The camera stopped on the mirror before the main character's face—it felt the main character was carefully examining herself in the mirror as well. The ending score began, and the camera the signified that the main character's point of view stopped in front of the mirror.
The woman in the mirror slowly reached out her hand and caressed the face in the mirror as her body gradually leaned toward the mirror. The entire screen was dominated by the woman in the mirror, and thus, the audience was given a better view. As the main character's hair parted, the woman in the mirror exposed her left eye.
When her left eye slowly increased in size, the camera suddenly pulled back!
The camera seemed to have abandoned the main character's perspective. The camera continued to retreat. It captured the main character's back as well as the woman inside the mirror.
As the camera retreated, the main character who stood in front the mirror turned her body around and looked toward the camera. Her face was as pale as white paper and strangely different from her reflection in the mirror.
At that moment, the scariest thing happened.
After the main character turned around, the woman in the mirror maintained the same posture. She did not move!
She and the main character both looked toward the camera and exposed an expression that could not have been stranger.
The music was suddenly cut off, and the screen went black. Perhaps because this private viewing theater had not been used for so long, even after the movie was over, the lights in theater did not come on automatically, and the surroundings were still shrouded in darkness.
The darkness caused a certain degree of anxiety. Chen Ge remained in his seat and did not move around; he kept his eyes glued to the movie screen. He had a rough idea about the movie that he had just watched. The director used a flashback with the middle of the plot showing the main character's memory.
The 'Left Oculus' grew in a girl by the name of Wenyu, but the thing that was controlling the body of the girl was no longer Wenyu herself. The director merely chose to highlight on a singular part. At the start of the movie, the female ghost kept referring to the main character as Qiumei, which meant that since then, the soul inside the main character's body had already turned into Qiumei.
The parents and doctor that appeared later were all ghosts, or perhaps they only existed in this world that was mainly visible through the left eye. That could explain why Wenyu treated her parents with such aloofness. In reality, they were not her family, but they were the lingering spirit of Wenyu's family.
The middle of the movie could be viewed as Qiumei's memory; it described how Qiumei got transformed into Wenyu. After the memory ended, the movie moved back to reality. Qiumei made a date with her good friend. After the movie that night, she would invite her 'friend' to visit her 'home', and the cycle would begin again.
The nightmare was not broken, and the next girl who had the unfortunate destiny of inheriting the left eye should be Qiumei's friend.
The scariest and most horrifying ghost of the movie was none other than the main character; this was also the first movie that Chen Ge had seen that was taken from the perspective of the ghost.
Other than that, there was a part inside the movie that piqued Chen Ge's interest. Right as the movie was about to end, the method of shooting had a sudden changed. It changed from a first-person view to a third-person view. At the time, there had been no other person in the room. Could it have been that the last camera was taken from the perspective of the audience?
Both the main character and the ghost inside the mirror turned to look at the audience beyond the screen. Chen Ge remembered very clearly that their left eyes were open.
It feels like they might just crawl out of the screen at any second.
Even for Chen Ge, his heart was beating a bit fast after finishing the movie. It would be an exaggeration to say that he was afraid—he merely felt somewhat creeped out. Opening the backpack, Chen Ge allowed the white cat to escape. Scratching the cat's head, he slowly calmed down.
The horror in the movie was manufactured by the director; this is completely different from the ghost stories in real life. If there is a chance, I would like to sit down and communicate with the director.
The screen had been dark for almost three minutes already, but the black phone did not ring with the message that the mission had been completed. Honestly, Chen Ge had no idea where things had gone wrong.
Is it because the movie is too short, so the black phone does not approve of it?
He stood up and stared at the darkened screen. Then a different possibility surfaced in his mind.
Or is it because the movie isn't over yet?
The movie was only twenty minutes long, but if the ghost had escaped from the movie then the movie had not really ended. A light scent of mildew permeated the private viewing theater. Looking around, the rows of seats had the appearance of squat tombstones. The more he studied them, the scarier they became.
The girl with the 'left oculus' could be hiding anywhere in this theater.
Chen Ge was there to complete the mission given by the black phone, and should the movie never end, then his mission would never be completed.
Do I really need to wait here until dawn?
Chen Ge was a very calm and collected person. He was familiar with his strength, and he understood his weakness. Zhang Ya was still hibernating, and it was unknown when she would be able to awaken. Xu Yin was left at the Haunted House, being treated by the red high heels. Currently, the strongest employee that Chen Ge had with him was Bai Qiulin.
With Xu Yin's aid, Ol' Bai had consumed Xiong Qing's heart and evolved into a Half Red Specter. However, he was essentially a Specter who had been forced to become a Half Red Specter. In a real battle, he definitely would not be able to defeat a real Half Red Specter that was covered in resentment.
Left Oculus looks quite powerful. If she suddenly decides to pop up, the white cat and I might not be able to handle it.
Chen Ge had always been careful. If it was not truly necessary, he would not have taken any risk in his life.
The blind man lifted his head to ask Chen Ge, "Brother, it has been quiet for so long already, I believe the movie is over now, right? Can I go now?"
"Since you've called me brother, then I will not spin yards around you and tell you the truth. The female ghost in the movie that we just saw has escaped into the real world."
"The ghost has escaped from the movie‽" The blind man's reaction was more than a bit agitated.
"Don't panic. I have good news and bad news to share with you." Chen Ge reached his hand into the backpack and flipped open the comic.
"How can you still be in the mood for jokes?" The blind man was curled in his seat—it was clear that he was really afraid. "Tell me the bad news first then."
"The bad news is that the female ghost appears to be very dangerous, and she seems to be looking for a scapegoat. We are just unlucky enough to have run into her." Chen Ge provided his analysis calmly.
"This bad luck is forced upon me, okay? Brother, let's not stay here anymore. Let's hurry up and leave, please?" If he had not known that he would not win in a fight, the blind man would have used his cane to fight it out with Chen Ge.
"It is a bit too late to run now. The eye has already seen us both, so she is not going to let us go so easily."
"Fine." The blind man collapsed back into his seat weakly. "Then what is your so-called good news?"
"The good news is I have called many of my friends to join us, and we have a clear advantage of numbers." The sound of pages being turned entered the blind man's ears, and Chen Ge called out the names one by one.
A faded smell of decay filled up theater. In fact, it was strong enough to have overpowered the previous mildew scent.
"Did you smell something? Something is coming!" The blind man gasped in shock.
"Sit where you are and do not panic. Try not to bump into anyone else." Chen Ge already flipped the comic to its last page.
"Those are your friends? When did they arrive? Are they in the room now? How come I didn't hear the door open at all?" No one was there to answer the blind man's questions. If he opened his eyes then, he probably would have fainted on the spot. The originally quiet and empty private viewing theater was now bustling with activity.
The boy with the stink was pushed by the hanging man to the corner of the room, and he rubbed his belly with a sad expression on his face. The students from the sealed classroom at Mu Yang High School raced all over the place joyfully. Ol' Zhou 'tricked' Duan Yue to share a seat with him at the back of theater with a serious expression. They sat apart from the rest.
Elder Wei and the doctors were standing behind the blind man. They softly discussed among themselves the possibility of conducting an operation to help the man see again, and occasionally, professional terms tumbled out of their lips.
The water ghost sat on the front row. She was the sacrifice for bury seed, and this was the first time in her 'life' to have entered a movie theater, so she had an unbridled curiosity about everything. If she could have crawled into the screen, she would have already done so.
Yan Danian was the last who came out from the comic. With unwillingness, he took up the seat at the corner. The Pen Spirit hugged Xiaoxiao, and they sat down next to him. Chen Yalin appeared to have some questions for him about comics.
"Today is my birthday, so I'll treat everyone to a movie. I suppose this can be viewed as one of the employee privileges. This theater is rather small, but I hope you don't mind. When we have enough money, I'll rent an entire IMAX cinema hall for everyone to enjoy." Chen Ge stood up and walked toward the broadcasting room. Bai Qiulin and Elder Wei moved to follow closely behind him.
The blind man sat obediently in his seat. He knew that there were many things around him, but there was an indescribably strange feeling in his heart. Opening his lips, he extended his hands to feel the seat where Chen Ge should be. After realizing that there was no one there, he obediently closed his lips. He did not dare to move or even ask any questions.
"Are there any movies that you would like to watch?" Chen Ge opened the movie list. He was there to complete a mission, but it was different for the employees at the Haunted House, especially the students from Mu Yang High School, who were only allowed to leave their item of possession for a short period of time, so they definitely would not let this chance go to waste.
Going to the movie was a very common experience for a normal person, but for these students, if not for Chen Ge, they would not have experienced this again. There were only several ghost movies in the list, but there was a surprisingly heated argument among the workers. In the end, the majority voted to watch the movie called 'Name'. It seemed to be a movie related to someone's name. Chen Ge glanced at the cover. The director was still Chang Gu, and the main character's face looked about eighty percent similar to Wenyu.
"Alright, get back to your seat now. Do not wander about after the movie has started. Also, pay attention to your surroundings. Someone extra might appear because this theater is apparently haunted."
Looking at theater filled with ghosts, Chen Ge felt like it was rather preposterous saying something like that.
A group of ghosts watching a horror movie at a movie theater, I wonder if this is like watching a documentary for them.
The employees heeded Chen Ge's advice. They quickly shuffled back to their seats, and they were kind enough to leave two empty seats in the middle.
"Why are you guys leaving two empty seats here?"
Chen Ge pressed the play button, and the background music came out from every corner of theater. The music circulated in their ears, and it created the feeling that they were there in person. Even though this movie theater was rather old, the equipment was the top of the line. After all, it had once been used to serve the visitors at a high-end holiday villa.
The music accompanied the appearance of the images on screen. Those workers who had not experienced much in the way of the world and those who had perished way before their prime were feeling excited already. Some shrieks and howls echoed through the audience—the sounds that they made were even scarier than the sound effects of the movie itself.
What if they're scared by the movie? Normally, they're the ones scaring others.
Chen Ge could not worry about that much anyway—he just wanted to complete the mission given by the black phone as soon as possible.
Moving to the seat that the employees had reserved for him, Chen Ge had Bai Qiulin sit next to him while the blind man took up the seat on the other side of him. He had gained entry due to the blind man's help, but the least he could do was guarantee the man's safety.
"Brother… have you returned?" With Chen Ge's support, the blind man was led to the middle of the theater. His legs were shaking, and it felt like he was walking on cotton candy instead of firm ground.
"Hmm, it's okay now. You are very safe. There is no need to worry." Chen Ge hugged the white cat. "You can stay and watch this movie without worry. After this movie is over, I will personally escort you back."
"Are you sure it is safe now? My heart is racing, and I suddenly feel so cold like I have been shoved inside a fridge." The blind man hugged the cane, and his eyelids kept twitching. It was as if he was losing control of his ocular muscle, and they could flip open at any moment.
"You're just imagining things." Chen Ge gave the blind man a few words in consolation. With his hand scratching the white cat's chin, his back leaning against the cushion, he enjoyed the movie with maximum comfort.
"That's impossible! I'm not imagining stuff! Are you sure your friends are all here? How come I feel this place is scarier and creepier than before?" A cold breath escaped from the blind man's lips. "Brother, are you even listening to me? Don't you feel even a bit unsettled at all?"
"I could not have felt more comfortable. In fact, if possible, I wish to order some snacks like coke and popcorn." That idea really did cross Chen Ge's mind earlier. Since they were there to party, food and drinks were required, but taking the mental elasticity of the takeout courier into consideration, Chen Ge abolished that thought from his mind. "It is your mind playing tricks on you. Just relax and it'll be fine."
The movie officially started, but the atmosphere was completely different from before. The lighting and sound effects did not change—the only thing that changed was the audience.
Chen Ge was deeply drawn into the movie; he combined all the information that he had managed to find on Left Oculus online, and the movies that he had seen that night and somewhat of a clue showed itself.
The movie, Left Oculus, had been destroyed already, but the private viewing theater preserved all the other works by the director, Chang Gu, and the works were all somehow related to Left Oculus.
Why would this director keep focusing on this theme of Left Oculus?
A part of the plot from Deskmate crossed Chen Ge's mind. Wenyu's father once called her by her full name, and the girl's name was Chang Wenyu—she shared the same surname with Chang Gu.
Could the girl with the left eye be Chang Gu's sister?
In Deskmate, at Wenyu's home, one would occasionally see the parents or the doctor, but there was definitely not a character who could be Chang Gu.
If Chang Gu really was Chang Wenyu's family member, then it could have indirectly explained that, during shooting, Chang Gu was still alive, but due to some reason, she did not show up on screen.
Chen Ge was suddenly reminded of the last scene of Deskmate.
With the change in perspective, is it possible that Qiumei and the ghost in the mirror weren't looking at the audience but Chang Gu behind the camera?


The hearse with the weird odor slowed to a stop before the entrance. The sound of pebbles could be heard bouncing on the ceiling. There were footsteps coming from the corridor, and there seemed to be someone sawing next door. The door knob to the room rattled slightly, and the faucet in the bathroom kept dripping even though it had been screwed shut. There was a rubber ball that rolled on its own underneath the bed. Wet footsteps started to surface one after another on the floor. 
At 3 am, Chen Ge held a cleaver in his hand as he hid beside the room heater. The call he was trying to make was finally answered. "Landlord, is this what you meant by 'the house can be a little crowded at night'‽"

"So wifey, do we have any task to complete today?" he asked lovingly.
"Yes today we have a different task. We will watch a horror story tonight!!" she exclaimed.
Vinson made a stoic face after listening to her wish. Vinson was never scared of anything in life, whether it was fighting people or facing scheming businessmen, he was always confident about himself. But if there was one thing Vinson feared, it was Horror movie! Though he didn't believe in ghosts, he could never make himself to watch any horror scene.

"Actually i feel very tired after our actions today. Can we skip it for some other time?" he asked her in a careful voice. 
"No" she said immediately oblivious to his tensed face.

"Ok turn of the lights. I selected the movie we will be watching today. I will bring some wafers to chew while watching movie" she replied before turning to her bag which consisted of the snacks she bought.

Vinson slowly walked towards the television, deliberating his every action. By the time Kizy returned with snacks, he had still not turned T.V on. 
"What are you doing Vinson? Are you trying to compete with a snail with those slow movement of yours" she laughed loudly.

She turned on the T.V and sat on the sofa while selecting the movie. Vinson sat beside her without leaving any gap between them. Kizy didn't mind his actions.

After half an hour of the movie, she understood why Vinson was trying to skip watching movie first and then why he was acting all clingy while watching the movie. He even shouted at two scenes where the ghost appeared. Kizy liked such movies but she didn't knew that Vinson was scared of them. She felt like laughing at her husband who was strong enough to fight 3-4 men together but was acting like a scaredy cat while watching these horror scenes.

But it was a rare chance to see the all cold and haughty Mr. Vinson Qin to be afraid of something. Hence she decided to tease him. 
"Hubby you can look now, the ghost is gone" she told. 
But the moment he lifted his head, he felt his entire body freeze. It seemed as if the ghost was giving him a deathly stare. Though it wasn't as dramatic as he was imagining, but Kizy asked him to look at the screen exactly when the ghost looked towards the camera. Vinson jumped in horror. Thats when he heard his wife laugh loudly. He felt wronged after being teased by his wife.

"Wife you took so much efforts to make sure that i enjoy the movie, off course i have to repay your kindness double fold" he came closer to her.
Kizy could see his devilish grin now. Gone was the scaredy cat which was now replaced by a lion who looked as if he was ready to devour his prey.

Vinson turned the volume down but kept the movie on as that was the only source of light in the dark room. His hand went near her nape while his other hand supported his body. His thumbrunbed her exposed skin, sending electric currents throughout her body.

After confessing her love for Vinson, all Kizy got was a rejection. Knowing that her best friend was now Vinson's girlfriend and secretary, she had no chance. She locked her feelings away and decided to work harder towards her goal of saving lives.

But life presents her with a sudden opportunity to win Vinson back. Before they could understand the situation, Vinson and Kizy are legal husband and wife. With both of them having cold personalities, will Kizy be able to make Vinson fall for her and complete his grandpa's last wish? And will Vinson accept and accompany her in fighting her dark past? Or will they drift further apart?

Keiro: "Senior Berthy, why of all songs should this piece be your ringtone?"
Berthy: "What's wrong with it? It's just a movie song.."
Keiro: "It's not a movie song, it is one of Dopin's nocturnes...Wait a minute, have you heard this being played in a movie?....."
Berthy: "Yeah it's an old movie with hijackers and some brave pilots that save the situation. What was its name again...yeah, it's called 'flight fight'."
Keiro looked it up on the internet...There seemed to be such a movie. Was this related to the ghost's regret?
Just then Pell Hugo came into their club room along with Shimlee and Rusa. He sat down in a seat and sighed.
Hugo: "I think I messed up big time."
Keiro: "So...when exactly did you start learning the piano senior?"
Hugo: "I had tried my hand in it when I was young. But I was really bad at it and dropped the whole thing. But when my father died...I felt like I should follow in his footsteps after all, and then there was his ghost too...So I joined the music club."
Keiro: "I should have known.."
If Keiro had listened to him practice at least once, this would not have happened, but she had been too busy with exams, and then there was this preconception about Hugo that had misguided her. It was too late now.
Hugo: "I wanted to become a pilot you know. Not like Dad was against it..but I thought he must have secretly felt sad that I couldn't follow in his footsteps."
Keiro stood up from her seat.
Keiro: "Say that again.."
Hugo: "He must have felt bad that I did not inherit his talent..."
Keiro: "No. That's not it senior! Berthy just told me that the nocturne he is playing is a bgm to a movie about pilots!"
Hugo stared wide-eyed.
Hugo: "You must be kidding.."
Rusa: "For real?"
Keiro: "Check this out."
Keiro opened her laptop and searched for the movie 'Flight fight'.They streamed it online and watched it for two whole hours. It was just like how Berthy had described it. A pilot who helped to save all his passengers from a hijacking. The nocturne that the ghost had played was indeed the bgm to the movie. When the movie ended Pell Hugo shed some tears.
Shimlee: "Your father was not upset that you were bad at the piano, he just wanted to tell you to bravely follow your dreams..."
Hugo: "When my father died I had withdrawn the application for the aviation school.Looks like I'll have to reapply now." He wiped his tears and smiled.
Their solemn moment was disturbed by Berthy's snoring.
Shimlee: "Does he even know what's going on?"
Keiro: "Berthy has done it again this time...He just helped solve our case."
Hugo applied for the aviation school and his father's ghost soon disappeared. And whenever he felt down or discouraged he would listen to a recording of the nocturne that his father had played after his death...

"Xi Long...there's something...behind you." 

Ying Yue had a face of horror as she stared past him into the back of her apartment. She had forced herself to maintain her seriousness as she acted out seeing a ghost. The minute she had started asking him if he0
 believed in ghosts was the same minute she began her quick plans to tease him. She wasn't sure if he would be scared or call her out on her lie but she would try nonetheless. Don't take her wrong, she was truly afraid of ghosts and would have probably ran out the apartment if she had actually seen one, no questions asked. Though she was lucky enough to not see or encounter one until now her friends, especially Ming Ming, have and had tortured her with stories of what happened. Ming Ming had sworn that she had seen a couple of ghosts in her life, apparently she had a third sense for it that made her see it more than "regular people." Especially when they were younger, Ming Ming used this as an excuse to sneak into her room and have a forced sleepover because she was too scared to sleep alone. 

Reminiscing a little about her childhood friend she failed to notice the odd glint in Xi Long's eyes. Refocusing on her act she continued to pretend that there was a ghost behind him. 

"Don't...don't look!" Xi Long had tried to turn his body and look behind when she stopped. 

"Why? Let me see the ghost, is it male or female?" 

"Does it make a difference?" 

"Women and child ghosts are definitely scarier." Looking at his face she saw a dead-pan expression, she could tell he really believed it. 

"No, you shouldn't look, you start walking towards the door. I'll keep my eye on the ghost  and make sure it doesn't move..." Before she could finish Xi Long had already whipped his head around to look at the ghost. 'Ah, he found out.' Stopping her act she began pulling herself away from his body when she was suddenly thrown into his arms. 

"What're you doing!" 

"I saw the ghost! Its just as scary as you said.' 

"Wait...what?!" Ying Yue got slightly scared at this, looking over his shoulder she only saw her empty hallway. 'What if he was like Ming Ming and could see ghosts??' 

"You...you can see them?" 

"I've seen them before, but it was the first time it was this close." 

Ying Yue began to slightly question her situation, he could easily be lying to her but what was she to do if on the off chance he was telling the truth? Steeling her nerves she started moving to get up from the chair. So what if there was a ghost? She would lose to no one, dead or not! As she tried to move, his arms tightened around her and pulled her closer. He pressed his face into her neck and refused to move. His shoulders trembled as he held her, "please don't move, hold me, I'm scared." 

"...." Was she supposed to believe that? Even if this was an act, wasn't this too much? For a good second she had actually believed him but there was no way this annoying man in front of her would say this even if he was scared. Wasn't he just taking advantage of her??? 

"Get off me you liar! Stop taking advantage of the situation you profiteer!" She started pushing herself out of his hold when she heard his deep laugh. He pulled away from her and laughed with a playful smile on his face. The mischievousness was obvious in his eyes and face. 

"Sorry kitten, I couldn't help myself when I saw you acting so cutely." 

"Hmph, you're just trying to take advantage of me." 

"Well, I did follow along and acted well, shouldn't you reward me?" 

"....move, off the couch. You shameless man, tried to scare me and now ask for a reward!" 

"Haha, stop stop. I was just following your lead, how can you blame me? Now let's continue the movie." 

"Okay...but no more funny business." 

"Mhm...no more funny business." Relaxing against him, she moved closer to the edge of the couch and continued the movie. They had only got through half the movie before she pulled her trick and paused the movie. Getting pulled back into the movie both of them sat silently watching the movie right to the end. Xi Long watched the movie with half-focus as he kept sneaking glances at his kitten. He loved seeing her expressions and how quickly she switched them. She was so adorable that he felt his heart slightly clench, she was both a badass fighter and the same innocent kitten in front of him. Seeing her slightly get stiff from a jump scare he edged his arm closer to her body and lightly placed his hand against her shoulder. He didn't do anything else but wanted to provide her some reassurance that he was here. To his surprise, she didn't shrug his hand off and let it stay there. 'Maybe she was too absorbed into the movie?' Even then, it would be weird to assume she didn't feel it all. Taking what he can get, he consoled himself believing the latter argument that she knew but didn't feel like pushing him off.  

As the movie came to an end, Ying Yue leaned back and looked at the man next to her. He was looking at her and had a collected expression on his face. 

"Did you enjoy the movie?"

"Mhmm."

"Do you find ghosts scared, I didn't feel you tense one time during the movie." 

"Kitten, I am afraid of ghosts but more than ghosts I find humans more scary. The dead are gone but the living can still hurt you." His face maintained his calm expression but his eyes betrayed him. They were black and spoke of many horrors that he did not verbally express. Hating the look in her eyes she changed the topic. 

"So...what do you want to do now?" 

"Finally accepting this date kitten? Hmm what do you want to do next?" 

"I don't know, what do people usually do after the movies?" Tilting her head she looked at him in confusion, she honestly had no idea what people did. 

Chuckling, Xi Long'a voice dropped as he spoke again and with every word he got closer to her but kept a hair breath of distance away from touching her. "See kitten, usually after the date, people go back home together and do adult things. Do you want to try?" 

"Adult...adult things?" Ying Yue stuttered as she heard his voice and felt the warmth emitting from her body. His eyes had changed to a dark look of hunger that she all knew to well but she did not what he meant by "adult things." How far was he speaking? Many things could count as adult matters. 

Placing his palm against her face, Xi Long stared into her eyes. "Don't worry kitten, I won't do much I am a gentleman after all - but can I kiss you?" 

"You..."

"Kitten listen, I won't pressure you into this nor will I kiss you without you permission. Say yes or say no I will respect either."

"I don't kn..." 

"Kitten yes or no - that's all I need."

HYL: "You will be mine, I never lose."

JYY: "Well I guess you're just going to have to learn." 

Jiang Ying Yue is a woman with a lot of secrets and isn't afraid to get her hands bloody to protect them. Han Xi Long is on the hunt to finish his enemies, but imagine his surprise when instead of finding his prey he finds a little fiesty kitten instead?

CHAPTER 44: THE CYCLE OF EVENTS CONTINUES AND ANOTHER MOVIE:
The pattern more or less repeated itself as before. The movie circus returned to the Bull. The latest 'levitation' incident, catapulted plans for a second movie sequel. This was driven by money of course. Hollywood and all the rest wanted to capitalize on all the current publicity.
Beryl and Sid braced themselves for this latest onslaught. There was a set of the Bull in Hollywood but as before, the movie moguls wanted shots of the actual Bull Pub for added authenticity plus of course the guaranteed addition of Old Slippery himself.
The downstairs Cellar Bar Restaurant was to be used as before, but this time with a minimum of disruption. Filming was to take place overnight and in the mornings only. The Cellar Bar Restaurant was to be restored everyday day for customers. The same British and American production teams were more or less being used again, so this was not a problem.
Yes, American style bottled beers and whiskey would be made available downstairs along with American style burgers, However, no patronizing comments about 'English Beer'. Beryl threatened to unleash Old Slippery on any offenders. This threat was duly noted and the 'yanks' did behave themselves. Real ale and fine food were available in both Restaurant Bars as per normal.
When this all got started Old Slippery was fully involved. He was in ' Seventh Heaven' again back at the centre of attention. He was also back in control. He was further emboldened by his experience of setting up his line dancing class during the disco dancing sessions.
The scriptwriters had got wind of this event as well. The 'Events Bar' was little used during the week, mostly weekends, so it made perfect sense for the production team to encamp there for most of the time. Top 'Boiler Room' DJs were employed. A very attractive soundtrack was produced. An extended 'Line Dance' sequence was added as a central feature of the new movie. Things were entering a realm of beyond the very strange. The ghost of a long-dead Regency highwayman becomes a 1970s style disco dancer along the lines of John Travolta.
Sid had found an old DVD of Saturday Night Fever which he put on the plasma screen for the Old Ghost and to the general delight of the Lounge Bar customers. Old Slippery soon became addicted to the John Travolta dance sequence 'Stayin' Alive', what else? This became the starting point for his dance routine.

Old Slippery really liked the old 60s/70's style of the big flared trousers and extravagant hair along with all those garish colours of that period. So there had been some flamboyance in male fashion since his day?
Somehow 70's retro style disco was mixed in with the dance music of the 18th century along with suitable 'musical hooks', a nice funky 'Bernard Edwards' bass line, and a solid backbeat. The musical soundtrack became an overnight sensation and further boosted the notoriety of Old Slippery.
The movie producers had learnt from the first movies that the 'House Ghost' had a very short fuse, and 'did not suffer fools gladly.' Everybody had to be 'top-notch', willing to work extremely hard and take orders from a long-dead 18th-century highwayman, Yes Old Slippery was a hard taskmaster. He could work 24/7 no problem being a ghost. There were still issues but far fewer this time. The new 'crew' were understandably perplexed by their first encounter with the ghost. This was to be expected.
Sid the Landlord and the Detective Chief Inspector went along to see some of the dance rehearsals.
They had long grown used to the absurdity of everything associated with Old Slippery. However even they were amazed. There he was, the Old Highwayman in all his shimmering finery, strutting his stuff in front of the line dancers. He was never one to give out praise lightly. Professor Hudson had noticed this. However, the Right Hon Jake Horatio Higginbottom was impressed this time with the overall standard of the dancers and actors. There should be no room for complacency, however. Standards in the movie industry at the top were pretty high to start with. The directors, producers, and investors were suitably impressed with how Old Slippery could really push people. It was not just by threats either. They were there of course. Everybody knew what the 'red eye flicker' meant.
However, if something had gone well and was to his liking, he would give a stately bow, which would all be duly reciprocated by bows and curtsies.
Plus of course, there were the ladies. All supremely fit and very attractive. Again, once the initial horror had lifted there was no end of flirting going on between the Old Ghost and the young ladies.
Yet again he was disgusted by what he was witnessing in the 21st century. This was not the world of 'Jane Austin', far from it.
Yes, "How about it?" Seemed to be the rule.
Young ladies were drawn to his casual flitting and general demeanour. Courtship was very much an art then, especially with the aristocracy. Professor Hudson and Doctor Amelia Smith had been seconded onto the production team. They were able to fit this around their academic duties, just. Plus they were very handsomely remunerated. This was also sent to the University of Oxford along with their own share.
They both filled in the production crew on the background of the Highway Man and the society he was from. The sight of all those 'hot pants', the odd mini skirt, and flowing dresses, not to mention all that luscious permed hair, was proving too much of a distraction for him along with developments in lingerie. Old Slippery's 'X-ray' vision proved very useful in this regard.
Both the academics explained that the Old Highway Man had a prodigious sexual appetite during his life and that this was still more than evident now.
Old Slippery more or less stayed on task. The Detective Chief Inspector's principal role was to keep order in an around the Public House. He still had other ongoing cases and could be called out at any time to deal with any of these.
However, he too was being pulled into the latest movie production. Along with Sid, he had the job of keeping the Old Ghost focused. Doctor Amelia Smith was also being drawn into this role as well, as she too could communicate with Old Slippery telepathically. Plus she had a lady's insight. This was especially important given this Old Ghost's total interest in the young ladies present.
Telepathically, she told Slippery Jake, that he must think he is in a candy shop, given the 'eye candy', young ladies, taking part in this remake. However, he must focus. She suggested a solution. He would be allowed a 10-minute flirt break every hour. The movie director and producers agreed to this, as the actors could not keep going 24/7 like the Old Highwayman.
The academics dropped into the Bull when they could. Here was a kind of 'living' example of someone from the Regency period they were studying. Undergraduates, Post Graduates, and Ph.D. students would also pass through, along with other lecturers and academics. This was quite a wide body, plus many from overseas. This had to be managed of course. They had to go through both Professor Hudson and Doctor Smith first before they were allowed entry to the Bull. They both knew that Old Slippery was not happy with being treated like a zoo animal. Any observations were therefore discrete. Old Slippery knew full well what was going on but was happily absorbed in his production duties.
They all gained a lot from what they saw. A whole culture and way of interacting had been lost. The way in which the Old Ghost engaged with the young ladies. But here it was for all to see, one of the many facets that Old Slippery had shown to the modern world.

A Strange Ghostly Tale Of Slippery Jake The Regency Rake.

This story is based in a London Pub from a few years ago. Slippery Jake returns to haunt the Bull Public House.
He is not your usual ghost by any means. He can be very ruthless but he is also very protective towards the pub.
His is a journey of redemption for the heinous he has committed.

"Truly~ a slag man."

Xia Ying's only comment seeing how idiotic this star's Protagonist Gong could be easily move by one single acting.

[Host those reporters who caught you at the hotel this morning were threatened to keep quiet about what happened. I've also recorded that scene. Does host wish for me to spread it?]

"For now forget about it. Keep it until then."

[Yes. Host.]

With regards to the scandal where he and the film emperor was caught in a hotel, the news about it seems got withheld. It was the work of Empire Entertainment where the Film Emperor's contract is under as well. Among the sun-moon twins only Xia Ying is under Empire as well while Xia Yang was from a second rate entertainment company called Silver Entertainment. As Xia Yang wasn't able to fulfill the requirements to be able to enter Empire. His talents were average after all, except for his face.

Watching the slag gong's current state, entertained Xia Ying but not much. He was munching on some snacks while watching the live stream of both protagonists. On the other scene, he could see Xia Yang acting like a queen during work. Scolding the make-up artist there and here. Meanwhile he and the film emperor were asked to rest for two days until everything was cleared up. Currently, Xia Ying is watching a movie in his living room when his phone rang. It was from his agent saying that he received few jobs for him.

Xia Ying answered the phone, "Yes, Xia Ying speaking."

'Prince. I've accepted two jobs for you. One is an advertisement for a male perfume, and one is an audition for a second lead minor villain, Xue Jing of Horror Tales. It's a horror movie.'

"I understand. Which goes first?"

'The first one is the audition. I will send you the script and movie background. The location is at Silver Entertainment. Please come over tomorrow at 9 a.m. Do you wish for me to send you an assistant to drive you over, Prince?'

"No need. I will drive alone. Please send me the script and thank you sir."

Xie Ying politeness over the phone made his agent speechless. He as his agent knew about the scandal between him, the film emperor and his sun twin, Xia Yang. The truth his agent pitied this timid little prince of his. He knew that this cold looking young man is nothing but a shy little one.

Wen Lin his agent could only keep a silent stand when someone is scolding him for being cold when in the truth the child only doesn't know how to express what he wanted to say. He also know that this young man is in love with the film emperor, but everyone in their circle knew that the one the film emperor fancied is none other than his twin brother, Xia Yang. He also knew what happened in the hotel that day. He was one among the staff that was ordered to talk to those reporters not to spread the news.

'…Prince… I know it is not on my position to say this but… you should forget about the film emperor he... he likes Xia Yang. You know that right? With your talent you can have anyone who like instead for that slag man. Just forget about him, okay?'

"…Un. I will listen to you Wen-ge." Xia Ying acted as if he was heartbroken through the tone of his voice when in reality his face is as cold as ice.

'Sigh. Don't drive tomorrow. Wen-ge will accompany you the whole day instead. Okay?'

"Really. I'll wait for you Wen-ge. I will send my new place address. I've left… his place."

'Good! Wen-ge will treat you some milk tea tomorrow. Rest now, Prince.'

"Un. I will register Wen-ge to the security database, just scanned your handprint over the entrance."

'Hey. What do you mea--'

Once the call ended. Xia Ying check the details of his job for tomorrow. He first checked his advertisement job. The perfume is a new type of scent. It's a quite feminine scent type of perfume. A Perfume made from cosmos flower. It was said the cosmos flower had a mild scent of floral but enticing feeling. It is rare for a male perfume to be made this way.

Which is why they wanted someone with handsome and cool beauty to endorse this type of perfume. They had chosen Xia Ying because of his cool and silent temperament that was known in the entertainment circle. Seeing this Xia Ying had no problem as he love the scent of floral but not those extremely sweet kinds.

He's other job is an audition to a horror movie, Horror Tale.

The movie is about a connected horror story. This is a school based horror movie. The female lead, Xue Luli and male lead, Fu Lian were school mates. One evening their class decided to do some ghost related activities. They went to their school abandoned building to do some ghost hunting for fun. The one who took the lead is none other than Fu Lian.

Xue Luli was not willing to go with them in the beginning but her little brother a year younger than her was interested in things like this and forced his sister to go ahead and join the fun. Asking her to bring him with him. The name of the younger brother is Xue Jing. During the ghost hunting event students suddenly started disappearing one by one scaring the others.

Those who were able to safely gone home were extremely afraid but those who were gone were not found. Then creepy situations like someone seeing ghost or self-mutilations started happening in school. Endless unexplainable horror even took place one by one scaring those who gone to that haunted building thought they were the ones at fault. In the end with the male lead successfully convincing the other students who were still alive that time, return to the said building to look for answers. They've played Pen Fairy and ask what is happening.

The protagonists then learn the history of the haunted building. The abandoned building used to be an old school building formed above a former graveyard. This building was abandoned for endless unexplainable incidents that happened in this place. Suicides, murder, missing children and more. Most of these cases were recorded in the land's police office as cold cases. In the end the building was baptize and sealed by an exorcist. It just so happened that the seal broke when this group of bear children went inside to go do some ghost hunting event.

In the end the movie showed how the female and male lead worked together to solve the problem. Of course in exchange of countless lives. Before the rest of those still alive escape from that endless horror and when they've thought everything ended, they didn't know that among them one is a ghost king that played as a human for entertainment. It was Xue Jing.

Xue Jing hypnotized the female lead thinking that she have a younger brother when she is an only child. Everything was in control of this ghost king whose wish is to watch their foolishness in the midst of danger. In the end the ghost king, Xue Jing, said he will let them go if one of the leads remained to entertain him. He asked Xue Luli and Fu Lian which among the two is willing to stay with him in exchange of other's lives.

The pair of lovers aren't willing to leave each other and begged the ghost king but before he could get an answer the exorcist arrived and save the children from the ghost king. Once the exorcist arrived on the scene, they've learned that what the children summoned is not the ghost king before them but another powerful demon.

This demon was the one who took children and killed them for their blood and flesh to nourish his soul. All this time the Ghost King called Xue Ling was the one aiding them and help them keep their lives. This ghost king was just a kind soul tortured by devil and was imprison within the school. Because he is extremely beautiful the devil keep him alive as a bait for those food (humans).

On the other hand Xue Jing keep his soul from fading for only one reason. He was waiting for someone to return. It was a promise from hundreds of years ago. A promise of eternal love. He was waiting for his other half's reincarnation to take him away. The reincarnation of his love is none other than the exorcist who called himself Lin Xia.

Lin Xia was reincarnated for hundred times looking for him as well. He was able to keep his past memories as a practitioner of soul. On this time Lin Xia have been looking for his love. Which is why he worked as a exorcist despite of being an immortal cultivator. This is to fulfill his vow to the heavens and to his love, Xue Jing.

But when he found him, Xue Jing's soul is already fully tainted with evil qi. He must kill the devil and gain the merit that will allow him to enter reincarnation. Xue Jing and Lin Xia worked together to kill the devil but in the end Xue Ling disappeared completely. The female and male lead though that this lovers' ending will be a sad one until one day they met that familiar beautiful young man.

That similar looking phoenix shaped eyes and silver eyes that had the same shade of the moon. Like a moon fairy, he and his love finally met once again this time to stay together.

Once he finished reading the script, Xie Ying immediately got interested. This kind of scheming and playful characters matches his personality a lot. He knew that he would enjoy that audition for tomorrow.

Xie Ying was humming once he put down the script on the table in front of him as he continued watching the movie before him. He is excited for his job tomorrow.

Hei Anjing is an extreme type of person. Mischievous and loves to play around with annoying people. A Devil may care attitude when in his good mood but horribly terrifying when angered. A cold hearted person with an unparalleled intelligence, who treated others as entertainment.

A Nethergod who was supposed to be a Lord that governed the Netherworld as a ruler. Cruelty and Mercilessness are his nature. But despite that his heart only beats for one person. His love, feelings and obsession are for his alone.

One whose memories were sealed for some reason. While the other lost his right as a lord and his soul fragments were scattered all over different worlds.

Then they've met in those worlds. Bullying the heaven's beloved children and destroying the plots of the worlds creating endless chaos. With both the MC and ML having  some problems in the brain and are psychopaths. Will the world end or not?

"I will chase and capture you, over and over again. Imprisoning you in my embrace. Until there will be no gaps for you to escape anymore. You are my obsession and my everything."

"Capture me. Find me. As long as you do, I will stay by your side until the end. There is no need for you to know what I did for you."

A hellish ride of two shameless and evil people. The true meaning of their relationship was hidden within those sealed memories. An action packed journey with thrilling and full of suspense events which you wouldn't like to miss!
