It was already evening, and Lei Zhao, Yan Mei, and Niu Niu stayed at the hotel near Disneyland and had eaten dinner there. The three were already in the hotel room, Yan Mei and Niu Niu watching TV. 
Lei Zhao was out on the balcony. He was doing some calls for the company and also asking for some updates in the investigation. 
Yan Mei and Niu Niu were on the bed. The little boy was watching a movie while Yan Mei was busy watching Lei Zhao talking to someone on the phone. 
'He looks so focused... who is he talking to?'
"Boo-boo..."
Yan Mei snapped out of her thoughts as Niu Niu got her attention. 
"What is it?"
"I'm getting sleepy..."
Niu Niu rubbed his eyes as he yawned, Yan Mei smiling as she pulled the sheets, tucking Niu Niu in the bed. 
"Then go to sleep. Boo-boo and your uncle will be here and will sleep in a while," she said, Niu Niu sleepily looking at Yan Mei with droopy eyes. 
"Can you tell me a story that you love, Boo-boo?"
"Oh!" 
Hearing this from him, the title of a Filipino author's poem suddenly popped into her mind. It was entitled "Ballad of a Mother's Heart" by Jose La Villa Tierra. 
She had read this before when she had an interest in reading books. She bought a book with a collection of poems. When she read the book, she read the poem by Jose La Villa Tierra, making her love her poem in an instant. 
"Boo-boo?"
Yan Mei smiled as she realized that she was in her thoughts again. 
"I'll tell you about a mother's love. Is that okay?"
Niu Niu nodded, "Anything that Boo-boo tells me, I would love it!"
Yan Mei nodded as she started patting Niu Niu's small body. She then spoke each line of the poem in verbatim. Since she loved the poem, she knew each line at heart. 
"The night was dark, for the moon was young. And the stars were asleep and rare; The clouds were thick, yet Youth went out. To see his Maiden fair."
Niu Niu furrowed his brows, "What does that mean, Boo-boo?"
Yan Mei smiled, "It means that the boy went out to see his girlfriend late at night."
"Oh!"
Yan Mei nodded, then she continued saying the next stanzas of the poem. 
"'Dear One,' he pleaded as he knelt. Before her feet, in tears, 'My love is true; why have you kept me waiting all these years?' The maiden looked at him unmoved, it seemed, and whispered low:
'Persistent Youth, you have to prove by deeds your love is true.'"
Niu Niu smiled as he understood what the poem was saying. 
"Is the girlfriend challenging the youth?"
Yan Mei nodded, "Yes! Smart, Niu Niu!"
Niu Niu giggled as Yan Mei slightly pinched his nose to compliment him. She then continued the narration of the poem, Niu Niu intently listening to her. 
"'There's not a thing I would not do for you, Beloved,' said he. 'Then go,' said she, 'to your mother dear and bring her heart to me.'"
Niu Niu gasped, "Oh! Is the youth going to take her mother's heart?"
Yan Mei put a finger in front of Niu Niu to silence him. She did not answer his question, but she continued telling him the next stanzas of the poem. 
"Without another word, Youth left and went to his mother dear. And opened her breast and took her heart. He did not shed a tear! Then back to his Maiden fair he ran, unmindful of the rain; but his feet slipped and he fell down, and loud he groaned with pain!"
"Hmph!" Niu Niu harrumphed, "It's his karma! How could he take his mother's heart?"
Giggling, Yan Mei hushed him once more, continuing the next part of the poem. 
"Still in his hand, he held the prize. That would win his Maiden's hand; And he thought of his mother dear, so kind, so sweet, so fond. And then he heard a voice, not from his lips but all apart: 'Get up,' it said; 'Were you hurt, Child?' It was his mother's heart."
"Wow!" Niu Niu furrowed his brows when Yan Mei had finished telling him the poem. "Even though the son took her heart, the mother still cared for him!"
"Yes," Yan Mei agreed, continuing to pat Niu Niu's body to help him sleep. "Now, Niu Niu, let this be a lesson and a reminder. Respect your parents and your elders. Always remember that no one can beat the love of a mother who loves her child."
Niu Niu yawned, slowly nodding at Yan Mei who continued to pat his sides. 
"I will always remember that, Boo-boo," he sleepily replied, his eyes closing. Yan Mei giggled as she found it cute for Niu Niu to be so active, then suddenly quickly falling asleep. 
"Good night and sweet dreams, Niu Niu," Yan Mei whispered as she kissed his forehead, Yan Mei slowly sitting up as she watched him for a few seconds. 
He just asked her to tell her a story, but she did not expect to share the poem that she loved the most about a mother's love. 
She somehow felt melancholic, but the moment she felt arms wrapping around her waist, she was surprised to see Lei Zhao giving her a back hug. 
"He fell asleep?" Lei Zhao asked as he rested his chin on her shoulder. Yan Mei nodded as she slowly turned her body to face him, her arms wrapped around his neck. 
"Want to hang out on the balcony for a while before we go to bed, hmm?"
Lei Zhao chuckled as he nodded. He gave Yan Mei a kiss on the lips, Yan Mei smiling at him afterward as they locked eyes with each other. 
"You never cease to amaze me, Lei Zhao," she complimented him, Lei Zhao grinning ear to ear as he liked her compliment. 
"I would always continue to amaze you, Yan Mei," he said, now holding her hand. "Want some hot drink before going to bed?"
"Mm," Yan Mei nodded, "On the balcony. Order one small cake, too, please?"
Lei Zhao and Yan Mei then walked to the balcony as Lei Zhao called for room service. The two of them finally had some time alone after having fun with the little Niu Niu.

I wake up to bright sunlight entering my room. Why has my alarm not gone off yet? I take a look at my clock and see it’s thirty minutes past six. 

I can sleep for some more. I doze off again. 

'Don't you think it’s quite unusual to be this bright at six thirty in the morning' i hear winter's sleepy voice. 

'It's too early to hear your voice. Let me sleep' i cover my ears with my pillow in hopes that she will go away. 

'I can say the same about you but i think the clock is not working because the sun is too bright to be this early in the morning' 

'Fine stop nagging i will check my phone' i roll over my bed and accidentally fall. 

I open my phone to see that the time is 8:10. I rub my eyes properly to see if i am mistaken. But the time still shows 8:10. School starts at 8. 

"AHHHHH i am terribly late" i scream trying to stand up. My legs get tangled in my blanket and i fall again. 

"Could this day get any worse?" Turns out i was wrong. This day got worse. My body wash got over. I didn't iron my outfit. I fell two more times. 

"Keith i will kill you later" I say to my brother who was grinning at me and happily eating his cereal. 

"Don't you want any breakfast? Skipping breakfast is bad for health baby sis" he teases me. 

"Fudge you" i answer back. I reach school within five minutes. 

"Kiara please give these books to your english teacher" my math teacher stops my running. I jog in the same place while receiving the books. I start running again. 

"KIARA" i turn and find luke running up to me. He places a piece of toast in my mouth. 

"You will get sick if you don't eat breakfast" I am glad to have a friend like him. NOW is not the time kiara. I thank luke and head to class. I push open the door with my leg. 

"I am glad you could join us Ms. Tennyson" my english teacher says sarcastically. 

"I would like to say you are fashionably late but given your outfit i wouldn’t dare" she tells me. The whole class snickers. I am wearing an oversized tee and legging. My hair is up in a messy ponytail. 

"I'm sowwy maam. Ts wnt hapn agin" i say with the toast still in my mouth. She raises her eyebrow. I give her the books and take the toast from my mouth. 

"I am sorry mam. My brother switched off my alarm clock. This won't happen again" i apologize to her. 

"You can write a poem about being late since you are named after a poet after all Ms. Tennyson" she smiles sweetly. I nod and take a seat beside kate. 

"Don't say a word" i warn her and she laughs. 

"I hate him. I hate him. Why? why is he my brother?" i vent to andrew eating lunch. He chuckles. 

"But he did call me to give you breakfast" luke informs me. 

"Where did you get that toast from and how did you leave class?" i ask him. 

"A magician never reveals his secret kiara" he smirks. 

"Yeah, a magician who was chasing the chicken this morning for his sock" kate intervenes. We all chuckle. 

“Chicken?” I question. 

“Don’t ask” kate shakes her head. 

"By the way where is reed i haven't seen him since lunch started?" i ask andrew. 

"He said he had to do something important" he says not meeting my eyes. School comes to an end and I go home ready to kill my brother. 

"Don't blame me if the poem is not good" keith tells me. I chased him around the house after i reached home and now i am making him write the poem. 

"It's your fault that i woke up late" I scold him and he grins. I hit him on the head. 

"Finish the poem. I need it before i go to sleep" i warn him and leave his room. 

An hour later reed comes to my room all dresses up. 

"What are you all dressed up for?" i question him. 

"You also get ready. I am taking you for dinner" he says kissing me. I smile and get ready. I wear a white off-shoulder top and pair it with a black jean skirt. I tie my hair in a half pony and meet reed downstairs. 

"You look beautiful as always" he compliments pecking me. I thank him and he takes me to the same place where we had our first date. 

It was again beautifully decorated. We start eating and enjoy our date. Reed plays some music and he asks me to dance with him. 

We dance for some time and i look to see all my friends and andrew and adrian wearing similar white t-shirts. 

They all turn their backs to me. On the back of their shirt were different letters. 

PROM? Adrian had a question mark and andrew had a big heart on his t-shirt. 

"Will you go to prom with me Ms. Kiara Tennyson" i see reed with a bouquet. 

"Yes" i say smiling wildly. All my friend's cheer and reed kisses me after handing me the bouquet. 

"Took you long enough" 

"Since it's your first prom i wanted to make it special for you and ask you in an extravagant way. But in the end, i couldn't come up with anything else" he smiles apologetically. 

"This is plenty enough reed. I am happy that you asked me. You could have just given a rose and asked me and i would have happily said yes" i reassure him.

"You guys can kiss later. I need food" noah says pulling me along with him. I chuckle.

"Why did you sleep in the living room, dear?" Gladios asked, worry evident in his voice. "It is cold out! You even had Dharvey with you," he added, making Angeal speak. 
"Dharvey was still drunk so she wanted to feel a little cooler outside. She slept there so I followed her," Angeal lied, Dharvey slightly narrowing her eyes at her.

As they ate their bread and drank their coffees in silence, Devin sighed getting their attention as he put his mug on the table, his eyes serious as he looked at the Arvid, Frey, Angeal, and Dharvey, as if wanting to scold them. 
"The four of you were so noisy last night. If the four of you didn't stop your bickering at the last minute, I was about to come out and throw you to the sea."

The four who were outside last night were flabbergasted when they heard Devin say that.

"Bickering?" The old man looked at the four. Arvid was seated beside Frey, and in front of them were Dharvey and Angeal, which explains why the atmosphere was heavy. "What is this bickering that I'm hearing?"
Angeal narrowed her eyes at Devin who was sitting nonchalantly from across the table as he sipped his coffee. She looked at her grandfather, faked a smile, then answered him. 
"Oh, it's a normal fight, Pops! Nothing serious!"
"A normal fight where it's normal to call one a slut?"
'Gah!'
"Angeal and Frey... what is this preposterous disgusting word?"
"Nothing!" 
Frey and Angeal shot Devin a deadly look. The Soul Eater just shrugged his shoulders, not caring about anything and he can do so since he knows that the two can't go against him because he sponsored their trip to the private island. 
'Dare go against me... you know what will happen,' he thought to himself as a smirk appeared on his face, hidden by his mug. 
'Why is he doing this intentionally,' Angeal thought, her fists below the table tightening. 
Ivar understood why Devin was doing this on purpose. Devin's hearing is quite sensitive so he could hear even the tapping of a pen from a different room! If they were shouting last night and it was quite near the villa, he could hear from where he is.
Meaning, his sleep was disturbed... that's why he's doing this intentionally. 
"Levin," Devin called his brother's attention, making him look at his brother. 
"Yes?"
"Do you know some poems about friendship?"
Angeal and Frey coughed on their drinks, making them glare at the Soul Eater from the corner of their eye. 
'You're doing this on purpose!'

"Oh?" Devin leaned his back on the chair he was sitting on. "Do share."
Seeing their master this way, and now understanding that there was an argument that had happened between Angeal and Frey, everyone in the table, except for Levin who was telling the poem, grew silent. 
Now they know that Devin is really doing this on purpose...

Hearing Dharvey's answer, Devin's eyes now wandered off and landed on Martha, making her heart jump in fear for a second. 
"Now, Martha... you've been reading books for as long as I can remember! Care to share to us a poem about friendship that you know?"
She blinked her eyes a few times. The dining table was still quiet as ever, Devin's voice only heard. 
"Well, yes," Martha answered. "A Poison Tree by William Blake," she added, Devin gesturing for her to begin to share and so she did.

But the Soul Eater ignored him, and continued talking. 
"But my peace last night was disturbed by this useless banter!" Devin banged his fist on the dining table, surprising everyone on their seats. "I was about to go out and punish the four of you but you guys were lucky to have stopped before I arrived, but alas! I only had a few hours of sleep!"
Almost everyone held their breaths due to fear. Only Levin who was beside his angry brother was calm as he continued to rant so early in the morning. The four who were outside were especially silent, making Arlo steal glances at them, feeling left out. 
'Was I too drunk last night that I didn't know what happened between the four? Was the fight so serious?'
"We came here on my island with the thought of having fun." He then stood up, looked at everyone as the people around the table, except for Levin, bow down their heads as they listened, "Now if the tension is still this bad and if people continue to disturb my peace, I might leave you in this island forever and you may never come home!"
When Devin had walked out from the dining table, everyone, except for Levin, sighed in relief as Ivar, Gwen, and Dharvey, thought to themselves of abandoning their responsibilities, having the same thought in mind: 
'Can I agitate his peace so I can stay in this island forever?'
"Ah," Levin reacted, getting everyone's attention. "It is our last day today. If he sees this getting worse, who knows what he might do and say," he added, making Angeal and Frey look at their untouched bread, feeling embarrassed.
"He's right, though," Edwin said. "We came here to enjoy. What's happening with kids suddenly fighting in this beautiful island," he added, making Angeal and Frey pout like children being scolded. 
"What happened last night?" Arlo whispered to Dharvey, making her sigh exasperatedly as she remembered what had happened last night. 
"Oh, I wish I was you last night," Dharvey only said, making Arlo cock his head to the side in curiosity. 
No longer bearing the heavy atmosphere around them and the attention given to them, Angeal abruptly stood up, getting everyone's attention. 
"I'm going for a walk," she flatly said, leaving everyone behind in the dining room.
"I'll be inside the room," Frey said and stood up as well as she started heading to the girls' room, everyone's eyes now on Ivar as if they're looking for some answers.
"What now? This seems to be serious," Gwen commented, making Devin's personal servant sigh. 
"We push through with the last agenda for today. For now, we need to give each other time. As angry Devin may be, we have to respect that those two are angry at each other and that they find the difficulty to make up," he answered, making the others nod in agreement. 
Arvid on the other hand, worried so much. He actually couldn't sleep a wink last night as he worried about their friendship! 
He wished that they could go back to when they were children, wherein they couldn't feel this sort of feelings that made things complicated for them.


"Devin, do you love me?"

Hearing her question that had snapped him out of his thoughts, the Soul Eater opened his eyes slowly to meet her blue eyes once more. He smiled foolishly as his right hand reached out to her face, his thumb caressing her bottom lip.

"Is that a question you dare ask your husband?"

Angeal pouted like a child. 

"Tell me you love me... or I’ll cry."

Devin chuckled, making Angeal pout more as she narrowed her eyes at him. When Devin ceased his jovial laughter, he didn’t answer her question. Instead, he bent down as he pulled her closer to him, his lips smoothly landing on hers to give her a loving kiss. 

’I love you, Angeal. Before I even knew it, my heart yearned for you.’

"I HAVE GOT A GREAT IDEA!" 

Once again Sean has entered almost late screaming about another hit game he has come up with for us. What'll it be this time? Chess? Some sort of card game? Maybe something involving physical movement and getting tied up in a knot. Perhaps we plan to summon some sort of demon and serve him for the rest of our lives. Maybe we need to collect six stones? The possibilities are endless.

"Let's have a competition!"

"Say what it is first, then we can say if we are in or not."

"Writing competition!" 

A writing competition? That just sounds like a way to make this any more confusing than it already is. Writing inside writing, talk about meta.

"Sure." It's only writing, how hard can it be.

"I'm also in. I already know what I shall write about." Ethan seemed pumped and ready to go. Hopefully, he loses. Not to be harsh but I hope I win this.

"Are we going to have a theme?" I asked. I want us to all be on equal footing.

"Nope, Go for whatever you want. As long as it is less than 500 words it is ok. Let's say, we have 10 minutes and then we read them all out loud."

Got it, Seemed fair. I'm pumped for once. Let's do this! Except. What do I write about.

Time went by so quickly. They were both writing for the whole 10 minutes, crossing out tons of lines whilst I sat in my seat thinking for the whole time. I guess I'll have to improvise, once I hear both of their stories I'll think of something.

"Ok, who wants to go first?" Ethan asked.

"I shall as it was my idea." Sean was confident as usual. I hope it is bad.

"I call it, The Little Boy who Wished."
What a great title. I didn't know we needed a title. I better come up with something.

"One day, there was a young child. He sat at home every day whilst his mother cleaned and his dad worked. He always dreamed of being something bigger but he never knew what. The boy always enjoyed watching TV and letting his imagination run wild. He would often get bullied by the kids at school for standing out and being too active, but he just wanted to join in with the rest. One day he comes home to his find his mother laying on the floor passed out. The boy runs up to her, screaming and crying, unsure of what to do. The mother tells the boy not to worry. As everything will be ok. In her last breath, she tells the boy that she wishes for him to grow up and become a footballer. The boy shocked that his mother had just died in front of him takes her advice and becomes a footballer. The end!"

What a touching story. I'm not sure I fully understood it but Ethan is crying so he clearly understood something.

"Ok." Ethan said wiping away the tears. "I shall go next."
"Hehe. I'm a little nervous." Ethan's face was annoying me. He hadn't even started reading but he already looked as if he had won. Whatever he was about to read is probably going to be cringy.

"I call it, Forbidden Love."

Ok, this is going to be stupid.

"A boy lived in isolation by a dock.
Before him, appeared a goddess, unlike anything he had ever seen.
She stumbled along in rough clothes and socks.
Wanting to explore a place she had never been.

The boy approached her with a smile.
Conversation started and laughter shortly followed.
They spent some time together to make it worthwhile.
But she had to depart and the boy was now hollowed.

He watched from afar looking at a pearl.
Who smiled brighter than yesterday, he knew it was true.

He left eventually to which he thought was smart.
He had watched for hours, his heart felt torn.
He couldn't understand the feeling inside his heart.
But by the end of it, he wished he had never been born.

I-I don't know what to say. Compared to Sean, this is something else. not only did he decide to do a poem but both me and Sean are in tears. I was expecting something funny that I could insult him with but now I'm choking on my tears. The whole class was listening to him and gave him a standing ovation. The teacher was ready to resign and give her job to Ethan as he was clearly the man for the job.

"Owen, you are last."

How can I compete with that? I should have gone first. If I had known Ethan was doing a poem I would have gone first or at least made Ethan go last. Now anything I do will suck in comparison. 

"Ok. I call it, I Regret Everything (and should have gone last)."

"Well, this is going to be depressing." Ethan whispered to Sean.

"Shush. I can hear you. I'm trying to read my story."

"Sorry, Sorry. go ahead."

"Thank you.

One day there was a child who was abandoned by his loved ones. He survived on his own for many years. He made himself breakfast. Went to school. Studied. Everything he did by himself.
To his class, he was something perfect. He was seen as an inspiration who everyone should look up to. 
But on the inside that isn't true. Every night the child stays up till 4AM wishing he would fall asleep. Wishing the pressure would leave him. 
As school exams approached he kept up his act. He worked his hardest and made sure no one worried about him. But back at home, he was studying for hours. Overworking himself every night just to make sure he passed.
He cries himself to sleep from the stress that had taken over him. Entering the only place he felt safe; inside his dreams.
He wished to sleep every night and live life easier than his own. He wanted to be someone better and greater and to live in a more interesting place. He found himself sleeping in on the weekends to escape his life which quickly turned into him sleeping in on school nights.
He worked nonstop until the sun rose and slept for 12 hours skipping lessons he once adored. Just to escape this world. The Exams came and he showed up on time. Having not slept the night before his mind wanders. He continues the stories he created in his head, ones of where he is a superhero, a life better than his own.
The results came out and his scores had dropped. The teachers and students worried but there was nothing they could do. There was nothing he could do. He wanted to live a better life. But he didn't realise that this was the life he would miss."

"Well. Ok then. That's depressing." 

"Sorry. I didn't know what to write so I kinda just wrote whatever popped into my head."

"Well, one suggestion. Don't ever think again. Just don't. Keep your thoughts to yourself and don't think again, please?"

What was wrong with him? His love poem was just as sad. He isn't falling anyone we all know who his poem was about.

"So who won?"

They were all pretty good. I liked Sean's surprise plot twist and suddenly killing off the mother character but Ethan's poem got some emotions out of me and the class. Not to be biased but mine was clearly something else. If I don't win then this vote was rigged.

"Ok. Let's write our votes down and see who wins."

I think I know who I'll vote for.

"Don't vote for yourself though. That would be cheating and make you look like a fool."

We all finished writing and were ready to turn over and reveal.

"On 3! 1...2...3"

We turned the paper and I immediately noticed that Sean had voted for Ethan, just like me.
Ethan had voted for Sean. I got zero votes.

"Hell Yeah! I won! You LOSERS! Get destroyed! I am the king at writing! You all Suck!"

He only won because he cheated and wrote a poem. I should have written a poem. If only I had the experience he had. If only my chances at love were as slim as his It would have been perfect and won.

"Hey, I bet you are thinking something rude about me just now." 

Damn it! He even knew that I just insulted him! What has the world come to.

"Don't worry, Owen. I liked your story."

"R-really?" Sean was the light of hope for me. I knew I could always count on him to be there for me. 
"What was your favourite part?" I asked.

"Errrr… Well… You know… The part… About the… cat?"

"YOU DON'T EVEN REMEMBER!" 

"I remember!" Some random dude in our class shouted across the room.

Great, my story was only remembered by minor background characters. What an awful existence I live.

"Well, your story was just depressing. Why would anyone want to vote for something so depressing."

"Right! Ok. Let's have a class vote. They were all listening so let's let everyone vote! It's only fair."

"Fine, but stop complaining when you lose."

We re-read all the stories to the class and sometime later they all finished voting. The teacher was counting up all the votes and wrote them all down on the board in front.

"HECK YEAH! 16 VOTES! STILL FIRST LOSERS! SUCK IT!"

His poem got 16 votes? What? I-i... I don't know what to say.

"I'll take 9 votes."

Sean got 9 votes. He still came second. Which means. I'm still last.
how many votes did I get? Was it close?

School can either be the best time of your life or the worst. Either you are going to spend it being super popular and talk to tons of good looking people, or you will just be stuck at the bottom of the barrel with everyone else.

The last few years of your school experience are the most important, who knows what will happen. Will you find love? Will you fight your friends? "You look so adorable Maya." said Zach and hugged me again. And as Zach hugged me Noah gave me a weird look. 

"Even you look dam nice Zach." I said. 

"Well come with me for a second." Noah pulled my hand. 

"What Noah?" I said. 

"Just come with me." he said. 

"I'll be back guys." I said. 

"What's up with them?" Zach asked. 

"Just a new couple sought of things." said Anna. 

Noah bought me out of the house and my whole body shivered as it was too cold and I wasn't even wearing a full dress. 

"Why did you bring me out Noah? It's so freaking cold." 

"Because I wanted to." 

"Let's go inside please, I'm really cold." 

"Wait a sec." 

He took out a little box from his pocket and he opened it, there a ring which was way too beautiful and it was quite familiar. 

"Noah I can't take it. I remember this ring, I saved it in my shopping cart but I didn't bought it as it was way more expensive than the iPhone." 

"But you like it right?" 

"I love it but I really can't it's just too expensive." 

"Just give me your hand." 

He takes my hand slides the ring into my finger. It was so pretty I went up on my toes and kissed Noah. 

"Thanks a lot for this Noah. I didn't even got you anything that great." 

"What about the fitbit. And of course I got you yourself as my Christmas gift just take this ring as my commitment." 

"Well you already have it." I said and he kissed me again. 

"I think we need to get inside. Your body is chilled out." 

"Yeah. My skins feeling numb." 

We went inside and everyone was sitting together and talking as usual. 

"Where were you guys?" asked Maverick. 

"We were just outside." I said. 

"That ring in your hand is so pretty. When did you bought it because you never showed it to me?" asked Anna. 

"Well Noah just gave it to me." I blushed. 

"Aww.. That's so sweet of him. You know both of you are meant to be together like just look at your faces, I've never seen both of them so happy ." said Anna. 

"I think now we all should go cut the cake and have a Christmas dinner." said Steve. 

We all sang the Christmas song and cutted the cake. We all had the dinner and it was cooked really well and I was really proud of both my boyfriend and one of my best friend. 

"Guys both of you have done a great job. All of it is really delicious." I said. 

"Well thanks a lot." said Steve. 

Noah just looked at me and smiled. He was holding one of my hand and he just pressed it hard and I know that he knows that I love whatever he did. 

I was eating the turkey and I couldn't cut it because it's not really possible with one hand. I tried to free my hand from his grip but he didn't let me. 

"Noah I'm hungry. Leave my hand please." I whispered to him. 

"Well I'll cut it for you." he smirked. 

"It's not funny." I chuckled. 

"Then why are you laughing." he said and left my hand. 

"Well Anna what's next?" said Amelia. 

"So guys I really thought a lot, like what should we play that we can have fun but then I thought that we should do something that it will make our Christmas even more better. So as we all have a lot of things that we often feel like that we want the other one to know but we never say it so we're write it anonymously but we're gonna pick up the chits and we'll only write for the person whose name we've got." Anna explained all of it and we all were quite eager to do it as we've heard of it but we've never done it so it's gonna be interesting. 

We all picked up our chits I got Amelia's name and I don't know about others. 

I wrote about our friendship and the hurdles we had but in the end we are still standing by each other. I wrote all the positive things because as it is I've already overcome from everything that happened between us and now I'm thankful that it happened as I've got Noah. 

So after we all were done I got the letter that someone wrote. It was not a paragraph or something like that but it was a poem and it was beautiful. I said: 

Oh, the comfort 

the inexpressible comfort of feelings 

safe with a person; 

Having neither to weigh thoughts nor 

Measure words, 

But to pour them all out, 

Just as they are, 

Chaff and grain together, 

Knowing that a faithful hand will take 

And shift them,

The poem was beautiful and I folded the paper and kept it at the back of my phone cover. And the only person who could write this was Noah. 

After that we all danced a lot like a lot. I had never danced so much and we all enjoyed a lot. It was one at midnight and we all were really tired. 

"Guys I'm going to sleep now I'm really tired." said Maverick. 

"Yeah me too." said Amelia. 

"Actually we all are tired, so we should sleep." said Steve. 

We all went to our rooms and literally just slept. I didn't even changed my clothes and slept before Noah even came back. 

But it was the best Christmas I've ever had. I had my best friends, my brother and most importantly my boyfriend who's more like a blessing to me. He's the best thing that had happened to me till now. 

The next morning when I woke up, my legs were hurting a lot and I couldn't even get up. I danced so much in my heals that I've got bristles all over my legs. 

I sat back on my bed and opened my phone. There were a lot of messages from everyone for Christmas. 

I messaged my dad and wished him too even though it was too late but who cares. It was already eleven but I don't really wanted to wake up. 

But I still got up somehow and went to take a shower. After that I got dressed and cleaned my room which was a mess. I then went downstairs but no one was there. Probably all of them weren't at home. I went to the kitchen and took some cereals as my breakfast. I tried to call each of them but none of them picked up the call. 

I sat on the sofa watching TV. It was almost 1:30 in the afternoon and none of them were home and I was bored alone. 

I went upstairs and changed my clothes and I did my hair. I took my car keys and I locked my house and went out. 

For five minutes I just kept on driving straight because I didn't knew where I should go. Then I thought that I should go somewhere where I could actually have fun. I drived all the way to the amusement park. I had this separate love for the parks that had roller coaster and such rides. I switched off my phone and I went inside the park. 

It was so amazing to be there after such a long time, and last time I sat on the rides was with Zach on the town fair. 

I literally went to all the rides and ate all sought of fair foods. It was so much fun being like that. 

Then I went for ice skating which is one of my favourite things to do. After all of it I was really tired and it was almost 7:30 in the evening, so then I just went to a coffee shop grabbed a quick coffee and after that I went back home. 

It was almost 8 when I reached home. I went inside and everyone was already there, sitting on the dining and having their dinner. 

"You finally came Maya." Noah came and hugged me. 

"Yeah." I said. 

"Well were you?" asked Maverick. 

"So I went to the amusement park, then ice skating and then to a cafe that's it. And where were you people?" I asked. 

"We went to the church services but you were still sleeping so we didn't wake you up." said Steve. 

"Yeah it's fine as it is I really needed to sleep." I said. 

"Well come have dinner with us." said Anna. 

"I'm full guys. You people eat, I'll just go change will join you people." I said. 

I went upstairs and changed into my night suit and went downstairs. 

"Maya what are we doing on New Year?" asked Anna. 

"Well we are gonna have a party for sure. Apart from that I'll leave it for you people to decide." I chuckled. 

"We'll plan it on 30th directly." said Steve. 

"And then what are we gonna do for rest of the two days?" asked Maverick. 

"Well I'll do my packing for LA." said Anna. 

"Yeah me and Amelia too have to do the packing for the Vancouver trip." said Steve. 

"And what about you both Maya and Noah?" asked Maverick . 

"Well both of us are gonna be at home and enjoy and relax our selves." I said. 

"And Maya I'm not here for new year. I said I'll be there only for Christmas this time." said Maverick. 

"Where you have to go now?" I asked. 

"LA. I have a few meetings there." 

"Why don't you go with Anna, even she's going there by 2nd of Jan." 

"Yeah. You should come with me Maverick." said Anna. 

"I'll see if I can delay it." he said. 

Then we went to our rooms as it late at night and we all were tired. 

As we went to our rooms Noah hugged me tight and kissed me. 

"Since morning I've not even spoken to you properly." he said. 

"Its fine Noah." I kissed him back. 

"Well did you enjoyed your day?" 

"Of course I did. I was just roaming like a free soul today and it was amazing." 

"Well then that's great." 

"By the way you wrote that poem quite well." 

"Which poem?" 

"The game that we played in which we had write about the person whose name we get. For me someone wrote a love poem sought of and I thought it was you." 

"Well I wish it was me, but I got Maverick's name." 

"Then who could write it? I said. 

"Well let's sleep. We will see it in the morning."

This story is about a girl who basically hated her life because of the experiences she had at a very early age. Even though there were a lot of people who left her, there were some who stood by her. But in this Teen fiction when people gave up on there own lives and one another, will Maya would be able to survive it?
And even if she will, things will never be the same maybe in a good way but there's no surety of it as it is  life only takes a few seconds to change everything. In this story of friendship, love, and harassment, I hope that my way of writing sickness out will be a cure for your problems. And even if your problems aren't solved it's not the end of your life as you all know that you can overcome it and take over your problems....

Jule 'Yea That is right so think about what have you done the people that you had humiliated and how good it felt'

And Jule was Finally inspired 

The poem 

In the hottest day that I ever experienced I was walking with only frien while thinking about myself 

All the time fooling around never thinking about the past 

When we parted ways I passed by the park and what I see make me think
'Damn what a hot girl' while my mouth was wide open

And since that day I started thinking 'To be with such a hot girl I need to be a hot guy'

And I accomplished that goal and now I am that hot guy that girls talk about but it not enough because I want to have more fun.
