"I am currently reading Ian Fleming's 'Casino Royale'. The first installment of the James Bond series. Pretty much anything action, adventure, or mystery. Some of my all-time favorite series include Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson, J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter, and Anthony Horowitz's Alex Rider. I also enjoy 'Lord of the Rings', 'The Chronicles of Narnia', Encyclopedia Brown, Nancy Drew, The Hardy Boys, and may others. What about you?"
"I've always enjoyed the classic dystopian sci-fi novels, such as '1984', 'Animal Farm', 'I, Robot', 'Dune', and 'The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy'. My mom also insisted that I read Jane Austen, Nicholas Sparks, and other romance authors. That's how I got into E. L. James and J. Kenner."
"So, you're a nerd and a romantic." I catch myself giggling a bit. {Gosh, what is this man doing to me. I've become a blushing schoolgirl.}
"Fine, go ahead. Make fun of me. But in my defense Orwell and Asimov are good writers. And you can't tell me that 'Pride and Prejudice' isn't a good book. It has history and finesse. What more could you want?"
"Okay, okay! I didn't mean to offend you, I'm just surprised is all."
"What, that I read romance novels?"
"No. That you read actual books."
"Harsh. But understandable. Most actors and celebrities don't portray themselves in a way that suggests any of us have the time or willingness to sit and read anything other than tabloid articles about ourselves."
We continue to talk about books for a while. Both pizzas were amazing. All good things must come to an end though. Austin takes me home and kisses me goodnight. It's an unexpected, but soft and gentle kiss. {Wow. I guess a second date isn't out of the question then.}
"Goodnight, Alexandra."
"Goodnight." {Something about the way he says my name in that dark accent of his drives me wild. I just hope that he doesn't notice.}
I take a shower I notice a new text from Austin. [Hey, I had a good time tonight. Would you like to go on a second date? I was thinking we could go to the movies sometime during the next week.] {Maybe it's best I leave that for tomorrow morning. That way I'm not making a hasty decision, right?}
 
When I woke up, I responded to Austin's text: [I have a commission due at the end of the week, but I think I can spare enough time for a date.]
[Good. Let's say Friday at 6?]
[Sounds like a plan.]
[It's a date then. 😉]
I call my mom, as I do almost every Sunday. She is excited that I've actually gone out on a date for once. Everything is going well at home, and we are all set for dinner tonight. She tells me to invite Zach, and I agree that it would be good for him after dinner with his mother.
I decide to go talk to him in person and drive over to his apartment.
"Hey. I wasn't expecting you today. Is everything alright?"
"Yeah. My mom invited you to dinner tonight. I told her about dinner with your mother the other day."
"Okay." He laughs a bit, and I can't help but smile. "I'll go to dinner with you and your family."
"I will text her to let her know."
"Uh… just out of curiosity, how was your date with Austin last night?"
"It was great! Have you heard of Pizza Pi? Their mac'n'cheese pizza is surprisingly amazing."
"Pi as in 3.14?"
"Yep. Kinda funny if you think about it."
"I think Sam said something about that place at some point. Maybe it had something to do with one of her dates. I can never keep them all straight. Anyway, how did it go? Do you have a second date lined up?"
"Actually, yes. Friday at 6. I believe we are headed to a movie theater."
"That sounds like fun. I'm glad you had a good time. Speaking of time, we should probably get going before your parents start to worry about your whereabouts."

Timothy and his three friends met at Gregg's house on 84th N Wallace Street. Gregg lives in a greenish-blue house. His neighborhood was not quite as dangerous as other blocks in his area were. When they arrived, Timothy ranged the doorbell. Then Gregg opened the door quickly entering his friends inside.
      "Glad y'all made it, " Gregg said greeting them inside.  
      Gregg directed them towards his room. His bed was a king-sized, and his covers had Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny's image design on it. His room was very spacey and extraordinary. In the center of his bed, he had a big drawing poster board of comic panels taped on his wall. On the left side of his closet door, was a bookshelf stacked up with speds of Nancy Drew Mystery books and Stephen King books.  On the left side of his room was a Toshiba TV set. On the top of his television was a black Sony VCR. His TV was standing on top of a glass TV unit where it had sets of VHS movie tapes. Beneath the TV unit was his  Comedy movie section and Horror genre section. 
      "What's that poster drawing you drew, Voo-doo-In Tha, what?" Mike asked.
      "It's a Nancy Drew mystery I drew called "Nancy Drew: Voodoo In The Hood comic drawing I did…" Gregg said.
       "Voodoo? You into Voodoo nigga?" Mike asked.
      "Yeah man, I know a lot about Voodoo, I spent a whole month studying about voodoo in a witchcraft book I bought at the book store…" 
     "You practice Voodoo for real?" Timothy asked.
     "Naw, it's for my comic book, man, I'm thinking about selling my comic book arts though, I can be making a whole lot of bread, " Gregg said.
      "I'm glad you don't practice Voodoo, and you can actually make a living selling your comic books, how? I don't know, maybe you can sell it to some of the kids at school who reads comic books, " Timothy informed.
       "That's a good thought, Timothy, " Gregg said.
     "You actually read Nancy Drew books too? Now what nigga reads about about a white woman?" Mike asked, standing near the book shelf holding one of Gregg's Nancy Drew books. All of them started laughing except for Gregg.
    "The kinda nigga who's smart and get ideas from books and add them to his art, " Gregg said.
    "Man, you gotta point, but I don't read these kinda books, I like more historical books from the 18th centuries, " Mike said.
    "Books from the 1800s? Those books boring as hell, they put me to sleep" Gregg said.
    "I like em, you can learn so much interesting stuff that happened back then. But judging by this cover of this blonde woman,  Nancy, she does look kinda fly though, I'll smash her good, " Mike said talking s*xually.
     "Man, if Nancy Drew was real, she wouldn't want you man, she would want a real man like me, who is fascinated with mysterious," Gregg said, and the others laughed.
     "Nancy Drew not real?" Mike asked while the others laugh at him.
      "Haha, man naw, she is a fiction character, " Gregg said trembling his head.
       "Aw man, all this time I thought this woman was real, I could have sworn I saw this woman on the news channel somewhere, " Mike said putting the book back on the shelf while the others still laughing hard at him.
      "Haha, on the news? Everybody knows that Nancy Drew is not real, you tweaking man, " Timothy said shaking his head.
    "Yeah, he is. Now let's start making these flyers, " Gregg said.
    They all strolled towards Gregg's computer desk, which was big and was made out of wood. The desk was placed in a corner by his window. The computer was a white Dell computer.
    "Aw my bad y'all, let me go get some chairs for y'all, " Gregg said getting up from his seat.
      2 minutes later, Gregg comes back into the room with four chairs. "Here y'all go, let's get this over with, " Gregg said walking towards his desk sitting in his chair.
     "Now how do we actually come up with flyers?" Gregg asked.
    "Don't worry y'all, I know how to create it, " Anthony said stepping in.
   "Yeah you the one came up with this plan, you know what, you can sit here then, " Gregg said leaping up from his seat.
     "Okay.  Well first we need a short content, " Anthony said.
    "What do you mean?" Gregg asked.
    "Like a real short leading content
explaining what we using the thugs for, " Anthony informed.
    "Uh, maybe…" Gregg getting cut off.
    "I know what it can be, I was thinking it can say, We Need A Thug To Act For a 1,000 Award. If The Thug Do This Act Right, You Could Win More Mone," Mike suggested.
     "Hmm, that's not a bad content Mike, " Gregg said.
     "Okay, let's use it then, " Anthony said typing the letters on a Microsoft Office XP document.
"Okay, now I have to divide them into sections to spread it out so we can print a lot of copies out."
           "Cool, " Gregg said.
          "We need a catchy headline phrase, " Anthony said.
         "So we need a title?" Gregg asked.
        "Yeah but it has to be catchy, so it can stand out for thugs to read it when they approach it on the street. We are hanging these flyers up right?" Anthony asked.
       "Yeah I rather hang up the flyers than just giving it to em, if we give it to em they ain't go take no teenagers serious, " Gregg said.
      "Yeah, y'all got any ideas for a headline phrase? What about you Jeremiah?" Anthony asked.
     "Uhm, maybe, since we attracting thugs, it should be something called How To Make More Money As A Hustling Thug slash call this number blah blah blah, " Jeremiah.
       "Haha, that ain't a bad phrase man, " Anthony said.
      "Hell naw it ain't, that's a cool phrase man. Jeremiah, you my boy and all, but you too quiet man, you need to talk more, you got some cool **s ideas, " Gregg said.
      "Let us use that phrase than, " Anthony said typing. "Don't forget about the location, " Anthony informed.
      "You can just put, You Can Reach Us At This Address Located On 78th N Cottage Grove Street, " Gregg said.
        "Okay, "Anthony said typing. "What phone number we will use?" 
        "Do we actually need a phone number?" Timothy asked.
         "I think we do cause it would be creepy if they just pop up at our location,  wouldn't it?" Gregg asked.
         "He gotta point, " Timothy agreed.
         "What number we using?" Anthony asked.
         "We can use Jeremiah's mama's phone number, " Mike said being sarcastic.
        "What?" Jeremiah said, with a weird look on his face.
      "Haha, it's something wrong with you man, " Anthony said shaking his head.
     "Put my number down, 773-468-4590," Gregg said.
     "Okay, the flyers are officially complet...Aw wait, I forget we need an image design to attract them, we need something serious that is about business," Anthony suggested.
     "We can use a photo of 2pac in the movie Juice, " Gregg said.
     Everyone laughed. "Hahaa, naw man, we need something more realistic, not in no movie, like a picture of a businessman wearing a briefcase, " Anthony suggested.
      "I think that would work since you said business-wise, " Gregg said.
       "What about multiple pictures of different professions?" Jeremiah asked.
       "What do you mean?" Anthony asked.
       "Like you can have the same black man picture having a suit and tie on holding a briefcase, with three other panels of pictures of the same man either posing as an actor, a chef, police, whatever, that's just a thought, " Jeremiah suggested.
        "I like that thought, imma use it, " Anthony said typing the information.
       "Cool, " Gregg said.
       "Hey man Gregg, about that brick building you showed us yesterday. That place needs some decorating cause that place looks terrible, and it smells terrible, " Anthony informed.
       "How we go decorate an old building?" Gregg asked.
      "I think I have somebody in mind, but we need a break, I'll tell y'all about it later, who's hungry?" Anthony asked.
      "I am, " Timothy said rubbing his stomach. 
      "Me too, " Gregg said.
     "Who has taste for some J&J Fish?" Anthony asked.
       "Fish? I know I do," Gregg said.
     All of them agreed and stood up from their seats, and walked out of Gregg's room.

Pearl turned and looked towards Nancy. She watched what the other girl was doing.
Nancy grinned. "They are available." She said before giving instructions to where the books were.
"How about for this year? Is there a copy before the graduation?" Jayden asked curiously.
"Oh! It's not here yet. Pearl, you are graduating this year as well. What do you think? When will we get the graduation book?" Nancy asked curiously.
"It should be here any time from now. At least for the library copy. The one for each student, it should be given out after. There was a problem with the printing schedule and that's why it was delayed." Pearl explained expressionlessly. She did not even bother looking at either one of them.
Jayden frowned. 'This girl is a freak,' He could not help but thought to himself.
Nancy giggled, "Don't mind her. Most of the time, she fixes the books after the class and doesn't enjoy talking to people."
Jayden nodded before he turned around and walked away.
When he was out of sight, Nancy released a heavy sigh.
"Pearl, are you gay?" Nancy asked curiously.
"Not sure." Pearl continued on her task of updating the library cards for the day. In fact, if she had other choice she would rather stay home and sleep.
Nancy snorted, "How can you not know. You must be. Did you see the guy is so tall and handsome? You don't have any reaction, whatsoever. Wait, do you even know him?" She questioned curiously.
Pearl hummed as she picked up his library card. "Yeah. His name is here," She pointed out before writing the time log on the card.
"Eh? Are you for real? He is like the dream guy of most of the girls here in school. Don't you know about our football team? He is a quarterback and really good at it. The team went to nationals. There was a hearsay that he was scouted to play pro but don't want it because he is already rich-" Nancy ranted on and on for who knows where.
Pearl looked at Nancy, "You like him?"
"What can't I not like about him?"
"Who knows? With your description, he sounds like a perfect dude from fiction novels. In short, fantasy. So he probably has his flaws somewhere there that not a lot of people knew about. Well, it was not a secret that he changes girlfriends like he changes his clothes. Is that considered a flaw?" Pearl asked nonchalantly.
"Boo. Don't be a killjoy. Well, even though he has his flaws, there was no way he would be interested with me. So let me be, okay? Let me stay in my fantasy land." Nancy explained too sweetly.
Pearl nodded. She really doesn't care about Jayden Brown. Also, even though she has a good impression with Nancy, since the girl was really easy to talk to and get along with, even for an introvert like Pearl. 
Nevertheless, they were still not that close. Nancy's beliefs or opinions were not Pearl's business. Because of that, there was no need to share the number of times she caught Jayden fooling around. 
Pearl was about to go back to her task, when Nancy spoke again. 
"Hey, can I have a favor. I really wanted to talk to him some more? He will graduate soon and this is my last chance…" Nancy suddenly requested. 
Pearl frowned. She was silent for a while. It was like her silently stating, 'So? What's that have to do with me?' 
"Come on. It's not big of deal, right?" Nancy asked softly, as she might have understood what Pearl's expression meant. In her heart as well, she was full of mock towards Pearl who acts like Jayden did not affected her, even for little. 
For Nancy, the other girl was not willing to help her because Pearl wanted to have time with Jayden herself. 
Pearl decided to keep quiet and act like she did not hear anything. If she had other choice, why would she sacrifice? After all, she was more used to fixing the books in the shelves than staying at the front desk. 
"Please?" Nancy asked as she grabbed Pearl's arm and hugged it tightly. 
Pearl gave Nancy a swift side glance before ignoring the other. 
"Come on. I will owe you big time, if you let me do this," Nancy said with a forceful smile. She has no choice but to suck it up with Pearl. She needed Pearl to teach her some more things before, after all and being on the other girl's unpleasant side. 
Pearl snorted, "I don't need you to owe me. I won't have time to ask for it later." She said as if teasing. 
Nancy did not respond immediately. Instead, she grabbed her bag and started shuffling inside it. 
"Aha!" Nancy yelled in delight as she held a card a card. She then forcefully put it on Pearl's palm, before she spoke happily, "Here. You can get two extra large pizzas with Papa J's with this." 
Pearl suddenly looked at the gift card with delight.

When you are not drunk but managed to sleep with a total stranger and had no idea how and when it started, then something is definitely wrong with you. 

Lila only realized that something was wrong with her when she slept ‘accidentally’ with the hottest playboy in High school, and he was precisely the type of guy that she vowed to avoid before.  

So what did she do, eventually? Hide. Getaway as far as possible. 

But what if Duke has other plans?

The incident didn't stop at the office, but also caused a huge uproar in the Adams house as well. Because of all the stress from the incident the family head or should I say, Robert Adams had been venting all his anger on everyone in front of him. Every person was avoiding him to the best of their abilities. The house cleaners were always at his disposal. If there was even the slightest thing out of order, he would severely punish them. Both the sisters since were remarkably close to the father thus, would still be jumping around him and always get yelled on. As for Emily, she had always stayed out of his father's sight and so she was able to avoid his outbursts usually.
 Although she did notice that Nancy was acting quietly strangely towards her ever since she came back to the mansion.
'She must have figured out I was the one who stole Robert's papers. But how...? Yes, of course! I thought someone entered my room while I was showering, she must have seen my scars and bruises while I was bathing. Shit. At least she did not have proof and the papers are with Lucas. Yes, everything's fine. If she asks about the bruises, I'll just say I was trying to escape from some gangsters and ended up with these bruises and scars... Yea, it'll be fine...' Emily slowly released a breath she didn't realize she was holding.
She went back into her room and slept soundly. But little did she know a sly 'sister' of hers was waiting for her to sleep. After making sure that she was in deep asleep, she sneaked into her room and started searching all over to find the papers or at least something related. Even something out of place would do, but she found nothing. Unknowingly to her, Emily had predicted something like this would occur so she had kept the ticket in her wedding gown which was hiding a pair of shorts along with a shirt for her escape plan.
After searching for an hour Nancy found nothing. So, when she was about to head back, she realized something, 'Of course I couldn't find it! Why would she even hide it in such obvious places... This is the last place in her room. If it is not there, then she isn't the thief.' She moved forward, until she reached the place. She gulped and could not believe what she was about to do. As her hand moved closer, she started inspecting Emily's bed and even her clothes as well as her body. She felt disgusted but at the same time envied her for having such a well maintained and curvaceous body.
"I guess this brat really doesn't have anything. But what about those scars? Oh well, why should I care? I wasted so much of time on this worthless bitch." Nancy cursed under her breath and made her way out of Emily's bedroom. "I couldn't even get my beauty sleep because of that brat. Just wait, I'll teach her a lesson she'll never forget." After having another look at Emily's bedroom, she went back to her own bedroom.
When the next morning came Emily got up at 6:00am surprising even herself. "I guess I'll have a shower first..." She said sleepily. Although everyone in the house did get up at around 6:00am, Emily feel there was no need for her to get up so early since nobody even cared. After cleaning up her bedroom, she went into the bath and finally, after an hour or two of working and lollygagging aimlessly, she decided to go out.
Nancy who had been waiting for her put on a sly smile and made her way in front of Emily and fell down the stairs. Although every single one of the servants saw what happened, they dared not speak for they knew the Eldest miss's anger. "AHHHHHHHH!!!" a loud scream echoed throughout the mansion. Aria and her father both rushed out to see Nancy on the ground and Emily standing on top of the stairs, it seemed like Emily pushed down Nancy.
They hurried to aid Nancy but Emily was faster than them, she had been in this situation once before and after watching and reading all those novels and serials she knew what she needed to do. "Big sister!!! Are you all right? If only I had grabbed you while you had slipped. You could have avoided this fall! You!!! Call the doctor at once no, call the ambulance!!!" Tears rolled down her cheeks, which made it seem like Emily was such a caring sister but only the house cleaners knew what exactly happened and gave Emily a thumbs up in their minds. Robert at once called for the ambulance and Nancy got rushed in the hospital. Although Aria wanted to kill Emily badly, she held down her desire and knew that her sister was faking the pain and the blood.
Everything was settled and although Nancy wanted to kill her so bad, she knew that she couldn't because of her engagement with Lucas. Thus, she decided that she would find some other way to torture her.

"Hi, there, Nancy," Elliott said, shoving his hands deep into the pockets of his jeans. It was a little cool outside, and he had on his letter sweater, but he was pretty sure he'd be draping it over her shoulders soon enough.
"Hello yourself, Elliott," she said in that seductive voice. She sounded like the cigarette pack in her hand had been there her whole life. "You sure did play good tonight."
"Thank you," Elliott beamed. "And you sure did cheer good, too." He hadn't really noticed her at all during the game, but he imagined she hadn't fallen down or anything, so that was probably about as good as a girl could get for cheerleading. It wasn't like it was hard, like football.
"Oh, Elliott," Nancy cooed, batting her long eyelashes. "Do you really think so?"
"Of course," he smiled, brushing a strand of hair back behind her ear and letting his fingertips brush against her cheek. Her smile brightened. "I could hardly keep my eye on the ball, I was so busy watching you." He stared into her eyes, and she blushed, dropping her eyes.
"You sure did keep your eyes on that other quarterback," Linda chimed in, and Elliott nodded at her for a moment before looking around for Reggie. Maybe he could take Linda away for a bit, but he was off with another group of kids closer to the creek telling a story in a voice so loud old Mr. Lawson could probably hear it clean up at his house. Elliott never understood how some people could like the sound of their own voice so much that they never stopped telling tales nobody else cared to listen to.
"You know, Elliott, I was thinking, I've only been in your Monterrey once, and that was on the way home from the homecoming dance. I've sort of forgotten how nice the interior is. Do you thing I could take a ride with you?"
Elliott stared at her for a moment, double-checking he had her meaning. She looked up at him from beneath those long lashes, and he had no doubt in his mind what she was saying. "I'd love to show you my car," he said, his voice deep and a bit breathless. 
"Oh, can I come?" Linda asked, clasping her hands together. "I've never been in your car before."
Assuming Linda was clueless and not proposing something Elliott had only heard about happening in French novels, he only stared at the toothy girl for a moment before Nancy said, "Uh, Linda, I have some things I'd like to talk to Elliott about in private."
"Oh." Linda's tone dropped. She still didn't seem to have the full picture. "I'll just go hang out with my brother then." She moped over to where a young man Elliott didn't recognize was standing with a few other people, and Elliott only assumed that must be her brother because his teeth were even more assertive than hers. A few more cars pulled in to park, and Elliott checked to make sure Cliff wasn't among them before he took Nancy's hand and led her over to his car.
"You don't have to worry about him, you know," she said her hand sliding up to his bicep. "You're so much stronger than he is. Besides, he's all talk."
"I know," Elliott assured her, being honest. He wasn't afraid of Cliff, even if the warning he'd shouted in the locker room was a little more foreboding than any he'd made in the past. "I just don't wanna mess up my fist on his face. I gotta catch quarterbacks with these hands."
Nancy chuckled and they climbed into the car. Elliott started the engine and headed up the road a bit beyond a curve that left Lawson's Point behind some trees. He pulled the car over to the side of the road near a thick section of woods and turned the ignition off. "So what did you"
He didn't get any more words out before Nancy's tongue was in his throat. "Oh, Elliott," she breathed, once she'd pulled herself off of him. "I've wanted you since the moment I first laid eyes on you. I don't care if my daddy says you're nothing but trouble, I need your hands on me."
As he stumbled for a response, she launched herself at him again, her own hands everywhere as her mouth met his and then began to trail its way down his neck. He had no idea her dad thought he was trouble, but if that's what it took to get this sort of response, he was all for it. 
She was pawing at his clothes, and his sweater came off in one swoop while she fumbled for his belt. "Nancy, baby, why don't we climb into the back where there's more room?" he asked. He was a big guy, and the last thing he needed was to tear up part of his dashboard or get himself wedged beneath the steering wheel in such a way he'd never be extracted.
"Anything you want, Elliott," Nancy replied, and before he knew what she was doing, she'd climbed over the back seat. Her hand shot out and grabbed the neck of his shirt, pulling him over the seat head first. It was awkward, but he somehow managed to land with his back against the seat, and as Nancy returned her attention to his belt, he decided to figure out whether or not the bra she was wearing was padded.
"Nancy," Elliott whispered as she began to pull his jeans down, "I don't have any you know."
His girlfriend looked up. "Condoms?" she asked, her breathing labored. "That's okay. You don't need any. I'm not on my period."
"Huh?" Elliott asked as she continued to pull on his jeans. "What do you mean?"
"You do know how it works, don't you?" she asked, stopping long enough to look at him with her head tipped to the side like she wasn't sure of his intelligence. "It's just like a dog. You can tell when a woman's in heat because she's bleeding."
He was pretty sure that wasn't the case at all, but by then, Nancy had him bare from the waist down, and he wasn't about to argue with her. She muttered something about how she wasn't sure that was going to fit, but then climbed on top, and Elliott wondered when she'd taken her panties off.
It didn't take nearly as long as he had hoped, but it wasn't his fault. Nancy might not be as loose as Cliff had described her, but this was not the first time she'd climbed into the back seat of a car. The girl knew how to use those shapely hips of hers, and even though her dress had stayed on the whole time, there had been enough unbuttoning and unhooking to answer Elliott's question. The boobs were real.

"Is everything for the meeting ready?" Marcus Holland asked his person assistant "yes sir" Replied the assistant. Marcus has always been distant from his family.  But today he was going to meet them

             "Marcus when are you getting married" Holland eldest asked . Marcus at the age of 25 was not married. "I don't think it's the right time yet but if you have anyone  in mind just let me know" Marcus replied coolly as if getting married was not something important.

"WHAT!!!!" Nancy shouted when her mom told her that they are about to find a man for her. "You don't have to scream its not like I plan on getting you married to a begged" Mrs Drew answered coldly. "He and his family will be coming here tomorrow " Mrs Drew said as she took her leave. Nancy at 22 considered herself not ready for marriage.

Kate slightly sitting upright with the aid of her friends.
"I'm fine." she grimaced, looking over to the streets.

Riley stared down keenly at Kate with concern as they helped her up. 
"Who were they?" queried Loretta but Riley instantly cut in, holding Kate's right hand "You're bleeding." she muttered, alarmed.

Kate swiftly glanced down at her hand and shrugged, "It's nothing serious. It was due to the fall."

"I think we need to take you to the infirmary to prevent any infections."

"Don't worry Riley, I'm perfectly okay. It's just a fall."

Riley hastily cutting in, her eyes filled with concern. "I don't think so Kate, I still insist  we head to the infirmary."
Kate swiftly glanced at her wound and back to Riley for a while. Seeing the look on her face, she gave in. "Okay, okay, let's get going before class starts."

"Yes, let's go." added Riley, leading the way with Kate, followed by Loretta and Nancy.

"I think we need to speed up our investigations and plans. Nichole is drastically closing in on us." uttered Loretta as they rounded the corridor to the infirmary.

After few minutes, Kate had her wounds treated and they all sauntered back into their classroom.
Not long has they gotten into their seats when Mr. Dan, their Literature teacher walked in.

"Let's begin with our thesis." he muttered, walking up to the board.

All the class attention were drawn him, everybody listening attentively and Riley was no exception. She was deeply into the ongoing lesson when she felt her phone vibrating her in her bag. She slowly pulled her bag close to prevent the lecturer from noticing her and reached out for the phone. She slightly lowered her head, taking a quick peck on he screen of the phone and noticed a text from an unknown number.

"Who might it be?" she muttered, with Loretta slightly turning to glance at her as she clicked on the message icon. She opened the message and her eyes flew wide open, stunned with what she saw. A message with a picture attached to it.

Message:
Come and meet me if you want to see your mother and boyfriend alive.
Location: Natton street 124.

She read the message, trembling as she scrolled down to the picture.

"Oh my God." she mumbled, raising from her seat instantaneously as she thumped her hand on her desk. Loretta swiftly gazed at her startled, with the  whole class attention drawn to her.
Kate and Nancy glanced at each other quizzically then back to Riley.

"What is it Riley?" queried Loretta.

She gazed at Loretta but her attention was immediately drawn to the board by their teacher's voice.
"What's going on Miss Riley?" questioned Mr. Dan, starring keenly at her.

She stared blankly at him then back to Loretta.
"This can't just be happening." she muttered, picking up her bag. "I need to go" she added with a cracked voice and dashed off.

"Riley...!" shouted Loretta.

"Hey, Riley!" shouted Kate, raising up from her seat."What can't just be happening?" she muttered, rushing after Riley, followed by Nancy and Loretta. The whole class looked on, confused.
  Kate, Loretta and Nancy caught up with Riley half way through the corridor. Nancy held her hand, pulling her to a stop.
"Where are you going Riley? What's happening?."

Riley hived a depressed sigh, holding up the phone to her friends. Loretta hastily took it on noticing the picture. Kate and Nancy also drew closer to have a look. They stared at each other on reading the message and glanced back at Riley, handing the phone back to her, awed.

"I need to go girls." she uttered, turning to leave but Kate pulled her back again.

"How true is this? Have you called Lionel or your mother? What if it's one of her tricks?"

"I don't think so Kate...Look at the picture, does it look fake?"

"No Riley but I still think you should call them before leaving so to be sure."

Riley gazed at Kate thoughtfully for a while, turning her stare to Nancy and Loretta too. They both nodded in support to Kate's request.

"Okay, Okay..." she muttered in surrender, scanning through her phone for her mother's number. She finally got hold of it, dialling. She waited impatiently as it connects for a while.

"Hello." she hastily muttered at the sound of a tone but realized that it was from the network servers. She called again but there was no answer. She tried Lionel's number and it was the same situation.

"I'm not getting anywhere with this." she muttered worriedly. "I need to run now, time is not on our side. See you girls later."

"Wai....t" mumbled Loretta but she had already left.

"We need to do something about this Kate. I sense something is not right over her." uttered Loretta, concerned.

"I know right." she muttered, pausing thoughtfully for a while."How about we head to her house to check or better still, call Uncle Lian."

"I think we should go and check for ourselves. We can still call Uncle Lian on our way. He would know what to do if it happens to be a trap." replied Nancy.

"Okay, Okay, let's go." uttered Kate, taking the lead, followed by Loretta and Nancy.

Nichole was in the living room when she saw Dickson glided downstairs to the kitchen. Just then, she heard her phone ring. she hastily answered without checking the caller.

"Hello." came Zed's voice  through the phone.

She jolted up alarmed on noticing his voice.
"Give me a second." she muttered as she took a quick glance at the entrance of the kitchen.

Nichole secretly glided out of the house to the terrace, spying to be sure that she hasn't been noticed by Dickson. When she was sure that she was far from being heard, she drew the phone back to her ears.

"How is it going Zed?" she questioned.

"In some few minutes time, you will receive good news." 

"That's great Zed, just keep me posted." she uttered with a smirk.

"Sure." he muttered, hanging up.

Nichole smiled satisfactorily, playfully hitting the phone in her palm.
"You can't outsmart me Riley. I'm the queen of this game." she muttered smugly. "I always gets what I want you brat." (smirking).

Alex stabbed his sword through the heart of Butler Francis, ending his life altogether. He can't take Butler Francis as a prisoner because the Qi suppressing Pill he had with him will not work on an Elemental Gathering Realm cultivator. Alex needed Qi suppressing Pill of Rank 3, which he didn't currently have with him. 
Alex summoned all of his Demon Beast companions and Plum so that they can feast on Francis's dismembered body after taking all the valuable things on the butler body.
"Plum~!"
"Ssssss~!!"
"Blob~!"
"Kreee~!"
Everyone was happy to get even a little bit of the delicacy lying on the ground.
"Plum~!" The spirit beast jumped on Alex's shoulders and started covering the wounds on his body by a gel-like coating to heal him faster. It wasn't necessary to be engulfed wholly inside Plum's stretchable body for the Spirit beast to treat someone.
"Thank you, Plum! I'm exhausted today. It is the first time I had consumed almost all of the Qi inside my body." Alex said while rubbing his aching body. The Berserk Pill had lost its effect, and Alex had also started feeling weak and sleepy, so he headed back to the Whiteconch city by swapping with a puppet after ordering his puppets to clean up everything until he wakes up.
"Al... Um, Danny, are you alright? What about Francis? Had he gone back?" Nancy asked worriedly. She had been waiting in the study room with Captain Sparrow and Nora. Captain Sparrow suddenly vanished and in his place appeared Danny who looked extremely tired.
"Francis is dead. His men are all captured alive except the ones who unfortunately died inside the tunnel and at the hands of Nora." Danny said while also complimenting Nora for completing her task.
Alex had changed his appearance back to Danny because he didn't want anyone else to know about his presence here. Even in the study room of the Marell's clan, he did not take off his disguise. Francis was just an exception since he was fighting him alone.
Nora was extremely surprised and jealous after seeing Alex's ability to control his skin and muscle mass. This kind of ability would be very suitable for an assassin like her.
But unfortunately, she can't have it due it being an ability that can only be gifted by the Spirit Beast called Plum who is already bound to Alex by the soul contract. Of course, she met Plum in the morning upon arriving at the White Conch City and was instantly charmed by the cute creature like every other woman. Nancy was the same.
"Ah! Really!... That's much better than. Thank You, Danny!" Nancy said before kissing Danny on the lips but then shrinking back immediately like a bunny after remembering about the presence of Nora, inside the room. 
"I... I was just," Nancy tried to explain because she didn't want others to know about her affair with Danny. She was after all a widow and a mother to a child who was only younger than Alex by one and a half years.
Nora smiled wickedly as she looked straight in Danny's eyes. Nora was happy to catch Alex being in an extramarital affair with an older lady.
It was the best gossip material but soon her hopes were dashed when Alex ordered her mentally to not reveal about their matter to another soul and also activating the bloodline bound contract to keep this a secret between them.
Nora's cheeks puffed in annoyance. Nancy thought the female assassin who was stronger than her, became mad upon knowing about their matter.
Nora walked up to Danny and rather than slapping him, she kissed his lips with even more passion than Nancy who became gobsmacked upon seeing the female assassin's bold action and opposite to what she had thought.
"Smooch~... Hihihi" Nora giggled as she winked at Nancy mischievously. 
"Alright! Enough teasing, I'm very tired so don't disturb me until I rest. Nora, go around the city and see if everything is in order. Nancy, you can tell the news about Butler Francis's death to your clansman so they don't have unnecessary thoughts of rebelling anymore and it can also help raise their morals." Danny hurriedly escaped away from the room because he didn't want to get entangled with the two ladies now, he was too tired and sleepy to do anything laborious. 
Sparrow had come back with Danny's soldiers and also the enemy soldiers that they captured from the forest. and the hill. Except for the 134 enemy soldiers that died inside the tunnel and the twelve in the administrative building by Nora, all the others were captured and bound by a rope.
The puppets did not kill any soldier inside the forest, and all those severed heads skewed on the arrows and spears were that of the soldiers who died inside the tunnel. 
The puppets had transferred them to the forest using the inventory as the medium and didn't kill unnecessarily in order to only provoke Francis back then.
The citizens of the WhiteConch city were shocked to see the reinforcement sent by Count Nathan to liberate their city from enemy hands were instead defeated, captured, and paraded through the streets with hands tied behind their backs.
People who were siding with Count Nathan were disappointed, and the people who hated General Marce and the Count celebrated in their houses. Of course, it didn't mean they sided with Danny so quickly since they didn't know if he would turn out like the one before him or not. Everyone was going to wait and watch. 
The whole Whiteconch city was still under Martial law and curfew has been imposed since the city has been captured. Civilians are only allowed to move during day hours and are completely banned from forming groups of more than ten people or going out of the city.
Alex slept through the whole evening and the night before waking up the next morning subsequently being greeted by the rising sun appearing on the horizon of the sea that could be seen by his window.
