ALBUS DUMBLEDORE

The Master of Death (also known as Conqueror of Death, Vanquisher of Death and others) is the one who has in their possession all three of the legendary Deathly Hallows, which are the Elder Wand, Resurrection Stone, and Cloak of Invisibility. While it is generally assumed that becoming the master of Death refers to some form of immortality, according to Albus Dumbledore and Harry Potter the true Master of Death truly accepts the fact that death is inevitable, and that there are other things much worse than death.

History

There are two different beliefs concerning how the Deathly Hallows came to be. According to legend - as noted in The Tales of Beedle the Bard - they were created by Death himself as a reward to the Peverell brothers for having evaded him. However, according to Albus Dumbledore, they were probably made by the Peverells themselves.

The legend goes that in the 13th century, the Peverell brothers managed to trick Death himself by using magic to conjure a bridge to cross a dangerous river. Death stopped them because most travellers would have drowned. He offered them a reward each which was secretly a way to corrupt them and lead them to their deaths in another way. This was true in the case of Antioch Peverell, who was the original owner of the Elder Wand, and Cadmus Peverell, who was the original owner of the Resurrection Stone. However, while his brothers asked for something which gave them power, Ignotus Peverell asked for the Invisibility cloak so he could hide from Death. Ignotus eventually accepted that he must die and greeted Death as an old friend.

Over time, the Hallows fell into legend. Very few knew they truly existed and because of this, very few tried to search for them. Out of this sprung a legend which said that whoever united the Hallows by possessing all three at the same time would become The Master of Death. Many have incorrectly assumed that becoming the "Master of Death" will grant a form of immortality.

In their youth, both Gellert Grindelwald and Albus Dumbledore had been obsessed with the dream of uniting the Hallows and becoming the Masters of Death. Grindelwald managed to lay claim to the Elder Wand by stealing it from its previous master, Mykew Gregorovitch, but never found the other two Hallows. Albus Dumbledore and Harry Potter are the only known people to have held each of the three Hallows, although neither possessed all three simultaneously (the closest was Harry being the Elder Wand's master, though not in physical possession of it, while having both the Stone and the Cloak in his physical possession). Dumbledore regarded Harry as the "true master of death," not because of the fact that he had united the Hallows, but for truly accepting death and not fearing it.

Ignotus Peverell mastered only one of the Hallows, but accepted the inevitability of death, which would make him an honorary Master of Death as per Albus Dumbledore's interpretation of the title's meaning.

Albus Dumbledore possessed all three Hallows, but not at the same time. He mastered the Elder Wand, borrowed the Cloak of Invisibility from James Potter before giving it to Harry during his first year at Hogwarts, and found the Resurrection Stone in the Gaunt shack. He accepted his own death, also qualifying for his own definition.
However, it can also be implied as Dumbledore tried to bring his deceased family back with the help of Resurrection Stone so he didn't consider himself as true master of death because he felt he didn't accept death as inevitable.

Harry Potter possessed all three Hallows and accepted his own death. First, he inherited the Cloak of Invisibility from his father, James. Then, he inherited the Resurrection Stone from Dumbledore, which was inside a snitch. Finally, he won the Elder Wand from Draco Malfoy during the escape from Malfoy Manor. Even though he did not physically own every Hallow at the same time – by the time he physically possessed the Elder Wand, he had left the Resurrection Stone behind in the Forbidden Forest - he employed the use of all three directly and indirectly when he allowed Lord Voldemort to kill him: He was wearing the Cloak, using the Stone, and killed by the Wand, which Harry had already won. However, the true master doesn't only unite the Hallows. The true master must accept he will die, and when Harry went to his own death willingly while directly and indirectly possessing the Hallows, he became the Master of Death because death never defeated him.

All wands with Thestral tail hair cores, including the Elder Wand, will only work at their best for a wielder who has accepted death. Thus, one would need to be an honorary Master of Death (per Albus Dumbledore's interpretation of the title's meaning) in order to wield any Thestral tail hair wand at its best.

It's 2 am in the morning and i feel tired but i can't sleep,I actually have insomnia i started having insomnia at the age 13.I don't really know what could have caused it.I sat up from my bed and looked at the clock on my desk 3 am.I have been thinking for an hour about my insomnia?well it sometimes happen that i zone out.I got up from my bed and went to my closet i got my usual cloths out and got dressed.I went to the kitchen to get a midnight snack,I decided on a small cereal bar,i walked slowly to the living room and sat on the couch and turned on the tv.I watched Pokemon on the tv for a while until i heard someone walking to the living room.I looked behind me and saw my sister Suki she was also suffering from insomnia.

I finished the philosophers stone so i guess i'll go eat. i look at the clock on my desk and see it's 7 am.I Went to the kitchen making some pancakes for Yokai and Suki as i finish making the pancakes and putting them on three plates Yokai comes in he sat down at the table and started eating,i walk to the living room and see Suki is still watching her show."Hey Sis breakfast is ready"i say leaning against the wall she looks at me with bags under her eyes and she smiles"Thanks LW"She responds sitting up we both walk to the kitchen Suki sits at the table and starts eating,I grab my plate of pancakes pour some syrup on them and going to my room to watch more anime.As i walked in my room i turned on my laptop and decided that i'll watch wolf rain it's a cool anime.

As Yuki walked in her room i quickly finished my pancakes."Hey i'll feed the animal k?"Yokai said i flinched when he started speaking but i calmed down quite quickly.I walked to my room thinking about Yuki she is too young to have insomnia She is only 15 years old.I started having insomnia at the age 18 but she?She got insomnia at the age of 13 that's a really young age.I'm worried about her she has quite visible bags under her eye.I should stop worrying she'll be fine she is strong for her age.I walk to the bookshelf in my room but not before looking at the clock on the desk my laptop is on.It read 9 am so i guess i'll read a book let's see the options

"Harry. You've been studying that black gemstone for the past few hours. Can you at least tell me what's so special about it?" Hermione huffed while crossing her arms and he had to stop the urge to pull her cheeks once again because of how adorable she looked.

He knew that she would eventually grow up to be a beautiful woman and then he would be able to advance their relationship but till then, he would just enjoy himself by teasing her.

"If you want my attention so much then you could just say it you know." He said with a smirk that would definitely get a raise out of the girl.

And just like he predicted, Hermione frowned at his words before groaning in annoyance at him.

"Fine. If you don't want to tell me, then keep it to yourself." She said with a huff and turned around to continue practicing the Will & Intent magic.

He smiled at her angry expression and hugged her gently from behind. She didn't protest because she was used to such surprise hugs from him and they stayed quietly like that for a few moments before he spoke without breaking the hug "What do you know the 'Deathly
 Hallows'?"

"Deathly Hallows?" she asked with a confused expression and he realized that she probably didn't knew anything about it which was understandable.

The Original Harry and his friends didn't knew about the Deathly Hallows until Xenophilius Lovegood told them about it.

"Yes. Do you know about the tale of the Three Brothers?" he asked while burying his face in her bushy hair.

"Harry." She said with exasperation at his antics but didn't push him away "I think I've heard about that story. It's about the three brothers who met death and then were rewarded by it."

"Yup. That's the one." He said and kissed her cheeks gently, finally getting the blush from her that he wanted "Do you remember what those three gifts were?"

"Let me think.. Umm… The first brother was given a wand… The second brother was given a stone to bring back the spirits of the dead and the third one was given a invisibility clock from Death's own cloak."

"Good. Those were the gifts that were given by death to the three brothers and together they're called the deathly hallows." He said and a quill and notepad flew in front of her and started drawing the sign of the Deathly Hallows.

"But Harry, what does that has to do anything with that… oh."

"Yes." He nodded and showed the stone which held the same engravings in it and Hermione's eyed widened in shock before she regained her bearings and scrutinized the stone closely.

"Harry, you do know that just because someone carved a symbol on a black rock doesn't actually mean that it's a Deathly Hallow, right?" she asked while closely inspecting the stone.

"Of course Hermione. I may act like a fool sometimes but that doesn't mean I'm actually stupid." He drawled and she blushed at his words.

"Yea. Sorry about that. But still. Why do you think that this is the real Deathly Hallow?"

"Well…" How the hell would he explain that he saw the stone being used in a movie in which she was one of the character.

The answer was clear.

He couldn't.

Not at this moment at least.

"Well?" Hermione asked, getting impatient because of his hesitation and silence.

So instead of answering her question, he put the stone in her palm and closed her fist before he whispered in her ears "Do you have any loved ones in your family that died. Someone that you want to meet?"

Hermione froze for a moment and then said "I did had a grandmother who died in an accident when I was five years old. But I don't remember…"

That's as far as she went before an old woman materialized in front of them.

He felt Hermione's breath hitch and he himself felt a shiver of fear go through his body.

He had seen the stone being used in the movie before Harry went to Voldemort in order to die. But seeing it in a movie and experiencing it in real life are two very different things.

The ring brought back the shades of the dead.

Provided that it didn't really Ressurect the people like how it's name suggested but still.

It brought back the shade of the dead people so that the living could talk with them.

How the hell is that even possible.

Despite being an exceptional wizard who played with the laws of the world on a regular basis, he found this experience to be rather disconcerting.

"Granny." Hermione cried in his embrace and ran toward the ghostly figure in order to hug her loving Grandma who was giving her a gentle smile.

But before Hermione could jump at the old woman in order to hug her, he ran behind her and caught her by her arms.

"Harry." She cried out and gave him a pitiful expression "Please let me go. That's my grandma." She sobbed a bit and he felt his heart wrench in pain at her sadness.

Perhaps he should have used this stone himself before giving it to Hermione.

But couldn't do that because of the fear that the Shades of James and Lily Potter would recognize his true identity and blame him for taking their son's body of something.

If Hermione heard them say something like that, then it would a disaster as he was trying his best to hide his identity of a future transmigrator.

"No Hermione. Remember the story of the second brother." He said while rubbing her back in a soothing gesture "Remember how he tried to bring back his lover and killed himself in the end because his lover couldn't live with him. That…" he pointed at the old woman "Is not your real grandmother. She is just a shade of her. So you won't be able to touch her or force her to live with you."

"You can only interact with her for a few minutes after which you must let her go." He said and Hermione wiped her tears and sniffed a bit before giving him a nod.

He nodded back in return and allowed her to leave his embrace after which she went and started talking with her grandma who was still looking at the girl with an indulgent and loving expression.

He wondered if he could use the stone.

He did not have any loved ones that he could ressurect in this life and he couldn't remember any person from his past life.

In essence, this stone was rather useless to him.

Still, he wondered if he would be able to bring back some of the greatest wizards in history.

If he could, then would he be able to learn from them?

Would they even care to teach him?

He knew that he was a great wizard in his own rights but he was also sure that he would be able to learn a great deal of things from other older and experienced wizards.

Especially if he could talk with someone like Rowena Ravenclaw, Helga Hufflepuff, Salazar Slytherin, Godric Gryffindor and the Great Wizard Merlin himself.

He knew that it was highly unlikely that he would be able to bring back the shades of the founders or Merlin but he wouldn't know until he tried.

Plus, he was not sure if a shade of the dead people would even be inclined to help him.

And if they did want to help him, then how long would they stay in the living world. And how many times would he be able to call upon them.

He needed more time and an empty place to experiment with this stone.

He wondered if he would be able to bring back the shade of the Original Harry Potter.

That would be truly ironic, wouldn't it.

He was broken out of his thoughts when he saw Hermione start to sob in front of her grandma once again.

He put the thoughts of experimenting with the stone in the back of his mind and went to support Hermione.

There were a lot of questions running in his mind about the Resurrection stone and the Deathly Hallows.

If being the owner of those three artifacts would truly make him an immortal like the legends said or not.

If he even wanted such an immortality or not.

But for the moment, giving support to Hermione takes precedent.

So he went behind him and hugged the sobbing girl once again who turned around and fell in his embrace while sobbing.

It took a long while for her to calm down after which she talked with her granny once again.

The talk was nothing really special but simply Hermione telling her Granny how much she missed her and her Granny telling her how she was so proud of her and how she would always love her.

And after they said their goodbyes, the Granny finally turned and him and he felt the hair on his back stand at her gaze.

This was a dead person staring at him.

And he found the experience rather scary so he was not very keen on talking with her.

Maybe he would postpone the experiments of ressurection stone.

Yup, that seems like a fucking lovely idea.

"You don't need to fear me child." The old woman said with a smile and he tried to smile back for Hermione but it came out more as a grimace than anything else.

"I can see that you are a very good friend of my granddaughter. She can be a handful sometimes. So please take care of her." She said and bowed to him sincerely.

He bowed to her in return and when he looked up once again, she was gone.

He turned to look at Hermione and found that she had genuine smile on her face with an expression that clearly said that she had finally accepted the death of her granny.

Good for her.

He hugged her from behind once again and she continued to gaze at the place where the shade of her granny vanished before she leaned in his hug and rested her head on his shoulder.

My name is Jake Carter I am 16 years old and I am a huge Harry Potter nerd and ever since I finished the Deathly Hallows movie I was disappointed I mean come on Harry was weak as hell, they kill off some of my favorite characters Remus, Tonks, Fred, Mad Eye-Moody, and Severus Snape the last one made me cry a bit. Any how one day I go out for a morning jog and just as I was about cross the street my heart suddenly stopped and the next I know I am in some dark place with a throne room which brings us to our current situation.
I look up at the cloaked figure in a deadpan voice "So your saying I died from a Heart attack but how I always exercise and keep a healthy diet" the cloaked figured sighed as it spoke " look kid I am sorry but I killed you but you have to understand you didn't belong in that world " Jakes shock wore off a bit as he stared at Death in wonder "What do you mean ?" I asked as Death sighed if that was even possible "Look you come from the universe as you know as the Potter verse-" Death was interrupted by Jakes out burst of happiness "SO YOUR SAYING I AM FROM THE POTTER VERSE THAT IS AMAZING DOES THAT MEAN YOUR GOING TO TAKE ME THERE IS SO WILL I HAVE SOME WISHES" you see while Jake was a Harry Potter nerd that didn't mean he did not read fanfics more specifically self inserts.
Death sighs again "yes Jake you come from the Potter verse now then like you said before you do get wishes but only three and that's it oh one more thing this isn't some story this is real life don't think this is fun and games I need you take this seriously all right kid" Jake gulps as he replies "Okay so uh three wishes huh" Death nodes its head before replying "Yup so make your three wishes I got other things to do you know" Jake nods before thinking about pros and cons about certain wishes finally Jakes spoke " all right Death for my first wish I want to speak and know all languages including animals included" Death snaps it fingers before saying "granted next" "for my next wish I want to be able to have mastery over any type of object I touch automatically such as swords, technology, instruments, and etc." Death nods before snapping his fingers again "finally for my final wish I want a high magical affinity for every subject " Death nods again before snapping his fingers before speaking "All right kiddo that's all now its time for you to go see ya some time soon also do me a favor and hide my hallows those were a mistake to begin with" Jake nods before being sent away to his reincarnation Death lingers as it spoke "So begins the story of Harrison James Pervell Potter "Death chuckles "Not that he knows yet" before disappearing in a dark portal.

So obviously its a first time I have done a HP fic let me know if I should change some parts of the intro or if I rushed it too much.
Another thing is that I want to keep the intro short as I want to write out the next part which I have several ideas for.
