After another hour of travelling down those unnecessarily windy roads, the misfits arrived at a small little town. Situated just a few hundred meters away from the forest leading to the foot of the mountain. The village sustained themselves from mining and selling the goods to travelling merchants.
"So, if I got this right. You can't continue mining because of... Ghosts?" There was scepticism hanging in the air. Ghosts here, ghosts there, wherever he went, apparently there were ghosts.
"You're a mage, right? Don't tell me you don't believe in ghosts when your folk can destroy an army with a swing of their hand!" As much as scepticism rolled off Micah, as much anger and frustration rolled off the mayor.
"It's not that I don't believe it. It's more the fact that the idea of ghosts roaming around messing with people seems to be appearing more and more frequently around me. And, I don't like that." 

"Hmph, your tone sings a different tune, young mage. Now, can you or can you not, get rid of this ghost?"
"First of all, what makes you so sure it's a ghost at all?" Micah wasn't necessarily sceptic that it was the work of ghosts, whatever the town was experiencing. It was just a matter of how rushed and pushy the mayor was. They didn't manage to step out of their carriage before the middle-aged mayor had grabbed them and lead them straight to his house. He still hadn't woken up from the nap he took on the way here.
"First it's the blood-red lights flashing from inside the forest. Then it's the tower. Old and frail, possibly stood there for generation but only when the light-show started did we notice its presence. I don't know how we missed it, but we did. And, as soon as our miners found it, it started." With a heavy sigh, clearly trying to release all pent-up anger and resentment, he continued as calmly as he could. "three weeks ago. Two adults disappeared when hunting in the forest. that ain't nothing but a deer-filled forest, no beast of magical nature, never been, never will be. I'm certain them ghosts took them."
"T...Then... two days ago. Three sweet kids from my village disappeared. From their own homes no less. How do you explain that? Do you think bandits waltzed in through the front door and grabbed them kids? NO! Only something that can walk through walls could do that."
"I don't think ghosts walk, more like float, right?"
"Sorana, Not. The. Time!"
"Yeah, she-devil. Read the room," Micah glared at Gajeel with even more annoyance. Not only did he just antagonize her unnecessarily. He also was under the impression that he was superior as a conversationalist  
"Can you help or not! The kids, they're just younglings, not even ten." His anger had turned to pleading as he saw those tiny childish faces drift around the room. He couldn't shake the images, the horrible scenarios he envisioned those kids experiencing.
"We're here because of that tower so we're going to check it out obviously. If we can help or not, that depends on what we find. Whoever took the kids could very well have left the area by now. Prepare for that, because I can't guarantee we can get them back alive." He wished he could express how much this hurt him as well, but in front of the client and also this vulnerable mayor, he couldn't break down. That was something he was only allowed to do behind closed doors. His confidence was the towns hope.
"I know! But, I can feel it, I know they're alive. I have a connection with everyone here, I love them all equally, and I would know if they were no longer in this world." You could see the wetness at the corner of his eyes. His belief was strong, but his worry and anxiety was stronger.
"We will do what we can, I promise you that." Micah so desperately wanted to promise their safe return. But, those words from Richard, those specific words kept echoing in his mind. "Don't make promises you can't keep". However much he wanted, how much he needed for them to be alive, he couldn't show weakness or make false promises. He could only display empathy, trying to connect to the town that way.
"Thank you! Thank you!"
"Come one, guys. We have work to do." He wouldn't waste another precious second. Even though night was approaching, he didn't need to sleep and his comrades were too riled up to be able to sleep. Kids coming in harms way would summon the punisher inside every decent person. Could you sit idly by when kids were left alone and exposed to the evil residing inside humanity?

Finding a gigantic tower in the middle of a forest wasn't an especially demanding task. look for a big-ass tower and that's mission complete. They stood some ways away from that very tower now. But, this wasn't any old tower, the mayor was certainly on to something. Before leaving the village he found unbelievable how one could miss a giant tower standing so close to their homes. He thought they lied about not knowing about it to lessen the guilt. But, as they laid eyes on it, he now they why no villagers noticed it before.

"It's an illusion. Or, more like a temporary construct of magic. I don't know how it's made, but it is no more than a few weeks old at most."
"How do you know that? I mean, I can certainly feel an odd eerie aura around it, but that thing, a few weeks old. No way." Gajeel had no knowledge of Blue, so when the others chuckled at his bewilderment, he just growled in annoyance and confusion for not being included in the secret they prized.

"I'll explain when we get home. But, trust me, it comes from reliable sources."
"Mind giving me the quick run-down of what those sources are, and where they are?" He said, rightfully looking around in confusion
With a finger to his temple, he answered proudly. "My mind. A source of literal nigh-omnipotent knowledge and power. unfortunately sometimes unwilling to provide." He left it there, much to the frustration of the dragon slayer. That did not clarify anything whatsoever. Nigh-omnipotence, what did that even mean?
"Anyway. I will take down the guards stationed outside, just like with the bandit cave. Move up when I've taken them out, then we'll take the tower together. Also, we don't know the condition or location of the kids so we should try and make this quick and efficient." He looked over at Gajeel quickly. "That means, not much noise."
"Tell that to the she-devil. She is the loud one, right?"
"I'm gonna enjoy my time with you." Without even looking, he could feel the sadistic smile forming on Sorana's face. But, true to his character, he played it off as no big deal, despite sweating buckets on the inside.
"Be ready to move. See ya soon." Micah utilized his ability to dampen the flashy light coming off his body when he transformed. With almost no glow present around him, he disappeared as an azure-coloured blur.
The tower was massive and magnificent, from a purely architectural standpoint. Long, thin, with a spiralling form that ended at the top in a large circular structure. With how it was formed, it was highly likely that the interior mirrored the outside, with maybe a spiral staircase to ascend the floors. This was Micah's thoughts as he appeared in the air above the guards dressed in dark-red robes. Their expression was stoic as they gazed out into the forest looking for abnormalities in the environment.
"Look alive, it's only ten more minutes until our shift ends."
"You picked your last words nicely." Micah rose from behind one of the guards and he struck down on his neck, knocking him out.
"What the hell!" As the other guard lost his stoic expression and fumbled for something inside his robe, a dim light suddenly covered his vision and everything went black.
"Quick and clean, just as always, boss." Richard complimented as they came walking towards him. The second guard was struck in the throat with a precise strike then one to the head ones again to knock him out. Micah still held strongly to his no-kill policy. He would do what he could to not kill his enemies. A mindset no one among the misfits shared. Even Yukino agreed that killing is more effective and would remove future threats.
"Guess you were serious with the whole, good guy thing. I would have just killed them." The dragon slayer wasn't bothered by killing. Nature versus nurture. He was raised by the former, and in his life, there were no hesitation or mercy. He was raised a savage fighter, and his former guild taught him how to utilize that properly. Very different from the misfits he had joined hands with now.
"You will grow accustomed to it."
"We can only sit and wait for Boss's moral code to come back and bite us in the ass, and maybe then we can change him." There wasn't much they could do. Sorana and Richard knew how much love he held for Rufus, and how his moral code was the one thing connecting him to his dead father. He would do anything to preserve it.
"No time for chatter, let's go inside. We have some ghosts to beat up."
"Weakest ghosts I've ever seen."
"Oh, so you've seen a lot. How helpful. Then by all means, do take the lead, ghosthunter." Micah smiled and pushed Gajeel through the tower entrance.
"Finally some action!" Yukino brandished her sword with a grin, and Sorana simply smiled and raised her awareness to the maximum. Now was the time for the misfits first debut as a proper team.

Willow looked at Matthew Hayez as he adjusted the strings of his guitar while standing on the sofa. He finished and picked the remote from the table and handed it over to Willow.
''What are we going to use the remote for?''
''That will be your mic. I will play the guitar. Let's make our own version of Adele's 'send my love [to your new lover]' he said enthusiastically and Willow sighed with a dry chuckle.
''Aren't you taking this a little too serious? I thought it was going to be a simple lip-syncing… no?'' she asked him and he smirked and raised his brows at her. willow wanted to face palm herself, literally.
''Fate, you can do this'' he tried to encourage her as he started testing the guitar.
''But, I am not so sure of the lyrics. This is going to be a disaster, trust me''
''That's why the TV is going to translate the lyrics for us. we just need to follow the words. Fate, it is boring here, we need to make ourselves happy. Tomorrow we will be leaving this place, let's make some memories''
''Alright, I'm doing this because you cooked me dinner'' Willow gave in after he mentioned her maiden name twice. It was the first time he did that but it felt good in her ears though.
Matthew Hayez took the remote and turned on the TV, he went to the settings and pushed in a command. A few seconds of loading later, the lyrics for the song appeared on the screen. He handed the remote and sat down on the sofa.

''Yes, sir'' Willow nodded her head and sat down on the floor at his feet.

They both looked at each other. Willow eyes opened wild as she stared at Matthew's face drawing closer to her. Before she could open her mouth, he had sealed it with his lips and started kissing her. She moaned and he pulled her up, placing her on his laps as he deepened the kiss.
''Willow, are you alright?'' Matthew snapped his fingers at Willow and she came back to her senses and realised that what happened was all in her head. She flushed and gasped in shock. Did she just imagine herself being kissed by Matthew Hayez?
''Willow, your face is red, what's wrong?''
Willow hit his hand away when he attempted to touch her face. She stood up and placed the remote down saying, ''I'm feeling sleepy. I am going to sleep first''
''But, we still have….'' Matthew Hayez stopped when Willow turned to glare at him, ''I'm sorry, did I do something wrong?'' he placed the guitar down and was about to go to her and she stopped him.
''Don't take another step closer to me. I want to be alone. Come to the room an hour later when I am asleep, no. Sleep on the sofa. I don't want to share a bed with you''
''What? Why? We slept on the same bed for two nights, what's wrong with you?'' he asked confused.
''The fact that you don't even know what you've done is cute but, I can't sleep on the same bed with you. at least not tonight' she said to herself before saying to him, ''in any case. I am locking the door''
Matthew sighed. He was confused, ''did I do something wrong unknowingly? But, all we did was sing?'' he scratched his head and sat back.
In the middle of the night, Willow opened her eyes and looked at the empty space beside her. She sighed and murmured to herself, 'what is wrong with you, Willow? How could you be having such thoughts about Matthew Hayez? Don't forget this is just a contract marriage. After a year, you will leave his side' she pouted her lips and got down from the bed. She picked a few extra quilt and went out to the hall.
Seeing Matthew Hayez on the sofa that didn't contain his tall body, she felt guilty and went closer. She covered him up with the quilt and apologised, ''I'm sorry. I don't know what's wrong with me''
Willow sat across him and looked at his eyelashes that flickered as he slept. She smiled and was about to touch his thick brows but stopped herself. She shook her head and stood up.
''?You are doing that again, Willow. I must be sexually deprived after not been with a man for so long'' she went back into the room but this time she didn't lock the door. She left it open for Matthew Hayez, in case he decided to enter later on.
Next morning.
The snow had melted substantially making routes a little clear. Willow buckled her seatbelt after getting into the car. She waited for Matthew Hayez to look the main door before joining her.
After the stunt she pulled last night, she hadn't had the courage to look him in the eye. She had avoided eye contact with him by constantly looking everywhere but him.
When Matthew Hayez returned to the driver's seat, he put on his seatbelt first and turned on the engine as he said to Willow.
''There is an eatery on the way. Let's stop there for some hot soup and rice before we go home. You must be hungry, right?''
''Oh, yes'' Willow said and looked at the window, avoiding eye contact with him again.
Matthew Hayez looked at her for a while before he started the car and drove them out of the villa. He decided not to talk about it but he had noticed how Willow avoided looking at him while they were inside. He didn't want to ask her either because he felt that it might have something to do with last night.
Talking about last night, he should delete the video he took, since it seemed like she hated it. He didn't want to do anything that she didn't want, so he made a mental note to delete it once they got home.
''I'm sorry'' Willow apologised, surprising him as his hands almost left the wheel. ''I am acting like a spoilt brat, I know. I shouldn't have asked you to sleep in the hall. It is your house, after all''

Ian tried to ignore the annoying spirit.  But,  no avail. The past three days were hell for him. 
When he went to the market, spirits gathered around him. He tried his best to ignore them but he failed. Because of what happened, he locked himself in his study. He tried to figure out what was happening. But, only Witches can answer him. 
"What this book is about?" asked Leon
"What do you want from me?" Shouted Ian
"Easy, stop ignoring me!" Leon raised an eyebrow.
"If I did, would you stop annoying me?" 
"I just need someone to talk too, I feel lonely" exclaimed Leon in a sad voice.
Ian looked at the boy, he felt sorry for him.
"Ok, we can talk. But under one condition, don't talk to me when I am with others,  by others I mean other human beings ok"
"I promise"
"I am Leon" he held a hand to Ian.
"Ian" he shook his hand.
"You know instead of locking yourself, look for someone like you. You know, the orphan girl!"
Ian eyed Leon interestingly "what did you say about the girl?" 
"I heard that her power awakened on the same day yours did"
"You think we should observe"
"Yeah, I have been living for many years and no one has ever seen me" he paused as if he remembered something then said "until three days ago"
 
"What did happen?"
"Your power was calling for me I think. First I felt the poll toward your home. So, I entered… there was a dark shadow floating around. When I went to your study your hair had turned white so I gasped you looked at me and the rest is history…duh"
"So, spirits are attracted to me"
"Yeah" Leon nodded
"Ok, let's look for the girl, the Earth Kingdom; Capri   is not far from here"
Ian and Leon headed to the Earth Kingdom, the citizens of the green empire can control the elements of earth, wood, rock, and clay, and metal. He wondered if the girl had heard the voice too.
"Ian, Ian" Leon float around him pointing to his right
"Can you see the black shadow following that man and his kid"
He looked around him and saw a man and a little kid, the man was smiling, he said something to the kid them picked him up.  Around them was a dark shadowed figure. The shadow turned around looking at Ian and disappeared. That is strange, he turned around and the dark shadow was in front of him, he shouted and fell down. The shadow looked behind Ian.  Ian turned around and the hooded man had taken off his hood. The man looked at him and smiled the little boy was waving and jumping saying "hello there", the man nodded and picked up his kid and walked down the road. The kid kept waving at him. 
" I thought he saw me… for seconds I thought, I thought he smiled at me"
Ian looked at Leon, he felt that too. For a moment he thought the man was not only looking Leon but at the dark shadow. 
"Let's go! the orphanage is there." It took them one hour to arrive at the orphanage. Spirits were everywhere. 
As soon as they reached the door of the orphanage it started raining. He knocked, a little boy opened the door.
 "Hi there"
"Can, I talk to the owner…" the little boy dragged him inside.  
Inside, little heads turned looking to him. An old lady was gasping " oh my boy! You are the second stranger he touched"
Ian looked perplexed "Sorry, mam"
 
"Call me Matilda"
"Ok Matilda, I heard that a girl was living here her power has awakened… I want to talk to her."
"She is not here," said the little boy who dragged him inside.
Ian looked at the boy and smiled. " I think I came late then"
"She went to the white empire" Ain looked to a girl wearing blue grown and seating next to Matilda.
"Really," he said looking at her
"Yeah, she is not here," said another girl. The girl has purple hair
Ian looked at the little boys and girls. Not all of them were human.
"Some of them are spirit", Leon said
 "you are like him you can see ghosts"
He turned to the little boy 
"What?"
 Leon appeared suddenly in front of the kid and shout "poo"
The little boy fell down, looking from Leon to Ian.
Ian hit Leon on his head.
 
"That hurts!! I was just joking with him"
 
" you can see ghosts", asked a little girl on the table
"Leon is not a ghost his a spirit. But, the kids around you are indeed ghosts"
 
"You are like Aiden", said a little boy
 
"My boy you should leave", said matilda
 
"But" he tried to argue
 
"You do not save here" .. "go and look for Aiden I think he has answers of your questions"
"Listen to her, leave now. I will go with you"  said the girl with purple hair
"Thanks, I will leave"
He started walking out then stopped and turned to Matilda "does Aiden has a little golden-haired kid?"
"Yeah, he has" the old lady replied.
"Thanks"
Matilda and the kids saw Veronica and the man and the spirit walked out of the orphanage. After a while, the other ghost kids disappeared. 
"Will he help Linda?" asked Mark
"He will, didn't you see. He is like Aiden" said lee
"I was happy...I saw my friends for the last time" said Jenny
"Me too, I am happy I saw them again", said Mary
"Let's pray for our friend's safety," said Matilda
"Ok"
Matilda thought that what happened to her girl was not a coincidence. The appearance of Aiden in her orphanage, then the visit of the young man.. was not something to take for granted. Something big was going to happen.

Ian walked out, it was his luck, the rain had stopped. By night he was in his house.  He walked upstairs heading to his study. He closed the door and shut the windows. "
Where did Linda go" he asked the little girl.
"She was asked to go to the white kingdom. She is not the only one who has awakened. Five others have. You and Aiden are like her I think" 
"So, five days ago others have gone through the same thing as me"
"Yes at the same time"
 
"Did you hear a voice calling for you?" asked Veronica
"How did you know"
"Linda heard a voice telling her not to worry"
"Why I am in danger"
"Black shadow came to he orphanage, he warned Aiden and asked him to leave. That is why matilda asked you to leave…..Aiden felt the danger, am sure.. think that is why he decided to leave"
"What? 
Wait, did you say a dark shadow"
"Yeah, it was scared at first when the dark shadow appeared and warned him about something  He said witched were around and that he should leave before they sense his powers" 
"That is why the little kid asked me if it could see ghosts too"
"It wasn't hard to notice, I mean the orphanage is full of ghosts. Before you knock, everyone saw us"
"What do you mean?"
"All the  kids were ghosts except matilda and…."
" the four kids" Ian finished the sentence for her.
Veronica looked at him astonished," I noticed that Matilda and  kids around her are human" he continued.
" You are right. Mark, Lee, Jenny, Mary and Matilda are not ghosts." 
"Matilda noticed that something is wrong. Before you came, she wasn't able to see us. But suddenly they could see us again. The other kids were shocked but said nothing"
"How can normal people see ghosts?"        
"Easy, you saw the man…. obviously he has similar powers....and you without noticing you made them visible to the normal people."
"I did that"
"Yeah", said Leon and Veronica
"We should go now" Ian stood up. He walked to his closet he picked the ag and put in it his clothes and two of his books in it
"If Aiden left, we should leave too", said Ian
"We are we heading?" asked, Leon
"To the white empire" replied Ian
"But, first as not to catch the attention you too are going to ask the spirits about  the others."
"And Aiden," asked Veronica
"No, don't ask about him. I don't know why but feel like  I should protect him"
"By the way,  I am Ian and this is Leon. What is your name?"
"I am Veronica"

Amusement parks back then weren't similar to the ones these days. Rong City was still a newly developed city at that time, and the amusement parks were located in suburban areas.
There was an undeveloped cottage area near the amusement park. Da and his three friends were hiding in one of those cottages.
As the Huo Family's RV parked in front of the amusement park's gate, one of Da's men happened to be nearby, shopping for cigarettes. He spotted the RV immediately.
Such a large RV from a well-known company would have been very eye-catching at that time.
He did not only see the RV but also saw the three well-dressed kids from the Huo Family.
Looking at the RV which he knew would be worth millions, the man's eyes glowed. He went back and talked to Da about it. All four men believed that the RV was their best chance.
They could simply abduct the young and weak kids and ask their parents for ransom money. It didn't matter which family they were from, because they were obviously rich.
The three kids came in an RV to the amusement park. How rich was their family?
The four vicious and greedy men soon made their decision and jumped into action.
Swayed by the temptation of money, they made their decision in no time, then planned out their moves immediately. After all, the more time they wasted, the more problems could occur.
They did not take Huo Jinkai and his siblings very seriously. They were only three young kids, weren't they?
Da had been staying near the amusement park during those days, mingling with the tourists to have his traces covered. Based on the information provided by Liang, he quickly worked up a plan.
He was a criminal and was well-prepared. After finalizing the plan, the four men bought the tickets to the park and then went in.
Under Da's direction, the other three men took action separately. Just as they were thinking about how to catch the three kids and bring them out of the park, the three kids showed themselves into the haunted house.
Da was thrilled to see that happen. It was exactly like someone bringing him a pillow when he was sleepy. He immediately adjusted the plan and decided to kidnap them right inside the haunted house.
In the haunted house, Huo Wushuang was first curious to see the "ghosts". Soon, she got scared and started asking her brothers if they could leave the place. The two boys immediately decided to bring her out of the house.
Just then, two of the "ghosts" jumped out of nowhere and darted up to them. Huo Wushuang and the two boys were immediately startled.
They quickly turned to leave, but two other "ghosts" showed up behind them, following them everywhere.
The two brothers weren't expecting the hunted house to be so realistic. They looked at Huo Wushuang. She was very frightened by the "ghosts" and was crying loudly.
The boys were very nervous at that moment. They comforted the little girl, trying to bring her out of the place. It never occurred to them that those "ghosts" could actually be criminals. All they tried to do at that moment was to comfort their little sister.
While the two boys were focusing on the little girl, Da and the other three who were well-prepared knocked all three of them out with a baseball bat.
That had happened right inside the haunted house, in a dark corner.
No one had noticed that. Even if the others had noticed that they would have thought of it as a new game launched by the park. How would anyone ever think that some criminals would be crazy enough to kidnap small children in broad daylight?
The four men easily brought the three kids out of the park.
They didn't travel too far away from the park. They believed that the most dangerous place could also be the safest place.
They were very familiar with that area. The cottage area was going to be torn down sooner or later, so people would rarely visit that area after that. The four criminals brought the kids straight back to their cottage.
Da was the most brutal one out of all the criminals. He was wanted nationwide as a murderer. He now had a chance to get a big sum of money. He surely wouldn't let the rich kids run away.
He tied the three kids tight and sealed their mouths to keep them from screaming. He didn't give them any chance to run.
The work was done a little too easily, so much so that he didn't even have a sense of accomplishment.
Da was an experienced criminal. He didn't allow accidents to happen easily.
He told his friends to watch the kids, then started figuring out who the kids were.
Of course, he didn't need to make much effort for that, because the kids would tell him everything he wanted to know once they woke up.
Da liked to be a hundred percent sure, so he decided to figure it out himself nevertheless.
He searched through the kids' pockets. Unfortunately, both the boys hadn't brought their phones, as they were simply out playing with their little sister.
Huo Jinyao had brought only a camera to take pictures of his sister.
Da found a picture of his family on the camera and some pictures that were taken at a family party.
Da didn't know Huo Mingguang, but someone else did.
When Old Mrs. Huo died, her family had announced her death to the city. Among the four abductors, a man called Chen Si was from Rong City.
He did not only know who Huo Mingguang was but also knew that he was from the richest family in the city. He knew that the family had a lot of assets.
That cottage area they were in was about to be developed by none other than the Huo Family.
Chen Si looked at the photo, then told Da about Huo Mingguang and his family. Da burst into laughter after hearing him.
He felt as if God had given him a huge gift.
He was planning to abduct a random kid, but in the end, he got the kids from the richest family in the city.
Exactly how rich was the richest family of the city? Da decided to get as much out of the family as possible. He was going to ask for a small sum of money, but after learning who the three kids were, he decided to ask for more.
He decided to ask for a huge sum of ransom money. He wanted that money to guarantee him and his friends a safe and comfortable life until they died.
They discussed within themselves, about how much money they were going to ask the family. They found ten million too little. The Huo Family must have hundreds of millions.
Giving them a hundred million wouldn't be a problem for the Huo Family, but Da wanted even more than that. He planned to charge fifty million for each kid.
As their target became clearer, the rest of the job was easy.
As an experienced criminal, Da made more plans as soon as he could.
He first sent Chen Si out to buy a few SIM cards that weren't registered with their real names, then took a picture of the three kids with Huo Jinyao's camera.
The kids hadn't woken up in a long time, so he sent their pictures to the Huo Family.
After doing that, Da started to feel that the cottage was no longer the best place to hide. He couldn't let the Huo Family members find even a single trace of him, so he had to shift further away.
About an hour away from the amusement park, was the sea.
There were some newly built ports in that area. Da decided to hide in one of those ports and leave right after he received the money.
Da had everything planned out perfectly. Then, he brought the three kids away to the ports.


The young master of the Huo Family was well-known in the Rong City. Having been brought up in a military, political, and business family, he was decisive in dealing with businesses, yet sexually continent as it was said. Nevertheless, he happened to fall in love with an illegitimate daughter. 
The disgraceful illegitimate daughter had been detested by her whole family, but suddenly won the love of the young master of the Huo Family.
Since then, he turned into a “slave” of his wife and pampered her.
Mrs. Huo: “They say I am an illegitimate daughter, and totally out of your league.”
Master Huo: “Who has such a big mouth! I’m gonna sew it up!”
Mrs. Huo started circling on his chest with a finger, “They also say you’ll get tired of me sooner or later.”

About twenty ghosts had just streamed through the walls around.
Those ghosts are Pearly-white and slightly transparent. Look so real.
Looking at those ghosts Gray couldn't link them with the real ghost but more like a soul without a body... Even though that's what ghosts are...
Gray looked at those ghosts normally. But Perona besides him looked at them with surprise.
Ghosts! A real ghost! Not one she made by her fruit ability... But a completely real ghost!
Looking at those ghosts, Perona suddenly thought of something.
"HraHraHra" From her hands a few white funny-looking ghosts appeared and rushed the other ghosts.
"What is this?" The other ghost who was talking about something noticed the familiar but weird presence that is coming in their direction and looked back.
"What!" As soon as they saw the funny ghosts all the soul ghosts spread and tried to run away.
The kids down looked at the ghosts scared by other funny ghosts and then focused at Perona who did all this.
One of the ghosts run from beside Ron, and Perona's ghost also followed but came directly through Ron.

"..." With Ron's words, everyone kept silent, even Perona who was watching her ghosts hunting the other ghost stoped and looked at Ron.

"Pfft....." Another platinum head kid not far away laughed when he heard Ron's words and wanted to say something, but Perona's ghosts were still following the other ghosts. So he also got his chance to test being touched by Perona's depressing ghosts...

Soon she took everyone to a big hall. A very familiar hall. The hall was lit by thousands and thousands of candles that were floating in midair over four long tables, where the rest of the students were sitting. At the top of the hall was another long table where the teachers were sitting.
Well, what really thought Gray eyes is the ceiling of this hall.
What he can see is a stray sky dotted with stars! As if the ceiling is connected with heaven directly!
Hermione was standing beside Gray and Perona, saw them looking at the chilling and explain to them that the ceiling is bewitched...
Looking at this ceiling Gray thought of the castle inside his ring... Maybe he can decorate it...
Soon Gray saw the dirty hat.
McGonagall held a big lest of names and looked at the kid in front of her.
She started calling names one by one. Sorting everyone to which house they will belong to in the future.
And like the original, everyone went as Gray expected.
Only Gray and Perona was left to the last.
"Gray....." McGonagall called Gray's name and asked him to step forward.
Everyone in the hall looked at Gray. Most of them were surprised by Gray's appearance.
Gray's silver eyes and the long white snow hair, with the black flowery crown on his head, wearing the classic uniform with a black coat, is really... Brilliant!

Gray took a few steps and sit on the chair so besides McGonagall so she can put the hat on his head. And McGonagall did this and slowly put the hat on Gray's head...

Gray knows what is happening to this hat, the hat probably did his job and wanted to enter his mind, but the crown on his head wasn't friendly for objects that will try to enter his mind. The ring on his hand was the first object that tried to do this and has been remade by the crown... But looks like this hat is not worthy so the crown only blocks it and didn't do anything...
"GRYFFINDOR" As soon as Gray said this, this lossy hat really did this and sorted him to Gryffindor...
As soon as McGonagall took the hat away the hat actually gave a sigh of relief as if it survived a very scary thing.
It's just a sorting hat anyway... It's weird if it managed to detect more without being affected by the crown anyway...

Jasmine:not really though I'm enjoying the silence,there isn't much noise compared to Brazil 

Josh:well it's been this quiet since I was born ,but it's a very nice place I'm sure you'll like ,
I'll personally be your tour guide what do you say ,deal ?

Jasmine :deal ,

Josh :do here we are ,gesturing at the store 
  After you ,opening the door for her,
"Thank you "jasmine replies,
The little kids seeing this ,look at each other and both smile in a mischievous way,

Josh try's putting up some small talk as they browse the store ,
 So what made you leave Brazil and move here ,

Jasmine:well it was my parade idea to move here ,something about him getting a job here ,helping people and what not ,
  Here is what I came for,stirring at the box of donuts,
Kelvin; Yummy ,licking is lips as he says that 
Jasmine:boys so you see this ,you want some?
They nod there heads in agreement,

Jasmine:well this are all mine ,
As she walks past them to the counter,

Cashier:that would be four dollars,thank have a good day as jasmine hands over the cash ,

Josh :I guess my job as a tour guide starts now :

Yes sirrr 

Okay so the first stop ,the Livingston park which is just next to the living stone museum,I guess those are our first two stops of the day ,

So shall we ?
A few min later there arrive at the park ,
Jasmine and her siblings are store in amusement,
Wow this is beautiful ,
 The park was made in 1925 by them we where still colonialised by the British,the park is really old but they still maintain it saying that Livingston is the country's tourist capital everything has to be in place,
 So why don't we let the kids have fun while we go over to the museum and take a look at some prehistoric artifacts,
Hey guys stay here and play will be back shortly,
 The leave the kids and head to the museum,
 Jasmine is amazed by what she sees,
A huge building made out of glass,glowing from the rays of sunlight hitting it, 
"Let's go inside "jack says,
The inside is even more beautiful,as ancient artifacts are displayed all over ,
 Wow so much history to look at ,that minutes into the museum and jasmine is already seen more than she had ever seen her entire life time,
 But one thing grabs her attention,a 10,000 year book ,

 "Hey how about this book ,"jasmine asks .
This are is the oldest book in the museum,it is said to contain stories of demons spells and all those superficial stuff ,
I think we are done now let's go check on the kids ,
Yea let's go but her eyes still glued to the both as though as though she was waiting or expecting for something to happen,
Hey kids we back!!
 Kelvin hey josh this place is awesome,
"Jasmine can we come here every day " Philip asks .?
 Yea sure why not .
Josh:it's time for our next site ,one of the oldest houses in town or as I like to call it ,the creep house of horror,
Jasmine:are you talking about that creep house we say on our way back to school,
Josh:most likely,now let's go ,
Philip:this is cool we get to see kelvins ghost house today.
 I'm a few minutes the reach the creepy house of horror,
And immediately the mood changes and the air seems to feel thicker ,
Josh :welcome to the creepy house of horror,
 Kelvin:wow it looks older up close and spooky to ,
Josh :legend has it,that little jack and his family once lived here ,and up till now no one knows what happened to them,it is also believed that on the 7th of August you can hear the laughter of little jack echo across the street,

Jasmine:but why is it fenced?
Josh:it it is rumored that kids kept despairing once they entered the abandoned house,so they had to close it down,
"Oh I see I guess that makes sense but do you think it's true?"jasmine asks ,
  Well kids have been disappearing but blaming it on the poor old house I think it's just an exaggeration.
 Jasmine:I think so to I mean how can a house be responsible for so many disappearances ,
Kelvin:maybe there're ghosts in the house ,
Philip:here we go again with the ghost stories,kelvin ghosts do not exist,
 Kelvin,then how do you explain the kids disappearing?
Philip:I don't know but for sure it ain't ghosts,
  Alright guys enough about ghosts ,let's go home it's getting late ,

Little jack is a story based on the demon p’onos and how his fate collides with that of little jack,and how there souls are bound forever.
   This story is not for the weak at ,

Bethany rushed out of Eric's house in tears. I ran to catch up with her. She started across the street, a car was coming at full speed no way was it gonna be able to stop in time. I pulled her by her arm and pulled her into a tight hug. No way I was gonna lose another person dear to my heart. Bethany cried as the car zoomed past us and crashed into another. I went to grab my phone to call for an ambulance. I handed the phone to Bethany to make the call, I couldn't believe what I was seeing... There were ghosts flying out of the bodies at the scene of the crash.  
"Bethany...is it just me or do you see ghosts too?" Bethany had just finished the call and looked at me like I was insane. 
"What? Are you okay? I don't see ghosts." I looked at the scene as the ambulance came. The ghosts were staring at their lifeless bodies. I couldn't see the ghost of two people, the children. 
"They died! Only the kids are alive! Help the kids first!" I yelled to the paramedics. The paramedics looked at me like I was insane, but checked the kids first anyways. Once they sent the patients away a paramedic stayed behind and came towards me. 
"How did you know the kids were alive and the parents weren't?" I knew that the paramedics wouldn't believe me but, I told him anyway.  
"I saw their ghosts. I wasn't able to see the kid's ghost though. So I assumed they were alive." The paramedic looked at me like I was a crazy person. 
"Haha, nice joke. Please tell us the truth." I looked at him indicating I was serious. The paramedic stopped laughing.
"Oh, you're serious. Well um, okay. Contact the hospital, you'd be useful. Bye... I have to get back to work." Then took the last ambulance and drove away. 
"Well... he thinks you're crazy." Bethany wiped her tears away and chuckled. I almost forgot about the fact that Cynthia was gone. 
"Let's go to my house. I want to try something."

A LONG WALK HOME....

I was praying that I would still see Cynthia. I walked up the stairs hoping that she didn't go just yet. A pale figure floated around the hall way. I stared at the ghostly figure and soon after it was as if the ghost was peering into my soul. 
"Cynthia?!" I couldn't believe my eyes. It was the ghost of Cynthia. 
"Yes?" Cynthia talked but I wasn't sure if Bethany could hear this. I looked at the ghost. 
"Why did you kill yourself?" Bethany stared at me wondering if I went crazy. 
"I couldn't handle the pain anymore. I was bullied in school, but you and mom didn't help much. Dad's death was not my fault! Why am I to blame?! I am tired of it. You know what. I shouldn't have given you the ability to see me. I can't escape life this time." A flood of guilt rushed through my body.
"I- I ....um..." I couldn't believe I was the one of the reasons that she killed herself. She vanished. I looked at Bethany. I was part of the reason she died.... I broke down in tears. Bethany guided me to my room and comforted me as I cried. She didn't yell at me, she stayed with me till I fell asleep.

I woke up to Bethany talking to my mom.
"What happened to him? Is he okay?" My mom sounded like the caring person she was before dad died. I was glad that she realized her attitude had to change. 
"He saw her ghost. He realized that your treatment to her and his treatment was part of what drove her to her death." My mom broke down in tears. 
"I never meant to be mean, I didn't realize it was hurting her. She never talked to me like we used to." I sat up. 
"It's okay... I was part of it, mom... Thank you, Bethany, for being here. For being Cynthia's best friend and trying to help her. That's why I like you." Bethany looked at me as her cheeks reddened. My mom chuckled. At least they were not crying anymore.
