One day, as Glare was on the rooftop together with his childhood friend Claudine, they encountered a greatly unexpected phenomenon that would change his life forever.

If Chen Mo wanted to make tabletop games while drawing in players to his platform, Dou Dizhu and Mahjong would both be essential. 
However, from Chen Mo's research, other companies that focused on tabletop games did Dou Dizhu and Mahjong as well. They even included regional rules, such as using Jokers in Dou Dizhu, or Blood Mahjong.
Chen Mo thought of three improvements so far, first would be assistance provided to newer players such as tutorials, daily quests, special quests, and daily credits. Many of the other games didn't touch this point or did them horrible, so Chen Mo could spend some time to improve this.
Second would be tournaments. There were very few tournaments for tabletop games in this world, and were mostly public lobbies. Chen Mo felt that tournaments would be a nice gimmick.
Third was an equipment shop and VIP systems. There were only but a few games using a credit system. Improvements could include emojis, profile pictures, clothes, or even use credits to exchange for real life gifts.
However, these were far from enough.
The new player system might make it easier to acquire players and slightly increase player retention, store and VIP system might improve the revenue by a bit, and a tournament mode would be a differentiating point, separating itself from the other games on the market.
For tabletop games, these weren't enough to switch a large number of players over.
Therefore in order to break the loyalty the players have towards their old platform, Chen Mo needed to find something big, something that the other tabletop games didn't have.

Due to that, I was constantly bothered by the loan sharks. I hated him. I loathed him.

I was an asshole, I could only blame others for my uselessness.
Thankfully and luckily with my decent effort, I found a decent job, which was being a cashier of a convenience store.
Well, to be precise, not just a cashier but also a janitor and re-stocker all at once.
Fitting myself into society, only after I was at the bottom, I slowly realized how useless I am.
The realization came too late. Everyone has left and there's no turning back time.
I finally understand earning money, enough to survive in society was not easy at all.

Anyway, making games takes more effort and time than you think, especially for a beginner developer such as me.
It takes a total of ten years for me to develop a single game alone. Though most of the time was spent on me fixing small bugs.
Throughout that time, I was constantly asking for feedback on a website where Indie-game developers gathered.
I gained over one million supporters and among the millions, there's quite a lot of them willing to donate.
I could even use that money to live comfortably without working as a cashier anymore.
Anyway, with the feedback from my supporters, I constantly grow as a developer, whether it was a suggestion or critique, they're all useful to me.

Being devastated by the fact he didn't get to fulfill his dream, he was given a second chance. He miraculously traveled back to his primary school days.

But technology continued advancing, and in year 2030, the smartphone era came to an end. It was now the new era of virtual reality. Peach Corporation's virtual reality connection device, V-Gear, gave way to the beginning of this era. For just 20,000 dollars, any household could dive into the world of virtual reality.

The smartphone era was nothing in comparison to the VR era. Virtual reality did not just absorb the technologies of the real world, as new content developed just for the virtual world.

Among them, virtual reality games were the most popular.

Game companies didn't hesitate to invest millions or even billions of dollars into developing this new technology. As a result, they could release higher quality content than any other business in the world.

At the same time, it was the start of a war.

Due to their investments and preparedness, their games had similar quality, and none stood out as the best.

It was the beginning of a warring era.

Game companies experimented with new methods of raising their market shares, and many went bankrupt as a result. The one that put an end to this warring era was not a game company, but an AI developing company called Tobot Soft. It was with their AI program that Warlord was created.

Tobot Soft's secret lied behind a management artificial intelligence program called M.I.

Simply put, the game wasn't controlled by the company but an artificial intelligence program. Its initial development cost was huge, but the management cost was ground-breakingly small. At a time when the price of VR game programmers was soaring to the sky, the method proved to be especially efficient. A.I.s didn't need a salary.

Plus, it was easy to copy and mass produce an A.I. Hiring a thousand professional programmers took at least six months, but obtaining a thousand copy of an A.I. took only about a month.

Countless A.I.s worked to control and manage the server, and as a result, Warlord became a game that surpassed any other game in existence.

March 11th, 2035, a year after the game made its debut, the player base was well over one million. By its 4th anniversary, the number rose to over ten million, worthy of the game's title as the greatest game to ever exist.

Ten million was not a small number.

To play a VR game, one needed a VR device. Peach Corporation controlled 70 percent of the VR device market and its cheapest VR device, the Level 1 V-Gear, cost 20 thousand dollars.


 
In addition, one needed 2,599 dollars just to create a Warlord character. Upon creation, one could play the game free for 3 months, but afterwards, there was a monthly fee of 799 dollars.

In Korean standards, it cost 20 million won to buy the gaming device, another 3 million to make a character, and 800 thousand more every month.

There were ten million people who could meet such requirements.

Do you sometimes have the feeling that our mind is not the same as our self? Somehow, It belongs to us, but we don't have absolute control over it. It's like a powerful tool, which we can use to cut through the problems of life. But if we lack control, we risk cutting ourselves with negative thoughts and emotions. That's what happened to me. I cut myself nearly to suicide. 
From a young age on, there was unbearable inner pain. A pain, fueled by regrets of the past and fears of the future. I know, what problems could a 14-years old German boy have? Bad marks, mobbing, fights with school bullies, and social anxieties. A feast for the mind. Whenever I tried to change something, negative thoughts kicked in, followed by unbearable negative emotions.
The only way for me to stop this feeling? 
Tranquilizing my mind with food, games, and several other things. My biggest addiction was an MMORPG called Nostale. I played it for years, non-stop. Playing games, eating fast food, and masturbating. That was my life in a nutshell. 
Why I quit? 
A friend asked me "Who do you think we will be in 10 years?" I ignored him, but I could not ignore my mind. I knew the answer: The same person I am right now. The only difference? Alone and closer to death. That realization hurt.
From there on a voice creeped inside me. I tried to ignore this voice. It said that I am wasting my life, making no significant progress. I felt empty. I felt a certain kind of silence creeping out of that emptiness. That kind of silence that devours every joy in life.
I stopped playing. 
But life was still unpleasant. I wasn't able to enjoy real life like I enjoyed my in-game life. In movies and games, this is usually the time where motivation kicks in, a ridiculous work ethic, and a change in every aspect of your life.
Bullshit. 
Life has its own hilarious way of telling you fuck yourself. The moment I wanted to change was the moment I got lost, lost in a forest of questions.
How can I change?
Where is the energy I felt when I was playing games?
Why is it impossible for me to do the right things?
What is this force that pushes me to the ground?
Long story short: I crawled for years like a cockroach, getting squashed, shewed, and spat out by life. My only drive was to figure out the rules of life. Life could not possibly be this hell. What is the way to finally enjoy life again? So, I read hundreds of books, many of them more than twice, some more than ten times. I will spare you with the embarrassing parts and skip the pity details; after years of search, I found a way to get addicted to real life. 
How? I transformed my real life into an MMORPG. I studied the rules of this game and found my skill tree, main quests, side quests, and boundaries.  
I wasted enough time with the reading manual. It was time to start playing the best game of all time: life. The same day, I died.
Oh. How I died? I suffocated on a peanut. 
Now I'm here, stuck in this room full of emptiness, telling my story into a void of nothingness, as if it would have some effects. How long have I stuck here already? Weeks, month, years, decades? It's strange isn't it? My life? Oh! Off course how on earth will you be able to know my life! If you want to know my opinion about the life of which I'm the owner, I would say, it's complicated. Yes, it's full of suspense, thrill, adventure and yeah, the most important thing, romance. I love to play games, in my childhood, games were the only thing I cared of. I was not a good student, not at all! I am an otaku, or an anime freak! I'm Taki Suzuno. During my time, online games were very popular. And probably those changed my life forever. Most of the hours in a day, I used to spend them in either playing online VRMMORPG games or watching animes. And those who are not familiar with the word VRMMORPG, why fear? I'm here to decipher, it's Virtual Reality Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. 
        Those games are basically played using a Virtual Reality Gear or a VR device. During those days VR games were made by many companies but at the top of the leaderboard was the CaronStrap. They probably built the highest graphics game, and being a gamiomaniac, I used to purchase each and every games produced by the company. VR world was a different world as compared to our real world. VR can lead to many possibilities in occurrence of a world, particular VR game had its own world with it's own sort of rules and powers which were given to it's fellow players. I even saw some of my friends going crazy over those game's high end graphics. The developers made it look real and we could even feel what was actually going around, quite intriguing, right? It was not kept upto that only, when you were playing the game, your body will be in a sleep mode, basically the CaronStrap send EM waves to our neurons which gets numb just as the way it occurs during while we are asleep. And yeah technology went quite high, why shouldn't it be? After all it's 2120. We are no longer in the old days where only computer's first player perspective games are being played. The thing which I loved the most about VR games is that, you can make all sorts of friends from all over the globe. If you aren't even a social person, who knows the VR world can even change your personality! In short a VR world had infinite possibilities. 
        But one of the possibilities took me away from my world, I mean the real world. At one point of time in my life I forgot what real life really was. I used to get totally indulge into the game. I used to spend hours in completing levels and getting ranked at a prestigious rank. It is like a yarn of many individual threads tangled together, if you pull one string the others used to get their shapes changed, guess that's what happened to me. At certain point, I no longer was Taki; I was completely an unknown person. Frustrated, exhausted and depressed. But still couldn't resist myself from being in touch with the CaronStrap. 
        Now let us be together and find what were the possibilities which were faced by me in real world as well as the VR world. Guess we will indeed have great time in revealing the adventures which I had!

What had set this game different from others was how hard it was to capture the girls heart, each character felt like it had its own life.

The more you progress the more hard it gets as you had to work hard to keep your harem afloat.

Reading the  main quest i got, i had only one thought in his mind

while taking all the women for himself and living a harem life does sound great, it definitely has a huge backlash

one must know that the game was almost similar to realty where only you could know the result after the action.

As an eroge the game had the  tsundere, the sadist, the machoist, the kuudere and the...yandere

Dont take me wrong i have nothing aginst yanderes, in fact which man  dosent love it when a women will do anything for you and live just for you?

But when the love leads to the women activating a god-tier forbbiden magic to keep you for herself, thats when shit hits the fan.

Each of the capture targets either have immense background, power or beauty, who wont settle went just any tom, dick or harry.
