"Why is he not here yet?" murmured Hanabi.
She was here, standing in the qualifiers compartment at the battle field.
The field was packed with ninjas of different villages cramping up every nook and corner of the field. There were some from Konoha, Kiri, Kumo, Iwa and the most eye grabbing Suna.
Everyone of the participants had come along with all the staff and audience. The chief guest along with the Kages' were also on their way to the field. The only ones missing were Reo and Sasuke.

"Why is Sasuke not here yet?" exclaimed Sakura in the audience up above the participants compartment, "He was training with Kakashi Sensei. Did he also get into the habit of arriving late?"
"Calm down Sakura," said a woman siting with her. Her facial features resembled with Sakura and it could be seen in a glance that the mature lady was none other than her mother.
"Mom, I feel a bit restless. This is the finals and there will be Hokage judging the matches. How could he be running late on such an occasion." said Sakura in a worried manner.
"Honey, have some faith in your teammate. It is faith that binds us all with one another. You must trust him. He is sure to have his reasons of not coming uptill now. Right?" comforted her mother.
Sakura nodded on the surface but still her heart was jumping up and down. She was worried for the seal Sasuke had on his neck and grew tense as she thought further and further down the line.

"Hanabi remember that you must perform better than Neiji, and in case you get a match against him, don't worry and take him heads on. He won't try to land an attack on you and hence, you could easily finish him off." said Hiashi as he walked Hanabi towards the resting place for all the participants.
"And remember," Hiashi lowered his voice as he continued, "if you fight against someone else, try to give it your all. I will be watching over you from the stands."
"Um," replied Hanabi with a weak voice, "understood."
"Good." said Hiashi as he walked back to the stands where all the audience were stationed.
"But," Hanabi looked over at the entrance, as her voice contained worry and  anxiety, "Reo..."

"I am looking forwards to today's performance."
"Yeah, today would be the very day our village chunins would be selected. But why did they have to hold such a bif competition?"

And the other was representing the Suna Village. His face was hidden from the crowd, but everyone with a good eyesight could sense that he was a powerful individual.

"Hey Naruto," a voice came from his back, "the instructors came down and told me convey that you would be finals will be started with you and Neiji taking on each other."

He, then stood up and prepared to move to the stadium on his call.

"Man, who picked the spot for the finals to be so far," complained Reo but his foots were continuously on the move, "If I knew earlier, then I would not have wasted so much of my precious time sleeping from the fatigue."
Yesterday, Reo spent all his time get used to the "Mystic Shadow" technique that he comprehended. And because of practicing till the morning, he slept thinking that the venue for the finals was at the same place where the trials were held, so the mix up.
He was lucky that he found it out at the right time, or else he could very well miss his fight on the big day of the finals.
"And finally," mused Reo as he came to a stop standing in the front of the finals' venue, "I'm here"

　　他在首页这些促销地方并没有找到《侏罗纪公园》的身影，特价专区那些打折书、本月热门、主题专栏都是别的书。
　　恐龙的身影出现在首页的新书上架那边，刚刚才上架一天的小说下面赫然拥有超过870个评价，目前评分是四星半。
　　跟《侏罗纪公园》差不多时间上架的那些书，下面的评论数量少得可怜，多的有十多二十个，少的只有2个，跟几百个评价比起来完全不是一个档次的。
　　如果等买了书的读者阅读完，这个评价数量或许还会激增不少，小说这玩意儿只有阅读了才能体会到其中的故事，不然就是瞎评论。
　　林翰此时并没有找亚马逊的工作人员要销售数据，他打算等首日结果出来之后再说，眼前那些评论倒是挺想看看的。
　　“看之前以为是那种单靠情节取胜的小说，结果一口气看完之后发现不只是情节新颖。小说里面的侏罗纪公园系统、马尔科姆效应还有对科学的反思都非常有意思，推荐一读！”这名读者已经确认购买，并且给出了五星的好评。

　　在科幻小说这个分类里面，林翰干脆包揽了前三名，《侏罗纪公园》空降第一，《火星救援》后退一名位居第二，《我，机器人》获得雨果奖从第五反超李文渊的《冲出银河系》位居第三。
　　大概从来都没有一位小说作者能做到这么强悍的地步，整个科幻小说榜都被他给承包了！

There were mainly two things to look for when inspecting a precious ore. One is its origin and the other is the grade of the ore.
Since it was Lu Che's shop, which has been successfully running this business for many years now, the origin of the ore was definitely reliable.
The grade of the ore is what needed to be inspected and this was not a particularly easy task.
Raw jade is most often covered by withered base material that looks no different than an ordinary rock.
The different spots on the ore, the occasional small tinge of greenish texture on its surface, and any sign of the famous black belt around the rock are all small indications that the seemingly normal rock might contain precious treasure within it.
Even then there is no such thing as a sure marker. Ore inspection at its best is still a gamble and 99% dependent on pure luck!
Grandpa Su looked at the first rock that had been placed on the table for inspection and took out his personal magnifying glass. 
He then slowly and cautiously inspected each and every single nook and corner of the rock with his superior grade magnifying glass.
Several gasps in the crowd could be heard, watching such a famous master in action.
"Isn't that old man Su from the famous Su capital? Why is he personally inspecting ores today?"
"I heard there is some sort of wager going on."
"What? Isn't that just willingly falling into a hole?"
"Everybody knows that even though the Sus are not involved in jewellery industry, the old man still dabbled in the art and had personally amassed several precious jadeites."
"I think that wager is with that woman."
"Is she from some famous family? I have never seen her before?"
The crowd started whispering and murmuring amongst themselves.
Su Lin tapped her feet on the floor as she patiently waited for the old man to finish.
But Grandpa Su didn't look like he was going to finish any time soon. 
He took his sweet time to elaborately inspect and was still working on that first piece of rock.
And they could probably purchase about 10 of these rocks for the million yuan wager amount.
Everything was still going according to Su Lin's plan, but unfortunately, it looked like this old man was probably going to take the entire day or so to finish his inspections.
So Su Lin silently walked away and selected one of the seating areas in the hotel lounge and started working on the other company details.
Ah Min as well followed her and settled near her boss to finish some of her daily tasks.
She was still nervous about this whole thing and had even offered to collect some intel about the rock inspection, but Su Lin swiftly refused her help. "Don't waste your time on this. Let's focus on the other work."
Ah Min could only obediently nod and do her other work. Though her eyes kept darting towards the old man who was intensely analyzing the ore surfaces.
Grandpa Su, of course, noticed that Su Lin had already left the crowd and had leisurely sat down somewhere else. 
It was blatant disrespect.
"Such impudence! We should make sure to teach that slut a lesson she won't forget." Mama Meng happily added more fuel to kindle his anger further.
Grandpa Su harrumphed loudly and continued his inspection. To him, this was a delicate art and one of his favorite hobbies.
So he really didn't mind spending this much time on this insignificant wager.
The people in the crowd might even get to learn a thing or two from him. 
A wise experienced master like him had to be generous at times and nurture the younger generations.
Otherwise, all the traditional art and culture would be lost little by little with every passing generation.
Grandpa Su clicked his tongue and patiently inspected inch after inch of every single rock that was allocated for him.
While Su Lin casually yawned in the other corner and begrudgingly worked on the paperwork that came along with being a CEO.
In this fashion, almost an entire day passed by, and Grandpa Su had finally finished selecting all his raw ores.

“I always did have that my dear. But in this case, see your heart rate just spiked.”

You've probably heard it before. ATS's webnovel continues to be on hiatus, but as of some months ago, WN/RR postings were suspended. And here's why.
-First, let's talk about how ATS first operated, before the Brand became a thing. It technically made its debut on Webnovel, then a day or two later, Royalroad. Not much for an audience, hardly any comments or reactions. But the posts continued to come. I'd amp it up to 3-5 chapters a day. 
One day I decided on a whim to split these into volumes. Do light novel format.  I did my search on word count. Saw that they were typically 20-50k words. I set mine for 60k per book.
I only published it on a whim, just to give it a home and alternate place of publishing. Also helped proved the series was mine by doing it early. This turned out to be one of the best decisions I've made.
-flash forward, ATS continued to grow, but REALLY did when it the Amazon scene. It was becoming a small brand and cut out its very tiny corner on the vast LitRPG map.
--At first, I intended to keep the business model of free optional buy going (which by the way is completely stupid for the long term). I eventually turned this into a full-time career.
I began to see more posts (not too too many and not just me) about ATS's availability on RR/WN. Free reading. This was fine with me since I intentionally put it that way. Surely everything would continue going as normal. 
Then sales dramatically dropped by 60%.  Holy shit. The KU reads were always high and KU itself being a ticking time bomb or a rug ready to be pulled from beneath my feet, I found myself in a pickle.
---1 pickle:  Amazon's bot. Multiple flaggings every time I published. It's nothing short of a miracle that Amazon hadn't punched me in the dick just for existing. But when you're making them money, they treat you okay. Until you inconvenience them haha.
---2nd pickle: People taking my work and posting them on other websites without my permission. Illegally translating it and CHARGING MONEY for the translations. This is wrong for everybody, not just me. Media, other authors, etc. I didn't even care about this at first, it's fucking normal. I got over it. But for the love of god, don't charge people. It was free.
3rd pickle: The Brand, the LLC, and me as an independent creator has grown. Since I'm in charge of everything pertaining to ATS, forcing myself to continue the same business model I did a year ago as a naïve, unknown urban fantasy writer turned light novel author, wouldn't work.
I've been talking and debating with people for a long coming, before deciding to pull the web novel plug. The ******* is there to continue posting chapters, but as you can see with the low number of Patreons, it does not factor into the reason of pulling the plug. Every drop of *******'s funds goes back into ATS.
Ultimately, RR/WN are best for strictly web novel writers with giant active followings such as Wandering Inn, Mother of Learning, etc etc. 
At the time: ATS only recently achieve its 50th rating, its rankings weren't great and really, like 5 or 6 of the 1100 followers of RR were ever active. RR converted into basic 0% reviews in which could've helped it struggle better against Amazon's algorithm.
WN wasn't much better, with very few commenters, few reviews to keep it "free," nothing. A dead web novel basically. [Although today, we look at the 3 million views and wonder, wow.]
The lack of interaction made it absolutely pointless for me to keep risking my livelihood with Amazon's bot. 
 
This message isn't an excuse. It is simply explaining what led up to the removal. 
You could say By the Order of Amazon, ATS must be removed (to the allowed 10%) or face expulsion from the KDP and its Kindle Unlimited program.
 
I appreciate your understanding. I figured lack of engagement from the audience, lack of reviews on the platform that mattered (amazon), multiple KDP bot flaggings could eventually lead to this point.
But it's better to remove than to lose my career.

Adding more to this, 28th of July 2020, which is months (maybe almost a year later), I still get people every now and then entering the discord.
They hadn't a clue a discord existed or that the work was still going. They don't know about the manga in progress, the new manga artist replacement, the platforms, how far the series has gotten, and who's got the rings and babies.
