Self-made cotton paper was a very important and necessary item when hamster breeding. It could be bought from the Internet. The product was whole, raw, pulp paper, without any artificial dyes, and it could be cut into finger-wide strips. Hamsters would instinctively search for nesting materials after giving birth to their pups. If they couldn't find them, they would be anxious, even if the owner had already made a nest for it. It was useless, however, as it would only be reassured if it was a nest made by the hamster themselves.
The cotton paper was given to the children for free by Zhang Zian––a pack was only ten yuan––and he had the children cut them into paper strips.
When the children saw that the female hamster was actually eating the cotton paper strips, they were all very shocked.
"Is the female hamster hungry? Why is it eating cotton paper?" Little Celery asked, worried.
"Yes, should we give it some food to eat? What if it gets so hungry it eats the little hamsters?" another child added.

After the cotton paper passed through its mouth, it would become softer, and hence it could not be replaced by normal sawdust. Sawdust was too hard; it could not eat it and it was not suitable to build a nest with.
It kept several pieces of cotton paper strips into its cheek pouch, then ran back to its baby hamsters. It spit out the cotton paper and started to make the nest without any guidance. After that, it ran back into the corner to eat the cotton paper again.
"Isn't it better to directly put the cotton paper closer to the babies?" a child who asked. "That way it wouldn't have to run back and forth. It just finished giving birth so it must be very tough for it, right?"
Zhang Zian nodded. "It is indeed very tough for it, but during the making of the cotton paper and the transporting of it, it is impossible to prevent it from getting some human scent on it. When it puts it in its mouth, its own scent overpowers the human scent. It can't be put too close, otherwise that wouldn't happen."

If they could also experience the hard work of mothers in the breeding process, that would be great.

Looking around to see if anyone else was outside of their vehicles which he deemed unnecessary after looking for a few seconds. Then he proceeded to sneak outside of the rest area and into the woods. Once he stepped one foot inside the woods he received a notification.

He smiles at his stats that are slowly rising feeling satisfaction, but also a little upset about the abilities he has because heat control so far has only let him regulate the temperature around him and he can't even make drastic changes in the temperature but Ben remains hopeful that he can one day improve heat control to the point where his normal form can make fire like when he is Heatblast.
He makes it back to the rest stop and sees Gwen and Grandpa Max. Grandpa Max asks, "where did you go"
Ben says, "I woke up around three and couldn't sleep so I went on a walk what time is now?" Gwen says, "it's five-thirty you shouldn't wander off by yourself dweeb! We should have been gone" your the dweeb Ben shot back. Then the two continue to bicker back and forth as they make their way back to the RV with Grandpa Max trailing behind them with a wry smile on his face.
With everyone inside of the RV now they make their way towards Washington D.C. Completely unaware of what they were on their way into.
Time skip to Washington
"Ooh Grandpa Max can I get that it will complete my sumo wrestlers collection that's all I need." an eager boy shouts with hope and anticipation in a store aisle that is making other shoppers stop to look at the boy that is interrupting them.
"You and Gwen can each get one thing so you should pick more wisely," The elderly man with greying hair said to the two children he has with him.
The girl with orange hair was fine with this and told Ben that they should go off to look for something that they would want.
They swiftly separated from Grandpa Max to look for something that they would enjoy. They run into a tall man with two mechanical horns on his forehead as well as goggles and grey hair he was creeping Gwen and Ben out with the crazy cackle he was doing while looking at the animals in the pets section. As he was about to pick up the hamster Gwen told him to stop laughing like that because he is scaring the, shaking hamster and that he shouldn't touch the pets without the clerk's permission.
The man stops his cackle and looks at Gwen and shouts, "Do you know who I am I am DR. ALOYSIUS AMIMO Brats!" His mechanical horns start glowing and zap the hamster. It quickly starts mutating and growing then Dr. Animo says, "get her my pets" than a giant mutant frog burst into the store from the sewers. Then the monster duo charges at the two. As this is happening Ben receives a quest.

Ben accepts the quest then shouts for Gwen to run and says that he will take care of the two of them and the old man. Gwen flees and the hamster pushes Ben out of the way and he flies into a section with a bunch of clothes and they collapse on top of him. Then a green light shines from underneath all of the clothes and an orange giant alien dog with no eyes and has thick fur comes out. Ben initially felt strange Because he was seeing with sensors. He felt like he was viewing the world in pulses. The new way of seeing made Ben confused initially, but he let his instinct guide him so he can get used to it. He quickly chased after the hamster and Gwen he passed the hamster quickly and made it to Gwen. He picked her up with his mouth and threw her up in the air and caught her on his back. Then he faced towards the now still giant mutant hamster. It's two buck teeth looks like they can tear apart steel he quickly checks out his inventory to see his avatar and gains more confidence for the fight ahead because what he sees is a giant beast with razor-sharp claws and teeth.
While all of this was going on Gwen was shouting, "Ben is that you? We need to get out of here."
Ben snarls at her in response and then the hamster and Ben begin charging at each other with Gwen screaming. Then when Ben and the monster hamster get close to each other Ben dodges to the side causing the hamster to keep going while he moves towards the mutant frog and Dr. Animo. Seeing this Dr. Animo gets worried and turns a bird into a monster with his horns he jumps on top of the bird that became giant with sharp claws and grew horns. And flies out of the store through one of the big windows near the roof shouting curses and how he would take Washington back to prehistoric times. Once he gets a certain distance away the giant hamster that was a mutant turns back into a small hamster, but the frog follows the doctor instead of changing. Ben was about to give chase but his timer starts flashing. So before he runs out of time he names this form Wildmutt, goes to hide, and checks his stats.

He then reverts back to his human form and turns in his quest and he levels up. But before he checks his stats he checks to see if Gwen is ok once she tells him she is he takes her to go check on Grandpa Max. While they were looking for Grandpa Max Ben checks his stats now that he has leveled up again.

The pair finds Granpa Max quickly because he was headed towards them as well. Ben and Gwen begin to explain the situation to Grandpa Max and he takes them out to the RV to follow Dr. Animo's frog. After a few minutes, they see traces of the frog from the cracks it left in the ground every time it landed from a jump. They catch up to it and Gwen quickly finds out the direction its heading is in the museum and she reminds Ben of how Dr. Animo said he would take D.C. back to the prehistoric era.

I saw a Ben 10 fiction that I enjoyed and but it stopped posting pass the second chapter so I decided to make this.

The hamster looked at the girls and said in a proud tone. "Humph, what do you mean by cute? Call me handsome." 
"Wow!" the tent filled with exclamations when the hamster talked. Ayaan couldn't help but have a little headache. He knew the charm of cuteness because once he was also a cute dog.
"Can I touch it?" asked Rebecca and looked at Ayaan with puppy eyes. Ayaan saw her cute face and his heart melt in just a single glance. 
"Take it," he extended his hand at Rebecca on which the cute hamster was sitting.
Rebecca looked at the hamster and tried to take in her hand from Ayaan. "Heh?"
However, when she stroked the hamster, she could not touch it. Her hand passed through its body like an illusion!
"Why?" Rebecca and others looked at the hamster in disbelief and she turned towards Ayaan. "Why can't I touch it?"
"How can you touch me when I am just a spirit? I am not made of material but from energy." The hamster replied disdainfully. Though in a girl's eyes, its expression became cuter and wanted to pinch and feel its body. Alas, they could not.
"What is going on?" Leafwhisk asked. "What is this hamster?"
Ayaan took a deep breath and explained everything that happened just a few moments prior. The girls heard what he said and became stunned. "So this thing is a pagoda spirit?" asked Noor.
"But why didn't it reveal itself before?" asked Isobel in confusion.
Ayaan looked at the cunning hamster and also realised something after hearing Isobel's word.
"What are you staring at me?" snapped the hamster. "Do you think anyone would be happy to become someone's slave? So I didn't want to come out." It said grudgingly.
Ayaan looked at the little thing on his hand and felt as if it was hiding something. He didn't know where this feeling was coming from, but he just knew. "You are hiding something," Ayaan said, looking at the creature with narrowed eyes.
The hamster struggled and eventually lost his patience and blurted out everything because he knew Ayaan could tell if it was speaking truth or lying, that's what master-servant pact was about. "Alright, at first I wanted to control you, but I failed because of the thing inside you and somehow became your servant."
Ayaan blinked in understanding. If it wasn't for the World of Life and Death, he might have turned into someone's slave. This damn despicable, evil, creature wanted to make him its slave! Even thinking that kind of possibility made Ayaan shiver in fear.
Others also heard its words and left stunned. Now they were wondering if they should call it cute, pitiful or stupid. It tried to make Ayaan its slave and turned someone's slave instead. What a tragic end, what a tragic life.
Ayaan thought of something and asked the hamster curiously. "So did you turn the previous owner of the pagoda into your slave too?"
The hamster's expression turned bitter and crestfallen when he heard Ayaan's question. "When the pagoda was passed to the previous owner I was suppressed by someone." It said. The hamster looked at Ayaan and continued disdainfully. "Don't ask who it was because you are too weak, even bugs are stronger than you in the higher worlds."
Leafwhisk who was standing not far away narrowed her eyes when she heard hamster's words. Ayaan also remembered the scene when a dying man passed the pagoda to Nolan. Just the ash of that man's body evolved the entire forest, if someone had the power to suppress then it must be that guy, and Ayaan also remembered the man talked something about gods.
He had some doubts about this god thing before, but now after hearing this hamster's words, he was having second thoughts. Are there really gods in this world? He didn't know the answer, so he left it for the future.
"Do you know anything about the previous owner?" Ayaan asked. He was rather curious about this guy called Nolan, because he had seen a short life of Nolan, after all. He glanced at Leafwhisk from the corner of his eyes and relaxed when her expression didn't change, or she hid her real expression. No one knew.
"I don't know anything about the previous owner," replied the hamster. "I was suppressed at that time and fell into a deep slumber. I woke up from the slumber only after the previous owner died. At that time there was only this lady inside the pagoda but she never tried to get the legacy of the pagoda if she had, hehe." The hamster chuckled evilly as it glanced at Leafwhisk.
Ayaan turned towards Leafwhisk and asked, "did you know about this evil hamster?"
Leafwhisk looked at Ayaan and her face turned icy cold. "I didn't." She replied and walked away without staying any further.
Only after speaking Ayaan realised that he had said something wrong. He literally doubted the lady by speaking those words. "Leafwhisk!" before she could walk out of the tent, Ayaan called out her name hurriedly. 
The lady stopped and looked at him, her face still cold. "What?" she asked.
"I am sorry," Ayaan said while looking into her green enchanting eyes. Only then she smiled and said, "no problem, but be careful next time." 
Ayaan looked at her back and cold sweat poured down from his temple. Though she looked gentle and weak and carefree, Ayaan knew that she was most difficult to deal with in his group.
As she walked out of the tent Ayaan could only smile bitterly. He turned towards the hamster again. "Am the only one who can touch you?" he inquired. 
"Yes," replied the little animal with a lack of interest.
"Can you live only on my body or also somewhere else? I mean can you walk around without my help?" 
"No," 
"So what should I call you?"
"Call me handsome."
"..."
Ayaan looked at the little creature and couldn't find it handsome from anywhere. "You don't look handsome to me." he blurted in the end.
"How could an ugly creature like you understand my handsomeness?" hopped the animal furiously at Ayaan.
"Yeah, yeah," Ayaan rolled his eyes at the hamster. The girls also chuckled at the side when they heard their conversation.
The Isobel remembered something and asked, "you are the spirit of the pagoda so can you still change the physic of the person and give them powerful cultivation?"
Everyone's eyes glittered hearing her question, and they turned towards the hamster.
The little animal looked at everyone and knew that its time to shine had arrived. He stood on its back legs and puffed the chest out. Then grinned. "If you want to know… call me Handsome."

Now Ayaan was sure that this hamster was just a child. Though he didn't know why someone made this little child of a hamster, the spirit of the pagoda. There must be some reason, but he had something else to ask, so he pushed the question for another time.
"Why do you want to be called Hansome?" Ayaan asked helplessly.
"Because I am handsome," replied the spirit on Ayaan's palm.
"Alright, Handsome, can you please tell us if you can still use the abilities of the pagoda," asked Ayaan with a bitter smile.
"Hehe, remember from now on, I am Handsome," Handsome said.
"Now tell us if you can or not!" Ayaan was at his limit and had the urge to once more smack this damn hamster.
"Hehe, see this," chuckled Handsome and shouted. "Appear!"
Ayaan looked in front of him and his eyes turned wide because in front of the hamster appeared a screen. He saw three options on the screen: one was Status; the second was Physics; the third was Cultivation Techniques. At the very top of the screen, Ayaan saw a name: Handsome.
"You have a system?" Ayaan asked in astonishment.
"What system? This is what I gain after I evolved...cough I mean after I became your servant." Said Handsome embarrassedly. Then he looked at Ayaan and asked cunningly. "Do you know why my name is Handsome?"
Ayaan looked at his smirking face and asked, "why?"
"Because you have approved it, muahahaha!"

Everyone looked at the little hamster in Ayaan's hand speechlessly. "So that's why you were insisting for Ayaan to call you Handsome?" Rebecca asked.
"Muahahaha!"

The sun was rising.

Yuudai panted hard.

His body was very tired.

It didn't live upto his expectations.

It had only been a few minutes since he started jogging and there he was, on the verge of collapsing.

'Fuck. So weak. Good thing today's sunday.'

His heart thumped hard and breathing felt painful. He wanted to sleep.

He slowly got up, and tried to go back to his apartment, but he didn't know when or why, he just fell down.

He felt pain yet comfort. He didn't want to move.

He pulled out his cell phone and called an ambulance for his unconscious friend, Yuudai.

Yuudai slowly opened his eyes. He still felt weak, albeit a little better than before.

He saw a guy sitting beside him. 

'Who the fuck is this? What the fuck is happening? Where the fuck am I?' Yuudai wondered.

Seeing his friend wake up, Ken spoke up, "Yuudai-kun! Are you okay? How did you faint? Do you feel any pain?" 

"Wha--" Yuudai tried to speak.

"Ahem. Please refrain from shouting." The doctor looked at Ken sternly.

After the latter apologized, the doctor opened his mouth, "Tsukuda-san, you fainted from excessive physical activity, am I correct?"

Yuudai nodded weakly.

"Hmm. You do know about your body condition. If you do not want to end up like your mother, do not exceed your physical limits. It is for your own good. If not for your friend, your condition would be much worse." The doctor looked at the young man.

"Kaneki-san, I'll be taking my leave. Please tell your friend about everything else." The doctor left, leaving the two alone in the room.

'Kaneki? Weird name. Reminds me of Tokyo ghoul. Heh.' 

Both of them remained silent for a few minutes, before Yuudai broke the silence, "Thank you for bringing me to the hospital."

"Ah- No! You don't need to thank me. It was only obvious for me to do so." Kaneki replied.

'Who is this guy anyways? Damn, I still don't know much about the situation. If this guy was a friend of the former Yuudai, I could get more information.'

"Can you please pass me my spectacles?"

"Hm? Your eyesight is becoming worse, Yuudai-kun. You should go out more often without hurting your body." Kaneki made Yuudai wear his spectacles.

'Hn. As the way it looks, he knows a bit about me. He may be an acquaintance.'

Yuudai was about to speak when Kaneki informed, "You are free to leave the hospital after three hours. The doctor prescribed some pills and told you to rest."

"Oh, I understand." Yuudai looked at the ceiling fan.

"Yuudai-kun, how is hime-chan?" Kaneki questioned.

"That hamster? I don't really care about it. It is a waste. I'll probably sell it."

'Yes. The old Yuudai had a pet hamster. He loved it too much. He spent almost all of his monthly allowances on the fucking thing. He bought clothes, food, mini houses, pillows, mini playground, all for that hamster. That is the reason he himself lived in a poor condition. Well, that's gonna change now.'

"Well, take care then. You should rest. Call me if you want anything." Kaneki stood up and left Yuudai alone.

'Yuudai's mother died a few years back because of her weak body. I inherited this trait from her. The father is now a philanderer. He became pretty depressed after his wife's death. If the diary is correct, he is on his international tour right now. I will at least live a normal life after selling the damned hamster.'

Yuudai stared at the clock and counted every second. He wanted to get out of the hospital and do some things.

After what happened the other day with the darkness hunter and the ring, I had a dream right after it and all I saw was this path light by this blue green light when I was near it. As soon as I took a step onto the path, I was sent to this house where I believed that the darkness hunter kept hiding from the darkness. I read the handbook that the darkness hunter gave me and the journal of serter that I found, to pass the time. The journalist did speak of this house but the handbook says that this house was forbidden for the darkness hunter. I wake up from this when this light shows up and look at the map, to see this light drawing a path to this path that was not on the map. "The light will show you the path that the darkness will not show and the first step to save the land"
The hamster was sleeping on my shirt that I destroy and I want up to get water to boiling, since I use the rest of the water up somehow. I make a fire and have water boiling on it, to clean up and to drink. The little guy wake up and get some water for the both if us to drink then use the water to clean up a little. As soon as the little guy was done eating and drinking some water, I get clean up then I desire to clean the hamster up then when I was drying this guy up, when my eye flash. I get up and put the hamster somewhere safe, get myself ready to handle this darkness hunter. This darkness hunter was not friendly like the other I met and I attack first before they can, it was a good battle between us and the darkness hunter was turn right into dust within 3 move. I want and pack up before I move on, the hamster want into my pocket then I get out this area but my gut feeling. That the path draw on the map, I'm supply to follow it and when I get to this path, it light up. I was in a small hurry because a another darkness hunter was going after me and I take a step on to the path then run as fast I can down this path, while I holding on the packet with the hamster init. 
I get to the end of the path and hide behind the tree watching the darkness hunter going on this path but ending up turning to dust as soon as it steps into the past. My breath was gone and I sat back on the tree, after knowing that this darkness hunter can't go on this path. I took a slip of water or was going to do it but I think I forgot the bottle back there but I was not going back after what happened. I checked to see if the little guy was okay and the  hamster was okay but I did leave the bag hamster here while I rushed back to the old camp set to get my bottle of water back. I went back to the old camp set, watching out for darkness hunters and I found my bottle then I hurried back to the place I was at. I got my stuff up and found a ground to camp on that was not a path, when I made camp this little guy that I found, walked up to and lay down on my lap. I was only with this little guy for 2 days and he is a wild animal but I notice that, this little guy can't live on his own. I desire to keep this guy since his leg can't barely move and he gets hard fast, so I desire that this guy is mine. I look for the little guy as a boy or a girl and this little guy was a male but I didn't know what to name him. I will have to thank of a name of this little guy now.
