The sound of dripping blood never felt so crystal clear than it ever been.
Every drip sent waves of numbing emotions towards me.
[You have lost 80 HP. Due to how weak the host is compared to the opponent, bleeding has stopped. The opponent will also not automatically put in a aggravated state and try to kill you.]
The system says while I'm missing an arm.
The other zombie smiled slyly in front of me.
"Want to play with me?"
Even though his eyes were smiling, his body look ready to tear me to shreds.
I bolted to the exit, grasping on my leaking wound, the shock still numbed the pain.
I have to go!
The exit was within my reach, as long as I go-
All of a sudden, the zombie appeared in front of it in a blur.
Reacting fast enough, I grabbed on the floor for shattered glass, holding the sharp blade and swinging downwards.
The zombie sidestepped causally, aiming his dark fingernails.
Toward my exposed neck, I swiftly dodged.
With the shard, I thrust forward into his abdominal.
He grabbed my wrist tightly, squeezing that my bones creaked.
The shard dropped onto the ground.
With red eyes, I approached with fangs, hissing and screaming.
I bit down violently on his arm.
Tasting the sour taste of blood, I gagged from the revolting taste.
With my knee, I smashed into his exposed stomach.
"Grrrrrr..."
The zombie didn't flinch, his eyes were threatening red, dyed in anger as he stared at me, the corner of his mouth dribbled saliva with some blood.
Grabbing my leg smashed in his stomach, he twirled around and flung my limp body up like I was made of paper.
Wavering in the air delicately, I started falling right back down.
The zombie swung his head backwards and bashed his head into me, grinding my forehead.
Flying backwards, I fell to the ground with a thud.
All I could see was black, but I heard the shuffling of feet, before my surroundings turn into emptiness, my limbs failing helplessly.
I was dangling in midair, a tight knot suffocated me.
Focusing my gaze, before I could recover, my mouth suddenly caved in.
My teeth shattered as a gush of blood flooded out uncontrollably.
Blinded, my hands arcing, nails poised, I grabbed the tight fist plummeting me.
Twisting my neck, my focus filled with a faint silhouette, I spat out the blood in my mouth, spraying it all over the zombie.
I could feel his hand wrangling his way out.
Returning the favor, I rammed my head into his, making sure he could feel it.
He swung backwards, and I pulled him back from his wrist, hammering his head again.
Turning my foot 90 degrees, positioning myself.
With his wrist in my hand, I raised my leg and pierced onto his chest while wrenching his wrist.
I heard what I wanted to hear.
Playing a tug-of-war, the zombie howled in agony.
His flesh grinding against one another as his bones cracked, his limp hand protested as I ripped his arm cleanly off, just like what he did to me.
Raising my leg again, I jabbed into his stomach, his flesh cushioning my blow sweetly.
His body scraped the floor roughly, before sliding weakly, his body twitching.
I slid the arm in my inventory.
I could use it.
With calm steps, I raised my hand, activating "Zombie Slash".
My nails suddenly started to grow, extending to the length of half a foot.
Gleaming, the black nails seemed to be knives.
"Time to end this."

Ringing.
It was sharp and shrill, drilling into my ears and causing my mind to tumble into chaos.
It was even louder than the P.E teacher's whistle.
My vision was blurry, like a sheet of wax paper was covering my eyes.
"Blurgh!"
Painful blows, twisting my flesh, sending torrents of crippling cries landed all over my body.
It was just in a split second, but punches flying down faster than bullets from a machine gun.
There was no form to it.
It was just pure, brute strength.
Pouring with anger and fury.
Rashly, I scratched blindly to the zombie.
All that passed through was air.
For a moment, I heard a shuffles and a grunt.
By the time my attack was over, the punches resumed, pummeling even harder than before.
I claw again and managed to catch something.
With confession, I heaved and tore the thing right off.
I heard it snap right off.
Suddenly, the punches stopped.
With this, I quickly backed off, leaping backwards, balancing my steps carefully.
Squinting my eyes till they were damp, I realized that in my hand was a golden watch.
Looking back up, I see the zombie frozen.
Was it shock or anger?
"My watch-"
Slurring his words, the zombie blinked blankly.
He raised his head, his red eyes didn't even blink.
"Give it back."
I furrow my brows, scanning the area while rubbing my sharp nails.
"Give it back."
And with that, he blurred, the dust underneath him spiraled into a dust cloud.
What the f*ck!
I rotated around, trying to see a passing shadow.
A searing pain made me jolt, like a hot iron scrapping into my hand.
The zombie was suddenly facing a shattered mirror, using the reflection as a guide.
Fiddling with the watch, he muttered profusely, his eyes unfocused and hazy.
"It won't work."
"I can't wear it."
I tore off his other arm, so he isn't able to wear it.
"It is all your fault."

Winding up his head around like a jack-in-the-box, the surprise in the end was a pair of glazed, brainwashed eyes.
Tucking the watch in his shabby pocket, he started to walk towards me sluggishly.
Then he started to increase his speed.
Running.
His legs turned into a whir, all it was a blur.
Abilities.
That was what Chatterbox was trying to say.
2nd Tier zombies have abilities.
And this zombie had the worst one.
Speed.
I ran.
I ran to the center of the mall.
I started to climb the mountain of corpses, the trophy, the accomplishment for the zombie.
Slipping from the blood-soaked zombies, I could feel the sloshing of the strewn brains and the creaking of the bones I mercilessly stomped on through my shoes.
"Agh!"
My foot missed a step, a corpse fell to the ground with a plop, like the sound of meat smacking on the butcher's cutting broad.
"It is your fault!"
Like a vengeful spirit, the zombie started to clamber up the stack, digging his nails to the pinned corpses, using their skulls to rock climb.
Sh*t!
I purposely kicked a corpse down, crashing into the zombie, filling his nostrils with the scent of death.
An inhumane growl made me quicken my pace.
With one hand, I barely made my way up while kicking down corpses.
Making to the top, I have reached high ground.
The pile of bodies almost reached the third floor.
"We don't have to fight!" I shouted peacefully, pulling his arm out of my inventory.
"Let me attach it to you!"
Please have low intelligence levels.
The zombie fixated his gaze on me.
Putting his arm in my mouth, I reached out my only arm out to help him up.
Taking it cautiously, both of use stood at the top.
"I'll give your arm if you don't hurt me."
The zombie hissed.
"You entered my territory, so you deserve it."
I grabbed his arm and shook it.
Bobbing up and down lifelessly, I tempted him with a smile.
"Your watch looks really pretty."
The zombie replied happily, "Of course."
His eyes twinkled.
"So why don't you agree to the agreement?"
The zombie stared at me for a while.
He grunted and nodded his head.
I slowly and carefully gave him his arm.
He grabbed it suspiciously, then crouched down, trying to attach his arm back.
Seeing me not trying to kill him, he snarled as he tried multiple trying to attach it.
After failing a couple attempts, I opened my mouth.
"Why don't you let me?"
I crouched down, with my hand behind my back.
I grabbed the lighter from my inventory.
"Why aren't you helping me?"
The zombie frowned, his eyes narrowed angrily.
I close my eyes.
"Wait, let me think."
Using the lighter, I blindly trying to light the corpse under me.
The zombie started to yowl at me.
"Do you actually know?"
Come on, almost there...
"Wait, I think I got it!"
"What?"
"I manage to invite the grim reaper over."
Returning it back into my inventory, the faint smell of smoke tickled my nose.
Turning my back, I could see the 3rd floor not far away.
"What are you doing!?"
With a howl, the zombie screeched violently.
With one step and another, I jumped.
Leaping through the air, my one hand reaching towards the handrails on the other side.
In slow-mo, the fire sparked, eating through the corpse like a ravished beast.
It curled in the air, the bodies were shriveling up like leaves, their bodies curled up like a shrimp, feeding the fire.
A roar escaped through the zombie's mouth, the fire invading his body.
"BANG!"
My hand grasped the handrail like my life depended on it.
The only think to greet me was the hard, cold floor 3 stories down.
The mountain started to collapse.
The whole stack was aflame, looking like a scene from hell.
The bodies supporting the stack were turned into ashes, the mountain was tipping.
I hauled myself up, the handrail creaked.
The zombie screamed pitifully, the flames were eating his body away.
With desperation and confusion, he jumped from the top of the stack, falling in the air, slamming on to the floor.
The smoke was suffocating, enrapturing its prey in the sickly smell of ashes.
With one last burst, I collapsed on the other side, the safe ground was kissing me.
I got on my trembling feet.
Poking my head, I could barely see the other zombie.
With wary eyes, I activated "Zombie Slash", hoping that the zombie was having already have midnight snack with the grim reaper.
Making my way down, the mountain crashed.
Squelching and crackling, and grand trophy was destroyed, the roaring fire still continued its relentless destruction.
The smoke was tearing up my eyes, making a smoke screen.
I have to f*cking get out of here if I want to get ambushed by the zombie.
Sprinting out, I blindly ran through the smoke, trying my way out.
F*ck.
F*ck.
F*ck.
Wait, is this...
I was greeted by the whipping of the cold winds.
I cracked open my teary eyes, to see the black night with stormy clouds.
I escaped.
I finally escaped!
With a faint smile, I ran through the parking lot freely.
"Clatter-"
Perking my ears up, I quickly hid behind a pile of crashed cars.
With fearful eyes, I peeked over the cars.
Within the pouring smoke, a black figure appeared.
It was the damn zombie.
He hunched over, half of his face was flattened, his body had scars and burn marks, water dripped from his body.
He must've found water in the mall to douse the flames.
But he must be weakened.
I could kill him...
 I could just run for it.
No.
I can't leave him alive.
Leaving enemies alive is asking for your head to be cut off years later.
But how can I kill him?
I'm missing an arm.
I grit my teeth.
I slowly try to inch closer to him, trying to ambush him.
The zombie was in a daze, like he was in a dream.
"My watch-" He croaked meekly.
I crept behind a broken car.
"You lied."
I inched my way to the next car.
"Now my watch is gone."
I swiftly hid behind the cars.
"Lies that escaped you lips."
Just a little more.
"My watch, your lips..." He mumbled hypnotically.
I was a couple feet away.
With "Zombie Slash" ready, I peered at him.
"...Lips....Watch..."
I pounced.
Leaping out, I went for a killing blow.
My arm shot out, my nails sharp.
Aiming for his forehead, my nails pierced into his skin.
Suddenly, the ground split.
What emerged was an earth spear.
In what seemed like a second, the earth spear stabbed through.
It emerged out black, dripping.
Unblinking, all I could see was two red, glowing eyes.
A crooked, yellow smile was striking to his charred, baked skin.
"I knew you want to play."

Suspended in the air by seven feet, I drooped like a wilted flower.
Blood poured out of my shocked mouth, dripping all over the zombie's smiling face.
Sliding down his cheek, his tilted face didn't even flinch.
Fasten on like a kebab, the zombie tip-toed.
With the same, blank smile, he pushed down my body.
I howled in pain as the cone-shaped earth widened my wound, rupturing my organs.
The zombie watched me with the same, blank smile.
The earth spear was oozing with blood.
Flailing around helplessly, I quiet down, everything was turning into a blur.
The zombie reached his wrangled hand out, rubbing my lips.
Without any warning, his nail punctured through a shallow part of skin, ripping it off like he was skinning me.
In his hand was a thin layer of skin.
Tossing it behind, he gave the same, blank smile.
I trembled in pain, but no words could leak out my mouth.
All of a sudden, part of the mall collapsed, the windows shattered and screamed.
The fire was burning down the mall, yet both of us didn't move.
"...Come here..." I called out hoarsely.
The zombie looked at me blankly.
"..Your watch looks like trash..."
"Did...You get it from the dumpster?"
The zombie changed.
With madden eyes, his hand reached out and squeezed my neck.
His veins bulged as he choked my neck, the blood building in my throat made me quiver.
"...No wonder you care about it."
"..That's the only thing that can show your worth-"
I could no longer breath.
His crimson eyes approached me, nose-to-nose.
His hand compressed my neck even harder.
"I'm not poor nor worthless."
"Your words are coming from someone who is about to die."
His breath tickled my nose, assaulting with the smell of rotten flesh.
Finally, your close enough.
With a burst of energy, I shoved something into his mouth.
10 glittery, terracotta gems tumbled into his mouth.
Panicked, he backed away, trying to cough it out.
But slowly, the gems melted in his mouth, sliding down his parched throat.
The familiar taste of red bean buns filled his mouth, but much more sweeter and richer, more intoxicating than any wine.
"Ha...HAHAHA! You fool, thanks for helping me out!" The zombie exclaimed, his sullen face morphed into excitement.
I don't think you realize.
Raising my head up, blood painting my face, I gave a morbid smile, my face flushed with exhilaration, like I had a fever.
Eyes even more red than rubies.
"I think your f*cked!"

It is not much, but it progressed to become stronger. I look at the clock and see that it is already at 9 PM. I force my body to get up and slowly walk to the shower, where I begin to clean all the filth on my body.
 
After taking a shower, I walk to the kitchen, take out the marinated meat in the fridge, and then cook it. After about an hour or so, I finished cooking all the meat and storing it inside my inventory so it will not be spoiled and can be eaten tomorrow.
 
When I'm done cooking all the food, I walk to my bedroom and immediately go to sleep.

Anyway, after I finished eating my breakfast, I got up and activated my skill.

I hear a crack happen, and suddenly the world begins to change. I take out my bow and strap the quiver around my leg.
 
I look at the bow in my hand. I already blessed this bow five more times with fire attributes, and I have a feeling that this bow can take more blessings, but I don't want to risk it for now. Maybe I will try to bless it once more when I finish this dungeon run.

Now I can one shoot a level one zombie and kill a level two zombie, in less than a minute or kill it instantly if I hit a headshot. Anyway, today's objective is to explore the area around the convenience store. Yesterday, I already cleared most of the park and saw that the highest level zombie in that area is a level three zombie.
 
I learned that the closer you are to the tower where the boss is located, the stronger the mob you will encounter, and the convenience store is located a few hundred meters from the tower. I slowly open up the door of my house and shoot the first zombie I see in front of the gate.
 
I know there will be another zombie waiting for me if I open up the gate, so I take up my sword and crossbow. I open up the gate and slide under both zombies' attacks coming from my left and right sides.
 
I stab the zombie to my right and fire my crossbow at the one on the left. I quickly finish the zombie to my right, and when the zombie is dead, I quickly chop off the head of the zombie I shot earlier.
 
When the zombie is gone, I take the bolts lying on the ground and reload my crossbow before placing it inside my inventory once again. I began to walk to a convenient store.
 
On the way to the store, I see a group of five zombies standing on the road to the store. I pull the strength of my bow and aim it at the zombie's head. When I release the arrow, I can see the arrow hit the zombie in the head and instantly kill it.
 
When the other zombie runs toward me, I quickly fire another arrow toward the zombie that is coming toward me. For each arrow I fire, one zombie is dead. A few seconds later, all the zombies are dead and only leave my arrow on the ground.
 
I walk to the arrow on the ground and pick it up before placing it inside my quiver.
 
I continue to walk toward the store and decide to go inside the store where I see ten or so zombies standing inside. When my feet step inside the store, the zombie immediately notices me.
 
I quickly fire an arrow toward the zombie and immediately create a distance between me and the horde before firing another arrow at the zombie.
 
I do Yakety Sax chase run around the store with the zombie while firing an arrow at them. A minute later, all the zombies are dead, and I pick up my arrow that is lying around the store.
 
I walk to the second store and see another group of zombies standing around the office, but this time, they did not immediately come toward me as they were only standing there like a weirdo if not for their status as a zombie.
 
I shot an arrow at the nearest zombie, and when I saw them begin to walk toward me, I began the operation Yakety Sax chase run once again. I run around the office with my bow in hand and fire an arrow at the zombie every time I can.
 
When all that zombie is dead, I walk to the closest room and open up the door. When I see there is only one zombie inside, I quickly kill it with an arrow to the head. I look around the room to see if there is something valuable inside, but I go to the next room when I see there is nothing valuable.
 
I continue to go from room to room, searching for something valuable, but there is no treasure chest or something like that even when I reach the manager room.
 
Seeing there is nothing I can take, I walk away from the store and continue my journey to the west. I slowly walk toward where the tower is located, and I can see stronger and stronger zombies wandering around the area.
 
There is also a level three zombie roaming around the area from time to time.

The status of the zombie is doubled up from the previous level. Now the zombie is faster and stronger. Not only that, but the zombie also becomes more durable than the previous one. I know that this zombie will give me more XP and TP, but I cannot one-shot this zombie even when I hit its head, unlike the previous zombie.
 
However, I need to continue as I want to finish my quest. I want to try leveling up first before trying to attack the mini-boss.
 
You know what? I decide that this place will be my new hunting ground.
 
I walk to the nearby house with a veranda and forcefully open up the door with my sword. I slowly walk inside the house and see five zombies inside the house immediately come after me.
 
Looking at the speed, I know that these are level two zombies. Quickly I shoot one of the zombies in the head with an arrow and immediately slide under them and create a distance between them and me.
 
I shoot another arrow at one of them and see that the zombie catches on fire. When the zombie almost reaches me, I take out my sword and do a quick slash and cut the hand of a said zombie before taking out my crossbow from the inventory and firing its bolts toward the one that comes to me from the left.
 
Seeing three of the zombies dead, I kick the one in front of me and begin to create a distance between the zombie and me before taking out the bow inside my inventory and firing an arrow at one of them.
 
When my arrow hit, I did not stay and watch but quickly shot another arrow to the last zombie and hit it in the head, killing it instantly.
 
With that finished, I pick up all the arrows and bolt on the ground before walking upstairs.
 
I look around the second floor and even check every room, but I don't see any zombies in the house except the first floor. Seeing there is no more threat in this house, I walk toward the veranda and look at the zombie wandering around the street. The zombie that is on the street is a level two and three zombies with few levels one to the side.
 
Seeing the location is perfect, I bought fifty planks from the shop. I also bought some nails, a hammer, and a saw.
 
I then begin to block the entrance to the second floor with planks. After blocking the second-floor entrance, I walk out the veranda, lock the veranda's door, and barricade it with planks. I also barricade the window with planks as well.
 
While the second floor does not have any zombies on it, there is nothing wrong with a little bit of paranoia.
 
Anyway, after I barricade the place, I begin to clean up the mess I made and take out some food for lunch today.
 
This veranda will be my place to sleep and hunt the zombie for these two days.

This is your typical Isekai Novel. A self-indulgent novel. You have been warned.

A zombie stood before me unaware that I existed. I take a step forward to make sure I'm not hallucinating but the zombie begins to start snarling and barking. Terrified I take a step back before I realize something, the zombie for some reason seems to be chained up. The zombie is chained in an X with its legs and arms being chained down and up respectively. I don't know why some would chain up a zombie or even how someone could but this zombie is. 

After staring at the zombie for a bit of time I find something on about the zombie. Something was sticking out of its chest. With the zombie being chained up I gather enough of my courage to go to the zombie and pull out whatever is in its chest. As I get closer the zombie has an awful stench. I haven't ever smelled a rotten corpse but I guess this is what they smell like.  I grab what's in the zombie's chest and pull it out. As I pull it out I can hear a crunching sound like one where a bone breaks and a notification pops up above the zombie's head. It's just a minus sign and a 3. Is that supposed to mean the zombie took 3 damage? This really turned out to be more and more like a game.

But if I did damage I wonder what I'm holding? As soon as I say that a notification pops up in my eyes.

Now, this gets me curious, if I can see information about this dagger, can I see information about the zombie? I decided to look at the zombie and what I saw really does disappoint me. 

{Zombie Level 1}

All I got to see about the zombie is that it's a zombie. That's just amazing. Wait no I should just be happy I at least got to see the damage the dagger could do. Now if this really is a game I'm curious that if I kill the zombie do I get experience points? So I decided to grow a pair and I brought the dagger around my chest and I stabbed the zombie in the chest where I saw a 5 above the zombie's head. Oddly nothing came out of the zombie, no sound, no blood, no guts, no nothing. The zombie is oddly empty. Now I'm curious, does stabbing the zombie in crucial body spots do more damage? Guess the best way to test that is by stabbing the zombie in the head. 

So I do, I bring the dagger up and jab it into the side of the head of the zombie, where I see an 8 above the zombies head. I guess that proves the idea of hitting something somewhere important does do more damage. Now that I think of it, I've done a good amount of damage to the zombie already. I guess the image they portray as the undying isn't for show. 

I decided that I might as well kill the zombie and see what happens. So I decided to bring my dagger up again and stab the head of the zombie a few more times. Till I finally hear a ding and see a notification in my eyes.

Death is the end to all, or so we thought.

I nearly come out of my skin between the Zombie and Carli's blood-curdling scream. I stumble back as the Zombie continues to bash his head against the glass. What scares me, even more, was that the Zombie's head seems completely fine while the glass started showing signs of stress.
I watch in fear as the female Zombie joins the male in bashing their heads against the glass. "Uh... should we leave?" Chip asks with a nervous look. I grit my teeth and watch the zombies. "Okay, we get it! We won't set you on fire..." yet... I say as the Zombies come to a stop.
Carli's mouth drops open in shock as my fear is confirmed. They can clearly understand us and I'm positive they can even read your thoughts. The male Zombie looks at me with solid black eyes as I stare at him.
I fight the urge to shiver... he lifts a hand and places it on the glass between us. I look to his hand and back to him in question. He continues to watch me as he slams his hand against the glass and waits. I frown and step closer.
"Uh... Maya... I don't think you should get too close." Chip says with worry as he steps closer to me. I wave him off and step closer. The Zombie continues to watch me with its eerie black eyes. I look at his large hand on the glass with a frown... I look back up to the zombie.
He watches me and waits... I pick my trembling hand up and nearly press it on the glass but I stop short and look back to the Zombie. He doesn't move... he just waits. "Mayaaa.... this isn't the time to go all Maya on me okay? Think about this carefully..." Chip says with rising panic.
I swallow hard and press my hand on the glass. "We just wish to live human... why must you kill us?" A rough deep voice enters my head nearly bringing me to my knees with shock. I look back to his black eyes and frown "But you wish to kill us... correct?" I ask out loud shocking Chip and Carli.
Chip and Carli look at me and back to the Zombie in shock. "I will let you and your companions survive if you let us go." His deep voice echos around in my head making me shudder. He watches my reaction with a sharp gaze.
"But you will kill others... I can't let you do that." I say gritting my teeth. "Your species will eventually die... by my hand or others. It is inevitable... What can I offer you for my freedom?" He asks making me shocked. This was a virus? This is... 
He tilts his head as he watches me "Knowledge... I can give you knowledge. I am older than you can ever imagine. I was around since the beginning of time. I was there as the first life came to be." He says in a deep commanding voice making me frown.
"You've been around that long and you've only just now managed to evolve?" I ask not convinced. He shakes his head and says "I could not find a suitable vessel... you and the others like you can not be infected by me. You carry an altered version of the virus that protects you but the humans who are still unaltered are ripe for the picking."
I swallow hard at his words... I quickly pull my hand away and turn away from him as my mind races. If I agree to the terms I could gain a lot... then after I release them, I kill them. I try to empty my mind as I turn back to look at the Zombie. 
Chip and Carli watch with confusion and fear. The Zombie watches me with calm black eyes. I bite my lip as my mind continues to race. I look at Chip as I try to control my thoughts. Can I really do this? Is this a bad idea? Probably... the last time something like this happened I nearly died naked in a worm egg sack...
When has that ever stopped me though? I look back to the Zombie with worry. He nods his head and leaves his hand on the glass. He waits... I look back to Chip and he looks at me with fear and confusion. Suddenly he says "I don't know what you're about to do but DON'T. Whatever it is, DON'T." Chip says recognizing the look on my face. 
I give him a weak smile and he looks at me with rising fear. "Maya!" Chip yells moving closer. I spin around and place my hand against the glass. "Deal," I say out loud as the Zombie smiles. "So be it." The zombie says and suddenly my world goes dark.

  This hunt should have gone smoothly and, most importantly, without casualties. But it seems that bad luck has come upon us and destroyed any chance of having a quiet mission because of a zombie who bit a villager who had just tried to protect himself and did not realize that this type of zombie can not be killed in no way and it is not like those from the science fictions novels, mangas or comic books. With a single blow of the werewolf's hand, I managed to cut off the head of that monster, which is not dead and will walk around you without a head forever. To complicate matters further, I had to take that villager to Alexandra to give her a potion to heal her zombie bite wounds. I hope there is one like this, otherwise, the dimension of the zombies will have a new inhabitant.
  I come out of the forest carrying that wounded man in my arms like a small child, he was very scared, sweaty, and extremely tired because the bite of the zombies begins to have its effect in turning him into one of them. I go as fast as I can, but it's not easy to say given that this man is quite big and heavier than I think. A few times the guy was about to fall from my arms, on rocks, logs, or even in the lake, but thanks to daily training, I managed to hold this man in my arms until I reached Alexandra, who when she saw me carrying a wounded man in her arms, she immediately jumped out of the tree and landed on the ground and came to me as fast as she could with her backpack.
  "What happened?" asks Alexandra stopping in front of me, while I lay this poor man who will become a zombie any second, and I looked at her.
  "The zombie bites him and he could become one of them any second now. I need a potion or something like that if there is one in the backpack." I say to Alexandra, which immediately searches in the backpack a potion for destroying the zombie bite virus.
  Alexandra finds in her sports backpack a small bottle containing serum to stop the spread of the zombie bite virus. This puts some of the potions on the wound, which makes the poor man scream in pain most likely due to the fact that the potion burns if applied to an open wound. Alexandra and I look at the wound and watch her slowly begin to close. I also take a look at the man who had been bitten by the zombies and notice him keeping his eyes closed and showing no signs of speaking. I put my hand on his forearm and I notice that his pulse is quite strong, so it means that he is still alive.
  "He will be fine," says Alexandra leaving him and taking her baggage to her back. "Where did you say it is the zombie?"
  "... At almost one hundred meters from here," I say to Alexandra.
  Alexandra didn't say a word, because I went to that location as fast as she could. He didn't give me any orders, but it would most likely the order will be to take care of this man who we just saved his life. I looked at that man and saw him sleeping, which made me relieved because we will not have to deal with another zombie who is unkillable. While I wait for Alexandra, I decided to take this man into my arms and carrying him into the car. I put him into the back of the car, where he will peacefully sleep and not be disturbed by a bug, a monster, or a zombie. After inserting the sleeping man in the back of the van, I heard a gunshot, to be specific, a shotgun.
  I run in the direction of the sound of that shotgun to see what Alexandra had done, but while I was running I heard a specific sound of the shotgun when it was fired, which made me think seriously. I increase my running speed and in less than fifteen minutes I reach Alexandra who has about twenty zombies in front of her if I'm not mistaken who come towards her slowly. 
  "What happened?" I ask Alexandra which is looking quite unsure at me.
  "Are you sure there was just one zombie here? Because there are so many, that they could start a zombie apocalypse." says Alexandra shooting another barrel or bullet of the shotgun in just two zombies who got immediately teleported to their undead world without making any trace on the planet Earth.
  "Yes. I am sure!" I say to Alexandra while I begin to transform both arms into werewolves.
  "No. Do not attack them. Not yet."
  "Why?"
  "I got a better idea."
  When Alexandra said she had a better idea, I didn't think she would decide to fire the last bullets at those zombies and then run away and let me fight those zombies until she returns with bullets for her zombie shotgun to teleport back to their world full of undead creatures who looks like zombies. I use my werewolf powers and start attacking those zombies. Even if they can't die, I can knock down their limbs like their hands or feet, or even their head on their shoulders. The last bullets that Alexandra used sent nine zombies back into their world, so we'll fight only nine if we consider those zombies she sent when I came to the battlefield. I cut off the head of the first zombie with the help of my left claw, then I throw the five nails with my right hand towards the next two zombies, at which they feel nothing and continue to come slowly towards me. The third zombie came very close to me, so I used the werewolf claw that still had those nails and cut off his left arm and open chest. The fourth and fifth were coming at me, so I quickly turned both feet into werewolves to kick them. They hit the fifth zombie in the stomach, and it is sent four meters and falls to the ground, then kick the next zombie in the head, which makes them fly next to the other zombies, who have werewolf nails in their chests. their death, who come to me, but they stop when they see the head at their feet and decide to eat the head of their dead comrade.
  This thing gave me an idea. 
  I go to the zombie I cut off his left arm, and throw it at the other three who were approaching me. These three zombies see that arm flying until it lands in a pit of leaves. These zombies forget about me and head to that pit to eat that arm of a fallen colleague. Other zombies were approaching me so I decided to attack them using my werewolf hands and werewolf feet. I broke both legs of a zombie when I shot him in both legs. I broke a zombie in two with a single right arm. I cut off the head of a zombie and threw it at the other, who immediately began to eat it. And at last, I used a strong kick and sent him about three meters hitting a tree.
  When Alexandra returned with the loaded weapon, she was impressed by what I was doing there. He noticed those zombies eating their own species, and Alexandra tells me.
  "I forgot they can even eat their own species... Now let's send those bitches back to their world."
  Alexandra aimed the shotgun at the rest undead who are alive and shot them without mercy. She sends those dead meat bags back to their world, where they will live safely and without any problem. I and Alexandra leave the place and we are going back to the van which will help us to go back to our home. But the first thing we have to do right before we left this place, we have to let this poor man somewhere,  so we let him in the back of a bar and we put on his hands a beer with 12 percent alcohol and another three empty bottle around him to make him think he was drunk and to make him thinks the thing he saw earlier wasn't real in the first place. And then we go to our home. Alexandra goes to the abandoned stores which are our base to fill the reports and I am going to my home because it is already seventeen o'clock and at that hour my dear mom is preparing dinner for my family.
  What a day I had today. First an attack of three slime monsters at my school and then an attack of the zombies in the forest. This day felt like being one of the days I have a summer vacation instead of a normal one during school ... I just hope the next ones aren't so hard because I am a teen and I have lived this teenager's life as long as I can.

A young girl named Lydia, who is now in high school, 9th grade, was attacked last year by a werewolf and almost made her werewolf, but one guy, helps her to become a human-werewolf which means she can become a woman in the day, and the werewolf in the night to help her village and the city to avoid dangers.

This story it is on Hiatus due to the numbers of works who have increased recently.

My hands were trembling and my body was shaking. When I read the description, I knew that maybe...just maybe, the zombie that I killed was actually a human. If it was a human, then the strange signs from before, like pushing the stone using its hand and not rushing to attack when it saw me can be explained. It was just so impossible that I didn't even thought about it when I saw the collapsed building. I mean, just how lucky was this guy that he survived the crumbling of the building and still able to stand up!!! Though...he was also unlucky in the sense that I killed him just when he survived though that.

Even when I realized that I killed a human, I feel strangely calm, not like when I vomited when I killed a zombie for the first time. Maybe it was because I have already resolved myself, or that I have the leeway to think that it was all just an accident and it was not my fault that I killed him for looking like a zombie...or maybe it was because the reality of the situation still doesn't sink in?

Even though this is a sign that I am growing stronger, I can't help but feel anxious for the future: Will I have to kill another human? or will I do something even more horrifying than that? 

I shake these questions out of my head. I already have a hard time surviving in the present, so how can I have the luxury to afford worrying about my future?

Looking at the corpse of the human I killed, I contemplated whether I should search his for a cellphone or not. His body is very bloody and if I searched him, my hands will get bloody and I will also surely smell like blood. I remember something somewhere in one of the movies I watched that zombies are attracted to the smell of blood. The blood from my wounds have already become dry when I leveled up and is starting to fall off, if I get bloodied again, I can't say what would happen when I get down this mountain of rubble. After a long time, I finally decided not to risk myself and began to climb out of the hole.

Climbing out of the hole was easier than expected. Maybe it was because my wounds had healed?   or was it that +1 in my strength? Leveling up really is good. I also finally learned the true meaning of what the devil said when he says that human will be the ones that kill themselves. Killing a zombie that is supposedly a level 1 granted me a +10 in my EXP. While killing this defenseless level 1 guy was enough for me to level up. When people learn this, some will surely try to commit murder to get stronger; especially in this now chaotic world where monsters and danger are always abound.

I began my journey down while looking for zombies that may also be stuck in the rocks but unfortunately, I didn't find one. I reached the bottom of the debris faster than when I had to go up. Looking around, there were already many groups of zombies wearing the uniform of our school. Most zombies are close to each other so I may get trapped if I killed one. I tried searching for a lone zombie that was near the rubble. Even after looking and waiting for 10 minutes, the zombies didn't move from their general position. The best ones I found were a pair of zombies.

They must have been a couple before they died. I can see bits of pieces of rock in parts of their body. The male zombie has his chest flattened by a falling rock or something while the neck of the zombie girl was tilted unnaturally. Yep, they're definitely a zombie.

I clenched my teeth and gripped the handle of my sword tighter. Walking towards them as silent as possible, I circled towards their back and raised my rusty sword overhead towards the male zombie--

BANG!!!

The sword cleaved halfway through the head of the zombie, sending blood and white matters through the air and instantly killing the zombie. Just as I was rejoicing about my successful ambush, I felt a bone piercing pain coming through my head and hands. It was like that part of my body was melting. I instinctively let out a bone piercing scream that attracted the attention of all the zombies. I saw the zombie girl coming closer to me with outstretched hands. My sword was already stucked on the head of the male zombie and I nearly lost all my strength from the pain coursing through my body so I unwillingly let it go and it fell together with the body of the male zombie. 

The zombie girl was already only about a meter away from the pitiful me. Although I want to run away, my body won't listen to me. All I can do was to let out a hoarse scream and shrink my body into a ball, hoping that the pain will subside. When the zombie girl swiped her hands towards my face, I used all of my remaining willpower to tilt my body backwards and roll 2 meters away from the zombie. Because of that, my body was also riddled with many stones from the debris, but the pain from earlier was so intense that I hardly felt them. 

The zombie girl started walking towards my position again and I can't do anything about it now. My body is lying on the ground, hugging my knees like a shriveled shrimp. My shout has turned into a whimper and my tears overflowed, mixing with my mucus. I can only see the slow steps of the zombie girl, like the hands of death, slowly reaching out towards me. Just when all hope was almost lost, I felt the pain from my body subsiding. At the same time, the zombie girl lurched towards me. I instinctively kicked out while crawling backwards. My foot connected to the half connected head of the zombie girl and her head was completely disconnected. Her body fell backwards, with massive spurts of blood accompanying it...

In the year 2023, God came down from heaven.

Various phenomena accompanied his descent; Light shone down from above the skies and a pleasant melody rung throughout the whole world.

At the same time with his descent, the ground opened up and magma erupted from different parts of the world. Earthquakes with unimaginable magnitude were experienced all around the globe. Buildings were smashed and chaos was everywhere. 

"Hahahahaha, what did I tell you, Father. I have already said that humans are ugly creatures that will always betray your love to them. I have won our bet, from now on, I will be the ruler of this  world, hahahahaha!!!"

"Sigh...I have nothing to say, Satan. I just hope that you will not let the humans suffer very much. Atleast, do not kill all of them. You can treat this as me asking you for a favor."

"Haha, you do not have to worry, for I will not kill them."

"...that is good."

And with that, the light that was shining from above disappeared and the world was enveloped in darkness. A dark, sinister voice was then heard all throughout the world.

"Ugly humans, I will give all of you a chance to survive hehehe. I have given all of you a chance to gain power, the same as in the games that all of you play. There will be monsters of unimaginable strength that will kill you. The only way you can survive is to get stronger by killing the monsters...or your fellow human. It is up to you in how long you can survive, hahahahaha!!!"

And with a sinister laughter that reverberated all around the globe, the voice of the devil disappeared and the game for survival commenced.

An Illusionary Blade surged from my finger and pierced through the zombie's head before it could make a single sound. It toppled over, blood spurting from its head. The other zombies turned to stare blankly at their fallen comrade for a moment, then they dumbly returned to doing whatever it was they were doing.
Like shambling around aimlessly, for example.
"That was close!" Huang Ning Yue whispered. I nodded and gestured for her to continue. We managed to make it to the scattered zombies without any further incident, and then we were among them before they even knew what was happening.
My bamboo swords lashed out, along with Huang Ning Yue's baseball bat. Five zombies fell before they even knew what hit them. The last two turned to stare at us and snarl, but Xiao Gou landed on them, crushing the poor undead under his bulk. For good measure, he raked his claws against their heads, pulping their skulls.
"Too easy," he said. I glanced at him wryly.
"If you want a challenge, you're welcome to take out the zombies crowding the main junction."
"Uh…that will be too difficult." Xiao Gou held up a paw. "Don't get me wrong. I wasn't complaining! I was happy that we haven't encountered any problems so far!"
Yeah. So far. I nodded, and then proceeded across the alleyway cautiously. Fortunately, there weren't many other zombies in the way, and those stray ones we encountered, we took them down fairly easily. Navigating through the dark, labyrinthine corridors and alleyways, we passed through the backs of restaurants, cafes and eateries. Dustbins and garbage cans had been shoved over, probably when the living sought to flee the zombies and were desperately throwing whatever obstacles they could find at the pursuing undead. Abandoned black garbage bags, probably never to be collected again, along with flies and bugs.
Huang Ning Yue grimaced and did her best not to look at them, as did I. there was a foul stench in the air, the putrid combination of waste and decay. Not only were corpses rotting in here, so were a myriad of other…things packed for disposal.
Neither of us complained. The alternative would be to plow through hundreds of zombies and lose our lives in the reckless process. So we put up with the stench and discomfort for now.
"This way."
Huang Ning Yue tugged my arm and pointed. I nodded and followed her into a thinning alleyway, which was leading to the open. Even though we avoided the main roads and open spaces, which were mainly infested with zombies, the alleyways didn't extend everywhere. There would be places where they ended, and we would need to find alternative routes across.
Fortunately, the junction we came across wasn't occupied by that many zombies. There were twenty or so, shambling about in the main road and looking for food. Zombies didn't feed on each other, for some reason. They were driven to target only the living. It was probably that demonic yin qi that possessed them, malicious intent from some forbidden ritual that harbored hunger for the yang qi found in living bodies.
"We won't be able to finish them all in one minute, before they call for reinforcements," I commented.
"We won't have to," Xiao Gou replied. "We just need to kill the ones here, and then move onward into one of those buildings. During the day, zombies' senses aren't very sharp. They wouldn't know where you have went if they didn't see you. Also…they can't see very far."
That made sense. With those white cataracts covering their eyes, I was surprised that they could see at all. I heard that their hearing was sharper than their sight, and in my experience fighting them, that proved to be the case.
"All right, we'll just wipe them out and move into that building opposite. From there, we'll find an alternative exit and move out from there, then continue toward Ning Yue's home."
"Sorry for the trouble." Huang Ning Yue looked apologetic. I shook my head.
"Don't worry about it. Either way, Xiao Gou and I will have to move cautiously anyway. It wouldn't have made any difference. Your apartment is along the way so it honestly isn't any trouble at all."
Xiao Gou snorted, but didn't say anything. I shot him a glare, and then prepared to move out. While I did so, Huang Ning Yue glanced upward.
"Do you think there will be a meteorite?"
"A…what now?" I asked incredulously. Huang Ning Yue waved a hand casually.
"You know, a meteorite. Or a rocket, or a spaceship. An alien rocket, maybe."
"The hell are you talking about now?" I gaped at her in disbelief. Huang Ning Yue looked at me with her clear blue eyes.
"And when we approached the crashed rocket, two swords will appear. A red sword and a blue sword. We would approach it, grab them, and then the swords will transform into snakes and enter our bodies! Then we'll wake up with marks on our hands, gain incredible strength and speed! We'll gain superpowers that will help us fight against these zombies!"
"The hell is this girl talking about?" Xiao Gou barked. "Alien spaceships? Swords? Superpowers? Has she gone mad?"
"I think you've been reading way too many zombie apocalypse stories or manhua." I sighed and shook my head. "What, cultivation, qi and immortal techniques aren't enough for you? Now you want to obtain superpowers from some random alien spaceship that crash into the earth and give us swords that transform into snakes? Are you kidding?"
"Eheheheh." Huang Ning Yue stuck her tongue out and rubbed a fist against her head. "Sorry. I have a wild imagination. You're right, I have been reading too much Zombie City."
"Are all human girls like this?" Xiao Gou asked me, annoyed. "Always indulging in their delusional fantasies or imaginations?"
"At least she's better than Mu Ru Xue. That so-called goddess seems to be a big fan of CEO stories featuring toxic, abusive relationships…"
Rolling my eyes, I decided not to waste any more time. Stepping out of the alleyway, I swung my bamboo swords. Huang Ning Yue and Xiao Gou joined me, and we practically pounced on the horde of zombies. The shambling corpses were slow to respond, looking up dumbly before my swords cleaved through their heads.
Then the rest lunged at us, groaning and moaning. Twenty of them, while a big number, was not a problem for my current abilities. Not to mention, Huang Ning Yue had also learned cultivation techniques for me, and with Xiao Gou's assistance, we finished them off in short order.
Kicking a female zombie with long hair and in a yellow blouse, I stomped on her before stabbing her head with one of my bamboo swords. I then turned around and caught sight of Huang Ning Yue pulverizing the head of a male zombie with her qi-infused bat.
"You all right?"
"Yeah," she responded with a smile.
"Looks like we've cleared the junction and dealt with all the zombies here." I flicked the blood off my bamboo swords. Huang Ning Yue nodded.
"Doesn't seem like there are any left."
"For now," Xiao Gou remarked darkly, crushing a zombie with his paw. "There will be reinforcements here soon."
"Yeah." Huang Ning Yue sighed. She turned to bow her head at me. "Thank you, Ling Jian. If you hadn't taught me those cultivation techniques, I would never have been able to fight so effectively. I might have died in the first few days, even."
"Nah. You've worked extremely hard. Cultivation techniques are useless if the person wielding them doesn't use them properly."
I shook my head and smiled. Cultivation helped to enhance one's physical strength and speed, as well as bestow better reflexes and insight, which certainly went a long way to help previously normal people like Huang Ning Yue deal with ordinary zombies. However, the efforts she put into learning these techniques over the last three days couldn't be discounted. She had earned her current strength through diligence and sheer grit.
"Should we continue moving, as per the plan?" Huang Ning Yue asked, glancing at the building we had designated as our cover. However, before we could move, a loud noise thundered through the junction.
"!!!!"
The three of us turned around and caught sight of a massive zombie shuffling from between two small shop houses, kicking over a car as it staggered past. The damned thing was huge, a mountain of decaying flesh that towered over two stories. When it caught sight of us, it howled in fury.
"What is that?!" Huang Ning Yue cried, her voice filled with fear. "Could it be…the zombies have mutated?"
The massive zombie in front of us certainly looked as if it had mutated. Over five meters in height, bony protrusions grew out of its thick arms, which were so swollen with muscle that they resembled pillars rather than appendages. Its fingers ended in claws. I could see several heads grotesquely fused into its torso – I wouldn't be surprised if the mutant zombie was a conglomeration of several zombies gathering together and fusing into one. Or perhaps this was a zombie that had feasted on other zombies and melded with them to increase its own mass. Whatever the case, it was an abomination.
I could almost taste the dense demonic yin qi that suffused its bulk.
"Mutant zombie," Xiao Gou murmured, confirming my suspicions. "It gorged on other zombies and grew stronger from cannibalism. Its power is at least five times that of a normal zombie. Be careful."
I raised my bamboo swords, only to be taken aback when the massive zombie leaped at me, its incredible speed belied by its immense bulk. I blocked its first attack, its claws scything down and shattering one of my qi-infused bamboo swords.
"You've got to be kidding me" I cursed.
"Ling Jian, be careful!" Huang Ning Yue shouted.
Bellowing, the massive zombie smashed down with both of its arms, but I nimbly evaded. Despite its power, bulk and speed, it was clumsy in terms of attacking. It whirled around, striking at me before I could counter, forcing me to jump back.
"How strong!" Perspiration dripped down my face as I evaded as best as I could. I glanced at its head, where I could sense the greatest amount of yin qi gathering. As with other zombies, it appeared that its weakness was the head.
The problem was that I had no way of striking at its head, not when it was rampaging viciously.
"I'm coming to help you!" Huang Ning Yue shouted as she lunged forward.
"Ning Yue! Be careful!"
"Don't worry about me!" Huang Ning Yue assured me as she easily evaded the zombie's punch, using her superior dexterity. "Concentrate on taking down this big guy!"
While she was distracted, I infused qi into my remaining bamboo sword before lunging forward.
Seven Stars Celestial Strike!
The zombie spun about, one arm swatting at Huang Ning Yue while the other arm caught my blow. My bamboo sword splintered, but I managed to cut deeply. The zombie roared as blood spurted from its wounded arm and it staggered back.
However, it stood its ground and kicked at me. Spinning in midair, I dodged the blow that would have smashed my body and broke almost every bone I had if it had connected. Then I hopped right in front of it and unleashed Seven Stars Chained Strike.
Seven red lines arced across the zombie's body, blood erupting in forceful geysers. The massive zombie staggered, clearly weakened, and desperately flailed about as it tried to swat me away, but its movements had visibly gotten a lot slower.
Seven Stars Singularity Strike.
Thrusting my bamboo sword upward, I pierced its head. The bamboo sword broke from the colossal impact, but the glowing qi around it obliterated the massive zombie's head.
For a moment, the mutant zombie teetered unsteadily, and for a horrifying moment, I thought that it had survived despite the lethal damage that I had dealt to its head.
Then Xiao Gou pounced on the massive zombie from behind. Clamping his jaws around its beefy neck, he tore the remains of the zombie's head off in a single motion.

I pinched my nose in disgust. Someone in Finn's crew smelled like a zombie. I didn't know how I did not notice it before.

Ignoring Finn, I motioned my fingers at Marvin. He walked over and tilted his head so I could whisper into his ear.

"Tell Finn that I don't want his crew near me," I whispered. "He can come and talk to me but not anyone from his crew." 

Marvin nodded his head and then scanned the crowd. Walking up to Finn, he whispered the same thing. Finn turned his head and meet my eyes. Confusion filled his face. 

We stared down each other until he whispered something back to Marvin.

"He says he agrees with your request," Marvin spoke. I could see Finn tell the crowd something, most likely what I had just told him.

"Tell them not to get close to Finn's crew," I said.

"Them?" Marvin reposted. I pointed to the four people at my back. 

"Oh ok." Marvin left to tell them. Silence came and only the hushed whispers could be heard. I could feel several glances come my way but I ignored them.

"Let's move out!" Finn shouted. Nodding his head at me, he turned and started walking. We had started our journey.

One week had passed and no zombies had appeared, even the bitten human hadn't turned yet. During this Qihn had gotten close with Derek, Marvin, Peyton, and Destiny.

"Is it not weird Miss Onyx? Derek whispered. He had adopted Marvin's way of speaking. "There are no zombies near here."

"I think it there might be a high leveled zombie near here," Qihn whispered. "Shouldn't we tell Mr. Finn?"

"Qihn how would you know?" Derek "You never know, maybe the zombies had left the area. And even if there was, we aren't telling Finn, he isn't our boss. I don't even know why you are so kind, even after the way they treated us..." I sharpened my eyes as I waited for the next part but Marvin stopped him.

"Derek, I do not think Miss Onyx should hear about that," Marvin whispered, nudging Derek in the shoulder. Derek glanced at me before turning away. "Sorry about that, Miss Onyx."

[Humans found…Scanning further…A horde of zombies ahead, warning, a horde of zombies ahead.]

"Marvin, go tell Finn that we are going to the store for a while." Marvin looked at me in confused but still nodded. Running to Finn, the crowd let him pass through. 

"He says it's ok,"

"Then let's go," I started to walk to the store that the system guided me too. When we entered the store, I turned around. "Stay here," I ordered. Marvin, Derek, and Qihn nodded while Peyton just shrugged.

"Why?" Destiny asked, however, I ignored her I exited the store. "Answer me!" Destiny screamed trying to take a step towards me but failed. She couldn't move from outside the store.

"So my commands work on them after they eat the gems," I concluded. Waking back to the street, I saw Rassa run to me. 

"Help!" She screamed. Grabbing my hand, she pulled me to the previous empty street, which was now a battlefield.

Zombies were clawing at the humans, while the humans swang bats or other blunt weapons at their heads. At the rear were Finn and the people who were sitting with him. They had guns in their hands and were shooting at the zombies, that came near them.

"Finn, I brought her," Rassa screamed. Finn seeing me run over. "There is a high leveled zombie there. It is controlling the crowd. We need you to kill it, or we'll die." Finn huffed. "We can control the crowd for now but soon we won't be able to." I could feel my blood boil. Nodding my head, I smelled the area for the zombie; it had been long since I had had a real fight.

Smiling my toothy grin came back out. I had found it. 

The zombie stood on top on a medium-sized building with multiple buildings to the sides, watching the fight. Putting power into my right foot, I propelled myself forward. Putting one hand out I got ready to grab the oblivious zombie's neck. However right before I reached the zombie, it turned around, its eyes meet mine and it smiled. It was the smile of another predator.

Grabbing my outstretched arms, it swang my body to the wall of the other building and pounced onto me. Swiftly rolling to one side, I kicked my left leg sideways to meet the zombie's chest. It slid back before getting back up, now clutching its chest. I got up carefully, still holding my gaze with the zombie. 

A single look away could cost me my life.

It went left, I went right and we made a circle. Removing its hands from its chest, claws popped out from its knuckles. It grinned before pouncing towards me again. This time I was prepared. 

Dodging its claws, I went to extract its arms. Grabbing the arm nearest to me, while it was still in the air, I put power into my hand and pulled it off its body. Blue blood came pouring after.

"Uhh," It groaned. Its excited eyes meet mine, but now also it contained caution. It jumped away before I could grab it again. We stared at each other, watching for any sudden movements. Suddenly, sharp blades came towards me. I tried to dodge the object but couldn't. The blades cut my cheek, legs, and neck. Now we were both bleedings. We stared at each other again.

"I need a distraction," I thought. Analyzing the situation, I grabbed my shoulder bag and flung it at the zombie. The zombie dodged it. Cockiness was within eyes. It must have thought my bag was some kind of dangerous equipment like its blades. The moment it dodged the bag, I pounced on it. Grabbing its exposed neck, I slammed it to ground. Placing my feet on its shoulder, I tried pulling off its head, however, its leftover claws kept me from doing so. Swiftly jumping away, its back to a wall, I watched it get back up. We stared at each other again, now only fear filled its eyes. It was going to run away.

"One," A countdown appeared in my head. "Two," This might be my only chance to kill it. Putting all my power into my arms and feet, I got ready. "Three." I attacked.

It jumped upwards, trying to grab the other roof, so I grabbed its legs and pulled it down. Its back slammed into the floor. Hands still holding the legs, I lifted my foot and put my energy into it before kicking the head.

"Pop." The head flew, slamming into the wall before sliding down. The head had created a crater.

I had taken in a deep breath before I went to grab my bag which laid on the floor.

I walked over to the bodiless head and picked it up. Searching the head for a gem. 
"Ah," I muttered. Pulling my blue covered hand out, I smiled. A sparkling red gem lay in my palms. Unzipping my bag, I placed the gem into it before jumping off the building. 

Walking back to the street, I raised my brow Finn's crew was still fighting, but they were a lot small than when I had left them. Grabbing a bat that laid on the floor I charged in swinging. The battle was finished in seconds after I had entered. Bending down, I quickly grabbed the blue energy gems.

Finn ran over panting. "Thank you," He bent down and took a breath. "You must be surprised at why our numbers got so small. Someone was bitten but the person didn't tell, the guy started fighting his own teammates and biting them. Got everyone frightened." Finn frowned before turning around and shouting. "Remove the heads from bodies of the dead ones, recently died or died before. We don't what them becoming a zombie again."

I looked at Finn's crew, the people I knew were still alive. Tapping Finn's shoulder, I pointed to the shop. Finn nodded to as a response. Walking to the shop, I couldn't wait to smell Qihn's scent. I need something to cool my blood, and Qihn might just do it.

I was fifteen yards away when I smelt it. Blood of a human and blood of zombies. The smell overflowed. I could smell anything but that. Putting power into my feet, I ran.

I was trapped, confined, imprisoned, enclosed in a cage.
  But nothing compares to what is happening outside of my enclosure. 

   The government in chaos. The world in despair.
   Where darkness hides wherever.
 
  But in this despair, I will create a haven.
A haven for those caught by the darkness.
And I will rule it in my own way.
