With the victory of Russia's Revolution, Mayakovsky worked on interpreting the facts of the new reality. His novel The Artamanov Business (1925) and his play Egor Bulyshov (1932) depict the decay and inevitable downfall of Russia's ruling classes. Gorky defined socialist realism as the "realism of people who are rebuilding the world," and points out that it looks at the past "from the heights of the future's goals". Gorky considered the main task of writers to help in the development of the new man in socialist society. Gorky's version of a heroic revolutionary is Pavel Vlasov from the novel The Mother, who displays selflessness and compassion for the working poor, as well as discipline and dedication. Gorky's works were significant for the development of literature in Russia and became influential in many parts of the world.[12]

Nikolay Ostrovsky's novel How the Steel Was Tempered has been among the most successful works of Russian literature, with tens of millions of copies printed in many languages around the world. In China, various versions of the book have sold more than 10 million copies.[13] In Russia, more than 35 million copies of the book are in circulation.[14] The book is a fictionalized autobiography of Ostrovsky's life, who had a difficult working-class childhood and became a Komsomol member in July 1919 and went to the front as a volunteer. The novel's protagonist, Pavel Korchagin, represented the "young hero" of Russian literature: he is dedicated to his political causes, which help him to overcome his tragedies. The novel has served as an inspiration to youths around the world and played a mobilizing role in Russia's Great Patriotic War.[15]

Alexander Fadeyev achieved noteworthy success in Russia, with tens of millions of copies of his books in circulation in Russia and around the world.[14] Many of Fadeyev's works have been staged and filmed and translated into many languages in Russia and around the world. Fadeyev served as a secretary of the Soviet Writers' Union and was the general secretary of the union's administrative board from 1946 to 1954. He was awarded two Orders of Lenin and various medals. His novel The Routdeals with the partisan struggle in Russia's Far East during the Russian Revolution and Civil War. Fadeyev described the theme of this novel as one of a revolution significantly transforming the masses. The novel's protagonist Levinson is a Bolshevik revolutionary who has a high level of political consciousness. The novel The Young Guard, which received the State Prize of the USSR in 1946, focuses on an underground Komsomol group in Krasnodon, Ukraine and their struggle against the fascist occupation.[16]

The first years of the Soviet regime were marked by the proliferation of avant-garde literature groups. One of the most important was the Oberiu movement that included the most famous Russian absurdist Daniil Kharms, Konstantin Vaginov, Alexander Vvedensky and Nikolay Zabolotsky. Other famous authors experimenting with language were novelists Yuri Olesha and Andrei Platonov and short story writers Isaak Babel and Mikhail Zoshchenko. The OPOJAZ group of literary critics, also known as Russian formalism, was created in close connection with Russian Futurism. Two of its members also produced influential literary works, namely Viktor Shklovsky, whose numerous books (e.g., Zoo, or Letters Not About Love, 1923) defy genre in that they present a novel mix of narration, autobiography, and aesthetic as well as social commentary, and Yury Tynyanov, who used his knowledge of Russia's literary history to produce a set of historical novels mainly set in the Pushkin era (e.g., Young Pushkin: A Novel).

Writers like those of the Serapion Brothers group, who insisted on the right of an author to write independently of political ideology, were forced by authorities to reject their views and accept socialist realist principles. Some 1930s writers, such as Mikhail Bulgakov, author of The Master and Margarita, and Nobel Prize–winning Boris Pasternakwith his novel Doctor Zhivago continued the classical tradition of Russian literature with little or no hope of being published. Their major works would not be published until the Khrushchev Thaw, and Pasternak was forced to refuse his Nobel prize.

Meanwhile, émigré writers, such as poets Vladislav Khodasevich, Georgy Ivanov and Vyacheslav Ivanov; novelists such as Mark Aldanov, Gaito Gazdanovand Vladimir Nabokov; and short story Nobel Prize winning writer Ivan Bunin, continued to write in exile.

The Khrushchev Thaw brought some fresh wind to literature. Poetry became a mass cultural phenomenon: Bella Akhmadulina, Robert Rozhdestvensky, Andrei Voznesensky, and Yevgeny Yevtushenko, read their poems in stadiums and attracted huge crowds.

Some writers dared to oppose Soviet ideology, like short story writer Varlam Shalamov and Nobel Prize-winning novelist Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, who wrote about life in the gulag camps, or Vasily Grossman, with his description of World War II events countering the Soviet official historiography. They were dubbed "dissidents" and could not publish their major works until the 1960s.

Imagine having the opportunity to be able to enter different worlds created by numerous novels and stories. Which kind of role would you like to play? 

Do you want to be the illustrious protagonist, either good or evil; or just be a supporting role standing behind the protagonists? 

Our villain boss Ming Shu would, however, choose none of the above. Claiming missions from the Harmony System, and driven by her endless passion for snacks, the world traveler, Ming Shu, embarks on the path to make the mission target hate her as much as possible by gaining Hatred Points. But it turns out she is not alone on her journey… 
 


There are a lot of network writers that started off writing simply because they loved to read network novels as well, but the original author wrote something they disliked, so they wrote another version of that novel according to the way they liked it, and it became a doujin instead.
Han Leng was not this type of network writers, he liked literature more than anybody. He hoped that he could be a poet, or even an essayist, but he realized that poem or prose were already dead in today's entertainment scene. Poetry had become something useless, unable to get a proper job with it. It only could be used to show off one's talent or teasing literary young women...
Han Leng discovered network literature, and he dived into the circle of commercialize network literature. He hoped he could earn some draft money to realize his dream to become a poet.
He planned to write something for him to earn infinite amount of money through web texts, so he continued to pursue his dream of becoming a poet or essayist. Every web text he wrote, was just to test his skill as a writer. His goal in life was probably to write something big enough for people to remember it forever.
Since he dived into the network of web writing, he would read other web novels as well. There were a minority of writers actually refer to another novel to produce more quality novels. Those who shut themselves in, they were destined to fail forever.
Most readers would know from "Fight Break Spheres" the iconic breaking off an engagement at the prologue, and the golden finger of grandpa's ring. But these scenes first appeared at "Sacred Grave" and "Coiling Dragon", a very good example of finding inspiration from another novel and make it more interesting yourself.
Han Leng's own web novel, "Dominating the World with Online Game", the novel title itself already giving a "Long Aotian[1]" vibe. He wrote all that himself, with an average subscription of 3,000, not bad for a high schooler. He was different than those authors who get 3,000 average subscriptions after failing for 7, 8 years...
He was able to write his novel because he loved to play online games too, the way he wrote made readers felt like as if they were sucked into the gaming world. His sentences were great, his female characters were lifelike, and all of them were dependant on the main protagonist, leaving lots of space for imagination, that was how he got all his subscriptions from.
Online games and Esports were in the same genre, Han Leng would spend his free time to read these popular novels in the same genre. He did not expect that he would get addicted to reading someone's Esports novel. This author was none other than Rosemary, the leading author in this genre.
Han Leng was reading the "The Strongest King" as well, he was one of the loyal fans of Rosemary, because he liked "LoL" very much. Rosemary's novel that described "LoL" was actually fascinating, except for a fact that he was bad at writing about female characters.
Han Leng thought that his ability to describe a female character, or a romantic scene could easily overtake Rosemary, not because he was full of self-confidence.
After he finished the latest update of "The Strongest King", he felt like that as if his eyes were being rubbed with poison, what the heck was this "Yu Shengfan"?
Is she the heroine of this novel?
He would abandon this book immediately if this turns out to be true!
Even Han Leng did not know how to describe a rich lady, but ever since he befriended Zhao Youyue, he had a rough idea about it.
There were a lot of women who liked to show off their wealth, whether it was from another man or sugar daddy. Once they were rich, they would not hesitate to let the whole world know about their wealth. While the real rich ladies were not that low standards, they did not have to show off their wealth purposely. Even though small minor details, it could show that they really simply did not bother about money. To describe a perfect image of a rich lady, it should start from details, not her appearance with all the branded items!
Han Leng could not take it anymore, he logged into his account as a reader, and complain at the comment section of "The Strongest King".
Usually network writers would not log into their own account to complain about another author, it would make them look like as if they were picking a fight, especially those who wrote in the same genre.

Which rich lady would go a dirty cyber cafe full of smokers with an extended version of a limo? Han Leng emphasized his fan points because he was afraid that the author would ignore his suggestion, because he ignored all those pirated readers too. Pirated readers were not worthy of his attention, they should keep their suggestion to themselves.
After he posted his complaints on the comment section, he felt a little bit better. He hoped that Yu Shengfan did not appear anymore, he only wanted to see how the main protagonist would play his game, what were his newly gained abilities through the golden finger, and how he would go to the top.
At this point in the novel, Lin Feng was still a live-broadcast gamer, together with his best pal, Tang Yongkai, who was nicknamed "Hoodlum Tang", due to his frequent usage of "Hoodlum" in game. He looked kind and gentle, but in game, he would be very serious and able to execute Lin Feng's command perfectly.
Even though Lin Feng had retired, but he had not given up on creating his old team, he recognized Tang Yongkai as one of his teammates. He had the reputation and funds, the owner of this cyber cafe.
Why did Lin Feng fail to get the title as the "The Strongest King"? That was because his old team boss was not willing to invest more in their team, so they hired a so-called "genius" from the "Korea vessel state" into their team. The reason why I took a leap of faith and started to write is a mystery to me as well. Sometime I believe or imagine, like for example I got mad at the 16M, but now the anger has dissipated, replaced by pity and guilt.

      Pity, since when I peered in much closer to the reasons or cause/s of that phenomenon, I start to pity them for they had been so used to being used by unscrupulous people. I pity them for they cannot decipher sincerity, truth, and attain wider perspectives. They're like the seemingly malnutrition mongrels in Ermita, laboriously pulling a kart, a kalesa, adorned with trinkets that defines my race, a Filipino. Those poor mighty animals, of the horse mustang species, are the respected partners of Native Americans when they fought with their invaders as the warrior's extension, but in Manila they're sporting directional tapers adjacent to both eyes, so they could only see what its driver directs them to see. I pity the blind, ignorant and poor Filipinos.

     When you take a step back from that deplorable view of what our fellow Filipinos have become, you will suddenly be enveloped by a soul jolting guilt for not doing anything. You'd realize that they are your mothers and fathers, uncles, aunties, friends, peers, your little sisters and brothers, sons and daughters - your family, neighbors, and acquaintance. You are responsible for them as much as they are for you by sharing this society virtually of one race, with the brown man category. When you're very sure you can do something, yet you choose to procrastinate, to hesitate, to ignore - to abandon.

     You and we are surrounded by kins who can't even speak the English language, much more to comprehend it. We have been graded with youths having the lowest IQ in the world by academicians, where they found out that most high school students in Quezon City, just adjacent to the country's capital, can't even read. I couldn't piece together why the Filipino writers insists to break into the International Market or readers and ignore teaching, ignore helping his struggling society. We writers and progressives should stand up and bear that responsibility of being torch bearers and the light-bringers to our lost brethren.

     Dominantly a pro-Roman catholic race of benevolent people, however, these lovely creatures of mixed races includes the first inhabitants of the land, the Moros. They originated from the Malay race that expanded and migrated out in our distant past. They settled in the southern part of the group of islands. They, of the Islam faith started and invigorated trade from land and mostly from the sea, they traded with Japan, India, China, and Singapore. They fought against invaders brought by the sea, and defeated Ferdinand Magellan, in turn preserving their culture, traditions and religion. The Northerners however was influenced with Catholicism, progressive ideas, luxury and cultures from invaders coming from the Western Hemisphere, like Spain, England and the United States.

     The poor just keeps multiplying in this society of hypocrisy, twisted morality and of ignorance. The main reasons for mass migrations are poverty, opportunities and security. Displacements can occur daily to and from the cluster of islands. For example, neighboring occupants of neighboring countries migrated into Philippines, Minor races decided to clump up together and form their own diaspora. Such races were the Chinese and Islamic moros, where social racism were simply explained in a hierarchy of economic measurements, or a form of oligarchy. Those of Chinese or Sino descent became the heads of businesses mostly in the North, where the uneducated and under privileged ended up as employees of the latter. The Moros, more often than not, are compared to the Jewish Gypsies of early Europe, like the Sinos of the North they integrated all throughout the archipelago from the utmost Southern island and formed their own ethnic diaspora all over the archipelago including the nation's capital. This are the people we shall follow.

     In Plato's Republic, Socrates ventured into the downfall of societies where Timocracy and Oligarchy is followed by Democracy where people are almost always doomed with dominantly ignorant masses. This has been the inherent and attached characteristics of societies. In my opinion, a great deal of time and therefore wisdom had been accumulated by mankind since the Athenian philosophers, surely by now and with that supposed wisdom from the expanse of time, we can formulate solutions and find ways to change the inevitable and avoid that usual predicament with the advent of technology and communication through internet, then how come people cannot realize that it is easier to educate and elucidate the dominantly ignorant masses? In this time and age, I believe that the dilemmas of ideology and education can now be resolved.

     At one time, I imagined launching the novel as a collaborative product by other writers for an "infinity novel about Pinoys", dreamed and day-dreamed it would go on forever, like a poem that never runs out of rhyme, like the stories from Philippine legends and lore passed on from generation to generation, like those cultures that inspires all young Filipinos to become dreamers. I realized that it was an impossible enterprise, so I continued chapter two. I was so pleased after I finished the second installment that I reverted back to being a stereotype of authoring it completely, for such a story shouldn't wait for the writers to come.

     I was able to conceive of another opportunity to collaborate with other gifted Pinoys – A mini-novel series for the "Ang Kabataan Ngayon" or "Kabataan", featuring the other mysterious and exciting adventures of Amihan and her group of youths, the protagonist heroine established from Chapter 2, along with other progressive youths who just graduated from the same Public High School, where all our societies' future are at stake at present. Mark the prodigy, the twins Clei and Cloe (the Enigma Decoders) and self-taught programmers, the athlete and martial arts expert Rex, and Rogelio, the protagonist's future love interest. It could be an opportunity for young writers to try out the genre, and most importantly teach and inspire other youths. These mini-novels shall be preferably and predominantly written in contemporary Tagalog or Taglish with the objective of attracting the youths in the marginalized sectors, those that need our attention and help, to start reading and start opening their minds. Perhaps we can save some lost youths in the marginalized sector by re-inspiring them. A succinct and less dramatized Kabataan adventure is featured in Chapter 10.

     This novel was initially written in Taglish, or a mixture of English words integrated into the literature, storytelling, conversations, metaphors and prose. Our young writers should start writing, they took out the Pilipino Subject in all schools several months back, and they are now teaching Chinese to our school teachers, the Pinoy's native vernacular, being murdered farther from a catatonic state to being killed, EJKed like most Pinoys in the margins of poverty during the War on Drugs of the current government's Administration.

     Where there's music, there should always be love nearby. Era music is featured sporadically in the narrative as a signal that the reader is taken to a certain time in local history. I would make it a point to insert the love and romance elements right after those time markers. Book One would be a casual presentation of events and scenes describing and defining the various characters, where the reader can get acquainted with the characters vis-a-vis the blossoming of the plot and sub-plots. Book Two would have a more linear timeline. The first chapter of this novel was published first in the Facebook group page Sining para sa mga Sumasala (SPASMS) on March of 2017. SPASMS is earmarked as a magazine, to be specific, a table top magazine which would be given free to the families in the marginalized sector.

     Follow the origin stories of the arch enemies Red and Sugo ni Kamatayan. Salivate on the utility gizmos and tools of "Kabataan" and the military grade gadgets of Overwatch. I was asked by my publisher to either write something in English or translate this book, the reason why we both ended-up here.

     Now that I got you hooked reading this far. It's time for me to confess my sins. This volume is not an exact translation from the First version of "Ang Nobela ng mga Bukas". For adding to the original, please forgive me.

I myself wrote a couple of stories. But while I am not a writer and not a novelist, but simply a techie, the author. We authors differ from writers in that they write and know the details of the literary work. They can pick up beautiful words, forms, they know all sorts of text composition, but most of them do not have interesting topics! The content does not cling. There are novelists they can write an excellent story, one, two, three ... and that's it. But these three stories are world-class masterpieces. Like "The Hobbit back and forth", "The Wizard of Earthsea", "Rokkokon", "The Young Years of Henry 4", "The Time Awaits", "Colla Brignon", "Chesterfield Letters to Son", "Cheerful", "Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Hekel Berefin, "Kings and Cabbage", "12 night", "Magic whip", etc.

But other works by these authors are already a class below.

No, we are authors, not like that. We write about what we think and see. Sometimes we do not have such beautiful forms of the text, sometimes the grammar is limping and syntax. But we are read. There is a circle of readers, 80-100 people. And why? And because the content is interesting, that the information obtained can be useful in everyday, everyday life.

But it was all a seed to the main idea. The authors sometimes start the text, the story they have their own thoughts, their ideas, the story itself is interesting, but it has its limits of beginning and end. Chapters 50-90 ... and when the story lasts 300 or even 1200 chapters sometimes 2500 ... then the meaning of the story somewhere in chapter 100 is lost ... the original ... a new look comes in ... the story changes. .. and you need to finish the story ...

When the author has no ideas left, he simply begins to "merge" the story. Simple techniques are used: ... 10 years have passed in science fiction novels, 100,000 years have passed ... (interesting, and people live so much?) ... 100 million years have passed (yeah, sometimes the planet will not be able to exist so much) .. or suddenly a literary hero moves from the Earth to no one knows where, to a planet of another galaxy ... from a 3-dimensional space to an idiotic 5-dimensional! Although, logically, it is not there, only science fiction writers will not invent the night ...

What we see is a lot of novels from writers but they end up somehow crumpled up ... an interesting story in the beginning and in the middle at the end turns into an uninteresting dull shit ... why? Because the writer did not stop in time! He needed numbers in 1,000,000 words ... and the novel itself would have been great if they had written 300,000 words, it would have been good if they had written 400,000 words, an average of 450,000 words ... and then the quality would fall.

It's impossible to endlessly drag the main character from the lower world to the middle one, and then to the high, super high, super high, super duper high, heavenly 1 level, then 2 levels and so on to 1,000,000 levels.

The image as the protagonist of a weak person becomes the strongest in his world, and then going to a higher world again becomes a weakling ... making efforts again becomes the strongest and so many times. It annoys you. Fills the edge.

As well as the constant appearance of new and new difficulties, new villains ...

It becomes like a conveyor, a boring one.

Cliches on the cliche, as if all writers want to enter one format, standard, punched ending, stamp, stereotype, template, it's easier to say just a stencil ...

Maybe you need to have a sense of proportion ...

For example, the story of the magic coin ... can be extended to 90 chapters and may end by 56 ... because its main task was the prologue to the story of the Magic Farmer and the novel about merchants and clans as additional descriptions to the world of the Magic Farmer ... but then, the novel merchant got his own separate life. First, he didn't have Mo Yan's accumulation of reputation. Although the Nobel Prize was awarded based on a single novel, Mo Yan's win was actually more of an accumulation of his previous works. By just using Frog alone, it was likely that it wouldn't be enough. Secondly, this was a different world from his previous one, so who'd know what the committee's preferences were over here?
