I ran to my room. I slammed my door and locked it. I jumped toward my bed and started to cry.

"Jerk. Why does he have to be a jerk?" I questioned myself. 

I couldn't stop crying over Jafar.

Why was I such an idiot when I was a kid? Anyway, someone must have deleted my memories. But who exactly? 

"Averyanna, I'm sorry. May I come in?"

I got out of bed, pissed off, unlocked the door and opened it. Jafar was in front of me. I was still crying but I didn't care because he wouldn't mind. I looked at Jafar straight in the eyes and said "In your dreams." I slammed my door and locked it. I was standing heartbroken and decided to take a warm bath. I needed to calm myself. 

I walked to the bathroom and opened the door. My bathtub and sink was a little different. I closed the door and locked it. I started to get undress as I was feeling heat all around my body. I turn on the faucet and turn on hot water. I didn't want to take a shower so I decided to take a bubble bath. The water was already steaming and I enjoyed it. 

I took a step in my tub and felt satisfied already. It was so hot and comfortable, it felt like home. 

Wow, myself does enjoy hot water. I'm surprised I didn't change. I'm still the same. Somehow, why am I getting a weird vibe about this situation? I'm in the bathtub and I locked the door but why does it feel like someone is going to barge in any second? It's not like anyone would just do that to an innocent young lady.

I heard a loud bang in my room. I remembered that I locked my door with my own hands. What the hell is going on? Another bang entered but this time it was in my bathroom. 

"Ahh! Dark, I will so get you!"

I noticed that Stone was in my bathroom. He was on the floor, beaten up while bleeding very slowly on his arm. The door was knocked down because of Dark and Stone! I was so embarrassed because Stone was in the bathroom while I'm taking a bath. I tried to cover myself but all I could use was my hand. I screamed of how embarrassed I was.

What a total nightmare.

After 10 minutes of getting dress and doing my hair, I decided to yell at my brothers.

"You idiots! How dare you enter a lady's room and their own privacy session of taking a bath?! Do you know how old I am?" I questioned them because I was disappointed of them for entering my room and breaking the walls. My room was damaged because of these idiots.

"Sorry, sis. We were just having fun.," said Dark having a smile on his face.

"Ugh, whatever. I'm in a bad mood right now so please just leave me alone for the time being.," I said while I was about to leave to go and get some fresh air.

"Wait, wait. Why don't we play hide-and-seek?" asked Stone. Stone grabbed my shoulder and pulled me to him. We were facing each other and he was smiling so brightly. How could he smile when he destroyed my wall and my bathroom door? 

After realizing my past self, I seemed to change my attitude like I was some badass bitch who was a boss of everyone after what Jafar said to me. It really breaks my heart to see myself like this.

"No, I don't want to play.," I said firmly to my older brothers.

"Come on, we can play in the dark.," said Dark. "You know you love to play in the dark. Besides, Dark is my name."

"Fine, I'll play with you two. Can't be that scary because all of us are demons.," said Dark as his eyes turned bloody red. His eyes looks like he drank blood and that gave him courage to play this devil game with his siblings. I looked at Dark with an evil smile. I said "Indeed. Let's play then."

"Before we play let's invite Silver and Jafar's Siblings. Come on, more people in this game the more fun this game gets.," said Stone since he wanted to get more people to play this game. 

"Good idea, bro. What do you think, sis?" asked Dark being so curious. I thought about it because Jafar did mention this. He has a mind of my older brothers. Did destiny really brought us together or could it be fate?

"Yeah, okay. Just like Stone said 'More people in this game the more fun this game gets.'"

"Then it's settle. Let's find Jafar and his siblings.," said Dark. He was so excited to play this game.

{Demons enjoy playing hide-and-seek in the dark. It makes it hard to see but some demons has the ability to see in the dark. Fascinating, yeah, I know but for the demons who can't see, it takes practice for them to unlock that ability. Anyway, that's just one ability that demons can use to play the Devil Game.}

Stone said "Sis, you know where Jafar lives. Why don't you find him? If you do find him tell his siblings that they're invited. I am giving you the option to tell them." I was getting frustrated because of Stone's lecture. I said "Alright, I understand." 

I was already running to go and find Jafar even though I didn't want to but I was happy to see him. Wait, why am I happy to see him after what he said to me? Ugh, whatever it's in the past. I hope he doesn't mind but I should apologize to him. 

I stopped running because I found his house. It was a white mansion and it looked so nice. It has so many windows. The front yard has a fountain in front of the mansion and it was so unique. How can Jafar's parents afford this? This is impossible!

Why am I getting a feeling that I've been here before? Was it because I've been here from the future or maybe from my past?

I knocked on the door. I said "Hello? Anyone there?" I knocked once more. I felt the door open before I can knock one more time. I see a boy with red hair and red eyes. I smiled brightly and said "Hey, Wolf. Do you want to play with me and my siblings? We're playing hide and seek in the dark. Your siblings are invited." Wolf smiled for the first time and said "Sure. I gotta ask my mother and father. You can come in and sit down on the couch." I smiled at him and said "It would be my pleasure and thank you." 

I sat down on the couch waiting patiently as I looked around the house while sitting still. Wow, the mansion is full of white. Does white represent something in this house? If so, what could it be? I'm so curious.

"Um, who are you?" asked the little girl. She had long white hair maybe around her butt and blue eyes. She was holding a teddy bear with her right hand. She looks exactly like Jafar. Is this his little sister? She looks like my age but maybe a little younger.

"I am Averyanna Blade. It's a pleasure to meet you.. um?" I don't know her name but she is so adorable. 

"I am Kill Kill.," she said with no emotions at all. She seems scared of me. Is she scared of me?

"Woah. Kill is your first name and your last name. That's cool! I'm 5 years old. What about you, Kill?" I asked politely with no harm. 

"4. I don't think I'm suppose to be talking to strangers." She said feeling scared. Is it possible that she's terrified of me? I said "No, no. I'm Jafar's friend. I wanted to invite you and your siblings to play with me. It would be fun." I wanted to bring her to play with my siblings and but I guess she took it the wrong way.

"Averyanna, my parents said yes but Kill isn't allow to come. She's still a baby and it would be dangerous for her to come and play with us.," said Wolf as he ran toward me. I sighed and said "Aw. She's cute though." Wolf chuckled and said "I know but we can't. Let me go and get Jafar. Let's see if he wants to come." Wolf was running to go upstairs to get Jafar. I said "Okay." 

I started to wait for Wolf to come with Jafar. I was nervous for some reason but why? Why am I nervous all of a sudden? Was it because I really wanted Jafar to come or what? Why do I really like him?

"Hey, Averyanna. Jafar's coming."

I stand up, feeling nervous, and said "Hey, Jafar." He looked pissed as he looked at me. For one second of looking at me he decide to look away and ignore me. Wolf said "Averyanna, where do you live?" I smiled and said "I'll show you. It's not that far." Wolf smiled and said "Alright. Come on Jafar." Jafar said "Let's get this over with. Wolf, Averyanna grab my hand and grab each other's hand." I grabbed Wolf's hand with my left hand and grabbed Jafar's hand with my right hand. Jafar closed his eyes and out of nowhere, we were at my house. I said "How did you do that?" Jafar didn't answer me but gave me a look. I felt guilty of what I did to him. 

Wolf said "Don't mind him. He gets like that sometime. Anyway, where are Dark and Stone? It's been a while since I played with them." I looked around and said "I don't know. There were right here." 

Suddenly, Stone and Dark appeared. There were running like they are playing tag or something. I yelled "Dark, Stone! Jafar and Wolf are here. Kill couldn't come due to her age." Dark laughed and said "Wolf, my man. How have you been? Oh, yeah I knew that because Silver is the same way, sis." Wolf and Dark hugged each other and said "I'm doing fine. How long has it been since we last talked? Two years ago?" Dark said "Yeah, I think so. Anyway, how's life treating you?" Wolf said "Eh, okay, I guess. It's kinda gay but I'm loving it." We all laughed. Stone said "Shall we play rock paper scissors to see who will be the seeker?"

We all put our hands in the center of all us and started to play.

"Rock.."

"Paper.."

I closed my eyes because I couldn't bare to see if I was going to be seeker. I don't want to be seeker.

"Scissors!"

I opened my eyes and I had rock. Everybody else had scissors. I screamed of happiness and said "Yay! I'm not seeker." Jafar giggled and smirked at me. I felt afraid of what he was going to do. Stone, Dark, Wolf and Jafar had to play rock paper scissors. After playing that we finally found out who was the seeker.

Everybody laughed except for the seeker.

"Come on, let's play that again. I can't be the seeker.," said Stone feeling so helpless and embarrassed. Dark said "Bro, deal with it. Give us 30 seconds to hide but first let's turn off all the lights." Before playing we needed to turn off all the lights. It became dark and I could barely see with my ability. I was looking for everyone else but I couldn't. I remember tripping on something.

"Ow..," I said feeling injured on my legs. "Ow, watch it, will you?" said someone who I clearly knew. I looked at the person and said "Jafar? What are you doing on the floor?" I asked with some curiosity in my eyes. Jafar said "Well if you get off of me I will tell you." I got off of Jafar recklessly and said "Sorry. Um.. I'm sorry about before." Jafar said "It's fine. It wasn't your fault. I already forgave you." I felt happy and said "Really?!"

I looked at Jafar with my ability on and was happy about what he said toward me. He said "Yeah. Anyway, what are you doing here? We already started the game without you." I was shock and said "Then we have to hide. Tell me your story in a bit then." I grabbed Jafar's hand and started to run. 

I ran outside and it was already dark. That's strange, why is it dark so early? 

"Where are you, Dark? Wolf?"

I said "Come on, Jafar. We can't get caught." Jafar grabbed my hand this time and started to take the lead. I felt happy once again. Jafar took me to his secret hide out and said "This should be good. How are feeling?" Jafar looked at me and I blushed. I said "I'm feeling okay." Jafar and I sat down on the ground and he said "You know, when you tripped I thought you were Stone. You scared me, you know that, right?" I laughed and said "Sorry. Can you tell me what you were doing on the floor?" Jafar said "I got lost in your house and I tripped over something. Funny, right?"

I giggled of how funny that was. He's such a cutie. I placed my hand on the ground and realized it wasn't the ground. It was Jafar's hand. I blushed and said "Sorry." I panicked and felt weird. Jafar grabbed my hand and started to hold it. He placed his head on my shoulder and said "Don't move. Just stay still." I smiled and said "Okay." 

After 10 minutes, Jafar and I fell asleep. Seemed like Stone couldn't find us. After another 10 minutes passed by I woke up with a bad headache.

"Erase their memories. It's mom's orders and we better follow them."

"But this is cruel. I don't want to erase sis's memories."

"Stop complaining and do it!"

"Stop.. Just what are you doing?" I questioned as I fell asleep once again.

"Another normal day in my normal life"I said as I walked out of the front door. a hour later I come back with chicken and corn and lots of other stuff (that I don't wanna get into because I'm lazy) "Time for some Wolf evolution!"I yelled as I walked to my Xbox X. I started it and selected Wolf evolution. "Welcome back to Wolf evolution!, Would you to use your save or new game!" I selected new game. "Woofunderful, Please put a name to start your adventure!" I put in Tri. "Are you ready to start!,hit the play button!" I went to press A when the ground shook."What was that?" I went outside and saw a building crashing onto my house. "Did I play too much wolf evoluti-" Before I could finish my sentence, I got crushed. I looked around and saw only black."Is this hell, I thought I was good" "This is not hell or heaven"A Mysterious voice said."Well then where am I" I asked the voice. "Your in a reincarnation zone, where you get reincarnated" "What!" I was surprised. "Your being reincarnated, what do you want to be" "I Have a idea!, I wanna be in a game called Wolf evolution but I wanna be able to level up faster" "Got it" The voice said as Tri disappeared.

Zhao Fu did not attack the people who were sent back to report. Zhao Fu looked at the captain next to him, and he understood and brought his men to give chase and kill the remaining Wolfmen.
The two beautiful women and their guards watched this scene in shock. They felt that Zhao Fu was simply too terrifying; he had killed 500 soldiers instantly with a single strike. Even someone in the Saint Realm would not be able to do something like this.
Immediately, they felt quite delighted. If Zhao Fu was so powerful, they would not have to worry about any danger and they would be able to stay alive.
Zhao Fu's gaze fell on the two beautiful women as he lightly smiled and said, "Come with me!"
The two beautiful women shyly nodded. The gentle-looking woman gave the little boy to their guards to look after; the guards naturally knew what Zhao Fu was going to do, which was have his way with the two women.
However, the little boy did not understand and seeing his mother leave, he called out, "Mother, where are you going?"
The gentle-looking woman's face went red; she naturally could not say that she was going to do it with someone other than his father. As such, she could only say, "Ling'Er, wait here; mother will be back soon. This sir just wants to play a game with mother."
Hearing that they were going to play a game, the little boy excitedly called out, "Mother, I want to play as well!"
The gentle-looking woman shyly replied, "You can only play after you've grown up. You're still too young, so listen to mother and stay here, okay?"
The little boy looked quite disappointed but he still nodded.

Within Azure Wolf City, a massive explosion sounded out as a terrifying aura spread out, sweeping through the entire City. Countless people looked terrified, not understanding what had happened.
A ferocious-looking big Wolfman led an army over with an unsightly expression and called out, "Who are you, sir? Why have you descended so domineeringly above our City?"
Zhao Fu coldly laughed as he said, "Dead people don't need to know!"
The ferocious-looking big Wolfman felt quite startled and loudly gave the order to attack. Arrows quickly shot towards Zhao Fu and sword lights and saber lights also flew towards him.
Zhao Fu turned into a ray of light and looked quite disdainful as he slashed out with his sword. An enormous blood-red sword light shot out with terrifying power, hacking apart the incoming arrows, sword lights, and saber lights, and it blasted into the army. Countless people were chopped into pieces and cries sounded out.
The ferocious-looking big Wolfman's face paled and understood that even the whole City added together would not be a match for Zhao Fu. He immediately gave the order for the soldiers to charge up while he quickly ran away.
Countless soldiers roared and rushed at Zhao Fu, and Zhao Fu slashed out another sword light that easily cut their bodies apart without any resistance, dyeing the ground red.
Just like that, 70,000 or 80,000 soldiers were killed by Zhao Fu, creating a bloody and gory scene.
Zhao Fu caught up with the escaping ferocious-looking Wolfman and said condescendingly, "Did you really think you could escape?"

The remaining people looked terrified and either madly tried to escape or knelt down and kowtowed, showing that they were willing to submit. The City was in utter chaos and all sorts of crying and howling continuously sounded out.
The most powerful Wolfmen City had fallen just like that in front of absolute power, without any ability to resist.
Zhao Fu searched the ferocious-looking Wolfman's body and found a Wolf City Jade. He disregarded the other Wolfmen and came to the City Hall to have a good taste of the City Lord's wife before he left, but he found that the City Lord was not interested in women.
As such, Zhao Fu felt slightly disappointed and left for the last Wolfmen City.
News of Azure Wolf City being destroyed quickly spread to here, and countless Wolfmen gathered together and held weapons, looking serious as they prepared to defend against that terrifying expert.

Because of what Fang Lin did against them, the brat was highly pissed against him. Not only did he lose the stone fragment, he also pissed off the Fifth Stage Undead Wolf. Were it not for his family's sacred artifact, they would have been immediately killed by the wolf already.

"He, just watch and learn. For now, you should rest and prepare first. I know that with their intelligence, those three bastards will have survived the Fourth Stage. But I am sure that they are in dire straits."

Bloodspear wielded his spear, which started to glow bright red as Fang Lin felt extreme bloodlust emanating from the said spear. Mina on the other hand, stayed behind Fang Lin as she fiddled with her talismans.
Fang Lin who was in the puppy form, could only show his excitement by baring his teeth. He stared at the direction where the duo was travelling. He gave a mock salute with his right paw(arm) as if he was commending them for their bravery.
"Yip! (Try to survive, you bastards!)"

"Hmm?" As they entered the boundary of the Fourth Stage Area, Old Shi and Shi Hao immediately noticed something fishy. 
Just like the descriptions, the Fourth Stage Area was filled with Fourth Stage Undead. Even right now, Shi Hao could see 20 Fourth Stage Undead milling around. But what made him mad and confused as the fact that each of these beasts has the aura of the stone fragment! 
Because he had lost possession of the stone fragment, Shi Has was not that sensitive to the aura of the stone fragment anymore. But years of it on his possession made his senses to unconsciously be attuned with it. This means that even with the stone fragment not with him, he can still feel its presence as long as it was near him.
But this feeling will be a thousand times weaker than normal.
This was Shi Hao's dilemma now. He sensed this weak aura of the stone fragment from each of the Fourth Stage Undead that they passed by. Old Shi could only see Shi Hao's dumbfounded expression as he run continuously.

Each and every one of the Fourth Stage Undead that they pass by all had the same aura of the stone fragment!
"Don't tell me the stone fragment got destroyed already?"
"Shi Hao, stop that nonsense! I am sure there is a trickery involved here. As for what that is, it does not matter, as I have already deciphered their intentions."
"Really Old Shi! You really are great! So what is it?"
"Do you know the game Go?"
"Of course I do, I am just not good at it. So, we are like in a Go game now?"
"Exactly, but an extremely unfair one."

Old Shi then explained why. 
Generally speaking, Go is the game where two players held different colored pieces. Black and white pieces. For each move, a player will put a piece on a spot in the board. After this move, the opposing player will put his piece next. This putting of pieces will then continue alternately until the rules declare the game done.
The rules may vary, but the winner of each Go game will be the player with the most 'conquered' territories. The conquered territories depend on the amount of pieces present and the way they were positioned.
For Old Shi and Shi Hao, these two requirements were taken away from them directly. 
Old Shi did not know how they did it, but those three managed to use all the Fourth Stage Undead as their Go pieces. For Old Shi's side, it was only him and Shi Hao who could play. That's already a big minus on the amount of pieces.
As for the positioning, all these Undead have been clearly put in position before Old Shi could arrive. 
In short, those three already put all their game pieces on the board before Old Shi could even put his first one.
Old Shi and Shi Hao wiped their cold sweat as they stared at the looming undead roaming around them.
"Because of the spread out aura, we cannot lock on the location of those three. And with these Undead roaming around us, it will be only a matter of time before we get 'conquered'…. What should we do Old Shi?"
"Well.." Old Shi scratched his chin as he pondered. "There are two ways that we can do it. First, we can flip the game board itself."
"But that requires massive combat power, and we severely lack that now Old Shi. If the Wolf King was just with us…."
"Sigh. That is why the first option is not applicable. So we can only go for the second once."
"What is it?"
"If they want to play board games, why don't we just change the game? Instead of Go, why don't we just play chess?"
"Chess? But can we be compared to the queen? All of these Undead milling around us can be considered Queens?!"
"Hahaha, you still could not think outside the box Shi Hao!" Old Shi then drew out a strange-looking object inside his robes. It was a flute, with its golden body studded with jewels. Old Shi caressed it lovingly as he said,
"Shi Hao, listen to my art! This will be the catalyst that will help us right now!"

"Old Shi! You really are the best!"
"Spare the compliments later." Old Shi then brought the flute to his lips as he played the most horrendous music ever heard in history.
"Ah, my ears!" Shi Hao complained as he clutched his head tightly. While he was busy trembling and twitching, he did not notice a formless wave emanating from the flute. It covered the whole Fourth Stage Area, with Fang Lin and co. noticing it too.
Old Shi smiled as he wiped his own ears which bled from his own horrendous music.
"Why do we need to be the chess pieces when we can just steal it? There's a lot to be chosen right now!"
"My ears...."

The next day, It's 7AM, Sarah and Zet were awake, and as usual, Kipo was still asleep.
Zet was doing his morning routine, and Sarah was getting ready to go for the observatory, It was time for them to continue their journey to save Kipo's people, Sarah had her plan, but she was not sure that it would work or not.
It's 8AM, Zet has returned to the tree house, it was time for him to wake Kipo up.
Zet : come on Kipo.....we need to move.
Kipo surprisingly woke up immediately, she did not stall any time.
Kipo : I'm up.
Zet : wow you actually woke up from the first time.....good.
Sarah : get ready Kipo....we will move soon.
Kipo nodded and left the tree house to the lake.
Zet : so.....did you figure out which mutants we have in that observatory ?
Sarah : not yet....we will have to see them in person.....seems like they're night mutants since we can't see them in the day.
Kipo returned.
Kipo : alright....so what's the plan ?
Sarah : it's a bit long.....but it should work...just before we do it.....I want you to know that this might be so dangerous for you two....more than it will be for me....you won't like it.
Kipo then looked at Zet.
Zet : um.....sure ?
Sarah : ok....so I know which side of the building is the observatory....I need you two to act clueless for whoever is in there....act like you're a couple or whatever.....the point is....distract as much as you can....while I sneak into the observatory and look for what we need.
Kipo : um...quick question....what are we looking for ?
Zet : wide buildings next to each other....seen them before....this is where most of the mutes go....and where their leader is.....the prisoners should be their too.
Kipo : so you want us to be the bait just because we are the wonderkids here ?
Sarah : we are dealing with night mutants....I can't see as much as you and these mutants can in the night.....so the answer is yes....it's because you are the wonderkids.
Zet : relax....if we can't run away, we can fight....we will be fine.
Kipo : sure.
Sarah : ok now that we settled everything....I think it's time to go.
Zet : are we all ready.
Kipo and Sarah : yes.
Zet : then let's go.
They exited the tree house, Zet stopped for one more moment, looking at his tree house for what might be his last time.
Sarah : you ok ?
Zet : give me your knife.
Sarah then got a knife out of her pocket and gave it to Zet.
Zet : you go....I'll be right there.
Sarah and Kipo then went ahead.
Zet sighed, this is the moment where he will leave memories behind, in order to make new ones, he used his powers to heat the knife and started to carve words on the tree.
"May the ones who see this as their home.....take care of this place....it will take care of you."
Zet then left to follow his group.
Zet then reached his group and gave the knife back to Sarah.
Sarah : we'll head this way.
Kipo looked at Zet, she noticed that he looked sad, and she knows why, she now understands what does it mean to be a wonderkid, to be hero, sacrificing many things that you love, to save what others love, she used to think that Zet was only living for himself , but now she understands, Zet is a hero that doesn't shout it out loud, a hero that is willing to sacrifice for others, and get nothing in return.
It's 5PM, they have finally arrived.
Sarah : we're here.
Kipo : oh my god....finally !....we've been walking for so long!
Zet : there are trees around here.....we will wait for them.
Sarah nodded.
Zet : give me the bags.....Sarah...help Kipo.
Zet then flew up with all the bags on him and put them on top of the tree, while Sarah helped Kipo to climb up.
Sarah : there should be someone coming out soon.
It's 6PM, someone came out, they heard a sound of a door opening, Sarah took the binoculars and looked down, she was not fine with what she saw, her eyes widened, Zet noticed.
Zet : Sarah....who is it ?
Sarah did not say a word, she gave the binoculars to Zet so he can see for himself.
Zet saw who it was.
Zet : great....
Kipo : who is it ?
Zet : it's the wolves.
Kipo : oh no.
Zet : this is going to be harder than I thought.
Kipo : what now.....do we stick to the same plan ?
Sarah : Zet....when you fought them....did any of them run away ?
Zet : no....we should be fine.
Sarah : then yes.....we stick to the same plan.
Zet : we will wait a bit more....they might go for a hunt today.
They waited a bit more for someone else to go out, but no one did.
Sarah : alright....it's time now....act as mutant guests.....I'll survey the area near me....distract as much you can....good luck.
Sarah then left to take her position, while Kipo and Zet were dressing up with their capes.
Zet : ok....so let me do the talking until someone talks to you....we need to know our roles here.....you are my girlfriend.....we are two new mutants in las vistas....and we need directions.....got it ?
Kipo : yeah.
Zet : oh yeah....and remember....do whatever it takes to stay in the role....if they find out...we probably won't survive.
Kipo : ok.
Zet and Kipo then climbed down the tree and headed to the door and knocked on it.
A wolf wearing a lab coat opened the door.
Wolf : ah....new faces !....welcome !.....what brings you here ?
Zet : hi....we're new here....and we are just asking if you can help us with directions.
Wolf : well....we do know the place around here....but before you leave....would you care to stay for dinner today ?
Zet : of course....we are not really in a hurry....and I won't turn down such a generous offer.
Wolf : how nice of you.....my name is Liam....very glad to meet you.
Zet : I'm Lars....and this is my girlfriend....Kate.
Kipo : Hi....nice to meet you.
Liam : well come in.....we have a special dinner today.
Zet and Kipo then got in the observatory safely, they were kindly welcomed by the wolves, they then looked around the place, it was full of books and scientific tools.
Liam : wolves....gather around....we have new visitors.
Wolves then jumped down and appeared from the shadows then stood behind Liam.
Liam : welcome to our humble home.....we are the wolves....and as you may have already guessed....we are scientists....we love science.....It's endless amount of knowledge.
Zet : my girlfriend share the same love for science too....she's an astronomy scientist.
Liam : is that so Kate ?
Kipo : of course.....as any kind of science....astronomy and space is full of things to explore....I adore it.
Liam : indeed....It's the beauty of science.....so...were did you come from ?
Zet : we come from England.....we had to leave that area....It's full of humans.....it's madness there.
Liam : well you have come to the right place here....mutants are the superior ones here....no human shall rule these grounds as long as we live on it.
Zet : could not have agreed more.
Liam : you said you came here for directions.....where do you wish to go ?
Zet : we heard that your leaders welcome new faces here....we can't wait to see them.
Liam : indeed they do.....they are very kind...and they are the reason why we are alive at this moment.....anyway.....they are straight east from here.....you will be able to find them....I'm sure Kate will understand the stars.
Zet : If you don't mind me asking....what's the dinner?
Liam : I'd rather to keep it a surprise....you will love it.
Zet : I guess I will have to trust you on this one.
Liam and Zet then laughed.
Kipo : If you excuse me....I haven't read books for so long....I would love to read another book of yours.
Liam : of course....astronomy books are after this hallway to the left....near the telescope.
Kipo then left.
Zet : I see you have every science tool known to scientists.
Liam : indeed....we prepare ourselves as much as we can....we are knowledgeable with everything that has been discovered so far.....I do believe that there is nothing we don't know about science.
Zet : very impressive of you....I'm sure It took a lot of time to know it all.
Liam : correct....we were just some wild night hunters.....but now we understand that life has much more meaning than just surviving for your own life all the time.....we are so glad to find such knowledge.
Kipo was looking for Sarah, she could not see her, she knew that Sarah can not get in right now, there are wolves roaming around the same area, she had to make a distraction.
Kipo : hey guys....care to play a game ?
Wolf : sure !
The wolves that were in the same room as her gathered around her.
Kipo : ok....so...this game is called the stars game.
Wolf : the stars game ? 
Kipo : it's simple....guess as many stars in the sky as you can.....the one who guesses the most wins....it's a simple game.....but are you smart enough to win it ?
Wolf : wait.....what's the prize ?
Kipo : isn't it obvious ?.....the one who wins is the smartest one of you all !
Wolf : I'm in !
Wolf : me too !
The wolves love to brag about being the smartest and knowing everything, which is why they're easy to trick.
Sarah heard all of this, she knew that this was her queue, she snuck in and started scanning the area around her, just to make sure.
Kipo saw her.
Kipo : alright....I will be the judge to your game....I will randomly pick two to fight and pick a random star....the one answers faster wins...and will be the smartest....now we need to go outside.
The wolves and Kipo headed outside, Liam noticed them leaving the observatory.
Liam : going somewhere ?
Wolf : Kate taught us a new game.....it sounds so much fun !
Liam : interesting.....mind if Lars and I join ?
Kipo : of course !.....we all can play this game....come on honey....you'll love it.
Zet : I'm coming....but I don't think I will able to keep up with you all....I'm not as smart as you all....I'll just be a spectator....and cheer for you.
Kipo : aww....honey that's so sweet of you !
Liam : oh well....let's see what we have here.
They all headed outside while Zet just came up with an idea.
Zet : you go....I just need to go to the bathroom quickly.
everyone is outside and ready to play.
Kipo : wolves...would you like to explain to Liam what is this game ?
Wolf : it's called the stars game.
Wolf : answer faster than your opponent.
Wolf : the winner is the smarter....and Kate is the judge.
Liam : interesting.....but I have a small change....how about I be the judge....and Kate plays.....of course since I'm the smartest one here....and let's make it a bit more interesting....it will be a knockout matches.....only one of you all will be titled as the smartest.
Kate : sure !
Zet was inside looking for Sarah, he knew Kipo's plan, he had to check on Sarah, he looked around the telescope, he saw her on the window near it.
Zet : all clear...you can do it....go.
Sarah nodded.
Zet then left the place and joined the wolves outside before they suspect him.
Kipo saw Zet coming through the door.
Kipo : Lars....you're here !
Zet : did I miss something ?
Liam : not at all....we were just about to start.
Kipo and the wolves started to play the game while Zet was watching for Sarah.
The game has started, Liam was picking the stars and picking opponents, Kipo was winning in every match, she played very well, she was obviously the smartest one among all of these wolves.   
Zet was watching from the back.
Zet in his mind : wow....she really is an astronomy scientist.....huh....I'm impressed.
Kipo has reached the final, one of the wolves was her opponent, everyone knew that she will win.
After a while of playing in this final match, Kipo has won.
Liam : very impressive of you kate...but now....how about a real challenge.....me.
Kipo : of course....let's see who is really the smartest here.
Liam : oh you will regret these words young lady.
The game has started, Kipo and Liam started answering one by one, they were very close from each other, none of them was winning.
Wolf : alright we have reached the tie breaker.....whoever answers this first wins....in 3....2....1...this star ! 
Liam : it's Markab....the heart of the Pegasus.
Wolf : correct...Liam wins !
Liam : well....you have reached far enough.....but you are not the smartest here....fair play Kate....or should I say Kipo.
Kipo : excuse me ?
Liam : It's been a long time....I see you have grown.
Zet's eyes widened.
Kipo : have we met before ?
Liam : in person.....I have met your dad when you were just a small baby.....and by the way....I know who you are too wonderkid.
Zet then lifted the cape off.
Kipo : but how did you know ?
Liam : simple....you're the only one who knows that much about astronomy....your father told me.
Kipo : he never told me about it.
Liam : and I believe I know why.
Kipo : huh ?
Liam : it's because of what we did to him....you can say we simply took a bite out of him....we ate his leg....but he was able to escape from us.
Kipo : you what ?!
Liam : you heard me.....we are hunters....and you are filthy humans....and well....I guess you know the rest of the story here.
Liam then looked at Zet.
Liam : you have fought bravely against 5 of us....I will give you that.....now how about 20 of us....let's see what you can do....so I will suggest you run now.
Zet did not say anything. 
Liam : wolves....It's dinner time.
The wolves started to howl.
Kipo : RUN !!
Zet then picked up a rock and threw it at the telescope, hinting for Sarah to get out of there as soon as she can, before he started running for his life.
The chase has begun, Kipo and Zet were running for their lives from the wolves, they could see in the dark of the night, but so are the wolves, running away from these hunters won't work, Zet had to come up with a plan quickly.
Sarah heard the rock hitting the metal of the telescope, she saw Kipo and Zet running away from the wolves, she needed to leave the area now.
Zet now got an Idea.
Zet : Kipo.....grab me....but don't touch my body....hold on to my clothes.....this might hurt you a little.
Kipo then grabbed on his cape.
Zet then used a huge amount of his power and lifted himself up while Kipo was hanging on to him, he was able to fly away into the trees and landed in sea near them, Kipo got hurt, but wasn't as much as Zet did, he was being shocked with a big amount of electricity, but it was enough to get them to safety, Zet lost conscious due to the big amount of damage he took, he summoned enough energy that can easily kill him.
They landed in the water, the wolves lost their track, but now they are safe, Zet was unconscious, Kipo had to get him to the surface before he drowns.
Kipo then dragged Zet to the surface.
Kipo : no no no.....please don't die on me now.
She put her head on his chest to hear his heartbeat, she didn't hear anything, her eyes widened, she started to push on his chest to clear the water from his lungs, nothing came out yet, she was not pushing hard enough.
Kipo started crying.
Kipo : no no please do die now.....I need you right now please don't die.
And then, Kipo felt stronger, she her breathe freezing, her eyes started glowing, she tried again, she pushed on his chest, water came out, she listened to his heartbeat, It wasn't beating yet.
Kipo was about to lose hope, until she decided to blow her cold breathe into his lungs, she listened to his heartbeat one more time, It was beating, she saved him.
Kipo then cried from happiness, he was still alive.
Zet was still unconscious, but alive, Kipo was able to carry him all the way back to their small camp on the tree.
After she carried him back, she saw Sarah waiting at the bottom of the tree, very worried about them.
Sarah : Kipo....thank god you survived.....what happened ?
Kipo : no time to explain....he needs help.
Sarah : on it.
Kipo then handed Sarah Zet so she can carry him herself.
Sarah : gather our stuff....we need to leave this area.
Kipo : ok.
Kipo then Climbed up surprisingly fast, grabbed all their stuff and climbed down.
Kipo : let's go.
Sarah and Kipo then left the area and went somewhere else, as far as they could from this observatory.

The story revolves around 
8 kids who have different powers in a world where humanity is in a war against mutated animals.
Each one of them has stories to be told, and adventures to be talked about....hope you enjoy this.

The little black wolf stared at his sister's 'I am on cloud nine' expression for a long time before he shifed his attention to the shiny gray fur underneath. He then slowly stroked it...! Then, as if an electric current exploded inside his body, the little black wolf suddenly plopped onto his stomach and rolled around the soft fur. He didn't stop untill he exhausted himself and just layed down flat on his stomach, rubbing his face against the fur just like his sister.

'It really is soft...I feel like my soul has jumped over the moon!' ✪ ω ✪

As the system and Anubis watch the twins weird expressions they thought, 'what a pair of silly cubs' and could not help breaking into a bright smile. 

Although no one can see the system since he does not have a form, it did not mean he didn't smile, because he did and it looked like this: (‾◡◝)

Anubis thought of an idea and with a wave of his paw, all the papers and books that were scattered about disappeared. 

"Hey, want to play a game?" He asked mischievously when standing up. 

'My gosh, he is tall...' Thought the twins who were clinging onto his back when Anubis stood up.

Then the little white wolf asked, "What's a game? Oh wait, isn't game what you call...meat?"

Anubis gave a low and magnetic chuckle as he spoke. "Well it is but the game that I ment means a type of activity that you would play, like a sport. Although the type of game that 
I'm suggesting is more of a prank...that is, if you two are willing to play."

The little black and white wolf nodded their heads and said together, "A prank? We know what that is, but who are you pranking?" Curiosity brewing through their minds as the two cubs stared at Anubis.

Seeing that the two have agreed, he whispered his plans near their ears and then walked out of his room quietly.

Inside the room where the twins had hatched, the old couple Ravi and Celeste are having a conversation and the topic of conversation was related to the twins. 

"They look so much like those two! Only they are gone and will never come back." Celeste had a very miserable expression on her beautiful white face, her eyelashes had a clear bead of tears, wanting to fall but she would not let it. Not infront of her beloved and not after her egg hatched.

Ravi tried conforting her saying in a deep but soft voice. "Celeste, the past is in the past, even so how would you know whether or not they will come back, worrying about that incident wont help. Plus right now we will have to prepare a surprise for the two young cubs and invite the old man and hag-"

"Hey! How could you call your parents that?! If they heard what you called them, don't come looking for me when they rip the fur off your whole body!" Celeste knock his head with her paw, leaving a small bump.

"Hehe..." Ravi gave her a foolish grin, pleased that he diverted the topic. When she saw his expression Celeste could only helplessly sigh. 'Does he never learn? The old duo will not let him off.' When she finished her thought, the room's temperature suddenly dropped and a bad premonition weld up her chest. She then quickly turned her attention to the entrance of the room-

Speak of the devil...At the door way a pair of wolves stood, both had dull black fur and pale purple eyes. They both had a extremely horrifying expressions plastered onto their old faces.

Ian, Ravi's father who was called an old man looked gloomly at Ravi as he tried to control his anger. "Oh, we will and not only will he be furless, he will also be thrown into Melv's special medical soup!"

Sephtis and Adaliah are twins who were very luck to be chosen by the "Wolf Brother, Wolf Sister System". It gave them higher intelligence and power that helped them live in the world of Zenon, that favors the strong but belittles the weak. The system would teach them spells and show them all sorts of things, it would even cheer them up when they were feeling down. What kind of system would do this?! Even the twins were stupefied by the generosity this system would give them. So they decided to repay it. But what would it like? The system had everything in the world, so what kind of gift would it want in return?

"System, what would you like us to give you for all the things you've  done for us? We'll give you anything, even if its impossible"

It was a Monday when I died. I did my usual routie, which was basically working all morning till about 4pm when I get off work. Once I was off, I headed home to my three story house. Once there I would make myself something to eat, normally it would be something simple like a PB&J sandwich. I would then jump on the game that ive been playing for close to 10 years now. But that day I had to stay at work a bit longer then expected, landscaping was simple enough if the weather stays sunny, since it rained that meant over time. 
   Any who, I'm sure your asking yourself, who is this character that's talking. The answer to that simply question is Xander Wolf. I'm not your average Joe that you see walking around. I'm a lean built, a decent looking face with a Viking looking hair and beard. Ive always had an interest in Viking since it ran in my veins. Ive got a mix of dirtyblonde with strawberry blonde for my hair color and a ginger color beard. Ive got tattoos that cover my whole entire back and both my forearms. The forearms tattoos are just tribe sleeves while my back tattoos have a story of how I was raised up.

   Anywho, my IRL isnt what you want to hear about. What your interested in is my story about how I was revived into my own body ten years ago. To tell you the truth, I'm still asking myself that myself that question too because that is what just happened to me. The last thing I remember was that I had just logged into the game when I had a longsword stabbed into my forehead as I enter the game, and before I knew it I woke up ten years earlier. I know this because I am in an old apartment I used to live in right before the game, Heaven and Earth Midevil Times, was about to release in the next day or so. I had already had my Pod setup so the moment the game was released I could jump in it. At the time I had plenty of money to spare since I had more jobs then I could count just to be able to buy and fully pay the price for the Pod and the game and still have plenty of money left to maybe spend on the things I needed or wanted.
   
   Now, im not a rich guy, so dont go thinking damn this guy is living the life. Because I'm not, I live an apartment that has the highest crime rate on the block. luckily I dont get bothered by anyone because I live alone and hardly interact with people. 
    Back in the past life of what happens to me in the ten years in the future I grew out of that life and had a guild that I ran. We werent the best or well known but we did good all ten years. Only issue I would say that we had was how much members we had. We dreaded the GVG events, GVG stands for Guild VS Guild in case y'all are wondering, because at max we had not more then maybe 20 people in our Guild. 
    
     This time though I plan to use my ten years of experience to create the Number 1 guild in the game. And I know how I can do it faster then any legacy guilds out there. This is were I will begin the story so sit down or even lay down and enjoy the story. 

   "What the freaking hell just happened? Last I saw I had just logged into the game to start playing and next thing I know I have a long sword stabbed into my head." I say as I wake up in my bed in an apartment I hardly recognise. I look around and I see that I'm back in my dark apartment that I had left behinde about 9 years ago. 
     "How the heck did I get back here?" I ask myself as I look down and see that I'm back into my younger body. I stand up to see if this is real because if so, then great that means I got a redo on my life and with everything I remember from my previous life I can do a few minor changes that I would regret if I couldn't in my previous life. Once I start walking around I decided that it had to be real and so I got dressed and headed out. I was off this day so I spent the day going to the nearest game shop, which is called The Gamer Center, and I bought a few things for the game. As I'm walking into the store I noticed the game was going to be released in a few hours and not in a couple of days like I thought so I hurried into the game shop and went to the clerk who was there. 
 
    "Hey Xander, what can I get you today?" Said Tracey, she was one of my guild members in the previous life and she was great at the game, as she looks at me with a smile that could break a mans heart. She was what most guys call a man killer. She had a perfectly shaped body where as her attitude was always the perky kind. She had long blonde hair that went down to her shoulder blade, even in a ponytail it was that long, and had a few tattoos herself.
       "Nothing much, just came by to buy a few things to give me an edge in the new game thats coming out in a few hours." I say as I look over the packs they sold. Cheapest one was for $10 while the most expensive one was about a grand.
       "Oh, that would be wise so you wouldnt have to grind as hard as everyone else would. So which pack do you want?" she asked as she pulls up the pack list on her computer.
     I sit and think for a moment before I answer her back. " ima take two Grandmaster packs and two of the cheapest packs and that will be all. Hopefully I can get a few good Pets from the Grandmaster." 
     
     "Right, your going to be a beastmaster right?"  she asks as she rings up my price. "Thats going to be a total of $2020." 
    "Yeah, ive always liked them better then the typical styles." I say as I pay for it. "Maybe you can join me when you get off work?"
     "Sure. Just let me know where you are when I join you." She says smiling at me as I leave.

    I walk back into my apartment and I lay down and think till in is close to 10 mins till the launch of the game. I stand up and get into the Pod and log into my account and wait for the game to be launched. While I'm waitting I mess around with my Avatar since to play the game you have to have an Avatar to play it.

There are alot of types of Avatars you can pick from and I have always like the idea of a Beastman because its a part beast and part man looking type of Avatar. You could have a Characteristic of a wolf where your sense of smell and hearing and sight is that of a wolf but you wouldn't see just in black and white or walk on all fours only. Best of both worlds in my book at least. So as I'm creating my Avatar I make it look more wolfish by allowing the wolves ear and tail being displaced and the fur to be a black, gray, and white mixed. I puff out my chest and legs alittle bit more then I do in real life and add a few cool looking tattoos on my body where I have ones IRL. 

Once im done creating my Avatar I notice I got five seconds till the release and I quickly press on the game so the moment it is launched im already loading into the game.
   Once the game is loaded and I look around to get used to the game style of how to control my character I smile as I go into my inventory. "Inventory." I say to open it and I see four packages that I had just bought. 
   
    Now to explain in the simplest terms of how the packages work is there is a small chance to get Mythical teir skills, weapon, pet, armor, or class. the Class I'm hoping to get is the Beastmaster. It's not a Mythical class but rather a Legendary class. And Legendary class items in the grandmaster package is roughly about a 5% chance. Unlike other games where you have to go to a NPC to get a class to start off with or go by the stats you play with, in this game you have to earn even the simplest Class such as Warrior, priest, scout, or mage. 
     Now there are some like myself who dont mind buying packages to ease that rough grinding for the class we want. And since I wanted to hurry along to the higher levels I choose the easiest route to take. Each Grandmaster package has roughly 20 bottles of Huge Exp potions in them, roughly 2k in gold and you get a weapon, armor, class, or pet by luck. As fot the cheapest package, it was really to get simple gears that I could use to get stronger as I grind out my levels. I normally don't like to use Exp bottles because I dont know when I would need them. 

I click on one of the Grandmaster Package and it pops right out into my hand.

I press the Accept button and the package in my hand starts to unfold itself and in my hand I see a slot machine pop up. I pull the lever down and push it back up to active it. As I'm waiting to see what I get from it I look at my inventory box and see the 2k in gold in it with my 20 bottles of exp. Smiling an devilish grin I look back at the slot machine as it shows a pet, a sword, and a class card. The next thing I know the slot machine is gone and I dont see anything in my hand so I look into the inventory and see the things I got from it was placed into it. I click on the pet icon and look at the status of it.

With a shocked face I immediately equip the pet to my pet slot. Once its in, a wolf comes running towards me as if it was looking for me. Once it is next to me I get down on my knee and pat it's head smiling about getting this awesome pet. 

    I know pets could evolve so I wasnt worried about that since in my past life I was also a Beastmaster. Only thing that I was worried about was the fact that my first pet has Demon strain in it which told me that it would be a wolf god by the final form. 
  Now that ive got my pet equipped I look at the class I had earned.

 Smiling my evil grin as I equip the Class card i do a little bit of a dance of joy seeing as how I got the class I wanted. Then I look back towards the sword I had gotten from the slot machine.

   Each character has the same amount of slots but it could be a different type of slot. For Example: I have 3 weapon slots. Once for my main weapon, one for a second weapon and the third slot is for my Beastmaster Orb. i also have 2 ring slots, one feet slot, one leg slot, one chest slot, one arm slot. Where as Another player may have just one weapon slot but have four ring slots. no matter what We all have the same amount of slots, just different areas of the body.
      As I'm smiling I click on my last Grandmaster Package.

   I press accept button and again the Slot machine pops into my hand after the package unfold itself. Pulling and pushing the lever once again I pray to Odin that I get just as good of a loot as I did the last time.
   Once the machine stops I look at what I had gotten again and see one class card, one bow, and an Armor piece. smiling I look into my inventory box and click on the Class Card I had received.

 Shocked by the Armor and the set it belongs to I start laughing out loud. Not noticing that I'm getting weird looks from both the NPCs and other bystanders of players I start dancing like a madman. After a while I calm down and look at the last thing I had gotten, the bow.

   Looking over the Stats page and finding that I find it about where I would have guessed it, I close it and sit down to think of what I should name my new found pet. 
   After taking a good look at the Wolf I noticed it was mostly black with a white diamond shape on its chest. "Eclipse. That has a nice ring to it. Dont you agree?" I ask the Wolf who responded with a huge waging tail to my face.
   I laugh as I push down his back half as I say "okay. Its officially Eclipse. Now do you think we should go kill some Mobs or do a few quests town related?"
   Ecplise looks at me and then at the North end gate as to answer my question. I smile at the correct answer because I know of a certain quest that I could do thanks to my gear. once I equip my chestplate on, I run to the gate and set out to find that quest.

I quickly arrived at my house, it was only five minutes walking from Marco's. My family was waiting for me in the living room. Father was watching, as always, sports on TV and mother was cooking. As I said, they are great sports fans, my father especially. In his youth he used to compete in the decathlon, he had some success until he got injured, when he met our mother who was a physical therapist, and there was me, and little later my little sister, you know how it goes. Now my father is a coach, and mother retired a few years ago and now mainly stays home taking care of the house and helping Hope with her studies, not that she needed it.

, Hi son, go freshen up, we are going to have lunch soon." said my mother.

, You know about the game?" I asked him a little surprised.
, Of course, I know, it is everywhere in the city and on TV. I remember that three of you numbskulls almost brought chaos every time one of those games came out during your time in high school and college. Did you exercise as I told you? You should keep your body in shape if you want to play the game every night."
, I did dad, don't worry." I started exercising ten years ago when dad told me about the need for a healthy body for people who play games daily.

I freshened up and came to the table for lunch. At the same time, my little sister Hope came downstairs from her room. She hugged me and said:

That was a law, only persons at the age of 18 and above can play virtual reality games. There were some exceptions, but not that many and only with parents approval and in rehabilitation medicine.
, Thank you brother, she hugged me and kissed me,, remember, my birthday is not even a month away. Ugh, I can't wait, why isn't it sooner, I will fall behind this way."

, I know mom don't worry", I assured her that I will look out for her and then went to my room to take care some of the school stuff and to prepare to enter Age of Gods.
Finally, I thought as I laid down in my bed and put on a helmet. A good thing about virtual games in this age is that technology is very safe, you can even sleep with helmets on and they are not taxing on the body and mental health. Still sleep is important to recover and it is not recommended to play often without sleep. Well since sleeping is one of my favorite things to do I won't have problems with that. In the past you could even sleep in some games I wonder if that will be possible in Age of Gods.
As I was wondering about sleeping, the game was slowly starting. It was already 24:00 h. First thing I saw was that incredible trailer. It was even better than on TV, it was like you were in the center of everything. Then a female soft voice said:
, Welcome to the Age of Gods, we hope you will enjoy and try not to anger any of the many Gods or else..."
Wow I thought, they don't kid around with the Gods. Well, it was natural, Gods are not easy to trifle with, there are a lot of examples in mythology where mortals insulted and defied Gods that didn't end well. 
, Please choose your region" the voice continued.
Then the Earth showed up. It was turning around and stopped on Europa. I could see a lot of regions to choose from. Well, the choice was obvious but it was good to know what are other regions up front. Far north there were Nordic lands, in the center were Germanic lands west were Celtic lands, east were Slavic lands and south was also Slavic region(Balkans), my region, and of course Hellas the land of mythology and Roman Empire. Wow, there was directly Roman Empire, maybe it was easier to name it like that or it may have a different meaning we will see in the game.
With no further ado, I choose the Slavic region(Balkans). After that there was character customization, The only thing I did was to remove my glasses and add a little facial hair, that was enough. After that voice said to choose a name. I was curious so I asked: 
, System how many players choose a name with the word Champion in them?"
It took a moment before voice answered,, So far there are 5327 names" 
, How about a Superhero?" I asked again.
,, 689." 
That was even faster, I bet that Wolf will mention this sometime later. Enough of that I thought, let's go.
, Wise Raven." I said.
, Wise Raven, is that correct?" asked the voice.
, Yes." I responded.
, Welcome Wise Raven to the Age of Gods."
White light was all around me all of a sudden, and when I opened my eyes I found myself in a little village. I looked around trying to make sense where I was. There were little houses here and there mostly made of earth and straw, with some made of wood. New players started appearing one after another. Some were already leaving the village and some were trying to find quests. I guess that this wasn't first for them, they all looked like they knew what to do.
First thing I did was to open my status and see my stats. I was shocked to say at least. I was not the only one judging from all the yelling around me, and people returning to the village from the outside. I looked around and found one quiet spot behind one of the houses so that I can think more carefully about this.
This is the gist of it. Nothing, there was nothing. Those guys from the Universal Gaming weren't kidding when they said that to survive in the Age of Gods you need to rely on yourself. They did also say that this game would be much harder than all the games until now. Not that I played any games before. While I was thinking a notification rang in my ears. 
, Player Superwolf wishes to be your friend, do you accept?" Then another,
, Player Eagle Eye wishes to be your friend, do you accept?"
, Accept, accept." I responded to the system. They added me to the group chat and I could hear that they were discussing the pressing matter of every player that started to play Age of Gods, what now?
, What is your opinion?" they asked me in one voice.
, We just have to try hard and enjoy the game. Isn't that why are we here? And at least we have a chat system, so if one of us has some problems we can try to solve it together. At least until we find each other in the game. Who knows when can we leave the villages in the first place."
, Well then let's get started, no use in talking about this all day." said Marco, with Wolf following him. , Yeah, even bare hands are weapons." We could only nod our heads after that statement. Before he left Wolf only said,, Five thousand and counting." I could only smile bitterly at that, there are more Champions it seems. 
As I started saying system gave nothing. No weapons, no potions, not even a single copper coin. There wasn't an inventory bag, so I guessed you could only carry everything with yourself. I only wore thin linen clothes and leather booths. In the stats page, there were only bars for health and mana points which were 100, there was even hunger bar, for now, it showed maximum value which means that for now I am fine without food but who knows what happens when it starts dropping. All the other stats showed number 10. They were the usual ones, strength, endurance, intelligence, agility, dexterity. There was also fame, which was momentarily at zero, and the only skills were Universal Language, which was at max level and Appraisal which was at level 0.
I opened the map, the system wasn't that ruthless, we could at least see general space in which we stayed. I could see buildings in the village, but not their function, and wooden wall around it with the gates at north and south sides. The name of the village was Little Rock village. Very generic I thought. I should try to find an NPC, and find about the situation I am in. 
Some of the players started forming groups, to go outside to level, some were going around the village, some were talking to each other, and some were going through the game forum, probably to find out what to do.
As I was walking around the village I could see that not many NPC were present in it. There was a group of little children playing hide and seek and tag. Sometimes they even mixed two games. The only adult was a middle-aged man in one of the wooden constructions, which would be smithy from all the metal tools in it. Many players wanted to talk to this blacksmith and try to find some quest, but the only response was cold stares and short responses like can't you see I am busy and don't bother me to the female players. There were few more wooden buildings, one that looked like a temple, one big I assume for keeping some kind of an animal, sheep maybe, and one which I think is for storing food for the whole village.
All of the buildings were closed except the temple, players would go in and out with unwilling looks on their faces which could only mean that there was nothing in there.
I decided to try to ask one of the children something because I saw that they responded to other players, but still, most of them went away with unhappy expressions on their faces. I found one boy hiding behind the temple and asked him
, Excuse me, boy, can you tell me where are adults?" 
 , Go away, you are going to reveal me!"
I was somewhat surprised, as I didn't expect that kind of an answer. It seems that NPCs are much more intelligent than I thought. In here they are also human, so I should treat them like that.
, Sorry" I said,, let me help you hide."
I sat with my back turned to him so that other children couldn't see him.
, What do you think?"
, Haha'' laughed the boy, you are a good guy, now they will never find me." smiled the boy cheekily.
, So, where are grown-ups?" I asked him again
, Some are in the fields, some are tending the sheep, and several uncles are hunting in the forest."
Of course, in this age food is the most important resource, no wonder there are no adults in the village at this time.
, You are a Traveler, right? You can wait in the village or go out to find them, it will be a long time until they come back." said the boy and run out with his hands high in the sky, evidently he won.
Well let's go out then, I decided, not knowing that I created a quest where players are asked by children to help them hide, which later players crowned as the first quest every player should do.

A journey through the world where gods still rule and humans still fear them. A world in which history professor can finally be a part of it. A world of which he only heard stories of, when he was a child, and could only imagine it. Can this still be called a game, or is it a totally new(old) world?
The cover is not mine, I found it at some site about Slavic mythology and thought that it looked nice and badass.

Guys, I will certainly not drop this novel. I was busy these past months whether with college or with finding a job. I am still trying to balance everything and AOG had to suffer because of that. I hope that I will continue with my writing in a couple of months.
