A guideline for authors who are new to the business, written by a fan and veteran webnovel reader. These tips are what I think shows the basic quality of a novel, apart from its story. 

Recently, lots of originals have been popping up, and I have noticed that while they have great potential and exciting storylines and settings, the good aspects are buried in errors that could easily be corrected.

Authors, please give it a read. Of course, you will have your own thoughts and difficulties following these guidelines, but I feel that by following as many as you can, your novel will be more liked. Thank you!

Fellow readers as well as Authors, please feel free to mention other tips I can add to this guide to make it more detailed. I am happy to listen to your opinions on changes that can be made to my current guide.

#Tuesday announcement#

Hello everyone, author is here))
I want to take a break today, because due to growing story and continious improvement of MC it is really hard to manually keep track of what changes and what increases. What one ability does and etc. 
Therefore, today I started on creating a software that will help with that issue. I started it in the morning and still doing it now. 
Because, I spent most of my day typing program and sitting while doing so, I don't have strength to write a chapter for a story. It takes on average around 3 to 4 full hours to write a chapter if idea is clear, however lately chapters take longer, due to all foundation laying and story progression.
So, I don't want to write a wacky chapter just for a sake of new chapter. I will continue working on software to keep track of the MC progression and hopefully tomorrow I will do the chapter.

#Wednesday Update#

So, I am still working on software. Saving objects and modifying their copies is huge problem in C# cause it has no direct way of doing and apparently I forgot about it ;_) so... I made vital parts of interface and implemented them but still got stuck with copying objects. Takes a lot of time and I am really tired, but thought that not updating chaps for you for 2 days straight will be bad, so I decided to dedicate less time to software and started finishing chapter I started yesterday. 
After all, today I had to do less things for soft then on Tuesday))   
Without software really hard to keep track of all skills and abilities and other stuff. And paper not very editable in my opinion AND Wednesday chapter was especially heavy on this, but I did it XD .  
Thankfully I started it yesterday, so I was able to make it)))

Anyway I am going to continue doing software. See tomorrow. And don't forget to leave your feedback. I always try to read your comments. 

#Thursday update#

Software is nearly finished and I already started filling up info I had manually written or just kept in mind. I wanted to finish it as soon as possible, but rushing will lead only to mistakes. 
So today's chapter will be skipped as well, because previous chapter received some negative feedback, despite me working on it for 2-3 hours, which means I need to polish chapters even harder. 
Also, there was an idea by "WolfLord" about quests and that got me thinking about how can I implement it, because the idea was really good and would fit with next activity(walk in forest).

I am NOT dropping the novel. 
I am actually doing everything possible to make my future writing of the novel smoother and faster. See you all tomorrow.

I know it's a long break (more than a year) but I had to focus on my studies. Now into a 2-year internship with lots of free time in my hand. Thus I've decided to continue the novel, at the very least I can guarantee that I can keep writing for the next couple of years.

Guys, I'll officially upload the next new chapter in a couple of weeks; I'm editing all the chapters released, to improve the standard. Re-evaluation of the novel showed my standard of writing is weak, which's obvious given the fact that English is only my third language.   

I'm working on improving my writing skills but for the immediate results, an Editor software has been subscribed for premium.  

Readers are welcomed to re-read the chapters edited, all edited chapters will have the date of editing in the 'author's thoughts'. I'll be editing at least three chapters every day.

I know many readers might be angry or disappointed with the inconsistency and huge break for which I extend my humble apology to all the readers. And will be extremely grateful for all those re-joining the ride and thanks for reading my book.

Hello readers. I'm currently not able to access the site using my laptop. I'm not sure when this problem will be solved but until then I'm not going to post any chapters. I could write with my phone but it would drop the quality since my phone is not installed with proof reading software which help with my editing. I don't have an editor and I'm working on this novel on my own. Being a non-native english speaker myself, I would surely make a lot of mistakes while writing. (Even with the software I would do mistakes here and there. Imagine doing so without one ㅠㅠ) I hope this problem could be resolved soon. Thank you for your understanding. By then I will continue drafting.

Kim was thinking to himself while looking at his friends. Although he seems playful when he is talking to others, inside he was more mature. He thinks rationally, and act rationally. He always dreamed of becoming a researcher one day and win the Nobel Prize. He had a brilliant mind which was trapped in the wrong body, in the wrong era. If only he was somewhere else different, maybe people would become more open to him and give him chances. Every single time he displayed his geniuses no one seems to bother because none did understand.

Despite the setbacks, he doesn't really hate his life. He always has his lovely family and most trusted friends with him. They are the one who made his life interesting. Even if others didn't believe him, his family and friends always give moral support when he mentioned his dream. There are a lot of tips on the Internet, but until you try it yourself it will not work out. I'm a technician, it's easier for me to write my technical novels, according to a given "Standard", for example, for writing descriptions of software products for the system.

All clear. How to write. There are items that need to be inserted into the terms of reference. And write to yourself as much as you like.

And the novel also has its own standards, but the language there should be lively and not dry, without emotions, strict. The novel is written for readers so that they play emotions, positive or negative. I have already lost the habit of literary literature, I consider this an extra waste of my time. Facts, figures, data, this is interesting, but to me as an author, but not to the reader.

This is probably shown by such novels, where I write what interests me, the number of views from 20 to 35 thousand, the number of collections from 7 to 35.

And those novels where I write from the point of view of the reader, where there are emotions in addition to numbers, there are more than 135 thousand views and many collections up to 189! On the other hand, there are stories about the Silk Road, where dry style and emotional are combined, as this is a series of stories. There, in an amazing way, the number of views is more than 205 thousand, but only 45 collections.

A classic short story should have from 20,000 to 40,000 words. But this does not apply to our novels on DAO.

At first, I thought to start adding 45,000 more words for the Jiang Coin novel. But I see that the people read it a little. 23 thousand views and 19 collections. Maybe I should rewrite the novel? Having added new chapters, and reprint it? Or add those same 45,000 words? Or generally quickly finish in 2-3 chapters, writing 8000-9000 words? I'm not sure about that? Since the story, in principle, can come out interesting.

But the marketing chip will not work here. I should think...

And all I'm doing here to do my final course at the end of Dec. Which is why I'm still writing it anyway.
To be honest, I have almost dropped this book at end of Nov. But one of the readers asked me to proceed. Thank you. Seriously, Thank you. I don't know what I can say anymore.
In the future. I have no plan to continue this novel. If you want and you are willing to see the next story of this book. Please help me. I need at least 800-1000$ to rewrite this book from scratch.

I will use all of my possible experience in software development here and teach everyone in the university or in the school about real software development. Trust me, I don't really like how the professors/teachers teaching about code in the university as the tech was pretty deprecated. 
Yes, I know that it was required since it's a basic thing. But come on! The technology era is always changing. You need to adapt and improve. Not stuck in the same place over and over. 
Imagine that you are learning pascal then in your job you are needed to do react native. It sounds pathetic right? Yes, it is.
The programming industry is gonna be seriously competitive. Not going to lie about it, 
So yeah. My Hacking System will not only about the story itself. But about the true essence of the main character to resolve and solve the problem through coding!
