"Don't believe in quotes written white in a black background with a famous figure that you found on the internet," Ansel replied with another picture.

"I'm trying to motivate you, so you could be more energetic through life."

"Nice try, but I'm getting old and I should have been working for now. Even little sister has graduated last year."

"We're not trying to compare you with her."

"Yeah not you, but some people, and don't forget about society. This moment they may laugh at me, a 24-year-old student almost-NEET. What do you expect from me? Ansel puffed his breath, he held his boisterous laughter. Set his face into straight again. Ansel paced himself up, he was almost late. He didn't see a man with a strange costume and weapon blocked the aisle to the lecturer's office. The man was tall, on his right hand a scythe, and left a big watch.

"What the hell a cosplayer does in this place?" Ansel ducked from the weapon, "coming through."

The man swung his scythe to Ansel's feet, Ansel swerved up, and his papers flew across the aisle.

"What the f—"Ansel spat.

Strangely, he and his papers were floating. Ansel couldn't move an inch; the man dragged his scythe along, the man's big watch stood on the place. The scythe and the watch were tied with a golden chain. The man wore a big blue robe, similar to a pastor on the church, as Ansel recalled in mind.

Is it the end? Angel of death? My life was a joke after all.

The man aimed his scythe to Ansel's neck, it was freezing old. Like a kiss of death. Ansel held his breath, his chest felt excruciating pain.

I should've called my family, tell them sorry to disappoint them all these years.

"Tell me, when was the last time you see her?" the man asked, his voice was chill.

"Who, her?"

I thought he would ask "Who's your God?"

The man put his scythe closer to Ansel's neck, he could read Ansel's mind. "Don't you ever joke to god? I'm looking for a woman; she has white hair, very long hair. She has a chilly voice, something that pierces your ears. Tell me, and I'll spare your time."

The woman of his dreams, literary, not figuratively, he recalled the memory again. He tried to speak up with his trembling lips.

"I… I saw her…"

"Very well," the man clicked his finger, Ansel's butt fell first to the floor, and it was a hard landing. Ansel rubbed it, hoping that his bones didn't break. The papers flew to his lap elegantly, it was unfair. "But I won't let you escape until you found it. Take your time," Ansel's feet were tied with a golden shackle.

He peered at the big watch that the man hide behind his robe, the clock was not moving at all. The man flipped the watch; he stared at Ansel with a stern look, pissed off. Quickly, Ansel focused on his papers.

"I found it." Ansel raised the log paper from his thesis project. Behind it was a short diary that he wrote after the bizarre dream.

"Read it to me."

"April 1st 2022. A woman with white long hair, pointed at me at the street near the post office when I walked home. She was tall, wore high heels, and she can run fast. I escaped through the small road."

"19 days ago…She never came back?"

Ansel shook his head. He just lied. Actually, he preferred to hide the truth that he couldn't tell. He also wanted that man to read his mind about his dream.

"Good. Actually, she was an evil being that escaped from my dimension to your dimension. Beware of her; she might use you as a tool to make an apocalypse. Since I am a merciful god from another dimension, I will grant you an escape, to never meet her ever. You may choose: future or past?" he spoke fast like a rapper that about to smash his album on Billboard.

Ansel partly comprehend what he said, then pointed at the man, his hand still shook, "I have a question, who are you?"

"From all nicknames…most people called me Chronos, the ruler of time."

Greek mythology, Ansel was familiar with that name. He wasn't a fan of mythology, but he heard it sometimes on movies. He didn't know that the Greek deities actually existed in another dimension. Ansel overwhelmed with the truth.

"Oh." Nodding his head, Ansel pointed at his feet, "please release me first, your eminence."

"Shake your feet," Ansel did as he said, the shackles turned into dust. "Now, you may choose to go to the future or past? I have time to spend."

"Past, please. To be precise—"

"I could read your wishes and intentions easily like a book," Chronos added, "I'll take you to the time where your fate changed completely."

Ansel awed, "nice, where exactly it could be?"

Chronos didn't answer, he turned his back, and his two small pigtails flowed. He chanted some words and slashed the air with his scythe. Big portal with golden colours swirling in front of them, the swirl has some events that happened in Ansel's life.

"When this portal changed into blue, you must enter."

"Where it would take me?"

"Just trust me; it will be a pleasant time of your life."

The swirl gradually changed its hue, it was green, and then it was dark blue.

Chronos pushed Ansel, "Go! And Godspeed!"

Ansel fell down through the portal. The end of the portal was a speck of white dot, far from his sight. When he got deeper, gravity gradually got stronger. A rush of air, heartbeat fastened, Ansel felt a surge of adrenaline goes to his head. The end of the portal got bigger and bigger. And Ansel crushed hard the white layer of the portal. It was dark.

Ansel faded his train of thought; he opened the email, checking the schedule of his thesis. The schedule was so tight, in three days a revision has been done, Ansel widened his eyes, Brian was right. After all, it was a pleasant thing for him.

He left.wow did he just convinced me to be their producer and left? like what the fuck? After some minutes I was about to go home but when I stood up I bumped into a masked girl and she spilled her coffee to me.

We drink our coffee talk about random stuff,and exchanges our numbers.And now I'm heading home walking. after minutes I felt someone following meso I fastened my pace.When im near at our house I looked back and see no one behind me,I then ran into the house and quickly went in my room.i took my laptop out and hacked CCTV's near our house. I look for the cam where I felt someone following me and found it. I reviewed the video and watched,when I see myself walking in a fast pace I saw a boy behind me,he looked kinda familiar so I zoomed in the face and I'm right,it's my childhood friend Marco.i sigh and texted called him in the phone.And he picked it up.

Marco:I guess you know it's me already?
Yujin:yes and care to explain?
Marco:I saw at the internet that your here in korea so I looked for you but I don't know where you live so I go to a coffee shop to rest when I saw you with BlackPink,and your heading home walking so I decided to surprise you but you walked helle fast and I think if I ran after you,you'll also run,so I just stayed at my speed and kept following you,when I saw you where you were heading I finally know your house and get home. that's it
Yujin:do you know how worried and  nervous I am?
Marco:*chuckles*sorry I won't do it again
Yujin:meet me tomorrow,at Hann River,9 PM sharp

I hung up and go downstairs greeted by Kevin.

Yujin:where's mom?

I go to the kitchen to see my mother cooking

I call Chungha and Kevin to the dining area and we started to eat.after eating I head to my room and slept because I'm tired.

She was lucky. This time the boss could speak Mandarin. He smiled as he replied to her, "Miss, you have good judgment. I like the stud earrings as well. I actually intended to keep them for myself, but since you like them, I'll sell the pair to you. A pair of stud earrings costs 80 yuan."
80 yuan! Chi Enen bit her lip. It was about the same price as what she had expected. But she put down the stud earrings and bargained with the boss. "Boss, 80 yuan is too expensive, can it be cheaper? If it is cheaper, I'll buy it."
Li Beijue frowned, he was about to pay for her automatically. Chi Enen knew that he would spoil her plans. She quietly reached out her hands to grab hold of him, shaking her head at him quietly.

Chi Enen stopped him and made use of the opportunity to bargain with the boss. "Boss, give me a lower price. I didn't bring much money on my first trip abroad. I also want to buy some other things. If you sell it at 80 yuan, I won't be able to buy anything else."
The boss seemed to be in a difficult position. "But Miss, I have given you a very low price."
"If that's the case then never mind." Chi Enen pulled Li Beijue to walk away, a reluctant look on her face.
She had just taken a few steps when she felt that she was being held back.
She froze and looked up. The man with the cold expression tugged at her hands. He seemed to want to go back to the stall.
"Li Beijue, what are you doing?"
"Don't you like those stud earrings? Why do you walk away? I'll buy them for you." She was his woman. He would not allow her to give up a pair of 80 yuan stud earrings that she liked. 
Chi Enen stopped him, looking exasperated. "I am not leaving. I am just…"
"What?" Li Beijue had a stiff expression on his face, directing his aristocratic phoenix eyes on her. 
Chi Enen had no idea how she should explain the art of bargaining to him. 
Fortunately, at this time, the boss stopped them.
"Miss, wait. I'll give it to you at 60 yuan! 60 yuan is the lowest. If you like them, you can have them. If you still feel that it's expensive, then forget it."
Chi Enen was relieved. She pulled Li Beijue back to the booth, a smile on her face as she explained to him on the way back. "You don't understand. If they run into people who do not know how to bargain and pay according to the price that the boss quotes, they will earn more. Therefore, when one shops at places like this, never pay according to the price that the seller first quotes you. One must bargain with them. If they refuse to give in, pretend to walk away. The boss will usually reduce the price in order to sell their goods."
Li Beijue's heart ached as he listened to her while she shared her bargaining techniques.
What kind of life had she lived in the past few years and why did she know so much? He preferred her to know nothing than to know everything.
Chi Enen did not know what was on his mind. She paid 60 yuan to the boss, feeling satisfied with the stud earrings that she just bought.
Anxin loved simple accessories. This pair of pearl stud earrings was just nice. She would definitely love it.
After completing her biggest task today, Chi Enen felt much more relaxed. She pulled the man next to her to continue with her shopping, feeling more at ease.
There was something very good about the night market and there was everything that one needed. 
There was food, drinks and fun. As long as one could think of it, there was nothing that the night market did not have.
Chi Enen had lots of fun shopping, eating and drinking. She also bought a lot of interesting stuff.
"What is that?"
Just when she was about to call it a day, she saw a group of people who were gathered in front of her. They seemed as if they were snatching up something good. Her eyes lit up, as she pulled Li Beijue to run toward that direction. "Li Beijue, let's go and take a look."

Laurie sat at her desk as she typed away. She was just another office pet. She groaned.

"Stop groaning! He'll see you" A woman across from her whispers in a British accent.

Laurie rolls her eyes. "I know..." She continues to type.

Suddenly a man, with silver short hair, walks in. He wore a suit that was a blue an red combo. 

"Morning ladies!" He says as he walks past them and into his huge office.

Laurie looks over at them woman. She mouths the words. "Was that him?"

The woman nods. "Morning, Mr. Vega" She stands as she grabs some folders. She gestures for Laurie to stand. 

"Oh!" Laurie quickly stands up and walks over to her.

Mr. Vega walks over to them. "What do we have today? Is is Chanel? Do I have to remind them that without ME they would never be where they are today?" He flips his head, making his hair move to the side. "Well?" He pucks out his lips as he waves his hand.

"Well no. It's your new assistant." The woman moves a little away to show Laurie.

"Hello Mr. Vega. So nice to finally meet you" Laurie smiles.

Vega looks her up and down. "Turn" 

Laurie gets startled. "I'm sorry?" She laughs a little while being nervous.

"Turn." He waves his hand. "Like turn around?" he looks over at his assistant. "You could've found me one that was actually smart this time?" He rolls his eyes.

"Oh. Okay...." Laurie turns. "There.." She looks over at the woman.

"Hmm" Vega walks around her, pushing the other woman out of the way. He puts his hand to his chin. "You have a nice figure..." He flicks his fingers. Suddenly two men come out of no where and hand him some measuring tape. "Thank you" He flicks again and they rush away. "What size are you?" He asks as he puts the tape around her waist. 

Laurie swallows hard. "I'm a size medium"

"I mean number honey." He bites his lip as he looks at the number on the tape. "Ahh! A size 30! Just perfect!" He throws the tape at the woman. "Mary be a doll an put that up." He smiles big. "As for you Miss Lauriee you are fired!" He jumps up an down.

Laurie's eyes widen. "What!"

He laughs. "I'm firing you because you don't fit this job! She does" He points to Mary. 

Mary cries a little as she walks away.

"I don't get it?" Laurie raises her brow.

"You aren't going to make it in this world by doing office jobs!" He puts his arm around her. "Walk with me" Without her answering him, he pulls her as he walks.

Laurie quickly walks with him, confused.

"I see something in you" He stops to shut his office doors. "I can tell you that you are something more than a "office girl". He quotes. 

Laurie smiles a little, still not understanding him.

"Sit" He sits her down in the chair in front of his desk. He leans on his desk. "Listen.." he stops. "I need to know something..." 

Laurie nods. "Anything"

He smiles. "Have you ever modeled for anyone?" He crosses his arms.

Laurie laughs. "Um no! I wish though."

He smiles big. "Good good." He hurries an grabs some papers off his desk. "I know their here somewhere..." He throws papers off his desk, flying into the air. "AH! YES!" He holds up a paper. "I'm going to ask you something.." He goes back to leaning on his desk. 

Laurie nods. 

"I need to know if you would ever concerned a modeling career?" He holds out the paper. "If you do than all you have to do is sign here and you'll be a model by tomorrow! But if you decline than leave my building and never return" He flips his hair. "So what's it going to be?"

Laurie grabs the paper an looks at it. "50 grand a year!" She jumps out of chair with excitement. 

Vega smiles big. "I knew you would love it!"

Laurie grabs a pen and begins to sigh.

"After that we can go over your trip to Paris" He goes to sit down in his chair.

She stops, almost finishing writing her name. "Paris?" She looks at him.

"Oh I know! I wish they would let us go to Japan but noooo we have to cut back! Idiots!" He rubs his head. 

Laurie sighs. "I can't..." She places the paper on his desk. "I'm sorry but I can't do it...I have a daughter. I can't leave her alone." 

He sighs as he stands. "Than leave. I can't have you working here if you are going to waste your perfect body" 

Laurie nods. "Understood." As she begins to walk out he runs to the door, blocking her path.

"You can't really be walking away from me! MR. VEGA!" He gets on his knees. "Please! Oh please! Just sigh it!"

"I told you I can't. I have a little girl. I can't leave her alone." Laurie pushes him aside.

"Fine!" He blurts out. 

She stops to look at him.

"I'll pay for you and your daughter to fly there! Just be my model! I need a model like you!" He begs her. 

Laurie smiles. "I can do that." 

He stands. "Good! I was beginning to give up an let you go." He turns around, making his hair flip, as he walk to his desk. "Just finish signing these." He hands her the paper an pen.

Laurie takes them. 

                                                                 After Work(Home)

Laurie walks in to find Ryan asleep on the floor, surrounded by blankets. 

The babysitter rushes to the door. "She just went down. Bye!" he slams the door shut as he makes his exit.

As the door slammed, Ryan awoke. 

"Mommy?" Ryan sat up, rubbing her eyes. 

Laurie sat next to her. "Hi honey" She kisses her forehead.

Ryan smiles. "I missed you" She laid her head on her moms shoulder. 

Laurie rubs her head. "Me too" She pulls out her phone, from her purse. She dials a number. It rings. 

"Hello?" A mans voice speaks on the other end.

She smiles. "Hey. Its me. Yeah I know. I'm sorry for not calling sooner. Anyways do you want to hang out for a bit?" She bites her lip. "You know just to have fun?" 

"Sure. I would love to. Be there soon." He hangs up.

Laurie blushes a little. "Yes!"

"Whose coming over?" Ryan sits up.

Laurie smiles at her. "Jeremy." 

"Oh. Okay." Ryan stands. "I'll be asleeeeeee-" she suddenly dozes off, laying in her moms lap.

Laurie smiles. "Night." she picks her up an takes her to her room.


                                              Monday Night(9:06 p.m)

Laurie and Jeremy laid on the ground naked. The blanket covering their bodies. 

"I didn't know a woman could do that!" He said taking a deep breath.

Laurie hit him. "Oh shut it!" She laughed at him. 

He turned to her. "So tell me" 

She turns to face him.

"How does a beautiful woman like you still be single?" He puts a piece of hair behind her ear.

Laurie smiles. "I guess I'm just bad luck. I don't know either." She sits up.

"Hey hey. I didn't mean to upset you." He sits up next to her. "I'm sorry"

She shrugs. "Its alright. I know I'm bad with men." She laughs. "But anyways I'm thirsty. Could you get me something to drink?" 

He smiles. "Yes" he kisses her cheek an goes off to the kitchen. 

Laurie stares at his butt until its no where in site. "Hmm" She looks over at his pants. "For a small guy he wears very large pants." She laughs as she picks his pants up. Suddenly something falls out of one of the pockets. "Huh?" She picks it up. Her eyes widen. Her face turns red. A huge diamond ring was in her hand. "Married!" She quickly stood up. 

He walked back with some soda. "All I could find was this" He smiles at her but quickly notices her face. "You alright?"

She throws it at him. "Married!? Really?" She starts to put her clothes on. "I knew I always was bad with guys." Tears started to run down her face.

"Hey hey. I'm not married." He tried to calm her down but it didn't work. "Laurie!" He yelled.

She quickly calmed down. "What?"

"I'm not married! This..." he picks up the ring. "Is my mothers ring. I always keep it with me where ever I go. I'm not married. Plus why would I wear a woman's ring" He chuckles up a little bit.

Laurie grabs the ring to examine it. "Oh..." The name "Kitty Mine" was on the inside of the ring. "I'm so sorry" She hands it to him. "God I'm an idiot" 

He laughs. "It's alright. It's not the first time a girls went crazy thinking I was married."

She looks at him. "Shut it!" She hits his arm as they both laugh.

"But I promise you aren't an idiot. I'm one. I should have taken it out." he puts the ring back in his pocket. "So stop calling yourself that."

She nods. "Alright." 

They kiss.

* Well hello to all my readers (probably none) this is a story made for fun. She is not a serious thing .... I ran out of good stories and fanfics so I decided to create mine.
I will explain some things in this chapter and the rest will be explained in the story.
The Protagonist is from a universe created by me, something like a percy Jackson with random gods and the protagonist was one of them ... good until he was sealed.
He will not be op from the beginning .. I will try to increase his power levels along with the destructive capacity of the enemies.
The protagonist's appearance is that of the cover and the story will take place in various worlds, dimensions, planets and everything else .. I would vote but nobody will vote because nobody will see a random fan-fic ... I think.
It won't be a harem because I don't have the mental and physical capacity to do that.
I am sure that at least one chapter will be released a week (at least)

After all the fuss, they arrange themselves in an orderly manner. Kai sits next to Cheng and Yue sits next to Chunxi. They face each other.
   "Why the hell is it you??" Xi frowns "I'm the one who is supposed to say that!!" Cheng replies back. "If I knew it was you, I'd have never visited!!" Xi says with disappointment. "Same here!! I'm leaving" Cheng stands up and starts walking away from the room. Yue signals Kai to stop him. Kai runs after him. "Cheng.... Cheng..." Kai runs very fast to catch him. His breathing was so fast. Cheng stops in the midway which made Kai bumps onto him. 
   "How can you leave like that??" Kai shouts at him. "I don't like her!!" Cheng yells.
 (In the room)
  "Why you don't like him? He's such a good guy!!" Yue tries to explain to Xi. "Ha! Really? You marry him then!! I don't care!" "Sis... Tell me the reason for you to hate him!!" Yue begs her.
 "Okay! You asked for it!" Xi replies.
(Flashback)
 (5 hours ago in the mall)
   "I can't believe someone will even buy a dress for their blind date!!" Xi's friend Jun replies. "I know right!! My parents want me to look beautiful in front of a stranger! That's so stupid." Xi frowns. Jun bangs on Xi's arms as she was searching for a dress. "What's wrong?" "Look at the guy right there know!!" Jun points at Cheng whose searching for dress as well. "He looks like an idol isn't he??" Jun drools over him.
  "Cheng... Look at those girls know!!" Cheng's friend Ri says to him. "Look at the one girl who is not even blinking looking at you! Her eyes are freezed" Ri chuckles. "Should we tease them a bit?" Cheng asks Ri. "Not here! I bet they will follow us wherever we go so...." Ri whispers something in Cheng's ears. "Good! Let's go!" They both started walking and eventually leaves the shop. "Let's go!!!" Jun pulls Xi's arms and leaves too.
   "What are you doing Jun??" "Gonna follow them" Jun replies enthusiastically. "Why?" Xi asks. "Because they are hot!!" "I don't think so!" Chunxi smirks. "Tell me the real reason for you to follow them!!" Xi asks. "I have seen that guy somewhere!!" Jun replies. "Which one? Tall or short?" Xi asks. "Short one!! (Ri)"
(Cheng is taller than Ri and Kai)
  "Okay! He's cute in fact! Never mind, I'll wait in the park. Find me there!" Xi says and leaves to the park near the mall. She finds a good spot and sits in the bench. "Earphones...~" She mumbles and takes her earphones and phone out and plays some music. Xi dozes off like that. 
  Boy 1: Aye! Look at that pretty girl
  Boy 2: let's do something man.
  Boy 1: should we?? (Thinks)
  Boy 2: come on...
They both go near Xi and starts sexually harassing her. "Where did Ri go??" Cheng searches for Ri in the same park. He moves his head from left to right and sees Xi being harassed by two men. She was soo asleep that she didn't notice what's going on. Cheng runs towards the men and starts beating them, he kicks them in their ball. The both mens started feeling powerless and gives up eventually. "Don't ever come back here again!!" Cheng yells at them. They both runs away without turning back.
   Cheng kneels down in for of Xi to check whether she has got any hurt or injury. He moves his face closer to Xi to check. "Looks like she hasn't got any injury!!" Cheng breathes in relief. Xi finally started moving her body as she wakes up from her sleep. She opens her eyes and sees Cheng's face "Who are you??" She gets startled and gets up from the bench. "Were you....harassing me??" Xi shouts and suddenly she feels a neck pain. She almost faints but Cheng catches her before she could fall. With anger Xi gets up from his arms and slaps him. "Don't dare to touch me!!!" Xi yells and leaves. 
   "As if I'd love to!" Cheng smirks. "What??" Xi goes near him and raise her hand again but Cheng gets hold of it. "I don't ever want to see you again! Ever!!!" Cheng says as he leaves her fist and starts walking out of the park. "This guy...!!" Xi mumbles in the middle of nowhere.
  (Flashback ends)
  "So.. He harassed you in the park??" Yue asks. Xi nods with disbelief. "That's funny!!" Yue starts laughing very badly. "What do you mean by funny??" "How can someone even harass a girl in front of everyone in the park!!? He's well educated...!!" Yue quotes. "So... What should I do now??" Xi frowns.
  (Kai and Cheng in the balcony)
 "Tell her what happened! That's it." Kai advices to Cheng. "Misunderstanding is the biggest enemy of mankind!" Kai quotes. "Okay! Let's go back!" Cheng says and they go back to the room. Kai and Yue leaves the room to give them some space. "Hope they get together!" Yue Excitingly says. "I wish the same!" Kai gives a back hug to Yue as they watch the bright moon from outside the restaurant. "Let's stay like this!!" Kai gives a tight back hug. "Forever!" Yue replies.

"Aww!! Don't they look cute Mao?" Ato, a young girl deity ask Mao, a young boy deity. "Yea Ato! They do!" The deity adores Kai and Yue from above. "ATO!! MAO!!" The head God yells at them back. They both run to him. "Why didn't Qi and Ying didn't forget their past??" The head yells at them. "Head... That is... We accidentally left the pendant below. Qi should wear the pendant in Ying's neck until then they'll remember everything...." Mao replies in fear. "Head... There is one problem with it...!!" Ato continues. "Looks like our rivals have sent two evil deities below in human form to achieve the pendant and gain the 37 virtual powers... So..." "Both of you go below and find the necklace before the evils could attain it!!! It's my order!" The head orders Ato and Mao.
  "I'll attain the pendant no matter what happens!!" Sou and Chunxi thinks.
