"Are you serious?" Han Sen thought Ancient Devil was playing with him. He couldn't imagine how killing himself would solve anything.
Ancient Devil gave Han Sen a predatory grin. "Haven't you heard about dying and then being reborn? If you don't die, how are you supposed to dodge Super Space Slash?"
Han Sen had heard of rebirth before, but he didn't know what it had to do with Super Space Slash. He wanted to find a way to counter Super Space Slash because he wanted to live. What was the point of killing himself?
Ancient Devil pointed at Han Sen and said, "Before, we all swore to die like it was yesterday. And after, swore to live like today. Today, you are still alive. Then, what is the difference if you were to die yesterday?"
As he listened to Ancient Devil, Han Sen felt like he was lost in an impenetrable fog. He had no idea what Ancient Devil was talking about, but he knew that continuing to ask wouldn't improve the situation. Unless he agreed to let Ancient Devil go, of course. Otherwise, Ancient Devil would continue to avoid reaching the crux of the matter and explaining what was required to break Super Space Slash. Although in truth, the hints that Han Sen had received thus far weren't all that bad.
After leaving Destiny's Tower, Han Sen thought about what Ancient Devil had said to him. He still couldn't understand what the man was saying.
"Suicide... and dying yesterday... Being alive today... What is Ancient Devil trying to tell me?" Han Sen spent a long time thinking the matter over, but he couldn't quite figure it out. It felt like the concept was just beyond reach.
Suddenly, an invisible shockwave rolled through the air. Two shadows emerged from a quickly-gathering mist, and they landed on the plaza of the palace.
"Exquisite and Li Keer are finally here!" Han Sen exulted, once he looked closer to confirm that it was them. Ever since he had been locked up in this bottle world, he hadn't seen hide nor hair of Li Keer or Exquisite.
As both of them walked before him now, Han Sen didn't say anything. He knew Exquisite and Li Keer were only youngsters among the Very High. They wouldn't be allowed to make any important decisions. Even if they wanted to free Han Sen, they didn't have the authority.
"The scales across your body are gone!" Li Keer gasped, looking Han Sen over.
"Yes. I don't know why, but the scales just vanished. Can you ask the leader if I can leave now?" Han Sen said.
Exquisite and Li Keer looked at each other. It was as if they wanted to tell him something, but they were hesitant to actually say it. In the end, Exquisite ended up saying, "The leader still wants you to stay in the bottle."
"Does that mean he's going to keep me bottled up in here forever?" Han Sen said with a frown.
"Don't worry," Li Keer assured him. "We will try our best to show everyone that you aren't a threat. We will try to get your freedom back as soon as possible."
"My body no longer possesses the scales. Doesn't that help erase any suspicions they have about me?" Han Sen pointed out, but his voice didn't sound particularly hopeful.
Exquisite sighed. "If the scales had been removed by my people, of course, they wouldn't remain suspect. But now it seems that the scales have simply disappeared by themselves. I'm afraid the leader and the elders won't believe that the scales just vanished of their own accord and went away for good."
"That means I'm still to be trapped here?" Han Sen's mind had become placid once again. He didn't expect the Very High to let him go. He would have to escape using his own power.
Li Keer tried to provide comfort by saying, "We will try to help you in any way we can. You just need to hold out a little longer, okay?"
Han Sen wasn't a rookie who had only just started adventuring. He knew these were just words of comfort that wouldn't lead to any real changes in his situation.
"If I can't leave this place, can you bring me some books so that I'm not completely bored?" Han Sen asked flatly.
"What kind of books would you like to read? In a situation like this, I don't think our people will let you read any kind of geno art," Li Keer said, as straight as an arrow. She was often like that, telling Han Sen what he needed to know.
"No geno arts. I just want some books about philosophy and theology. Something about life and death would be best." Han Sen was hoping that these books might give him inspiration, perhaps revealing what Ancient Devil meant when he spoke of suicide.
"Let me find a way. We will try and get these books for you," Li Keer answered.
"Thanks a lot." Han Sen smiled.
"You're our silkworm. This is what we should be doing..." Li Keer trailed off halfway and fell silent. Han Sen's situation now was different. He wasn't really their silkworm anymore.
But Han Sen seemed to be doing better than they had expected. The way he casually spoke with them, he didn't sound as if he was going to be locked up forever.
Before they left, Exquisite told Han Sen, "I will tell the leader that the scales have disappeared. They will most likely send someone to examine your condition. But I don't think there is a high chance of you leaving. So, do not put too much hope in getting out soon."
"I understand," Han Sen said with a nod. He knew Exquisite had no authority in this matter, so the final say-so wasn't her decision to make.
Not long after they left, a Very High true god elite appeared before Han Sen. He checked Han Sen out and asked Han Sen some questions. Han Sen had already composed his answers a long time ago, so when he was asked what had happened, he had a story ready to go. The explanation wasn't entirely perfect because Han Sen kept trying to avoid talking about certain things. The Very High elder couldn't tell what was going on.
After the Very High elder left, no one came to see him for a few days. Han Sen spent the entire time practicing the Sit and Forget Sutra. Time passed rather easily.
"It has been a while since I saw Yanran and Ling'er. I wonder if Ling'er has grown up yet. And I wonder what is going on with Littleflower. Mom and Dad said they wanted to spend some time traveling. I wonder if they have come back yet..." Sometimes, Han Sen would get distracted as he thought about how much he missed his family.
"The Sit and Forget Sutra is completely different from Under the Sky. One of them is about entering the world, and the other is about exiting the world. Combining them will be hard. And I have never practiced Very High Sense before, so I have to use Under the Sky as a base. If I start from the beginning with my practice, I don't know how long it will take for me to learn the Sit and Forget Sutra." Han Sen had no way of accurately predicting when he would elevate the new skill to a usable level.
The Sit and Forget Sutra and Under the Sky were similar in structure, but according to the theory, they operated on different wavelengths. They were practically polar opposites. Even though he had managed to obtain the alpha's experience and mind, he couldn't combine the two techniques.
While Han Sen was stewing in his own frustration, a shadow appeared through the mist surrounding the palace. It was an old Very High man Han Sen wasn't familiar with.
The old man didn't speak. He only tossed something at Han Sen, then turned around and left.
Han Sen raised an eyebrow, having no clue what the old man had just done. He picked up the item and looked it over. It was a mini laptop, about the size of a person's hand.
Han Sen turned on the computer. He couldn't connect to the internet, but there were many ebooks inside it.
Now Han Sen understood. This was probably Li Keer and Exquisite's delivery.
Han Sen browsed quickly through the titles, and he realized that ebooks really were the only things that the computer contained. Most of the books were about philosophy and theology. There wasn't anything about geno arts, at all.
Han Sen hadn't really expected to find a geno art, anyway. He flicked through the books. With how much his brain had evolved, it was an easy task for him to memorize the exact contents of a book with a million words. He could recall the content perfectly, without forgetting a single word. Understanding it, however, was something else entirely.
"Flush Real Sutra." Han Sen jerked when he saw the title of one of the books.

Hello to my dearest readers of 'Get Back to You,'
Volume 3 ends finally. If I think, Volume 3 is the biggest of all right now. What a long trip we had.
A new journey is going to start soon.
I'm writing this chapter, especially to thank you for the love and support I received until now.
To everyone who chose to give my novel a try and began enjoying the story,

Enough of formal talk, so guys, I have been revisiting the previous chapters, right from the start, and I found myself cringing to a few places.
Some of you are aware, but anyways, I am re-drafting from the start, especially volume 1 and 2, because I think when I reached volume 3, my writing improved and I happen to learn a lot during the volume 3 journey.
It made me a better writer, and I'm proud of myself for putting in the hard work and learning from every chapter.
That is why I want to re-edit the old chapters to give a more polished look. The process is going on for now.

Why?

My dream is to release 'Get Back to You' as a book series.
Well, first, I'm planning to release them as Ebooks and later find a reliable publisher to publish the hardcopies.
I have some ideas about the book cover designs. I hope you guys can buy a copy when it gets released.
That's the future that I am working on side by side.
Now, coming onto the important part,
I AM GOING ON A BREAK THIS MONTH AND WILL RETURN ON NEW YEAR.
One of the main reasons to take a break is to rest my hands. I write for hours, and the editing consumes a lot of time too. Right now, my hands got succumbed to the pain.
Lifting a saucepan is difficult for me now; that's how much I lost power in my hands.
I am also taking this break to storyboard the rest of 'Get Back to You.'
Break for me means- I have a lot of behind the scenes work to do for my novel.
If you guys noticed, I also have another novel that is on pause currently.
That is another beautiful story that I plan on continuing next year.
Also, I want to read books.
I want to check out a lot of stories that are pending to read.
Reading more will improvise my writing, which in turn will give you a great reading experience.

Get Back to You is very special because it is my first novel and a bold choice, I would say. The once short story showed a lot of potentials to become a perfect novel. The character had a depth to them and an unheard voice, for which I wanted to bring justice by exploring and writing. Just like how we would enjoy a typical romance story between two opposite sexes, I wanted to tell a sweet love story of two beautiful women. Through this novel, I wish to improve people's viewing of LGBT relationships and hope that we show respect without judging.
Join the adventure of Lillian Grey and Giselle and in their struggles to come together. I'm very proud of creating this story, and I constantly work hard to bring justice to its storytelling. I hope that my efforts reap when the readers enjoy the tale as they travel through this journey.

The portrait of my father is complete. Millie proposes that we should post it on the internet forums with the nickname 'Zach' while Abigail recommends posting the posters all over the city.
Baek Joon Woo thinks that both ideas are good, especially if Zach lives in another city. Someone would recognize him and come to them.
Maisie rubs Oliver's head and kisses his cheek. The boy blushes hard, batting his eyes as he turns his face toward her when she leans closer to kiss his cheek again. Her lips brush against his lips before she pulls away and scolds him for stealing her kiss in front of everyone.
Everyone laughs except Millie. She shrugs and returns to the computer. Her fingers move on the keyboard with dexterity. I realize something then. 
Whether I want to do it or not, I always end up speaking, laughing, and reacting as if I am on autopilot.
What is going on? None of this feels real.
We return to the classroom. Abigail, Samantha, Maisie, and I are in the same class while Baek Joon Woo, Nick, and Millie are in art class. We only share one common class: that is English.
Oliver is a junior. His schedule is completely different from us.
Killian's seat is next to mine. He greets me politely, and my response is mechanical. 
"Are you a fae?" I lean closer to him and whisper. The statistics teacher is scribbling equations on the board. It's fine as long as the teacher doesn't notice us talking.
"If I say yes?" Killian whispers back in the same curious tone. "Would you stop being my companion?" 
"I heard that fae folks take advantage of people." I frown at him. "You also…"
I shut my mouth. My mother told me not to acknowledge that he helped me. Baek Joon Woo thinks that running away won't solve our problems. He wants to get her blessing. His parents will also talk to her.
But I know that she won't change her mind.
Finding my biological father might work. Maybe she will stop comparing Baek Joon Woo and my biological father. 
"If I wanted to take advantage of you, I know plenty of ways since you asked me to get you out of the maze." He grins slyly. "But I only want your companionship as I am not used to the human world."
This person is interesting, but I can't trust him. I pinch my lips together, evaluating him in silence. I did ask him to help me. If my mother's words were true, he did have many ways to get me indebted to him.
"I won't hold any debt for helping you get out of the maze. The fae folks don't lie," He adds, knitting his brows. He seems offended by my distrust. "You can confirm it with the person who told you about the fae folks."
He seems to be telling the truth. I let it go, despite a shadow of a purlieu of doubt in my heart.
"We are friends or companions, whatever you meant," I say to him. "Why are you in the human world?"
"I am looking for someone." His tone is slightly dismissive; he doesn't want to talk more about it. "Let's talk later."
Killian turns his head toward the board and starts scribbling down on his notebook. 
His dark eyes are focused while his pale fingers copy the content on the board.
I wonder why a fae folk is interested in statistics. Do they need to use it in the fae world?
I don't know much about the fae folks; it's unlikely that I will find out more about them from my mother because she and I are unlikely to speak civilly. 
Something is not right about this: I just have the feeling, although I can't point my finger on it. I am sure that I was anxious about something before I came to the classroom. 
What was it again? I know that it's not related to my pregnancy or my mother.
After the class is over, I tell Maisie and the others to go to the clubroom without me since I have to give a school tour to him. 
"Well, I owe you a school tour," I tell Killian while we talk toward the library, "though I am sure that you know everything about it already."
There is no way that someone who can cross a maze won't figure out the ways of the school. 
"Maybe I just want to be your friend." He chuckles. "What do you like to do in your free time?"
Is he flirting? I decide not to think too much about it. "I like studying in my free time."
He laughs. "That's boring."
"I am a boring person."
"I doubt it."
"You don't know me." I glance at him. "That's why you doubt it."
His eyes twinkle with wonder. "I want to get to know you." 
I don't want to be a girl who doubts every male's interests in her. Nick and Oliver are also my friends. Maybe he wants to know me as a friend. "This is the library."
Five shelves are stacked with outdated books. The library is completely empty except for the old librarian who is reading a newspaper. Only ten large shelves are stacked with books related to the high school curriculum. 
In the age of ebooks, students don't like to come to the library, especially when there are rumours about a library ghost playing pranks on the students. 
Our school library is worse than the public library in the city. 
"It's… cosy," Killian hesitates. "At least, there are books."
He seems like someone who can't speak a lie: he did mention that the fae folks aren't good at lying. 
"You can find the reference book here." I tell him in a low voice, "Come with me. I will show you." 
Killian follows me to the shelf that has books related to statistics. He picks a book and flips through the pages. I wonder where I should take him next. 
I have many questions to ask him, but I am not sure how to ask him without getting a debt. 
"Old places usually have ghosts," He murmurs. "There is one behind you."

Author's Note: English is not my primary language so pardon my French :)) no to grammar nazi but i'm welcome to any positive criticism (you know what i mean) This story were created inside my sister's dream so all rights reserved to me cause she doesn't have wattpad nor does she likes writing so let's roll! By the way, this is a fast paced story since it's one shot so no to elaborated details.

Alexandra Sky Sandoval is a 16-year-old who loves staying at home reading eBooks, playing choices or some random RPG games, loves eating salty and junk foods and be lazy since school won't start at least for another one more month so it was really a backbreaking circumstance for her to be out and about. Well since her Mother, Angelita Sandoval, asked her that she needs company, whether she likes it or not so even though she is itching to read some eBooks on her phone she can't since her Mother 'lovingly' took her phone for safekeeping while they are now walking in a congested mall in Divisoria, Manila. Her Mother stops at every shop, keeps bidding on half the price of something she finds 'unique' with the saleslady. 

Sky just wants to sit back and watch her Mother go to anywhere she would like and wait for her to come back once she's done, however she needed to be by her side since she easily gets dizzy. She really wants to whine but since her Mother is having a good time she shuts her mouth. 

Angelita saw her daughter's scowling face so she asked her to sit somewhere not to dampened her mood. Sky sit somewhere near since she is still worried that her Mother will get dizzy due to heat, she just sits there while watching some news with the old ladies from a store nearby.

Sky wasn't really paying attention to the news, but when she saw her favorite anchor, Sabina Santillan, she sits up straight and listened carefully. The anchor stated "United Nations are afraid that food shortage will be just another problem the whole world will be facing if our population keeps on growing, rapidly. As you can see on our screen that as of today we now have, roughly 60 billion people and counting. So United Nations are making sure we will not end up with war just for food resources. Based on UN Philippine Representative, Ms. Santos, they are currently on an experimental stage of something big that will help our problem on population growth."

"I'm done. Let's eat before we go home." Angelita stated and drop half of the stuff she is carrying. She passes 15 or so plastic bags to Sky. Angelita walked to a nearby fast food chain with Sky in tow. Sky was thinking and guessing what does the United Nations' solution will be? They went inside the fast food chain happily since Sky will be having her fill after the dreading way of shopping.

Sky is in front of her phone, searching for answers on her homework that seems only her teacher knows. But since it's already 6 in the afternoon she needs to go down and have dinner with her family, she took that as a break and will continue later on. Her mother is a housewife since with her conditions she really can't do any hard labor work, her father, Angelo, is a taxi driver in a small company, her older sister, Claire, is a saleslady and a single mother of 2. Her niece and nephew started studying in a kinder garden school nearby. Her older brother, Raan, died a few years back due to Brain Cancer so her parents are still working their asses off to paid off the remaining bill they left in the hospital, nearly 600,000.00 pesos more. So right now, they are living pay check to pay check, squeezing every cent they have to make sure they can eat at least thrice a day. While having dinner, Angelo, turned on the TV to watch some news and turn the volume up.

The anchor right now is reporting a news about the drug and corruption that never ended and in every corner of this country. They continued eating until the reporter changed to a new information. The anchor said "United Nations have verified that they now found the new innovative planet that people can live on. They found a new Earth, a second Earth where we can start afresh. United Nations informed us that already send a lot of Engineers, Doctors, Farmers, Professors, and such prior to the experimental stage. They made sure that the second Earth will be livable, that once our people here on planet Earth go there, there will be houses, food sources, and such, everything that we lack here will be abundant there. All United Nations' Representatives and Government officials agreed that all of the white-collar worker will be the second batch to be send on second Earth. Families will be chosen carefully by our UN Representative, Ms. Santos and our Senators. Further news will be announced soon. Thank you for watching Z News." When Angelo turn off the TV, he was more than shocked and speechless, he also has hope. For his kids and grandkids, to have a better life, a better future. So, she immediately asks his youngest daughter to go search what will be the requirements so that they can join the program and be sent to second Earth. Sky made sure to search every detail she can get and find. She wanted to get to the second Earth with her family. This Earth is deteriorating little by little. Earth itself is filled with trash and toxic. People on Earth slowly giving in to their animal instinct, survival of the fittest, the greed to gain everything for yourself or for your loved ones. Each day, in their city, police will have found at least one dead body. It's not getting safe since sources are getting limited. Once she finds all the details that are needed to be part of the second batch traveling the second Earth, she wrote it down. Hope will be within sight.

"Congratulations Mr. Sandoval, you and your family will be part of the second batch travelers. We will be picking up your family at the airport the day after tomorrow so we can head back to the United Nations Headquarters and wait for the remaining travelers so we can take off to the second Earth." Mr. Rosario, a government representative in their city that are handling second batch travelers. "Thank you so much Mr. Rosario, it means the world to me, to us, that we will be joining the travelers to see a better future. Please keep up doing your good work." Angelo said with teary eyes. UN stated that half of the people here will be going to second Earth the remaining half will stay here to make sure that our home planet, our original Earth will also have a second chance and become a better place as well. Two days after, the Sandoval's and other qualified families gathered at the airport. Some were excited, others are nervous and questioning, will the government really help them?

As promised by the government they can live at the second Earth with ease, they all just need to help improve and maintain for the upcoming people that will also live there. Manual labor is needed; however, no one will be getting paid. But they will have free meal thrice a day as well as free education. Although from then on, no one is allowed to reproduce otherwise approved by the Council on the second Earth.

As they went to B50, all of them were advised to line up and washed up. They were given a grey jumpsuit, white shirt and undergarments. Once everyone was done, they were advised to go up to B49 for their last meal here on Earth. It was a joyous and loud celebration.

Pablo turned on his television to watch the world-wide show for the launch of a wide rocket ship that will travel all the second batch travelers to second Earth. There were two rocket ships to be launched today to send 500 people to the second Earth. He was happy for his friend. United Nations are airing not only their take off but as well as their travel from Earth to the second Earth to their landing there. They will also televise the first few days of the second batch travelers.

Pablo made sure to watch the travelers, to watch the show closely, so he can see his friend and be at ease. For exactly five days, it was being aired world-wide, the life of all travelers in the second Earth. He was happy to know that at last his friend found the peace and solemnity he was searching for and he deserved. He shut down his television and start working.

"Mom, it's our sixth day here, I am so happy that we are one of the people that are chosen to live here in the second Earth." Sky said as they plant trees and crops. Her mother smiled at her but suddenly she felt dizzy. Her mother came to her aid but she's slowly losing consciousness. She can hear some beeping noise as well as some whispers, like people chatting and laughing. She saw nothing but darkness but can hear some noises.

"It's a good thing that now the population are reduced, we can now somehow live a better life. United Nations really done a great job with our ordeal."

"I agree and it's nice that we are part of the remaining people here. Those people are still lucky they were poised the moment they finished their foods and now with the HyperVR they are dreaming together of a happy life not feeling any pain."

"True. On the 6th day their body will have multiple organ failure, dying on their sleep. The HyperVR is great as well as the video editing of the rocket launch that people thought really happe. But there's really nothing they can do since people are carelessly giving birth and making our planet overblown with population. The remaining here in Earth should be the rich, the laborers, the genius, the United Nations workers and the governments. And I'm so happy to be part UN workers, at least, we and our family are safe."

"I second the motion. Those people believed that there is a second Earth. As if? It's like 0.00000001% in hundreds of hundreds of hundreds of billion probability. Were Chinese card games fun?
The ansswer differed from person to person, as everyone had different tastes.
Many said that card games were crude, monotonous, and repetitive, all of which are true.
But... they were quite profitable!
Being profitable meant the players approved of it.

First was the collecting and level-up cards. This was built on the players' recognition of the character cards.
