Rosey stormed into Acker's bedroom to find him standing across the room, General Fluffs in his hands. The scene took her by surprise, but she quickly recovered and shut the door behind her.
"Acker I..."he cut her off before she could finish.
"Hold it! General Fluffs and I do not take it to our liking, our being kept in the dark about this identical twin of yours. We demand answers, and we demand them now"he said.

"Yes, you do, and I'll tell you"Rosey said and crossed her hands over her chest.
"Me and Daphne have never really been close sisters, she pulled pranks and did stuff to get me mad. But I loved her, she was my other half, I couldn't hate her, even if I tried. That's how we grew up till we turned twenty, she had gotten enough of our controlling father, she dropped out of college, and ran away. I helped her escape, we did together, but in the middle of escaping and running away. She left me alone, worse than that, she called Dad told him where I was then left me. And now she has some nerve coming back here after everything that happened between us"Rosey said.

"Rosey, I am indeed disheartened that you feel such, but we are neglecting the greater issue at hand here!"Acker said.

"I know, I don't know how she got your spell book, or how she even knew about it, I'll have to find out..."Acker cut her off before she could finish.

"That's far from the matter! She stole a kiss from me! Now she has to suffer the consequences"Acker said sounding serious, but it made Rosey start to smile.
"Do you take my predicament so lightly, I relate my crisis and you turn it away?"he asked, Rosey tried her best to hide a grin.

"Fine, is there a cleansing ceremony she has to conduct?"Rosey teasingly asked. "The only ceremony she has to perform is a nuptial binding ceremony, between us both as that is the only form of rectification"Acker said.

Rosey furrowed her brows, "you want to marry Daphne?"she asked, her countenance had fallen almost immediately.
"I do not want to I am compelled to"he said and stared at the hamster. "The General will understand my plight, it is a thing of duty and one cannot forsake duty"Acker said.

"Acker, sorry to cut off your expectations, but Daphne isn't the marrying type. Or the any type you'll never get to fulfil that duty"Rosey said. 
"You're about to see Rosey, the true power of my determination, I will woo her into this alliance..."
"You won't be wooing anyone Acker! It was just a kiss, it didn't mean anything to you or to her. Lots of people kiss people today, there's literally a movie called the kissing booth. No one needs a reason to kiss anyone"Rosey enlightened him.

"How can such be! A booth, for kissing! Such sin should not be condoned. This time never stops surprising me"Acker said. "Rosey"he called out, she made a hmm sound. "Have you ever...kissed a man for the sake of it?"he asked, mumbled rather. He had his eyes down most of the time, Rosey was taken by surprise by this question.

"Well...I think I have"Rosey said, feeling somewhat shy all of a sudden, "what provoked you to engage in such with a man?"Acker asked, the room seeming tensed and awkward.

"I was not provoked, and I was ten at the time, and he was twelve, he was the son of one of my mother's friends"Rosey said. "You lost your innocence at such a young age?!"he asked almost screaming his head off. Rosey covered his mouth with her hand, her cheeks flushing crimson red.

"People can hear you and no I did not seal the deed"Rosey said, Acker stared at her hand on his mouth, "will you promise not to say anything?"Rosey asked, he nodded positively she slowly lifted her hand from his mouth.

"What stage of your life did you...seal the deed?"he asked and placed General Fluffs in his cage, to rest and eat.
Rosey looked around, pretending Acker was not in the room, but it was hard to avoid the Elephant in the room. 
"Why do you even want to know?"Rosey asked, not willing to talk about that topic.
"I am contemplating whether or not I should pursue the hand of your twin in holy matrimony"Acker said, "Infact, do what you want, am interested in seeing how this goes. But you and me have a lot of shopping to do"Rosey said.

"Why do you tend to refer to this shopping? Is it a brave act or an endeavoring task to prove great strength?"Acker inquired. Rosey face palmed.
"It's an enduring task, which proves your decisiveness and reflects your inner thoughts"Rosey said, grabbing Acker's attention fully.
"Then we must embark on this journey tomorrow! Before the sun rises, we shall conquer this quest"Acker said. "Am not sure malls are open that early"Rosey muttered to herself, walking towards the door.

"Rosey, do you intend to put on a charade that Daphne is non existing?"Acker inquired, Rosey stopped walking and sighed.
"It's complicated"Rosey said and left the room. 
"What is your take on this crisis general? Do we engage and obtain Daphne's hand or...do I need to kiss someone else?"He asked, staring at the hamster as if it could talk back. Then an idea flashed across his mind.

He picked up the spell book, and flipped through some pages, till he landed at a page. He read the page repeatedly, then closed his eyes, a glass fell from the study table. Wind flew in, Acker's lips parted, he mumbled somethings then opened his eyes. They were green, in seconds, everything stopped, his eyes flashed back to their original colour. He took a second to meditate and relax.

"The Fuck!"
"Wait shit! It's like...am saying my mind and words are coming out! Holy...."
Acker's concentration was blocked by the voice, he looked over at the hamster, who was moving around the cage in confusion.
"Oh dude I can talk! And my voice is dauuuumn!"The hamster said, Yes, the hamster was talking, speaking real words it turns out that Acker casted the spell rightly and got the results.

"General? Is that you?"Acker asked, the hamster stopped moving around and stared at Acker, for seconds they stared at each other, Acker started to doubt his sanity.
"Fuck am just messing with you!"The hamster said, Acker almost fell down due to shock, "you okay?"the hamster asked.
Acker nodded, gaining his senses, "I didn't know I could do it, I did it"Acker said under his breath still taking in the shock of his success.

"This was you! With all that Hocus pocus Vudu? All that Abracadabra gimmick you got going on? Oh man I owe you my dinner for this!"The hamster said, still moving around.
"General, there is a crisis, and it needs immediate action"Acker said, sounding serious all of a sudden.
The hamster rested against his cage and said,"shoot!"
"I don't hurt animals"Acker said, "I mean tell me, Jeez! Lighten up man"Fluffs said.
"I....this is an embarrassing situation...I...."Acker placed his hand on his neck, still contemplating the right choice of words.
"Just open your mouth hole and let the words fly out"Fluffs said.
"A...A woman ki... kissed me"he said frankly and a silence followed. The room became silent, too silent.

"Excuse me? Is... is...is that your definition of a crisis! You have a talking hamster in front of you! And you....You think a hot girl is the problem?"Fluffs asked not expecting an answer.

"Is it Rosey? I bet it's Rosey, I see the chemistry you too got going on"Fluffs said, "Rosey?"Acker asked in disbelief.
"Fuck yeah! I just feel bad for missing the kiss"Fluffs said. "it is not her that I shared a kiss with, it is Daphne, her twin"Acker said trying to clear up the confusion.

"There are two of em! You my friend are a lucky bastard!"Fluffs said, "for an animal, you definitely possess a loose tongue"Acker said, "Well I wasn't the one who casted that spell now was I?"Fluffs asked not expecting an answer.

"Then I'll cast another"Acker said, "hold up! You were the one talking about duty and not neglecting your duty, it's YOUR duty and you know it"Fluffs said.

"Rosey will never believe this"he said half smiling and chuckling, till it dawned on him.
"I made Rosey's innocent general a loose tongued tyrant!"Acker said panicked.

A/N: I think this chapter was kinda... I have no words, Rosey and Daphne have this delicate kind of relationship. I hope they can resolve this and make up. Wait! Am the one writing? I totally forgot for a second...lol...

The team and her scavenge for whatever might have survived the horrible outcome of the assumed fight.

Rosey and her team find the plant, though huger than their ecpectates.
But finding the plant was not the only thing that Rosey found.

The man was still adjusting to the bright light in the room.

"I asked you a question!"She repeated.
"Where am I? How did you get here?"he asked.
"I should be asking you that! You're the one I found in a plant!"

"What this? It's just a burger. Here try it"Rosey said and offered it to him.

He sniffed it, and eyed it.
"What do you people put in this...burger?"He asked.
"Just Meat, buns, ketchup, Lettuce..."
"Lettuce!"he said almost yelling, grabbing everyone's attention.







Danny came downstairs silent as usual. Every morning since his father left was the same: I would wake up early, make us breakfast and call him exactly once. We would eat together and, despite my efforts to make a conversation, my son would just shake his head yes or no. Then I would kiss his head goodbye and he would leave to take the bus to school.

"I was thinking of getting another hamster" I said, munching on my toast. "To keep Barney company".

Barney was our tuxie hamster. Ever since Danny was little he wanted a hamster, but his father liked cats better, and I wasn't much into pets. We knew we would have to take care of the pet for him. However, after seeing my boy down and awfully quiet for a few weeks, I decided to adopt a hamster to make our home joyous again.

Barney was actually a girl, but the vet just found it out after me and the hamster were used to the name, so I didn't change it.

I easily learned to love my hamster, and Danny seemed at least a little excited about having a pet of his own, but Barney systematically ignored him. I heard of pets ignoring people but this was insane. It was like he wasn't even there.

So I decided to adopt a second kitten mostly to give Danny a pet who gives a fuck.

He agreed with his head and a half-smile that made my day. Then he finished his pancakes, got up and sheepishly leaned in my direction so I would kiss his forehead.

13 is usually a terrible age, but my Danny is such a good boy. If keeping to himself is his way of coping with a broken family, so be it. I had a happy adolescence and by the same age I was already looting my parents and older brother beer; my boy deserved some peace and quiet.

After Danny left to school, I quickly cleaned up and went to my small office. Barney followed me, like she always did when we were home alone.

We live a pretty average life. My house is not small or old, but it's not beautiful either. It's a boring house for a boring untalkative family. I'm doing fine and making decent money as a ghost-writer, but I usually write about the most tedious topics.

I spent all the morning writing without interruptions, made myself a sandwich, made another for Danny and put it in the fridge, then wrote some more. Around 2:30 pm I decided to take a break for grocery shopping.

I'm not a people person but, when you work home alone every day and the only one living with you hasn't spoken a word in eight months, you feel relieved when a familiar face comes your way.

The face belonged to Gloria, the grocery shop manager. She was a motherly older Latina lady, and found me in the snacks corridor.

"Hi, Diana my honeypie", her voice always sounded like singing, and she was always gleeful.

"Hello, Gloria", I smiled back, holding a pack of cookies, "those are Danny's favorite".

"Diana, sweetie", her smile faltered and her chubby face showed genuine concern. "I want you to know that, if you're not holding on, it's ok. You can seek help. Family therapists are great and I happen to know--"

"I appreciate your concern, Gloria. I really do. I will think about it, okay?"

She smiled again and left to talk to another customer.

I knew Gloria meant well, but I couldn't help but feel invaded. I probably mentioned in the grocery store that my husband moved away back when I was a mess about it, although I don't remember.

Going back home, a street I usually take was closed, so I had to turn in the next one possible. I slowed down to turn on my GPS and then I saw it.

It was a huge variety store, announcing big discounts on camping supplies.

I remembered that teenage boys usually love camping, and figured it could be a nice way to reconnect with my son. Hey, mom can be cool and do boys stuff too.

With the help of a very freckled and gentle salesman, I bought all the basics and went home humming happily. I unloaded the car, took the second sandwich from the fridge and went upstairs. By that time, Danny should already be home.

He was in his room, quietly playing videogames. Gloria was right. Maybe we both should go to a therapist. It's not normal to never speak at his age. Maybe I should ask people if he is like that at school. He never had any friends over, so I'll talk to a teacher next week.

Dammit, this is so obvious. It should have occurred to me sooner. But, honestly, I never was the most attentive mother. His father used to take care of this stuff. I miss him sometimes. They were closer than I'll ever be to Danny.

"Hey, baby, I brought you a sandwich", Danny nodded and I kept on talking "You know, I was thinking we could go to a camping trip this weekend. Then the next week we'll adopt our second hamster".

Danny agreed. His face was indecipherable. I wish I could say he was happy, but I didn't know. I never pressured him to talk, but I couldn't help but sigh and say "I wish you would talk to me again someday".

Little did I know that he would, but I wouldn't like it.

I learned from Google what I should do to set up the tent and make a fire, and then discovered there was a small forest nearby where we could go. It had security cabins in three points so, if someone needed help, they wouldn't be on their own.

I didn't buy a lantern because I knew we had at least three at home. It should be in the unused room, with all the stuff my ex-husband owned but didn't take. I opened the door and found something I didn't expect.

It wasn't any unused room. It was a nursery, all decorated for a baby girl. The crib, the toys, everything was new, but covered in a thick layer of dust.

Am I forgetting something important?

School's out for the holidays which means I've officially completed my first term of 12th grade (which is my last year) at Adelaide. I can't help but breathe a sigh of relief. The past four months have been uneventful and stressful to say the least. A lot of changes have happened in my life, some good, some bad, others confusing but I'm taking things one day at a time. There's still someone out for my blood, I still haven't forgotten about that. The threat is still lingering but after that day, there hasn't been any more dead skunks at my front door and no threatening notes.
I look out of my bedroom window and watch as the snow falls from the heavens, hitting my window sill. As the weather man on CNN predicted, the snow came barrelling in today, much to the delight of our neighbourhood because the kids, including Sophie, are outside playing in the snow and throwing snowballs at each other.
''The joys of being a kid,'' I muse lightly and get out a novel from under my bed. I don't know why I stuff my novels under there like a secret stash, but I do.
''The Perks of Being a Wallflower it is then,'' I say. Paris handed the book to me months ago but I haven't had the time to read it. She said it was good, but the movie didn't do enough justice to the book. I told her I'd be the judge of that as soon as I finish the book and then watch the movie. 
After I was done with Me Before You (btw, I bawled like a baby), I replaced my novels with school textbooks because I have a goal in mind-beat Lee and become valedictorian.
That's two goals but they go hand in hand.
Before I have the chance to open the book, I hear my phone buzz next to me. Picking it up, I tap the message.
''Who the fuck is J.B?'' I wonder. 
J.B: Hey, Princess
Jason?
Mel: Jason Blunt? I type back with a furrow of my brows.
J.B: No, it's the Boogie Man
Mel: You're hilarious (NOT)
J.B: You sure? Because I've been told I'm quite funny.
Mel: Who lied to you?
J.B: Ha ha ha
My lips tug into a smile and I almost do a happy dance on my bed. Jason Blunt is actually texting me!
''Deep breaths,'' I whisper to myself. ''Bad bitches don't get too excited over text messages.''
My phone dings in my hand again and I peer into the screen.
J.B: Wyd? 
Mel: Nothing much. Just about to read a book
J.B: Lame!
Mel: You're lame! Reading would take you far in life.
J.B: Says?
Mel: Albert Einstein, Blunt.
J.B: Lmfao. Burn.
Mel: Wby?
He doesn't respond immediately so I use that as an opportunity to open the first chapter of the book. I read the synopsis on Wikipedia and it's a coming of age, young adult story so it's definitely my type.
''…I am writing to you because she said you listen and understand and didn't try to sleep with that person at that party even though you could have…''
My phone dings for the third time and I tap his message.
''A picture?''
I tap the picture and I instantly laugh. It's a picture of a hamster on a hamster wheel and it looks like it's exercising.
Mel: Is that a hamster?
J.B: Yea. His name is Buzz. You asked wut I was doing so I'm watching my pet hamster do backflips on his wheel.
Mel: Now who's lame?
J.B: Still you, Princess
Mel: Wh'd you call me that?
J.B: What?
Mel: Princess.
J.B: Idk. I've always thought of you as one.
Mel: I'm not a delicate flower. I exude BBE, ya know...lol.
J.B: Not all princesses are Cinderellas or Auroras. I think you're more of a Merida mixed with a healthy dose of Moana
Jason Blunt watches Disney? The bad boy of Adelaide knows about Disney Princesses? Another thing to add to my list of things I know about him.
Mel: You know you've just given me more ammo tease you right? You watch Disney?!
J.B: Shit. Didn't even think about that

I giggle and shake my head. I can never forget that.
Mel: Already forgotten.

Mel: Lol. I'm serious. I've already forgotten that you know all about Merida and Moana
J.B: Ugghh. Blame Ryan's baby sister. She comes over and she's into Disney and shit so we babysit her a lot and unfortunately have to watch these shows with her.
I picture Jason and Ryan watching Brave with a little girl and the image is making me holler. I'm laughing so much, my stomach is hurting.
Mel: That's cute
J.B: If I hear one more Moana song, I'll fkn lose it
Mel: See the line where the sky meets the sea? It calls me. And no one knows how far I'll go…
J.B: Shoot me. You're just as bad as her!

I've been watching Disney since I was a kid. Back then I thought that if you keep on believing, a dream that you wish will come true or whatever Cinderella said but as I got older, I realized that that notion is bogus, ludicrous and misleading. Life is not a Disney movie and all those ideas about Prince charming or finding the perfect guy and living happily ever after in some castle is nothing but horseshit, an idea planted in little girls' head to fuck with them when they get older.
I thought I found my Prince Charming but he ended up working with Maleficent.
I dreamed and wished my father would come back to the family he abandoned but he ended up being stuck in Neverland.
The fairy godmother didn't salagadoola, mechika boola bibidi bobbidi boo my problems away because they're still here.
But I still watch Disney movies, not because I believe in the ideas they're selling but for my personal entertainment.
J.B: On some real shit, I think you're pretty cool, even when you're insulting me.
Mel: I think my ego has already been stroked

''Mel, can you come to the kitchen please? I need your help with something.'' Mum yells from downstairs.

I trudge downstairs and make a left towards the kitchen and see the whole space stacked with gorceries.
''When did you go shopping?'' I ask from the door. It literally looks like she bought the whole grocery store.
''Good afternoon to you too, sweetie.'' she says with a hint of sarcasm. Her knit sweater clings to her body due to the dampness and there's a bit of snow on her dark hair. ''I told you I was going out but you were asleep.'' Her gaze turns to the window. ''It's so cold outside. I wonder how your sister loves this weather.''
''You saw her, yea?''
''She's with Brittany. They're playing snowball or whatever it is kids play these days which is why you are going to help me unpack all these.'' she gestures to the groceries. I pick a bag up and begin putting the edibles in the right place. ''Did you rob Target or something because this is a lot.''
''Very funny,'' she deadpans but I can see a smile on her face. ''I'm just shopping early because I'm off till the 30th and I don't want to leave the house. My goal is to rest and relax.''
''Yea, you need that.''
Mum works very long hours at the hospital and often times when she comes home, usually it's on weekends or if we're lucky a weekday, she always comes back tired and stressed. This is why I don't want to go into the medical field. I get real cranky when I don't get enough sleep and I'm scared of a patient dying in my hands.
''What do you want to do for the holidays?'' she asks as she passes me the lamb chops and meat.
''I don't know.'' I haven't even thought about it too much. My plan was to relax like her and read as many books as possible. Pretty average, I know.
''Should we still go to Biestro like we usually do?'' Every year, on Christmas day, mum, Sophie and I make an annual pilgrimage to this restaurant called Biestro two towns away. It's a three hour drive from Bridgewood, four if we're counting traffic and there usually is traffic since you know, it's the holidays.
It's a buffet type restaurant where you pay thirty dollars and you can literally eat anything you want: pizzas, samosas, curry and rice, you name it, they have it.
''I don't mind. I love Biestro. We should ask Sophie though in case she wants something different.'' Going to Biestro has been a tradition for us ever since dad left and I don't want it to change. In the Jones household, we're not the type to put decorations all over the house or sing Christmas carols by the fire or whatever it is those families do on TV.
We just do Christmas our way.
''Right. Remind me to bring it up at dinner.''
''Ok.''
''There are three tubs of Ben and Jerry's over there,'' she points to the top of the microwave. ''Put it in the freezer quickly so it won't melt.''
Yum.
''I thought you don't like ice-cream?'' I tease
''I don't, but you and your sister do.''
We do.
''I figured I'd stop the clean eating stuff just for the holidays. You both can eat all the junk you like.''
I do a mini happy dance in the kitchen as I meander to the freezer. ''It's just for the holidays,'' she warns. ''After that it's back to asparagus and egg plants.''
''We'll enjoy the luxuries while we can.''

Roselyn walked through the corridor, smiling like an idiot, feeling so happy that she could explode with joy. Andreas asked her out for a real date. She barely could believe it.
She freezes in the middle of the hall, when she remembers she doesn't have a dress. She just had brought a few of her clothes with her. But worse was the fact that she's never had a date before, which made things even more complicated. What was she supposed to do? What could she talk about? She knew nothing about magic, so that was a topic to avoid. She couldn't even talk about herself because he basically already knew all her difficulties, because of the dossier he and the entire council had to examine before admitting her to the school.
In a nutshell, all they had in common, all they could talk about was sex? Roselyn shakes her head. The date was already ruined by her overthinking.
"Why do you look like you've just found out your hamster died?" Karen questioned, staring at Roselyn freed in the middle of the school. "Wait, do you have a hamster? Oh my god, I'm so sorry for your los.."
Roselyn turns around and stares at her bug eyed, "oh. that's serious." Karen continued.
"It is!" Roselyn exclaims walking quickly toward the exit, while Karen tried to keep up with her fast walking. "I have a date. I've never had a date before. In addition, I don't have a dress, I don't know what to do!!" She says freaking out.
"So your hamster didn't die?" She questioned, still puzzled, Roselyn rolls her eyes as a response.
"Alright, I can help you with everything then. I'm free now, let's go shopping and buy a dress!" She shows a cocky wink and confident smile, then she puts her arms on the hips, "But who is your date??"


Roselyn shrugs, trying to ignore that question-
"Tell me or I won't help you!" She half smiled, making Roselyn scoffs.
"But you can't tell anybody." Roselyn replied with a low voice. They reached the garden and were chatting in front of a bench.
Karen nods, eager to know who that mysterious man was.
"Andreas.." Roselyn admits, Karen suddenly puts her hand over her mouth in shock but then smiles "I knew it!"
"He had many girls, and the only one he went out with was Emily. However, before having dates with her, he hanged out with her for years." She noted.
"You think he's playing me?" Rose questioned. slightly concerned after what she just said yet glad because she was feeling somehow special to find out he was paying special attention to her,
"I don't know, but he's not the guy who dates, trust me, I've known in for years and he always leaves the girl when she gets close too much. But maybe he could still have good intentions." she rested his chin in his palm and looked thoughtful.
"You're making me confused!" Roselyn complains.
"Sorry! Look, go for the date and see what happens. You didn't catch feeling already right?"
Roselyn nods no, trying to seem as convincing as possible.
"well don't catch feelings, number one rule. Boys are not worth it, they are just going to break your heart" she states nodding with her head like if she knew exactly what she was talking about.
It was too late for Roselyn not to catch feelings. Every time she was around him she felt like she was safe, like she was standing with an army. She felt like she found the right place, that place where she belonged, near him.
They get in Karen's car so they can drive in the shop that, from Karen's description, it was 'THE shop for all the baddest bitches out there', she said clapping her hands.


When they arrive there, from the outside the shop seemed pretty much normal, but as soon as Roselyn walked in she remains amazed by the sight of such an odd shop. It seemed to come from the future. It had fitting rooms here and there, in which there was what seemed like an electronic device. Clients had to scroll down to check clothes, once they picked one dress they just had to click on it and, somehow, that device would put the dress on clients. She tries to walk in those special rooms, hardly believing that something like that could be possible. When she moves the curtain to walk in, a laser light scan her down, probably to take her measurements and pick the right dress side.
She scrolls down that weird monitor, checking for the right dress. There were dresses of every kind, from short to middle length to long. With every style, from vintage '80'-'90 years to haute couture. It was incredible. That might be the reason why there weren't many clothing shops there, because there was no need for any additional shop if one included at least the amount of 100 shops in the Earth.


"Here it is!" Rose exclaimed enthusiastically.
'Once picked the dress, please spell aloud the code below the selected dress. Thanks for your patience!' she read the reminder that popped out on the desktop. She clears her voice and spell aloud the code.
In a sudden a wind carrying black particles which fly around her body in circular motion slowly wrapping her body from bottom to top, Roselyn spread her arms wide to facilitate the process and in a few seconds she was wearing a beautiful short dress. It was a v neck flared mini skirt dress. Sexy, but still sophisticated. It seemed the perfect, breath-taking dress she was looking for!


She walks out the door to see what Karen thought but as soon as she steps out Karen smiles in awe letting her deduct her approval.
"Bet he's going to propose when he sees you!" She exclaims.
Roselyn giggles at her friend's statement and checks at herself in the mirror admiring how the dress suited her, she takes a twirl and smiles seeing how the skirt swayed and raised twirling.

Roselyn’s life is completely changed when she is taken to Xilentia: a magic school situated in one of the five realms of the Otherworld. A parallel world to Earth in which mystical creatures and magicians are commonplace. 

However, her fate is revealed when the evilest and powerful dragon picked her, such a thing happened only once every thousand years but Pagos never made mistakes and always successfully chosen the person who was evil enough to destroy the whole universe and strong enough to take over humanity.

Will she succeed in being the first good ruler of the whole universe or will she let her evil nature take over fully and side with evil creatures to begin massive destruction?

Andreas is her professor in the school and the one in charge of tutoring her during her journey of learning how to use her powers. Even though sentimental relationships are severely prohibited, they soon fell in love and started having an impossible rocky secret relationship.

When he saw her in action he immediately doubted her real nature but still decided to help her to keep it secret but for how long? 
Will their love be enough strong to resist all the hindrances that will get in the way?

Roselyn walked toward Andreas, but Pagos roared at her having her pause her rush walk to look at her creature puzzled. 
"What else did you tell my dragon?" she asked.

"I told him to kill me before you did. Because my heart couldn't bear the pain of being killed by the one and only girl that it ever was capable of loving."

Uncle Li was stunned for a second, then looked down at Little Celery in surprise. He thought to himself, a little girl came to buy pets on her own? Or did she come with her parents? 
Little Celery was very shy, so she said timidly, "I just come to see the pets, I'm not buying..."
Her voice was particularly low, just liked the buzzing of mosquitoes, and Uncle Li had poor hearing, so he bent down and turned his ears closer to her.
 "What did you say?" 
Little Celery hid even further behind Zhang Zian, and her voice became even lower, "I said, I'm not buying pets today, I'm here to see them."
From their first meeting to present day, Zhang Zian had always thought that Little Celery was a particularly lively and outgoing child, and he even worried that such a personality made her vulnerable. But right now, he could see that Little Celery was only talkative in front of acquaintances, and would remain alert and wary when meeting strangers. 
If it wasn't for the fact that Zhang Zian was running the pet shop left by his parents, and that Little Celery came to their pet shop to play oftentimes, Little Celery would still be wary of Zhang Zian. 
Zhang Zian repeated her answer to Uncle Li, "Uncle Li, she said she came to see the pets, she's not buying them." 
"Oh, I see..." Uncle Li stood up straight and kept murmuring to himself.
He admired Zhang Zian's patience. As known to every businessman, window-shopping customers were the most annoying. If customers were comparing prices of different stores, then the shop owner might still have something to look forward to. But if customers had explicitly said that they were not buying anything, then most shop owners would stop being nice to them and would just kick them out. Imagine that! If a person kept asking how much a kabob cost but never bought anything at his store, he might lose his temper and yell at that person in only a few days. 
Zhang Zian looked around the fruit store and found that the fruit shelves and showcases had been removed. Nothing was left inside the store, and only the sign of the previous fruit store was still hanging. He asked Uncle Li, "Have you moved in already?"
"Yes, we just moved in today! The decoration workers will come over later and help me tidy up. And we will be opening for business two days after," said Uncle Li with great anticipation and satisfaction.
"Where is Aunt Li?"
Uncle Li randomly pointed at a direction in the store, "She's inside sweeping the floor and cleaning the windows. I told her that could wait until after the decorations are done, but she just won't listen to me." 
Zhang Zian nodded but did not say anything. He decided that on the day Uncle Li and Aunt Li's store was officially open for business, he would give them some money as a gift, hoping it would bring them good luck. 
"You can give this to me, I will bring it back to you later." He took the foam insulated box from Uncle Li.
"You don't have to..." Uncle Li intended to decline his offer. But Zhang Zian took the box anyway. 
Zhang Zian put the foam insulated box under his armpit. Little Celery wanted to help him, but he gently declined. He said to Uncle Li, "You must be very busy preparing for the grand opening, so from now on, I will come by to take the box by myself. See you later!" 
Walking behind Zhang Zian, Little Celery kept looking back at the store from time to time, and after a while, she asked, "Brother store manager, who is that grandpa?"
"You have not met him before? You only have breakfast at home?" Zhang Zian walked a regular pace and asked casually. 
"Yes, my mom makes breakfast for me."
"No wonder. How I envy you, Little Celery; you have a family to prepare meals for you. That grandpa and his wife run a breakfast stand, and they sell barbecue at nights." He patted the foam insulated box, "Inside are the barbecue skewers I ordered from him for my picky cats. They have bought that fruit store, and they are going to turn it into a small restaurant." 
Soon, he and Little Celery arrived at his pet shop. He gave the box and the zip-loc bags to Little Celery, and fished out the keys from his pocket to open the shutter door.
She crash closed the shutter door.
"Wow!" Little Celery was shocked, "Brother store manager, what happened to your shop??"
She found that lots of things of the old pet shop were gone, including the glass door and many cats and dogs. 
Zhang Zian explained, "Oh, nothing. I'm going to redecorate it, so I have sent the cats and dogs away to other places temporarily. But your hamster and Lop-Ear rabbit are still here." 
Little Celery rested assured. "Oh, I see. I know how decorating is. When my aunt had her house decorated, the whole family had to rent a house outside." 
"Uh-huh. When the re-decoration is done, the shop will look nicer, and will attract more customers, thus the pets will live more comfortably." Zhang Zian patiently explained to her.
He took the foam insulated box from her. "I'm going to feed the cats, and you can go whisper with your little hamster and Lop-Ear rabbit now." 
"How do you know about my whispering with them?" She bashfully covered her face with her hands. 
"Don't worry, I did not eavesdrop on your conversations. My cats told me that you were whispering." He can see from her nervous look that the things she confided with the little hamster and Lop-Ear rabbit were unknown to her parents. 
He opened the lid of the box, and put the skewers into the food bowls of Fina and Old Time Tea, then went to fetch a new bowl for Cat from the Book. 
"Why is the meat cooked? I told you I want fresh meat!" Snowy Lionet could tell it wasn't the fresh meat that she liked just by smelling it. 
"Don't be so fussy! I will prepare fresh meat for you next time." Zhang Zian said, "Uncle Li is very busy these days, and I need to inform him to prepare fresh meat in advance." 
"I don't care! I only eat fresh meat!" Snowy Lionet lost its temper. 
"Well, we've only got barbecue today. Don't starve yourself. You know what? Fina also eats barbecue." Zhang Zian put Fina's food bowl onto the highest rack of the cat tree. Fina started to devour the meat immediately. 
A layer of tin foil paper was paved at the bottom and the interiors of the foam insulation box, so that the heat could be preserved better, and the meat was not directly exposed to the foam. When being taken out from the box, the meat was still warm but not burning hot, which was the best time to enjoy. 
Snowy Lionet looked up and it could tell that Fina was enjoying the barbecue very much because its tail was lashing jubilantly. 
"Well then... I will also eat chicken, because I am the loyal servant of Queen Fina!" After hesitating for a long time, Snowy Lionet finally made its determination. 
Zhang Zian put its food bowl to its platform on the cat tree, "Enjoy." 
Snowy Lionet sniffed the meat and frowned. Perhaps out of starvation or out of its admiration to Fina, it began to nibble at the meat in small portions. 
Zhang Zian turned around and saw the dumbfounded Little Celery.
He touched his face and looked down at his clothes, but still did not understand why she was so surprised.
"Wow! Brother store manager, were you talking to your pets?" She was standing next to the showcases where the little hamster and Lop-Ear rabbit were residing. Her big eyes were sparkling, as if she had seen something novel and intriguing.

Realizing I started writing my shopping and Christmas list in the wrong notebook, thankfully not where said BF would check what I will be getting him. Busy fortnight of shopping around for everything, and wishing I had spend all this money sooner in November. This whole last minute shopping is mind numbing as it is. 
No wonder that Black Friday is big deal, it's where all the gifts come from to begin with and anyone would afford a LED 44 inch tv as a Christmas gift. Ugh, those whom tut about with having stable family and finance. It gets on my nerves. 
I am being unfair to myself. I should never compare myself to others. For all i know, they have the worst Christmas in history with becoming homeless the next week or something. Now I am just being very negative. I don't feel any better about writing that statement then I did thinking it. 
Writing.  It's a self-assessment of realizing one's flaws, worth and often doesn't mean being asked if I been drinking or something. I find it so patronizing that they assume my young age means i am party goer. It really is the opposite. 
In more recent news between all the Christmas adverts, the shower of dead birds is not what I was expecting to be top of the news stories this morning. I haven't really encountered it myself yet. 
The rumours that is a sort of like rabies but in birds. Maybe more closer to mad cow disease; it hijacks the brain. They say that is could be a disease that is causing tumors and strange limb growths around wings of these birds. 
The public advice is to report it immediately for local wardens to clear up. A free to call number is being slapped on posters everywhere, adding with the slogan of do not touch or save the bird. 
Likely its just another one those that can not transfer humanly without any drastic mutation. Added bonus of the current population being as fit as they are fatty around here.  
Jokes around uni have been 'the second calling of the bird flu' or 'sheep blood'. Poking fun at the very serious country wide spread of the last flu we just came out of the clear of. Thankfully at control levels that means no been publicly registered anymore. 
A interesting study came out about food habits, what people choose to no longer eat due to the recent cries about protesting for disease control testing of market meats. The sudden increase of many whom suddenly became vegan. A price hike for all meat based products, even staples like milk is a rare commodity. 

Things are slowly settling about this strange cases of diseases; but certainly a jump to the moon with it being nearly Christmas. Everything from stores, high streets and online buffer speeds has shown such a special hyper for the festive season. A way to bury heads in and and shake the tail feathers. 

I am looking forwards to talking to everyone around the table. Grandparents cracking old stories about what they did as kids and what little they had. The able cheifs team steaming the 12 part meal and the 4 different after dinner puddings. The youngest with the stocking gifts. the dogs and cats playing with what remains of the wrapping paper over the floor. The after party disaster that often takes 9 weeks to finally erase out of carpets. 
Let us not forget the cherry on top, what drama is the eldest brother of mine going to dragging with him. The 94th girlfriends that wants more for very little. Maybe someone became pregnant while been away. The embarrassment stories to make any potential lover take a runner out of here. Worst has to be my mothers often to straight to the front jokes, as front as it gets with asking adult topics. Always has a story to tell that make any normal blush shades of velvet tomatoes.

Come to think of how long it has been since being in Uni... I miss everyone. 
No matter the outcome of horror that be drenched in drama, I am looking forwards to really seeing them face to face. 
It's way to lonely to be a good girl. 
But I stand by my preambles of self-respect, to not be a sleaze to sleep with every goo goo eyed boy that I met.  Besides, I dislike the idea of drinking until blacked out. A waste of life.

This was originally a delicious box of old scrap personal diaries that follow a stranger. Although as the further into the books I became, I had the urge in seeking the rest of it. 

Given this was a time of machines. I had my luck in finding the right souls. A sort of system has scanned, registered and submitted all data into some hidden storage database. 

Apparently 'any alterations were consult with administrator. All data from corresponding subjects was included among the scanned records, sometimes blended into the narrative. Makes for easier storage and reading flow.' I wasn't the only one who fell into the reading then.

Real Author (Kittah): 

This story is not a typical female lead novel, not a lot of romance but coping in a post apocalypse. Which I don't get why female lead novels have to have a element of romance. It starts out as a diary should but further on, things change. The world around was the one we know of now but this story is later set in the unknown future. At times it can feel like I am trying to write a horror novel, but that's not what it is. This really is just a bumpy journey of a female character. 

I must rewrite my disclaimer which is the author note of chapter one. This seems like it relevant to today with the global pandemic. However the inspiration is my personal experience during the swine flu outbreak in the UK around 2012 or 2013. The majority of this story is prewritten but I have been changing it since putting it online. 

And, yes story does spill over into the author notes. You will understand in the later chapters. It's a writer's choose.
