An unlikely team, Snake and Hamster, put their heads together to escape the pet store on the only day of the year there is no staff; Christmas.

Looking at Little Celery's astonished face, Zhang Zian laughed, "Don't you talk to the little hamster and Mini Lop?"
"Yes, but…" Little Celery was confused. "Adults don't talk to pets…"
Zhang Zian pointed at himlself, "Do I look like a normal adult?"
Little Celery thought about it, "Maybe not."
"That's true. I am a special man. You are a special girl. We don't have to worry about what other people think," Zhang Zian put the skewers back in the lunch box, "Little Celery, this might be too hard for you to comprehend. There are two kinds of people in this world. One follows what other people do and the other stays true to their heart and does not care about what others think."
Little Celery was even more confused.
"It's okay if you don't understand. I am trying to tell you that you don't have to follow what other people do. You should try your best to be yourself and be a good student."
Little Celery thought for a minute and said, "That means I should do what I am doing."
"Yes. What you are doing is already great!"
Zhang Zian knew from their conversation when they walked up to the store that there were a few naughty boys in her class that always caused trouble. She didn't like them.
Zhang Zian couldn't really do anything about it, so he tried his best to encourage her. 
"Okay," Little Celery again went into deep thought and then nodded confusedly, "I see."
"Don't overthink it. Let it be," Zhang Zian knew that she wouldn't understand fully at this age. If she overthinked it, it would only make her unhappy. She was only a little kid. She deserved to be happy. 
"Oh, right, Mr. Manager, when you talk to them, do you think they understand?" Little Celery curiously stared at Snowy Lionet, who was eating the chicken.
"Of course, didn't you see them meow to answer me?" he answered affirmatively. 
"Really?! So, they meow to talk to you?" Amazed, Little Celery's mouth opened into an O-shape. She turned back to the little hamster and Mini Lop, "So do you think Xiao Ling and Ear can understand me?"
"Oh. You named them Xiao Ling and Ear?" Zhang Zian laughed, "I am sure they understand. Hamsters and Mini Lops don't meow, so they can't talk back."
"That's great! I never thought they understood. I thought it was only me talking to myself…" Little Celery was happily surprised. 
Zhang Zian wasn't sure if the hamster and the Mini Lop could understand her, but he was quite sure that they could feel her love. 
"Are they going to turn into a person someday?" Little Celery looked at him with hope. 
Looking into her eyes, Zhang Zian decided to tell a white lie. "Yes, if you keep talking to them, one day they will turn into a person and play games with you,"
"Really? That is great!" Little Celery jumped up and down, cheering. 
Zhang Zian looked at her with a real smile on his face. 
Someday, Little Celery would grow up and find out that there was no Santa Claus and a princess didn't always marry a prince, but she would remember when Mr. Manager told her a joke about animals turning into humans… Childhood was priceless. He wished her to enjoy it as long as possible. 
Little Celery tore open the zip-lock bag, and took out the nuts and dried fruits to feed the hamster and Mini Lop. She said seriously as she fed them, "Slow down. I can get more for you."
When they were chewing with their mouths full of food, she stared at them and said happily, "Xiao Ling, Ear, I haven't seen you in a long time. Did you miss me?"
The hamster and Mini Lop glanced at the source of the voice, then continued chewing on the food. 
"Mr. Manager said you can understand me, right?" Little Celery asked.
Fina, Old Time Tea and Snowy Lionet finished breakfast. Zhang Zian was picking up their bowls. Neither him nor Little Celery was expecting a response from the hamster and the Mini Lop.
However…
"Little Celery, long time no see."
A strange voice appeared all of a sudden.
The voice was soft but low, so you couldn't tell the gender. Zhang Zian was sure he had never heard that voice before. 
He was terrified and almost threw the bowls in his hands thinking that a thief had come in. 
He turned around and found that Little Celery was extremely excited. 
"Brother Manager, you are right. Xiao Ling and Ear are talking to me!" Little Celery was so excited that her cheeks and ears all turned red, "I am not sure who was talking to me, Xiao Ling or Ear?"
Zhang Zian was still scared. Glancing through the store, there was no one in there besides him and Little Celery. He turned to Old Time Tea for help. 
Old Time Tea also looked surprised. Its eyes screened through the store like a radar but found nothing. 
Fina opened up its eyes and stood up from the tall cat tree. It was on top of the store so it could spot the thief as soon as possible. 
Snowy Lionet didn't care and it continued to look at Fina's tail and daydream.
Galaxy also didn't care and continued its game with the kittens. 
Was it… a ghost?
Zhang Zian thought he had made a mistake, but everyone in the store heard the voice. 
Old Time Tea raised a paw and pointed at the direction behind Zhang Zian.
He turned around and looked…
What the f*ck?! It was the b*tchy bird!
Richard was hiding behind the display cabinet of the hamster and Mini Lop, giggling and winking at Zhang Zian.
"I am Xiao Ling. Can't you tell this is my voice? That breaks my heart!" Richard said in the same voice.
"Oh, Xiao Ling. I am sorry I couldn't tell it was your voice," Little Celery apologized to the hamster, who was eating the nuts and dried fruit.
"That's fine. You don't have to apologize. We are friends, right? No apology is needed between friends," Richard continued the show. 
Knowing that they were okay, Zhang Zian relaxed. Old Time Tea kept on watching TV. Fina stared at Richard and laid back down on the cat tree. 
"Yup, we are friends. Good friend. Best friends forever!" Little Celery nodded. 
"So only it is your friend, and I am not?"
A strange, gentle voice that sounded like a girl appeared this time. 
"Oh?" Little Celery was again surprised. 
"It is me, Ear. Don't you call me Ear?"
Little Celery was even more excited. Putting her face against the cage, "Ear, are you talking to me?"
"Of course, am I your friend?"
"Yes, yes, yes! You and Xiao Ling are both my friends!" Little Celery confirmed. 
"Okay. Let me tell you as a friend that you are almost late for school!"
Little Celery realized she had to go!
"Xiao Ling, Ear, Mr. Manager, I am sorry I have to go. I will come see you tomorrow!" She waved in a rush and ran out of the store to go to her school. 
Richard flapped its wings and landed on Zhang Zian's shoulder, "Lolita complex?"
"What the f*ck?! Shut up!" Zhang Zian laughed.
For the first time, he realized Richard's voice was quite useful sometimes.

Ben wakes up in the RV at three in the morning and sees Gwen and Grandpa Max are in a deep sleep. "I think Grandpa Max wakes up at around five, so I have a few hours to myself". A big smile presents itself on Ben's face as he looks at his watch and says, "I wonder what I should do with all this extra time". As he stands up Ben hears.

Ben quickly checks for the notifications and sees.

Ben quietly moves outside of the RV and what he sees is 3 other RVs and a place to use the bathroom all of this is surrounded by thick woods. Looking around to see if anyone else was outside of their vehicles which he deemed unnecessary after looking for a few seconds. Then he proceeded to sneak outside of the rest area and into the woods. Once he stepped one foot inside the woods he received a notification.

Excited with the reward he just got that also answered a question he has been pondering over Ben starts to exercise with vigor. He spends an hour jogging and is starting to lose hope when he received a notification.

He smiles at his stats that are slowly rising feeling satisfaction, but also a little upset about the abilities he has because heat control so far has only let him regulate the temperature around him and he can't even make drastic changes in the temperature but Ben remains hopeful that he can one day improve heat control to the point where his normal form can make fire like when he is Heatblast.
He makes it back to the rest stop and sees Gwen and Grandpa Max. Grandpa Max asks, "where did you go"
Ben says, "I woke up around three and couldn't sleep so I went on a walk what time is now?" Gwen says, "it's five-thirty you shouldn't wander off by yourself dweeb! We should have been gone" your the dweeb Ben shot back. Then the two continue to bicker back and forth as they make their way back to the RV with Grandpa Max trailing behind them with a wry smile on his face.
With everyone inside of the RV now they make their way towards Washington D.C. Completely unaware of what they were on their way into.
Time skip to Washington
"Ooh Grandpa Max can I get that it will complete my sumo wrestlers collection that's all I need." an eager boy shouts with hope and anticipation in a store aisle that is making other shoppers stop to look at the boy that is interrupting them.
"You and Gwen can each get one thing so you should pick more wisely," The elderly man with greying hair said to the two children he has with him.
The girl with orange hair was fine with this and told Ben that they should go off to look for something that they would want.
They swiftly separated from Grandpa Max to look for something that they would enjoy. They run into a tall man with two mechanical horns on his forehead as well as goggles and grey hair he was creeping Gwen and Ben out with the crazy cackle he was doing while looking at the animals in the pets section. As he was about to pick up the hamster Gwen told him to stop laughing like that because he is scaring the, shaking hamster and that he shouldn't touch the pets without the clerk's permission.
The man stops his cackle and looks at Gwen and shouts, "Do you know who I am I am DR. ALOYSIUS AMIMO Brats!" His mechanical horns start glowing and zap the hamster. It quickly starts mutating and growing then Dr. Animo says, "get her my pets" than a giant mutant frog burst into the store from the sewers. Then the monster duo charges at the two. As this is happening Ben receives a quest.

Ben accepts the quest then shouts for Gwen to run and says that he will take care of the two of them and the old man. Gwen flees and the hamster pushes Ben out of the way and he flies into a section with a bunch of clothes and they collapse on top of him. Then a green light shines from underneath all of the clothes and an orange giant alien dog with no eyes and has thick fur comes out. Ben initially felt strange Because he was seeing with sensors. He felt like he was viewing the world in pulses. The new way of seeing made Ben confused initially, but he let his instinct guide him so he can get used to it. He quickly chased after the hamster and Gwen he passed the hamster quickly and made it to Gwen. He picked her up with his mouth and threw her up in the air and caught her on his back. Then he faced towards the now still giant mutant hamster. It's two buck teeth looks like they can tear apart steel he quickly checks out his inventory to see his avatar and gains more confidence for the fight ahead because what he sees is a giant beast with razor-sharp claws and teeth.
While all of this was going on Gwen was shouting, "Ben is that you? We need to get out of here."
Ben snarls at her in response and then the hamster and Ben begin charging at each other with Gwen screaming. Then when Ben and the monster hamster get close to each other Ben dodges to the side causing the hamster to keep going while he moves towards the mutant frog and Dr. Animo. Seeing this Dr. Animo gets worried and turns a bird into a monster with his horns he jumps on top of the bird that became giant with sharp claws and grew horns. And flies out of the store through one of the big windows near the roof shouting curses and how he would take Washington back to prehistoric times. Once he gets a certain distance away the giant hamster that was a mutant turns back into a small hamster, but the frog follows the doctor instead of changing. Ben was about to give chase but his timer starts flashing. So before he runs out of time he names this form Wildmutt, goes to hide, and checks his stats.

He then reverts back to his human form and turns in his quest and he levels up. But before he checks his stats he checks to see if Gwen is ok once she tells him she is he takes her to go check on Grandpa Max. While they were looking for Grandpa Max Ben checks his stats now that he has leveled up again.

The pair finds Granpa Max quickly because he was headed towards them as well. Ben and Gwen begin to explain the situation to Grandpa Max and he takes them out to the RV to follow Dr. Animo's frog. After a few minutes, they see traces of the frog from the cracks it left in the ground every time it landed from a jump. They catch up to it and Gwen quickly finds out the direction its heading is in the museum and she reminds Ben of how Dr. Animo said he would take D.C. back to the prehistoric era.

I saw a Ben 10 fiction that I enjoyed and but it stopped posting pass the second chapter so I decided to make this.

Ben wakes up in Yosemite National Park after wondering off and remembers a meteor crashing down towards him. as ben wakes up he notices that he can see a blue screen that says welcome gamer, but ignoring that for a second he sees the meteor and decides to get closer to it as he does a strange object comes flying onto his wrist......

Danny came downstairs silent as usual. Every morning since his father left was the same: I would wake up early, make us breakfast and call him exactly once. We would eat together and, despite my efforts to make a conversation, my son would just shake his head yes or no. Then I would kiss his head goodbye and he would leave to take the bus to school.

"I was thinking of getting another hamster" I said, munching on my toast. "To keep Barney company".

Barney was our tuxie hamster. Ever since Danny was little he wanted a hamster, but his father liked cats better, and I wasn't much into pets. We knew we would have to take care of the pet for him. However, after seeing my boy down and awfully quiet for a few weeks, I decided to adopt a hamster to make our home joyous again.

Barney was actually a girl, but the vet just found it out after me and the hamster were used to the name, so I didn't change it.

I easily learned to love my hamster, and Danny seemed at least a little excited about having a pet of his own, but Barney systematically ignored him. I heard of pets ignoring people but this was insane. It was like he wasn't even there.

So I decided to adopt a second kitten mostly to give Danny a pet who gives a fuck.

He agreed with his head and a half-smile that made my day. Then he finished his pancakes, got up and sheepishly leaned in my direction so I would kiss his forehead.

13 is usually a terrible age, but my Danny is such a good boy. If keeping to himself is his way of coping with a broken family, so be it. I had a happy adolescence and by the same age I was already looting my parents and older brother beer; my boy deserved some peace and quiet.

After Danny left to school, I quickly cleaned up and went to my small office. Barney followed me, like she always did when we were home alone.

We live a pretty average life. My house is not small or old, but it's not beautiful either. It's a boring house for a boring untalkative family. I'm doing fine and making decent money as a ghost-writer, but I usually write about the most tedious topics.

I spent all the morning writing without interruptions, made myself a sandwich, made another for Danny and put it in the fridge, then wrote some more. Around 2:30 pm I decided to take a break for grocery shopping.

I'm not a people person but, when you work home alone every day and the only one living with you hasn't spoken a word in eight months, you feel relieved when a familiar face comes your way.

The face belonged to Gloria, the grocery shop manager. She was a motherly older Latina lady, and found me in the snacks corridor.

"Hi, Diana my honeypie", her voice always sounded like singing, and she was always gleeful.

"Hello, Gloria", I smiled back, holding a pack of cookies, "those are Danny's favorite".

"Diana, sweetie", her smile faltered and her chubby face showed genuine concern. "I want you to know that, if you're not holding on, it's ok. You can seek help. Family therapists are great and I happen to know--"

"I appreciate your concern, Gloria. I really do. I will think about it, okay?"

She smiled again and left to talk to another customer.

I knew Gloria meant well, but I couldn't help but feel invaded. I probably mentioned in the grocery store that my husband moved away back when I was a mess about it, although I don't remember.

Going back home, a street I usually take was closed, so I had to turn in the next one possible. I slowed down to turn on my GPS and then I saw it.

It was a huge variety store, announcing big discounts on camping supplies.

I remembered that teenage boys usually love camping, and figured it could be a nice way to reconnect with my son. Hey, mom can be cool and do boys stuff too.

With the help of a very freckled and gentle salesman, I bought all the basics and went home humming happily. I unloaded the car, took the second sandwich from the fridge and went upstairs. By that time, Danny should already be home.

He was in his room, quietly playing videogames. Gloria was right. Maybe we both should go to a therapist. It's not normal to never speak at his age. Maybe I should ask people if he is like that at school. He never had any friends over, so I'll talk to a teacher next week.

Dammit, this is so obvious. It should have occurred to me sooner. But, honestly, I never was the most attentive mother. His father used to take care of this stuff. I miss him sometimes. They were closer than I'll ever be to Danny.

"Hey, baby, I brought you a sandwich", Danny nodded and I kept on talking "You know, I was thinking we could go to a camping trip this weekend. Then the next week we'll adopt our second hamster".

Danny agreed. His face was indecipherable. I wish I could say he was happy, but I didn't know. I never pressured him to talk, but I couldn't help but sigh and say "I wish you would talk to me again someday".

Little did I know that he would, but I wouldn't like it.

I learned from Google what I should do to set up the tent and make a fire, and then discovered there was a small forest nearby where we could go. It had security cabins in three points so, if someone needed help, they wouldn't be on their own.

I didn't buy a lantern because I knew we had at least three at home. It should be in the unused room, with all the stuff my ex-husband owned but didn't take. I opened the door and found something I didn't expect.

It wasn't any unused room. It was a nursery, all decorated for a baby girl. The crib, the toys, everything was new, but covered in a thick layer of dust.

Am I forgetting something important?

So he went and went said the hamster named grill but a rock said no he did go to the store then the little car said what is going on hamster answered to it saying little car do not worry as we have work to do but we need to write first

The sun was rising.

Yuudai panted hard.

His body was very tired.

It didn't live upto his expectations.

It had only been a few minutes since he started jogging and there he was, on the verge of collapsing.

'Fuck. So weak. Good thing today's sunday.'

His heart thumped hard and breathing felt painful. He wanted to sleep.

He slowly got up, and tried to go back to his apartment, but he didn't know when or why, he just fell down.

He felt pain yet comfort. He didn't want to move.

Ken Kaneki, a young man. He was the same age as Yuudai. They both were friends. Though they didn't talk to each other much because of the busy schedule after entering university.

They were pursuing different subjects. Ken was studying literature, while Yuudai was a student of physics and mathematics.

The innocent guy was walking towards the nearest book store, but he halted in his tracks as soon as he saw a familiar face.

He pulled out his cell phone and called an ambulance for his unconscious friend, Yuudai.

Yuudai slowly opened his eyes. He still felt weak, albeit a little better than before.

He saw a guy sitting beside him. 

'Who the fuck is this? What the fuck is happening? Where the fuck am I?' Yuudai wondered.

Seeing his friend wake up, Ken spoke up, "Yuudai-kun! Are you okay? How did you faint? Do you feel any pain?" 

"Wha--" Yuudai tried to speak.

"Ahem. Please refrain from shouting." The doctor looked at Ken sternly.

After the latter apologized, the doctor opened his mouth, "Tsukuda-san, you fainted from excessive physical activity, am I correct?"

Yuudai nodded weakly.

"Hmm. You do know about your body condition. If you do not want to end up like your mother, do not exceed your physical limits. It is for your own good. If not for your friend, your condition would be much worse." The doctor looked at the young man.

"Kaneki-san, I'll be taking my leave. Please tell your friend about everything else." The doctor left, leaving the two alone in the room.

'Kaneki? Weird name. Reminds me of Tokyo ghoul. Heh.' 

Both of them remained silent for a few minutes, before Yuudai broke the silence, "Thank you for bringing me to the hospital."

"Ah- No! You don't need to thank me. It was only obvious for me to do so." Kaneki replied.

'Who is this guy anyways? Damn, I still don't know much about the situation. If this guy was a friend of the former Yuudai, I could get more information.'

"Can you please pass me my spectacles?"

"Hm? Your eyesight is becoming worse, Yuudai-kun. You should go out more often without hurting your body." Kaneki made Yuudai wear his spectacles.

'Hn. As the way it looks, he knows a bit about me. He may be an acquaintance.'

Yuudai was about to speak when Kaneki informed, "You are free to leave the hospital after three hours. The doctor prescribed some pills and told you to rest."

"Oh, I understand." Yuudai looked at the ceiling fan.

"Yuudai-kun, how is hime-chan?" Kaneki questioned.

"That hamster? I don't really care about it. It is a waste. I'll probably sell it." 

"Wha--?!" 

'Yes. The old Yuudai had a pet hamster. He loved it too much. He spent almost all of his monthly allowances on the fucking thing. He bought clothes, food, mini houses, pillows, mini playground, all for that hamster. That is the reason he himself lived in a poor condition. Well, that's gonna change now.'

"Well, take care then. You should rest. Call me if you want anything." Kaneki stood up and left Yuudai alone.

'Yuudai's mother died a few years back because of her weak body. I inherited this trait from her. The father is now a philanderer. He became pretty depressed after his wife's death. If the diary is correct, he is on his international tour right now. I will at least live a normal life after selling the damned hamster.'

Yuudai stared at the clock and counted every second. He wanted to get out of the hospital and do some things.

Michael Neilson, a normal person aiming to blend in the monotonous society, gets isekai'd in Tokyo Ghoul as a lame nerd. He didn't get any memories of the nerd. Neither does he have any cheats. Welp, he gotta live on as a Japanese guy named Tsukuda Yuudai.

Alex picked up the fruit. It's like an apple but yellow in color. He can confirm it's not poisonous as the monkeys ate them. So after washing it, he cut a small piece and ate it.
Alex felt refreshing, like drinking a cool beverage on a hot day. Without a second thought, he ate the remaining fruit.
Alex felt all his tiredness disappear, and warm energy flowed through him, covering his whole body.  His body crazily absorbed the energy.
Quickly, the warm energy overflowed, and his whole body became hot.
He had to do something, release the energy that was building up, but there was nothing to do.
In the end, he remembered the High-intensity training his uncle made him do as punishment. He quickly changed into shorts and started working out. He did all kinds of exercises like push-ups, squats, jumping jacks, mountain climbing,.. without any break. After 30minutes of intense workout, his body absorbed the energy and returned to normal. 
 Alex felt strong. This must be the effect of the Yellow fruit. Before eating it, he was exhausted, but now the strange energy from the fruit made him as energetic as a bull. Alex was puzzled at first but soon understood few things.
This magical energy must be the reason why the animals in this world are much stronger, Alex concluded.
Is this the legendary 'Mana' from the video games and movies? If Mana exists in this world, the Night wolves as black as night, the vines as tall as mountains can all be explained.
Alex looked at the remaining fruits and clenched his fist. He had to get strong,  no matter what. The Night wolves alone made him scurry like a rat, and who knows what kind of terrifying beasts are there outside the crater.
Alex looked at his watch. There was still some time before the dark, and he must use this time prudently. He completely changed his previous plan. The new plan was to increase his strength by being as lowkey as possible.
First, he had to store water for bathing. All the sweat from the workouts may attract unwanted attention from the beasts.
Alex searched for soft dirt inside the cave and started digging with the shovel. He made a one-meter hole. He poured all the water he had in it.
He took a napkin, made it wet, and wiped himself. He was willing to waste the water cause the lake was much safer than he expected. So he just had to make few more trips.
Second, he had to gather the yellow fruits and bring some water. He put on the camouflage and the weapons, ready for his next adventure.
Alex set off for the lake again. He smoothly climbed down the vines and carefully went through the previous route. 
On his way, he also checked the traps he set, it was just an hour ago, but he still tried his luck.
To his surprise, there was a catch. He saw a brown hamster, as big as a football, stuck in the trap. He saw that the wooden spikes that he placed at the bottom were of not much use. This big guy's hide was very thick.
Alex picked it up, the hamster struggled and tried to bite him. After being unsuccessful, the hamster showed his fang. This guy used to be cute and cuddly in the previous world, it's still cuddly, but it will bite your neck off if you did. In this world, even a rat cannot be looked down upon. 
Anyway, it's going to be his lunch for tomorrow. Alex tied it up and continued on his trip.
After a trip, he bought enough water for two days, 3 fruits, and a hamster. He tightly tied the hamster in a corner.  
After a small break, he took a bite off the yellow fruit. The familiar warm energy flowed through him. This time he observed the Mana carefully. The Mana was slowly absorbed by the body. The whole process was slow. He can feel the excess energy building up, nowhere to vent. 
The excess Mana was like a ticking time bomb. If the energy was not absorbed soon, it might burst out, and it's not going to be pretty. Without any extra thoughts, he started his high-intensity training.
He ate two fruits before the sunset, training for one hour. He can feel the rise in strength and punched the air in excitement.
Slowly the sun disappeared on the horizon. The crater became deadly silent. 
Alex's excitement did not diminish until he heard a wolf's howl. He quickly cleaned up and got ready for the night. 
Tonight, he wanted to observe the activities of the wolves and gather intelligence about their hunting tactics.
Alex took his binoculars, took a sleeping position at the cave entrance but did not start observing. The Night wolves can only be seen in the heat vision, and he had a limited battery. So, Alex waited patiently for all the wolves to come out. 
After few hours, he heard all kinds of howls echoing in the crater.
Noticing the howls got closer, Alex started the heat vision mode and observed. If anybody were to see in Alex's direction, nothing was visible except for the lenses.
Using the heat vision mode, Alex saw five wolves as big as tigers in the distance. Probably the same ones from yesterday. But this time, instead of stopping, he kept watching and saw a weird scene. 
Behind the five wolves, there were smaller wolves, probably cubs, tiptoeing and sniffing the plants.
The heck!  Alex almost shouted. As he kept watching, it got weirder. The big bad wolves did not hunt any animals, but they watched from a distance as the little ones kept hunting small animals, mainly those poor hamsters.
Alex also checked other areas and only found these wolves. Alex quickly grasped the situation and came to an uncanny judgment.
This is a Daycare for wolf cubs! Nope. It's a Night-care. The whole crater was a Night-care. No wonder he did not hear any animal cries during last night. Only those poor hamsters are the ones sacrificed.
Alex turned his head and saw the tied-up hamster in the corner of the cave.  Alex was probably as strong as the cubs. Alex sighed in disgrace.
All his pride in the new gain strength disappeared. He still had to work hard and get stronger. However, he felt much more relaxed now, knowing that the wolves were not actively hunting inside the crater.
Alex kept watching until the wolves disappeared from his binoculars range, at which point he went to his (grass) bed.

Elder Ancestor Bai exited into the wide streets of the Morality City from the office.
He immediately noticed the difference between the Morality City and the others.
There were three layers of the roads stacked upon each other.
The first layer was for pedestrians, the second layer was for civilian cars, and the third layer was mostly empty with an occasional ambulance speeding through.
It looked wasteful.
'What a waste...' Elder Ancestor Bai shook his head. Recalling his own underground city, he could never achieve this.
The underground city had three layers, and the streets were relatively narrow.
After all, they had to take into account the budget for digging tunnels on which roads can be built, it was not the same as above ground.
If it were not for demon rats working restlessly, no organization on Earth would even think to build a city of that size underground.
He was proud of that fact, but he could not help but sigh as he saw the building of the Morality City.
Differences exist between different beings.
Differences would surely exist between different nations.
It was like China and the USA. The latter was truly large with plenty of resources. While the former had only several decades of out of famine, the latter had been able to feast on their meats from eons prior.
Not only was it the largest developed country, but it was also the largest food exporter.
Too bad, when the Era of Vitality arrived, the USA seemed to have been stalled. However, those fundamentally racist white people would not tolerate the supremacy of races other than theirs to reign for long periods of time.
He continued walking slowly on the road.
Rare arboreal plants were planted on the sides of the road. They gave our wafts of fragrance that invokes a reminiscence to grassy greens. Coupled with a nice weather, anyone who experienced the scenery was calmed.
It was early February when spring officially starts. Most of China was still cold and chilly, and woods were still in their withered yellow state.
The shadows of the green arbors were projected to the road, segmented by the three-layered viaduct into sections.
'Where is the sunlight from?'
He looked up with a slight hint of curiosity.
'There is no sun in the sky...
'But sunlight is coming from above.
'Oh, this is the wonders of an arcane realm. They all look as if they're independent of the outside world, but they're actually closely anchored to outside.
'If the main world is like a tree, this arcane realm would be like the branches extended from it.
'Sunlight and rain from the outside world could enter this realm, what a brilliant design, just like trees could supply their branches with nutrition.
'I'm so jealous of that Bodhisattva. He could easily obtain an entire arcane realm just by being on Vigilante A's nice list, instead of spending twenty years underground toiling away for a tiny reward.
'Differences of treatment does exist among people.'
As he was thinking, Elder Ancestor Bai wandered forward.
A varied number of shops began to appear on the roadside. They were very exquisitely decorated, well-stocked, and merchandise-versatile.
All those who entered or exited the shop front had been having a smile.
That was the normal part, outside was almost the same.
However, as soon as he walked into one of the shops, he realized an irregularity.
There was no one working in the shop. Everything was self-service, and people would choose the things that they want before going to the counter where they pay for their items automatically.
'How could this be? Aren't they worried that people might steal?
'Can it be that everyone in this Morality City are people of moral, like my child had told me, so it was impossible to have thieves?'
He was in deep thoughts when a voice rang.
"Xiaozhi, how could you take things from the shop at your whim? This isn't right."
A boy in a red T-shirt had taken a red Transformers toy and had hidden it under his T-shirt. He followed his mother and was about to leave the store.
Elder Ancestor Bai nodded slightly, 'That's right. With no one around, there would be people who would take things that they want. Adults may be able to control themselves, but kids won't.'
"Mommy, I want that toy."
"You have enough toys at home, you shouldn't get any more." The mother took the Transformers toy out of his hands and set it back on the shelf.
"I want it I want it I want it I want it..." The kid began to cry and whine loudly.
All the bystanders looked curiously but did not interrupt, choosing to continue their grocery-shopping instead.
The mother smiled. She did not help her son up. Turning to the other people, she said, "Don't worry, let him cry for a bit."
Following that, she turned to the boy kindly and said, "Xiaozhi, don't make it hard for uncles and aunties in the store, go to that corner and cry on your own..."
The boy stood up obediently and ran to a corner, sobbing. It looked like he had already formed a habit of that.
The mother stood aside, watching quietly.
Elder Ancestor Bai frowned slightly at the sight of that.
From a tiny incident like this, he could see the difference between the people here and his Greater Rat Clan.
If a rat was disobedient, would it not be okay to just beat it up? Who would have the patience to educate children that way?
He wandered in the store for a bit and noticed the supplies were abundant.
All those that exist in the outside world, exist here. Even payment methods were similar in the sense that they all used e-wallet apps on their mobile phones to pay.
He was familiar with the payment system, as the ones in his own underground city were even more advanced than the humans' here.
Greater Rats were demons with Demonic Energy, and every demon would have a different energy signature. There was a tool that could determine whose that signature belonged to, and in turn, find out the demons' real identities and their bank account.
Occasionally, some bugs may happen. For example, some stronger demons could imitate other demon's energy signature to pay for them with their victims' accounts...
However, that was not a huge issue. Even humans' bank cards could be cloned and stolen, so there was no such thing as perfect security.
At least, they had been able to set up an account for each rat. All the income and expenditure were managed through it, so it was easy to check if there were an abnormal flow of money.
It might be time to release the Greater Rat Clan's currency.
There was a saying, "Using another country's currency is equivalent to paying tax to said country."
Elder Ancestor Bai was listening to the kid crying when a white hamster toy caught his attention.
He gave it a thought and took the toy.
He only realized that he did not bring his mobile phone when he arrived at the self-service counter.
If there were any workers around, he could have paid with a gold piece.
'What now?'
He looked around. Somehow, all the other customers had left except for the woman with the child.
The woman was sharp. As soon as she felt a gaze upon her, she looked up and noticed the short, old man standing hesitantly in front of the counter.
She glanced at her kid before walking over and asked, "Mister, did you forget to bring your phone?"
"Oh, that's right. When you're as old as I am, your memory deteriorates," said Elder Ancestor Bai, nodding, "can you help? I have a tiny gold nugget as my thanks."
As he finished, he retrieved a piece of gold.
"No, no need for that. Anyone could forget anything when going out. When I used to take public transport, I always forget to bring change. Plenty of kind-hearted people helped me back then." The woman saw the hamster toy in his hand and immediately scanned the barcode on it with her own phone.
Following that, she scanned the payment barcode on the counter and completed the transaction quickly.
"Thank you, I guess plenty of good people still exist," Elder Ancestor Bai exhaled.
"Sir, don't you mean, 'I guess good people still exist?' " The mother corrected.
"That's right, that's right. I guess good people still exist." Elder Ancestor Bai smiled and kept his gold piece instead of insisting the mother to keep it, and left the store.
"What an interesting old man... Xiaozhi, stop crying, follow me home, now! If you don't stop crying, I'll break your dog legs!" The kind mother watched as the old man exited and did a quick glance to make sure no one else was around before barking at the kid who was still sobbing in the corner.
"I... I don't want my legs broken..." The little boy stood up and followed behind his mother compliantly.
"That's more like it. Do you think it's easy to raise you? That heartless one holed himself at the construction site day-to-day, he didn't even want to come home..." The appearance of a kind mother was gone, replaced by a moaning, disgruntled lady.
Elder Ancestor Bai who was right outside naturally heard everything.
'That's right. How would kids be so obedient? It's not like I've never looked after children, I've looked after a dozen and more at once... hmph.'
He looked at the hamster toy slightly and threw it into his interspatial ring before moving on to look at the rest of the city.

Ha Eun got up from the sofa, opened the door to her office and told Woo Yeon, in a forceful tone "Get out!"
"Ha Eun…" Woo Yeon said, but she wouldn't listen. 
"We were never in any kind of relationship" she told him, but Woo Yeon couldn't believe her words. He liked her for a long time, and he knew for a fact that she liked him back. 
Woo Yeon scoffs, looking away then looking straight at Ha Eun "You actually expect me to believe that?" he asks her. 
"You want to talk about the past? Fine let's talk!" Ha Eun said loudly "We never went out on a date, we never kissed and in all honesty, the only time a marriage was said out loud was when Mr. Oh and your father were talking about wanting to join their families together. Somehow that conversation hit the news, and everyone thought the marriage was between you and me, but we were never engaged."
"Ha Eun…"
"Don't" she said, raising her hand for him to stop talking "That's enough talking for today. Come back when you're ready to talk business" 
Woo Yeon knew that it was impossible to talk with her when she was angry. She is a very stubborn person. He decided to go or today, but he wasn't going to let things end here. He wanted her to look at him with caring eyes once again. If he had to take Chang Wook out of the picture for her to see him again, then he would do everything in his power to break the two apart. 
He left the office, and Ha Eun closed the door with a loud bang. 
Once outside, Woo Yeon called his secretary "Get me all the information you can on Ha Eun's wedding day, as well as her husband. Something is off about their relationship" 
Woo Yeon's secretary agreed. Once he hung up, he worried about his boss. He knew Woo Yeon liked Ha Eun very much but its been so many years since they last spoke. He was sure that Woo Yeon had moved on, but it appeared he was wrong.
To this day, he still didn't know what exactly happened between the two of them, it was a secret only the two of them carried. 
….
When the day ended, Ha Eun decided to walk over to Chang Wook's department to pick him up and go home together. As she opened the door to her office she saw Chang Wook was about to knock on the door. 
"What are you doing here?" Ha Eun asked him. 
"I came to pick you up" he said, "Let's go home together" Ha Eun smiled at this. They were thinking the same thing.  Chang Wook noticed her smile, he was glad that this small action of his made her happy. 
 In the car, the two of them were silent. It wasn't until Ha Eun noticed that they were taking longer to get home that she realized they weren't headed home in the first place. 
"Where are we going?" Ha Eun asked the driver. 
"I told him to take us somewhere" Chang Wook said. After a while the car stopped in a not so busy street. She looked at the people that were walking by. They all had swimsuits on. She looked at the buildings. All of them were either shops or restaurants.
"Thanks dude" Chang Wook told the driver as he patted him on the shoulder. He got out of the car and reached out his hand towards Ha Eun. 
"Shall we, my lady?" he asked her. Ha Eun scoffed and nodded, taking his hand. Once outside, she could feel a cool breeze. 
"Where are we?" she asked Chang Wook. 
"The beach" he said. Ha Eun looked at him confused. 
"Why?" she asked him. Chang Wook shrugged and took her around the shops. They had some street food and he bought her sandals from one of the tourist stores. 
"You didn't have to buy me sandals" she told him. Chang Wook pointed at her feet. 
"You've been walking in heels all day. Just wear them or I'll worry" he told her. Ha Eun looked down, a grin forming on her face. They sat down in one of the benches outside the store. Chang Wook took this opportunity to take her shoes off for her and place the sandals her bought her on her feet. 
"All set, princess" he said as he looked up at Ha Eun's red face. 
"P…princess? Are we reenacting Cinderella?" Ha Eun asked. Chang Wook chuckled. They continued walking along the street and he noticed something inside a store. He told Ha Eun to wait outside. When he came back out, he had fireworks with him and a bag of snacks. 
The two headed down to the beach and Chang Wook placed the fireworks on the sand while Ha Eun started to eat the snacks. 
He lit all of them and ran back to Ha Eun so they could enjoy the fireworks. Once he sat down next to her the fireworks went off. Although small, Ha Eun couldn't deny they weren't beautiful. She noticed how other people were on the beach and they set off their own fireworks and cheered. 
"Wah…look at those" Chang Wook pointed at a group of people. Ha Eun smiled then stole a glance at Chang Wook. She wished she had his kind of optimism. Everything made him smile, while hardly anything made her smile. She always found a reason why not to…but once she actually spent time with him, she found it easier to smile. 
Today was actually a bad day, yet just being with him made her happy. 
"Oh…I forgot to give you something" Chang Wook turned to look at Ha Eun. She quickly looked away from him. He smiled because he had noticed long ago how she stared at him. She is not subtle at all.
"What did you get me?" she asked him, curious. 
Suddenly he placed on Ha Eun's hand a plush hamster keychain "What's this?" she asked him. 
"A hamster keychain" Chang Wook said, he had a smile on his face "When I saw it I thought you looked just like it" 
Ha Eun got confused by this. Should she be angry that he called her a hamster? She looked at him with her eyebrows furrowed "Please explain" she said. He better give her an acceptable answer before she hits him. 
"Well, hamsters are small, have puffy cheeks that make you want to squeeze and all in all, they are just adorable" Chang Wook smiled "Just like you" Ha Eun widened her eyes, then she quickly looked away from him.
"Thanks" she said. But she kept replaying the word he called her. Adorable. Adorable. Adorable. Adorable.
"Now, are you going to tell me what happened?" Chang Wook asked her. Ha Eun looked back at him. Did he want to know about what happened between her and Woo Yeon today? Is that why he asked her here? Because he knew it ended badly.
"Since the day we went to see your family and met…that guy…you haven't been the same. I wanted to know if you were ready to tell me what happened back then. Whenever 'then' was, I promise to listen to you"
Ha Eun looked at him, her eyes started to water. She looked back down "It's a long story" 
"Then you better get started" Chang Wook said with a smile. Ha Eun looked at him and smiled back. 
"Okay"

Ha Eun is the CEO at OG Group. She is famous for making everything she shows interest in a mega hit in the show-business industry but she's feared by her coworkers because of her stone cold expression and her blunt attitude. Chang Wook is her male secretary. They have worked together for 6 years and Chang Wook can't express how much he hates working for her. When Ha Eun is forced  to choose between giving up her position or getting married, she does what anyone would do...fakes an engagement with her secretary.

Chapter 1: Hollow Attack

This story is going to be a rewrite of canonical events to how things I want them to be so if y'all have any ideas you want added just tell me and I'll see if I can do that.

They say emotions are needed for one to evolve to a better version of yourself or it's emotions that compels someone to overcome ones limits and grow so to say emotions are a highly valued aspect of humans but there are times where humans are forced to seal away their emotions for a variety of reasons.
The most common reason was to never get hurt emotionally or closed off willingly but in rare cases is when humans go through an extremely traumatic experience.
Ichigo Kurosaki was laying their wide eyed and obviously shaking in great fear as he stared upwards towards a menacing mask that was attached to a body of a hamster was glaring downwards staring at boy despite ichigo's head was visible from the body that belonged to Isshin Kurosaki also known to be Ichigo's Father.
"What's this now? Hmmmm!? A child with high spiritual energy?! Haha! You boy is my ticket to be a Vasto Lorde!" The Hamster Monster exclaimed not caring if the boy understood his meaning however it shrieked in pain as it was shot with something causing the hamster to turn around with its glowing slits to narrow dangerously towards the man who intervened.
He was an older man around the age of Isshin but he had light purplish hair, glasses and a neat stylish white suit with a red tie "who are you!?" The Monstrous Mammal shouted until it took note of the sleek but dangerous looking bow in his right hand before connecting the dots "a Quincy!?" It shouts again but more on the fearful side as it primarily dealt with unsuspecting souls and reapers but never a Quincy.
"My name is Ryuken Ishida, Head Doctor of Karakura General Hospital and the non blood brother to the man you've slain. Yes I am a Quincy but I have been out of practice for years so my aim will not be as good back then however don't assume that I'm not good, I can still pop you in between your eyes from my distance" The Man known as Ryuken stated in a matter of fact tone before his eyes moved towards Ichigo who stared back obviously scared out of his mind.
'Do not worry little strawberry, me and Isshin May have differences in the past but the pact we made to protect each other's families had become our vows and I refuse to leave you in this monsters hands' The Man thinks to himself before his eyes returned to the monster who was slowly walking towards him "hmm, your spiritual energy is also quite high. I'm guaranteed to become a Vasto Lorde if I were to eat you as well!" 
Ryu just snorted at this while raising his dangerous bow towards the malevolent creature "don't you know that Quincy and Hollow spiritual energy are toxic to each other? So I welcome you to show me otherwise but until that day...die" Ryuken then pulled back the string of the bow with a glowing blue energy appearing like an arrow then releasing the string while propelling the arrow straight towards the hamster creature.
The energy bolt struck the mask "AHHHHH!" It roared in pain, stumbling backwards slightly gripping its right masked temple that got chipped "YOU BASTARD!!" The Monster Yelled as it's red slitted eyes glared angrily at the Quincy man only to feel even angrier as Ryuken just stood there emotionless "hmm, I guess I overestimated my aim. I guess I should've followed Daddy's Advice and kept up with my training..but nonetheless, so long as I keep hitting the mask then you'll die"
Ryu raised his bow once again though not even using his other hand as blue energy bolts erupted from the handle that surged forward at the hamster which it jumped upwards then flipped back landing in the water, the monster's upper portion of his mask peaked out "I'll be back for my revenge...you and the brat" it said before submerging into the water leaving the spiritually aware humans at the river bank.
Ryuken snorted just as he walked towards Isshin's Dead Body then looking down at the orange haired who stared at the sky wide eyed and unmoving but overall safe in Isshin's dead arms, The Bispectical man slowly fished his right hand into his pocket to produce a phone which he starts going down in his contacts till he reached a phone number labeled 'Masaki' 
Pressing the number is connecting the line until "Hello?" A high pitched and sweet sounding voice answered "Masaki, Isshin is dead" Ryu said bluntly almost breaking the news as swift as ripping off a bandaid but maybe too fast for the Quincy man as he heard an extremely loud "WHAAAAAAAAAT!?" It was so loud that it almost breached his right ear drum even caused the doctor to pull his phone back 'should I have been more subtle? No, she would've reacted the same..'
"WHAT HAPPENED RYU!?" the obviously worried mother and wife shouted into the phone which was as loud as her earlier reaction which kept ryuken to hold the phone away, three seconds past which allowed the Quincy man to pull closer to speak "I was walking to the clinic to take everyone out for a nice dinner with me and Uryu before I saw the Hollow 'Grand Fisher' kill Isshin while defending Little Ichigo, it escaped before I could it"
"....is Ichigo safe Ryuken?" The Kurosaki Wife asked worried for her eldest son's safety which the Quincy man reassured "do not worry Masaki, He's fine, he's safe so long as I'm here. No hollow will go near him" "...thank you, I'll drop Yuzu and Karin at home then I'll come" the phone disconnected in masaki's side prompting ryu to look back down obviously worried on what would happen on the boys mental state "I just prey this doesn't affect Ichigo in a Negative Way..." the Quincy man hoped to himself before kneeling down to place his right hand on ichigo's forehead.
-Years Later-
"E-...Eh...Excuse Me?" A shy like voice spoke up which a man lowered the manga of what seemed like the cover of 'One Punch Man' which exposed the face of an orange haired man who's hair seemed almost as long as a woman's hair but his deep powerful brown eyes told a story of rage, almost staring down the young child who dared to bring his mind out from his Manga Book.
"What." The Orange Head exclaimed deeply but almost sounded annoyed though the tone caused the boy to flinch and at the same time got the child's mother angry "excuse me!? Shouldn't you be nicer to the customers!?" "Considering your dumbass kid is taking away my time on reading manga..no" he exclaimed truthfully as he cared little about the 'Customers' in front of him.
The mother held a visible tick mark then raised her voice "I want the manager!" Though Ichigo raised an eyebrow before he raised the manga in front of his face again as a particular man in a striped green hat that casted a shadow over his eyes, a green coat with black diamond patterns on the bottom then complete with the mens PJ pants and clog shoes entered the room which was audible due to his clogs.
The light blonde man yawned into his right hand while his left which seemed to hold a cane on his wrist rubbed the weariness from his eyes "someone called for me?" The man said looking like he was almost ready to fall right back to sleep on the floor.
"This young man has the audacity to insult my child!" The mother exclaimed very angrily even glaring at the Orange top man while he just focused on the manga he was reading "is that so? And what do you expect me to do about that ma'am? If you're so agitated, you could always go to another shop" The Store Owner exclaimed before taunting the woman even talking with outrageous body language.
"Oh wait! We are the only candy store in Karakura! Unless you know another place that sells cheap and delicious candy lower than the general retail price" He stopped momentarily before opening his fan that he pulled out from his green jacket to cover his mouth "so if you have a problem with our customer support then call 1-800-Suck-My-Balls" the owner told the angry mother even speaking vulgar language in front of a child, not like the man hasn't done before.
The mother looked so angry that she was ready to pop a blood vessel "what is your name sir!" She asked angrily, even taking her son's hand into her own ready to blow this store "Kisuke Urahara, Owner of Urahara Candy Shop. Pleasure to meet you ma'am" 
The woman huffing then stormed out the store with her child close by refusing to buy from a rude store owner leaving Kisuke to chuckle at the woman's retreating form "ahh, this is fun..Ichigo?" Hat n' Clogs commented then called his employee who despite looking like he was ignoring the owner but the blonde store owner knew that Ichigo was listening "while I do express that you find hobby's but I'm still running a business, try and look kinder when dealing with kids alright? How do you expect to be a parent if you look like that?" Urahara exclaimed while taking a jab at Ichigo's insecurity of his parents.
The Candy Man just laughed as he ducked under the One Punch Man manga book only to look serious "I'll try Boss, but I can't guarantee" "that's all I ask kiddo, now get going. You're off the clock now. Got school tomorrow" Kisuke said covering his mouth with his fan watching the orange top get up and grab his school bag before leaving the shop as swift.
The Mysterious Shop Owner just smiled at the young man leaving 'Not sure how you'd feel seeing your only son turning out like this Isshin, but be proud that your boy holds your priorities as a spiritually aware human now if only he could find a girl then we'd be in business! Heheheh-OW!' The Shop Owner schemed then screamed internally as he felt a sandal slap upside then turned to find a dark skinned woman with long purple hair tied in a ponytail glaring at the shop keeper.
"What was that for Yoruichi?" Kisuke exclaimed while puffing out his cheeks childishly at the woman but she just glared back at him "don't think I didn't know what you were thinking Kisuke, I won't have you corrupt my student!" "He's my student too, also as his teacher!-" Kisuke retorted swiftly and almost lectured the brown woman only for Kisuke to get slapped by her sandal once again which sent the man to the floor "NO! NONE OF THAT! SHAME ON YOU!" Yoruichi shouted at the shop owner angrily.
Ichigo is now seen walking down the street with his eyes glued to his book not caring for most things around him though a car speed past him on the road which caused a puddle of water to splash his outfit which was a school standard issue white button shirt with light brown dress pants though students have options to add to there outfit as vanity which differs from person to person.
In Ichigo's case for 'Vanity' would be five pronged cross necklace that the orange top as wrapped around his left wrist extremely tight to the point where it hardly comes off though another 'vanity' was the Japanese Katana that the man had looped under his belt on his left hip but Ichigo was heavily on the fact that he could casually walk around with a sword on his person at all times even somehow managing to keep it without in his school.
Ichigo looked up swiftly as he saw a girl who looked no older than a teen was running with a fearful face before her eyes managed to meet the powerful brown of ichigos which got her to stop almost feeling comforted by him "ROAAAAAARRRRR!" The Loud Shrieking is what pushed the young girl to turn her head in fear towards a terrifying creature which was charging on the road towards them.
It's upper half resembles a muscular man with a pure white hue with a hole on its heart cavity though it's head resembled that of a masked alligator which it's mouth was unhinged ready to chow on the souls but it's speed despite its abnormally large size, it was slower due to the tail lower body that seemed to make up its legs.
Ichigo's Expression did not change as he watched the Hollow charged right at him only for a swift grab of his sword to a wide slash that targeted the alligator's mask with enough power behind the attack to cut it in half, it roared in pain as it reached towards its damaged mask only to disintegrate into nothing.
Slowly resheathing his blade and turned towards the soul of the girl "got a large pool of spirit energy girl" Ichigo said bluntly and straight to the point which got the soul to flinch at the tone but relaxed when the swordsmen kneeled to her while unsheathing his sword "I'm gonna take you to a place where no Hollow will reach you" Orange Top said as he gently bonked the girls forehead.
The girls soul slowly turned into light then disappeared in a form of a black butterfly which flaps away from the orange haired man, Ichigo sighed as he resheathed his sword to start walking away back home while hoping no one would question his late arrival "Why do you not expose that part of you Master? Why choose to put up a rough and vulgar front?" A mysterious voice spoke that seemed that only the orange top could hear.
"What do you mean?" Ichigo asked while instantly figuring out what this 'Voice' was insinuating but decided to play dense in the matter "master, don't play dense with me. I know full well that you already know the point of this conversation" Ichigo groaned abit as he did not like having these conversations with the voice "it's because no one will come to me if I were to act like an Asshole, no one will ask for my help and in turn will try to do there own shit themselves. It's a way to inspire independence to others. That and I don't like people bothering me when I'm reading"
The Voice Merely Snorted at her Master "Asshole" "that's what I aspire to be Megami*" The Orange Haired Man finally spoke the given name of this 'Voice' before the man reached the door of 'Kurosaki' Clinic, Ichigo groaned as the man instantly knew he was late for dinner and that prompted a 'Fight' with Ichigo's Uncle.
Upon opening the door prompting the orange head to duck as a glowing blue sword was shot above him "AHHH, THE FUCK UNCLE RYU!?" The Swordsmen shouted angrily at Ryuken Ishida who stood at the head of the table in the kitchen and holding a dangerous looking bow towards the front door "Now boy, you were late for dinner so I showed you what happened when you were late. And on a related note; when did you start using such brazen language?" 
Ichigo growled before stomping towards the stairs "Fuck Off Old Man!" The orange top exclaimed in anger which did not face the Quincy Man merely watching his nephew leave, He sighed for a moment before sitting down to look at the children.
Uryu who was Ryukens Biological Son was eating a bowl of rice while caring little for his brother in arms, Ryu knew that Uryu and Ichigo loved each other like brothers but one knew to leave the other when things get stressful.
Karin also did not care for what Ichigo had become which caused a wedge to come in between her and her older brother, therefore did not care what mess Ichigo gets himself in especially since it concerns the supernatural.
Yuzu watched her old brother leave with a very worried expression on her face "but...Ichigo-Niis food will get cold!" The youngest said obviously worried for her older brothers nutritional state only to be eased as her gaze looked upwards to Masaki who has an older face since the time at the river, as such faded orange and with a few greys on her bangs "don't worry sweetie, he will come when he's hungry don't let it bother you"
Ichigo opened his door in his casual pace often getting aggravated with his uncle about prying into his personal problems on which Ichigo preferred to bury especially when it concerns spiritual matters before turning towards his desk seeing a sheet of paper with writing on it so he walked over to read what was obviously left for him.
'Dear Master Ichigo,
Me and Yang had left for Hueco Mundo to look for any natural arrancars to join us in our fight against treachery so we will be gone for a few days.

Ichigo snorted at the handwritten letter of comrades, Months ago Ichigo was out hunting for rogue hollows before they could hurt any of the innocent souls nor living humans before finding two malnourished identical twins with deep red and deep blue hair almost close to death, not even attempting to defend themselves from the orange man.
So Ichigo did something that betrayed the front he kept on and nursed the two arrancar girls to good health on which they decided they served him as loyal servants which wasn't necessary for the Swordsman but Hollows tend to be stubborn so the man just agreed as to move the subject behind him so he could focus on other things such as getting angry at his uncle, working for Kisuke and the occasional hollow hunting.
"I hope they return soon, it's just not the same without the constant bickering and side chatter" Ichigo said slowly sitting down at his plain sheeted bed thinking about something "Doku, do you feel that something bad is gonna happen? Like I sense a distant explosion" "...that's the most random thing I heard you say" Doku said as it was true since Ichigo hardly ever thinks in randomness.
"Bah, I must be tired!" Ichigo said as he took out the sword from under his belt before laying in his bed along with the weapon beside him then closing his eyes letting the sandman's sleep spell wash over him
