Sam Gribley: Sam is the main character in My Side of the
Mountain. He is a twelve-year-old boy who seeks a different kind
of life than the one he and his family live in New York City. He
loves nature and wants to live in the wilderness, away from other
people and material possessions. He leaves his family, intending
to make a home among the trees, the birds, and the animals that
populate the mountain. It is clear that he is a good researcher; 
he has a tremendous knowledge of the land. To survive, he refers
again and again to information he has read in books. In addition
to knowing which plants and vegetables are edible and which
ones can be put to other uses, Sam has a natural ability to
understand wildlife. 
Sam's independent spirit thrives on adventure. He trains a
falcon, makes a home inside a tree trunk, and cooks delicious
meals of fish, animal meat, and wild plants. 
Sam's connection to the animals around him grows as he gets to
know their individual personalities. This is especially evident in
his first encounter with The Baron. "I shall never forget the fear
and wonder that I felt at the bravery of that weasel. He stood his
ground and berated me. I could see by the flashing of his eyes
and the curl of his lip that he was furious at me for trapping him.
He couldn't talk, but I knew what he meant." In this encounter,
Sam describes The Baron with the same words we would
normally use for humans. Sam's keen grasp of animal behavior
helps him understand what his animal friends want, even though
they can't speak with words.Courageous and confident, Sam almost always knows he will be
successful. Even when he doubts himself, or becomes frightened,
he never panics. He sets about solving problems efficiently and
with ingenuity. When he needs to tan the hide of a deer, he finds
inspiration in an old tree stump: "It had showered the day before,
and as Frightful and I passed an old stump, I noticed it had
collected the rain. 'A stump, an oak stump, would be perfect.'. . .
So I felled an oak . . . burned a hole in it, carried water to it, and
put my deerskin in it." 
The thoughtful way in which Sam looks around as he wanders
through the woods gives him a thorough knowledge of his
surroundings. Sam's cleverness at using the natural materials 
he finds helps him live better and more comfortably.
Over the course of the novel, though, Sam changes. At the
beginning, he desires complete solitude. Slowly, Sam allows some
people back into his life. Where once he would hide from anyone
who happened by his tree house, later he becomes much more
interested in interaction with other people. He seems to long for
human companionship. When he realizes this, Sam begins to
combine his old life into his new one. He questions himself
constantly. Why does he go into town? Does he want to talk to 
a human being? Why doesn't he run from Matt Spell? Does he
want to be found? Has he had enough of the wilderness? Sam
has accomplished a great deal. Having ventured out on his own
and established a very special relationship with nature, he begins
to share his new world with the people he cares about. 
In the end, Sam finds peace in his decision not to run from all
the attention his new life has attracted. He is happy to teach hissiblings how to live off the land. Though Sam is torn about his
father's plan to erect a real house in the woods, and he is
concerned about sharing his space once again, he is also content
to be surrounded by a family that cares enough to change the
way they live just for him.
Frightful: Frightful is a peregrine falcon that plays an important
role in the story. Sam thinks of her as a good friend and
confidante. From the start, Sam acknowledges that Frightful is a
huntress with an independent spirit, so he trains her carefully. He
does not allow her to eat her own kills. If she did, Frightful might
realize she doesn't need Sam and he would lose her to the wild. 
Frightful is a fast learner. The bond that develops between the
falcon and her owner is one of the most touching outcomes of
this novel. When he first begins to sense the falcon responding 
to him, Sam writes: "I looked into her steely eyes that morning
and thought I saw a gentle recognition. She puffed up her
feathers as she sat on my hand. I call this a 'feather word.' It
means she is content." Later, Frightful communicates with Sam
when she senses potential food nearby and when she senses
danger. Frightful is expressive and loyal. It is her skill as a
hunter that keeps Sam well fed, but it is her companionship 
that keeps Sam from feeling too lonely or frightened.
Bando: After a case of mistaken identity, Sam learns that 
his first human visitor is a professor who has gotten lost on 
the mountain, not a bandit on the run from the police. Bando is
a relaxed, adventurous man who likes Sam immediately. 
Bando calls Sam "Thoreau," which is a reference to thenineteenth-century writer. The real Thoreau left his town life 
to make a solitary home for himself on Walden Pond in
Massachusetts and live entirely off the land—just like Sam!
Bando admires Sam for creating a wonderful home in nature. He
cares very much about Sam and is proud of his accomplishments.
Bando does not return Sam to his family in New York. On his
visits, Bando subtly makes sure that Sam is eating well, taking
good care of himself, and is content. He becomes a good friend
to Sam.
Mr. Gribley: Sam's father works hard to support a family of
eleven, and from what Sam tells the reader, we know that his
father takes time to talk to his children and encourage their
interests. It is he who allows Sam to leave home to live on Gribley
Farm. Of course, he does this thinking Sam will return the very
next day. However, when Sam doesn't return, his father doesn't
come after him right away. He has faith that Sam will be all right
and is confident in his son's abilities and in his determination 
to survive.
At Christmas, when Mr. Gribley visits Sam, he has come out of
both concern and curiosity. He knows that Sam is living as he
said he would, because he has read the newspaper reports of the
"wild boy" on the mountain. Once he sees what Sam has created,
he is bursting with pride. Braving the hazardous winter also
reveals the older man's adventurous spirit. Mr. Gribley extends
his visit with Sam, partly because he has missed his son, but
also because he wants a taste of the world Sam lives in now. He
is so impressed with his son that he does not want Sam to haveto return to the life he had before. He knows that this life is the
one that makes Sam happy. When Mr. Gribley is about to leave
after his Christmas visit, he tells Sam: "I've decided to leave by
another route. Somebody might backtrack me and find you. And
that would be too bad. . . .You've done very well, Sam." He takes 
a different route off the mountain in order to protect Sam from
reporters who might expose him and return him to his old life.
Mr. Gribley's actions show the enormous amount of respect and
faith he has in his son.
In the end, Mr. Gribley leads the entire Gribley family to Sam's
mountain home. This move shows that Sam's parents and
siblings are both loyal and adventurous—traits Sam shares 
and displays throughout the book.reading interests, an opportunity to encourage good writing in
this field." 
Each year, the librarians on the committee award one Newbery
Medal. In addition, they also recognize other books that are
worthy of attention. These books are called "honor books." The
Newbery Medal and the Newbery Honors are the best known and
most discussed children's-book awards in this country.
In addition to her Newbery Honor, Jean Craighead George has
received other awards for her books. In 1991, she was the first
winner of the School Library Media Section of the New York
Library Association's Knickerbocker Award for Juvenile
Literature. This award was presented to her for the "consistent
superior quality" of her literary works. 
In 1969, My Side of the Mountain won a George G. Stone Center
for Children's Books Merit Award. This is given annually by a
committee of teachers, librarians, and children's literature
specialists for books "that have the capacity to arouse in children
an awareness of the complexity and beauty of the expanding
universe."
If all the good reviews and awards weren't enough, My Side of 
the Mountain is also a favorite among teachers. Sam's adventure
in the Catskill Mountains is at the top of many schools'
recommended-reading lists.
What is perhaps most remarkable about My Side of the Mountain
is its long life. Published in 1959, this book was read widelyMy Side of the Mountain is a hit with both kids and adults.
Initially, the publisher had worried that readers would be
alarmed that Sam's parents let him go off alone into the woods,
but this received very little criticism. A few book reviewers said
that the story was far-fetched, but everyone acknowledged that
the story's themes and characters were marvelous. Jean
Craighead George has said that her only criticism from readers
was that they were disappointed that Sam's family joins him in
the end!
Book reviewers, parents, teachers, and students agree that My
Side of the Mountain encourages kids to think independently, to
apply their knowledge, to pay attention to their environment, and
to get comfortable with nature. As it was written in the New York
Times Book Review, Jean Craighead George "provokes readers to
a reassessment of their place in the natural world."
Besides receiving excellent book reviews, My Side of the Mountain
has also won many awards. The most prestigious honor it has
received was its selection as a Newbery Honor Book in 1960. 
The John Newbery Medal, introduced in 1921, was the first
children's book award in the world. Its goal is "to encourage
original creative work in the field of books for children . . . [t]o give
those librarians, who make it their life work to serve children'swhen it first hit bookstores. It is impressive that today's kids are
just as fascinated by Sam's adventure as readers were some
forty-five years ago. Sam's timeless tale is sure to entertain
budding naturalists and adventure seekers for generations to
come. A reviewer from The Horn Book called My Side of the
Mountain "An extraordinary book. . . . It will be read year after
year."When she wants to write, Jean Craighead George begins 
by taking a journal into nature and taking notes about
what she sees and how she feels. She wants to make sure she
accurately remembers all the details so that when she writes a
story, it is real and true. She even takes the time to sketch some
of what she sees. George comes to know the settings so well that
she is able to guide her characters in and out of believable
situations in which they must use their survival instinct and
skills. Her love of nature makes this easy: "Some books are
harder to write than others, but the books I write from love and
experience go easily. I can't wait to get up in the morning and
write. At 5 A.M. I'm off to the shower, the teapot, and mycomputer. It is quiet at that time of day, I have energy and I can
write to my heart's content."
Jean Craighead George decided to become a writer when she was
in the third grade. She and her brothers had spent weekends
camping and observing nature with their parents. After coming
home from such family outings in the wilderness, George would
write about her experiences. She has said that, at first, she only
wrote poems because she was "unable to sit still very long."
Later, in junior high school, her writing grew into longer poems
and then short stories. In college she wrote essays and, after
graduating, she wrote articles as a journalist. "Finally, at the age
of twenty-four," she says, "I took on the novel. I have been writing
novels for young people ever since." 
George is fascinated by animals, their habitats, and their
interactions with people. Her experiences with nature directly
influence all of the writing she does. In fact, she says that she
has spent time in every location she writes about, and that 
all her characters are based on herself or on friends, family
members, or animals she has known. "I have discovered I cannot
dream up [animal] characters as incredible as the ones I meet 
in the wilderness," she says. George says that she's always
thinking, always looking out for new ideas, always taking notes
in her head. "Ideas are everywhere," she says. "Your shoes must
have been many places with tales to tell. The rain coming down
the windowpane is a tale to tell—and on and on."

The travelers had been patiently waiting an hour for their flight, which was yet another hour away. They were all sitting in the uncomfortable seats at the Ezeiza International Airport, near the city of Buenos Aires, and Chandice, Mike and Taro were dozing, while Jack read his emails on his cell phone, using the airport wifi. Zhi walked anxiously down the long corridor looking every so often at the entrance doors of the terminal, and Nick in turn watched Zhi with a bit of jealousy. 

Finally, among the passengers and relatives arriving to check-in for international flights, Aulric's tall, slim figure appeared, pushing a very old wheeled airplane bag while he carried his heavy backpack on his back. Zhi gave a small cry of joy and ran to hug the newcomer, while Nick, hurt, looked elsewhere. 

Jack stepped forward to meet the boy and shake his hand. 

"Have you traveled well?" 

"Yes, I arrived an hour ago at the alternative Jorge Newbery Airport in Buenos Aires on a domestic flight from Trelew." 

 "Are you tired?" 

"I will resist." 

 “The flight to New York lasts nine hours. This is a partially night flight, so you will have a chance to sleep. Do you have your US visa? " 

"Yes, everything is settled." 

While pushing the suitcase with one hand, Aulric put his other arm around Zhi's shoulders and the two of them went to an airport cafeteria so they could talk in solitude. Nick sighed. 

 

With the arrival of the morning light that filtered through some cracks in the rock ceiling, Lakshmi woke up to find her body numb and still hugging Jerome's. As she moved to try to flex her sleeping legs she woke up the man, who, seeing himself in the situation they were in, asked in amusement. 

"Have you been cold?" 

The woman blushed and answered smiling. 

 "Not much. You have been a good source of heat… at times, too much. " 

They both got up and Lakshmi said. 

"We haven't eaten anything for a day and we don't have anything for breakfast, I'm hungry." 

 "Wait, I think I have some cereal bars, we can share them." 

 

They continued on their way through the tunnel and after about fifteen minutes Jerome expressed relief. 

"There is an intense daylight ahead there, it is evident that there is a way out." 

When they left the tunnel and emerged into the fresh air they experienced a feeling of freedom, after the claustrophobia suffered in the endless cavern. 

 Lakshmi pointed to a path on the side of the mountain and a few steps from the exit of the cave they saw a worn sign on the path, showing two arrows in opposite directions, one towards the hermitage called Cova del Salnitre, and the other towards the Monastery of Santa María . 

 

The first thing they did when they got to the buildings area was go into a restaurant and order two dishes each. 

It was already close to eleven o'clock in the morning when they reached the door of the Monastery. They entered with the rest of the tourists as they had already done the day before, but instead of following the contingent and the guides they went to an office hidden between arches and side altars. 

The visitors rang a bell and a monk opened the office door. 

"Can I help you?" 

 "We need to speak with Brother Arnau Ripoll." 

Actually Lakshmi and Jerome weren't sure that Arnau lived in the monastery, or even that he was alive; asking for him was an attempt that could be successful or not, so both travelers were anxiously awaiting the answer. 

"Who are looking for him?" 

 "WE are Lakshmi Dhawan and Jerome Watkins from the Bluthund Community?" 

"Excuse me, what community?" 

 "Bluthund." 

"May I ask what you are looking for the Prior for?" 

 "We are conducting a search for holy relics." Jerome gave the monk a business card certifying his membership in the Community. 

 "I understand, please take a seat and wait a few moments." The monk withdrew into the office, obviously in order to make a phone call. After a few minutes he came back and told the visitors.

When they arrived, the monk opened the doors and indicated for them to sit on benches near the altar. 

After a while the doors were opened again and a very old monk in oversized robes entered the room; Lakshmi and Jerome stood up. They both introduced themselves. 

"Please, let's sit down," Said the friar, speaking in English. 

"And now please tell me what the Bluthund Community does." He said looking at Jerome's business card in his hand. 

Jerome and Lakshmi explained the activities of the Community, while the monk listened attentively. At the end of the narration he asked slyly. 

"And what are the holy relics after whose clues is the Bluthund Community?" 

Brother Arnau did not seem very surprised to hear that it was the Holy Chalice. 

"What makes you think that I may have any information on the subject of the Holy Grail?" Instead of answering him with words, Jerome stretched out his hand, showing the monk his cell phone with the photo of the Minute Book of the Noble Order of the Holy Grail. The monk nodded, narrowed his eyes, and added. 

“I see you have discovered our little secret. I hope the book is not in danger. " 

“We have only opened the book to guide ourselves, we have only seen the last minute and we have not given in to the curiosity of reading the contents. The book is intact. " Lakshmi replied. 

"I also hope that you do not divulge the secret of our little order's existence to the profane world." 

"Your secret is safe with us." 

Again Arnau closed his eyes and opened them again, a gesture that apparently helped him to concentrate. Then he began to speak in a low, monotonous voice, Jerome interrupted him and asked. 

"Forgive me Friar Arnau. Do you mind if I record this conversation? " 

"No, but I hope this all has a just end." 

 "Do not worry. Our Community has a long and clean history, although we also protect our existence with a cloak of discretion. "

It was award season so an award ceremony was held frequently. This was done to bring out the stars and congratulate them for a job well done. 
After over five years in the industry, Liu Qinyang received an invitation to the Golden Disc awards as a presenter and a nominee. 
Liu Qinyang was nominated for the Song of the year award and the most influential artist of the year.
The Golden Disc, like the one hundred flowers award, was one of the most prestigious awards in the country. There were four most prestigious awards in the country namely the Golden Cricket awards which were mainly for actors.
The Golden Disc award for singers, producers, and songwriters. The One hundred flower Awards for both actors and musicians and the One air radio and television awards.
Out of all four awards, only The One Air Radio and Television Awards is held every four years. The other awards are held regularly, it was a huge honor to be invited to these prestigious award ceremonies. 
Liu Qinyang was overjoyed when her invitation to participate in the Golden disc awards arrived. It had long been her dream to perform on the stage of the golden disc award.
The invitations a welcome surprise as not only would she be performing in the golden disc award she was also nominated for two awards. That in itself was a good thing. 
Liu Qiao Qiao was invited to the award ceremony but had to turn down the invitation and sent Shi Xiaotong as her delegate because she had a previous engagement.
Liu Qiao Qiao was previously invited to take part in the States radio and television award ceremony. Which was a government-run award event held annually at the state's event hall at S city.
Liu Qiao Qiao was invited as the spokesperson for the one heart charity movement. She was invited to present the personality of the year award and lifetime achievement award.
On the day of the award, Liu Qinyang arrived at the venue in a lemon green form-fitting gown with a plunging neckline and a long slit in front of the gown.
 The slit showed off her beautiful long toned legs. Her hair was parked up and designed with sparkly leave green hairpins.
Liu Qinyang posed for photographs with fans and paparazzi as she walked to the entrance of A city's grand theater where the event was held. She stopped and greeted other guests as she moved forward at d that customary snail pace. 
Shen Xue was also invited to the event as a presenter for one of the awards. He, like other celebrities, walked the red carpet before going into the hall. Liu Qinyamg was surprisingly introduced to him by his old friend Jiang Kai.
Jiang Kai was Liu Qiao Qiao's senior in her management company Phoenix entertainment. The company had arranged for Jiang Kai to escort her during the Golden Disc award.
On arrival, Jiang Kai called her over and introduce her to one guest to another. All of whom were all big shorts in the industry. Even with his young age Jiang Kai was considered a veteran in the entertainment industry since he started as a child star.
Jiang Kai was known for his popular hard metal rock music. He was one of the friendliest and most liked celebrities because of his upright and humble character.
Shen Xue had just stepped out of a conversation with a group of directors in the SCTV when Jiang Kai came over with Liu Qinyang.
Jiang Kai slapped Shen Xue affectionately on the shoulder and said "Shen Xue, buddy there you are. We haven't seen each other in months but you look good. What your secret"
Shen Xue replied teasingly "alcohol?" 
"ah Ha Ha that's funny. Say when Xue have you met this Junior of mine" he backend Liu Qinyang closer. "Let me introduce you two, Shen Xue meet my junior sister Liu Qinyang"
Even though they were both taken aback by this, Liu Qinyang and Shen Xue greeted each other like strangers. After exchanging a few words they went into the venue.
The award ceremony kicked off with performances from different artists. The award began properly after the opening performance. 
A lot of awards were given that day ranging from minor awards to major awards. When it got to the time to present the most influential artists of the year Shen Xue was called out to present the award.

"Defending your honor" He replied

"Defending my honor?! who asked you to do that. I don't need you to do that for me I can defend myself just fine without your help" she said 

"No need to do that when you have me. I can protect you" he replied

"Oh then who would protect me from you? she asked 

"No one will because you're mine to hug and spoil" He replied pulling her into a hug 

"You_," she said pointing out of his hands

"Hush now my darling, you know that you aren't mad at me" He replied

Alan got mad, and he angrily walked outside.
Laila called to him, but he did not stop, and he walked away angrily.
Alan walked towards the restroom, and he angrily hit his hand in the wall, the blood flowing from his hand.
Suddenly someone called Oppa.
He turned around and was surprised to see her.
She walked towards him and looked at his hand and said, 'come with me.'
He stood there like a pillar with an angry face.
She grabbed his hand and walked towards the chair, and she said, sat.
 He didn't sit and stood there with an angry face.
She made him sit pressing his shoulder with her hand, and she said, Oppa, you are still like the kid always like this.'
Alan slightly smiles.
 She took the handkerchief and tied the wound.
Alan asked, 'wait a minute, why are you here? Rave, you weren't in Italy?' 
Rave, Ravenda, she is the childhood friend of both Alan and the CEO. And she went to Italy when she was 14- years old. And she was in touch with both Alan and the CEO. She always comes to meet them on vacation, and these three enjoyed lots. They both treat her as their own sister. Ravenda always shares her little things with them, and there is nothing about her that they two don't know. But there is a secret that only Ravenda knows she hid it from both of them, and she comes back for that secret, her love. 
Ravenda turned around and said, 'because I missed you both.'
Of course, that was a big lie, so she can't face Alan's eyes as it's the first time she said a lie to him.
Alan asked, 'is only that? Why do I smell something?'

Alan laughed and kicked on rave's head and said Awee, you dramabas.
She laughed, and Alan's mood changed quickly after Rave's presence. They both walked inside. And they sat near Layla.
'Sorry, Aunty.' Alan said with an innocent face.
Layla lovingly patted on Alan's head.
Rave said, 'hi, Aunty, how are you?
Layla said Awww, 'My naughty little girl is here. I'm fine, dear. How about you?'
'I'm fine too, Aunty; anywise, where is Oppa?' she asked.
Layla said he was sitting there and pointed her finger towards him.
Rave looked and asked, 'Why is he not sitting with us? Aunty, who is that girl beside him?'
Layla said, 'she Angel, cute right; She is new PA.'
Rave looked at Angel. It seems Rave doesn't like Angel.
Suddenly the light became dim, and the light focused on the stage.
'Welcome to the greatest Busna Business Global award 2020,' the two hosts entered the stage.
Everyone gave the hand of applause.
'So the Busna Business Global awards 2020 starts now,' the host said.
And the award starts with warm music. The piano is played by a person wearing a mask. Layla looks happy after seeing the masked man, but she becomes worried after she sees the CEO Young man next door.
Everyone started to murmur after hearing the music, it's so nice. It's like giving warmth to all of the heart, and everyone enjoyed it. And everyone eager to find out who it is and they are questioning, who is he?
Layla becomes nervous, and Jazz took Layla's hand and told her, don't worry too much; everything will be alright.
Layla smiled at her and said thank you jazz.
The performance ended and the masked man bowed at everyone. Everyone gave a warm round of applause to him. He walked from the stage without introducing himself.
Layla stood up and walked outside.
The host said thank you for such an amazing performance; it melts everyone's heart.
"I'm Maxwell, the host for the Busna business Global award 2020."
"Hello. I'm Clara, another host of the Busna business Global award 2020; Glad to be here."
The audience gave a round of applause to them.
The Award function started, and one by one, each award was announced. The CEO Young man next door already got five awards. And Alan got three awards. And it's about to the end of the award function and the main award, the business of the year award going to announce.
The CEO looked around, and he didn't find Layla, so he stood up and walked outside. He saw Layla talking to someone in the parking lot. The CEO walked towards the parking lot, but suddenly the car started and went from there he didn't find out who it was.
Layla becomes tense after she sees the CEO Young man next door.
The CEO asked, ' Why are you here? The award is about to be announced. Who was that?'
Layla said in tension, 'an old friend you don't know him.'
But the CEO felt Layla is hiding something from him.
Layla said, 'come, let's go inside.'
 And they both walked inside.
'So the Award function is about to end, so the Last and long waiting Award of the Busna Business Global award the business of the year is about to announce, so here are the nominations of the award,' The host announced.
The screen showed each of the nominations one by one.
The host announced the list of the nominations,
"LANA group;
Smart power entrepreneur;
Misty Group and
 Layla entrepreneur Co. Ltd."
Everyone is murmuring why the JOA group is not in the nomination.
The host announced, 'for the past ten years, JOA Group has won the Business of the Year award. This year the JOA Group is personally withdrawing from the competition, and the JOA Group has decided to sponsor the award and provide opportunities for new business groups. '
Everyone becomes in shock after hearing that.
'Before announcing the award, we would like to invite the famous model of the world Jasmine to give a congratulatory speech and announce the award; Give a hand of applause to Jasmin,' the host said.
Jasmin stood up and walked towards the stage. And she stood in front of the mike and started to give the speech.
'First of all, I would like to thank all of you for being here. And I'm taking behalf of Busan global. We at the Busna Global held respect for your value. We look forward to all of you. And thank you to the JOA group and Layla entrepreneur Co. Ltd for sponsoring the Award and hosting the Award. And hearty congratulations to all the award winners. And giving warm wishes to the successful five years for the Layla entrepreneurs, I'm announcing the best business of the year award,' Jazz said, and she looked at the envelope and became disappointed.
And she is about to announce the award with a forceful smile.

" this award is bagged by Su Chen for his software, which is to detect and backfire the viruses, it was the highlight of this year's software which was produced by our students " the Dean smiled warmly at Su Chen and handed him the award, Su Chen bowed at him and the audience before receiving it and exiting the stage.

"the next award is for language and imagination and the nominees are..." the screen displayed the students and Li Chang was one of them, " I would like to invite Miss. Zhao to present the award ". Miss Zhao or Zhao Fang is world renowned author, who write books in Traditional English and being a Chinese it is a really appreciable task.

Miss Zhao stood up and walked towards the stage, as she passed through De Xi, she looked at De Xi and nodded, De Xi returned her nod as well. She was beautifully and sophistically dressed in a grey net gown, which was full sleeved and embroidered. The gown was one of BELIEVE's custom made pieces.

" this award is bagged by Li Chang for his novel, 'The Trouble with the Soul' which was on top of children's novels charts for a whole month after the release " Li Chang received the award and shook hands with Zhao Fang and then exited the stage.

After few more awards the emcee then announced " now the award of sportsmanship will be presented and the nominees are.. " the screen again showed the students and De Jian was one of them, " I invite Mr. Nan to present this award ", Nan Gao is a well known sports personality and almost is experienced in all the field games, he has even bagged many gold medals, but after his marriage he retreated from sports.

He ascended the stage with a very easygoing aura, " and the award is bagged by De Jian for his accomplishments in sports for the past year, he has bagged many gold medals in various sports and games ", finishing this he looked at De Jian who just arrived and winked at him, the latter maintained his composure and returned a smile instead. Nan Gao then handed him the award which De Jian took respectfully and exited the stage.

" the next award is for best martial arts skills and the nominees are.. " the students were displayed on the screen and De Jia was one of them, " I invite Mr. Li to give out this award ", as Li Yuchen is very well known for his expertise in all forms of martial arts known to the mankind till date, he is also a idol to many young aspirants of martial arts.

He stepped up on the stage but before announcing he nodded at De Xi, which De Xi returned as well. " this award is bagged by De Jia for expertising 4 national and 7 international forms of martial arts and is really appreciable considering his age " saying this he handed De Jia his award and patted the latters head for which De Jia bowed and then exited the stage.

" next award is for the best organizer and the nominees are " the screen showed the students and Lu Kang was in there as well, " I would like to invite Miss Gu to present this award ", Gu Nan has many achievements and is a very sought after wedding planner and designer in all of the Asia. She wore a beautifully embroidered pink lace gown which complimented her pale skin tone very beautifully.

" this award is bagged by Lu Kang for impressively organizing a banquet for the annual gala of Xiao Jiahuo High School single handedly " Lu Kang entered the stage and accepted the award from Gu Nan and bowed at her and the audience and exited the stage almost immediately.

Not a lot of people who are Jaemin's age get to attend the award shows, aside from child actors of course.

He is basically too young, and actors who are too young often don't get casted at all, at least not until they turn eighteen or nineteen.

He was lucky, he was one of the youngest people ever in Korea, if not the youngest who attended the award shows while still being part of the main cast.

He had dressed himself up today, he really spent a lot of attention on how he looked, and how he would act if he would win an award. He had his speech already planned out.

He was nominated for a few awards, but Kim Soo-hyun in the past didn't win any award at this particular award show he was at, so he wasn't too worried he'd have to give his award show speech here.

The first award show, the one he was currently about to attend, was the 47th Baeksang Arts Awards. The show had already begun, and some trophies had already been given out.

The Baeksang Arts Award show is probably the most prestigious one out of all the award shows in South Korea, so he really wanted to win an award here, but that wouldn't happen.

He was being realistic, it was simply impossible.

He had been nominated for the same awards, and an extra award, which was quite the suprise.

- Best Actor (TV)
- Best New Actor (TV)
- Netizens Popularity Award 

He had to beat out the heavy-weight idol actor, TVXQ's Park Yoo-chun who played in "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" for the Best New Actor award, and both the Popularity Awards. 

And something a bit unrealistic, the Best Actor award.

Somehow, he had been nominated for it. It's very unique for a rookie actor, especially someone who is as young as he is, to get nominated for such an award. In the past, Soohyun hadn't even been nominated for this award, while he had.

But he was up against some veteran actors here, he thought he had less than a 5% chance of winning that award. No matter how talented in acting he was, he wasn't confident of beating someone with years of experience.

The System made up for that, but not fully. It could improve your acting skills, yes, but it couldn't make up for the experience that usually is supposed to come with it.

Soohyun had already done a few movies and dramas, while this was his first ever drama. And if Soohyun didn't win any awards here, then would he?

The Popularity Awards were even more unrealistic, that guy was an idol, he wasn't. 

Being an idol brings so much fame, that rookie actors just can't compare. Obviously, more people would as a result, vote for Yoochun.

But he would have to wait and see what will happen, the first thing he now had to do, was walk the red carpet, alone.

Usually he would have to go with Suji, Taecyeon and JYP, but Soohyun hadn't done that, so he thought that he would do the same. He would join them later on, since he sits next to JYP.

He was wondering how people would react, it would be his first ever red carpet walk.

He also could be interviewed, and he even had to pose in front of a ton of camera's, all alone.

He was sitting in a limousine right now, the only thing he had to do was wait until he arrives. He was a little bit nervous, but he was a lot more excited. He could see a ton of actors and actrices today!

There were also many more awards to come, so it didn't matter if he wouldn't win any awards today.

The car suddenly stopped, his driver pulled down the window at the back of the driver's seat and said, "We're almost there, get ready. You can do it"

Even his driver sounded quite happy for him.

Without him even noticing, time had passed by way too quickly. It was already time for him to walk on the legendary red carpet.

He took a deep breath, encouraged himself, and got out of the car.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH" He heard numerous high pitched voices screaming at him.

He was actually quite popular, the reaction of the masses was really something to remember. He couldn't hear accurately what they said, but due to them almost bashing through the iron fence, he knew they supported him.

Paparazzi was eveyrwhere, it almost looked like a movie set with how many camera's that were present at the scene.

He had to be all smiles right now, he couldn't afford to act arrogant here. 

He stopped right in front of the camera's and posed how every other actor had done before him, and accompanied it with a bright smile.

The intense cheering for him had died down a bit, but that smile of his made it resurface again. It even caused the female paparazzi to drool.

He waited there for about half a minute, and then proceeded to go to his seat.

But he got stopped mid-way, by a reporter. 

"Excuse me, do you have a bit of time for me?" He already had his microphone pushed right in front of his face, he couldn't say no even if he wanted to.

The camera's started being pointed at him, this was going to be his first interview on live television.

"Sure" His cheeks were basically already in pain because of how bright he had to smile the whole time.

"Alright, so this is your first award show right, do you hope to win any awards?" The man greedily looked at him, he talked very fast, not allowing him to think about his answers well, it seems like he was aiming to get some news out of him.

Jaemin could, and had to act humble now, humble even became his last name at the moment.

"Of course, everyone would. However, I don't expect to win any awards. I am already honored enough for even being able to get nominated for these awards."

The reported looked a bit dissappointed, "You have even got nominated for Best Actor as a complete newcomer, how do you feel about that?"

He answered back, "I was very suprised, it is a very important award after all. I thin I can be a bit proud of myself for being able to get nominated for such an award, but I think other the other nominees have a much higher chance of winning this award, since they did a lot better than me in my opinion."

The reporter now had an emotionless face, thinking, 'this kid gave some serious model answers.' He couldn't even spot one fault in them.

Jaemin had to go to his seat soon, so he politely said to the reporter that he'd leave now. 

The reported just agreed, he wouldn't get any juicy comments out of him.

Jaemin calmly walked into the Peace Palace of Kyung Hee University, which is where the awards would be given, and tried to find his seat.

Some actors and actrices spotted him and couldn't help but look at him.

He noticed this, and remembered that his looks were really outstanding. They were even better than ASTRO's Eunwoo's looks, and he is known to be the most handsome/pretty male idol.

He himself couldn't even look away when he looked in the mirror, imagine if someone actually attracted to the opposite sex looked at him.

He spotted Suji, JYP and Taecyeon and walked over to them.

"Ah, you're here, come sit." JYP quickly moved to the left, giving him his seat.

All four of them talked to each other about how nervous they were, even JYP was nervous. It was his first time at an award show as well, and he would even perform a song here.

It was quite funny, all three of them, except Suji of course, were nominated for the Best New Actor award. That made three people of Dream High contending for the same award. 

Although Taecyeon was nominated, he didn't represent Dream High, but Cinderella's Sister. But that still made three people of the same company end up contending for the same award.

Their conversation then got interrupted by the beginning performance, signifying the start of the award show.

Due to his high intelligence, his memory had become eidetic. He remembered everything he had seen in his past, including even the smallest details, which allowed him to know how this show was going to go.

He had researched a lot about k-pop, and he was basically a TV-watching mania, so he knew everything about this show.

The first award would be given after this performance, which was the Best New Actor award for Cinema, not for TV. The nominees would be announced first, and the person who won the award would be called up to the stage afterwards.

That award would be given to Choi Seung-hyun. He played a role in - 71: Into the Fire as Oh Jang-beom.

After that would be the award he, Taecyeon, JYP and Yoochun were nominated for. The Best New Actor for TV award.

The performance had ended, and the MC's walked up to the stage.

He didn't even pay a single bit of attention towards their speech and this Best New Actor for Cinema award.

He only cared about his awards, since he already knew the outcome of the rest of them.

And after waiting for a while, it was his turn.

The MC's then announced the nominees for Best New Actor for the TV award.

First scenes of the other nominees in their respective movies played. He, JYP, Taecyeon and Suji looked and laughed at each other, and encouraged each other when they appeared on screen. 

Nobody of them would be winning anyway, but this was still a fun experience for him.
