The other two buildings sank, and the screen zoomed in to the one he selected. It's as if he's entering the lobby. Eight doors appeared for him to choose from, with each door bearing the letters/symbol of LGBTQIA+.

Johan stopped responding and just read through the funny conversations, only responding from time to time. This people were quirky and seemed comfortable with each other to throw insults and dirty jokes.

Lu Shu continued to search in the space ring. It felt really awesome to be able to open the treasure. Regardless of whether it was useful or not, it was a profit as long as it was found.
He found an exquisite handbag, Lu Shu was such a black hole that he couldn't recognise what brand the handbag is. He decisively searched the treasure box for items, and it was full of items that he couldn't recognise. There were red and blue copies and even items that had a photo of Anthony Smith on it.
Lu Shu didn't need all of those. Instead, there was a bank card with English words on it. It made Lu Shu's eyes sparkled. He lifted his head and asked, "Do you know the password to this card?"
Lu Xiaoyu crossed her legs and sat on her bed, she tilted her head and thought for a moment, "I do, but from what I saw from the memory fragments, there is no money in this card… He transferred the money to another online account. I did not get the related information from his memory fragments."
Lu Shu was slightly disappointed. He finally managed to find a card but it didn't have any money. The opponent was a Class B tycoon, and he was definitely very rich, but the biggest part of it couldn't be found.
However, even when the card has money, Lu Shu won't dare to take it. Who knows whether there would be anyone checking on the transactions for this card?
"Xiaoyu. From his memory, how did he feel about this card? Is it safe?" Lu Shu lifted his head and asked. Since he had something extra, it would be a waste if he didn't use it.

"Is this a global website?" Lu Shu was suspicious about this. Otherwise, why was there a webpage with so many words?

Ting opened his system and went to the shop. He went through the shop and found some interesting stuff.

He could buy some defense mechanisms that will automatically protect him if he had been traced. He could even buy something that will assist him in breaking through firewalls, unfortunately, this was also a one time use.

However, they would be very useful for him in the near future. The good part was that it wasn't too expensive, however, it also didn't come cheap. Both cost 500 Credits for one use. Once you buy one it would be stored in the system and all he needed to do was to go to his system and use it.

However, that wasn't the only thing that was intriguing. What he missed the first time when he first got his system was that the system could also be upgraded. However, it had a pretty hefty price tag, upgrade the system level by one.

What he learned from the description of the system upgrade was that his systems level was level 0, and it didn't show up until he upgraded his system level. Fortunately, Ting decided to explore the shop. Otherwise, he wouldn't know that he could upgrade his system.

The description of the system upgrade didn't say what it would add when it upgraded, however, using his game knowledge, if you upgrade something, it will get better stats. Ting used this way of think to think of countless things that might be added.

Unfortunately, Ting could only stare at the price tag as it costs a whopping 10, 000 SC. Ting could only wait for the time he saves up enough to upgrade his system.

"I guess I need to save up enough to upgrade my system." Ting thought as he opened up his missions menu and was eager to look for missions that gave a decent sum of System Credits.

Oh, this one is pretty good.

Ting accepted the mission. Since Ting decided to take the mission he also went to enter the learning dimension to take the Hacking course. When he arrived in the learning dimension, he went to the interface on the table and searched for the course on hacking.

He found the advanced hacking course and found out that it cost 1000 System Credits. He lightly bit his lower lip as he chose to enroll into the course.

After a couple of days, he finished the Advanced Hacking course. What he learned was to efficiently break through firewalls and how to protect himself if he gets compromised, and many other skills.

"Wait a minute, it didn't say it had to work. Maybe all I need to do is to create a program that will look like an antivirus program but, will actually only create a backdoor to their computers." Ting had a realization, a moment of genius flashed before him. "This won't even take a few weeks. I could finish it in a couple of days.

After a couple of days, six to be exact. It took longer for him to finish because he wanted his anti-virus to look good so people would think it was a legit service. He took a beginner graphical user interface course, and after that, he took the Intermediate GUI course. This alone cost him 1500 System Credits.

Ting's heart was kinda bleeding when he thought about it but when he thought of the beautiful UI (User Interface) he has now for his anti-virus.

His anti-virus UI theme was tones of blue. There was a scan button that scanned their files for any malicious files. However, it actually didn't do anything other than scanning their files. Even if it detected something malicious. It would do absolutely nothing.

Ting thought that if he creates a better antivirus software in the future he would make it the best antivirus to date.

The software has an option on making an account to help track when they last scanned their files. They had to input an email and a password.

The reason why Ting had an option to create an account is that he could store these passwords and emails. Many people usually use the same password for almost everything.  Ting will take advantage of this and if he needs to he could steal some information about people if he enters their email accounts and other sites accounts.

Maybe he could steal and sell League of Legends accounts if they have the same password.

Ting went online and created a website for his new anti-virus. he called it 'Sleeping Bears Anti Virus'. It took him a couple of hours to add in fake information onto the website.

On the website, he put a relatively large download button. Finally, he added some nice background music onto the site. The music played was a nice and relaxing tune just like sitting under a tree feeling the nice and cool breeze on a hot day.

It was just like Ting happily stealing information and creating backdoors on people's computers just like the swift and cool breeze.

Meanwhile, unsuspecting victims visited the 'Sleeping Bears Antivirus' website. They read some information on the site and wanted to download this new software. Some smarter people decided to take a 'wait and see' approach to this new software.

These people were those who had lucked out that they hadn't downloaded the antivirus, otherwise they would have had their computers infected and have a backdoor.

Ting thought that he needed some money and decided that to be less suspicious to his mom about where the money appeared from. Because money does not just grow on trees.

Ting thought of many ideas and decided to create a small company so he could at least have an excuse of where the money he got comes from.

"Let's call this company 'PenguinGames'. the company would be about games for now and involve more things in the future.

Since the release of the sexually explicit video of Suzie Jones and the deceased, two days ago, the entire city has been in furor. 

Yes, that was the revelation!
When the video was first released, within 25 minutes, there were 3 million views.

 Metropolitan City has a population of  2.7 million people. The website where the pictures were posted earlier that day, had been shut down that fateful night just before 10pm.

 The website owners were accused by a governing body for stealing private information and exposing victim to cyber bullying. Though, it was clear that the website owners were not really to be blamed, because someone somewhere hacked the website and did what they did. 

 They were closed down and given a strong caution, probably to discourage other website owners and website content creators from breaking privacy codes.


 However, before anything else could be done, all other major websites had been hacked and the video posted everywhere. It was a 20 minutes video of Suzie Jones and her lover in one hell of a passionate moment, humping like rabbits on heat. 

 It appears they were both aware of the video recording because they both confidently faced the camera. A lot of people believe that the couple might have recorded it themselves for their own personal use. This has been trending ever since and has become a hot topic for debate all over.

 People took to social media making memes and GIFs of the incident. Others took active part in slut-shaming Suzie.
 Women's advocacy groups condemned the act but sympathized with Suzie as a victim and waged war against those slut-shaming the poor soul.
 This revelation did nothing to solve the problem. It just fuelled more gossip and tarnished the image of the Jones. The few people who didnt believe at first, when the pictures were released now believed that everything was the real truth. It was really Suzie Jones in the video. 


 Some said Suzie was the devil's incarnate trying to defame her dad with her atrocious acts and that Martin Jones knew nothing about the relationship between the two.
 Some pointed fingers at Martin Jones calling him a liar and accusing him of encouraging her daughter. The Jones haven't made any statements about the video though it was declared legit by some agencies.


Most people were disappointed. They assumed that the revelation would be something concrete to spill the truth concerning, Martin Jones shooting and the alleged relationship. The video only confirmed what the photos displayed.


As a fellow woman, I felt embarrassed and sorry for the young lady. I didn't meet her, not even once when her father was my patient. I concluded from the photos and videos that she couldn't really be a terrible person. She was just a young woman who was in love and had raging hormones and womanly needs. Society judged her harshly not even caring that she may already be having a hard time having lost her loved one.

 No one ever called her partner horrible names (maybe because it wouldn't matter because he was dead). She was multiple times described as a whore. People sat on TV and discussed her life, judging her actions and drawing conclusions as if they lived perfect, holy lives. Hypocrites! 




Reginald has been very busy and distant this few days. I want to be near him to support him but he had to travel all of a sudden to the capital and I couldn't leave my work to tag along. 

He's not told me anything new but I feel there's a lot he has to care of. He was summoned to the Capital by the Vice President.  I hope there's no trouble ahead for him.

 He can't be blamed for what goes on in the city. Governing the city is not his duty alone. It's the council as a whole. I'm expecting him back today and I intend on surprising him. 

I'm currently at his mansion without his knowledge. I don't cook as good as Ella does but I've managed to personally whip some nice dish for him while sending the housecook away.

In about 20 minutes, I see from the large paned windows, his white SUV  entering the large compound. Josh, his driver alights and opens the door for his master.

  Reginald steps out looking as charming as ever. On impulse, I lick my lips and blush. My heart begins to drum loudly in my chest like I'm running a marathon and I'm left contemplating whether I should go and meet him or hide till he comes in. 

Before I could think through what I really want to do, I'm running through the doors towards him. 

The moment he sees me, the look on his face is priceless. He has the largest boyish grin and his white teeth shimmers in the afternoon sun. 

I run and jump into his open arms and inhale his manly scent mixed with his cologne like a drug. We remain like that for about 2 minutes and when we finally let go. He kisses me on the forehead, and on my nose , cheeks and lips.

Reginald opens up to me about his trip to the capital. 

It's an election year and the Vice President would be running for the office of the President. It was obvious some months back that if he was to choose a running mate it was going to be Martin Jones for he had the love of the people and a lot of influences which would be good for him( The Vice President). 

However, with what is going on, the opportunity must pass. Reginald was summoned because the Vice President wants to make him his running mate and officially announce it to the general public before the end of the month. 

He wanted him to put "his house in order" by getting rid of anything in his life that can negatively affect their campaign. He wanted the news of the serial killings that have not fully gone public to be hushed and killer found and killed. 
He wanted Reginald to do everything on his side to increase their chances of winning the elections even to the extent of removing Martin Jones from his position on the council if the people didn't want him anymore. 

That is very heartless, I think, as Reginald explains to me. He is in a dilemma. Martin Jones is a close friend and his political ambitions were exactly what was now being offered to him. He hated how he felt about it. It looked like he would be seen as traitor by Honourable Martin Jones if he accepted the "running mate opportunity".


Then he told me something. Something he couldn't fully reveal to me yet but he hinted that, there was a cover-up by some members of the council to protect the interest of a fellow member, the same Martin Jones. He said he didn't know much about it until recently and he couldn't do much about it till things spiralled out of control and now the same people that gave Martin Jones ideas and helped with the cover-up want to kick him out of the council. They are urging him to resign over his daughter's conduct or face the consequences.

Sandra just called her favorite caterer and she was ecstatic to know that the 30 person capacity function room was vacant the whole day on Friday. She immediately booked it for John and Catherine's wedding. She was browsing the caterer's website for wedding menu, she already has chosen menu # 5 as they contain all her favorite dishes.

Now she was planning to hire the same decorating team that decorates her brother's wedding venue last month. There are many types of theme that she was currently perusing on their website. She was actually having a good time planning John's wedding event...but there is something wrong about all this....hmmm? What could it be?

Then she realized that she hadn't shared or even ask the bride's opinion! She hadn't think about it for even a few seconds. That's right! She already knew what to do.

She reached for her phone and called Catherine.

"Hello...S-Sandra?"

"Yes dear, remember me? It's me yours truly."

"How are you?" asked Catherine.

"I'm fine dear...Can we meet here in Makati City?"

"Why?"

"Because John asks my help for securing a venue for the wedding party reception for this coming Friday. I already secured the venue. But I haven't chosen the menu and the decoration theme yet. I want to see you today so that we can discuss the menu and the decoration. Can you please see me? so that we can conclude the details. I'm so excited about your wedding, girl!" Sandra continues gushing.

Catherine was gone silent for a few minutes.

"Hey, Catherine are you still there?

"Yes am still here, but John didn't mention me about the wedding reception..."

"Ouch!" Sandra bit her lip. OMG! Is John planning to make the wedding reception a surprise for her bride? Dang! She and her loud mouth! What to do?

A few more minutes of silence ensued.

"Hello...Sandra, what happened? Are you still there?" asked Catherine.

"Yes am still here. OMG! Catherine, am so dead!" Sandra exclaimed.

"Why? What is wrong?"

"I guess I made a big mistake. I think John didn't tell you about the wedding reception because he intended it to be a surprise for you! Oh my God, me and my big mouth! What to do? John will kill me!"

Catherine laughed on the other end. "Hey don't worry so much about it. I won't tell him promised."

Sandra shrieked in happiness and relief. "Thank God! Wheewww! I'm saved! So, shall we meet later? what time your work will end? I have a car, I can drive and get you there. Where is your current location dear?"

"I'm going out at 5:00 PM in the afternoon. Marigold Hotel Cavite City. But I can ride a bus, you don't have to waste your time driving all the way here. Let's just meet in Makati City. I will just call you when am already there," suggested Catherine.

"No! I will drive all the way to Cavite City to get you. I miss driving outside the city. It would be nice to drive along the countryside and coastal area. I will be enjoying my ride for sure so don't worry about it."

"You sure?"

"Yes, 100% sure! See yeah later Catherine! Bye!"

"Bye Sandra and thank you for the help!"

"Don't mention it, my pleasure dear! See yeah...."

The line went dead.

Sandra still has 3 hours to spare before she will drive all the way to Cavite City. She will have her beauty rest first.

Catherine stared at her iPhone. A smiled curled up in her mouth. She was so lucky to have a husband like John who would take care of everything for her. She didn't know about the wedding reception, maybe he meant it to be a surprise party for her but Sandra disclosed it to her accidentally. She smiled broadly. She was excited to see the venue! Just thinking about it excites her!

She was looking forward to meeting Sandra later.

Three hours more and she will be out.

She received a text message from John.

"Hi, love...I want to meet you here tonight in my place. I will have Ramon fetched you later. Okay?"

"Sorry, not tonight John. I'm going to meet a friend later after am finish with my work here."

"Huh? Lady or guy friend?" he asked curiously.

Catherine smiled. "A lady friend."

"Okay. So, see you tomorrow instead?"

"Yes. Talk to you later, John. Back to work. I love you so much! Mwuahhh! byee!" she put her phone back in her pants pocket and resumed distributing essentials in all the rooms on the 4rth floor.

John stared at his phone, his brows furrowed. Who is Catherine's lady friend that she is going to meet later after work? How important this lady friend is?

He called Allan.

"Yes, Sir?"

"I want you to check who is the person Catherine is going to meet after she goes out of work. Report to me where are they going, follow them wherever they may go."

"Copy Sir!" answered Allan.

He ended his call.

It's just a lady friend, he knows that. He was just curious. He was getting a bit paranoid. He wants the wedding to get over soon so that he can finally call Catherine his legal wife.

Catherine's shift finally ended, she sat down on the sofa of the hotel's lobby waiting for Sandra who called her earlier that she was on her way and will arrive at the hotel more or less fifteen minutes from now.

She swipes at her phone and texted John..."Miss you! Love you!"

She smiled while sending the message to him. They indeed come a long way together starting in the village where they first meet all the way into the city. John pursued her and within the next 3 days, they will be officially getting married. It's just sad that her mother disapproves of the marriage. But she was hoping that after the wedding her mother can finally learn to accept John as her son in law.

Before the sadness can fully flood her entire face, her phone rings, signaling of an incoming call. It's Sandra! She's already here!

She rose to her feet and sauntered towards the entrance of the hotel. She saw Sandra waving inside her Baic M20 maple red colored seven seater car.

Catherine strolled towards the car smiling at the older woman. She slid into the front seat.

"Hello Sandra, nice seeing you again!"

"Hi, Catherine...you look pretty as always! Let's go---?"

"Okay," she replied.

Before Sandra revive the engine to start the car, she gave her tablet to Catherine and opened the venue's website and the menu to choose from, including the decoration theme's website.

"While we're traveling, you can check out the menu and the wedding theme of the reception. I already secured the venue. So we have to focus on the menu and the theme. If you already have chosen the theme and the menu we will be able to settle everything for Friday's reception."

Sandra started the engine and was now navigating her car smoothly into the highway.

Allan was following them from behind on board his motorcycle.
