A year later.....

It's late December, I took 2 weeks off to visit Tiere at Jakarta, staying at her apartment. Tiere told me she loves her job and she made a lot of money. I'm so happy that I let her chase her dreams. And I, I finally got to work at my dream game company, was accepted right after a month dating Tiere. She's like a lucky charm to me.

The sun shining through the open curtain, I woke up before the alarm start beeping. I turned it off once it rang cause it's Sunday, I leaned forward looking at the peaceful looks of Tiere while she's sleeping, drooling on her pillow, greasy hair, and her messy waterproof makeup, did she forget to wash her face or? I use my thumb to wipe her eye –shadow but I didn't make it, for me she's always beautiful, my lips lifted upward I feel warm in my heart as it beats faster cause I realize how much I love her. Somehow it's so calming and my heart is melting. I leaned my head forward again, kiss her lips once and she pouted. "I want to sleeeppppp" she said, tossing her body to the other side. I laid back on the bed, hug her from behind. 

"Good morning, my dear" I whispered. I heard her sniffing smiles. Then my phone ruined my Sunday.

I sit up to catch my phone, my mom's picture popped up. DAMN! SHE IS VIDEO CALLING ME RIGHT NOW? I LIED TO HER! But it's okay, I am 24 years old. BUT NO, JUST PRETEND I'M IN THE HOTEL.

I click the green button soon as my mom's face close up-ly appeared. I was kind of shock, my heart start pumping fast, throbbing behind my ribs, it's going to crack soon.

"Hii.. Mom" my jaw turns rigid. 

"Hey, so, you're at Jakarta?" my mom asked, still smiling.  

I nod my head, "Yes"

"Huh.. it's so hard to ask you to come to Miami, but when it is about Tiere, you arrived soon as she asked" 

I told my mom about Tiere and my mom was so happy about it. I don't know she used to ship me with Tiere since grade –school. I don't understand my mom sometimes. 

"Mom..." I rolled my eyes. 

"So where's she?"

"She is beside me..ups" I covered my mouth, DAMN! MY MOM PURPOSELY SHIFT MY CONCENTRATION.

Her smile disappeared, her face turned scary. THIS IS THE END OF MY LIFE!

"HAA!! YOU!!! Bastard! You slept with TIERE?? YOU DARE LIED TO ME?? YOU WANNA GET MARRIED SOON, HUH?" 

"Momm.. mom... listen" like usually....

Then, how about Caroline and the flowers?

Back to that time.

Once I've done my confessions towards Tiere, I walked back to my car light –heartedly. I feel happy and relieved at the same time.

It's Caroline. Oh, I really forgot about her! I was kinda shock.

"Ryan.. where the hell are you?"

"Caroline.. I'm so sorry to say this. But, I think I'd like to stay with Tiere cause I love her" I said as I scratched my forehead, I know I sound like a total jerk but this is for the best.

"What???" she moaned and hung up the phone, before I even explain. 

Then the florist got to call me. 

"Hello, Giany's florist here. Am I talking with Mr.Valerian?"
 "Hello, miss florist. The bouquet and the chocolate box, sorry.. my girlfriend just left the town, so I'm giving that package for you. Thankyou!"

It turned her speechless, maybe I sound pathetic but not too pathetic that makes her confused. Ah, not a big deal.

Tiere : a nerd girl who tends to be so active, and talkative. She has a dark past during her school time, students like to judge her, but since graduated from high school she did some improvements of her both appearance and her image that makes her prettier in the present time. But nah, in the past time, she is kind of retarded. Her family isn't that rich, but her mom's new husband and her dad's new wife are billionaires. But Tiere won't take a cent from them. She is tough. 

Caroline : she is one of the queen bees gang in their school. But she is the most normal among the others, I mean.. she is kinda study a lot rather than hanging out and shopping, even though she does a lot of shopping too. She is from a very rich family, that's why people like to cling into her. Nowadays people.

Calvin : Tiere's ex –boyfriend. Son of a famous cosmetic company. Calvin and Tiere were not in the same school. They met in the pub where Tiere worked at. That time, Calvin has a crush on her, and get to know her better. Tiere doesn't change because of Calvin, so don't get her wrong. She changed because she feel kinda ashamed of her past life during her school time.

It was 15 years ago when it happend. I just moved from my old house because I was trying to start new in a new town. I had to leave all my friends behind because they knew what I couldn't let anybody else know. 

This town had bright, happy, and truthful people–or so I thought. I had pets before I moved, so I figured that I would get another one. A pet that would love me, and protect me. Samson was my first dog. He kept me company and gave me love and made me feel safe. I hated the thought of being alone, but I didn't want to be with anybody either, so I just got pets and replaced human affection with animal affection. That might sound crazy, but it works for me so I'm sticking with it. 

Even though I'm an introvert, I still have plenty of human interaction. It's just always in the bedroom. I had a lover before I moved but he didn't want to come with me, so I had to leave him back home. It broke my heart that he wouldn't move with me, but that's just how my life goes, so I'm working with what I have. The way I see it is you're not lonely if you're okay with being alone, so that's what I'm doing now–sitting alone not being lonely.

Whenever I'm down in the dumps, I always look up inspirational quotes on Google and try to feel better about myself. works 50% of the time but the other 50% is just lost in this abyss of depression, self-loathing, and food binges. That's what I did then and that's still what I do now. But now, I added another item to the mix. I like to write short stories about imaginative, wild adventures that I wish I could be on or anything to enlighten my mood and get rid of all these weird feelings that have nowhere else to go.

That night of the accident, I didn't have my writing to make those weird feelings go away, so I did something else. Something drastic that I 100% regret now. Although, when I did it, I was so glad to release every embodiment of rage I ever bottled up; refusing to let go. I bet your wondering what that "accident"  was. Well I'm going to tell you for my parole officer is making me. Seems that writing is the only thing that keeps me calm these days, so if I write it out, maybe I'll lose a little bit more of that anger that's bubbling underneath; waiting to be released.

Elsa stared at him with an awkward look.. When Sam saw her gaze, he immediately understood her thoughts.

Suddenly Elsa's phone started ringing loudly.. She was totally surprised for two things.She didn't know that their world can connect to this werewolf world. Secondly, Who is this calling her at her wedding night !!!!! 

Probably Sam understood her curiosity. 
He said, "It's just somewhere away from your world. So they can connect you. 
Go, pick up the phone. "

Elsa approached to her phone on the corner table and saw it was a call from her besty,  Sonsy. 

She cursed in her heart, " This shameless woman!!! 
Sure, she will ask so many nasty questions!!! How can I answer her in front of Sam!! 
Oh god!! 
Wait and see!! I will surely kill you,Sonsy!!!! "
She was hesitating to pick up the phone. 
Sam understood her hesitance. 
So he said he was going to take a bath. 
Elsa breathed a sigh of relief. 

Then she grabbed the phone angrily and said, " What is it!!!! Speak!!! "

On the other side of the phone, Leah and Sonsy were lying in the bed and impatiently waiting for her to receive the call. 
Sonsy and Leah were her best friends since childhood. Their families were also close with each other. 
Elsa was among them who got married first. So they all gathered up to tease her. 
Sonsy said, " Aww!! Darling!! Did we disturb you?? Oh no!!

"WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED?" A Team Galactic commander asked furiously as there excavator were suddenly destroyed and most of them were dead when does bizarre violet beams suddenly rain down from the sky.

"I have no idea sir." One of the surviving grunts answered as the rest of the survivors met at the base of the volcano, the original 120 that came for the excavation was now cut down to fifteen and the original 45 excavator and 10 aircrafts were all destroyed, courtesy of that strange beam that practically dismantled the mountain to pieces.

The Galactic commander growled a bit and was wondering what the hell hit them. He knew that the Pokémons residing in the mountain could not produce such power for most of them are fire types and the only beam-based move that they could probably used were Hidden Power and Hyper Beam, none of those two moves could do that much damaged in one blow. "Have we succeeded in contacting HQ yet?" The commander asked in frustration and fear as he gazed at his subordinates who was trying to operate a bang-up radio.

"Nothing yet sir," The grunt answered as he desperately tinker with the radio. The grunt was sweating bullets as he feared that those strange violet beams once again rain down upon them and finished them off.

Suddenly, a mirror appeared behind them, and before they could react, the mirror suddenly fired several white beams, piercing them on the heart, killing them on impact.

"Well, that's that." Ash grimaced as he felt no human life remaining in the holy ground. He killed once, he regretted it but he did not dwell in it. They made their choice and he made his.

"Maria, release the souls." Ash ordered with a deep sighed. As Maria was busy releasing the souls that she had collected, he closed his eyes and tried to focus on the bond that he now shares with Elena. He wants to at least know what his lover was up to.

After a minute or so, Ash opened his eyes before sighing deeply before letting out a growl of anger. "They called her my one month stop, of all the brazen audacity." Ash cursed as his wings sprout from his back before taking the sky. "And they even force my Elena to battle, are those guys nuts?" Ash mumbled out loud as he flew towards Sun Lake Town faster than lightning itself. He was half upset at Elena for provoking his friends, he knew for a fact that she dislikes his female friends for, in Elena's words and he quotes, 'using him to further their careers'. He really did not understand where she came up with that.

But, even thought he was upset with his lover for provoking them, he was furious with those three for annoying her, they may be his friends but Elena was everything to him and she was his priority. How dare they insult her, calling her a witch, calling her his one month stop, he had half a mind to blast them with his Diffusion Element. 'The nerve of them, insulting my Elena like that.' Ash thought darkly as his body literally emitted lightning.

'My dear, calm down, they are not that annoying.' Ash actually stopped after hearing Elena's voice.

'Elena,'Ash voiced as he used his Moonlight Element to conjure an illusion to hide his presence. The Royal Element Moon has a unique special ability, it could conjure self sustaining and corporal illusion and it could magnify the strength of a typical Element ten-fold. Ash usually used this Element to hide himself from his enemies for a quick kill or to get away from his friends to spend time with Elena. 'This is, unexpected.'

'Yeah, never thought our telepathic link could reach this far.' Elena said in surprised.

'I am extremely powerful, after all.' Ash boasted as he suddenly felt an ache inside his head.

'I already know that love, no need to boast.' Elena lectured with a giggled.

Ash chuckled a bit before sighing deeply. 'Was provoking my friends' necessary love?' Ash asked as he massaged his temple. Even thought they were miles away, Ash could tell that Elena was sighing deeply.

'I don't like them, Brock and Gary are okay, and I could get along with them, those three on the other hand, they hate me as much as I dislike them.' Elena reasoned apologetically. 'Ash, I know you want me to eventual get along with them but, they just don't like me and vice-versa. 'Elena stated sadly.

Ash had to suppress a groan at that. 'I see, there that difficult huh.' Ash mumbled in disappointment, he at least hope that his female companion could at least be a bit civil with her. 'Don't break them.' Ash requested solemnly.

'Of course.' Elena answered passively.

'What time will the contest start?' Ash asked as he cancelled the illusion around him.

'Noon, thirty minutes from now, why you asked?' Elena asked curiously until it hit her. 'You're going to fly from wherever you are to Sun Lake Town at full throttle, aren't you?' Elena asked blankly.

'Of course,' Ash answered as his entire body emitted a strong burst of electricity. 'You rarely battle, my Queen, I wouldn't miss watching your elegance for the world.' Ash exclaimed passionately as he rocketed towards the northern direction.

'You do know that those words don't affect me anymore, loved.' Elena commented with a giggle.

'I know but it won't stop me from saying them.' Ash answered back as the two once again sealed their telepathic connection.

I gag and sprint out of the room, bumping into someone, the scent already reveals who: 

Axel... 

I jump into his arms and feel him sliding his hands below my bum to support my weight. I cry into his chest and be tries shushing me. 

The two idiots now come out if their room i suppose since i hear footsteps. Axel now also knows what is going on "what the fuck?! Dylan your'e Cody's best friend and Olivia's 'lover'. He air quotes is cause yea, it's kinda complicated. "You just fucked with your best friend his girl?!" He continues and looks like he's going to attack Dylan soon. 

"It wasn't official yet" Dylan shrugs. I can tell they are drunk, the smell is making me sick. "And you" he points at Maddelyn "how could you?! You just did it with your best friend her lover. Wait i can't even say best friend since best friends don't do this to each other" he shakes his head dissapointed. "I normally would demand you to go tell it to the rest, but since i bet they are all drunk you will do it tommorow". 

He rubs my back with the hand he isn't supporting me with. "Disgusting" he spits and walks away. After a while i hear him stop walking and a door close. He gently places me on my bed. 

I grab his wrist "please stay Axel" i hiccup and see him nodding "wasn't planning on leaving" he tells me and interwines our fingers. "Do you want to talk? Or just sleep" he asks. 

"Sleep" i say even though i know i wont sleep for one second. How can i? My best friend just- i can't even say it. How disgusting. And Dylan, the guy i was falling in love with... 

I sprint to the bathroom and empty my stomach. Axel is soon behind me and rubs my back until im done. He gives me a worried glance and i stretch my hands out to him, silently asking him to carry me back. He does and hums once back, laying down next to me 

"i will always be there for you, Liv. I promise" despite my sadness i manage to give him a weak smile "thanks" i say and feel his arms around my waist, pulling my body closer. 

My intention isn't to just sleep with Axel cause Dylan and Maddelyn did something im mad about, im just sad and need someone with me. We both don't sleep a wink that night, both lost in our thoughts and secretly scared for what's yet to come tommorow...

I wake up and rub my eyes. The curtains are already open and the sun is shining in my eyes. Its a sunny summer day and i wish my mood was the same. 

Last night events barge into my head again and i groan. I throw my arm to the side and notice Axel isn't laying down next to me anymore. I sit up straight and see him sitting on the couch next to the bed "goodmorning Olivia" he says and yawns. 

"Mornin, why didn't you wake me up? Its..." i look at the clock "10?!" He rolls his eyes "you needed your sleep after last night" I sigh "don't remind me, lets go to the others, we need to talk with them" 

"Is there anything to talk about?" He asks and crosses his arms. I close my eyes "its not about you, of course it has to do with all of you, but for me its my best friend AND him" He pauses and then nods "your right, im sorry. Im just angry" he scratches the back of his neck. 

I stand up and kiss his cheek "don't worry, let me take a shower and then we will go" i grab some joggers and a hoodie, not feeling it to dress formal or casual. 

I take a hot shower, trying to let the thoughts leave my mind, but it doesn't happen. The hot water on my skin helps though, it makes me calm down a bit. I let my thoughts wander. Why did Maddelyn do that? To me, but also Cody. I told her to be carefull with him! He's a sensitive boy and still she manages to break him. Well i don't know that but im sure it broke him, he was falling for her after all. Dylan can in his drunk state say they weren't official, but you could clearly see there was something going on, there is no Sherlock needed for. 

Dylan told me he liked me, why would he do this then? To his best mates and also me. I keep asking myself why, but its not on me to answer that. After a while i turn the shower off and step out of the cabin. I do my things and don't even think about putting make up on, i think i will cry so much it will come off anyway even though its waterproof. 

When im out of the bathroom Axel is waiting for me, casually leaning against the wall next to the bathroom. "Ready?" He gives me a sympathic, sad smile. I nod and feel him reaching for my hand. With his fingers locked in mine like its meant to be we walk to the kitchen.

"What were you thinking?! You didn't just hurted Cody and Olivia, also us!" 

"You two are disgusting, nasty people" 

"And you call urself best friends of us?" 

"CALM DOWN, ALL OF YOU" i scream and everyone falls silent. Axel and i demanded the idiots to explain what they did. They did it, but not without tears. I resisted the urge to roll my eyes, they weren't the victems so they could swallow their tears if it was on me. 

Lots of apologies later were still talking, also known as now. The other lads freaked out and i swear they plan on killing them both. I would always defend my best friend, but this time i won't. She hurted me, as i already said multiple times. They all look at me with anger in their eyes along with sadness. 

How are we going to fix this?

It has been three nights since the arrival of the Japanese —Mr. Ohmura and his team or bodyguards I don't know what to call them. 

On this night, I notice that Belinda is not particularly in a cheerful mood. Actually she has been showing me some potential signs of mood swings in the last couple of days but I have been too busy to talk to her. 

Being Gustavo, I get to wake up early and sleep pretty late—Belinda is not exempted from this routine. 

Like now, she is just returning from having her shower and is applying some moisturizer on her face. Or is that not what they call it? 

I peer at her gloomy reflection in the gigantic mirror southwards from my lying position on our "matrimonial bed". I am sure you understand why I used air quotes. 

I can't stand the suspense, I'm a little uncomfortable. I like being in the know.

"What is wrong mi amor?" Gustavo's ghost is still lingering around. I am sure he is as eager as myself to know what is wrong with Belinda. and why she is this moody. 
"Nothing is the matter. I am just—" She pauses for a bit. I wait for her to continue her statement but she doesn't. 
I feel the need to push the conversation. 
"My sunshine. Surely, there's a matter bothering you. You did not finish your sentence just now. Come closer. Come and tell your señor the reason for your dampened mood." 

Belinda stops applying the substance to her already flawless face and turns around to look at me. 
"Honey. It is not a big deal. I am sure I will return to my cheerful mood by morning—"
I interrupt her, "Unacceptable! We are going to have a talk about it? And we are doing so now."

I hope my words are firm enough to make her know how seriously bothered I am.
She should get that.

She looks at me and fakes a smile before coming to sit beside me on the bed.

Gustavo must have been a lucky man —

"Yes I am—I was. She was always as lovely, attentive, loyal, and real a hundred percent of the time... I regret blaming her for Maria's death. I know better now—but I can no longer amend my ways."

The interruption was coming from Gustavo's ghost. I don't think I want to be in his shoes right now, wearing the garment of irredeemable guilt. 
..

"Loving you is easy Bella. I am glad you waited this long and choosing to give me a second chance at loving you." 

I hope I am speaking Gustavo's mind because if I were him, I will be thankful that I at least still get to see her, and watching her shower this much love is only proof that she remained loyal even up till death. 

"I never doubted that you loved me but—"

"But what? Don't keep anything from me, mi amor."

"It is just your mother, ma'am Imelda—her statement the other day about me... pregnant got me deep in thoughts."

I suspected this would come up but I didn't know it will affect her this deeply. 

"Is that all?" I say to her while watching Gustavo's ghost from the corner of my right eye. Since he is all spirit, I figure he knows what she is about to say or do next. Or maybe not.

I am taken aback by her suggestion. But her request is not totally wrong. Infact it is not wrong in anyway but I can't possibly bring myself to do it. 

What shitty business have I got myself involved in? 

I turn to Gustavo's ghost. He is silent. I can't even read his facial expression to know his thoughts—Pfff! as if I ever could. 

"Why do you look surprised my love?"

Why wouldn't I be? I am Santo Martini, not Gustavo Rodrguez. How do I bring myself to sleeping with a dead man's wife?

Stealing his identity, fame and wealth, is enough selfish guilt to deal with. 

How much longer will this farce go on? 
"Bella..."
"Yes Gustavo."
"I don't think the timing is right. There's a lot going on at the hot—"
Her voice is agitated, "A lot like what? How much longer do I have to wait? Don't you want to make another baby with me?"
This is the most agitated I have ever seen her. 
What can I say to appease this goddess of love? I need suggestions. 
"Mi amor... I love you and I want to make another baby with you"
"So why the delay? I can't remember the last time we made love. I don't even know what it feels like to be touched by you. It —it is hard... for me. Can't you see?"
She breaks down in tears and I have never seen her cry. 
What do I do man? I ask Gustavo's ghost whom I know can hear my thoughts. 
He is still silent while I embrace Belinda and try to calm her down. 

...
"What? That wasn't part of the plan so don't even say that."
I am having a low tone conversation with the real Gustavo in the bathroom because Belinda has succeeded in crying herself to sleep. 
I feel her pain and longing —she wants a replacement for her sweet Maria. 

"I am not saying that you should have sex with her right away... All I'm saying is you should keep your mind open to the possibility of it happening."

"Damn you Gustavo! How would you expect me to make out with a woman I don't even love —at least not in that way. She deserves so much respect. I won't do it."

He just shakes his head and lets me wallow in my worried thoughts.

I return to lay beside Belinda. I feel the need to cuddle her to sleep. It should ease her worried mind. 
Something kept echoing in my head the entire time until I eventually fall asleep at a time I don't remember. 

Gustavo's words, "It is not part of the plan but sometime in the future if you do fall genuinely in love with her, don't hold back your feelings... She deserves to be with a man as noble as yourself. Remember these words of mine, Santo Martini."
