        Koyama went into her class and looked around, seeing most kids there already. She toned down the lifelessness in her eyes and yawned as she walked the rest of the way into the class. She saw Ms. Joke and sighed as she went to sit down before questions could be asked. When Joke saw her, a first year in a sea of second years, she perked her eyebrow but went to take roll just to see Koyama was in fact where she was supposed to be. Joke then started class. "Alright, First, let's get to know each other. Everyone tell us your name, quirk and what it does. Please stand as you do so." She said, paused, and picked someone to start. A kid with short, messy black hair stood up. 
        "My name is Yo Shindo. My quirk is Vibrate. I can make whatever I touch vibrate." He said and sat down. A few kids went before a blonde girl stood up. 
        "I am Tatami Nakagame. My quirk is telescopic. I can make any part of my body retract into itself." She said before sitting down and more people took their turns but then a guy with a blue head stood up. 
        "Hey, name's Shikkui Makabe. My quirk is Stiffen.  I can harden anything I touch." He sat down and more random kids went before another guy with long black hair stood up.
        "My name is Itejiro Toteki. My quirk is Boomerang. I can throw things with incredible accuracy and change the trajectory midair." He sat down and three more went before it was her turn but she just stayed quiet.
        "Aren't you going to introduce yourself?" Joke asked and watched Koyama make a fist with her hand before bringing it to touch her lips with her palm facing herself before dropping her hand. "What? Speak. We can't understand that." Joke said and Koyama sighed before going the long way. 
        'I'm mute. I can't speak.' She signed and got the same reaction from her classmates and teacher. After that, Koyama went up to the board and wrote the word mute. Everyone was visibly shocked but tried to hide it.
        "I see. Well, this is Koyama Masumi. Her parents never registered her quirk, so would you mind sharing?" Joke looked to Koyama and watched her walk back to her seat, marker in hand, to sit back down. Joke sighed and went on with the lesson. 
        By the time the lesson was over, Koyama had fallen asleep so Joke got someone to wake her. Most kids were gone save Shindo, Toteki, Makabe, and Nakagame. Shindo walked over and gently shook her. "Koyama? Wake up. It's time for lunch." He was polite about it but she could smell his irritation and the others uneasiness by how seemingly polite he was being but more than that, irritation that she fell asleep. "Are you going to eat?" She shook her head in response to his question and stretched as she got the bright idea to tease him. She made a mini white board fly over to her and began to write on it.
        'Are you offering~?'  She showed him and watched him blush before shrugging and sighing.
        "Kid do you not have lunch?" He asked and she just rolled her eyes and got up, taking the board and marker and packing both. All four left and Koyama left campus, putting her stuff next to the gates before running off and going to the forest nearby for lunch. 
        She arrived back on campus with five minutes to spare as she grabbed her stuff and headed back to class. Everyone looked at her when she got to the doorway before looking at Joke and back to her. She looked at Joke and perked an eyebrow before seeing her test in hand. 'Easy stuff right? That is all old news to me.' That was when they all realized she was mentally superior and why she was in a class of second years as a first year.
        "No, this is all new to everyone here. How are you so far ahead?" Joke asked, completely bewildered while Koyama went to the board with a marker in hand.
        'You aren't my first sensei you know.' She wrote and sighed. 'There is nothing you can teach me that my previous sensei's haven't. That includes super moves and most hero work. Only thing I'm unsure about is how I, a mute person with a mostly offensive quirk that has gotten me labeled a "villain" in every school I have gone to, can rescue since the victims are probably having the worst day of their lives. Only my sensei's thought I could become a hero.' Everyone was once again shocked and began to ask questions until Koyama growled low in her throat which shut them up real quick as that was the first sound that they had heard from her.
        "You have some type of wolf quirk then. Why won't you just tell us what it is?" Shindo asked and Koyama just underlined the words "labeled a villain." He nodded and smiled gently. "We won't do that. Right guys? She's our classmate with a misunderstood quirk, not a villain." The rest of them agreed which made Koyama smile slightly.
        'Alright, my quirk is called Vaewolf. It gives me a two in one...kind of. I have several abilities for each half of my quirk.' Everyone seemed confused so Koyama continued. 'It gives me a vampyre quirk and werewolf quirk all in one.' They understood a lot more now and Shindo, Toteki, and Nakagame went and hugged her. She tensed up but otherwise let it happen. Her class told her she wasn't a villain just because of her quirk.
        "Well, Koyama, welcome to Ketsubutsu high. I'll tell you all that we are going to the U.S.J in a few weeks. I'll teach you how to rescue. The rest of you can support her. You will need parental permission to go." Joke said and Koyama snarled at the thought of her parents. "Bad relationship with them huh?" Koyama just nodded and sighed.
        'To say the least, yeah. Also, it looks like I'm not going. If I go home then you all won't see me for a very long time.' Koyama wrote and looked away from everyone, closing the marker.
        "We can make our own U.S.J and have 13 come and teach Koyama how to rescue! We might have to get the development studio to make something for her but she can become a big shot if we just help her!" One of the random students said and the rest of them went wild.
        "Alright, let's get the plans and approval of the school and whatever else needed taken care of. I'm proud of you all. Koyama, choose someone to go with you to the development studio and the rest of you get planning." Joke said and smiled as she called 13 to make it happen. 
        'Yo, will you come with me?' Koyama wrote and thought to herself. 'I trust you the most.' He nodded and held his hand out to her with a small smile. They left after she took his hand and the rest of the class began to plan things out. 
        'I am so proud of them.' Joke thought to herself. 'Not only are they strong, powerful and smart, they are compassionate.' Koyama heard her thoughts and genuinely smiled. Yo Shindo saw that and smiled as he was happy people were beginning to break her shell of distrust and insecurity. Those two got to the development studio and gave them the challenge of making a device capable of making a non robotic voice for Koyama. All the people in that support class began collaborating on it, seeing if it was even possible. Yo and Koyama went back to class and saw everyone there hard at work as well. It warmed Koyama's heart and she went to help plan since it was all for her but only got brushed aside before they got back to work. This made her uneasy but she shook it off best she could since she trusted them enough to at least partially relax. She sighed and went to lean against a wall of 2-2 before deciding to go back to the studio, see if she could help them.
        'Can I go to the studio?' She wrote on her board and showed it to Joke who nodded and smiled at her.
        "Of course. I saw how everyone brushed you aside. Just be nice and trust them ok?" Joke said as she began to write her a note after Koyama nodded. "Right, well, here you go. Good luck and if they give you any trouble go to the principal's office and he will occupy you until the next class starts ok?" Joke said kindly and gave her the note while Koyama nodded and left before getting an idea.
        'Why don't we see what my class thinks of me?' She was sold on the idea and stopped outside their line of sight and listened in on what they were saying and doing.
        "Now then, does anyone actually believe she's mute or do we agree it's just an excuse?" One of them said and the rest of the class agreed, some more hesitantly than others, but no one disagreed and Koyama was heartbroken.
        'Is this really what they think of me being mute?' She continued to listen to the negativity and hate against her, her quirk, and her mutism. 'Maybe they're right. Maybe the world is right. Maybe I really can't be a hero.' She quickly left before hiding next to the door of the studio, listening in on them for a few minutes. All she heard was pity and empathy and kindness. 'How are they kinder than my class? I was only in here ten minutes last time and Yo did most of the talking…' She was on the verge of breaking down but forced a brave face on and walked inside and gave the note to the teacher and waited for his approval.
        "Have you even read this?" He asked and she perked her eyebrow and shook her head. He gave it back and stood there with his arms crossed. She took it and read it before snarling and sighing.
        'Why does no one believe in me? My old sensei's, Alden and Hadi, did but only them…' She waved and headed to the principal's office to give him the note. When she gave him the note, he looked at her like she was dog shit on the bottom of his shoe.
        'I'll be leaving now.' She signed and took her leave. Once she left the school, she went home, just to begin looking for a school that was accepting kids this late. She saw Shiketsu was still accepting and sent in an application, stapling two pages, front and back, telling them what she knew and proving it before telling them she was mute and had severe trust issues. She also wrote her quirk on the application but asked for the freedom to tell people on her own time. Then she trained and studied hard so she didn't lose her edge but only started after she sent in the application. 'I hope they accept. I also hope they aren't two-faced like 2-2….' She sighed and continued to train and study. It took Shiketsu almost a week to get back to her. 'About time.' She sighed and kept studying and training for the next few days since it was Thursday and she was set to start the coming Monday. Her uniform came that Saturday and she admittedly wasn't excited for a new class. Sunday night, she made sure she had everything packed. She laid out her uniform for the following morning and went to bed half an hour before midnight which summoned a lot of factors for her hero name.

As the kids looked in the book and saw the address where the other kids are at.  They walked into a forest when they enter the forest. The snow was soft but deep, the far they go the dark it went. The tree was blocking the moon. 
Hanaraki: " Big Brother." 
Kaganari: " Yes?"
Hanaraki: " The snow is getting too deep. I can't walk that much."
Asagas: " You can get on my back?"
Kaganari: " NO, I will do it." 
Kaganari got down and let Hanaraki hop on. As the kids continued walked into the forest. Kinokuwa turn on the light of the phone. Then they find the place.
Okinako: " A cave?" 
Sakini: " This got to be a joke." 
Aritagi: " It has to be a joke!" 
Asagas: " PUSSY!" 
Aritagi: " I am going to give you more homework." 
Asagas: " I take that back." 
Arizumu: " I am going to stay outside ." She back up.
Kinokuwa: " You going in with me." she grabs Arizumu. 
Kurinaha: " Nope I'm out." 
Hanaraki: " Brother it too dark, I don't want to go in." 
Kaganari: " I'm going in. who coming with me." 
Kinokuwa: " I'm going." 
Asagas: " I was ready for this." 
Okinako: " Well I'm going." 
As Kaganari looked at the other, the other kids back up. He rolled his eyes, and give Hanaraki to Aritagi. 
Hanaraki: " Be careful."
Kaganari: " Okay."
As the four kids got in the cave and walked forward. They entered a place with more caves. 
Asagas: " This like the movie I watch." 
Okinako: " Why the hell are you related this to a movie." 
Kinokuwa: " You got to be kidding me. More cave." 
Kaganari: " So in the movie what cave did they took?" 
Okinako: " The first ones in the right."
Asagas: " Stop lying, you yelled then if they anyone answer. You go to the cave you heard."
Kinokuwa: " Oh okay, are you really going to try tha-"
Kaganari: " HELLO!!" He yelled.
It stays quiet for a few minutes.
Kinokuwa: " Nobody is answering-"
" HELP!" 
Okinako: " This shit is getting weird." 
" PLEASE HELP!"
Kaganari: " HEY! KEEP SPEAKING!" He yelled. 
" HELP!"
" HELP ME!" 
" HELLO!" 
" HELP ME PLEASE!" 
" HELP US!!!!!!!!" 
As the kids follow the voice.

When all volley team had grown up and had kids. They wanted them to see how the past was when they were young. During a fun game, Kurinaha hit the ball but something happened. The kids went in the past but don't know how to get back home. Will they ever go back home to stay with their past parent?

I was finally back in my empty apartment, I got undressed then I took a good hot bath, I thought back to the day today, what was that joke, how in one day i found myself father of three kids. it was nonsense.

I woke up particularly in a good mood, happy with the little evening spent with his kids, after changing I go to the cafe that jimin manage in this still found there my friends and I it's our place to unwind after work.

Arrived in the place, I enter and I see that everyone was already there, I sit next to Hoseok who was quietly sipping his coffee.

"So how was your day. "I asked my friends

"Our days are starting to get bland and monotonous. "Jimin said, taking a seat next to jin hyung.

"Its true our lives are devoid of any thrilling love affair like yours from before. "Say jin

"Jin is absolutely right. "Hoseok said.

"Do you guys remember the bet we made 6 years ago? "I began.

"What bet are you guys talking about? "Jin asked

"Bet where my two idiot friends force me to donate my cum and because of them here I am with three kids. "

"Said you What. "Jin said offended

"Is not true. "Said hoseok

"How did you make such a stupid bet. "Jin added

"So tell us how you meet them." Asked jimin

"I had just gone to kindergarten in the neighborhood and was there that their grandmother saw me."

"I imagine your kids must be like you so that she finds a resemblance between you. "Hoseok tell me

"Who is the idiot who can make children with your poor sperm. "Said jimin

"What do you mean by that ... that I'm ugly. "

"Don't listen jimin your kids gotta be cute, right. "Jin told me

"Hm."

I look at my watch and realize that it's time for my date, I wave my friends that I have to leave, and I go out for coffee and get in my black hyundai.

My meeting was over a little later and the paperwork had accumulated, I had even finished at 5 o'clock like usual and I headed for my meeting. I wanted to see my little ones, I didn't understand myself how could I be so attached to kids that I hugged just yesterday.

I park as usual just in front of the gate, I was disappointed because I did not see them, I was about to leave when I hear a cry of joy that pushes me to turn around.

"daddy  !!!..." The boys said running towards me.

I crouch down and hug them, when a strong breath forced me to lift my face, I look at the young man in front me when I see his eyes widen while exclaiming.

"Damn but tell me it was a joke."

My biggest mistake was making that fucking stupid bet to be a sperm donor, but I soon regretted it, and here I am 6 years after father of three kids.

"We're using the van?"
Chen Lingtian abruptly halted in his tracks at the sight of the humongous yet luxurious fourteen-seater van, engine already purring softly in their spacious garage, one sliding door open and waiting for its passengers to mount it. 
He looked around him and swept his eyes with a searching look at the faces of the people around him – at the men in black and at his sister, but mostly at the head guard in charge.
During his absence, it had already been a routine for the other kids to go home together in a carpool after their tutorial sessions.
The black sedan that the twins used to ride in to and from Ms. Lim's place was replaced by the van that now surpirised him and pushed him to the edge of his wits.
Of course, all the change happened without his prior knowledge.
When the head of the guards cleared his throat, the Chen little miss arched a brow and signaled him to keep his mouth shut. She did it behind her brother, out of his sharp scrutiny.
Chen Lihua nearly gasped in panic but she managed to control her façade. Almost snobbishly – keeping her cool to evade the taut situation – she walked passed her brother and slid into the van's spacious interior.
"Yep. I decided to give the other kids a ride home. It started with Wei Rin but then the three other boys shared a neighborhood so I decided to be generous and extended the gesture to them as well. A kind gesture won't hurt, would it, Ge-ge?"
"Of course, not." Chen Lingtian went in as well, dropping the subject off. 
The little girl silently heaved a sigh of relief as she pretended to fall asleep on the way to Ms. Lim's place.
'As long as nobody tells him about my frequent after-tutorials visti to Big Bird's place, everything would be fine.'
Ms. Lim stayed behind at the front porch of her house exchanging some important briefing with the Chen twins' guards. The head guard dialed in Butler Lee's number in a call and asked the tutor to report the twins' progress with their studies.
She urged the twins to go on and get settled in the classroom while she took Butler Lee's call. "Some of your friends are already inside. You go ahead, kids. I'll be there shortly." She had instructed them with a sweet, gently voice.
And so the twins marched onto the familiar corridor, one after the other.
They heard familiar voices, too, coming from the room at the left end of the hallway.
Alas, when they came, the Chen twins caught Hawk and Eagle already on their assigned seats, legs Since it's a Saturday, the other kids went to the place by themselves. Their guardians were left with the responsibility to drop them off at the place. In that sense, all the kids would only carpool on the way home.
"I bet they mixed some monkey business in between studying." Hawk snickered.
"Hahaha! You bet!" Eagle seconded, seemingly enjoying the topic. He tapped the desk's top in enjoyment.
"Hey, don't talk about them like that!" Wei Rin shushed them sternly. He looked ready to pounce, but of course it would only remain as an empty threat.
Hawk and Eagle knew that so they did not listen to him at all. If anything, his warning only fueled the two kids' teasing. They chanted in a famous tune,
"Big Bird and Xiao Lihua"
"Sitting in a tree"
"K-I-S-S-I-N-G"
They ended the chant with a fit of loudm hearty laughter.
Their noise reached the twins who were already in the short hallway of Ms. Lim's house just a few steps from the make-shift classroom's door.
Upon hearing the playful chant, Chen Lingtian could swear that all of his reason and logic which he took pride in having evaporated in thin air. His sight went pitch-blank and all he could remember was clenching his fists by his side before rushing in.
Thoughtlessly and almost out-of-character from the Chen Lingtian who usually showed well-moderated behavior in public, he grabbed Hawk's collar and snapped, "Say it again?!"
"Uhh, Xaio Lingtian, you're here today!" Hawk commented as he felt the compelling force on his neck. It was an automatic reaction to the surprisingly brute attack.
"Calm down, Chen Lingtian!" Eagle cried out as he and and Wei Rin hovered around the boy.
Wei Rin grabbed Chen Lingtian's arm, nudging it to let go of Hawk's shirt's collar ever so gently, with as little force as possible. He could only tap on Chen Lingtian's tightly curled up knuckles.
But Chen Lingtian would not budge. Without letting go of Hawk's shirt, his head whipped sideways and barked at Eagle, "You're taunting my sister! You dared!"
Chen Lihua, for a good minute or so, froze on the spot by the door with widened eyes and both chubby hands over her gaping mouth. She realized she had probably forgotten to breathe as well, and her body rebelling from the lack of air propelled her back into motion. As her heart paced up, her feet raced towards her twin brother that had gone berserk.
It was a surprise to her as well, for, it was her first time to see her brother lose his cool this way. It scared her.
"It was just a joke, brother! They're just joking!" She went behind her brother and pulled him away from the other kids, with her arms wrapped around his waist in an attempt to hurl him away. He was heavy and only left her struggling for breath.
"A joke? You're fine with it?!" Incredulity washed over the little boy as he could not fathom how his delicate sister would be fine with such insult hurled her way, behind her back.
"Tell him! Hawk! Eagle! You're only joking right?" Chen Lihua, not once retrieving her arms around her brother, still yanking him out of Hawk's reach, pleaded at the two boys with his eyes. 
"It doesn't sound like a joke to me! Why are you even siding with them?! Huh?! What is happening while I am not here?!" 


Story of best friends, Kang Sola and Xue Guangxi, as they traverse their journey through adulthood, amidst conflicting choices and internal issues within themselves and from their past.

She balled her fists, getting ready to punch the man in the face if the situation requires. They are, after all, alone in the room.

Sometimes she forgets that Xue Guangxi was of the opposite gender – a man more than capable of beguiling innocent women when he sets his mind to the task.

‘Perhaps he had been gone for too long that I had forgotten how his charms work. That fact never left my head, but experiencing it firsthand… Well, Nah!!!’ She tried to shake whatever silliness her mind entertains despite her prudence.

But what her neutral poker face could hide, her berserkly widened eyes could not conceal.

Nevertheless, even if he noticed, the young man did not point it out. He was more concerned and occupied by other matters.

Matters of far greater importance…

…For example, her safety.

She blinked several times, trying to disrupt the connection their locked gazes somehow managed to forge. She bowed her head, still blinking, and darted her lowered gaze to the floor. She straightened up her sitting position and swatted both of the man’s hands on her shoulders without force.
But Xue Guangxi held her in place. 

“Look at me.”

“What is it now, Guangxi?” She whispered. Her voice, thin and fragile and barely audible. Perhaps more from the earlier adrenaline pushed a blush on her face.
Perhaps, it wasn’t the adrenaline to be blamed.

She tried to swat his hands for the second time, but his grip only tightened, making his point more pronounced. 

Either he obeys or she does.

Most of the time, Xue Guangxi always gave in to Kang Sola’s whims. Even when his temper wasn’t too great to be proud of, at the end of every argument, he lets the girl win.

But in this instance, he wanted to be more assertive.

“You always make me worry, Sola.” He breathed with all solemnity, like a prayer. The clasp of his hands on her shoulders tightened. She could feel it. She winced.

Then, without further ceremony or introduction, he pressed her into a tight embrace, full of concern.

Any person would be able to discern if a form of skinship was of sincere nature or not.

Kang Sola could tell his was of genuine care and concern for her.

“You are far more delicate than you think. God, Sola!” He cradled her head with his right hand placed just above her nape. Some of her balayage locks laced his manly fingers.

Chapter 17: Liz Is Here!
"Liz!" The two kids yelled while they ran to hugged Liz immediately. Gigi did not want to admit it but it was the cutest thing she had ever seen during her short years of life. Liz was always sweeter and better with kids than her, she was just so magnetic that every single person in the room wanted to be around her, and that included kids. And the fact that the love was mutual, was mind-blowing. Liz's heart was something else. 
"Gigi, Liz is here!" Camille was super excited, almost yelling, and Gigi half-smiled in return. The situation was just too cute for her. Liz stood on her knees and gave them some candies she had in her pockets. 
"Before I give you more candies, you'll have to hug me again" Liz threatened as a joke and both of them hugged her tightly. "And ask Gigi if you can eat all this before dinner, she's the boss right now" Gigi's heart was about to completely melt. She almost forgot how confused she was that Liz was there in the first place. 
"Gigi please, can we eat candy? Please" The two infants started begging and Gigi just couldn't say no to them, they were like angels. They were even pouting; it was too much. 
"You're the best Geeg, we love you" Camille quickly hugged Gigi's leg since she was not that tall to give her a proper hug and Tom winked his eye, like if Gigi and he had an internal joke together. 
"I don't mean to be rude but what are you doing here? And how do you know Mrs. Velice?" The kids ran out of the hall and Gigi started walking with Liz into the kitchen.
"My mom cooked something for the kids and you as soon as she found out that you were working here. She and your mom are friends with Mrs. Velice from some book club. Unfortunately, she had an emergency and well, I am here now" Liz sat down at the kitchen counter and rested her head in one of the big brown cabinets, she seemed exhausted. 
"Do you want some water?" Gigi could pretend to be bad all she wanted, but she had manners, and making sure Liz was alright was part of them. 
"I'm not going to say no to that" Liz couldn't take her eyes off Gigi either. She was so hot. The hottest girl alive, she had to admit. And seeing her being so natural and caring around children kind of moved something inside her.  
"So, how are you doing? It's been a while since we've had that interesting conversation in my backyard" Gigi opened that scary conversation right away and kind of regretted it. After giving Liz a glass of water, she sat down at the kitchen table and took a look at the living room only to see that both kids were watching a movie while they ate candies. Everything was fine. 
"I'm doing great, thanks for asking" That time, Liz knew what she was facing, she knew she was facing Gigi and had time to prepare for it. However, she did not feel like having that conversation right now, not after what they had said to each other that other night. She felt like Gigi's excuses were poor and she did not want to deal with her brain trying to justify Gigi's wrongdoings again. 
"You're not going to ask me how I'm doing?" Gigi was surprised to see how Liz was being rude to her. Well, not rude, she was just not interested in her like she used to be. 
"No. I know you're fine. You always are." Liz was doing a bold assumption there, but she did not care, she had the right to be mad. She finished the glass of water in a matter of seconds and left it on the kitchen sink placed next to her. The kitchen was nice, the whole house was. 
"That's not true at all" Gigi felt like she was under attack every time she spoke to Liz, and even though she deserved it, she wanted to just have a normal conversation with her at least for once. 

Gigi Geffrey’s life was about to change and she had no idea about it. Everything was perfectly planned by her, she had the best grades she could ever dream of, an amazing group of friends, and the perfect body. She thought she has everything worked out until she returns to her hometown after three years only to find out she still has a lot of things to figure out.

The examination door opened. A middle-aged woman holding a tablet walked out. She's one of the teachers in the school. She looked elegant with her eyeglasses in its maroon frame with small stars on the edges. It's the latest trend in face fashion. She scanned the surroundings, looking slowly from left to right. Occasionally, raising her right eyebrow as she recognized some of the parents.

"Alright. All parents, guardians and cheerleaders, please move over to that side." The elegant teacher gracefully waved her hand gesturing where those who will not be taking the exam needs to stay put. The aura she exudes is so extraordinary that everybody shut their mouth, and those who were mentioned moved over as they have been instructed.

"And all of those who will be taking the exam... please fall in line on this side." She gracefully gestured to the kids to fall in line to keep things in order. Seeing that their older companions just followed the teacher's instructions with no questions asked, the kids silently moved.

"Children, please activate your tokens." The teacher holds her right hand up showing a distinct token in between her fingers. She demonstrated how to activate it. As she pressed a button, it started glowing with a hue of green. Then on a tablet, she's holding on another hand, it shows a list and simultaneously it updated itself that for that person holding that specific activated token marked as active.

Kids brought out their token. Unfortunately, there are three who forgot their token. Enryl brought out his own as well.

"Those who don't have a token, unfortunately, you can't take the exam. Please move over to your parents." The three kids happily moved over to their guardians. Seems like they were forced to go here and don't really care.

She turned her gaze to the remaining kids with token and then gracefully glanced on the tablet to confirm. She looked to each kid seemingly thinking of something. After the last kid, the corner of her lips curved in a subtle conceited smile.

"You, you... and you. You lot can't take the exam." She pointed to a total of ten kids and gracefully gestured them to move over. Unfortunately, Enryl was one of them.

The called kids were stunned. They have no idea why they can't take the exam. They are hesitant on whether they have heard it right or it is actually just a joke. The question is, a scary teacher knows how to joke?

Seeing that the kids are hesitant and are not moving at all. The teacher raised her right eyebrow and placed one of her hands on her waist. She slightly bends her head and gazes at them menacingly.

Some of the kids got scared so they started to move over. Their parents are confused as well and were about to raise their hands and voice their opinion but the teacher just exuded a more menacingly aura looking at them that caused them to shrink back.

Enryl was confused as to why. He's been waiting for this moment for a long time but is it really going to slip out of his hands this time?

Nine of the kids moved over to their parents. Some of them are already crying. These kids are wearing the simplest clothing and some of them don't have shoes or slippers. These kids obviously came from a poor family. Their parents don't have the guts to talk back.

"And you! Move over to that side!" The teacher is losing her patience.

"No! Please give me a good reason why I should not take the exam. I have registered for this exam and I have my token. I have the right to take the exam." Enryl blurted out as he stood on his ground. He exuded a righteous aura. The teacher was slightly surprised and thought, "So, there's one that has guts after all."

"Do you really want to take the exam?" The teacher just replied with another question.

"Yes. I want to take the exam or else I wouldn't be here." Enryl answered straightforwardly. He still tries to be respectful to this teacher. If he loses his cool, he might do something that he might regret. This is a chance he can't let go.

"Okay, I will allow you to take the exam but on one condition. You will only have thirty minutes instead of two hours so you will start at 11:30 am. Do you agree?" The teacher smirked maliciously. Do you think you've got what it takes? Poor people like you should just keep on farming. Do you think the questions on the exam are about farm animals?

Enryl felt relieved when he heard the condition. At least he can still take the exam.

"Fine. Just keep your promise." he went to one of the chairs and sat down. He'll be watching the clock from now on.

Some of the kids and parents who were verbally assaulting him earlier have a smug look on their faces. Huh, you think you can pass the exam with just thirty minutes of time? They were laughing on the inside.

Entry for Writing Prompt Contest #71. Ranked 4.


There's no place like home. We park just outside my bar, and I'm giddy with excitement. I jump out of the car before Hank turns off the motor and run up to the front door. Hank runs after me, and we walk inside together.
"Holy shitballs," I say.
Hank rubs his eyes. "Holy shitballs."
The bar is decked out in streamers and balloons and hanging on the wall along the length of the bar is a Welcome Back! sign in neon pink. Cheers erupt from the biggest crowd I've ever seen in my bar. All my regulars are here, and a lot of people I've never seen before.
A well-heeled man in a custom made suit and a five-hundred-dollar haircut approaches us and slaps Hank on the back. "You made it back, pal. Drinks are on me."
"Harrison," Hank growls and sucker punches him in the face with a loud crack. Harrison goes down like a lead balloon, taking down two people with him. The bar grows completely quiet except for a loud gasp.
"You lousy crook. I'm going to kill you, and after you're dead I'm going to sue you for everything you've stolen from me and after that I'm going to put you in prison," Hank yells, standing over Harrison with his one good hand in his best boxer's pose.
"It was a joke!" Harrison says, crawling away from Hank's reach.
"A what?"
"I didn't steal anything. That was a joke. Everyone was in on it."
A mousy little woman helps Harrison up. "He said you would think it was funny," she says.
Hank's apoplectic. His head looks like it's going to explode. "Emma, you're my assistant. Why would you think I'd think it was funny?"
"Mr. Harrison said you always wanted an adventure like you had in Mexico," she says, standing in front of Harrison in order to protect him.
"Do you mean he's responsible for our trip to Mexico?" I ask her.
"I didn't mean for you to go, too," Harrison tells me. "How was I to know you were going to drink with him?"
My mouth's open in shock and nothing I do can shut it.
"What did you do? How did you do it?" Hank asks, clenching his fist.
"Anything's possible with a few C-notes. It was a joke!" Harrison says, taking a couple of steps backward.
I point at Hank. "Look at this man. He's roadkill. His face looks like mashed potatoes. He's Mickey Rourke, the later years. You did that to him. All for a joke. And we were kidnapped. And I was naked!"
The entire bar looks at my ample bosom. I step behind Hank.
"I'm going to break your neck," Hank tells Harrison, shaking his fist at him.
"Oh, my God," I say, just thinking about something. "You still have the bar. We can find out who won the drinking contest."
We ask everyone who witnessed the contest. At first, it looks like I drank Hank under the table, but then just as many people say Hank was the one who drank me under the table. It's a stalemate.
"What do we do in case of a tie?" I ask Hank.
"It means you win," he says, his puppy dog face back.
"Liar. You're just trying to give the bar to me. I told you this wouldn't work."
"You're a difficult woman."
The bar is a big party, the guests unaware of the drama taking place under their noses. My future rests in the balance. My future with the bar and my home, and also my future with Hank.
"We could do some kind of competition," Hank suggests. "Winner takes all."
"Oh, lord."
Luckily, Hank comes to his senses. Neither of us is ready to start again with a drinking contest or anything else. Still, we like the competition angle. It sounds fair.
"Competition by proxy," Hanks says, smiling.
"Deal," I say, shaking his hand.

"So, this is the inner sanctum," Hank says looking around my apartment over the bar. I hold his hand and walk him through the living room on the way to my bedroom.
"Very few lucky men have made it up here."
"I feel very lucky. This is better than the Powerball."
We step into my bedroom, and I strip his clothes off. "So, if it takes him more than forty hours to get home, the bar's mine."
"But if he gets back in less time, the bar's mine," Hank says, pulling my dress up over my head. He kisses the side of my neck and carries me to my bed.
"I feel a little guilty," I say, as he lies on top of me, fitting himself between my legs.
"I don't. The jerk had it coming to him. Anyway, what did he call it? A joke. Let's see how funny he thinks it is being the punchline."
It wasn't hard to get Harrison drunk, and getting him blotto was pretty easy after that. And he was right about the C-notes. Hank stole Harrison's wallet and handed over its contents to a couple of biker friends. That was a couple of hours ago. I figure he's sleeping it off in the middle of Mexico just as Hank is busy kissing the length and breadth of my body.
"I wonder if other people start their relationships this way," I say.
"You mean naked and handcuffed together?"
"I mean paying to have a man kidnapped and delivered to Mexico."
"We could have played Scrabble, but you didn't want to," he says, slipping inside me.
"Do you think he's okay?"
"I'll have someone check on him, make sure he doesn't get into too much trouble. Of course, he didn't do the same for us."
"All's well that end's well," I say, lifting my legs up so he can thrust himself deeper. I shiver with arousal.
"You're right. It's a great story we can tell our kids someday."
"Our kids? Wait a minute. What do you mean, 'our kids?'"
But he's not listening, and I've forgotten what I was saying. We make love all night and the day after. I keep the bar closed until we finally take a break forty-eight hours later. Just in time for Harrison to make it back.

"We have to cross-reference all these? This is a lot of work." Zack groaned in irritation. He thought that the work Arion is assigning him to do would be easy. But he never would have imagined that it will turn out like this.
"Stop complaining, Zack. That's not even helping us one bit." Mike said. He joined Alfonso and Zack because someone told him to help them. But he didn't expect this to happen to him. This is not what he had in mind in helping them.
"It would have been easier if Leonardo is here. This task is not suited for someone like me. Leonardo could have done this for a few minutes. " What irritates Zack the most is the fact that Leonardo is not around to do this job.
Leonardo is the right man to be in the position that he is right now. Yet, Leonardo was the first one to volunteer to start the training for the young ones. 
It was such a surprise to them the Leonardo was willing to do it first. Although it surprised them, they were also surprised at the fact that there was an evil smirk on his face.
It looks to them that Leonardo was planning something. And there is also a part of them that feels bad at Leonardo's new victim.
"Zack, if you had stopped complaining from the very beginning of this task, you guys would be relaxing by now. But no, you decided to keep on complaining. Now, whose fault is that?" In the middle of Zack's complaints, Zack and the others heard Mary's voice from behind.
"Yeah. What she said." Alfonso said to Zack. From the time Arion tasked them with this assignment and the time now, it has been almost three hours. And the work they have done so far is not so good.
"Oh, please. Don't even say that. You were complaining too, you know?!" Zack said with a frown plastered on his face. It is true that all he did so far is complain about this and that. But, he is not the only one who kept on complaining.
"I admit. I'm not going to deny that. But, when I did that, when I was complaining, I did it while working. I mean look at everything that I got so far, do you actually think that you have the right to compare my work to yours?" Like most of the time, Alfonso spoke in his normal sassy way towards Zack.
Listening to that, Mary scoffed. 'How can he be so proud of himself when looking at the work that he had done so far is not enough worthy to say: 'It's enough'.' She said in her mind.
Mary sighed hearing all the back and forth talk between Alfonso and Zack. Her work hours at the office have ended like thirty minutes ago. As a good person that she is, she decided to check on her friends. Who would have known that the moment stepped in, she expected that their task is already done. But she should have told herself that expect the unexpected.
'There are three people that are working on this task. Why is it that the progress is like this? Is this some kind of a joke these three are trying to play on me?' Mary groaned in annoyance. She wanted to believe that it is only a joke. But seeing that faces that Zack and Alfonso are making right now is enough to say it is now a joke.
"Move aside, people. Let me do this." She said, then she shoves Zack out of her way. All she wanted was to go home and relax. Her reason for coming here was to check on her friends, but she got another reason for coming. One of her reason is that she wanted to have a peace of mind later before going to bed.
She doesn't want to think about this task before going to bed because it will only give her headaches. Since her 'helpful' friends didn't manage to make a clear dent, she decided to do it for them. At least this way, she will have a bit of a peaceful mind.
'That husband of mine. He knows that these three are not as skillful in computers as Leonardo is, so why is it that he let them work on this? He's wasting time for everyone!' Currently, in Mary's mind, she is imagining of torturing her husband, then throwing him out of their bed.
Her husband has only one job on this matter, and that would be putting the right person for this specific task. All her friends have things that they are very good at.
Zack is the muscle man of the group. Alfonso is the one who handles negotiations. Mike is the one who invents things that they need for every mission they go to. And Leonardo, he handles computers. Leonardo is much better at computers than her.
While Mary is doing the task that the three of them should have done, Mike asked a question. "Mary, do you know what kind of training Leonardo has planned for the kids?"
He may not show it, but everyone knows that Mike worried about his kid, Josh. Thinking about what kind of experiences Josh is facing while Leonardo is the trainer, Mike is starting to get worried.
"Well, as far as I can tell, it's not a very good experience. But don't worry, the kids will live." Mary replied. If she and Leonardo are not close as they are now, she would have been worried about her kids just like Mike is right now.
It's is such a good thing that she and Leonardo are like siblings to each other, and the trust they have for each other is endless. If her kids are under Leonardo's care, then there is nothing for her to worry about.
Leonardo might make things harder for her kids, especially Aaron, but apart from that, Leonardo is the only person that she trusts the most to take care of her kids.
"That's it? That's not very assuring, Mary." Mike frowned. Usually, Mary would give him the full details of everything that he asks her, but now, she is not even trying to make it sound like everything is going to be fine for his son. 
"Mike, you worrying like that is so not like you. Besides, if you really that worried, why don't you go home now and ask your son about it." Since it is already late at night, Mary is sure that the kids are at home by now.
"I would love to go, but what about this?" Mike asked. He is talking about the cross-referencing assignment that Arion assigned to them.
"As you can see, my dear friend. I'm already doing it myself. Besides, look at the progress that I have made so far. Do you really think that there is much for you guys to do here? You three are going to be a nuisance here, so it's better you three to go home and leave me alone here." She can't work properly if Mike keeps on asking her about his son.
"If you say it like that, then I will happily obey your words." With a smile plastered on his face, Zack stood up and immediately leave the place. He didn't even bother to look back.
"Well? Are you two not gonna follow Zack or not?" Mary is obviously telling them to leave so that she can have a nice peace and quiet while she works.
"If you want us to leave, then we will leave. But please, don't push yourself too much in this matter." Alfonso said in a worried tone. It is true that time is not on their side, but Mary shouldn't be pushing herself like this.
By the time the Ricci family decided to make their move, Mary might be the first one to collapse first because she is overworking herself.
"I know. I'll go home in twenty minutes."

"I don't want to go back there tomorrow!"
"How come? It was such a nice experience. Uncle Leo taught us a lot of things in just one day. Besides, it was hard, but it was certainly fun." 
"Fun? Anna, do you seriously think that it was fun? I felt like I was dying earlier!" Aaron said. From start to finish he never once think that he was having fun with all the activities that Leonardo has thrown into him.
As a matter of fact, after their first day of training, he saw the faces of his sister and the others. It seems to him that Leonardo didn't give them a hard time. While he, on the other hand, was having a very hard time.
Every time he makes a move, Leonardo either scolds him or tell him what the right thing to do. 'I feel like he's doing that on purpose.' He inwardly said.
"Well, I wouldn't say that I didn't notice it." Anna is not dense as some people might think she is. She saw how Leonardo treated her brother, and couldn't blame Leonardo for that. Her brother should have expected that after his confession in front of Leonardo.


She was only six years old when her father suddenly mysteriously disappeared without any trace.

At the age of sixteen, her mother died in a car accident; some claims that her mother suicide and some claims that it was only a natural accident.

Finally, at the age of twenty-two, she was wedded on that day and at the same time, she was killed by her so-called best friend and her lover. They have betrayed her, all the years that they have spent together were crushed on that day. She thought that it was all genuine but it was, in fact, all fake.

She died with so much hatred in her heart that the heavens granted her a second chance. A chance to change all the wrongs that she did, to avoid the flags that will bring her down.

Did the heavens pity her for being naive? But that does not matter now. The heavens gave her this second chance and she won't waste it to the likes of her fake best friend and that so-called lover of hers.

The heavens allowed her to wake up at the age of sixteen where things are not that disastrous. This time in her second life, she make those who hurt her and her family down without any hesitation.

It had been a couple of days since Remus had taken the Magical Beast Animagus Potion and everyone was still reeling from the shock. Not only did the Potion work and turned Remus's disease into a new Magical Power, it somehow combined his original Animagus Form, a Bat, with his new one and brought into the world a Legendary Magical Beast, Winged Wolf!! After Remus presented his new Animagus Form and saw the shock on everyone's face, he smiled before turning back into a Human. But even his Human form was different from his previous self, his body was streamlined and perfectly fit his clothes and not only that, it was like he had grown four or five inches and you could see an outline of his well-toned and defined body. 

Whilst everyone was once again shocked and confused, the kids were the first one to get out of their stupor and rushed to Remus. They all gathered around him and Ron was the first one to congratulate him, ``*Woohoo!* How do you feel Uncle Remus?! That Animagus form of yours was pretty surprising to say the least. Not to mention, your current human form isn't bad either.'' Remus looked at Ron and the other kids nodding in agreement and laughed out loud but before Remus or the kids could say could say anything. The adults had also gotten out of their stupefaction and Sirius chimed in and asked, ``I am sure your Uncle Remus feels great at the moment but I want to know where his Werewolf Form got Wings from?! I mean, he already got a XXXXX level Animagus From and he even has Wings! How's that fair?!'' 

Although it sounded like Sirius was jealous of Remus's new powers, he was probably one the people who wished he had gotten even more! Seeing his best friend get cured in front of his eyes would have been enough to make him happy but not only did he get cured but he even got to be the first ever Magical Beast Animagus and that too with a combined Animagus Form! While Sirius wanted joke around a bit more, Remus's father arrived in front of his son and asked him with happiness and a little bit of fear in his voice, ``Remus, are you really cured?! Are you finally free son?!''. The disbelief in his voice didn't make anyone angry instead, they all felt choked up themselves and silently left the room to give some space for a father-son talk.

During the next few days, the families outside of Ottery St also got to see the Wizard World's first ever Magical Beast Animagus and needless to say, they were shocked. Remus himself was still in shock and would turn into a Winged Werewolf every day before flying around the Quidditch Pitch and howling in joy and happiness. Meanwhile the kids were working on creating a simplified version of the Potion which they could provide to the other Infected Wizards. This Potion's only functions were to heal the long term damage the Curse inflicted upon the body and cure get rid of the Werewolf Curse. Although the person might still have traits from their time as a Werewolf, they would not turn into a deranged Monster come every full moon. 

And with only a few weeks left before Bill and Charlie finished another year at Hogwarts, they finally did it! A cure for Werewolves around the world, although no one else besides Remus would be able to get a Animagus Form out of it, they would instead be able to live a normal life in Wizard Society and not have to worry about hurting themselves or their loved ones. The kids had already decided to not take any credit for the Potion and instead got their Grandparents to get it distributed through the Ministry. Needless to say, the news of the cure shocked the entire Wizarding World to its core. No Ministry anywhere in the world could sit still and soon more than a dozen Ministers of Magic arrived in Great Britain. Cornelius who was still reeling from the shock himself had to get over it pretty quickly and went to meet with the other Leaders of the Magical World.

But all of that didn't concern the kids who were currently enjoying a celebration dinner put together by the House Elves and their Mothers and were stuffing themselves with food. The moms were looking at their kids with faces full of pride and joy but with a trace of uncertainty in their eyes. Ron caught this uncertainty and asked them, ``Mom, what are guys thinking about? Are you worried that we are eating too much or something?''. Molly and the other moms laughed at Ron's joke before Astoria's mother answered Ron's question with another question, ``It's nothing like that sweetheart. We're just wondering how you kids managed to give Remus a combined Animagus Form?'' Before Ron could answer, Cedric's mom chimed in as well, ``yeah, we understand the Magical Beast Animagus Form Potion but the combined Form isn't mentioned anywhere in the Recipe or even in any books laying around the different Houses.'' 

Ron and the kids smiled at the question, after all, it wasn't just their moms who were wondering about these things. Everyone wanted to know how they managed to give Remus's Werewolf from Wings. Once again it was Ron who answered the question, ``It's not surprising you didn't find it anywhere in the Houses. The combined form isn't mentioned anywhere in books.'' Before any of the adults could ask the new list of questions that had erupted in their heads, Harry chimed in and continued Ron's explanation, ``you remember when we went on holidays around Europe, we managed to discover some new Potion and Alchemy materials, some of which are used to make different types of Animagus Potions.'' When Harry went back to eating cake, Percy jumped in finished the explanation, ``Amongst those Potions, one was capable of giving a Wizard a chance to get two Animagus Forms but the Potion was highly unstable and reactive. So, it was  rarely if ever made but we were already drawing from theoretical ideas and this was a existent Potion. We took some little bits from it and combined it with some high level Magical Herbs alongside Magical Beast Blood and made the final Potion.''

Looking at the kids who finished the explanation and went back to eating as if what they said weren't secrets to a revolutionary Potion but some lame facts from a random book, the Moms couldn't help but think to hit their kids for some reason.
