Having eaten a decent lunch, although not as great as Sister Tully's cooking, Aser felt confident once more to explore the academy. Looking at the library in the distance, Aser was tempted to see what new information he could get. He also had the Academy Guidelines book that he still needed to go through, so before doing anything else for now, Aser decided to head into the library. 

The library was located across from the cafeteria building. The building was 4 stories tall, with an open door and marble tiling. Walking past the doors while trying not to bump into the people heading out, Aser saw a grand view that flabbergasted him. Bookshelves upon bookshelves full of books. He couldn't see an end to a single aisle from where he was standing. 

While Aser was standing there like a buffoon, behind the desk near the entrance sat a prim young girl with round spectacles. Janet Rose looked curiously at this obviously new student. She had seen almost everyone during her 3 years working as a library aide, and had never seen this boy. So,  with the assumption he was new, Janet walked up to him to help him out. 

With a smile, Janet went ahead and asked the boy, "Hey, can I do anything to help? I'm guessing this is your first time here?"

Turning around to look at the girl talking to him, Aser replied embarrassed, "Umm hello. Yeah, I just got into the school today for boarding. I was just looking at the all the buildings trying to get familiar with everything."

"Oh, let me give you an introduction then. I'm one of the library aides and also a 4th year student, Janet. The library has four floors, but students only have access to the first two floors. The others are reserved for the teachers and guests of the academy. We have 60 aisles, separated into two rows on the first two floors, and each aisle has about a 100 bookshelves. So that's around 6000 bookshelves worth of materials on each floor. We have books about almost anything you can find, Essence, Cultivation, Demonic Beasts, Skills, Professions, Geography, History, Advanced Theories, System Studies, Explorer Records, Maps, whatever you can think of, you're likely to find in the First Son's Library."

"The library is also open 24/7, and there are private reading rooms near the start and end of each aisle. Most of them are usually taken when the school term starts, but you can book them ahead of time with us. Bookings are done by day and a student can book for at most one semester at a time. You can also borrow books from the library, but there is a very strict 3 day return policy on each book as well as fees if there are any damages to them while borrowed. If it's a very important book, like one where the school only has one copy, you can only read them in the library."

Nodding his head while listening to Janet's explanation, Aser suddenly had an idea. Since he was going to be studying most of the time and has no intention right now to socialize, he thought it would be great to have a fixed room for himself to study in the library. 

"Can I book a study room now?"

Hearing the little boys question, Janet thought of teasing him since he looked so adorable, "Oh? Yeah I can help you rent one. The five biggest study rooms haven't been actually booked yet, but they're very expensive. 50 Silver Notes per day. The others are only 5 Silver Notes per day. Which one do you want?"

Finding out there are different types, Aser was confused why the bigger ones were so much more expensive. Asking her that, he found out exactly why. The bigger study room is less of a study room and more of a place to live! It was big enough to accommodate 10 people studying, had a bed and bookshelf to temporarily keep hold of books they took from the library, and even allowed students to use their entree tickets from the cafeteria to order food in. He felt again what was extravagance. Forget the high prices for food in the cafeteria, a library having what is basically hotel rooms is real extravagance.

Thinking practically as well, Aser knew that there were just too many books and he had a mad desire to finish with all of them as soon as he could. Looking at the bookshelves, he also realized that there were a minimum of a 100 books per bookshelf and so a minimum of 60,000 books on just the first floor! Even if he was able to finish 100 books a day without rest or any other activity, it would still take him two years at the minimum to just go through the first floor! 

He knew that he couldn't finish everything with such a low efficiency and made a note to discuss with Ashes on what he could do to increase his efficiency. 

Seeing the black haired boy thinking with such a pensive expression as if he was getting ready for battle, Janet couldn't help but want to reach out squeeze his pale cheeks. Barely being able to hold back, she suddenly heard a question she didn't know how to answer. 

"Sister Janet, can I book one of the bigger study rooms for a month?"

"What?! A month?! I, I.. I don't know if you can afford it. It's 50 Silver Notes a day, so that's 1 Gold Note every two days, which is 15 Gold Notes a month! Are you sure you want to do that?"

Nodding his small head seriously, "Yes, I know it's a shame I only have enough to book for a month right now otherwise I'd book more time. I already calculated it, can you help me make the booking Sister Janet?"

Listening to his serious reply, Janet knew the boy wasn't joking. What a farce! Even the richest profligate sons wouldn't spend so much on a study room! They would book it for a few days before exams at most! "Okay, if that's what you want.", she replied, leading him to the desk near the entrance and asking him the his information. 

Aser scanned the crystal detector with his Identity Crystal and handed the Crystal Card provided by the bank to let her process his booking. Looking over his information, Janet decided to pay extra attention into his name. Being a student herself and only a library aide, she couldn't get private information such as his evaluation results, but she could see his name. "Aser Scholt huh….", she mumbled to herself. The name seemed familiar to her but she couldn't place it at the time. Thinking back on their conversation, she thought that he was a rich second generation and probably the King of all profligate sons in Shelfield Coast City with how he was spending his money. Deciding to keep her distance from him from now on, she finished registering his information and placing the booking. 

"Room 3 of the A Grade Study Rooms. Just go up the stairs to your right and head left. You'll see the room labeled there easily.", she instructed, handing him his Identity Crystal, Crystal Chip as well as a token for the room. 

"No, that's it for now! Thank you Sister Janet!", Aser gave a shy smile while taking the token and heading out of the library. He still wanted to explore the school grounds for today and start studying later tonight so he didn't mind not going to the study room for now. 

Looking at the boy walking out of the library and not even bothering to check the study room, Janet felt even more hesitant to be in contact with such a person who was given everything. Little did she know that the boy was an orphan and had been living in an orphanage for the past 4 years. Deciding to return to her studies, she heard some of the girls walking in while gossiping, "How do you think Aser Scholt looks like? He must be super cool of he could get a Gold Standard Scholarship. I can't believe the school is increasing so many of our benefits because of him!"

Initially not paying attention to their conversation, Janet suddenly widened her eyes in disbelief when she remembered where she heard the little boy's name. Instantly all of her disdain and hesitant washed away like the tide and she decided to pay a lot more attention to the boy whenever he'd come back.

Beasts had unlocked their System during the Ancient Era, and were once the rulers of the world. A catastrophe had caused them all to go into slumber, ushering in the Venture era where humanity started leaving their settlements to explore. As civilization progressed and tensions rose, humanity fought with themselves for the large swathes of territory. Near the end of the Conquer era, the beasts started awakening from their slumber and pushed humanity to the brink of destruction. Through efforts from humanity's top leaders, the system was unlocked for man, and thus began the era of Enlightenment. 

The goal of everyone in this era is to get enlightened, to seek Ascension. Now every child, every family, every influence seek to be an Ascended like the heroes of their world. 

Aser, an Unknown child raised in an orphanage in the Southern Seas. Like others, on his 7th birthday, the system had awakened in his mind, but he realizes he's special. As he explores the mysteries of the System, our protagonist strives to excel, to prove his worth in the world of Gigantis, to find his parents and to figure out the path to Ascension.

In this forgotten part of the world, the ground was white as milk when the snowfall stopped. The ground shone like a crystal under the brilliant light of the full moon. The wind kept getting fiercer each day, trying to fight off the arrival of a new year. The water in the lakes was cold enough to chill the spine. The architecture of the place were a wreck. Most of the buildings had collapsed and the debris blocked the roads. To an outsider, it would seem that the place was dead. With toxic air, no connection with the rest of the world and buildings that looked ancient, no wonder Friction left the Nihon islands out of its reformation agenda after the Third World War. The prospect of the island sustaining life was laughed off.

"Don't trust Friction...Don't trust the INTELLIGENCE...welcome to Delta..." the voices echoed in his head as Henry woke up. It took him a moment to reorient himself. He was in a prison cell.... "no, it can't be a prison cell", Henry murmured to himself. The idea of locking people up in rooms and feeding them while the punishment was to not see anybody was considered too trivial and a waste of resources under Friction rule. All prisons were destroyed sometime in the 90s. So, were the hell was he?

"Is somebody there?" Henry tried to declare that he was awake. There was no answer. "HELLO..." shouted Henry as loudly as his rough and thirsty throat would allow. The sound of a key rustling into a lock gave Henry the confirmation that his voice was heard. A person in the Delta hoodie appeared. "Are you okay master Henry?" asked the guard as he knelt down. Henry, a master ; that was the most absurd thing he had ever heard . After being raised in an orphanage his entire life, there was no way he could be anyone's master. He suddenly remembered something from the previous night. "I think you have made some mistake. My name is Henry Parker, not Robinson and the girl with me was Janet Brown, not Smith" said Henry as politely as he could. Henry was smart. He knew when to be rough and when to be polite. At that time, he was in unknown territory. He had to make sure not to piss the wrong person. His own life was at stake. "So, you still don't remember. You will when you find the other three", chuckled the guard as he unlocked Henry's door. "The other three what?" asked a confused Henry."The keys of course, follow me" the man smirked and led the way. "Where am I exactly?" Henry tried to gather some information about the place he was at, but after that, the guard became silent. They took a series of elevators and walked down several corridors. Henry though he would try to make a mental map of the place but before they were even 1/10th of the way, he gave up."Is the place really this big or are you just fooling me by walking in circles", asked Henry innocently but again, no answer. There were many people walking along the corridors. All had the same delta hoodie and everyone carried guns. The look on their faces were serious and Henry knew that all this was not a prank. As the final elevator came to a rest, announcing the arrival at the requested floor, the guard finally broke his silence, "Miss Smith is in there too if you were wondering. I can't accompany you any further. Chief Richard is just beyond this door".  The guard pulled open the door and Henry walked into the auditorium. The auditorium was big enough to hold more than five hundred people but at the time, there were only three, him included. All sort of thoughts came into Henry's mind as he walked to the spot where Janet was. Somewhere in the back of his head, Henry knew he was dreaming. He was waiting for the point where he would wake up. "Sit down Henry" said the third person in room, whom the guard told him was some Chief Richard. Seeing that following his command was the best possible way to survive, Henry obeyed and took a seat.

"Henry and Janet, you must be wondering where you are , who I am and most importantly, why you are here" said Richard in a firm voice. "If you are wondering, yes, this has to do with the memories you received that night in the hospital". With each passing moment, the prospect of it all being a dream was getting thinner. "Could this actually be happening?", Henry wondered , still unable to process everything. A week ago, Henry was the most boring person ,perhaps, on the entire planet. His life, that was stagnant for years was completely shaken up the day Janet came into it. "Henry, are you listening", the firm voice shattered his contemplation. "Now all of what I am about to say might seem completely insane to you but I request to let me finish before you come to conclusions" Richard said with a softer voice. Henry opened the bottle of water in front of him and gulped it down as he prepared for whatever was to come next. "Janet Smith, currently recognised as Janet Brown, I am your uncle, Richard Smith. Your father , Erin Smith was my brother." Uncle Richard.... not unlike most of the things lately, the name felt familiar. "I was raised in an orphanage. If you are really my uncle, why was I raised in an orphanage? why did my father abandon me?" Janet was on the verge of tears. All this time in the orphanage, the only way she could accept her life was by believing all her family must be dead. The thought that she had living relatives and still was forced to undergo that hell was intolerable for her. Unlike Henry, whose mind just refused to register anything as real, Janet somehow found it easier to believe. The repercussions of the belief was what haunted her. "I am sorry Janet. All I can say is that it was for your safety and also probably to ensure the survival of humanity". WHAT!!! The more Henry tried to believe whatever Richard was saying, the more insane it kept getting.

"Explaining everything in one sitting will be too much to take. So, take these AR(augmented reality) lenses. Everything you would like to know will be available in there". Richard took two black boxes out of his jacket pocket and placed them on the table. "Before that however, I would like you to read this" said Richard as he gave Janet an old diary. "This is your father's diary and he wanted you to have it on your eighteenth birthday. Happy Birthday Janet". Something was different with Janet. The entire time,she didn't even look at Henry. Something fundamentally changed inside her when Richard's relation to Janet was disclosed. Her attitude seemed like the silence before a storm. "That would be all" the firm voice was back. "You still haven't answered where we are" asked Henry still glued to his seat. Janet , with her hand on the knob of the door, stopped to listen. "We are in an underground Delta facility of the Nihon islands. Just as I said, every piece of information is available in there. Welcome to Delta". Richard opened a secret door behind him and slipped out. The guard entered and accompanied them to their rooms.

Tears rolled down her cheeks as she finished the final page of her father's diary. The last words were "Happy Birthday Janet". It was written on the day of her fifteenth birthday. She was glad she read it on the same day, three years later. The diary was not a source of information. It was a compilation of his life. As she read through the diary , she felt like she was there, right beside his father as he went around the world. When she ended the diary, there was a hollowness in her chest. "This must be what people feel when a loved one dies" she thought to herself. There was no evidence that what Richard said was true in the slightest. But Janet found it easy to believe what he said and have an origin story rather than rejecting it and being the unknown girl she has always been. She decided to believe that abandoning her was for the greater good. She went to sleep convinced that birthdays might not be boring after all. 

Henry, in his room, found it hard to believe whatever he heard. Even if Janet was a "world savior", what role did Henry have in it. There were so many questions. "Only one to find out", said Henry to himself as he opened the black box. As he put on the lenses, he could feel a tingling sensation all over his body. Suddenly, a message appeared in thin air "MISSING AUDIO LINK". Henry thought he might find an instruction manual somewhere in the box but when he looked for it, what he found was a pair of earpieces. As he plugged them on, the error message disappeared and another message appeared : "Link Success !!! Welcome Henry Robinson". After 5 seconds, the message disappeared and an entire set of options appeared.

Henry raised his right hand to touch the third option. Suddenly, the menu changed again.

The first three options looked like the chapters in his history book. The other names were fancy but had no meaning for him. He remembered that the guard said something about the other three keys and thought this must be something about that.

Without much delay, he raised his hand to select the first option. His hand went right through the text and nothing happened. "What the hell", he remarked

"Your current brain state is below 80% efficiency. As per security protocol, you are currently not eligible to access the information." said a voice in his ear. "So, what do I do?" asked Henry, to no one in particular. "Your options are caffeine and sleep. Although I would recommend sleep as it's 11:55 PM already".

Henry took off his lenses and earpieces, kept them in the box and murmured "Happy Birthday Janet" to himself before he went to sleep.

In the year 2101, Science is the only religion and Friction, the only ruler.

Justice system as we know it, is obsolete and the AI "GRID" makes the rules.

World is progressing at a rate that is unheard of in history. But history itself is something that the people don't completely recall.

* This is my first time writing something so please keep it in mind while judging. I am a student and at times, if I have work to do, chapters might get a little delayed. So bear with me.

The guard in the black suit costume pushed lightly on Lexi's shoulder, enough to push her out from the hospital-like building.
Lexi staggered for a bit before she regained her footing again. With a mad face, she turned her head to the guard. A few moments later she averted her eyes to somewhere else.
She was no longer mad. Instead she was calmer than before.
Lexi looked around her and she realized that she was not in the same place like in the 21st century anymore. Instead she was inside a place with a big building with advanced technologies.
Whether it was on the ground or on the air, much weird and advanced transportation was moving here and there.
Lexi opened her mouth in awe. She never expected that she would transmigrate into a place like this.
After she woke up and the guard brought her to her changing room, Lexi began to think about everything that happened to her.
Lexi believed she was transmigrating into another body with the same name.
The owner of this body is also named as Lexi and she was actually a young girl with 16 years old. In the past, Lexi was almost 27 years old. She should be 27 years old when Luke confessed to her.
Thinking about Luke, it makes Lexi feel a bit guilty.
Anyway, the original Lexi was already dead when she was doing a job: being a Racer and also a Guardian in the Deadly Car Racing.
From the memory of the original body, this century has one extremely famous yet dangerous job called The Deadly Car Racing. It was extremely dangerous and each road was filled with many kinds of dangerous things. Many car racers have died in this job but no one cares about their life as the payment was really worthy.
In this Deadly Car Racing, a team must be established. There is no limited number of members as long as the requirements for a team establishment are followed.
Inside a team, there must be six important positions to be completed; Racer, Guardian, Fighter, Hacker, Paramedic and Mechanic.
The original Lexi died when a large machine hit her and buried her deep into the ground.
"I couldn't believe she would die just like that, just because of the hit...*cough* *cough* that's truly shameful," Lexi snorted while crossing her hands onto her big chest.
The hospital-like building she just stepped out a few moments later is a hospital provided for all the people who wounded or died from the Car Racing. Since the technologies were too advanced in this century, the doctors inside the hospital didn't really feel weird when they saw Lexi wake up from the dead because with the current technologies, they can even revive back the dead.
If they know that the original Lexi is already dead and the current Lexi is occupying this body now, they might be...
Well, Lexi also wants to know what their reaction is as well.
The original Lexi has a younger brother, his age is 10 years old. His name is Oscar Sydney. Besides the blood-relative younger brother, Lexi also has a stepmother; Janet Thomas. Janet wasn't Lexi's real stepmother as she never married to her father but Janet already took care of Lexi and Oscar as her own children since they were little.
Lexi and Oscar lost their family around 9 years ago, where there was a war between the Tanggol Nation and the enemy neighbourhood, the Iron Sun Nation. After two years, the Deadly Car Racing became famous between these two countries.
Tanggol Nation is the current Nation where Lexi was transmigrated into. Tanggol Nation was a big nation which was surrounded by tall and strong walls which were made by the strongest metal in this century. This wall is called the High Sky Wall; the height is taller than the Everest Mountain in the 21st century.
The place outside of the High Sky Wall is where the racing car takes places; the Deadly Racing Territory.
Whilst inside the High Sky Wall, the Tanggol Nation is divided into six cities; City A, City B, City C, City D, City E and City F.
The current city where her family and Lexi lived is inside the City E. Since the previous owner has a little yet happy family, Lexi should cherish them too and help the family to live in a better place.
Even though this wasn't the 21st century and has advanced technologies, it didn't perish the racism between the socials of the people. The people still have the same thinking which is; the poor or weak people live their life like a hell while the wealthy and strong people can do whatever they want. This means that if the people are weak or poor, they could only live in an average state.
Lexi's family hasn't been rich since the beginning and Janet only depends on her payment as a housewife for their food each day. In this century, although you are just an unemployed person, you still paid at least 100 Silver each week.
(Types of money; Gold, Silver and Copper. 1 Gold: 100 Silver. 1 Silver: 100 Copper.)
With the memory of the original owner, Lexi found her way back home. She walked through all the streets and she watched everything at her sight.
The people from this century have so many different shapes and colours from the 21st century. If Lexi never watched the movie of Guardian Galaxy, she would probably faint due to the different colour of the people's skin. These people actually have the same shape and colour from the Guardian Galaxy. Except they had more advanced technologies; *like the movies of Alita; The Battle of Angel* *Coughs*....
'Am I really in the real world... Or did I transmigrate into some kind of books or games? I have read many books about transmigration that transmigrated into books or games. Nah, I don't think so... I didn't have any memory about movies or books or games about places like this. Even the Deadly Car Racing also looks new to me...'
Lexi walked through one of the streets where business is around here full of restaurants. Just when she smells one of the food scents, she feels as if she wants to puke.
That smell is really disgusting...!!

Lexi become one of the car racer and she was very excited to this new adventure. Because this Deadly Car Racing is 1000x not normal.

By hiding her identity, she become the renown and feared racer.

She is after all the Dark Rosette.

" You booked the entire thing?" Silvia asked.

Guiding her towards the ferry, Kevin said," You ask too many questions Silvia. How many times do I have to tell you to stop thinking and just enjoy?"

" We could've just the public once." Silvia said.

" Just relax." Kevin said.

" We shouldn't waste money like this Kev. We should start saving for the future. We will kids later and you know how expensive things are." Silvia said.

Kevin smiled and said," You don't have to worry about our future because I have everything planned. And it's good to know that you are thinking about having kids with me."

" I was just thinking." Silvia said.

Kevin chuckled and said," Don't worry we will definitely have kids when the right time comes."

After stepping into the private ferry, the left Malè for their next destination, Fihalhohi Island.

Inside a cafe.

" Ah this is beautiful. Thank you so much Martha." Janet said.

" I am glad you liked it. And I got one for Silvia too." Martha said.

Janet chuckled and said," Silvia is having fun right now I guess."

" You are right." Martha said.

" I am happy for her." Janet said.

" How long have you both known each other?" Martha asked.

" Ron, Silvia and I have been friends since kindergarten." Janet said.

" That is a long time." Martha said.

" We have always been together though Ron was not with us for two years." Janet said.

" What do you mean?" Martha asked.

" Oh when we turned fourteen, Ron left high school and came back after two years." Janet said.

" Why?" Martha asked.

Janet shook her head and said," I don't know. We did ask him but he said that he has some problems in his family so Sil and I did not pursue the matter any further. Apart from those two years, we have always been together." 

" Was he always a gay? I mean I still cannot take in the fact that he is a gay." Martha said.

" He was alright when we were in high school in fact he even dated a few girls before but then one day he suddenly told us that he is not interested in girls anymore and wants to date guys. We were a bit shocked at first but later we decided to support him no matter what." Janet said.

" Ron is too handsome to be a gay." Martha said.

" I know right. You know this is funny, Silvia and I even tried to test him. We took him to strip clubs, made hookers lap dance on him, locked him up in a room with a hooker but nope nothing happened." Janet said.

" Strip club? Are you serious?" Martha asked.

" Oh we have done weird things together." Janet said.

After talking to each other for quite some time, Janet and Martha decided to call Silvia to check on her.

Silvia was eating some snacks that Kevin she brought for her when she received a call from Janet.

" Hey Sil." Janet and Martha said together.

" You both are together?" Silvia asked.

" Yes, we are having coffee together." Martha said.

" Ahh look at you both having fun without me around." Silvia said.

" You are having fun with your husband so I guess we are equal." Janet said.

" Where are you now?" Martha asked.

" We are going to the Fihalhohi Islands." Silvia said.

" Oh my God Sil that is like the most romantic island of Maldives." Martha said.

" Really?" Silvia asked.

" Yes, you can check it on the Internet." Martha said.

" Hey did you and Kevin do it last night?" Janet asked.

Silvia cleared her throat and said," No."

" Great now you should surely do it on Fihalhohi." Martha said.

" Exactly how long are you planning to stretch it? And I don't understand how can you both restrain yourselves so much?" Janet asked.

" Ya, restraining so much isn't good for health." Martha said.

" Alright, I'll send a few videos watch them and just pick up a few good moves okay?" Janet said.

" I'll send a few too but I don't think you have to do anything." Martha said.

" But she can't just let Kevin do all the work." Janet said.

" Yes just pick out a few good moves up." Martha said.

" Do you think they will work?" Silvia asked.

" Why not? Just watch the videos okay? I'll send it to you after I reach home." Janet said.

" I have it in my laptop so even I'll send it to you after I reach home." Martha said.

" Alright." Silvia said before hanging up the call.

" Who was it?" Kevin asked who was reading a few important mails.

" Jan and Martha." Silvia said.

" We are about to reach." Kevin said before shifting closer.

Pulling her closer, Kevin said," It's late so let's rest tonight and then we can go out tomorrow okay?"

" You are my tour guide." Silvia said.

Rocky's apartment.

" And you are telling me this now?" Janet asked with her arms crossed in the front.

Rocky scratched his head and said," It's just a casual meeting."

" Meeting a boyfriend's parents is not casual and can never be casual." Janet said.

" They are really nice people, especially my mom, you are going to love her." Rocky said.

Janet took a deep breath and said," I am nervous Rock."

Rocky pulled her into his embrace and said," Its fine okay? They won't eat you up. They are good people."

" What if they don't like me?" Janet said.

" And why would they not like you? You are beautiful and kind. And only I have to like and love you. Even if they don't who cares?" Rocky said.

" What should I wear?" Janet asked.

Chapter 13

"There isn't anything I or your uncle Sota can say or do for you to change your mind about this?" Alexis asked Saya.

Saya shook her head firmly.

"Fine. Before we head out to meet your mentor you need to sign your contract and some legal notices. Read them over first."

Alexis handed Saya a yellow folder stack to the brim with papers. She glanced at each paper quickly but carefully, writing her signature when needed. The internship contract with North Star Hospital was only a few pages long, detailing her function as an intern. She was to shadow a forensic pathologist working in conjunction with the hospital and police department. Besides some clerical work like transcribing the pathologist's audio notes into the shared system of North Star Hospital and the North Star Police Department, her main job was to observe and learn.

Saya got to the last page of her contract and was curious why the legal notices far outweigh her contract. Reading the notices carefully the first few pages were standard. The hospital and police department would not be responsible for any potential harm acquired during the length of the internship program. But as Saya read on, the legal notices got interesting. 

'North Star Hospital, North Star Police Department, or any other North Star affiliated company/program/employees are not responsible for any emotional or psychological harm caused by normal work environment [sexual harassment excluded]. Signing these documents is a legal binding agreement to terms and conditions.'

The rest of the notices were filled with more legal mumbo jumbo basically releasing North Star and all its affiliate from the responsibility which is pretty typical and standard. However, Saya has never seen such a legal agreement that was so detailed, specific, and binding for a simple internship. She wasn't even getting paid for this! It got her really curious about the story behind it.

"Auntie Alexis why is the legal notice so irrevocable for a non-paying internship," Saya asked.

A complicated look past Alexis' face.

"Well you see…..our lead forensic pathologist is a bit strange…..he's the best in his field and he's a genius and anyone would be lucky to study under him. A month with him is equivalent to going to school for six months…..he's one of a kind…..and he's also brash...and rude...and cocky...and mean...and...and…..he made all his interns quit within a month," Alexis reluctantly explained.

"Let me guess, those interns filed a lawsuit for emotional trauma?"

Saya's question was met with silence, confirming her suspicions.

"Don't worry you won't be working under him. If this wasn't a teaching hospital and if he wasn't the best in his field the hospital wouldn't even think twice about making him teach anyone, interns or students," Alexis said.

A student position job was different from an internship. For instance, unlike an internship, a student position came with a paycheck. With the hospital being an accredited teaching hospital and the university being an affiliate, many students in the medical and science field opted to work there for the valuable experience. Student jobs were reserved for students in their 4th year of college and were selected based on their academic performance. Internship positions were usually held by second and third-year students. It was rare for a first-year like Saya to receive an internship position. But due to her academic performance and her perfect college entrance score she was able to secure a spot.

"Why can't I work under him? I want to work with the best and if he's really the best then I don't mind his arrogance. Auntie Alexis I don't want you to give me preferential treatment. I want to get by on my own hard work and skills. Please let me be his intern," Saya begged.

"Okay but don't say I didn't try to warn you later."

Alexis led Saya out of her office and back into the hallway where she first met with the bubbly secretary, Janet.

"Janet, I'm going to take my goddaughter Saya to the forensic department and show her around. I've directed my calls to your line. Call me on my cell phone if there's an emergency," Alexis instructed.

"Of course Chief Kudo," replied Janet.

The two made their way to the elevator, pressing the button for the ground floor. Alexis and Saya exited the elevator and made their way towards the far end of the hallway. Stopping by the receptionist, Alexis signed in by pressing her thumb against the fingerprint scanner. The small rectangular device lit green and the receptionist behind the computer pressed a button to automatically open the door. Before entering Alexis asked the receptionist, "Is the ID for Saya Summers ready?"

Opening a locked drawer to her side the receptionist grabbed the ID.

"Here it is Chief Kudo. Her information has also been entered into our system and she was given a level 2 clearance. She has access to most buildings and files in our system," said the receptionist, handing Saya's ID to Alexis.

Alexis handed the ID to Saya and they entered through the unlocked door where they reached another hallway with a locked door, this time manned by two police officers. Saya analyzed the two police officers. She could tell by the stripes on their uniform that they were newly recruited and recent graduates of the police academy. They were just starting out so they were at the bottom of the barrel doing scat work like this one. Their posture and mannerisms showed their lack of experience. The police officers scanned Saya's and Alexis's IDs and with a beep of acceptance from their machines the doors were opened.

North Star Hospital, or NSH for short was no simple hospital. They held some of the top surgeons in Zion city. But besides operating as a top-notch teaching hospital, they also boasted the best forensic criminology department in the city. The forensic department worked solely and directly with the North Star Police Department. The two worked in a state of symbiosis.

Retrieving their ID's Saya and her aunt proceeded to move along when they were interrupted by the ringing of Alexis's cell phone.

"Hello.... Oh..... Okay, Janet. Please inform the staff that I'll be right there."

Hanging up, Alexis turned to Saya and said, "Sorry sweetie I have to go. That was Janet, she said that Chie Miller's parents are getting agitated. Chie is still undergoing surgery and the neurosurgeon has found the bleeding but its in a difficult area to operate. When the scrub nurse updated her parents about her situation the father got really upset and now the staff is worried that he'll cause a scene. Not that I can blame him. I can't even imagine what those poor parents are going through. I need to go and try to pacify the situation."

"It's okay auntie, go and calm the parents down. I'll be fine on my own. I'll just take a quick look around. You can introduce me to my mentor another day. I don't start my internship until next week anyway," Saya said.

Alexis nodded her head and with an apologetic glance, she walked away leaving Saya to walk in the opposite direction. Saya studied the led interactive screen showing the map of the forensic department. Her eyes scanned the map as her mind rapidly memorize the positions of the department's labs, classroom, morgue, etc. She made her way to the elevator and pressed one of the only two buttons.

The level she was previously on held the classrooms used for teaching, the different labs used for analyzing evidence, and the evidence room for ongoing cases. Saya took the elevator for the underground level that held the morgue where the forensic pathologists also possessing doctorate degrees perform autopsies.

Coming out of the elevator, Saya stopped in her tracks after hearing two people in a heated argument. She hid in the corner trying to make herself disappear. She did not want to get in between two spatting lovebirds.

"I told you before that promise was made between our parents. I was still a fetus when they made the promise to marry me to you. I had no choice in the matter! I don't plan on going through with this sham engagement. I don't know how many times I have to say this, I've never liked you and I never will!"

'Ouch, that's harsh,' thought Saya. The harsh man was handsome, chiseled perfectly, with unnatural grey locks dyed with streaks of blue. Those streaks of deep blue matched his left eye while the grey paired with his right. He had heterochromia, different colored eyes. The hair, his eyes, and that angelic face made him unnaturally handsome beyond compare.

'Well almost beyond compare,' Saya thought as a familiar figure flashed through her mind.

"How can you be sure of your feelings if you haven't tried dating me yet! We have known each other since we were little and I've loved you since forever! Please give me a chance. No one else can love you as much as I do! I promise to do everything to make you happy!" the girl begged relentlessly. 

"You know what would make me happy? If you stop this nonsense and leave me alone. For the sake of our family's friendship I've been holding back but you are testing my limits!"

Saya cringed and was getting second-hand embarrassment listening to the two. She now understood the man's harshness, it seems like nothing he says will get through the girl's head. What she thought was a lover's quarrel turned out to be a one-sided love. She tried to make herself as small as possible, almost hugging the wall, wondering if she would be noticed if she tried to make her way back to the elevator.

Saya could only see the girl's back but from the rigid stance, she could tell she wasn't giving up.

"You haven't dated anyone at all! I know I'm the one most suited to you. I'm beautiful and smart, and our family are close! We're meant to be together," she stated shamelessly.

"How do you know I haven't dated anyone? There's my girlfriend now!" he exclaimed pointing to Saya who was hiding in the corner.

'What girlfriend?!', Saya thought, looking behind her, not noticing the man approaching her rapidly.

Before she could realize what was happening she was crushed between the wall and the man's tall frame. He held her small frame in place, bringing his face down to her level and capturing her lips with his.

Saya Summers isn’t your average girl. Her parents being famous and well sought after private detectives, she didn’t have the normal childhood most people had. While most little girls were playing tea time and braiding doll hair, Saya was learning investigative techniques and traveling all over the country catching criminals with her parents.

While her upbringing wasn’t conventional, Saya has always been different from the start and was never able to connect with kids her own age. That was until one summer when she met Haru. The beautiful boy with sad eyes. She felt a connection with him from the start, and he the same. They made a promise to meet and spend every summer together. Deepening their bond of friendship with each summer passing.

The summer before their high school, the two finally confessed their growing feelings toward one another. And as a result, Saya asked her family to settle down so she could attend North Star High School with Haru. For two years, everything was perfect. Saya had it all. A loving family, great friends, and the love of her life. Until one stormy night changed everything. She was betrayed, hurt by the very person she trusted the most. The boy she loved. The boy she gave everything too. So she ran away.

After two years of mending her broken heart, Saya returned, to attend the college of her dreams. The only problem was that it was the same college Haru would be attending. What will Saya do when confronted by her past love?

Author’s note: Please be advised mature content. This is a modern romantic mystery set in an alternate world. Sensitive materials such as s*x, r*pe, and violence will occur in the storyline. BUT there will be NO “forceful s*x” between the main characters.

In the workshop, she met Deriga. She stood in the middle and didn't dare to move a step.
"What's up, dear?"
"It feels like a holy place!"
Flora shrugged.
"The buffs are still active because our real bodies reside in the consecrated space."
"No, I mean, it feels like the Goddess walked this room. I can feel the aura of Evailyn."
"Oh. Yes, I can explain that. Let's go to the simulation grounds first. What kind of fighting do you practice?"
"Fighting?"
"Yes, what do you do to protect yourself if your mana has run out?"
"I run away screaming? I mean, I pray, of course!"
Flora waved Deriga over to the dummies. 
"Just hit them with your fists."
After activating the plasma sword and setting plasma sword fighting on auto mode, Flora watched her movements.  After a while, she chose a diagonal slash that had a significant hip movement for linking the skill plasma sword dance to it. 
Then she watched for a while to be sure her plan worked. The first part went well enough. Her body trashed the dummy, and when it performed the diagonal slash, the skill got activated. But after the Plasma-Sword-Dance ended, her body stood around dumbly. Just when Flora wanted to change things up, the dummy attacked her with its ax. Her body started moving again, fighting with the plasma sword.
Now, she configured the simulation grounds. She built a cliff above the sea. A cursed cliff! Because she wanted to level faith and climbing and swimming and diving and ... Okay, she wanted to level a thousand things. On a ledge, she put the bed and in a cave the library container and a few blade-rollers. Then she saved this configuration. Then she added a small pool with a connection to a hot spring and hit save again. She had gotten used to having a jacuzzi and wouldn't want to miss it.
"Concentrate on hitting the dummy with the intention never to stop hitting it, dear!"
At last, she copied Deriga and herself.
"Great!" Flora exclaimed, watching her debuffs.

Flora connected the library-container and one blade-roller. 
First, she cast the skills on the container.

A happy gurgling noise came from Aitoshuri, and the pages turned faster.

"Then you wouldn't mind, giving me the book on runes back for the duration?" Flora was embarrassed about asking, but her desire to dive into the world of runes won out.
"Sure." Deriga pulled it out of her satchel.
Immediately, Flora dove into the book. It was a beginner's guide to runecraft. It started with what materials were suitable to write or carve them. Basically, everything but metal had merits, especially stones. The book recommended a chalkboard to train and preparing healing potions for unexpected effects.
Flora raised her eyebrows. She didn't know that runes were dangerous! On the other hand, if you are reckless enough, everything is perilous. 
When you used only one rune, the rune functioned as a verb. Here the first rune was introduced: Garmee. It meant heat, warmth, welcome, and half a dozen barely connected things. Its looks reminded Flora of a toast, hugging itself. 
When it was standing alone, and you channeled mana in it, the rune got warm or was heating up.
When you combined it with a second rune, the effect depended on the position those runes where ordered. For example, combining it with Visphot, looking like a mixer, which meant shot, blast, gust, spear, ball, explosion, and other things: either a gust of hot air would blow to you, when a bullet passed the scope the shot would heat up or the rune would heat up or nothing would happen. 
"Auntie Flow, I'm dying." Deriga sounded composed, considering the message.
"From what? Boredom?"
"From the debuff 'Unwelcome'"

Immediately, Flora hit her with Refresh.
"The debuff isn't that bad yet. If you want, I'll teach you Refresh, that's a spell to boost regeneration."
"Thank you very much, but I'm already at the spell limit."
"There is a limit to how many spells you can learn?" Flora asked, alarmed. If she had known that before, she would have taken a more selective approach.
"Yes, I'm C-rated. Hence I can learn three skills. Every time I level up a tier or my RGC (recommended group size) rises, I have the chance to learn a new one and, of course, if my rating goes up."
Aidan to Flora: "Only NPCs have restrictions on the number of skills, Milady."
"Terrible, dear! Most terrible! On earth, we don't have any magic skills, but you can as many abilities as your time and talents and resources allow. It's not as bad when nobody has magic as when you have less than others."
"Being C-rated is a burden on its own. Normal people are abundant, they can only learn one mana skill, but they are allowed to choose it most times. The C-rated people are called soldiers because we are useful enough that the As and Bs order us around." Deriga's shoulder slumped.
"But what about the "E" the weak category? I can imagine they have it worse."
"Yes, many don't survive childhood, end up in orphanages or gangs because their family rejects them. There is a proverb: 'When an A sneezes, an E dies.'" Deriga said with a monotonous voice.
Flora hadn't thought about what it meant that your rating is evident to the whole world and that it profoundly affected your options. 
"Formerly, I looked at it the other way around, that you get rated for what you are capable of and not that your rating limits you. But maybe I wasn't totally wrong! You mentioned that your rating could go up?"
"Yes, but it's a laborious process. We call it 'breaking the ceiling'. You have to train like crazy and prove yourself through accomplishments."
"Great! Then you are exactly right here! This simulation ground trains your faith, your physical regeneration, and your physical vigor! And helping to establish a new place of worship for our Goddess is a huge achievement!"

For a moment, Deriga perked up, but then she sank back and shrugged.
Flora figured out with Aidan's help how to sent a party invitation to Deriga.
"It's not to celebrate, dear, but that I can see your health to heal you better," Flora added to prevent a misunderstanding only she would have.
"Aidan, supply me with a description of all my healing spells and defensive measures. Anything that helps."
Refresh was still on cooldown. Not only had Deriga just half her health left, but it and Flora's too were sinking.
"I added the duration, affinity effect, and mana-cost, Milady, and sorted them into three categories."

As soon as Flora read the description of Thaumaturgy, she cast it.

A golden light came down on the group, including the two robots, washed over them and vanished.

Flora noticed that not only were all the debuffs from the unholy cliff gone, but Deriga's posture shifted, and the veil in front of her eyes vanished.
After Flora finished reading the list, she cast refresh again and then instructed Aito on the notifications she wanted to have. Before she had worked with audio, but now that her spell arsenal had increased, she didn't want to learn different audio signals for each spell. 
There was a display of cooldown timers on her HUD, but they showed the spells on CD. Flora activated a feature that when the timer ticked to zero, the skill name would be highlighted by it, and a soft chime rang.

"Feeling better, dear?"
"Yes, auntie. I'm sorry. I'm usually not that whiny."
"It was the aura of this unholy place. When the feeling comes again, press against it with your faith!" Flora spent a second thinking about whether this place affected her mood, but found it impossible to judge. Instead, she concentrated on the practical aspects like keeping them both alive. "Is it impolite to ask what skills you have mastered?"
"Yes, but I tell you nevertheless. Every novice learns to Pray. The other two spells are randomly assigned. I got Levitate and Smite." Deriga shrugged. "That means I will be appointed to some missions where a clerical damage dealer is needed or maybe to the protection of a temple."
"Alright, with Pray, you have one tool to replenish your health. And I have the other priest spells and Refresh. That has to suffice to keep us alive. I underestimated the stacking of the debuffs. Initially, I configured the unholiness to be active while I sleep, but it's too strong for that."
"Oh, I do have another option to replenish health!" Deriga fetched scepter from her satchel. "I never saw you use any focusses. Is that another Earthling advantage?"
Flora was stumped. First, she didn't even know with what question to begin.
"What is a focus?" 
Now, it was Deriga's turn to be baffled, but she recovered faster than Flora. "It's a weapon to enhance prayers and magic. Besides that, you can use it to transform your mana into attacks or heals. 
There are three major types of focusses: elemental supporting magical power, arcane supporting magical macro-control, and intent supporting magical micro-control skills. 
An example of an elemental focus is a Wand of Fire. After you bind it, you can shoot little fireballs from it using only a sliver of mana. 
My scepter is an intent-focus. It's the standard weapon for C-rated tier-1 novices."
Deriga gave it to Flora.

Abruptly, Flora closed the window and opened the book instead.

Flora took her Multitool from her belt and approached the Library-Container.
"*Miep*! *Beep*, *Beep*!" Aitoshuri protested, albeit timidly.  
"The shelve is empty, dear. Before we get enough books to fill it, we get a new one."
Flora cut the wood and gave a part to Deriga and took one for herself.
The two women sat side by side, carved, chatted about the church, and healed each other.
Because Flora was eager to try out the focus, she rushed:

"You have to account, that Bless and Condemn is an AOE-Skill, Milady. When you are in a group, everybody in range gets the 20 HP health, and every enemy receives 20 damage. Furthermore, your intent-focus has no secondary effect."
"Please explain secondary effects," Flora said after casting Pray with Scepter.
"A secondary effect is an effect besides the heal or damage. It can be buffs or debuffs. They get triggered by a myriad of reasons, but relevant in this case are the effects of the affinities. When not resisted, enemies get cold from ice, burn from fire, get poisoned from wood, and get more damage and less micro-control from faith.
The secondary effect of your healing spells for water is a chance to remove debuffs and for faith, receive less damage and get a micro control buff. The usual duration for those effects is 10 seconds, but because faith combats faith directly, it removes stacks of the debuff."
"Ah, that's why I haven't seen a separate buff!" 
Meanwhile, Flora had started on the next scepter.
Their plans for the church made good progress as well. Deriga had prepared a list of rooms she wanted to add. One storeroom, two offices, two bedrooms, a library, and a file-room. The main-area she divided into an exhibition part for earthling home appliances and a ceremonial part for the worship and ceremonies.

After a few hours, they went through all the topics and a few more shelves to Aitoshuri's dismay.
"I'm ready for bed!" Flora said, yawning.
Deriga nodded and started to fidget. "Auntie?"
"Yes, dear."
"Can I sleep here as well?" Deriga blushed.
"Okay, but I warn you, I snore horribly!"
Flora cast her consciousness back to the workshop and copied a bed for Deriga and reloaded the Library Container with all its shelves. Then she fiddled with the degree of unholiness.

Flora bought the blueprint and assembled the turret in high-speed mode. Then she put three copies in the simulation-grounds along with two copies of the wet-suit and the Stehaufmänchen.
Back in the simulation-ground, she gave Deriga the jack for one of the turrets and connected the other two to her nocks.
Opening her stat window, she made Aidan change the auto-mode binding in the training coffin to Energy-Choke. Force-Field was with level 34 high enough.
"We have a mana surplus, Milady."
"Get creative, dear," Flora mumbled tiredly.
While analyzing her stat gains in the last two days, she fell asleep.

After Flora Fluss burns down the kitchen, her son insists she is too old to live alone. She's got two choices. Either move into a retirement home or spend the rest of her life within a virtual reality game governed by society's most advanced artificial intelligence. When you've worked a lifetime as an engineer for home appliances, naturally, you go with the option that has more toasters. 
Soon, Flora finds out that the virtual world is more familiar than she thought. Though, it takes her a while to get used to the idea that tanks don't hold water or oil but the aggro of mobs.

Janet observed quietly and held up Yuki's hair. "Oh wow. Your hair feels like silk. That is amazing. I am so happy right now. As a hairstylist, it is not every day that I get to touch hair that is like yours!"

"Thank you. I just wash it with whatever Cedric brings for me to use. As for the oils I usually use orange, lavender, and cinnamon. If I don't use lavender then I use lemon or lime sometimes both. Would you like the honor of styling my hair before I go out, Janet?" Yuki stood still and could feel Michelle's eyes scanning the dress carefully. 

"Michelle, would you allow me to do that? I would really love to style hair as beautiful as this?" Janet ran her hands through Yuki's hair and started to think of different styles. 

"I do not mind but the one you will need permission from is the one outside the door. The one that you saw me standing close to and probably took it the wrong way. Cedric and I are old friends. This girl is his bride to be." Michelle finished looking at the back and looked at Yuki's blushing face. 

"Okay, this dress is perfect and I am completely satisfied with the results. Janet if you get permission I will also let you style her hair on the actual wedding day." Michelle sighed in relief.

"Does that mean you will let me help style the veil for the dress?" Janet let Yuki's hair down and looked at Michelle's facial expression. 

"I will need assistance on the day of my wedding getting into the dress and I am comfortable with you so I am sure Cedric would allow me to have a female companion help me out." Yuki turned and looked at The two, "Michelle do you had another dress I could wear for my date today? I was thinking that I do indeed love that dress but I was thinking that something else might be nice to wear." 

"Yes, as long as both give permission I do not mind, Janet. Yuki I do have a lot of dresses that I could pull out so I can get you anything that your heart desires." Michelle took a step back and smiled happily.

"Thank you, thank you. I am so happy that I took the job here. I thought that you would reject me like all the other stores because I didn't know how to smile in the beginning but you let me stay and work here. It would be my honor to help you on your big day. I will get permission for your husband to be." Janet hopped away and went to the door. She closed it so that Cedric wouldn't be able to see Yuki in the dress. "Sir, I have a question for you." 

"Alright, if I have the answer then I will tell you. What is it that you would like to know?" Cedric was still leaning on the wall where he and Michelle were chatting.

"If you do not mind, would I be able to style Yuki's hair? I would like to help her out and if there is a style that you want to see then I will do my best to create that for you. I am so happy to work with someone that had no issues with how I did up the dress." Janet smiled and waited for a reply.

"I think I know what the dress is now. Luna is crafty but smart. Here's the deal. If Yuki agrees to let you help then I have absolutely no issues. It would be nice if she made another friend. Janet, what type of supernatural are you?" Cedric looked at the lady with a questioning gaze.

"That was rather direct. I am a witch but I would never do anything to harm another supernatural and I do like Yuki." Janet started thinking and looked at Cedric and came to realize who they both were. "I am sorry that I didn't notice it before. I was told as long as you agreed I could help earlier but now that I know who you two are I am even happier. I will do anything to stay in your good books." She curtsies deeply to him.

"It is good that you now know who I am and who she is but do not say anything to anyone and when the time is right I will ask you to help her. She is my girl and I want nothing bad to happen to her. Style her hair in a way so that if I want to fuck her I can hold onto her hair easily." Cedric closed his eyes and licked his lips.

"As you wish!" Janet got up and went back into the room waving her hands happily. "I'm back and I was granted permission."

Michelle pulled out a different black bag and hung it up on the hanger. She unzipped the zipper and a pale blue dress was to be seen. The top part was a lace panel with a high waist and short sleeves. The waistline there was a belt that matched the dress but had a silver-colored buckle. The skirt had two parts where the underlining was just a slip that came down to knee length and the top layer was a see-through fabric that came down past the slip by about five centimeters. "How do you feel about this one?" 

"It is not a color that Cedric is used to seeing me wear. I think that it will look fantastic. Thank you very much, Michelle." Yuki smiled at the dress.

Janet walked over and looked at the dress in wonder, "That is a perfect dress to go on a date in. Yuki, I am your personal hairdresser for as long as I live." She curtsied to Yuki and then got up and was smiling. "Are you able to adjust your hair color? Do not worry I am a supernatural but I am a witch and not a vampire." 

"I am glad that you approve, Yuki." Michelle looked at Janet in surprise. "Tsk. I did not know that you were one of us. If I had known I would've used you first. As you would know everything that is going on and I would not need to worry about you blabbing."

The world belongs to the humans but what they do not know is that in the dark hours of the night there is a slave market that happens in the woods. No one knows about it except those that are wealthy and pay a fee for the membership. As the slave market moves from town to town, finally they reach its destination where they call up the buyer letting him know that they have arrived with some intriguing goods that he might be interested in. 

The slave that was bought from the Slave Market in the middle of the night was taken to her new home by her first Master. She feels safe with him but doesn’t remember anything from her past and doesn’t know what secrets lurk in her mind. 

The Master that bought a new toy thought since she was what he was looking for. He hoped that she would last longer than the rest but what he didn’t expect was the past to come back to him after a hundred years without it. With his new memories he softens up but only for her as she is now his everything, he will stop at nothing to protect her and help each other remember their past together.

"Just who do you think you are? I will get you thrown out of this area if you continue to loiter around here. I was just having a chat with my soon to be man when you interrupted me." The girl pointed at Yuki blaming her.

"Darling, were you going to pick up someone else when you already have me by your side?" Yuki turned and pressed her body up against his side. She rubbed her chest on his side to show that he was hers.

"You know that I can not replace you, Liliana. I was only telling these ladies that they couldn't have the purse that I specially ordered for you." He moved his hand to her ass and squeezed.

The ladies looked embarrassed for a moment. "No, I will get what I want. I want that man and that purse!" The lady screamed and her face turned beet red.

Yuki turned her head over, "you can not control someone's feelings. You can not compare to me in any way shape or form." Yuki turned her head away shapely.

"Oh is that so. THEN I CHALLENGE YOU TO A BEAUTY CONTEST!! There is a competition for the queen of the beach today and if you win I will leave you alone and bow down to you but if I win I want that purse and your man!"

While Matt look at Janet who stopped crying she said oh my god your life is so hard"

"No it's not," Matt said to her and then he added after a deep breath "could you not tell anybody about it"

"Of course," she said while looking at him. While she been doing it Matt take tissue from his pocket and after cleaning her face he said "they will see it"

"I don't care about what other people talk about me, "Janet said while looking at Matt and then she said "if you will need some help ask me"

"oh don't worry I have a plan on work but now I need to end school and later when I start going slowly in the hierarchy I will somehow deal with him," Matt said 

"Oh its good plan," she said 

"Yes right now he is too powerful," Matt said while looking at her and then he said "could you left me alone right now"

"Ok," Janet said while taking her bag and walking back. While she went Matt said "safe line"

"Yes," Andy answered him while he makes safe like some time ago for the only Matt and while he looked at Ann and Kevin around him. While hearing it Matt said "you hear everything"

"Yes," Andy said 

"Good and I don't need any help now so don't dip in it," Matt said while sitting on the ground and then he takes his pills to calm himself. He hasn't used them often but while he wanted to block this memory to go to him and not lose him in a rage he needed to take them. 

After taking them he moved back more and then he tries to take a nap while skipping another class. 

Inside of school

While Janet walked down she looked around and while nobody been around she walked to the toilet. 

While she been there she started cleaning her face while don't know what is happening outside. 

"Boss she is safe but I don't know what happened" girls voice come

"Keep her safe and don't let nothing happened to her one mistake you did and I can't let this happen again to my granddaughter" voice come 

"yes, boss," she said while going to hide while nothing could happen to her future boss and person who she needs to protect while using her life. 

Back in Janet

While Janet did cleaning her face she looked at her reflection and she murmured "I thought that I am a strong girl but while hearing what happened to him I can't take" and then she slapped herself on her face a little and then she continue "emotions keep inside and not show yourself" Janet continue and then she looked at her face one more time and while seeing that her eyes almost back to normal she use a little of makeup and then she walked out and she goes to her classroom. 

While she comes there she said "sorry for being late"

"No problem where is Matthew Anderson" teacher said 

"Oh, I don't know," Janet said to her and then she walked to her table. While she was there she sits and then Clara asked "you been crying"

"A little" Janet said to her

"Oh I will kill Matt," Clara said between her teeth's

"it's not his fault but a story which he told me," Janet said to her while taking her books out and looking at which page Clara has it open. While she did this Clara said "so what now"

"I don't know," Janet said and then she focused on classes.

At rooftop 

While Matt been sleeping he could feel that someone started punching him. While he opened his eyes he saw nobody and then he said "who is here"

"It's me," Kevin said while going out from invisibility

"What you want," Matt asked

"General has a mission for you," Kevin said 

"Oh he could call to me," Matt said to him

"You were sleeping and he couldn't contact with you," Kevin said 

"True after it I don't hear anything," Matt said 

"Yep and that's why you shouldn't take them a lot," Kevin said 

"So what is my mission," Matt asked

"Security" Kevin said 

"Oh who important is coming that nobody else can protect him or her" Matt said while looking at Kevin

"Here you have," Kevin said while giving note.  While seeing it Matt looked at him and then he said "are you kidding me"

"No he needs the best protection," Kevin said while looking at Matt's face

"I have school," Matt said 

"Look you will hide in one of the houses where he will be going and Ann will protect the second part," Kevin said 

"That's right," Ann said 

"Oh you been here too," Matt said 

"Of course so we will meet in around hour we need to go to London," Anna said 

"True," Matt said and then he looked at her and he gives a note to Kevin while saying "you know what I'm thinking about him"

"Yes but you can do nothing to him," Kevin said 

"right he was on our side and now is our alliance," Matt said while looking one more time on the name of South Africa Mohamad al Shaie-Wehimid who been ruling it after he connected two countries in one and while there still been a war between nothing and south who should rule and while north go to octopus he goes to the enemy. After he did this only month was a bigger fight but still what he did there been scary and most of the people don't know about it. 

While Matt remembered what happened two years ago while he been there to eliminate one of the terrorist group he been late but what left after them been in his memory and while later he knows that it was his people work while he been the main commander Matt know nothing good might go with working with him but still he needed to go with orders. 

While having one more time in this scene he walked back to classes and while he comes there he comes to learning what been there.

The year 2096

One year ago WWIII ended after only a few days. While everyone were ready for the end of world mysterious agent show up while saving them. 

From this year Everyone around the world knows that legends about Black Agents been real and everyone started looking at them. 

Matthew Anderson is a normal guy who goes to Manchester Military School as one of the few civilians. 

He doesn't have a good life while he been bullied by almost everyone especially one band who exalts themself while only thanks to their leader they can do this. 

As he been suffering from what happened to him at a daily basis he has been only keeping himself to not show who he really is but it hasn't gone for long. 

As it been the one-year anniversary of the end of WWIII and while everyone wanted to celebrate something happened which forced Matt to show who he is and after dealing with it he knows that he been their goal but he could see a message which nobody would understand and he knows he needs to work fast

The next day James and Lillith woke up, and went to get their school uniform, they where asked to come around to the back of distributions building, where they entered through the back door. They where then measured at every possible point, and they began making their school uniforms. After around 20 minutes or so their uniforms where completed. Made from the highest quality silk, and form fitted to the individual, that in itself already made it top of the line, yet it went one step further, and there where exquisite patterns of dragons and cloud woven into the uniform, making it stand out among other uniforms made with the same material. These uniforms where the ones class X wore. Class S had similar uniforms made of the same materials, but not form fitted and without and design. As one went down the rank of classes the lower the quality of uniform. Class F, the worst class had uniforms, what where raggedy, or full of patches, they where often the most uncomfortable material to wear, and they only had one set. Class X on the other hand got 7 sets of uniforms, An a different uniform for each season. Just from the uniforms of the students where enough to show the separation of status within the school. Class X had a classroom that was extravagant as a mansion, and had maids and butlers waiting on the students. Class S had a classroom that was slightly less extravagant as class X, and no one to wait on the students. It continues downward quickly after that, with Class F, whose at the bottom, having no classroom, and having to do all classes outside. Then there where the teachers, The teacher for class X was an extravagant beauty, whose beauty could topple empires, she always teaches to each students understanding, she helps each student one on one, and makes sure each student unleashes their full potential. Teachers of the S Classes, taught to each students understanding, but never one on one, and never helped students unleash their full potential. It keeps falling, Class F who we all know is at the bottom, the teacher might hand out a book for the students to read, and understand, but he doesn't take questions, he doesn't help the students understand anything at all, and most of the time he doesn't even show up at all, or when he does, he usually sleeps the entire time. The final things are the dorms and learning materials,each Class X student get's their own 5 story mansions, that are kept in pocket dimensions, the pocket dimensions, are about 5000mX5000m and the mansions are 1000 meters by 1000 meters, and each story is a 100 meters tall. The mansions are built with tempered wood, so it can't burn, tempered glass, so it can't shatter, and tempered brick, so it can't break It's an absolute paradise. Class S gets the Mansions, that are on school grounds, that don't have the tempering, but have the same dimensions as Class X. Class F on the other hand, have hand built little shacks, that often reek, and break easily. Class X get's the highest quality books(always brand new) mechanical pencils, where the lead never breaks or runs out, and the erasers don't leave smudges or smirks behind, and the eraser never needs replacing. The get chairs and tables made from the highest quality wood. Whenever they need beast cores, or herbs they always get the highest purity, and fist pick. Lastly, as we all could guess, Class F has no chairs or tables, they get to sit on the muddy ground, the don't get pencils or materials, they get absolutely nothing. 

Why would a school do that to one of it's own classes. It's because, there is only two ways to end up in class F, one is to break the rules of the school on multiple occasions, and the second way  is to overstay your welcome. You see Ruby fire School is a 4 year school, which means, if you don't graduate in 4 years, you automatically go to class F, regardless of where you where before. The school has deemed you not worthy of their time, so naturally if your in class F you receive nothing. Class E is just lowest talent, so they receive the bare minimum, to graduate in 4 years. The only way to go up in classes, is either through an administrators recommendation letter, or through the class competition, that happens at the end of every quarter. This was all within the rule book that James and Lillith received upon on getting their stuff from the distribution center. At the distribution center, they also cleaned and groomed the both of them.  After leaving the distribution center, they headed straight to the Class X. 

As James entered class X
"Oh MY GOSH, is that the guy that's joining our class, SO HANDSOME" all the girls screamed and fainted at the same time. 
James went in and took his seat  which was in between Lillith's and Kathirene's after sitting down he heard more chatter
"he's the only guy to ever enter class X, and we have him all to ourselves" some of the girls said while staring at James. 
*THUMP*

"Alright everyone, its the start of a new school year, which means introductions once again"
"As you all Know I'm Miss Janet, your teacher" We have two new recruits to our class, James and Lillith. As their 'seniors, please guide them to your fullest. Alright, everyone introduce yourself to our new recruits" 
"I'm Sakuna" one the girls sitting close to James said
"I'm Janice" Said Another girl
"I'm Kana" Said Another
"I'm Alice" Said the final one
That's correct, the top class know had 7 people, the most it's had since the school founding. 
Naturally as you go down in class rank you get more people per class, with class E being the most filled.
"Alright, now that where all introduced, it's time to begin class. The principle of Mage hood and Knight hood are ....." Janet began explaining
She explained, everything from how mages use elements, to how Warriors get their power, how to rise in rank, how to figure out what technique is best suited to you and everything else.  She explained it quickly, but all the students memorized it just as fast, They only needed one class period to learn everything, and they spent the rest of the time preparing for the class competition. That's how they stayed on top, they where all super genius, yet the scariest thing was, they all had the same paths, sub paths and affinity. Yet only 3 where known, because the others, got in through various connections skipping the assessment all together. No where else could you find 7 super geniuses with photographic memory, and Divine comprehension, all bundled in one room. Your more likely to find a needle in a sea, than you are to find a second group like them.
"Alright, since everyone here that isn't James or Lillith  is in their second year, you guys can go practice your various techniques. James and Lillith come with me" Janet said
James and Lillith followed Miss Janet back to her room. 
"I want you to channel your inner Ki into here" Janet said while handing them an orb
James and Lillith did exactly that. This was an orb to determine ones bodily constitution.
"OHH, MY GOSH, DIVINE NINE YANG, AND DIVINE NINE YIN BODY CONSTITUTIONS" Miss Janet shouted at the top of her lungs. Luckily their where various barriers in place, otherwise the scream would have caused a ruckus.  
"Hurry, use this orb to test your souls." Janet said
James and Lillith did the same as last time channeling their inner Ki into the orb
"OHHHH, Just as I guessed you guys also possess the Secret Divine Souls. And what more, thier the nine yang soul, and nine yin soul." Janet explained
"What do you mean by also?" Lillith asked
"Well I may not know how soul warriors form bodies, but the constitution of the body formed is based on the rank of the soul. Also all your classmates possess the same body and soul constitution as you do, as do I" Janet explained to Lillith
"Oh, that's how you knew. Is there anything else" James Asked
"Take these techniques and practice them, since you can only use techniques issued by the school in the upcoming competition in 3  months" Janet said
James and Lillith took them, and used the name tokens from the school to open their pocket dimension and travel through. The moment they entered, they began practicing to their utmost, and stayed that way for the rest of the day
