ray of light as he shot over the horizon towards the Outlander Domain.
Within the God Domain, in a white and pristine god palace, a young man giving off intense holy light had a cold expression as he sat on a throne. There were countless divine guards dressed in white armor below, and the atmosphere was quite oppressive.
"Who would have thought that the King of Kings' prophecy would be fulfilled and that someone would inherit his will so many years on. However, with what we've experienced in the past, we absolutely cannot allow the second King of Kings to remain.
"Back during the first King of Kings' era, it was a terrible age and our God Race was greatly humiliated. Our glorious God Race cannot continue to be sullied. Send out orders and have all of our God Domain's powerful experts gather and head to the Outlander Domain.
"We cannot allow the Outlander Race to keep that second King of Kings at any cost; we have to get rid of that person or else our God Race will be doomed in the future."
"Yes, sir!" countless divine guards replied and quickly left. Following this, terrifying auras turned into rays of light and shot over the horizon.

 El Gran Padre de la tribu Cuervo Explorador no pudo soportarlo más y estaba a punto de decir algo. Sin embargo, luego notó la intensa admiración en los ojos del Sacerdote Tierra. El Gran Padre suspiró y se mordió la lengua.

 En cuanto al Gran Anciano, se quedó allí con los ojos muy abiertos, mirando conmocionado al Sacerdote Tierra. El Sacerdote Cielo también tenía una expresión muy extraña en su rostro. Los dos intercambiaron una sonrisa irónica.

Ver a la misteriosa Bestia Outlander huir en vez de pelear era completamente impactante. Aún más sorprendente era el loro, que aparentemente ni siquiera temía a la muerte. Su método de ataque era, por supuesto, inimaginablemente extraño.

 Por fin, la maldad del loro estaba teniendo un efecto sobre Meng Hao. No pasó mucho tiempo antes de que toda la Tribu Cuervo Explorador supiera sobre los eventos relacionados con el malvado neo demonio del Gran Maestro Meng. La noticia rápidamente comenzó a extenderse a las otras cuatro Tribus.
