This book is not for the faint of hearts. It contains some of the most terrifying and creepy stories you will ever find. It also contains real scary and ghost stories.

"No. 4, before you start your story, I must warn you." The first man on the right turned to look at Chen Ge. "The story you tell must be real. We have our own detection method, and if you're fabricating a lie, there'll be an appropriate punishment."
"I know the rules."
"Then begin."
Chen Ge thought about it and prepared to tell his first story. "This is a real story that happened to my friend. His surname was Wang, and he loved his wife very much, but his wife mysteriously disappeared several months ago.
"He reported it to the police and looked for his wife all over the city, leaving missing person reports at every corner he went. Everyone pitied him, and the investigating police also realized that he really loved his wife to the stage of pampering her, so they understood his actions.
"However, there is no such thing as a real fairytale in this world. After half a year of searching, his wife had still not been found. The police had already given up, but he did not. This became his only drive to live. He left home very early every morning with the missing person notices and only returned home late at night.
"He repeated this day in and day out until, one day, his hard work was rewarded. He suddenly received a message from his wife.
"Save me…
"It was sent from his wife's phone. It was short, but it sent endless terror in his heart!
"He was hiding a secret that he had not told anyone. Actually, he was responsible for his wife's disappearance. He had killed his wife and hidden her body. The endless search was to drain himself, to lighten the guilt he felt toward his wife. However, he didn't expect his dead wife to message him from beyond the grave.
"He hurriedly removed his wife's body from the hidden compartment in his house and drove to the countryside to bury her. He thought that was the end of the story, but scarier things happened.
"Whenever he woke up from his dream, his wife's clothes would appear in the bed beside him like his wife had returned in the night!
"But how could the person he buried return in the night?
"He woke up and returned to the countryside with his tools to move his wife deeper into the woods. However, no matter what he did, he would wake up to find his wife's stuff appearing around him. It was as if his wife had come back from the grave and would return to him after he fell asleep.
"He was increasingly scared, and his phone kept getting messages from his wife. However, he didn't have any recollection of receiving them. The only explanation was that they were sent after he fell asleep.
"Things only got worse from there. Sometimes when he woke up, he would discover he was wearing the clothes his wife died in. He was on the verge of collapse, and he knew the problem was with his wife. So, he returned to her grave to move her one last time.
"To prevent her from coming back again, he came up with a crazy idea—he was going to seal his wife inside the wall of an old apartment building.
"Seeing his wife merge into the wall, he sighed in the relief. This time, there was no way his wife was coming back." Chen Ge stopped abruptly. "That's the end of the story."
"That's it?" The two at the table were deep in the story. "Then what happened next? What happened to your friend?"
Chen Ge was telling Wang Qi's story. He wanted to say, That 'friend' met me and is now rotting in jail.
"Your story isn't finished, right?" the first man on the left said with annoyance.
"That's all I know. If I continue, it would be a lie." Chen Ge changed his voice to sound old. The first man on the left shared a look with the rest at the table, and they all turned to the fifth person on the left. The person was swallowed up by the black robe. Not one inch of skin was revealed.
Feeling everyone's gaze, the person spoke. "I cannot get a clear reading, but his story should be real."
"Not a bad story, but I don't like this feeling." The first man on the left placed his left hand on the table—that looked like how they voted. Of the other nine, eight placed their left hand on the table. Only the man who showed interest in Chen Ge's mask did not move.
"One forfeit and nine in agreement. Looks like our main course for tonight has been decided." The man on the left chuckled wickedly. The rest also looked at Chen Ge with viciousness.
Chen Ge tried calling Zhang Ya, but there was no response. He knew that if he did not do something, he was going to be in grave danger.
"Don't be so hasty. This is just my first story." Chen Ge was very calm. The mask on his face revealed a twisted smile. "Like I said, I have many stories."
Initially, the other new members had sighed in relief, but they got tense again.
"Many stories?" The man who had interest in his mask studied Chen Ge. "The rules of the ghost stories society state that if you finish three completely real ghost stories that are approved, you can make a demand or choose to leave the society. So, if you can tell me another two real ghost stories, we might develop a different opinion of you."
His statement was approved by the rest. Only the first man on the right hesitated. "No. 10, you seem to value this new member a lot."
"I just feel he is very interesting."
The black robed individuals seated at the table had their own numbers; they never referred to each other by name, not even nicknames.
"Real ghost stories aren't so easily made. Normal person come across them once or twice and would have a mental breakdown already." The man on the left retrieved his left hand from the table. "Hopefully, he won't be dumb enough to tell lies."
Chen Ge did not interrupt their exchanges. After all, he was trying to drag out the time.
"Tell us the rest of your stories."
"My second story is another real story that happened to my friend."
Chen Ge first told about how Fan Yu saw his parents fall into the well and how he lived in the house with his murderous aunt and house filled with ghosts. Then Chen Ge told the story about the Pen Spirit and the girl with depression. He realized that Zhang Ya had not awoken yet, so he also relayed the story about Men Nan's washing hair at night and the encroaching monster in his dream.
Finally, he stood at Xu Yin's perspective and told his bloody love story.
All his stories were real. When he was done, all the members were speechless. Just what kind of life he had lived?
His 'friends' were either sick or mad, and they would die every few years, but this fella was still alive and went there to share his story. Could it be that he was the real culprit behind all these stories?


The hearse with the weird odor slowed to a stop before the entrance. The sound of pebbles could be heard bouncing on the ceiling. There were footsteps coming from the corridor, and there seemed to be someone sawing next door. The door knob to the room rattled slightly, and the faucet in the bathroom kept dripping even though it had been screwed shut. There was a rubber ball that rolled on its own underneath the bed. Wet footsteps started to surface one after another on the floor. 
At 3 am, Chen Ge held a cleaver in his hand as he hid beside the room heater. The call he was trying to make was finally answered. "Landlord, is this what you meant by 'the house can be a little crowded at night'‽"

After seeing this I cleaned the full house and took a bathe. After taking bath , i ate my lunch . I was tired so I decided to a nap. When I got up I saw a girl standing in front of me and saying "I'm the ghost " Yes you thought correct in your school . "I was the one who dirty your house and that the sound , that was also me 

Listening the girl I was so frightened and shocked . But in my mind I thought that if she is a ghost so why she is telling all this to me like a friend ? Did she wanted a friend ? or she is just saying that  I have only 4days live ? i had many questions in my mind for the  ghost girl . I wanted to ask her that from where did she came from? and why she is making sounds and dirting me house ? is she came here for any purpose or just to irritate me  ? 

I wanted to know that it was real or I am in dream ? I wanted to find out so I decided to pinch myself and find out is it dream or real.I was hoping for the best that it is a dream. 

When I pinched myself it hurts,  so i thought that this means that the girl i mean "the ghost "is real I was in shock.  I have just heard this all things in stories but I never thought that it is real.

After that I fainted and and again slept. When I woke up I saw myself in my drawing room. I was thinking that when fainted I was on my bed but how I came in my drawing room ?For a  moment I thought that the ghost girl had took me from my bed and kept me here.I don't know what was happening  . I just wanted to know that why is that ghost girl doing all this with me ?

This is a story of a girl and a ghost become friends but for a reason the ghost finishes. so let's see, the girl's reaction , when she listened her ghost friend was finished. let's see who have done that with that ghost girl !

"Meme is an independent noun. To put it in simple terms, it can be described as viruses in the form of messages which continuously mutates as it spreads. It has similarities to the MD5 code in transcoders or the DNA fragment in ribosomes. The spread of memes is essentially the spread of information.
"For example, someone who sees something funny will naturally share it with the person. This is the transmission process of memes. The meme begins to spread when the next person to hear the joke shares it again with someone new.
"Humans have a natural incentive to spread the information they collect. This is otherwise known as a 'self-reward mechanism'. Simply put, spreading information brings people joy.
"To make themselves happier, people will gladly share something that may be entirely unrelated to themselves. Sometimes, they may even do so at their own expense, for example…"
"Celebrity worship."
Little X's voice could be heard passing through the speakers. With the research results in the Gantz dimension combined with applicable knowledge in the real world, Little X had almost figured out the mechanisms of the mysterious phenomenon.
She unloaded a stream of information to Chen Chen in hopes of providing more options for him when dealing with the mysterious phenomenon.
"Of course, the 'self-reward mechanism' of humans isn't a product of the digital era. Even in villages where there's simple gossip circulating around, local opinions also greatly differ from one another during ancient wartime. In the Yanhuang era, clans and tribes would exchange their agriculture and weapon craftsmanship knowledge. This dates as far back as the stone age when our ancestors preserved knowledge of building fire and crafting tools… This self-reward mechanism is deeply ingrained into human DNA. It was already present back when humans were still primates.
"Memes are viruses. They're extremely contagious and prone to mutations while also being extremely hard to control. In this current era of rapidly developing internet platforms, memes spread almost effortlessly.
"In this era dominated by the Internet connecting people around the globe, memes can sustain themselves longer while also spreading at a larger scale. Combine this factor with the mutational characteristics of memes that closely resemble viruses, I wouldn't be surprised if the Basilisk pattern eventually shows up in the real world in the future."
Little X explained, "Because the concept of memes encompasses a multitude of things. It can be a simple word, a sentence, a line of thought, it could even be a color. Memes are messages."
Chen Chen reflected thoughtfully on Little X's summary. "In other words, to a certain extent, the Basilisk images are an extreme rendition of mutated memes. It's this mutation that allows them to become agents of death, is that it?"
"That's an apt summary, but it's not completely true either."
Little X explained, "Common messages by themselves shouldn't be able to manifest itself physically to kill people. There should be another layer of mechanism that we're unaware of that is working behind these messages and directly causing the death of its recipients. If we can find out the working theory behind it, we may even be able to manufacture memes that fit our specified purposes."
"Are you suggesting memetic technology?"
This was an enthralling idea to Chen Chen. If he was able to somehow weaponize memetic technology, even nuclear weapons would have to take a backseat. Such technology could potentially wipe out entire civilizations effortlessly, even the technologically superior aliens could not withstand its might.
Unless the aliens possessed memetic technology in their arsenal as well.
Upon further contemplating it, Chen Chen shook his head, deciding that he was getting ahead of himself. If memetic technology was an essential aspect of modern civilization, then it made no sense that humans would equip it while aliens do not.
As it was, the reason that mankind had not been able to harness the potential of such technology was that such entities that posed a direct effect in the physical dimension had yet to appear in the real world.
Chen Chen frowned upon considering this. "That's not right, if physical manifestations of memes didn't exist in the past, then why are there so many ghost stories? Why is it that the products of the meme phenomenon are so similar to the 'ghosts' that humans have such a strong impression of?
"No, a better way to put it would be that it is these ghost stories that brought the memetic effect to fruition."
Little X explained, "You can think of it as a back-and-forth interaction between the message mediums. In the battle between humans and viruses, humans continuously develop antibodies to combat the viruses, don't viruses do the same thing as well? The motive of viruses isn't to kill humans, they're only doing it for reproduction and survival. Powerful viruses aren't able to continuously spread. It's the mild viruses that parasitize the human body and slowly fuse into one with humans to evolve together.
"It is the same for memetic effect. Perhaps it's the idea of ghosts in olden times that pushes meme mediums in the direction of the ghost stories shared by people. Still, this is only a small sample as this doesn't occur in most cases. For example, memetic effects such as 'Ghost in the Window' don't shape itself to reflect the ancient ghost stories.
"After you exit the isolation zone, we can start conducting experiments on the earliest form of memes, which are the Basilisk patterns."
Little X encouraged Chen Chen. "I believe that the secret of the memetic messages will be unraveled by us."
"Hold on!"
It was then when Yoru Kamidera became startled and cut into their conversation. "Your Excellency, previously you mentioned that the memetic effect shouldn't occur in this parallel dimension. In that case, are you not worried that researching these cursed things in this world will eventually plunge it into the same predicament as the other world?"
"There's no need to worry about this."
Little X explained, "I've already mentioned this before, the memetic effect could be said to be an essential part of technological development. Even if we don't research it, it'll eventually be discovered one way or another as we continue to advance scientifically. Besides, their mutation doesn't occur spontaneously. Just like regular viruses, it can only mutate continuously when it spreads outward.
"In other words, the emergence of various variations of memes in your previous world is caused by them spiraling out of control on the Internet. As long as we contain the range of its spread, we can get a handle on the meme itself."
"Isn't there always the possibility of something going wrong?"
Yoru Kamidera appeared to be terrified of this thing. After finally getting away from the d*mnable world, he was about to witness Chen Chen and his crew researching the very thing responsible for his world's destruction. He asked in a quaking voice, "What if something went wrong? Does that mean this world is doomed as well?"
"It's unavoidable."
Little X explained sheepishly, "Nuclear energy can lead to the destruction of mankind, but why does each country still insist on researching it? Antimatter is more dangerous than nuclear energy, has that ever stopped the major forces of the world from researching it? This is because they don't only have the potential to destroy the world, they can also change the world and help mankind take the next step. It's the same for memes, it's not just a weapon. If utilized properly, it just might change our lives, just like the Gantz server machine."
"Little X is right."
Chen Chen nodded in agreement. "The journey toward the scientific progression of mankind had never been a smooth sail. Just because you choose to avoid these things doesn't mean they will cease to exist. Yoru-kun, it's time to change your attitude. You're the first person I've ever brought back from an alternate dimension, do you know why I chose you?"
"Because of my profound experience in memetic subjects…"
Yoru Kamidera was drenched in sweat at this point. He quickly lowered his head as if he was surrendering. "I understand now. Please forgive me for my previous comments. Your Excellency has nothing to worry about, I'll dedicate all my efforts to fulfilling your great vision!"

       Do you believe in ghost stories?. Well I certainly didn't, at a point though, not until I had my own share of horror. Yeah!, Just like the horror films, but the difference is that my experience is real and much more scarier than the movies.

I use to believe that ghost were fragments of the hyperactive imagination of the human brain, perhaps due to the pain of losing a loved one we can't seem to let go of.

Unfortunately that is the believe of a naïve Boy.  Ghosts are as real as day light.

The Davis family moved into an old mansion in a small town called Wentworth. The house is haunted but the parents were skeptics so do not believe in the stories the kids are telling them, not until the older child goes missing in the house and the younger daughter becomes possessed.

Now it was J-Hope's turn to select their third adventure. J-Hope invites everyone at his home. Everyone gather at J-hopes place.


"guys , from our first adventure i found out true meaning of adventure. It says fight our fear. So this time I wants to select a different kind of adventure . truly to fight my fear. I gave lot of thinking to it already and I wants to choose visiting a haunted place and stay over their whole night." J-Hope present his thought and next adventure in his mind  in-front of everyone. 

"Are you really in your right state of mind? It was totally unexpected from you." V surprisingly asked to J-Hope

"I know , I am the one who is scared cat in our whole group.But I wants to fight for my fear regarding ghosts." J-Hope replied to V.

" When it comes to ghost, I am scared cat too." Jimin replied to J-Hope in shocking tone

"There is no ghost like things in the world. So there is no reason to scare. I am in, to overcome your fear J-hope and now Jimin yours too. Suga confidently said to everyone.

"Right there is no real ghost. It was just a creature of human mind." Jin added his thoughts.

"I am agree with J-hope. Lets help him to overcome his fear." Namjoon cleared his thoughts and added his vote in yes favor.

"I am also agree with this . It sounds great. It gonna be a different experience for us. Last two adventure was adventure sport. I am ready for this new kind of adventure." Jungkook cleared his thoughts on visiting haunted place.

"Okay, lets say everyone is in favor of this adventure. Which haunted place we gonna choose?" Jimin asked J-hope.

"I am looking for it. I didn't come up with one until today, I will let you know tomorrow." J-hope answered Jimin's question.

"Don't choose any random place. We must feel thrill on this adventure." V commented to J-Hope.

"Actually the place in my mind is Asia's most haunted place 'Bhangarh fort'. But we needs some permissions from authorities. It was difficult to handle." J-hope replied back to V.

"Do you want me to die that early? or all of you try to kidding me" Jimin asked everyone without wasting any second.

"If everyone is ready for this  adventure I will manage every difficulties." Namjoon questions to everyone and willing to help with permission granting. 

Finally everyone agreed to visit haunted place and stay whole night over there. As Namjoon is an advertising company's CEO he got authorities permission by tricking them . He come up with a idea of filming documentary on Bhangarh fort.

On the last weekend of march, they went for their third adventure at Bhangarh fort. To make their excuse realistic Namjoon made sure bring all necessities for documentary shooting.

When they reached at Bhangarh, it was already 5;00 PM. After sunset no-one dares to stay at Bhangarh fort. So visitors already stared their way back from Bhangarh fort.
 
Bhangarh fort is noted as haunted place just because some people says they feels paranormal activities over there. It was a saying that there was spirits of Queen of Bhangarh Ratnawati and a Tantrik ( a devil magician).

Fort's main gate always closed at 6:00 PM. Just because they had permissions no-one dares to stop them. They entered through the main gate of fort. Sun was about to set. Its already 6:00 PM. They already gave one round around fort.

As they brought camera's with them, they decided to shoot videos of their every activity on fort. Now the sun is already set and time was about 7:00 PM. Moon shines bright in sky. Bhangarh already started to give different aura. Bhangarh looks different in daylight and now it gives scaring aura everywhere at night.

Jimin got nervous and more scared he ashed in scared tone, "What if we happened to see any ghost today? does anyone know how to get rid of ghosts."

"I did some research on internet but they seems pointless." J-hope answered to Jimin. He also looks pale and more scared than Jimin.

Suga started kidding J-hope and Jimin, "Oh! I know. I read in 'Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets'. When almost headless Nick ( Gryfindor ghost) becomes statue in corridor they used fanning to move him from corridor. You two just have to blow air by your mouth when you happened to see any ghost."

Everyone started laughing at Suga's answer.

"Okay, everyone listen first fill our stomach after that we will see what to do next and where to go." Namjoon offers everyone packed food.

Soon after they started eating someone suddenly snatched food from Jin's hand. Everyone got scared. 
Jin shouted loudly, "AAAAaaaaa" 

"What was that? Who snatched it from my hand? Is that any animal?" Jin asked surprisingly.

"I also think it was an animal." V gives answer who was little bit shocked too.

Jimin and J-Hope got scared a lot. They heard some sound coming from their right side. They gradually move towards the sound source. J-hope holds Namjoon's hand and Jimin holds jungkook tightly. They found out the source of sound. It was nothing but two monkeys were fighting over food. 

"Look J-Hope and Jimin. We found our first ghost today. Don't you think hese ghosts are familiar? one is you and another one is your younger brother Jimin." Jungkook find a reason to kidding J-hope and Jimin.

"And that younger brother is you Jungkook." Jimin gives shortest but perfect reply to Jungkook.

"As I say there is no ghosts in the world these are only humans minds creature. There is nothing weird here. To overcome your fear we reveled it for you and there were just animals who snatched my food."Jin said to lessen their fear and try to say there is no reason to get scare here.

" Lets reveled everything from which anyone gets fear. Try to show the world that it is only a myth. okay friends." V cleared his thoughts and hold camera straight to capture more and more proofs.

After 12:00 AM. They gives one round around whole demolished Bhangarh's market and other places around the main Bhangarh palace.

"Guys lets go towards that pool I heard it was famous for paranormal activities." Suga directed everyone to the pool.

When they reached at the pool there was board showing 'Do not enter. Water is poisonous. lots of poisonous  insects present here.'
" So it was the main reason. Peoples always makes ridiculous stories over something like that. It might be only for prevent peoples from these poisonous insects and water." Namjoon presents his thought.

"It was already 1;30 am . And there is nothing weird . We neither saw any paranormal activity nor any ghost. Whys does people scared others for no reason?" Suga complaining peoples who makes ridiculous stories on ghosts.

" Lets enter into the fort rooms lets see if we find anything." Jin suggested.

As they enters into the forts one room. something  approaches to them. It was in countless of numbers. Everyone runs outside of the room.

"what was that? Did anyone see what was that?" Jin asked while holding his breath.

"Is that ghosts doing ? I don't know what was that but I feels it was a small thing in numbers." J-Hope replied fast. He almost stop his breathing.

"OH! Stop it. There was no ghost. I was the first one  who enters. I had torch I flashed it on roofs part of room. so bats resting over there hates bright light so they were flying out from room to get rid of light." Jungkook clears everything to them showing real fact what he saw.

"Now they lessen the brightness of torch and enters into the room again. Room was totally empty. only thing present over there was some bats on roof.

" Guys today we saw our second ghost. It was no other than Mr. Bat." Jungkook come up with a small joke.

"Stop it jungkook. I was so scared that time. If you guys were not with me today I might run from here to my home." Jimin replied to Jungkook's joke

"I almost drop my heart today. I don't even know what I am doing." J-Hope replied to Jungkook to stop teasing.

One by one they visit every room including Queen Ratnavati's room. There is not a single sign of ghosts or any paranormal activity. It was already 3:30 AM . now they again back to outer side of Bhangarh. They only heard the voices of wild animals because surrounding area around Bhangarh is a forest. It was already 4:30 AM. They visits every place on Bhangarh fort. They decided for one more round around fort and corridor of fort. They just got to see some monkeys, peacocks , bats and wild animals voices from forests.

Now its already 6:00 AM. Main entrance opened for visitors. they started discussion on whole night experience. V records their discussion one by one.

"Firstly i was so scared but as the time goes by i become stronger to fight my fear and become more confident that there is no ghosts across the world" J-Hope becomes more satisfied because whole night make him stronger and gives his thoughts on todays experience.

" Its for me too. Now I am ready to visit most haunted place in the world." Jimin also feels he won whole world today. 

" horror stories are always good to read and watch. Just because peoples takes interests in horror stories some people links someone or someplaces to horror stories and try to scare Innocent  people." Jin cleard his thought.

" I agree with you. Just like this place. This place is so much beautiful. instead of ghost we found some monkeys, bats and some wild animals voices from forests." Suga commented on Jins thought.

" I think story might be to protect peoples from wild animals. Nothing more than that" Namjoon added his little bit thoughts.

" This journey becomes successful to overcome J-hope's and Jimin's fear. What we want from this adventure we already got that." Jungkook makes final statement.

Now everyone was tired because of walking a lot and not able to sleep whole night. They made their way back to hotel they booked. And the one night stay at haunted place ends here.

Seven friends Namjoon, Seokjin, Suga, J-Hope, V, Jimin, and Jungkook are busy in their normal working life. One day on V's birthday they recalled their memories from school days. How they causes problems , pulling pranks on others, naughtiness all those were beyond the limits.
everyone wants to recall those days with lots of fun and enjoyment. this  time they decided to do something BEYOND THE SCENE. They decided to do some ADVENTURE in life. Lets travel to see what they going to had in their adventurous journey.

At night, the sea breeze and the wind from the river clashed, like a woman sobbing.
The whole place was surrounded by green grazing lands. There were not many lights around, like a real countryside. It was perfectly silent, unlike the bustling city.
Mo Fan's group of three were invited along by Zhao Pinlin, Rong Sheng, and the others to join them at a campfire around a kilometer away from the hotel.
There was a little wooden shed close to the campfire. The roof was made of steel glass, allowing the people inside to see the beautiful night sky.
The night was quite cloudy. A huge part of the sky was lit up by stars, while the other parts were covered in clouds. The clouds were moving slowly, trying to compete with the stars for territory.
The wind was strong, and the night was chilly, but the bunch of young adults was enjoying themselves in the wooden shed. It had a fridge full of alcohol. The students also brought snacks and cooked food. In the center was a campfire made of cobbles. Everyone could easily add dried branches to the fire. It was the only source of light and warmth within a kilometer, resulting in an uneasy yet thrilling atmosphere.
Many people liked to go camping in the wild and setting up campfires. However, there were also bugs, mosquitoes, cold wind, and the darkness that made them feel uneasy. It was not as romantic as everyone imagined, but the atmosphere was perfectly suited to their needs. It was thrilling, clean, and comfortable enough. The students were easily lost in wild and fanciful thoughts. The light of the fire lit up everyone's face as they were sharing some exciting and scary stories. The place was soon filled with laughter, driving away the uneasy atmosphere...
The students could not help but agree that Zhao Pinlin's arrangement was perfect. He had successfully won the affection of a few girls in the group. They never knew he had come from such a wealthy background at school, and he was aware of what girls wanted.
"Come, let's take turns sharing some scary stories. If more than half of the group think it isn't scary enough, they must take that path to the top of the hill!" suggested Rong Sheng.
"I'll go first, you are all going to wet your pants," Mo Fan soon joined in. He was excited as soon as someone mentioned the term scary stories.
Mo Fan soon finished telling his story. The group of young men and women fell silent. One of the girls even suggested they go back to the hotel in a soft voice.
Mu Ningxue secretly stepped on Mo Fan's foot. This guy was trying to destroy the atmosphere!
Mo Fan was actually telling them his own experience at Yanming Temple. His encounter with Miyata was quite spooky, yet he purposely added more details to the story. He described Miyata as a ghost with only half her face left. He even described how the monks were tortured in full detail...
The scary stories that most people told were fake, thus the listeners could easily figure out the unreasonable bits. However, Mo Fan was simply telling them his own experience. The details were on point, it felt like they were right inside the story. Even Mu Ningxue felt a shiver as she recalled the incident!
"Humph, how childish!" Lingling was not impressed by Mo Fan's scary story.
"Well, I guess I'll go next... it's not really a ghost story, but some rumors I was told in Wuzhen," Rong Sheng immediately spoke out to cut the atmosphere.
"Quick, tell us."
Everyone desperately needed another story to clear their thoughts of Mo Fan's spooky tale.
"My brother is a Magician. To be more precise, he is a City Hunter in charge of the safety in Wuzhen... around two months ago, Wuzhen had a strange mist, and some locals went missing. My brother was placed in charge of the incident, so he went to investigate. Guess what happened there?" said Rong Sheng with a serious face.
"What is it?" Everyone knew about Wuzhen. Many of them had visited the place before. As such, they were all attracted by the story as soon as Rong Sheng started telling it.
"A moth woman!" Rong Sheng was quite an expert at telling stories. He purposely lowered his voice to make it sound spookier.
"Moth...moth woman?"
"Yeah, my brother told me that some locals actually saw her in person, and the mist wasn't really just a normal mist. It consisted of flying moths so densely packed together that it looked like a mist. Rumors said they were actually man-eating moths. Think about it, with moths as dense as a mist, even an elephant will be eaten within seconds, let alone a human..." said Rong Sheng.
"Please...please tell me it isn't true, I was planning to bring my girlfriend to Wuzhen!" yelled a young man.
"It's only some rumors. Maybe it's something the locals came up with, to attract tourists looking for an adventure," sighed Zhao Pinlin smilingly. His eyes under the golden-framed glasses seemed rather intelligent.
Rong Sheng chuckled. He did not continue the story.
"What he said was real, too," Mo Fan interrupted.
"Damn, not you again!" the young man jumped to his feet.
Rong Sheng was stunned. He looked at Mo Fan in astonishment.
"Unfortunately, I was there, too. When I was about to leave the town, I saw people like City Hunters entering the town. The mist was real, but the moth woman wasn't proven to be real yet. They weren't sure if the missing people were related to the moth woman either, they are just speculations," said Mo Fan.
Rong Sheng was a bit surprised that Mo Fan actually knew the details. He quickly added, "My brother agreed with the speculations, too!"
"But the case wasn't settled; they still haven't caught the moth woman," Lingling subconsciously added.
As a Hunter Master, Lingling did hear the rumors about the incident, too. It was one of the more bizarre cases recently. Since no one had posted a quest about it, the City Hunters were placed in charge. However, they still had not found out the truth. As a result, more rumors started spreading, and there were quite a few different versions.
"Wait, what did you mean… it was real, too?" A girl's eyes widened when she suddenly recalled Mo Fan's words.
"Holy crap, do you mean what you told us was real too?!"
"I want to go back!"
Mo Fan was left speechless.

Everyone took turns telling their stories. Soon, it was a girl called Guo Wenyi's turn. She was actually from Chongming Island, so she was basically a local.
"Wenyi, tell us something, otherwise you'll have to walk to the top of the hill yourself!" urged Rong Sheng.
Guo Wenyi seemed to be quite timid. She hesitated for a while before she finally spoke, "I did encounter something strange here, but I think it was only my imagination. One night, I went to visit my classmate in the neighboring town. My brother said he would come pick me up with his scooter, but he was too drunk. He didn't even pick up my call, yet I couldn't stay at my classmate's house, so I had no choice but to walk back to my town. It was only two kilometers away...it was fine at the start, but I suddenly picked up a foul stench, like the smell of a swamp."
Guo Wenyi came to a pause. The others were dying to know what happened next. However, Mo Fan's gaze sharpened as soon as he heard the description of the scent!
