Hey everyone, I hope you're having a wonderful day. The news I'm delivering may not come across as good for many, but I have to be up front and let everyone what's going on. 

The Anime Trope System web novel versions will remain on hiatus for a little longer due to a few factors.

--Sadly, I have to state the first one: the Amazon algorithm. You can actually find posts about it in many facebook groups such as Harem Lit, Gamelit Society, LitRPG Books. I may post about it in the Team Stone's facebook group. Basically, the highest review count I've got is 30 reviews for volume 1. Putting that into perspective: I've got about 1.1k followers (1.1million views) on Royal road, 7.1k on Web novel (with 3 million + views as it claims)...but like no Amazon reviews XD. --As a result, the algorithm is more likely to show and recommend other books (Including their search engines, googles, Kindle Unlimited, etc.) 

While none of it is anyone's problem but mine XD, this still hurts a lot financially. Realistically, remaining full time author may not possible, let's be real. November's looking grave.

 

-The first pause was me simply taking a short break. I pretty much wrote ATS for a year straight, this one was mandatory. [Even the ******* chapter releases have slowed to weekly (which will probably get back to normal soon, if not, today or tomorrow.]

Garroth looked around the house for his assigned room. Fortunately, Felicity was there to lead him the way and showed him the way to his room door. Before she left him be, she said to him, "Here you go! Feel free to make yourself at home, Garroth. Just make sure to join us later at the campfire outside, okay?" He gave her a slight nod, and entered his cabin room.
There was a lot of free space in his new room. There were several window frames, along with a small miniature table with two dark grey plush chairs next to it. A small, round, steel chandelier hung from the ceiling. The bed was very large, neatly organized, too, with a variety of several pillows, too. Dante, you certainly picked the right cabin for this trip. I'm gonna enjoy staying in this room. He put his bag down beside his bed and landed right into it. It felt very warm and soft, too. I'll certainly feel fine sleeping in here tonight.
Several thoughts went through his head as he laid down on the bed. He was thinking about his school life, and how his family would've reacted if they found out that he had nearly been kicked from cross country. There was an incident the week before with one of the guys on his team, Ian, but that guy was one of the biggest douchebags in the school to date. One day, at practice, he got on Garroth's nerves just a little too much, and eventually, it broke out into a full-blown fight between the two. They didn't get very far without getting stopped, though. Thankfully, neither of them did any significant damage to each other, so the school decided to just give them a little suspension from cross country for a while.
I've been trying to keep this hidden from my parents for the past week already. I don't think they've found out yet, so that's at least fortunate. Although I'm pretty sure my dad is gonna be hella pissed off if he finds out about it. He was also thinking about Felicity, too. Ever since she became closer to him in middle school, and the fact that she also helped him with trying to be more extroverted, he's started to have some slight feelings for her. I can't really say that I don't want us to be more than friends, but I'm also not sure if I'm ready for that kind of relationship, either.
He also wasn't sure if she felt the same way about him, either. She never really told him whether or not she was interested in him. Garroth was trying to gain the courage to go and tell her how he felt, but for some reason, something was always holding him back from it. It was very complicated to explain.
About a couple hours later, after Garroth decided to check more of the cabin out, it was getting dark. He was in the living room now, trying to read a book next to the indoor fireplace when Dante rushed over to him and gave him the news. "Hey, Garroth, come outside. We need you to help set up the campfire," he told Garroth. "What exactly do you need me for?", he told Dante. Dante replied, "Kylie and Hank are getting the firewood ready, Felicity's getting the chocolate bars and graham crackers, and YOU are in charge of roasting the marshmallows."
Alright, what's the worst that could happen? "Okay, I'll help you roast the marshmallows. But what are you going to do, Dante?", Garroth asked. "Oh, I'll be helping set up the campfire. That way we can tell each other horror stories around the campfire. Now, come go outside. We're going now," Dante replied. They proceeded to leave the luxurious cabin and headed outside, where they headed to the back to meet up with the others.
Garroth was surprised to see that the campfire area they were setting up was very well-built. There was a well-structured, round, stone brick fire ring, where Kylie and Hank were carefully placing the firewood into it. Felicity pulled out a lighter, and after a few tries, successfully lit the fire. It took quite a few minutes for the flames to grow and kindle, but eventually, Garroth could feel the heat coming from the large, dark orange flames of the fire. It was relaxing, perfect for November weather, and for the dark, too.
Dante brought out a portable chair for everyone in the group, and each took a chair and placed it near the fireplace. Once everyone gathered around the fire, Felicity started speaking. "Okay, I have the chocolate and the graham cracks ready. Garroth, please hand out the marshmallows to everyone, please," she said. I was given the bag of marshmallows, and I gave two each to everyone for starters. Hank handed out the marshmallow roasting sticks to everyone, and the group started roasting their marshmallows.
After waiting for their treats to finish roasting, Felicity passed out the chocolate and graham crackers for everyone to eat. When Garroth made his s'more and took a bite out of it, he could instantly tell that he slightly burnt it. Still, the gooey, tasty sensation was enjoyable, though. I really need to learn not to let it roast for too long, though. While everyone was enjoying their s'mores, Dante decided to start talking. "Anyone down for a horror story? I've got a good one, if anyone's interested in it." The others figured it wouldn't mean any harm, so they agreed to it. "Only if it's an actually good horror story," Hank said, "because I've heard plenty of shit horror stories from you before."
That was partially true, Garroth admitted. Dante wasn't exactly known for being the best story teller among us, so he didn't really have too high of hopes for this story. Felicity seemed more than willing to give Dante a try, though. "Go ahead! Tell us," she said, muffled as she was still eating her s'more. Kylie just sighed, clearly not expecting too much from Dante. But Garroth was willing to give his friend a shot before judging his story. "Fire away. I hope it's a good one," he told Dante. Then, Dante cleared his throat and began to tell his story.
"It was around twenty years ago when this little story happened, right here in Hurricane. Of course, many claim it was real, while others said it was mass-hysteria, but I beg to differ. Something really terrifying happened here all those years ago. Let me tell you about, 'The Twisted Ones'. Now, before we begin there, let me ask you this: have you ever heard of a place called Freddy Fazbear's Pizza?"
Everybody else just groaned and cringed at the mention of this. Garroth wasn't exactly too familiar with it, but there was an incident several years ago involving the kidnapping and murder of at least eight children at two Freddy Fazbear pizzeria locations: one in Cannon Falls, the other in Hurricane. Out of those eight, only one was confirmed to be murdered because the police found the child's dead body outside of the pizzeria in the alleyway. The rest were never seen nor heard from again, and many rumors came afterwards about what happened to them. They searched for the killer, but rumor has it that the murderer was never found, either. Just gone.
Even years after, some of the families of the victims had trouble moving on from those terrible events. Nowadays, the company that owned the brand, Fazbear Entertainment, was more focused on making video games and establishing marketable animatronics now. There were still some pizzeria locations, but there hasn't been a reopening of a Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria in either Hurricane or Cannon Falls in years. Not after the children incident. Or at least that's what he heard of.
Sure, it wasn't something to joke about, but other than the child deaths, none of the others really anything else about the brand seriously. No one except Dante, that is. "Seriously? You think we're gonna be scared of a robot furry horror story, Dante? I know you're better than this," Garroth told him mockingly. But Dante wasn't laughing at all. In fact, he was dead serious. Felicity wasn't laughing anymore, either, for that matter. "Oh, there's so much more you don't know," Dante said with a menacing smile. "I promise you, this story is much more serious than you probably think it is."
"Sometime in the mid 90s, I think, there were stories about strange reports of people seeing sick versions of the animatronics at Freddy's. Doesn't sound too scary at first, right? It probably doesn't...until you get into the details. Whatever these robots were, they were anything but the loveable mascots of Freddy's that everyone was familiar with. These versions were practically a far cry from those designs. They were like something you would only see in your worst nightmares. Think of those mascots, but with much larger, wider jaws, filled with five sharks worth of teeth; sharp, large, and deadly enough to easily tear through human flesh and bone, with long hook-like claws that would put Freddy Kreuger to shame; sometimes, even appearing frighteningly flesh-like. Most of them looked like nightmarish versions of the original mascots, but there was one in particular that was very different from the others." Dante made a dramatic pause before continuing.
"Some people said there was even a wolf among them, too. It was apparently mistaken for a werewolf at first, if you can believe it. From what I've heard, it didn't even look robotic. It apparently looked life-like, like a real werewolf. I don't know too much about that one, though, sorry guys."
Garroth had a very hard time believing a word of what Dante said. Sure, the murdered children incident was downright dark, but compared to that, it seemed like Dante was making his story up. This isn't exactly a very believable story, you know, Garroth thought. "And how exactly do you know all of this?", Felicity asked Dante. "Seems very strange that you know so much about this so-called story."
"I don't know the whole story, you guys. My little brother just did a project for his class about this, and he asked for my help on it. I remember a lot of his research that he told me about," Dante told them. "Now, there have been a few strange deaths that were believed to have been caused by these guys. A few of the bodies that were found were really messed up. They were viciously scarred and mauled, with all sorts of deep, bloody, brutal claw marks and cuts all over them. That's about all I know. Other than that, there's no other physical proof that these things exist. They just...disappeared after that, for all I know."
Kylie was yawning, already bored of Dante's story, but Garroth for some reason was looking back at the forest behind them, nervously. He wasn't exactly moved by Dante's story, but it did make him a bit more cautious of the woods. The darkness made him worried that something was around, lurking in the shadows, stalking him, waiting for the right moment to attack its unsuspecting prey. Just to be sure.
Felicity spoke up now. "Well, Dante, that was actually a huge improvement for you, so thanks for the story. If anyone else would like to tell a horror story, now is the time." The group didn't feel like telling any more stories, though, so for the rest of the bonfire they mainly talked about each other, except for Garroth, who was still acting kind of paranoid, anxiously checking his surroundings.

What is the thing that you fear most? Is it something like arachnophobia, or is it something...deeper than that? That is a question that our protagonists are faced to answer in this series. Garroth's fear of nature has haunted him since his childhood, and it comes back to bite him hard. Kathryn has always been uneasy trying to cope with the demons inside of her head. Dr. Hatch's fear of losing control has created a monster of unpredictable proportions. But in the Five Nights At Freddy's universe, fear is a thing that corrupts the human soul...

Welcome to a mini-novella Fazbear Frights fan work I'm working on. I do not own the rights to FNAF or the Fazbear Frights Series, or the Twisted FNAF Series (The Silver Eyes, The Twisted Ones, The Fourth CLoset), or any of its canonical characters/terms/places. Hope you enjoy it!

Chapter 4
I spent the entire Sunday finishing my make up work. By the time I was done with it all, it was already 9:21 pm.
Leaning back against my chair, I stretched and yawned. I walked over to my suitcase, my school uniform was already in there.
There were two versions of the uniform in there, there was the girl uniform with pants and one with a skirt.
I walked over to my closet, I grabbed a pair of boot sneakers I bought from the yesterdays shopping trip. I also grabbed 3 shirts, 3 pairs of pants, underwear, and socks.
I zipped up the suitcases' main zipper and opened the smaller ones, there were a Kindle and charger in one. I grabbed them and plugged them in.
There was also a phone in another small zipper, I grabbed that and dug around my room to find another charger. There was one in the nightstand. I plugged it in and left it there to charge.
I went into the bathroom and took a shower and brushed my teeth. After doing what I needed to do in the bathroom, I crawled into bed, deciding not to read today. I snuggled in deeper into my blankets and fell asleep within a few minutes.
I woke up right when someone jumped on top of me, I grunted and peered at the person on top of me.
Sam poked my cheek, "Aren't you always up earlier than me? Why are you still sleeping?"
I sighed, swatting her hand away from my cheek, "I forgot to set the alarm." I looked at the alarm clock, 5:30 am, ugh, so early in the morning.
Sam rolled off of me, "Okay." She turned around and stared at me then asked, "Can you please make eggs for me again?"
I nodded, "Sure, just let me change first." I rolled out of bed and stumbled into the closet, I grabbed the school uniform that was hung up for me to wear. Pulling off my clothes, I slipped into the school uniform and walked out of the closet, running my hands threw my hair to tame it because I was too lazy to brush it.
I walked out of my room and went to the kitchen. I grabbed the stuff I needed and started making the eggs. Almost 10 minutes later, I slid the eggs onto the plates and put the dirty dishes into the sink.
Grabbing the plates, I walked into the dining room and placed one plate in front of my sister.
She smiled, "Thanks." She ate a mouth full of food, saying, "I forgot to ask yesterday, but when did you learn to make eggs? I don't think I've ever seen you make food before."
My mind went blank at the mention of making food, Alice had no memories of it, I cleared my throat, "Well, uhh." I thought about the note Mrs.Dalton wrote, "Well, I looked at the recipe for making breakfasts. I learned it from there."
Lie lie, I'm telling a lie, I learned it while I was living alone. I thought everyone knew how to make eggs guess I was wrong.
She looked surprised, "Wow, you made edible eggs on your first try. Good job."
I nodded, "Yep. Thanks, I guess."
After we finished our food, brushed our teeth, and grabbed whatever else we needed, a driver came and dropped us off at school.
It took about one hour or so to get there, I grabbed my bag, our driver, his name was Nathan, raised an eyebrow, "Miss, do you want me to take that?"
I shook my head, smiling at him, "No thanks, I can manage it, and you already have to take Sam's."
He smiled, "Alright, Miss, if you insist."
When we got to Sam's dorm, I parted ways with them and made my way to my dorm.
The dorms here were kind of like small apartment complexes, the dorm buildings housed both boys and girls, but they had to stay in their own rooms for obvious reasons, but of course, that rule was always being broken. Each of the buildings had a name. The one Sam was in was called Alastair Hall, and the one I was in was called Astor Hall. There were ten in all, Alastair, Astor, Caswell, Bridgeham, Livingston, Huntington, and more that I/Alice could not remember.
Each dorm contained one person, two if you wanted. The max amount of people per dorm was four people. But that costs a lot more than the one person dorms because they were bigger.
There was one room in each one of the dorm buildings no one wanted to live in for some reason, the attic. That is where I/Alice was housed, it wasn't bad at all according to her. You couldn't hear people walking above you or people playing music, ahem, other things I shall not mention.
I dragged my suitcase up to the attic, I opened the door to it and put my suitcase down. I sighed, every day will be leg day from now on I guess. It is a good thing, this body needs more exercise.
Taking my phone out of the suitcase, I looked at the time, I still had a little less than an hour before class.
Walking around the room, I sat down on the desk that was right in front of a window, tons of memories flashed threw my mind while I sat in this room.
Memories of Alice doing homework, studying, reading, writing, this dorm was like a second home to her it seems.
I took out the clothes from the suitcase and walked over to her drawers, opening them, I saw there weren't many clothes in there. It was all uniforms, underwear, socks, and some t-shirts and pants, those looked like sleepwear.
I put the clothes I brought with me into the drawers, according to how she had placed them.
I looked at the clock on the wall, 30 minutes until class. I had no idea what class periods she had. I thought about it for a second before the list of her classes popped into my head.
1st period: Physical Education (this was because she didn't know what else to choose)
2nd period: Calculus
10 Minute Break
3rd period: Biochemistry
4th period: History
Lunch
5th period: Advanced Literature
6th period: French
Huh, nice list. Biochemistry, the same thing as me. This schedule shouldn't be that hard, I had all her memories after all.
I glanced at the clock again, oh crap, I only had 10 minutes left before class, I need to get to the first period and it was a 15-minute walk away. I grabbed my backpack with my textbooks in it and rushed out of the dorm and to the first period. Willing myself not to be late.

Reincarnated Into A Girl is about a college student, Winston Zach, who had an ordinary everyday life and was basically a normal guy, there was nothing special about him. But one fateful day, as he was walking to the bookstore after classes, minding his own business, he suddenly got hit by a car. When he woke up in his hospital bed, he had been reincarnated into a girl, and her name was Alice Morton. She was a girl born into a rich, and loving family. Her life was the complete and utter opposite of how Winston's life used to be. Winston will need to get used to life as Alice Morton, no matter how strange it was to him.

Note: I didn't know what genre to select for this novel because he is a dude that got reincarnated into a girl. I don't know if he counts as a girl or guy (people had different opinions on this so I just chose the one with a Teen genre). So, sorry if the genre (or the gender) isn't correct. They didn't have the same list of options for the genre for male leads as they do for female leads and vice versa. I find this really annoying. A Kindle Fire is actually a really great tablet. I owned "one" quite a few years ago and for some odd reason it always seemed to break whenever it was nearing the end of it's warranty. The warranty on it was for a year and each time it broke, they just sent a new one with a renewed warranty. They also always included a new charger. 

The name of the Kindle actually got updated each time it was replaced to (Name)'s 2nd/3rd/4th/... Kindel Fire. 

Kindle Fire: Very durable, very affordable, very useful and practical, the best warranty you could wish for

I had mine 9 years ago, but I'd still consider it a good option. In the span of ~3/4 years I think I ended up on a 5th Kindle.

When the flash of light was gone Cole and Leo saw something amazing. Chloe's scratch marks were gone and she was no longer bleeding. But at the same time something bad happened Crystal was passed out on the floor. Cole and Leo ran up to crystal. They tryed waking her up. Chloe woke up and said " What happened?" Chloe then looked over to see Crystal passed out on the floor. Then Chloe noticed that her scratch marks were gone and she wasn't bleeding anymore. Chloe got up and walked over to crystal. Cole and Leo was worried they were scared because crystal was still passed out. Chloe picked up crystal and told Cole and Leo " Follow me to the medical den." They walked over to the medical den. Kindle the medical wolf said" what happened to her?" Chloe said " I don't quite know but I think the boys could explain." Cole and Leo told Kindle what happened. Kindle and Chloe was shocked to hear what happened. Kindle said " I don't know how to handle this but just let her rest she is probably very drained." Chloe Said " Thanks Kindle we will head back to our den Again thanks for the help."Then Chloe carried crystal back to the den and Cole,leo followed. When they were back at the den Chloe put crystal down to let her rest.Leo asked " mom is something wrong with crystal?" Chloe looked at Leo and said " No dear crystal is just drained from using all that energy to heal me now dear just lay down next to your sister and go to sleep." Leo and Cole layed next to crystal to keep her warm and cuddle up. Chloe was so scared because of the state Crystal was in. Out of no where Crystal began to glow and slowly lift up in the air. Chloe got up and tryed to grab Crystal but she got shocked. Chloe didn't know what to do in that moment. Chloe felt hopeless she was so concerned on what was going on with crystal.But when Chloe was watching Crystal float she noticed something off she couldn't believe it at all. Crystal was changing....

　　黄梦寒以前用过室友的kindle，在写论文的时候，需要查阅大量的文献，所以有一个长时间观看也不会伤眼的电子墨水屏的电子阅读设备，是很幸福的一件事情。
　　但是用kindle的时候，有一点快把黄梦寒烦死了，最后还是有用回了电脑。
　　黄梦寒收集到的有很多pdf人资料，放到kindle上面，需要几分钟才能同步过去，这还好。
　　但是在6英寸上面阅读pdf的体验实在是……一言难尽。
　　竖屏看，能把人的眼睛给瞅瞎，伤不伤眼不知道，肯定能锻炼视力，视力不好的都看不清楚那么小的文字，黄梦寒也是在那个时候才真正理解了一个成语的意思——蝇头小字。
　　那文字真的和苍蝇的脑袋似的，就那么一小点，几乎微不可查。
　　既然竖屏看有这个问题，那就横屏看吧。
　　横屏看文字倒是大了一些，但是有另一个问题也很烦人。
　　pdf的文档是一页一页的，横屏看的时候每屏显示的文字多余一页的三分之一，但是小于二分之一。
　　kindle上面的软件整的，一页需要点击三次，前两页还好，但是到了第三页，他最下面是当前页的最下面，最上面显示的文字不是第二页的最后，是第二页的中间的内容。
　　每次看到一页的最后一屏的时候，黄梦寒为了找到自己看到了哪里，都需要花费很长的时间去寻找，用户体验极差。
　　还不如我国的一个叫做多看的软件做的好，多看这个软件，他是粗粮公司开发的一个软件，可以在水果手机和安卓手机上面使用。
　　多看这个软件在手机上有连续观看的选项，开启之后就能在手机上面连续的看下一页，不会遇到kindle上面那种尴尬的问题，一页必须分三屏才可以。

　　显然第二智慧科技生产的这种叫做智慧电子阅读器的产品，考虑到了kindle上面的那种不合理的设计，根据这种新型屏幕的特点给出了两个解决方案。
　　和手机一样，第一就是可以连续翻页，第二就是可以手动一点点的滑动。
　　“没有数据线，如果我有一些资源，怎么传过来？”黄梦寒向店员询问。
　　“这个简单，你看到了首页的个人图书馆了吗？这里，对就是这里……”店员一边说一边给黄梦寒指出来在哪里进入个人图书馆。
　　“这里有两个，一个是云端的，一个是本地的。云端的图书馆顾名思义，这里面存放的书籍都是在大后端，而本地的就是从云端下载到本地的书籍。”
　　“至于怎么把书放到云端，有好几种方式可以进行，第一也可以利用想kindle那样类似的，用邮件推送的方式，把一个邮箱加入到信任邮箱列表，然后用这个邮箱向一个自定义的邮箱发带有附件的邮件就可以自动同步到云端，这样的速度是毫秒级别的，不想kindle那样，需要十多分钟。”
　　“第二种也是很常见的，就是公众号那样的，在深信上看到什么好的文章可以直接推送过来，不过我们做的更广泛一些，可以在深信上面也可以在球球上面，直接绑定了自己的账号，然后退送过去，当然了，时间也是毫秒级别的。”
　　“第三种，可以用球球账号，加一个固定的好友账号，然后把书籍或者其他附件直接发给他，发完之后，就可以在电子阅读器上的云端图书馆这里看到他的身影，只需要点击一下下载就能下载到本机。”
　　“第四种，如果你使用的是生物计算机，那么在里面的浏览器里面，通过简单的设置就能在右键菜单里面看到推送到电子阅读器的选项。”
　　“第五种，如果使用的是生物计算机，系统级别就支持推送到电子阅读器，如果你的这个账号注册过电子阅读器，右键点击电子阅读器可以识别的文件格式的文件时候，就会有一个选项是推送到电子阅读器上面，可以通过这样的方式来进行推送，当然了，如果你嫌这个菜单碍眼，可以通过简单的操作去掉的。”
　　“那这样的推送的方式还真是推陈出新了，没有想到第二智慧科技居然把一个简单的提送功能都玩出花来了。”黄梦寒对于这点还是给予了肯定。
　　“这些书城里面的书版权怎么说，如果购买的话怎么购买？”黄梦寒问了她关心的另一个问题。
　　“书的版权问题，你不用担心，这些全部是正版的，没有盗版，这些版权都是由我们的王路王总还有杨翰林杨总和很多家电子出版社共同讨论的结果。”
　　“购买的方式有两种，第一种就是单独购买，比如你就喜欢某一本书，那么你可以单独购买这个本书，电子书的价格比实体书的价格便宜很多，原因就是因为实体书需要印刷、装订、传输、放到实体店或者网点售卖，中间经过的环节太多了，每一个环节都是成本的增加。”
　　“第二种方式，也是现在有人正在尝试的模式，那就是包月或者包年的读书服务。这种方式非常简单，和现在很多的视频播放软件类似，通过冲会员的方式，可以观看付费的影片，这个服务就是那种意思，只要交钱，就能看一些付费的书籍。”
　　“第一种方式我懂，但是第二种方式我知道有一些弊端，比如kindle也有这个服务，他们的名字叫做 Kindle Unlimited。
　　但是上面有很多的书籍都没有加入到这个服务中，也就是我交钱了很多书籍仍然看不了，不知道你们对这个怎么看？”

    众多小米高管你一言我一语的讨论过后，不少高管的目光，都悄然汇聚在坐在雷总右侧的人物，方哲身上。
　　如果说雷总是小米的创始人兼主心骨的话，那么方哲这个小米的联合创始人兼首席顾问，就是小米的定海神针，从小米创办至今，不管多大的困难和难题，只要放在方哲面前，都能被解决掉。
　　许多高管心里嘀咕，要不是第一代小米pad产品研讨会方总有事没在场，第一代小米pad又何至于失败？
　　雷总也察觉到高管们的神色和态度变化，不过他内心对此早就习以为常，别说他们，就连自己，不也眼巴巴的等着方哲给出意见么，不然何必特意请方哲过来。
　　方哲对高管们的态度变化若有所觉，待到会议室内的讨论声小了以后，他缓缓开口说道：
　　“刚才大家讨论的东西，都很有道理，在分析小米pad的产品定位之前，我想问大家一个问题，大家有没有听过或使用过，kindle这款产品？”
　　“kindle?方总说的是亚马逊旗下的那款电子书阅读器吗？”
　　“当然用过，我每天中午休息都会用它看半个小时电子书，现在就在我办公桌上放着呢！”
　　“听过，挺好用的。”
　　“kindle对电子书的支持不要太好，有种纸质书的质感。”
　　提到kindle，许多高管都赞不绝口，kindle的电子书阅读体验，比什么ipad，各种pad都要强大太多。
　　与此同时，一些高管心里也冒出疑惑，方总，不会想让小米pad学者kindle做电子书阅读器吧？
　　“看来知道的人还不少，kindle，是一款优秀的电子书阅读器，但实际上，我们也可以把它看做pad的一个子分类，苹果的ipad带火了pad市场，但没谁规定，pad的设计，系统，内容等等各方面，都要跟着苹果ipad去做！”方哲说道。
　　许多高管若有所思，听方总这意思，方哲属意小米pad，像kindle一样，从子分类或一个子功能做突破。
　　“做产品有两种做法，一种是做加法，一种是做减法。
　　做加法，求的是大而全，是希望满足所有用户的需求，这样的产品越做越复杂，越做越繁琐，不管是Android系统还是ios系统，经过这么多年的迭代更新，都已经衍生出太多冗余的东西。
　　我们买一款新的ipad，上面原装的应用和功能，有80%都是我们平常用不到的。
　　做减法，求的是极简模式，专注于核心功能，苹果的创始人乔布斯，他生前就是一个专注于极简模式的人，苹果早期的许多设计，都堪称极简模式的典范。
　　最经典的，便是苹果iphone，首先抛弃了手机按键，只保留了一个home键，这在当时的全球手机行业，都是极为大胆和经典的创新。
　　做加法和做减法两种产品思路各有利弊，前者适用于一款产品满足用户的核心需求后，慢慢满足用户的冗余需求，后者则适用于一款产品从零开始设计和制作的时候。
　　大家应该都知道，我们小米第一代MIUI，就是采用做减法的产品思路做出来的！”
　　方哲提到MIUI的历史，引起了雷总和部分元老级小米高管的共鸣。
　　小米创业的时候除了一帮人一无所有，他们只能由简入难，先做MIUI操作系统，再做硬件，而做MIUI系统，同样并非易事，Andriod系统那么多功能，靠他们团队内的几个工程师开发，没个一年半载的，怎么可能做出一个完整的Android系统？
　　是以，最开始的时候，MIUI的设计思路便是做减法，所有非用户迫切需要的核心功能，都不做！
　　也因此，第一代MIUI用了短短几个月的时间便做了出来，随后也因为它的极简模式，广受许多刷机爱好者的好评，待到后来小米手机1发布的时候，MIUI已经在全球积累了上百万用户，为小米手机的一炮而红，奠定了不小的基础。
　　“用做减法的思路做小米pad!”众多高管思索着方哲的这句话。
　　方哲的思路不可谓不创新，不可谓不大胆，要知道目前市场主流的pad，几乎都是照着苹果ipad的模子做的，pad跟手机采用同样的操作系统，pad几乎就是一个大屏幕的，阉割了部分功能的手机，如果按照方总所说的再做减法？又该怎么做呢？
　　“在我看来，小米pad只需要满足大部分pad用户的核心需求即可，其他的需求，没必要在意和满足。
　　目前市场上，用户购买pad的主要需求是什么？你们谁能告诉我答案？”方哲发问道。
　　“玩游戏！”
　　“看视频！”
　　“聊天！”
　　“看书！”
　　不同的高管给出了不同的答案，方哲抬手压下高管们纷乱不一的答案，点名小米市场部的负责人说道：“你来说，我想你提前应该做过市场调查了？”
　　被点名的小米市场部负责人点点头说道：“是的，就在这次研讨会之前，我们还随机对2000名不同品牌的平板电脑用户做了问卷调查。
　　其中57.1%用户，使用平板电脑的主要目的是为了看视频，排名第二和第三的，分别是移动游戏和网购，而在女性用户中，主要使用平板电脑看视频的比例更高达68.3%。”
　　嘶！68.3%，市场部的负责人说到这儿的时候，许多机智的小米高管，已经猜到了方总想说什么。
　　看视频！这才是目前用户购买平板电脑的主要用途！
　　看着小米高管们一个个若有所思的样子，方哲提点道：
　　“很多用户，尤其是女性用户，购买pad的主要目的就是为了看视频，手机屏幕太小，电脑携带不方便，pad是看网络视频的最佳工具，不管是在家里，公司，地铁，床上，沙发上甚至卫生间，任何有网络的地方，都可以用pad追剧看视频。
　　所以小米pad的需求和产品定位就很明确了，就是专门用来看视频和追剧的，只要把这块内容做好了，小米就足以在市场上站稳脚跟甚至取得不小的成绩！”
