One boy struggling to walk the red road won't listen to anybody not even his little brother who walks the red road. He is angry all the time, stealing, and wanting to hurt people, not trusting anybody that's not Indian, Grandfather pulls him on the POW WOW trail.

The silence of the cold night is only disturbed by the footsteps of a single man. He's on a quest to kill the four people who ruined his life, but the road to vengeance is an unstabel one. Will he fall even further into despair or does a new life await him at the end of the road?

Having succeeded in creating the spell [Wall Construction], I decided to start building a road next. (TLN: Wall door questions? Read on....)
　Right now, the wall is surrounding a square-shaped piece of land with a length of 4km.
　There is a forest on the northern side and a village on the southern side.
　For the time being, I will make a road toward the doorway that is the junction between the base and the village in the wall and the doorway that connects to the designated protected forest area in the forest on the northern side.
　After having reincarnated in this world, I feel gratitude to roads.....
　Because I can't find a decent road here.
　Basically, there is a road around here that people often pass by, but that was made naturally.
　It was rough on the way from the village to the city.
　It was difficult to walk and ride in a cart on a road with just the obstacles that could cause traffic closures removed and the minimum maintenance that were needed.
　I want to make something that was a little better that that, at least.
　Actually, I thought I had already prepared something like a passage to the entrance on the wall that I am planning to create.
　I used [Soil Improvement] for the part to be used as a field, but I kept a road-like path by using [Leveling].
　But there were those who ruined that.
　They not beasts like the wild boars, but humans.
　The people who undertake work in my land, including my brother, had neglected to maintain it.
　[Leveling] makes it so that the land is clean and flat, so it is very easy to walk on it.

　I tried making some roads with magic.
　At first, I thought about solidifying the road with concrete.
　However, there was something I was worried about.
　Sure, concrete and asphalt roads look pretty, but I think the people who ordered them actually had to pay for maintenance.
　It may not make sense to consider the construction and maintenance costs because the road I am making is made by magic anyway, but is it too greedy for me to want to make a long-lasting road which may be a big deal in the future?
　With that in mind, I rushed into the task of digging up memories and information that I had heard in my previous life.
　I'm not sure about everything, because I've never been involved in road building.
　However, I remember hearing that roads that were more than 1000 years old still remain today.
　One such type of roads are the cobblestone roads created by the ancient Roman Empire.
　I've heard that the ancient nations that have existed since B.C. certainly have roads they have created with their outstanding technology survive to this day.
　Regardless of how hard it was to maintain, I should have seen on TV that it certainly made a lot of sense.
　The basic method should have been like this.
　First, dig deep into the ground according to how much you want to be the the width of the road.
　Then, stones are buried in the hole, and clay and gravel are laid on that.
　After that, the cobblestone stones are neatly placed on top of the clay and gravel.
　At this time, the point to note is that when the cross section of the road is viewed from the side, the central part of the road rises slightly and becomes lower toward the end.
　This is a device that allows water to flow to the edge of the road when it rains and make sure it will not flood.
　But there are additional benefits.
　It is said that the slight inclination makes it difficult for the cobblestone stones to shift due to the weight of each other pressing on every single cobblestone.
　By doing this, it is possible to lay a road that is strong against water and heavy objects.
　However, I think that there were some drawbacks.
　Basically, it seems that this Roman road was only laid straight.
　How thorough it was was that the road was laid in a straight line to the destination by making a tunnel and penetrating it without bypassing the mountain.
　It's a scary think that you can only do it straight.
　Can you tell how much the destinations 10km and 100km away will be off by just one degree of an angle towards the destination?
　This road cannot be used without out-of-order measurement technology. (TLN: Most likely talking about how if you wanted to connect a road to another place with the Roman Empire's roads, you'd need to be precise, because if you were even 1 degree off, then after a long time, it would be really different. Like a star's light rays. The farther they get, the more spread-out they become. Example. 
"Well, but do I want to try it with this thing?"
　However, I dared to build this Roman road.
　The reason is simply because.... it's my hobby.
　That was the only reason I had a longing for cobblestone roads.
　To be honest, I don't know how much effort it will take to maintain it, but once it's spell is patented, it won't be that much of a pain if I have my Familiars help me.
　With that in mind, I started to work on the image in my head to create a new road.

Mighty ones gathered like clouds above the Border Sea. Countless discussed feverishly the opening of the Holy Road this time.
Mount Duantian lay right beyond the Border Sea, which was shaped like protruding blades stabbing into the skies. Qin Yin gazed at the peaks of the mountains and took a detour around it before asking, "So Sage Duantian lived in the mountain then?"
"So said the rumors." Li Xun nodded. The clouds above the mountain made the place look bleak and difficult to see with the naked eye. It was, however, obvious that the height of the mountain reached into the clouds. Only mighty ones of Noble level were able to vaguely make out the shape of the palace on the peak, but none dared to venture into the place itself.
Sage Duantian was one of the mighty ones listed in the Barren Sky Rankings, and his mastery of the arts was said to be boundless. Few in the vast lands of Barren State dared challenge the sage himself.
"It as said that there were disciples of Sage Duantian venturing down the mountain to go on a pilgrimage on the Holy Road, and the nearest Holy Road nearby is the Dawn Road. So we should be on the same road with them," someone near them said.
Disciples of Sage Duantian could not enter the Holy Zhi Palace to further their studies, but they were welcomed to go on a pilgrimage on the Holy Road all the same. The Holy Zhi Palace had not stated explicitly that only those who wished to study in the Holy Zhi Palace were permitted to embark on the Holy Road.
"Someone is coming down from the mountain." A huge warship appeared in the direction of the peak of Mount Duantian, passing right above the heads of everyone. A group exceptional figures were vaguely seen on the warship itself, like the Jiutian Gods and Goddesses looming over the mortals themselves.
"A warship of the Mortal World," someone shouted as they took note of the mark on the ship. Mortal World, the greatest force within the area. Even when compared with the rest of the Barren State, they were still among the top class.
"This should be the Disciples of Mortal World passing through Mount Duantian and go paying their respects to Sage Duantian then."
"Rumor has it that several figures of extremely notable talents were on their way to the Holy Road, and they too took the path of Dawn Road." Many within the surrounding void began discussing what just took place as the warship passed by right above their heads. A beautiful girl was seen standing on the warship. Her clothes and hair waved gracefully with the wind.
Her name was Chu Shang, a figure at the lower level of the Noble Plane.
Ye Futian, who was right below the ship, would have recognized her if he had seen her onboard. She was that Mortal World disciple who had been to the Eastern Barren Territory and had even invited him to join the Mortal World.
"So even the top notable forces have made their move then," Qin Yin murmured as she lifted her head to gaze upon the ship that had just passed right above her head. Despite being the daughter of the sage of Mount Jiuxian and possessing incredible talent, she knew well that the trip on the Holy Road would have proven difficult even for someone like her. The event gathered all the geniuses from all corners of Barren State. Despite Dawn Road only being one of the nine Holy Roads, the figures who showed up there were terrifyingly impressive nonetheless. As such, she needed to join forces with people of the five cities just for her to stand a chance at it.
"I suppose the Nantian House would choose the Dawn Road as well," Xie Wuji quipped.
"There are many from great clans and powerful schools alike." Qin Yin's eyes looked into the distance. Ye Futian's eyes sparkled hearing her words. He looked at the map before and was able to confirm that both the Mortal World and the Nantian House were in the same direction. Now that they are in the Zhongzhou Lands, would the two top-class forces which had been to the Eastern Barren Territory choose to embark on the same Holy Road?
An old city stood at the edge of the Dawn Road: Ruin City. Legend had it that the city fell many times before, and was rebuilt each time. It was a place anyone on the Dawn Road would have definitely passed by. As such, the city was an incredibly bustling one despite its name, especially when the Holy Road was opened once every three years. The city was packed like sardines during such times. People from various corners of the region would flood into the city and make their way to the Sea of Ruins at the west side of the city.
The Sea of Ruins was a place leading towards the Holy Road. Countless mighty ones gathered at the shores of the Sea of Ruins. One gaze would have been more than enough to note the presence of all proud sons and daughters of the heavens from all over Barren State.
The opening of the Holy Road had always been the grandest of all events to take place in the Barren State. It was a given that such an event would cause quite a stir.
Ye Futian was able to see the sea of people before his eyes as soon as he got there, and he felt rather shocked. The number of people gathered there easily exceeded 100 thousand. Furthermore, given that the Dawn Road had yet to be opened, there were definitely more who were still on their way there.
"Dawn Road lies right beyond the Sea of Ruins. Once we journey through Dawn Road, we will have reached the Holy Zhi Palace." Someone peered at the Sea of Ruins with heated eyes. All nine Holy Roads led right to the Holy Zhi Palace. So long as they were able to make it through, they would arrive on the very sacred grounds of the contemporary Barren State.
Other than them, geniuses from all nine Holy Roads, the best of the best generation of youths Barren State had to offer, would have gathered before the Holy Zhi Palace. The imagination of such a scene would have made the heart of anyone dance.
All hoped that they would have become one of those who stood among these geniuses, appearing on the most brilliant stage to be found in the world.
"There are no rules on the trip to the Holy Road, and the harshest rule of it all lies precisely in the fact that there are no rules."
Some among them sighed. It was known to all that the trip to the Holy Road yielded the highest number of brutal casualties among all the pilgrimages one could have taken. Many aforementioned proud sons and daughters perished on the Holy Roads.
There was to be no acknowledgment of generations on the Holy Roads, and it was an 'anything goes' type of game for everybody. All kinds of demons and monsters would have appeared, and there was simply no telling what one would encounter on their journey next.
Groowwwlll! A dragon howl was heard in the heavens, and the Responding Dragon was seen descending from above. Its impressive bearing overpowered all below.
"Mighty ones from Nantian House are here." Countless pairs of eyes gazed upon the dragon descending from the heavens. Nantian House was the top force to be found within the region of Zhongzhou City, and one with powers shadowing all.
A terrifying force beyond measure indeed.
Many leaped forward to bow and pay their respects. All of whom who did so were younger generations of the Nantian House's forces.
Ye Futian took a look at the Responding Dragon in the void and found it to be the same dragon encountered in the Eastern Barren Territory. He also saw the carriage being pulled behind the dragon, and a silhouette emerged from within. It was a familiar face—Nan Feng. Nan Feng was of Upper Arcana Plane back then. Two years had since passed, and he was a Noble Plane figure now.
Futian was reminded of the words Nan Feng and Nan Yu spoke to him about. He was back in the Eastern Barren Territory back then, and he was utterly incapable of imagining what Nantian House was like. Now that he was in Barren State, he finally got to know what kind of a force the Nantian House was.
In the void faraway, a lineup of mighty ones appeared shining ever so brightly. They flew past right above the heads of the crowd below, paying no heed to anything.
Everyone present knew that only members of the topmost forces dared pull a stunt like that as it was an act that would easily offend many otherwise. Those who were of the likes of Nantian House needed not to fear over offending anyone. They were capable and powerful enough to disregard such notions of respect.
"People of the Xia Clan are here." Many leaped into the air again to go pay their respects. The Xia Clan, the largest clan within the Ruin City. They were a fearsome bunch, and the master of the clan was known to be of an imperceptible plane. Furthermore, an exceptionally talented younger generation appeared among the clan. A man named Xia Hou was of level seven Noble Plane. He could end up becoming the brightest star of all venturing on Dawn Road.
Lingtian Sword Will descended from the skies far away after a while. A row of figures was seen descending onto the crowd riding on their swords, glittering with great brilliance. Many in the crowd cheered for the members of the Sword Saint Villa.
A sword saint appeared in the Sword Saint Villa a few years ago. While the villa had its less than glorious days, an incredibly fearsome old man appeared within their ranks in this generation; a super mighty one who was listed on the Barren Sky Rankings.
Many exceptional figures among the younger generations appeared as well, including Yan Jiu [1]. The reason why he was called this was because he was ranked the ninth among his peers. No one dared look down on such a name, as Yan Jiu was noted to be the heir to the sword saint, and one could take command of the Sword Saint Villa in days to come.
The Mortal World warship appeared within the void shortly after. Top notch, mighty ones appeared one after another. It was to be another three days before Dawn Road was opened. Most arrived more than three days prior.
Countless murmured amongst themselves. There were simply too many mighty ones, including those renowned ones. Many came with an air of confidence and assurance, but it was quickly diminished seeing their competitors.
Ye Futian was there with the people of Mount Jiuxian. They mingled with those in the crowd and hardly anyone took any notice of them.
Despite being descendants of sages themselves, there were simply too many of such background and caliber within the vast Barren State region. Many who just showed up were probably of a more impressive background than they were. Some even quipped that being showered with the presence of so many great ones and having their eyes opened was a reward in itself.
People from the three schools and all clans of Divine Sky City had also arrived and ended up buried unceremoniously in the massive crowd.
Long Mu saw such a scene from the void and felt stunned to the core of his being, feeling like he had been a frog at the bottom of the well for his entire life. But of course, his will grew strong. The days when Long Mu's father's name was known throughout Barren State and made it to the Barren Sky Rankings was simply glorious. He was but a child back then and was unable to witness the moment himself. He yearned to accomplish everything his father had ever done before. He also knew well, however, that his path was a difficult one.
Long Mu came with people from the Starry School. Members of the Dragon clan and the Gu clan were there as well. Gu Yunxi was, of course, present. She heard from her father that Ye Futian was alive, and it was very possible that Headmaster Chen sent him on the journey to the Holy Road. As such, she wanted to see for herself if the peerless young man had indeed lived.
People of the Jin clan were there, as well as those from Blazing Sun School and Bright Moon School. The lineup emanated an impressive air.
A girl of unparalleled beauty stood by the beach among the masses, gazing upon the sea before her eyes. She emanated an air that nobody could touch. She was the proud daughter of the Zhaixing House, Mu Zhiqiu. She would have been allowed entrance into the Holy Zhi Palace solely by recommendation from her brother, yet she chose to embark on her own journey instead. It had been a while since she lost to Ye Futian, and it was only recently that she had broken through the Noble Plane.
There was a Holy Road among the nine located north of the Zhongzhou city area, a Holy Road named the Nether Road. The road was filled with mighty ones as well, even more so than the Dawn Road.
Many, including people of the Zhuge family and Taixuan Mountain, as well as the ones of demon gods, appeared before the road. The road was known to be the three strongest roads among the nine.
A row of figures stood quietly on the hill before the Holy Road. Two of which were ladies of extreme beauty, and one of them was especially beautiful.
Many pairs of eyes turned to look at her. One look at her beautiful face was enough to have them feel as if they had fallen in love. If they were able to marry such a girl, it would have been of the highest honor. Yet, they knew that they would have never had a chance with such a girl. Only top geniuses from the most powerful clans would be capable of such a feat.
She was named Hua Jieyu, who was said to be called a sister from a different mother by Zhuge Mingyue. She was studying in the Zhuge family at the moment. She was a Divine Spiritual Sorcerer out to test herself in the Holy Road!

In a time when the Divine Prefectures of the East Sea were in great disarray, Emperor Ye Qing and Donghuang the Great appeared to save the day. Under their rule, the prefectures united and all nations as well as  their kings have been controlled. However, the legend of these two great heroes becomes altered when Emperor Ye Qing's name is wiped from the history books after his sudden death. All statues and images of him were destroyed and his name a taboo. Only the legend of Donghuang the Great shall live on.                            

Fifteen years later, a young man by the name of Ye Futian begins his journey in search for his true identity. The legend of Futian was going to be one for the history books.

"Can we go up? " Sheng Fenghua looked at the mountain again, but she didn't find the road that Lao Cai said could go up at all. Could it be that Lao Cai asked them to take a road out by themselves?
As if he knew what Sheng Fenghua was thinking, Lao Cai suddenly stepped forward. Sheng Fenghua looked at him suspiciously and followed him.
After about ten steps, Lao Cai stopped, bent down, and pushed aside the grass by the roadside. He pointed at the footprints under the grass and turned to Sheng Fenghua, saying, "Comrade Sheng, do you see this? This is the road. "
Sheng Fenghua glanced at the road Lao Cai pointed at and was speechless. This is called a road It was clearly just a few footprints in the grass.

Lao Cai and Qin Feng had no objection to Sheng Fenghua's decision. They walked to the other side of the mountain together. After walking for a while, the group saw a road.
The road wasn't big. It looked like a small mountain path, but compared to the road they had taken before, this was the real road.

"Report your findings"  The king 

"Yes, your majesty.  From the report we have researched the road it is well made of Mana, bugward wood, and other components that are very much protected against monster and insect attacks the light Mana stones on the side like the road so that way is well lit for travelers and it also seems to be protected with mana wards similar to the barrier that protects our kingdom.   It can not be destroyed." 

The mana road will adjust and add the non magic road to the structure.  The added road will look slightly different from the magical road. But if you add mana shard light stone you get the addede benefit of a road structure similar to the mana roads with nonviolent thief wards and light along the road.  The road itself is can not be destroyed but it can be slightly damaged which can also be repaired by allowing the damage to asborb stone mana shard and / or metal materials.Any violence or thief in done on the road, it will put you off of the road until you get rid of your intentions.  It has been dud the non violent / thief road.  It has prevented numerous bandit attacks, ****, domestic violence, murders, kidnapping, and thief.  Whoever made this rule made it to be safe and crime free.   That rules of the road have no exceptions.  It doesn't prevent disrespect.   

"Has anyone set off to find how far the road to goes and where it leads or ends.  mapping it. Finding out how it affects the land around it."

"We are in the process of that now my Lord

"Follow the road, map it out make sure to report back to me immediately as to where it leads.  I don't want to leave this to make us easy targets, open to attacks.  If this road leads to other kingdoms, we need to know and make adjustments as soon as possible.  Even if this road prevents attacks and that it doesn't mean that we need to not have a way to defend against other people using the road as an excuse to come to this Kingdom without any announcements.

The king went into deep contemplation.  He couldn't help but find the structure to be absolutely amazing and baffling.  It did appear out of nowhere with in minutes.   Although it is convenient, it would do well to cautious.  Even if it seems harmless.  We need to be prepare for hidden traps.

The King Marco started to finish up the morning affairs.  This was going to be a long day.


.....           The Farming Communities.         ....

The farming Communities don't have town leaders everyone manage responsibilities. But the are chosen representatives in the farming Communities. They come together to discuss their seasonal harvest, the events, trade agreements, marketing events, and the everyday inner issues.   The Communities also have their own laws and punishment, adjusting punishment based on severity of the crime.  Things they are unable to handle the turn to the kingdoms Ministry of law to take over.  The farming Communities would choose people to go before the king to discuss business.  Making the king aware of any situation within their farming community that could affect the kingdom.  

"Okay, there's news road it actually starts to incorporate our cobblestone road mix with itself.   Making our road less advanced version of itself our road are susceptible to wear and tear while the mana roads are indestructible.  But wear in tear can be repaired easliy.  It seems to also prevent violence and theft the bandit attacks on all shipments have decreased to zero as long as we're on the road nothing happens to us.

If we're not careful we'll end up getting attacked on our Farms.  We do understand that they do mostly take the food they haven't really harmed our people.  If they're starved, then this could be a huge problem for us in the long run."

I do understand that concern.  The bandits steal and raid our shipment.  But most of their unforgivable crimes are usual done in the city or to the city folks.  Maybe it is time to recruit them for work.  

We continue to grow financially we have done quite well because of the mana road.  One day of profit has gone over 300 hundred percent profit because we didn't suffer an attack from bandits.

Offering jobs settle one issue.  Then train them in merchant buisness,  time management, plant life characteristics making visible improve dirty clay sand rock water mana environment and weather affect plants. Micky, plan out the training regiment make it interactive.  Perpare for illiteracy as well.  Find out what they have talent in and their knowledge foundation they get hired"

"What other business needs to be handled?"

"We successfully raised and harvested the crock potatoes, crane sweet potatoes, and black rice. They have been tested but the cooks to see if you would be a good stable food. The result are they yeild  26,000 lbs. of crock potatoes,  and 18,000 lbs. crane sweet potatoes. From the black rice on the artificial water patties we harvested 2,500lbs. after husking.  They can be made into an unlimited amount of dishes. This staple food is cheap to sell to the poor and can turn a better profit than some of our other vegetables.  It wouldn't be a loss to hire people to run those Farms.  Those areas need to be flipped and then to a four-stage farm and the ground has to be allowed to gain nutrients nutrients and that we can maintain the nutrients in the soil.  That part isn't a big concern."

"The odd magic road has finished incorporating our main cobblestone roads into it's own.  It has made transporting goods even easier around the farms community also connecting all the

"Add the materials light stones, small mana shard, bugward tree, iron wood tree, cobblestone, and mountain stone. For any roads that that needs to be started and finished.  also dig trenched also these fields. the rain run off can be use to irrigate the fields. excess water can be stored in the water tower

"Also, we need to start hiring some Adventures to take care of the rodent problems.  We don't want an infestation from rats and mice and other rodent creatures.  Since productivity has picked up this is one of our biggest concerns so we need to work on it now.  Let's see if we can draw in some of the bandits to work and do the hunting around the farm also.  The sooner we can handle this the better harvest we will have.

They all agreed.  They didn't see the need to be cautious.  They only saw benefits with no negatives.  As long as they handled the bandit issue growth to the agricultural Communities would flourish. 
 
Next issue the purchase of liquid mana to put in the water.  Magical crops can some times cause mana droughts.  To prevent this, liquid mana mixed in water is used to water the magical crops and herbs.  It also increases the harvest of all magical crops by 31%.  The potency of the crops would be increase from 5% to 60%  which was exceptional increase where 100% profit could be doubled and quadrupled.  

Hard work was starting to pay.  And it all started with a magical road.

"Time will tell what this is.  But he alone didn't do this."

"I know."  

"How is the Town Center Building?"

"So far, I have a lot to learn. I need staff to help me run everything.  This build makes me wonder how a bound me ran a town."

Merrick patted him on the shoulder.

"We were less complicated then.  And now we are more then we were.  Ignorance is bliss and simple people don't know the immense impact of knowledge.  We are no longer simple people.  And our knowledge doesn't let us push off our responsibilities."

"What will you do?"
"My son needs away out of this town safely."
"If my assumption is correct that new road will be getting some travelers soon.  Just wait.  Your son won't take a lost.  Plus he has a daughter.  He won't let her suffer."
Merrick went into deep thought.

I guess I need to start preparing to leave soon.  Jasper sat with the baby in his lap.  

"What are though thinking about? "

"I am thinking about  whether or not to leave soon."
"ooooo.  Because of yesterday."  My mom hugged me.

"Yes."

Am i sulking? Yes!

I didn't know that my town was called the Town of exiles.   In school I had of several places like this.  People you want dead but dont want to or you can't kill.  Exiled Noblemen, Ministry, people exile, framed, forced out, and unwanted.  

Jasper realized, trouble was walking to them.  There would be a gathering.

A young man who graduated from Life Academy is thrown out as a distraction for a group he once thought were his friend.

He dies a horribly.  But time goes back.  As a ten year old about to be 11.  He is about to start school in the lowest bracket.  But let see how hos adult mind changes his childhood.

Since Shao Hua was still sad, Zhang Fan gave up on his original plan of studying medical textbooks and instead took her out for a walk. Shao Hua leaned against Zhang Fan as they slowly walked out on the street. Since the weather was getting warmer, there were now more people out on the streets simply taking a walk after a meal. There were a lot more children out on the street now that it wasn't as cold as in wintertime. Young kids jumped and ran all over, while adult guardians trailed behind them.
China was getting richer and its borders were opening up. Both good things and bad things started coming in. This was even more so for Chasu City of the border province as Chasu City was very close to the border. It had a lot of contact with those from other countries. Many bad things from other countries also started spreading here.
At 4:00 a.m., a large group of youngsters was out on the road, riding their motorcycles with a raucous atmosphere. Lots of powerful motorcycles that usually wouldn't be seen during the day had all gathered together, along with all sorts of young men and women. These people were all really young. The atmosphere was filled with excitement. Upon closer inspection, there was also the scent of marijuana in the air!
Marijuana wasn't very common in inland China. However, since Chasu City was close to several -stan suffix countries, the bad habit of using marijuana had come over as well. It was common for these youngsters to bring out a marijuana joint and all share it when they gathered together. The youngsters believed that marijuana was harmless, non-addictive, and exciting. How pitiful their foolishness was!
The youngsters were excited, really excited. They were on a road that was far away from the main city. Since it was 4:00 a.m., there was almost nobody on the road other than themselves. They revved up their powerful motorcycles' engines to the loudest, played extremely loud and wild music, and all shook their heads together, going down this rebellious path!
A dozen or so motorcycles all lined up together. Maybe the youngsters were trying to show off or something as a beautiful young woman was sitting behind each rider. However, even if they were trying to show off, nobody else was around at this time of night to see them! What a strange way of thinking.
These youngsters were betting. They were betting on who among the motorcycle riders would be the fastest. Everyone else kept cheering and wagering large amounts of money, throwing fistfuls of cash as if it was scrap paper onto the ground, where numerous shirts represented the riders. 
"I bet on Tu Xun!"
"I bet on Wang Yue!"
"I bet on ———!"
The young men and women seemed like devils as they danced in the middle of the night on this road.
A young woman tossed out her red underwear. When it slowly landed on the ground, the motorcyclists started their race as that had been the signal to start! The youngsters shouted loudly as the motorcycles' engines boomed. These powerful motorcycles, which had been smuggled into China, charged forward like rockets. Their bright headlights kept intersecting with each other as the motorcyclists raced.
This really was so foolishly suicidal. Even if these youngsters wanted to race and gamble on the results, they shouldn't be using marijuana while doing so! These smuggled motorcycles were extremely powerful. Even some smaller cars wouldn't be as powerful as these motorcycles. It was quite easy to reach 100 km/h.
This type of speed really was faster than the wind. It would be easy to cover more than 10 kilometers in just moments. They had secretly raced on this road many times already, so they were rather familiar with it. They would gather here at random rather than set times as what they were doing was illegal. The police weren't just for show. These youngsters would have been arrested instantly if they raced here every day.
China was getting wealthier, so youngsters like these children of wealthy families started acting ridiculously. In contrast, there were also people who were leading lives of relative poverty. In any city for tourism or more civilized city, the most important would be that the city's cleanliness reached a certain standard.
This standard was really strict, reaching the point where no visible trash was supposed to be seen in any major street or small alleyway. This created a great demand for street sweepers. Since this was a major undertaking, the government gave the job of keeping the streets clean to various contractors. Each contractor would be responsible for keeping a certain section of the city clean.
Being a city cleaning contractor wasn't something that just anyone could do, as the government gave quite a decent amount of money for this. Only those with power and influence would be able to become contractors. The contractors would then hire street sweepers!
Old Yang was a widower. A contractor had hired him to be the street sweeper for Binhe Road, the name of the road that the young motorcyclists were on. Normally, most other street sweepers would start their road cleaning work at around 8:00 a.m.
However, he was older, and didn't need much sleep. He usually went to sleep around 9:00 p.m. and would wake up at around 2:00 a.m. while sighing about how early he woke up. He would then get up as he wanted to finish sweeping Binhe Road as early as possible so that he could enjoy watching elderly women dancing in the park. He figured he might be able to even invite a nice old lady to dance with him if he was lucky sometimes. Old Yang was poor and old, and this was his only hobby left in life!
This morning, he picked up his bright orange street sweeper uniform, which also had white stripes, but then paused for a moment and put it back down. Whenever he wore his uniform and went to the park, people would always look down on him. Normally, he could at least get a friendly dance in, but whenever he was in his uniform, it would be considered quite nice already if the old women didn't look down on him. It would be impossible for him to get a dance!
Old Yang decided to instead put on a rather passable jacket as he placed his large broom on his wheelbarrow as he slowly set out. "Sigh! The clouds are so large tonight. They're even covering the moon entirely. I wonder if it will rain this morning. If it rains today, nobody is going to be dancing!" Old Yang talked to himself as he walked. He had been alone for many years already. He was so lonely that he had picked up the habit of talking to himself!
Old Yang slowly walked down Binhe Road. Meanwhile, the young motorcyclists were zooming around at high speed. Every motorcyclist had a beautiful young woman tightly hanging on to him.
These young women were wearing black short leather clothing in the Korean style, with white cotton form-fitting underwear inside. They were all tightly clutching on to the motorcyclists! Marijuana, high speed, sex hormones, and money. All of this was too stimulating! A motorcyclist who won the race would not only win lots of money, but also maybe get to have fun with the young woman behind him! Thus, the young motorcyclists all raced at top speed for the sake of money and excitement, not caring about their own lives!
A certain teenaged girl riding behind a motorcyclist on a white motorcycle was still only in her third year of middle school. Her parents were fairly wealthy, but her parents were also on really bad terms with each other. This teenager was in her rebellious period, and her parents were unable to manage her, so they sent her off to a boarding school.
However, the teenager then became acquainted with some older youths who really enjoyed getting tattoos, smoking, drinking alcohol, and having endless parties with lots of flirting and more going on. All of this seemed so incredibly stimulating and interesting to her.
Studying seemed so boring to her! She hated her stupid school uniform and stupid school! These leather jackets, mascara, marijuana, stimulation, loud shouts... all of this seemed so much more fun! These older men seemed far more skilled to her! The other male middle schoolers at her school who tried to flirt with her seemed just like little chicks to her. They were far too boring!
"F*ck! Who the hell put such a large rock in the middle of the road! Nutcase! Mentally retarded! This happens several times per month! F*ck your ancestors!" 
Someone had placed a large rock in the middle of Binhe Road! Old Yang was the street sweeper in charge of keeping all of Binhe Road clean from obstacles and trash. If someone saw such a large rock, then he would have part of his salary deducted. His salary was quite low to begin with! Old Yang cussed angrily at the large rock as he felt that it was really strange that several days per month, someone would have nothing better to do than place a large rock in the middle of the road!
The rock was so large and heavy that Old Yang was incapable of moving it. However, he had already become experienced at dealing with this type of matter. He first lowered his wheelbarrow, and then slowly moved the large rock onto the wheelbarrow. Old Yang broke out into a sweat all over from the exertion!
Although he viewed dancing with old ladies as really important, he viewed his salary as more important. Otherwise, what would he even eat? He moved the large rock off the road, swept away all small stones and dirt from the road, wiped his sweat, and slowly continued down Binhe Road!
"Just what is this!!" Every month, there would be a few days when there was a particularly high amount of trash on Binhe Road. There would be chewing gum, cigarette butts, beer bottles, and even used condoms.
Today was such a day as well! Old Yang had to constantly clear all of this trash away. Although this work wasn't very difficult, the requirements were really high. No trash at all was allowed to remain on the road. Binhe Road was only about two kilometers long, but cleaning all of it would still take a very long time.
Since Old Yang was out here in the middle of the night, visibility was really poor. He faintly felt like there was something in the middle of the road. Since there wouldn't be any cars out on the road at this time of night, Old Yang decided to take a look at what it was, wheeling his wheelbarrow into the middle of the road!
"Sigh!" Old Yang discovered that the object was a toad that had been crushed into ground meat, sticking onto the road. A used condom had been thrown right on top of its corpse. Old Yang withstood his disgust as he slowly scraped the dead toad off of the roadside! This was really hard work for him as he kneeled in front of his wheelbarrow! 
"F*ck, have sex if you want, but what did this toad do to you!?" Old Yang had a really dirty mouth. This was another habit of his because he was far too lonely!
The blood, pressure from the motorcycle wheel, rubber, and protein all seemed to combine together to make an excellent glue, which was why it was so difficult for Old Yang to scrape off the toad's remains.
Suddenly, he heard something like a car engine! Old Yang was sure that it was an engine of some sort. He tried his best to stand up, but he was rather old, and his legs were in poor shape, so he found himself unable to stand up suddenly after kneeling on the road for so long. Before he could get up, a motorcycle in the distance suddenly became visible!
Old Yang's movements were rather slow due to advanced age! He waved his broom while loudly shouting, "There's someone on the road! Watch out!"
He wasn't in time! The motorcyclists were unable to stop in time by the time that they noticed Old Yang. More than 10 motorcycles were all chasing after one another. They all instantly arrived!


One day, Zhang Fan, a poor medical student, receives a medical system from the future. This turns him into a new shining star in the medical field. Along the way, he must face medical corruption, competition, and infighting from other doctors, and even find time for a love life as he strives for the top of the medical field!

8.30pm. By now, the first course in the ten course meal had arrived on the tables of the military officials. Ming Yue Guang had left the venue with the medal of honour given to his father. He wasn't hungry at the moment, moreover, there were a lot of things on his mind. It would be hard for any person to process that their whole life was a lie.


Hands rested in the pocket of his hoodie jacket, the box that kept the medal rested under the light grip of Yue Guang's right hand. The young man's eyes were unfocused as he walked along the lit pavements of Glory Road. This was the same exact road where Sato walked down when he had gotten the notification that he was unable to continue university.


The reason for people coming to Glory Road could be split into two categories.


One, people come to Glory Road when they would like to explore or enjoy the ambiance of the Attraction. After all, the place was built to celebrate the achievements of the citizens in Country Z, the entire area was designed to be perfect for tourists or dates.


Two, those that ever have something on their minds and needed a place to clear their thoughts, Glory Road would be the perfect place to do that. The road was one straight line along the river view in Country Z. The cool breeze at night, in addition to the night ambiance, allows anyone to clear their thoughts.


Other than coming to Glory Road to clear his head, there was one more reason that led Ming Yue Guang here today. Right before the young man had left the stage, Lieutenant Colonel Christopher Perkins had told Yue Guang to visit Glory Road when he was free. "Take a look at the monument in Glory Road."


What monument was he talking about? There are so many monuments on Glory Road… Ming Yue Guang was confused. He looked around the plaques and descriptions that showed who was on the monument. Only after walking about halfway through the scenic road, did he stop moving. His head raced as it brought back memories of the past when the boy was still young.


it was a rare break given to Ming Jiang Fei from work. Jiang Fei decided that he wanted to bring his nine year old with him on a walk along Glory Road. Melisa did not tag along that day and so, it was one of those father and son bonding moments for the both of them.


Holding the boy's hand, Jiang Fei took Ming Guang on a walk along the new built Glory Road. The attraction was actually constructed post war between Country Z and Country N. At the beginning, the place was built to be a site to remember the fallen soldiers that had fought in the five year war with Country N. However, after a long debate, rather than making Glory Road a remembrance ground for the soldiers, the families of the soldiers preferred to make Glory Road into a place of celebration.


"We celebrate and remember our achievements, so as to inspire future generations to come!" That was how Glory Road's front entrance motto came about. Together as one collective unit, our achievements shall make Country Z the brightest star among hundreds of countries of the world.


After finishing construction, the government only had time to install the first monument which was located in the middle of Glory Road. The monument was actually 10 giant plaques made out of the clearest white marble. It stood tall and proud, which would weather rain and storms for many years to come. On the plaque were the names of the fallen soldiers during the five year war. There were hundreds of thousands of deaths accumulated over time and so, the writings were very small.


To the right of these plaques that remembered the fallen, there were another 10 giant plaques that had names of the soldiers that had survived the war and lived to tell the tale. The plaques that were made for the survivors were requested by the fallen victims families. They thought it was unfair that only those that had passed on would be remembered.


Jiang Fei brought Yue Guang look through the names on the plaques. To the clueless nine year old, this place did not hold much meaning. However, to Ming Jiang Fei who had been through the war personally and had comrades that passed on for the sake of the country, he was here to pay respects to them. As Jiang Fei kneeled down and kowtowed to the fallen soldiers, his cute nine year old son followed along and kowtowed to the soldiers.


The father and son eventually went to the plaques for the survivors. By right, Ming Jiang Fei's name should've been carved on the front most plaque. That plaque was reserved for the soldiers that had great significance in the army. They were usually the strategist, generals or people that were the first one in and last one out of war. As a Secret Military Agent, Jiang Fei requested for him to be anonymous on the plaque.


"Son, one day, we shall come back here together and I shall reveal a secret to you." Ming Jiang Fei turned to look at his son that was only up to his ribcage.


"What secret? I want to know it now!" Yue Guang complained.


"Hahahaha! One day, when you are finally at my height I will reveal it to you! So quickly grow up will you?"


"Really? Do you promise?" Ming Yue Guang reached out his pinkie to his father.


"Yes I promise." The father pinkie promised with his son.


"Okay! I want to go back home now to drink milk!"


"Hahahaha! Okay! Let us head back home!" Hand in hand, the father and son left back home.


14 years later, Ming Yue Guang arrived at the white plaque where he and his father stood back then. He took out his phone and shone the flashlight on the names on the plaque. Over the years, the names engraved into the marble had deteriorate slightly, but there was one name that was more defined than others.


Ming Jiang Fei.


The humble boy dropped to his knees and cried one more time. After 14 years, the promise made between father and son was finally fulfilled.

Sato had to drop out of university as he lacked the funds to continue his education. Due to some unfortunate encounters, his original scholarship funds had disappeared and now he was forced to earn enough to carry on his education journey.

As such, he saw a advertisement ad recruiting a personal assistant in the military. Anyone could be eligible and not only that, the pay was high too. Immediately Sato applies for it, where he soon finds out that it was to be the Personal Assistant for a Major General of the Army of Country Z.
