The world is no longer the same. A lot of things have changed and one of these things is the uprise of the supernatural creatures. Humans no longer dominate the world; in fact, they became slaves to those creatures. Now the world is all about vampires, werewolves and witches.

The knights who were training, noticed Commander Zamon's army and one of them called their captain who were busily training newly recruit men to become knights in the Armilia kingdom. 

"Captain Zik! Commander Zamon is here!"


Zik who was training the men heard the knight's announcement that he smiled at Commander Zamon's return

"Funny, usually he would come early"

He muttered that he hurriedly instructed the men to continue their training and went off to see Commander Zamon's return.

Commander Zamon who was riding the horse can see one figure, who excitedly was waiting for him and he knew instantly it was his loyal friend but sometimes he thinks that Zik was like his adopted son but he would never dare say it to Zik, because he would excitedly treat him more of a father figure instead of a commander. 

Knowing Zik's childhood he silently acted as a father for him. That Zik's attitude would constantly act as a child instead of being a captain, whenever he see him.

Zik who can't wait any longer ran towards Commander Zamon and saluted him 

"Commander Zamon you're back!"

Commander Zamon nodded that he led his men inside of the camp, Zik who was still standing frowned when he noticed Zamon right eye that it was patched thinking how did his commander got injured.
 But there was one peculiar carriage that it was covered with sheet got his attention, and one thing that he noticed as well, was that there were four knights holding a spear in each corner of the carriage making it more obvious that it felt dangerous, whatever's inside of the carriage. 

"Men! Prepare a cell!"

Commander Zamon commanded that they scurried to find an empty cell, and Zamon can feel his right eye itching but remained quiet because Zik would annoyingly asked how he got his injury.
As soon as the men prepared an empty cell for Regan, he removed the sheet that was covering the carriage and he can see that Regan was awake but she was in a daze making it easier for the knights to pull her toward the empty cell. 

"Men prepare to pull!"

As the knights pulled her into the cell, she shouted in pain not realizing that the arrows in her body is still intact, that the pressure of pulling the arrows into her body was very painful that they were able to manage to remove the arrows in her body, but unfortunately she was bleeding awfully but the knights didn't care at all that they left her alone, in the cell while she was bleeding exceedingly.

Commander Zamon didn't notice what his knights did because he was busy checking the daily reports. 

"Commander Zamon a physician is here to check your injury"

Zik who announced at Commander Zamon, curiously checked Regan who was lying in the cell. 

"I wonder what commander Zamon is planning to that slave"

He thought but shook his head making him more focus because he was going to lead Commander Zamon towards the headquarter of the doctors who would check his right eye. 

"Commander this way!"

And Zamon followed him while reading the status report of the men who are newly recruited at his camp. 

Regan who was bleeding closed her eyes, but because she can feel her conscious returning, it made her more aware in her situation that she tried to sit but was unable, because of the pain of her injury. 

"Where am I…. who am I?"

She asked to herself while lying down in the cold floor of the cell and instantly all her previous memories came back, when she was a kid working for her family to the point she was sold by her own father and all her suffering began, that it made her more aware what happened to her and what she did in Jefer's mansion. 

"Wait…. No…no….no!"

She cried realizing what she has done that it made her more in agony, because she has killed people and devoured their blood and flesh which made her vomit strongly in the side of the floor, in where she was lying.

"What have I done?!"

She shouted in pure sadness that she didn't care all her injury in her body, but still continued crying because she knew that she was no longer herself as to being human but to a monster who would drink human blood and devour their flesh to satisfy her hunger. 

"Why?! This is just…. Unfair…"

She whimpered in agony that she regretted everything what she did to the people, that her heart felt heavy and heartbroken because she felt that she was no longer the eighteen year old Regan who would work honestly for her family but instead she felt cold, angry and vengeful no longer the innocent girl who would dream to work in a restaurant where she would cook for the people but everything was destroyed from the moment that she sold by her family. 

 Tears flowed in her bruised face that it won't stop because she was disregarded like a trash no longer a respected person and with that night she cried all night with full of anguish and bitterness in her heart and in that night she promised to herself that she won't kill innocent people any longer. 


Zamon who was being checked by a doctor was asked by various questions, how he got his injury and if he was able to feel his right eye but to his dismay he couldn't feel his right eye any longer. That the doctor who checked him sadly reported that his right eye would no longer function. 

Hearing the report of the doctor made Zik annoyed because how then would his commander see but only his left eye can function well, seeing Zik frowned at Zamon's situation, knowing Zik's attitude Zamon patted Zik's back and encouraged him that he can still see in his left eye.

"Zik you don't have to worry, I can still see"

He pointed his left eye that Zik miserably smiled at Zamon and he excused himself wanting to vent his frustration away from Zamon. 

Zamon who saw Zik's actions sighed because sometimes he would act as a spoiled child and sometimes he would act as a good captain but because he was tired he didn't bother Zik who went away from the camp, instead Zamon went directly to his designated room and wanted to rest because he can feel his body won't last any longer if he keeps checking the reports, with that he decided to rest for the night. 

Zamon woke earlier than his usual time that he quietly dressed and prepared his armor and his sword, because he was planning to see the monster that was in the cell that he prepared, and wondered how he would tame or how to control her in a manner that she would behave in every order just like his knights. 
As he walk, he remembered what he would feed to that monster, that he bought different kinds of foods and with that he decided to observe what she would be eating. When he entered in a dark room that was filled with junks there was one cell that he specifically let his knights clean. 

Regan who was lying down sensed Zamon's presence that she didn't even bother looking at him, as he walks slowly he sees Regan's figure lying down in the floor and he can see blood was everywhere that he raised his eyebrow what just happened. 

But as he walk closer he can see her body was still bleeding that it hasn't healed and that her vomit was everywhere, that he felt disgusted just by looking at her but he pushed himself to check if she is still awake.

"Wake up!"

He shouted at her and Regan still didn't move, looking at her, he sighed because he knew he couldn't kill her because he was assigned to personally tame and train her but how then will he train her when she has the face of a human but has the strength of a monster. 

"I brought some food…"

He quietly spoke that Regan slowly raised her head to see if he as lying and she can see that there were different kinds of food in what he was holding.
And Zamon who saw her response finally released his breath in ease and he slowly laid vegetables in the floor still far away from her, but as soon he laid the vegetables she crawled so fast that she instantly grabbed the food and immediately ate what was in front of her.

"Strange it seems she can eat vegetables… let's try putting everything"

He thought, while he was still observing in what she would eat. But to his surprise she would eat anything but he can still she was not satisfied in what she has eaten. 

Regan who was quiet doesn't planned to talk to Zamon but because she was hungry she just ate whatever he would put on the floor and yet she is still not satisfied from her hunger. 

Zamon who was still curious remembered something that he hurriedly looked for a small bowl and Regan who was watching remained quiet. 

As he came back with a small bowl in his hand, she curiously looked at him wondering what he will do to the small bowl, and to her surprise he drew a small knife in his side waist and cut his arm letting his blood drop in the small bowl and Regan's seeing what he did made her drool so much that she has to cover her mouth.

"I see…"

Zamon murmured that he quietly watch Regan's actions and he slowly laid the bowl in the floor waiting for her to move. 

Regan who was watching remained in her spot that she used her both hands to cover her mouth forcefully, and she closed her eyes not wanting to see the bowl that has blood in it. 

"Never will I drink…"

She thought to herself that she turned her back at him, Zamon was amazed at her actions still doubting that she has still human conscious remaining in her but looking at her injury he quietly spoke at her

"Judging from your face, you are still hungry and it seems you need to drink this to be able to satisfy your hunger..."

Hearing him speak made her more irritated at him that she gritted her teeth

"I…don't….want…it…"

She forcefully said those words at him that he was surprise 

"It seems that there's still human in you, I was sure that you would leave your human reasoning"

Hearing him said those words at her, she glared at him angrily
"I-I… I am…h-human…"

She stammered still controlling her urge to drink the bowl in the floor

Zamon who was watching couldn't believe it but he looked at her closely that he spoke in a cold voice 

"Human who drinks blood and devour human flesh I don't recall ever doing that"

She knew that he was testing her that she wished he would leave her alone still in her heart knew that she was no longer human but in her thoughts she still wished that she is human even with her situation.

"I am human….."

She finally spoke in a clear voice showing her determination at him that he was startled at her and finally he smiled at her. 

"All right if you say so, you are indeed human by face but still in need of human blood. Meaning you are just a replica of a human being but under your skin you are still a monster and I suggest you need to drink this if you want to survive in this place"

Regan cautiously stared at him not believing his every words that he would allow her drink the blood in front of her, while listening all those insults at her, she still didn't move.

At first Zamon was reluctant in believing she is human, but remembering the events yesterday made him doubt at her, but hearing her say those words at him, he can sense her determination and looking at her eyes there is still human emotions that he immediately thought she was an innocent girl.  

In that moment he decided to regulate and tame her, to turn her back as a human person and leave her monster desire especially her hunger.

"Listen, I am here to help you and if you truly wanted to be a human I suggest you need to stop drinking human blood."

Regan rolled her eyes at him as if it was easy for her to avoid those sweet smelling blood, but she was determine to stay as a human remembering what she did in those people she quietly promised herself not to kill innocent people but there are some people who are exempted in her promise. That she would never dare to tell the commander. 

Because those are the people who gave her the pains and torture that made her like this, and that she would give them the torture that they deserve.

Zamon who was quiet run outside leaving Regan alone with the blood in her cell, that she stared it in a long time that her saliva dripped in her mouth, but she stopped herself determined to change her ways. 

Zamon came back with a live chicken in his hand, that he sliced the chicken's neck and blood started to flow in his hand and he picked the small bowl and threw his blood outside instead he exchange it with the chicken blood after finishing filling the bowl he slowly laid the bowl in the floor and ordered Regan to drink it.

"Go ahead, try drinking this one"

Regan sense of smell, detected that it does not come from a human but an animal but she was willing to see if she can satisfy her hunger that she slowly reached the bowl but still looked at Zamon cautiously.

Still he remained quiet while observing her, as she reached the bowl and slowly drank the animal blood she can feel her hunger subsiding, which gave her a relief because finally she can substitute human blood to animal's blood.

And Zamon who witness this also gave him a comfort because this would make his assignment much easier than he expected, and he can now finally start training her to become a perfect weapon to defeat monsters and to the enemies of this kingdom. 

"Finally a perfect weapon"

And with that he started planning how to control her in a way that she doesn't realize, thus his plans started forming in his head that he would attempt in restraining all her actions, and at last he smiled at her.

Regan a young eighteen girl who was sold by her family to a slave trader was sent into the Armeilia kingdom to be experimented until she dies, when she was able to escape she stumbles in one of the important people in the kingdom and it was one the youngest princess, what will happen to her when the princess has taken interest in her. 

Princess Camilla the youngest princess in the Armeilia kingdom is betrothed to the eldest prince in the kingdom of Filia, but deep in her heart, she wanted to have control over her life and to change the rules and law of Armeillia kingdom. 

And here comes the story of two girl’s stumbles together that was fated in their destiny what will now happen in the depth of their lives as they struggle the pain that has carved in their lives

Sitaram said, "If you take your life so casually, then it will affect our future. When I said "Our", I meant for everyone. Every one of us will face the trouble. We don't have any choice here. Let us consider that we are to face both the Void and that Supreme existence as our enemies, then what kind of burden it will be on us?"

Logan and others had to think over it. Each and every thoughts Sitaram revealed instilled fear within their hearts. Especially the last part. If they had to face both the Void and that Supreme existence as enemy, then that is the most terrifying situation they will be in. 

Compared to that, this Red Ranked Monster is nothing. And this competition is completely insignificant. And that bet between their boss and the Young Master Luke is worthless to speak. 

Then why are they afraid of this monster? If they are afraid of this monsters, then just like Sitaram said, how are they going to face such a terrifying existences. This is the case especially when they take their lives this easy? Compared to the horrifying experience they will have when they face those supreme existence, the strength of this monster is nothing. So why are they afraid of the pain from the attack of the tentacle of this monster?

They suddenly understood everything. They understood how grave the situation is. And they now understood where exactly they were going wrong. They understood where they need to work out in order to improve. Then I understood that in order to improve, if they had to take this pain, then they will definitely take. 

They now no longer has any hesitation. In front of the future, the felt as if this message was nothing. Suddenly their hearts became void for any fear and it was replaced with confidence. The fear has completely transform into courage. This courage was to fight this monster. This courage was to defeat the monster. This courage was to take this monster as one of the stepping stone for the greater and bright future.

"Thank you grandpa!" ,Logan said, "We understood what all mistake was all this time. We promise that we will definitely take this monster down without depending on any auxiliary powers. We will no longer stay as a coward. Even in the future, we will keep those supreme existence in our mind while facing any tough situations. If we had to take beating, if our body is completely painted red with our blood, we will never lose our courage. We will change your attitude from now onwards. This is a promise to you."

"Good." ,Sitaram took a sigh of relief and said, "But I don't want you people to say it in just words. I want assurance. I want you people to show your dedication in action."

"Action?" ,Jason asked, "How can we prove it?"

"We no longer going to play any role in this battle against the Red Ranked Monster." ,Sitaram said, "Gnan, Gutherson! Pull yourselves back. We three are no longer going to play any role in the battle against the Red Ranked Monster. It will all be up to you seven people. Are there any objections?"

"No." ,Everyone replied with absolute confidence. Sitaram could find nothing about confidence in their eyes. They became courageous and bold all of a sudden. To be honest, this is exactly what you wanted to see within their eyes. Sitaram nodded his head in agreement.

He said, "Then I would like to see you people in action without us. But don't worry. It's not that we are completely going to leave you alone to deal with this red ranked monster. We will guide you people from a fair distance. So it is good for you if you people split some part of your concentration on our command."

"Got it." ,Everyone replied in unison.

"Then go." ,Sitaram shouted in an encouragement. All this time he was blocking the attacks from the red ranked monster while giving them a Consultation. Suddenly Sitaram, Gnan and Gutherson pulled themselves back.

Arjun also took a sigh of relief. In fact, he never imagined that his grandfather would become this aggressive all of a sudden. But he knew that this is all worth it. As specially his grandfather's aggressive approach has both in the eyes of all his friends. They now started to take their lives very seriously.

ROAR!!!

The Red Ranked Monster gave a loud roar. It was completely pissed at this moment. A bunch of human ants survived this long against it's might. How could it ever take it? But then it saw that those troublesome people among their bunch has pulled themselves back. Only those weak people step forward in order to face it.

The Red Ranked Monster was surprised a bit. But then it's mild in contempt. It felt that this is the biggest joke it has ever seen in its life. Even after knowing its might, the strong people pulled back while sending those weak youngsters ahead? If it wasn't equal to saying that go and pick up the food for the Red Ranked Monster than what?

But then the Red Ranked Monster became angry. If the elders put them back and sent the youngsters, then that means, these human ants are looking down at it. Or else why would they send these weak people in order to deal with it?

ROAR!!!

The Red Ranked Monster gave another loud roar in anger. It then released Massive amount of shockwave. Since that human with the shield is no longer going to participate in this, then it could kill these bunch of human ants with just its shockwave. With this intention, the Red Ranked Monster released another massive shockwaves.

But Logan and others were well prepared. This time they didn't use any auxiliary powers in order to deal with the monster. This time they dependent on their own abilities in order to deal with it. 

The intensity of the shockwave was no less than the last time. In fact, it is even greater than the last time. The red ranked monster wanted to vent all its anger on them as they all looked down on it.

Where is soon the shockwave settle down. The dust also settled down. The Red Ranked Monster felt that it has taken care of these human ants. After all, it became very tough for them to stand still against it's mighty shockwaves. They were able to stand all was because of that human with the shield. But since that human no longer there, and with the addition of extra shockwaves in its attack this time, it was certain that it has taken down these human youngsters.

The tri-horned demon held his head in despair as his main distinct feature broke and fell to the ground, he no longer could be called a tri-horned demon, he was now a hornless demon instead…
'Just when did everything go this bad…?'
He had already received one more strike that he couldn't dodge, which made him reach his current hornless state, but that wasn't what made him worried, he no longer cared about his life anyway, he just kept staring at the battlefield as the human to his front smashed the sword he was holding into his chest.
The bodies of the 'connectors' were there, laid on the ground, just beside their protectors. Barely enough time has passed to gather enough essence for his connection to go beyond the 'suppression' and use an extent of power that he normally wasn't incapable of, yet somehow, someone used the same amount of time to take down the main circle of connectors that linked the whole network which they established for the sake of taking over this domain.
'It's really the end…'
The hornless demon simply forgot about his stupid belief that the annoying 'Lord' was playing with him at the beginning. The only explanation was that they fell deep into the scheme of that despicable human…
Calling him a pest was no longer appropriate, the situation was quite obviously unsalvageable, and this was all because of him, they were simply being played around with!
'Curse that incompetent descendant of our lineage!'
With his communication with the 'Lord' completely cut off, the only thing the hornless demon could do was find someone to blame as he grew closer to death…
'Yes, it's all his fault!'
Fighting in a base didn't come with the dangers of the 'suppression' that made him reach his useless state, just how could someone miss the opportunity to kill a lone human intruder with an army of demons of his disposal?!
Although the multitude of the army that had been in his base wasn't couldn't exactly compare to the current one, it was surely more than enough to take down that human while he could be just considered a pest before he reached this stage where he blew their plan to smithereens, wasn't it?
'May the Sovereign salvage us all!'
His head screamed that this tumor of a human needed to be disposed of, yet he could do nothing, the contingency plans of any kind that he had were all out of service with the destruction of this army's circle, even the simple open of detonation to take him down with him proved impossible thanks to his overdrawing of elements in the earlier intimidation show...
As such, all he could do was hope that the future demons who would meet that human would know well enough to take him out even at the cost of their life.
What happened in this domain was nothing but a little example of what information could do, even if that human was as weak as a bug in his old opinion, this bug now his poisonous fangs that are capable of laying destruction to their 'mini-waves'.
'However… this is not the true end, it's just the beginning…'
The hornless demon's mania finally came to an end as he closed his eyes with full trust that even such a human would still perish if he insisted on standing in the way of their great cause!

As he was laying waste to the now hornless demon, the small smile that the Elemental Blade had shown was still there on his face.
'At least he did it…'
After suffering a horrible betrayal from one who he thought was his friend, one who didn't simply betray him because of benefits but was just a talented faker all along. He couldn't help but feel refreshed as part of the pain in his heart vanished when he looked at his current circumstances…
Unlike that treacherous guy whom he trusted easily thanks to his trusting nature, this young man managed to live up to his trust that he was forced to give due to the inescapable situation, it made him remember that the world had two sides two it, there was never just good or bad on its own.
Of course, that didn't mean he would show full trust on him, he must have had his own motives behind doing this, and their ways just coincided, but at least that saved him from completely falling into the abyss of black emotions.
Looking at the hornless demon whose eyes were now closed as he seemed to be on his last breath, the Elemental Blade no longer used his Elemental Revolving attack as he was also severely overdrawn, he simply infused his sword with elements as he pierced the demon's heart.
The demon's tough skin which had endured dozens of sword strikes without being pierced to the moments made its way through this time as the demon's leftover elemental projection was no longer there. The sharpness that was increased by the Elemental Blade's fine control of an element's attribute proved more than enough to finish the job against the enemy who had completely given up.
However, the smile on the Elemental Blade's face disappeared as he noticed the fine black line that appeared on the demon's neck as well as the flow of an unseeable energy that left its body as it fell down…
Moving his head back to trace the place that energy flew to, his eyes landed on an empty spot… he was sure that energy stopped there, but it was definitely no longer there, his perceptive ability was one of his strongest points after all…
But…
Rooaaaaaaaaaah!
Before he could try to check anything, a terrible roar sounded out as a huge bodied creature seemed to have jumped into the fray of the battle, using its teeth to tear apart the first demon its eyes landed on.
"This is a…"
Disregarding that thing he noticed earlier, for the time being, the Elemental Blade took a closer look at the aggressive beast, which seemed to look like a…
"Lion?"


Doomed to die!

The young teenager faded in and out of consciousness as he was scrubbed softly in an unknown body of liquid. He was being cleaned by beings who had a peaceful air about them. He forgot he was on a ship for a while as he was in a place very similar to a garden. Nice scents hit his nose and warm sunlight bled through thick vegetation. Beside him one of the beings he could only describe as being goat-like was injecting him with a shot. 

He felt immaculate. Never had he felt so refreshed, so clean. At least not that he could remember. His lower regions no longer ached or itched. He was no longer attacked by the need to scratch every inch of his body due to the mosquitos. He raised his arm to look at it and startled the peaceful one beside him. He shielded his eyes when the sun reflected in his eyes after the alien moved away and was no longer blocking it. "Ah sorry" A deep voice which appeared to have belonged to the pink goat thing said. 

"Where am I?" The boy timidly whispered hoping to avoid any chance of being beaten. 

"Kohaku. You were picked up from your home and brought to this large ship, do you feel any discomfort?" 

"No for once actually." The alien chuckled and moved over to a table. The boy shielded his eyes from the new sunlight.

"You had many… issues when you arrived. Is it normal for your kind to be in so much pain?" The creature asked peering over his shoulder.

"Uhhh no, not usually. It wasn't too painful" He said, wanting to change the subject off his home life. 

"Hmm well you had yeast infections, a urinary tract infection, and were in the early stages of west nile. Ah lets not forget the sores in your mouth. Lucky for you though all were very treatable." 

"Thank you sir" The boy said quietly. Although he had no idea what any of those were.

The man smiled back kindly "Right! I should inform them you are ready."  He rushed off to a strange looking phone device. "He is ready and now in perfect condition." He said over the communication tool.

A strong chill hit the human and he felt strangely bare. He looked down at his legs and realized he was in his birthday suit. Not only that but he had no body hair. He could thankfully feel the now clean hair pooling in between his shoulder blades. Wait, was it past his shoulder blades? It felt much longer now. The man hung up the phone around this time and walked over as the human was holding a section of his hair in front of him. "Ahhh yes your hair needed a lot of help… we ended up lasering off all of your other hair. It will grow back, only it will be very fine. You had so much in grown hair follicles that some were becoming infected. It had to be done, sorry" He said meeting my gaze calmly.

 I ignored it since it only made me feel cleaner and focused on my head hair. "Why is it longer? How long have I been here?!" 

"We got you yesterday, your hair was always this long it was just matted and had many knots keeping it from falling to its fun length." He responded with a great calmness. "Please try not to freak out when the Ryuu come for you they tend to have short tempers." As if on cue a bunch of huge green bodies entered the room.

 A female voice rang out commanding two guards to escort the human. She ordered him to be placed with the non aggressive. He was annoyingly drug down a hall. His muscles felt completely useless and his stomach hungered greatly. On the way there the woman described how food and drink would be in the cell. The human didn't understand a word of what she was saying. 

"Wakari masu ka?" The human gave her a confused look.  She halted the escorts and bent down to eye level with the human. "Wa-ka-ri ma-su." She ordered the former question.

The human only glanced around weirdly feeling the air thicken with anger. "MUDA!" She barked and walked back the way they came. 

They made it to the same door they had just stormed out of. The green woman stepped into the room and hissed. Yellow and red flaps flared on the edges of her face like a frilled lizard. The pink being ran around the room and came back with another injection. The needle looked a lot bigger than the one he was impaled with last. The boy sank back against the guards when the goat being neared him with the syringe. The woman said something to the guards in their language. 

The human was put on his knees and his shoulders were kept in a firm grasp.  Hooves stopped in front of him and a warm hand pressed on his neck before a cold towel was wiped across it. Then the needle was put into the boy's neck. He yelped and tried to stay still not wanting to cause himself injury. 

When the doctor was finally done situating a chip into the boy's neck he retracted the needle. The boy felt exhausted all over again. He slumped tiredly between the two guards. He was barely conscious as they drug him to a section of the ship. He watched through half closed lids as he was pulled into a quiet room full of cages and cells. He saw many different species.

A couple of monkey looking people were sleeping in a pile. There were cat things grooming each other. Almost anything imaginable was here all except humans.

The farm boy has lived a rough life with the death of his  mother and his now abusive drunk father. The only light in his life was the barn hose and two mules which kept him company.
Like any other day he worked and obeyed his father hoping to avoid a beating. Well this particular night he was investigating what was tearing apart the corn he had worked so hard to grow.

"I told you that it would be a very good and helpful experience" said Blue smugly.
Although, there was no big change to my stats in general apart from allocating the 2 free stat points to my vitality.
The appalling situation was the fact that my race was undetermined.
"Blue, why the hell does it say that my Race is currently unknown?" I asked as I stared at the stat menu.
Blue did not reply as he remained silent as usual as he evaded the question and he only caused me to be more anxious.
"I'm human right?" I asked once more hoping for a positive answer.
"I told you reaching level 20 would result in a change and the star energy is one of them" said Blue as he tried to change the topic.
"Don't even try to change the topic!" I yelled in my head as I stared at his figure right before my eyes. I asked again, "I'm human right?"
"…"
"I'm human right!?" I asked again, the anger in me could not be held back anymore and it was so evident that my mind was slowly starting to blur as I thought about my current situation.
The silence was all that greeted me as I confirmed my fear.
I was no longer human!
If I was no longer human, then what was I? I wondered as my mind became blank and I remembered what happened over the course of a few months
I became the host of some alien system, lost my life as a normal person, found myself in the middle of a man hunt for life, fought an alien creature but all of that was not so bad since I was human but it seemed as if life was playing a prank on me and kept retaliating with outrageous jokes and now I was no longer human.
I was not even sure of what I was?
I had even started to think that my life could not get any worse but this happened.
What a sad and amusing life I now had.
"It's not all that bad" said Blue but to me it sounded like a faraway voice to me and I could not make out the words he said.
I found myself sinking into this emptiness as my consciousness blurred.
My body became an empty shell void of any strength and I slept. It was at this point that the fatigued I had been suppressing all the while finally came over in a flood as it forced me into my slumber.
Although I slept my whole night was plagued with nightmares of my reality but in the course of all that I was able to let go and find a common ground which I could stand on.
Since it had already happened it was impossible to change the fact that I was no longer human, as for the countless problems that would arise later?
They were problems that I would find the solutions to when I got there.

Despite the lengthy sleep I had yesterday, I did not feel refreshed but I felt the weight of an even heavier burden upon my shoulders as I opened my eyes to see the sun light pour through my window.
Standing up from my bed, I closed my eyes for a second in an attempt to gather my thoughts while taking a deep breath.
'it looks like it is time for me to start walking my own path' I thought as I thought about Grey and Enri. If the both of them kept being around me they would be drawn into all sorts of dangerous situations.
It was bad enough that my own life was so messed up, there was no way I was going to drag the both of them into this world fraught with danger and unknowns.
Exhaling, I opened my eyes as I went to the take a shower.

"Hyla, are you up?" asked Grey as he entered my room while smiling.
"Yep" I replied while trying to sound upbeat.
"Here" he said as he passed me the A grade nutritional supplement while starting at it with envious eyes.
Laughing I took the bottle, as I opened the bottle slowly.
"Come on there's no reason for you to treat me that way" he said as licked his lips.
"How am I treating you?" I asked as if I was clueless.
"humph" he turned around.
I drank from the bottle till it was almost there was only a quarter left in it as I passed him the bottle, "here, don't say I'm a bad cousin" I said as I gave him the rest
It truly was different although it was just one grade higher than the one I drunk before. My whole body became extremely comfortable, the injuries I sustained yesterday began to heal and for the first time ever I could feel it.
I was as if my mind was open and I could see what was happening inside my body though it was only a feeling I felt when I focused.
It was enough to prove that the nutritional supplements were not just for show.
'I wonder what would happen if I was to drink more of this?'
"So what are we supposed to do?" I asked him as he finished the rest of the drink with a smile.
"Coach just said we should rest" he replied with a wide smile.
"What about Enri?" I asked.
"He went to eat breakfast and we're supposed to join him" he said.
"Why didn't you start with that first?" I asked annoyed. 'He must have forgotten when he got his hands on the nutritional supplement' I thought as my stomach grumbled.
I slept after getting to the room yesterday so I had not eaten anything since I had breakfast yesterday.
But the question in my head remained the same;
'if I was no longer human, what am I?'
"We better get going" said Grey as he pulled me out of the room, "I've got plans for us today" he said with a toothy grin.

There's no such thing as too much energy. The hive understood this as one of the wolfmen slashed the throat of the hunter. The death gave the hive a surge in energy that quickly replaced the energy the hive had used to create You-Who-Are-Not-Bear and Smoky. 
As the hunter died, only one of the humans was left. The human named Useless had several deep cuts on her body and was at death's door. As another of the wolfmen went to finish her off, the spirits of the hive began an argument that would, unknown to all, change the world. 
"Let's stop the wolfmen from killing the last human." One of the spirits suddenly said. 
 "Uh…why?" asked several of the spirits. 
 "The human is no longer a threat." The spirit replied. "Let's used her!" 
 "Use her for what?" 
"Just stop the wolfmen first. If the last human died, all the talk here is for naught." 
"Okay…how do we do that?" 
"The same way the fire spirits suggested," the spirit said. "Let's send a message to their minds." 
"We're not sure we can do that." 
"So? Since when has that stopped us?" 
"…You got a point there." 
The hive concentrated on the wolfmen, trying to send a message to them. They had no idea what they were doing, so they did what they always did. They relied on their instincts and their power.
*Stop* 
To the hive's slight surprise, all the wolfmen did as told. A few of them looked around the room but all of them stopped. 
"Okay…that went surprisingly well." One of the spirits said. "What now?" 
"Let's change the human." 
"To what? Not to mention no one has said why are we are doing this in the first place?" 
"We are doing this because we want to see if we can!" the spirit said. "We know we can change wolves to wolfmen, so let's see if we can change humans to…well, wolfman." 
"But why?" a spirit complained. "We don't need to do this. We have the wolfmen and our beasts; why bother with more?" 
"There no such thing as too much protection," the spirit replied. "Besides…aren't any of you curious how far our powers could go?" 
That basically ended the argument. The hive decided to give this a shot and tried to do to the dying human what it did to the pups. The hive focused and poured the energy its energy into the human. At first, nothing happened but the hive remembered it took awhile with the pups so it continued to pour energy into the human. Still, nothing happened and the hive began to wonder if it was going to work. Then, the human started to glow. 
Just like the pups, the glowing human got brighter and brighter before it began changing. Unlike the pups, the human did not get bigger or taller, instead the changes happened to the human's body. The human's ear disappeared, and then two ears appeared on top of its head. The human's teeth got longer, and her eyes became two different colors; one turned red while the other stayed blue. The human's hair turned white and strange markings appeared on her face. However, the strangest thing has to be the tail that grew out of the human's back. 
Then the human stopped glowing and the hive knew the transformation had finished. The hive stopped pouring its energy and found to its surprise how much it had lost. The hive had probably used as much energy changing the human as it did changing all the 5 pups. Some of the spirits within the hive quickly suggested the hive not try to change any humans in the future. It's just doesn't seem to be worth it. 
Most of the hive agreed. 
The human stood up and the hive saw that it was standing up like a normal human but the tail at its back told everyone it was no longer a true human. It had became something else and the wolfmen surrounding the new human knew it. One of the wolfmen walked towards the wolf…girl. 
The wolfman began sniffing the wolfgirl and the hive noticed for the first time that the wolfgirl's body was now covered with small fur. The hive focused on the wolfgirl but found nothing else that had changed. She did not have claws on her fingers, and her face reminded that of a human. She may have changed in some ways, but in others she had reminded the same. The hive wondered why this was the case and whether they could in the future control what was changed instead of leaving it to chance. 
Then the woIfman took the wolfgirl by her hand and began to softly pull her further into the tunnels. The wolfgirl followed the wolfman in a daze and the rest of the wolfmen followed the duo. Before long, all 6 of the hybrids stood before the hive. The wolfmen stopped and the wolfgirl walked slowly towards the hive. The hive felt no fear towards the new wolfgirl but was surprised when the wolfgirl dropped to her knees. 
"What are you?" she asked in reverence. 
The hive had no answer. It didn't know what it was so it answered the only way it could. The hive poured its energy into all the wolfmen and said; 
*We are your creator.*

After Kevin could no longer see Astra, he snapped his fingers, "Status" a blue holographic screen appeared right in front of him showing his stats. He revealed an arrogant smirk when he saw his title.

He was a hero didn't that mean that people here would treat him well afterall from the experience he had, heroes were treated better. He was in cloud nine when he suddenly thought about ASTRA. That strength, the agity and that speed, he wasn't even 1% near her.
"I will be better than her" he thought to himself. Kevin brushed the dirt off his clothes and fantasised about being a great hero and being treated better and even meeting the King and building his own harem. He had completely forgotten about how he run away when he encountered the level ten magic bull that ASTRA effortlessly killed or.... ate.
Kevin set off in the direction of the nearest town and had no idea that the system that he thought was special for him were a norm for every living being in this world with the exception of unevolved ones.
After ASTRA dahed from the scene, she made sure she was far away from Kevin before stopping. Looking around, she knew that she was very far away.
[This speed, that crazy thirst for blood, that strength.... I have really become a monster huh.]
ASTRA didn't want to admit it but she was right. Turning around, she abruptly punched an ancient looking tree behind her.
*boom*the big tree was sent flying and she limply fell on the ground.
"I'm no longer human huh?"
Her head lowered and she smiled
"Huh who cares whether I'm human or not. This speed, this heightened senses. I'm absolutely amazing." ASTRA screamed as if announcing to the whole forest.
"Gee your Majesty ye you're no longer human but there's still a part of you that's human and we have to get rid of it all it's going to slow down your progress" A voice sounded in ASTRA's head. She immediately jumped  up as if she had been given the shock of her life.
"Holy shit" she cursed.

The Common Fleet Alliance emerged in the twilight of the Age of Conquest.
The events surrounding its initial formation weren't entirely clear. In a time where warfleets reigned supreme by virtue of their destructive potential, hardly any admiral restrained themselves.
The reckless genetic modification and human augmentation turned many ambitious humans into greedy monsters.
The higher their positions, the worse these negative traits became.
Those who wished to climb higher needed to become more capable than their peers, and the easiest way to distinguish themselves was to upgrade their abilities.
In such a time where selfishness became ubiquitous, no one could have imagined that a number of admirals returned to sanity.
Not only did the admirals and their closest supporters stop their descent into degeneration, they also managed to get in touch with each other.
The nations they used to serve possessed complex or hostile relations with each other. The warfleets should have fought or avoided each other. For two or more unaffiliated warfleets to converge in a single star system was unimaginable at the time!
Yet converge they did. 
In a legendary act of nobility, the admirals forswore their prior allegiances and private ambitions and banded together to form a new and unprecedented alliance.
The Common Fleet Alliance was born.
Though its name sounded boring, it encapsulated the main principles of the new organization.
It was called this way because it bound multiple warfleets and other powers to a single, common cause. The alliance would never dedicate itself to serving a single star empire no matter how great they may be at the time!
Not even the Terrans and Rubarthans impressed the Fleeters, as they came to be called
This was because the cause they fought for transcended the interests of the Greater Terran United Confederation and the New Rubarth Empire.
While these two star empires dominated human civilization during the Age of Conquest, they had not been able to stop the genocides and mass destruction taking place throughout human space.
In fact, their leaders enthusiastically took part in these acts of madness!
In the eyes of the Common Fleet Alliance, the Terrans and Rubarthans completely failed to discharge their responsibilities as the foremost powers of the human race.
A new power must come onto the stage and take over the role the self-consumed Terrans and Rubarthans abandoned.
Thus, the Common Fleet Alliance swept over human space.
During that time, every warfleet was a sovereign empire on the move. Very rarely did admirals agree to pool their strengths together. They were far too suspicious and constantly posed a threat to their 'allies' due to their limitless ambitions!
Even admirals who nominally served the same star nations might open fire against each other's fleets in an attempt to gain complete dominion!
Therefore, the main trend at the time was for warfleets to avoid each other. In any case, there were plenty of planets and star systems for them to plunder. The raiding admirals had no need to risk their most precious war assets!
Under these circumstances, the Common Fleet Alliance thrived. The enlightened admirals did not hesitate to group several warfleets together and take advantage of their superior numbers to destroy or force the surrender of many isolated warfleets.
Through these early successes, the CFA managed to build up an unstoppable momentum and swept over every other resisting nation or warfleet!
Eventually, the Age of Conquest ended and the Age of Mechs commenced.
In order to avoid the ravages that had taken place in the past, the CFA and MTA decided that human civilization had to be run in a different way.
No longer should star nations war against themselves to the point of annihilating each other.
No longer should anyone in control of the mightiest weapons of humanity be allowed to go on a power trip.
No longer must humanity be divided to the point where their external alien enemies saw hope of launching a counterattack!
The Big Two, taking advantage of their supreme power over human space, enacted a new order.
Humanity no longer divided themselves by star nations. The Big Two coerced great entities such as the Terran Confederation to vacate a portion of their sovereignty and devolve into states.
While states were still allowed to run their internal affairs as they saw fit, they were no longer able to discharge some responsibilities.
For example, the newly-formed states were not expected to defend humanity against alien threats after being robbed of their warfleets.
However, the states couldn't be left defenseless either. The CFA therefore stepped up to the plate and pledged to defend human civilization against every external enemy!
The idea sounded noble. By letting a powerful but ostensibly neutral naval organization take charge of defending humanity, no state would be able to abuse their power for destructive ends ever again.
Without warships, it was impossible for the first-rate superstates to wipe out the entire human race with their diminished strength!
Of course, plenty of concerns welled up about the new alliance that concentrated much of humanity's war-making potential.
How could the abuses of the past be prevented?
How could the CFA prevent ambitious naval officers from taking advantage of their positions of powers to pursue their own interests to the detriment of everyone else?
Various means emerged to constrain the CFA.
First, the MTA rose in power to match the CFA and keep them in check. While the MTA and CFA shared the same goal of guarding humanity, their many contradictions ensured that they would always have to act with scruples.
If any of the Big Two ever went out of control, the many states of human civilization would place their full support behind the trans-galactic organization that still stood on their side!
With such a potent threat looming over their heads, neither the CFA nor MTA dared to behave in a way that attracted the common hatred of states.
Second, the CFA extensively reformed and unified its naval culture.
Whereas the MTA emerged as a new organization that was completely free of the shackles of the past, the CFA partially bore the sins of their predecessors.
Every founding admiral and their subordinates had a lot of blood on their hands.
This guilt hung over the heads of the Fleeters and stigmatized them from the rest of humanity who developed an intense fear towards anything related to warships.
Whether deliberate or not, the CFA withdrew from the spotlight and began to isolate itself from the rest of human society.
The CFA must wash away the sins of its predecessors by guarding the human race. This was the guiding mission that sustained the organization to this day.
To staff its warships, the CFA increasingly turned to the true spaceborn clans that lived a nomadic life in space.
Unlike the humans who grew up in one of the many states, the spaceborn were much more adapted to become Fleeters.
The true spaceborn were not only born spacers, but also possessed a much higher perspective. The petty conflicts that consumed the attention of the states for centuries were nothing but playground spats to the true spaceborn.
Only the most noble spacers were qualified to become Fleeters.
While there were plenty of complaints from the states that the CFA was becoming increasingly detached from human society, the Fleeters didn't care.
Let the MTA babysit the squabbling humans.
Lieutenant Junior Grade Zonrad Reze comfortably sat behind his desk in his stateroom aboard the Karaton Dwight, a majestic Villard-class battleship.
As the flagship of the 3rd Archangel Frontier Battle Group, the Karaton Dwight was one of the most powerful warships assigned to the Komodo Star Sector and surroundings.
Ship design hadn't changed much over the years. Though the underlying technologies had changed or improved, a flag captain from the Age of Conquest would still be able to command a modern battleship without too much adjustment.
Of course, with the superhuman cognitive abilities of any senior officer, such a rapid adaptation was to be expected.
The officers of the Common Fleet Alliance were just as capable if not more than the impulsive naval officers of the past.
However, the difference was that their genes still remained human. The CFA's state-of-the-art genetic optimization treatments largely eschewed direct alien gene transplantation in order to avoid undesirable side effects.
Though the officers of the CFA no longer went mad on a massive scale, the extreme degree of competitiveness in the ranks still remained.
This was the reason why Zonrad was furrowing his brows while he held a conversation with a fellow member of the Novilon Clan through a physical projection.
"I'm nearing forty-six years old." He spoke in a dignified accent unique to his clan. "While I expected my promotion opportunities to be few and far in between, I'm nearing the end of my rope."
A more mature man sat on the opposite side of the desk. Though he was only present as a physical projection, the demeanor he exuded was vastly more substantial.
"You have no one but yourself to blame, Zonrad. I warned you that the command trajectory is the most difficult to promote yourself. How many years has it been since you have been commissioned?"
"More than two decades."
"And where has that brought you? I'm only five years older than you but I'm already a lieutenant commander!"
Zonrad sneered. "You're just a logistics officer who is good with managing supplies. You've never been stationed on a warship. Do you think I can make my clan proud by taking charge of a small supply depot in the Komodo Star Sector?"
Lieutenant Commander Victor Manta took no offense at Zonrad's tone.
"Look down on me all you want, but my future is bright, especially since I'm eligible to receive further optimization treatments. As long as you live long enough, you will slowly have more opportunities to rise up the ranks!"
Though Zonrad could easily live up to 150 years or so, it would be hard to extend his life any further without assistance from the CFA or his clan.
However, neither of them were in the habit of wasting expensive treatments on inconsequential officers.
Zonrad knew this. He also knew that his capabilities were only so-so compared to his fellow officers aboard the Karaton Dwight.
He raised his finger in a distinctive gesture, causing their comm call to pause.
"Monodwell, please display my current status."
The powerful super AI in charge of running most of the systems of Karaton Dwight responded instantly.

Though Zonrad wanted to argue with Monodwell some more, he reluctantly swallowed his frustrations.
As an inhuman, impartial super AI, Monodwell never sided with any human! Not even the admiral in charge of the Archangel Group had the power to override some of Monodwell's decisions!
