A Collection of different Harry Potter Fanfics I started to write those most well liked may be continued.

Harry potter thinks he is an ordinary boy-until he is rescued by a bettle- eyed giant of a man, enrolls at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and wizardry, learns to  play Quidditch and does battle in a deadly duel.  The reason Harry Potter is a Wizard.

In the World of Harry Potter as a Metamorphmagus and my own House inputted into the Harry Potter world. Unique magic to my House not originally in Harry Potter, And some powers from other places.

I remember the time when I first was introduced to the Harry Potter series. I had just entered the fourth grade when the first book came out, and by the time I finished high school the seventh book had just been released. I was hooked from the first chapter, and I regret to say I became a bit of a fan-girl. I had even wrote a few fan-fiction, okay I was a popular fan-fiction writer. But anyway one of my dreams was to go to the Harry Potter world. One day I was on the way to the bank to get some money to buy some new Harry Potter merchandise to add to my collection, when I saw a car driving away from the nearby bank and was pursued by police cars. I saw a young couple crossing the street unaware of the danger when the car came speeding towards them. I yelled look out but they were frozen with fear. I decided to try and save them by pushing them out of the way of the car, but then I was in direct line of the car with no time to escape. I braced my self and waited for the impact to come and when it did I went flying and my world turned black. My last sight was the young couple looking toward me in horror. At least they were safe.

The MC dies and reincarnates into the Harry Potter Universe as Harry's twin sister. Both are powerful but have to learn to control their powers. Also is an alternative story line.

(AN: basic understanding of things in the HP universe are necessary to understand the story fully.)

Made a bonus chap to congratulate everyone and wish everyone a Merry Christmas. Already sent the chap to editor and in case editor will be unable to edit it today, I will upload unedited version later today(in 7-8 hours). Anyway, once more congrats with Christmas. Also got a review and it was an honest review, so no problems there. But there was one point I have to clarify for all readers. The person said this :
"...  This isn't a Harry Potter fanfic because it definitely wasn't written by a fan. Just a guy who wants Potter fandom when really it's to push his ideas of 'order' and multiverses which he himself said he'd written about years ago... when I saw that I realized this isn't the novel I was looking for."

I didn't do it for Potter fandom. And yes I am not a fan and I don't like Potterian and overall the Universe, because this Universe has no rules whatsoever, and gives zero explanation to anything. It's clearly visible from the fact that majority of people still think that Harry didn't die because he had all three artifacts of death or whatnot.

This however doesn't mean that Universe or books are shit, it just means that I don't really like this type of read. Either don't explain a thing like it was done in works of Rick Riordan(not even gods know how the heck mist works... srsly...? ;) ) or go for in-depth explanation like in Patrick Rothfuss's works(although even he is confusing sometimes, but hey... a lot of things in terms of magic were explained very well... for me at least :D ). But as I said, that's just my preference. 
This novel was made for contest and the contest was about Harry Potter fanfic, so the fact that I am writing in this Universe is due to a collection of circumstances))) 
Of course, some people will be unconvinced and ask why I started specifically in this contest if I wasn't a fan ahahaha, but who cares?  
This book is the first actual serious writing work for me and it will remain so. Therefore, I will continue writing it and finish it, as long as there is at least one reader appreciating this work.

Afterwards, I was reborn in the different world with the system from my favorite game! However, there was a catch - I had negligible amount of knowledge about this universe.

"Oh cmon... System, do you really need do this every time? Now... what will I do?"

The closer the Triwizard Tournament first task came, the more people had buzzed about the events leading up to the first task. And exactly what the first task was. Given how strong the Hogwarts rumormill tended to be, it had been a minor miracle how the news of the task did not get out rather soon.
The investigation on who tampered with the Goblet of Fire had not been going rather smoothly. From what Wade could figure out, chaos reigned at the Ministry of Magic. There was a scandal about how the Goblet could be tampered with and not one, but two underaged competitors. All sorts of finger pointing, blame, and conspiracy theories had been around.
Albus Dumbledore sighed when analyzing the magical object for about the eighth time, under the watchful guise of the Hogwarts staff. "We should have guards watching the Goblet at all times."
Snape, Moody, and McGonagall all shot Dumbledore one of those "I told you so" looks. If the Headmaster had been bothered by getting such a look, he did not really react to it.
"No used in crying over spilled pumpkin juice right now," Dumbledore said. "The first task, being dragons, is going to be a rough one."
"It just is fortunate there was a clerical error which caused a fourth dragon to be ordered," Snape said.
Dumbledore scratched his beard and sighed long and hard. "Yes, fortunate."
"Best I figure," Moody growled. "Is someone wanted Potter done in. Now could be the Black girl. It could be Karkaroff, putting on a show. It could be anyone. Anyone's a suspect."
"Even you?" Deadpool asked.
"I wouldn't rule it out!" Moody barked. "Even the most constant vigilance could have caused someone to get the drop on me, to enhance and bewitch me, and to allow me to put Harry Potter's name in the Goblet of Fire. While I do not recall such a thing happening….I would not rule it out."
Here Moody's eye twitched several times across the room.
The fact of the matter is, no one really knew about it. Deadpool writhed his hands.
'So, no one left any fingerprints. Then again, with magic you could poof them away. But, with magic, you could also reverse the poofing. Oh, I'm sure CSI: Diagon Alley would be the most confusing show ever.'
Dumbledore flipped over a chalkboard, with several theories written upon it.
"We shouldn't disprove all avenues," Dumbledore said. "Including the conspiracy theory that I am somehow setting up Harry Potter for a fall, so I can steal his gold. While I don't recall such a plan being enacted, old age can make a fool out of many of us."
Everyone in the room declined to comment. They knew better.
"The biggest problem is Rita Skeeter buzzing around," Dumbledore said. "She will twist everything. And she has a knack of figuring things out, even though she should not know the information."
"It appears that Rita Skeeter may be using some method which breaks the law," McGonagall said.
"Big surprise," Moody grunted. "Witch is nothing but trouble."
The investigation of the Triwizard Tournament continued. And speaking of Rita Skeeter, Deadpool remembered the meeting he arranged for the intrepid reporter.
Rita Skeeter waited at a neutral location for the Hogwarts Deputy Caretaker of Magical Sanitation. Of course, her interest had been further piqued by the fact that the goblins had been lurking around.
And a nervous looking Ludo Bagman had been lurking around.
"Mr. Bagman!" Rita called.
Bagman jumped about ten feet in the air. He clutched his chest and recovered quickly.
"Rita, my dear. It's lovely to see you. Is that a new haircut?"
"You've lost weight, Ludo," Rita said.
"I have?" Ludo asked. "Oh, of course I have….you see, I've been running back and forth at the Ministry. This entire Triwizard Tournament mess, with the fourth champion, and Crouch is a bit more short tempered them usual."
"Mmm, looks like Barty might be thrown out through the Floo after this tournament is over," Rita said as she sucked on the tip of her quill. She always had a bit of an oral fixation. Got her in trouble sometimes. "Heard that if we don't get a Hogwarts win, then he's done. Fudge is going to personally insist he retires."
Ludo just shrugged.
"You can't believe every bit of rumor and innuendo you hear, Rita," Bagman said. "Especially considering you concoct a fair bit of it on your own."
Rita just flashed Ludo a smile which showed she was guilty as charged.
"Well, do you have any idea how….."
The goblins staring at Ludo like they wanted to throw him into the Black Lake was a juicy story.
"I've made some investments," Ludo commented. "I need to seal...the deal."
Ludo swallowed and turned around to face the goblins. Rita just hummed and rocked back and forth on her chair. Ludo was such a terrible liar and he was not sealing anything. Other than maybe a coffin. Those weren't Gringotts goblins, no Rita saw them as a rougher variety. Those who were involved in...mmm waste management.
What did Ludo get himself into anyway?"
"I'm here."
Rita's gold tooth glinted with a ding as she saw Mr. Wilson, dressed in a pinstripe suit, and a top hat, with his usual mask on his face.
"Ah, Mr. Wilson, how lovely," Rita said. "So, tell me, how did a man of your...capabilities, come to work at Hogwarts?"
"Well, an associate of mine informed me there was a job open," Wade said. "Old Captain Dread Pirate Filch wanted someone to help pick up the slack...and I needed some place to go while I...well just for a change of scenery. I believe the guy who came up with this entire mess, did it while taking a midnight trip to the Bathroom. Or so the story goes."
"Which guy is it?" Rita asked.
"Oh, you know, the guy transcribing everything that we're doing," Deadpool said. "He pops in and out from time to time. He tells us what you do."
Rita had been intrigued even more so.
"So do you hear voices inside of your head?" Rita asked. "Because, that's not a good sign, not even in the Wizarding World."
"Hey, nice job quoting the canon," Wade offered.
Rita raised her eyebrow. To say she had been confused by this gentleman would be the understatement to end all understatements. Regardless, Rita pressed on.
"Why did Dumbledore hire you? You don't have any magic."
"And Filch is a squid."
That caused Rita's eyebrow to shoot up. She had been confused, but realized what Wade meant.
"Do you mean a squib?" Rita asked.
"Yeah, one of those things," Wade said.
"Do you find it odd that he's hired two people who cannot perform magic to clean up a magical castle? Wouldn't it be more practical or economic to just have the house elves do all of the work? Hogwarts does have thousands of house elves, you know."
"Are you advocating putting humans out of work, Ms. Skeeter?" Wade asked.
"Well, I'm just saying that if Dumbledore wanted to save money, he would not have hired two non-magical humans, when a house elf can do the work in a fifth of the time," Rita said. "Just smart business sense, really."
"Hey, that kind of logical has no place with Dumbledore has the Headmaster," Wade said with a smile. "And I'm more than some deputy caretaker of magical sanitation. I am the Hogwarts Grief Counselor as well, you know."
"Hogwarts Grief Counselor?" Rita asked.
"Yes, I help magical type people, with their magical type problems," Wade confirmed. "It's not easy, sometimes, but hey, it can be very rewarding to make a difference in people's lives. But, never mind that, because I know Dumbledore's deepest, darkest, secrets."
Rita's Quick Quotes quill sprung erect at this news. Wade looked to the right and looked to the left before he peered across the table.
"I'm….I'm….I could end up in the Lake for telling you this," Wade whispered. "Because, Dumbledore, he swore me to secrecy."
"Be brave, Mr. Wilson," Rita said. "It's for the children you serve. If Dumbledore is doing something fiendish, it is for the good of the public that they need to know."
Wade took a long swig of a drink which had just appeared on the table as if on magic.
"Dumbledore says he has a secret collection of rare Chocolate Frog cards," Wade said. "But, it's a front for his more insidious secret. The fact of the matter is...he...he…."
"Yes!" Rita shouted. "Tell me."
"He has a secret collection of My Precious Unicorn Dolls which he plays with."
Rita's Quick Quotes Quill suddenly went flaccid. Dumbledore being a secret Bronicorn was not the type of juicy scoop she was hoping for.
"That's it?" Rita asked.
"Well, his deepest darkest desire is…."
Rita's Quill sprung erect once again.
"A nice warm pair of socks."
For the second time tonight, Rita's quick Quotes Quill went completely and utterly flaccid.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the first task of the Triwizard Tournament!" Ludo Bagman's booming voice echoed. "Our four champions will compete in this daring event to get past the dragons in this Triwizard Tournament."
A group of Hogwarts teachers watched from a box. Dragon Handlers were at the ready, waiting to see if anything had gone out of hand.
"So, we do have wands at the ready in case Potter goes up in flames," Snape said.
"You seem pretty excited about Harry Potter being potentially set on fire, don't you, Snape?" Moody asked.
Snape sighed. Moody would interpret a sneeze as attempted chemical warfare. The years of fighting dark wizards had caused Moody's mind to go on vacation and the old Auror was along for the ride.
"But, surely things wouldn't go bad?" Vector asked. "The Headmaster said things would be safer."
"The Headmaster says a lot of things," Snape said.
Regardless, they turned their eyes to the first competitor out on the docket. Rebecca Black turned up. Snape frowned. Something about the girl's mind seemed off. And her demeanor seemed familiar. That was one point which he would concede with Moody.
"And now our mysterious newcomer, Rebecca Black. No one knows what she's coming from, but can this plucky first year make a name for herself in the Triwizard Tournament?" Ludo asked. "Odds makers state that Rebecca is the underdog in this tournament."
"You would know about that, wouldn't you, Bagman?" Moody asked with his eye on the situation and on the girl.
"And she's about to do something," Wade said.
Sure enough Rebecca waved her wand. A silver zig-zag shot out of her wand and caused the dragon to follow it, like a cat going after a laser pointer. It took several minutes before the Dragon took chase after the silver light. Just enough enough for Rebecca to swoop in and grab the golden egg.
The dragon swooped down, and the crowd cheered.
"Unbelievable...Unbelievable!" Ludo yelled. "Ms. Black has gotten the egg in what has to be record time. Talk about pouring the heat."
"No mere first year could do anything like that," Moody protested.
"To be fair, it's a simple enough charm,' Flitwick said. "But, you have to have natural talent to pull it off."
Moody did not buy anything. Fleur Delacour entered the tournament next, to much fanfare. She spread her arms and put the dragon into a trance, which almost worked.
Right before the dragon shot fire at Fleur and caused her to shriek in surprise. Loud whistles and cheers, as many horny spectators cheered on the dragon in its attempts to burn Fleur's clothes from her body.
"SHOW YOUR TITS! SHOW YOUR TITS!"
"What did they say?" Moody growled.
"I believe they told Ms. Delacour to show her tits," Snape dryly responded.
Deadpool tuts at their behavior. "Come now people. This is a school, not a bingo hall."
Fleur managed to put the fire out, with the few strands of clothes left just barely covering the bare facts. She put the dragon to sleep the rest of the way after recovering.
"Ms. Delacour can use that egg to cover up her...diminishing clothes," Bagman said.
Everyone booed when Fleur had been covered up by a blanket and escorted into the tent. Some people started to throw rotten tomatoes down.
Wade looked very pleased with himself.
'I knew opening that tomato stand last weekend would come in handy.'
"Viktor Krum."
Snidely did not even bother to hide his blatant favoritism. "Go for it, Krum. Show them we are the master race!"
To Krum's credit, he did not even acknowledge Karkaroff's potentially problematic cheer. He moved in front of the Dragon. Everyone wondered what Krum had up his sleeve. While he was a wizard on the field of Quidditch.
"And Krum is just sizing this one up...and right to the eyes…."
The Dragon howled in agony and started trampling her own eggs.
'Man hopefully those aren't real Dragon eggs. Or the Pro-Life people are going to complain about this on the Internet for this scene being Pro-Choice.'
The howling of the dragon continued as she trampled her eggs. Krum be nimble, Krum be quick, Krum jump over the eggs, and get them very quick. Although he got the Golden Egg.
"While the damage caused is going to cost him, there's no question about it, Viktor Krum has got his egg."
Everyone gave Krum middling scores, except for Snidely, who gave him a ten.
"Karkaroff is always about as subtle as the Hogwarts Express," Snape dryly commented.
"And ladies and gentlemen, the one you've all been waiting for, Harry Potter, the Boy-Who-Lived."
Everyone prepared for a catastrophe as Harry stepped into the field to face the feared Hungarian Horntail.
Harry mimed doing magic. A movement which fooled everyone, even Mad-Eye Moody. No one, saw the red-blue blur which shot into the stadium, scooped the Golden Egg right in front of the Dragon, and put it in Harry Potter's hands.
Deadpool just smirked beneath his mask knowingly.
'Harry Potter summons Supergirl. Supergirl uses super speed. It's pretty effective.'
'Way to spell it out, Dingleberry.'
"And shattering the record created by Ms. Rebecca Black, it's Harry Potter! Harry Potter has gotten the Golden Egg and no doubt shortened the odds on him."
Everyone gave Harry a perfect ten for his performance. Well, other than Snidely, who gave him a very grudging seven, and that looked like it even pained him.
Deep inside of the guise of Rebecca, Lord Voldemort raged. How dare Harry Potter steal his, her, spotlight? Everyone had forgotten about Rebecca's bit of magic and they had all been buzzing about Harry Potter.
Killing Harry Potter had not been personal until now, just business. But, now it was very personal.

I looked outside my bedroom window looking at night sky and trying to justify I deserve a second chance in life and all I did before was better for everyone including me. But that's sound like a complete bullshit.

I tried scratching my head where my bandage was irritating me. 'Fuck this stupid head thing.' I screamed internally.
I fall back on my bed and said out loud 'I deserve a second chance in life, I deserve a second chance in life, I deserve a second chance in life. But do I deserve to be Lily Evans?'
I looked at my 5-year-old hands and tried again to reason I have earned merit, in my life to be given a second chance and to be give a boon of magic also.
'Am I really going to live in this magic world?' I felt shiver run down my spine.
'Harry Potter world Hummm, I have read countless fan-fiction.' But in fan-fiction there was a distinct type of MC being all good or all evil? You can tell that by reading about them from the start. How they go about approaching people and how they all have the halo of all going according to the plan. Rarely they have any issue with plot holes, like how can a baby defeat the power dark lord or how Defence Against The Dark Arts potion is Curse and no one was able to break it. There are multiple plot issue that was never talked by Rowling and it was taken up by fan-fiction society to manipulate as they want.
'Wait am a Main Character?' I sat up again with frown on my face. In the last 50+ year life I have all way like as I wanted and worked hard to get what I wanted. Money, Fame, lovers..husbands.
Should I just live it like that, or should I be like Lily even is going to be (according to the books or fan fiction). Goodie two shoes, know it all, good at charms, wife of Potter and mother to Harry Potter? Was there more to Lily Potter I mean Evens than that?
'OK stop this and start thinking as you. What would you do'?
IF I was Lily Evans then first, I need to remove the status of muggle born from me. This is trick and will make smarts and money but this NEED to be done. Second, I must decide should I connect with Severus Snape or not? I need to stay neutral in this war. 
'Should I leave British Isles?' No, I need to qualify as full grow witch and then I can do what I want.
Potter and Black, I know lot about them due to books and fan-fiction, what is true and what real that is what I need to figure out.
With all these thought I went to sleep having a weird nightmare of running while getting chased by dogs with knife in their mouths and running with ravens by my side.

Next morning my mother or Lily mother came in and start fussing over me. I just rolled my eyes and did what she told while thinking about my home situation. Helen and harry Evans are good and normal (eye roll and yes, I said that about Lily's) parents. Her sister on the other had is a stuck-up, stupid girl who things she is the best and deserve the best, Petunia Evans.
Normal, easy and muggle life. This is what Lily's I mean my life is.
I don't think Lily has met Severus Snape as they just moved into this house 2 days ago and Lily in all her hyper running got hit in her head by the door and fainted.
All TADA I appear in her body all 53 year back on time. Fuck.
'OK, calm down' I murmured starting hard at my breakfast.
'ahem ahem' I turn my head to petunia who was smirking at me. Bitch.
I stared at her and said 'what'? She smiled and said 'breakfast is getting cold and you should finish it quickly'.
I turned back to my breakfast and stared at it again and slow started eating.
Harry Evans ( I need to start calling his dad, I through) and started talking to Helan and Petunia about the upcoming school semester and how we are all going have good Christmas in this big home.

Wait do I even have magic. I screamed initially and standing up straight. All Evans started at me and I just stood there thinking hard. This body has no collection of magic or anything she has ever done.

Mid-January found Harry at one of two places he now spent almost all of his waking time, those being his training room in Potter Manor and his desk in the Black house. He was currently sat at his desk immersed in the work he had to complete for Mad-eye Moody, a man he equally loved and hated as it went.

He loved the man for the challenge he had given him with this particular workload but hated him also for the very same reason. There was no doubt that it was quite the task he had been set and the young man had a very good understanding of obtaining a mastery entailed. The study hours were long and the ones spent writing even longer but he found that he enjoyed it overall and it truly gave him a much better understanding of magic; he even felt more bonded and in control of his own through the understanding he was gaining.

Since Christmas day he had found that he had a new determination to succeed. Not that he hadn't been motivated before, but something had awoken within him after spending a day such as the one he had with them all; Sirius, Natalie, Marlene and the Greengrass's.

But it was the final member of the group that had given him something that he had sorely needed and always had when he came to ponder it; complete utter care and unwavering faith.

Yes, he had gotten that from Arcturus but the man had expectations and he certainly let them be known regularly.

What he had from Daphne was different. It was as though there was nothing he couldn't do that would disappoint her if he failed at it but had given it his all, and that was the difference.

She expected nothing from him other than for him to be himself and she just wanted to be with him for who he was. She had said so herself many times but Harry had always had expectations thrust upon him, even by those that he knew did care for him so had found it difficult to take the words of the girl to heart.

Both Ron and Hermione had been guilty of it as had Sirius and even Dumbledore and Arcturus. But Daphne had never once had expectations other than for him to try his best at whatever he was doing and it was a much change in his life.

It was because of this that he found that he could open himself up to the girl. He could speak his mind and speak about his insecurities and be confident that she would help him in any way she could, expecting nothing in return.

She truly cared for Harry, just Harry and not what everyone thought of him or expected from their hero and saviour, as he was often referred to.

It was this understanding and realisation about the girl that had made a few subtle but noteworthy changes within the teen, something he was both very happy and nervous about.

He no longer had such a blasé attitude towards death and it was quite the revelation to the young man.

He certainly had no fear of it, of that he could be sure. But he no longer secretly found himself wishing for it as he had done often enough since the night in the graveyard.

He had been given hope in some form for a future after Riddle had been ended; something he hadn't allowed himself to look into much because he knew there was a chance that he would never have it.

He now had a new sense of determination in his fight and that determination was to live and share more days with those he cared for such as the Christmas that had just passed.

It was no longer about vengeance by any means necessary, but vengeance with added goals that could only be achieved if he was successful and lived.

The determination manifested itself in the way that Harry now worked and spent his life.

He would train as he usually would but much more vigorously in every aspect and then study and soak up as much knowledge about his two best subjects. He had even brought the Dark Arts library for the office in Potter Manor so he could read through it after he had had a conversation with his grandfather about the collection.

Charlus had assured him that he was not in fact a Dark wizard in disguise but explained that he wanted as much knowledge as possible in what he could potentially be facing one day, thus his collection was born through serious monetary expenditure and effort in finding the books.

Harry found that he agreed with the man and decided that most of these spells would not be his usual practice by any means, but when it came to Riddle; he would throw every last spell at him regardless of how dark it was to ensure his victory.

Harry had thought about this long and hard and decided that he would use every spell available to him in his final confrontation. Riddle would not be holding back and Harry realised he shouldn't either. It was a fight to the death and the young man was determined that he would not be falling on that day, no matter what magic he had to use, he was going to win.

He rubbed his eyes and saw that it was late but was pleased with the progress he had made. He knew with his current pace that he would be finished with both of the projects by Easter, much faster than expected or anticipated.

He readied himself for bed and made his nightly call to the young blonde that seemed to be occupying much more of his thoughts recently before turning in for the night, sleeping and repeating the day's activities over again.

He was however disturbed before sleep came by a tapping on the window.

He opened it and a crow entered carrying an envelope in its beak. It simply deposited the letter on the desk, glared at the teen with clear contempt before exiting with a loud and ear-splitting screech.

Harry opened the missive and frowned as he read it shaking his head irritably.

The frown quickly turned into a scowl and his eyes glowed dangerously.

He picked up a quill and some parchment before scratching out a reply to the sender.

"We will see about that" he growled angrily as he sent Hedwig off with the note.

Heaps of gold Galleons. Stacks of silver Sickles. Piles of bronze Knuts.
Harry stood there, and stared with his mouth open at the family vault. He had so many questions he didn't know where to start.
From just outside the door of the vault, Professor McGonagall watched him, seeming to lean casually against the wall, but her eyes intent. Well, that made sense. Being plopped in front of a giant heap of gold coins was a test of character so pure it was archetypal.

"Are these coins the pure metal?" Harry said finally.
"What?" hissed the goblin Griphook, who was waiting near the door. "Are you questioning the integrity of Gringotts, Mr. Potter-Evans-Verres?"
"No," said Harry absently, "not at all, sorry if that came out wrong, sir. I just have no idea at all how your financial system works. I'm asking if Galleons in general are made of pure gold."
"Of course," said Griphook.
"And can anyone coin them, or are they issued by a monopoly that thereby collects seigniorage?"
"What?" said Professor McGonagall.
Griphook grinned, showing sharp teeth. "Only a fool would trust any but goblin coin!"
"In other words," Harry said, "the coins aren't supposed to be worth any more than the metal making them up?"
Griphook stared at Harry. Professor McGonagall looked bemused.
"I mean, suppose I came in here with a ton of silver. Could I get a ton of Sickles made from it?"
"For a fee, Mr. Potter-Evans-Verres." The goblin watched him with glittering eyes. "For a certain fee. Where would you find a ton of silver, I wonder?"
"I was speaking hypothetically," Harry said. For now, at any rate. "So... how much would you charge in fees, as a fraction of the whole weight?"

Griphook's eyes were intent. "I would have to consult my superiors..."
"Give me a wild guess. I won't hold Gringotts to it."
"A twentieth part of the metal would well pay for the coining."
Harry nodded. "Thank you very much, Mr. Griphook."
So not only is the wizarding economy almost completely decoupled from the Muggle economy, no one here has ever heard of arbitrage. The larger Muggle economy had a fluctuating trading range of gold to silver, so every time the Muggle gold-to-silver ratio got more than 5% away from the weight of seventeen Sickles to one Galleon, either gold or silver should have drained from the wizarding economy until it became impossible to maintain the exchange rate. Bring in a ton of silver, change to Sickles (and pay 5%), change the Sickles for Galleons, take the gold to the Muggle world, exchange it for more silver than you started with, and repeat.
Wasn't the Muggle gold to silver ratio somewhere around fifty to one? Harry didn't think it was seventeen, anyway. And it looked like the silver coins were actually smaller than the gold coins.
Then again, Harry was standing in a bank that literally stored your money in vaults full of gold coins guarded by dragons, where you had to go in and take coins out of your vault whenever you wanted to spend money. The finer points of arbitraging away market inefficiencies might well be lost on them. He'd been tempted to make snide remarks about the crudity of their financial system...

But the sad thing is, their way is probably better.
On the other hand, one competent hedge fundie could probably own the whole wizarding world within a week. Harry filed away this notion in case he ever ran out of money, or had a week free.
Meanwhile, the giant heaps of gold coins within the Potter vault ought to suit his near-term requirements.
Harry stumped forward, and began picking up gold coins with one hand and dumping them into the other.
When he had reached twenty, Professor McGonagall coughed. "I think that will be more than enough to pay for your school supplies, Mr. Potter."
"Hm?" Harry said, his mind elsewhere. "Hold on, I'm doing a Fermi calculation."
"A what?" said Professor McGonagall, sounding somewhat alarmed.
"It's a mathematical thing. Named after Enrico Fermi. A way of getting rough numbers quickly in your head..."
Twenty gold Galleons weighed a tenth of a kilogram, maybe? And gold was, what, ten thousand British pounds a kilogram? So a Galleon would be worth about fifty pounds... The mounds of gold coins looked to be about sixty coins high and twenty coins wide in either dimension of the base, and a mound was pyramidal, so it would be around one-third of the cube. Eight thousand Galleons per mound, roughly, and there were around five mounds of that size, so forty thousand Galleons or 2 million pounds sterling.
Not bad. Harry smiled with a certain grim satisfaction. It was too bad that he was right in the middle of discovering the amazing new world of magic, and couldn't take time out to explore the amazing new world of being rich, which a quick Fermi estimate said was roughly a billion times less interesting.
Still, that's the last time I ever mow a lawn for one lousy pound.
Harry wheeled from the giant heap of money. "Pardon me for asking, Professor McGonagall, but I understand that my parents were in their twenties when they died. Is this a usual amount of money for a young couple to have in their vault, in the wizarding world?" If it was, a cup of tea probably cost five thousand pounds. Rule one of economics: you can't eat money.
Professor McGonagall shook her head. "Your father was the last heir of an old family, Mr. Potter. It's also possible..." The witch hesitated. "Some of this money may be from bounties placed on You-Know-Who, payable to his ki- ah, to whoever might defeat him. Or those bounties might not have been collected yet. I am not sure."
"Interesting..." Harry said slowly. "So some of this really is, in a sense, mine. That is, earned by me. Sort of. Possibly. Even if I don't remember the occasion." Harry's fingers tapped against his trouser-leg. "That makes me feel less guilty about spending a very tiny fraction of it! Don't panic, Professor McGonagall!"Mr. Potter! You are a minor, and as such, you will only be allowed to make reasonable withdrawals from -"
"I am all about reasonable! I am totally on board with fiscal prudence and impulse control! But I did see some things on the way here which would constitute sensible, grown-up purchases..."
Harry locked gazes with Professor McGonagall, engaging in a silent staring contest.
"Like what?" Professor McGonagall said finally.
"Trunks whose insides hold more than their outsides?"
Professor McGonagall's face grew stern. "Those are very expensive, Mr. Potter!"
"Yes, but -" Harry pleaded. "I'm sure that when I'm an adult I'll want one. And I can afford one. Logically, it would make just as much sense to buy it now instead of later, and get the use of it right away. It's the same money either way, right? I mean, I would want a good one, with lots of room inside, good enough that I wouldn't have to just get a better one later..." Harry trailed off hopefully.
Professor McGonagall's gaze didn't waver. "And just what would you keep in a trunk like that, Mr. Potter -"
"Books."
"Of course," sighed Professor McGonagall.
"You should have told me much earlier that sort of magic item existed! And that I could afford one! Now my father and I are going to have to spend the next two days frantically hitting up all the secondhand bookshops for old textbooks, so I can have a decent science library with me at Hogwarts - and maybe a small science fiction collection, if I can assemble something decent out of the bargain bins. Or better yet, I'll make the deal a little sweeter for you, okay? Just let me buy -"
"Mr. Potter! You think you can bribe me?"
"What? No! Not like that! I'm saying, Hogwarts can keep some of the books I bring, if you think that any of them would make good additions to the library. I'm going to be getting them cheap, and I just want to have them around somewhere or other. It's okay to bribe people with books, right? That's a -"
"Family tradition."
"Yes, exactly."
Professor McGonagall's body seemed to slump, the shoulders lowering within her black robes. "I cannot deny the sense of your words, though I much wish I could. I will allow you to withdraw an additional hundred Galleons, Mr. Potter." She sighed again. "I know that I shall regret this, and I am doing it anyway."
"That's the spirit! And does a 'mokeskin pouch' do what I think it does?"
"It can't do as much as a trunk," the witch said with visible reluctance, "but... a mokeskin pouch with a Retrieval Charm and Undetectable Extension Charm can hold a number of items until they are called forth by the one who emplaced them -"
"Yes! I definitely need one of those too! It would be like the super beltpack of ultimate awesomeness! Batman's utility belt of holding! Never mind my swiss army knife, I could carry a whole tool set in there! Or books! I could have the top three books I was reading on me at all times, and just pull one out anywhere! I'll never have to waste another minute of my life! What do you say, Professor McGonagall? It's for the sake of children's reading, the best of all possible causes."
"...I suppose you may add another ten Galleons."
Griphook was favouring Harry with a gaze of frank respect, possibly even outright admiration.
"And a little spending money, like you mentioned earlier. I think I can remember seeing one or two other things I might want to store in that pouch."
"Don't push it, Mr. Potter."
"But oh, Professor McGonagall, why rain on my parade? Surely this is a happy day, when I discover all things wizarding for the first time! Why act the part of the grumpy grownup when instead you could smile and remember your own innocent childhood, watching the look of delight upon my young face as I buy a few toys using an insignificant fraction of the wealth that I earned by defeating the most terrible wizard Britain has ever known, not that I'm accusing you of being ungrateful or anything, but still, what are a few toys compared to that?"
"You," growled Professor McGonagall. There was a look on her face so fearsome and terrible that Harry squeaked and stepped back, knocking over a pile of gold coins with a great jingling noise and sprawling backwards into a heap of money. Griphook sighed and put a palm over his face. "I would be doing a great service to wizarding Britain, Mr. Potter, if I locked you in this vault and left you here."
And they left without any more trouble.

Chapter Six: House Black, reborn.

Harry looked to her, "I don't mind you being there, after all, Tonks has met Josephine, the rest of them might as well."

Harry and Bellatrix were met by the newly minted Master Griphook at the entrance to the vaults. Climbing into the Goblin made cart they prepared to be taken down to the Vault that now housed the collected fortunes of the Potter and Black families. Harry noticed that while he was doing better this time than when he came down at age eleven, Bellatrix looked more queasy.

He wasn't sure why he did it, but he reached over and took her hand again. She looked to him and made what was most likely a smile of thanks, but came out looking more like a wince. That contact, along with the other little touches he'd given her since coming into Gringotts had helped her in more ways than he knew. Each touch had helped quiet the whispers that had started hissing in her brain again. When she was near Harry it seemed to quiet them, and when he touched her, they seemed to vanish entirely for a time.

A few more moments on the rickety cart found them in front of the Potter-Black House vault. Griphook reached into his pocket and handed Harry a small black key. "This, Lord Potter-Black, is your vault key. No one can enter this vault unless accompanied by you. In addition, this key is tuned to your blood, even if someone were to steal this key and use polyjuice or a glamour to take your appearance, they would be unable to use the key to enter your vault. "

Griphook turned from the pair and touched the door, Harry and Bellatrix heard the numerous magical locks disengage and the door opened.

"Sweet Maeve..." Bellatrix whispered as she looked at the collected wealth on display. She turned to Harry, "Do you realize that you could live like a king for your entire life and never spend half of this? You could leave England to Voldemort and hide yourself anywhere you wanted..."

Harry looked to her, "I could, but we both know he'd come searching for me, he would kill everyone that knew me. You heard the prophecy, either I kill him, or he kills me."

Bellatrix looked at him, this..he wasn't a boy, not anymore...he was a Lord of two houses, he had fought her former master multiple times to a draw...this young man was stronger than he had any right to be. Whatever happens Bella, you are with him now... She thought as she turned her notice back the treasure before them. There it was, sitting on one of the tables was her box. It really was Sirius's old album collection and his old player. He'd gotten the thing during a trip to muggle London with James, he'd enchanted it to work inside a magical home. Almost reverently, she walked over and took the box into her arms. She closed her eyes, and for a moment she was transported back to her childhood, laying on the carpet with Sirius, listening to music and pretending her parents weren't trying to ruin her life downstairs. She thought to a different evening.

Sirius and James were in the room with her, they had just put on a new album. It was the music from a concert they'd all three went to in southern Ireland. She and James had danced together to the music and she'd done something stupid..she'd kissed him. It was just on his cheek, but it was a kiss regardless. That evening they were upstairs when Bellatrix had been summoned by Aunt Walburga. She'd never came back upstairs, that had been the last time Sirius or James had seen her until she'd been named the Lady LeStrange.

Bellatrix blinked back tears then looked over towards Harry. He was looking at one of the Potter family books. It appeared that he would be taking it with him. "Harry?" Bellatrix called to him, "Do you mind if, when we get home, if I destroy that painting of Aunt Walburga? "

Harry smiled, "Are you kidding? If you can get that thing down, you have my blessing to do whatever you want to it." Kreacher will end up even crazier than he is now with Bellatrix back in the family. Harry thought with some amount of joy.

Once prepared to leave they were taken back up to the Gringotts lobby. Checking with a conjured mirror to make sure that her glamour was still applied, Bellatrix looked over to Harry, "Let's get back to Grimmauld Place, I really want to hear these albums again."

Harry had left her to her devices once they arrived back home at Grimmauld Place. The first thing Bellatrix had done was use a burning charm to reduce the painting of Walburga Black to ash.

"KREACHER!" She yelled out, the wizened old House Elf appeared with a pop. "Kreacher lives to serve the great hou-what has Mistress Bellatrix done to the painting of great Lady Walburga?" The old House Elf looked at if he was about to have a heart attack, but Bellatrix stopped him.

"Walburga Black was directly responsible for the death of Regulus Black, and my torture at the hands of Rodolphus LeStrange. If I could have then, I would have lit her on fire for real and not her portrait. Now, clean up these ashes and get this house set back into proper order. You have a new Lord Black again, you will treat him with the respect due his station. I am once again a Black, and I promise you, I will not brook insults to my head of house."

Kreacher looked to her, then to the ashes. Muttering about the trick the 'nasty lady Walburga' had played on to 'poor loyal Kreacher' he did as she asked. Bellatrix turned to Harry, "Right then, I'll be downstairs if you need me." She went into the basement and in a few minutes Harry could hear the strains of faint music.

After a time, Harry came downstairs. Kreacher had announced dinner would be ready shortly, so he went down to tell Bellatrix. He stopped at the doorway stunned. Bellatrix was dancing...not just dancing, but smiling as if she'd been given a million galleons. Noticing him, she rushed over and took his hands, forcing him to dance with her. The music played merrily and Harry picked up the chorus.

'Step we gaily, on we go

Heel for heel and toe for toe, Arm in arm and row on row All for Mairi's wedding.'

She kept him moving until the end of the song. She was panting lightly, she'd been dancing possibly since the first song nearly an hour ago. Their eyes locked and for a moment he forgot why he was down there.

Finally he cleared his throat, "uh..Kreacher has dinner ready..." She looked down and then back to him, "Thank you...for everything." She released his hands and they prepared to go upstairs. This time they felt the ward, someone was at the door. Bellatrix quickly reapplied her glamour and walked with him to the foyer.

Molly Weasley, Ginny Weasley, and Hermione Granger were standing there. Tonks had apparently been busy, now Harry had three women in various stages of anger and confusion staring at him.
