As she sat in the window of her cabin in the Villa Las Estrellas, while looking outside, she couldn't help but think about "him". Cold air seeped in through the shattered window with a moan.She was freezing but didn't bother to start the fire in the cabin. Her eyes were swollen and there were dark circles under them, which indicated her sleeplessness. 
"That was not a dream. It was real... So real. He was real. He is real....He is.....He is."
A sudden chilliness descended around her, making her shiver due to the coldness and fear. She looked around her without blinking, stood up from her place and checked every corner of the cabin. She was so desperate to find "him". Where was he though? Like a mad woman she fisted her hair and screamed.
She kept screaming for few minutes then opened her bag and took out a red lipstick from it. Then she decisively walked towards the mirror hanged on one side of the wall of cabin and uncapped the lipstick. 
With the red lipstick she wrote on the mirror:
“Just, warning you!!! If a fat man puts you in a bag on Christmas Eve… don’t worry, I told Santa I wanted you for Christmas”
She smiled brilliantly at her reflection in the mirror as hot tears rolled down her cheeks while she recalled what happened last Christmas.

The victorian house groaned as Anna made her way up the stairs. Her bedroom was on the first floor at the front of the property.  Her parents room was to the rear of the building and the long bathroom stretched the length of the hallway. The staircase continued to wrap around the second floor which Anna had not managed to explore. Flicking the switch on the first floor, Anna decided she would continue to the second floor where all the junk and numerous boxes yet to be unpacked had been dumped. 
The second floor was a small square landing at the top of the house . A tall internal door with a golden knob stood out on the shabby landing. The rain was still pounding on the sky light window but the warmth of the property made Anna forget the horrid weather outside. 
Anna went to the lonely door and pushed hard to open the it and discover the treasures which were hidden within the room. 
The loft space was dreary and other than a few boxes from their old house it held items which hadn't been touched for years and years. Cobwebs hung low from the rafters of the room and dust had settled on almost every available space. The bare floorboards creaked as Anna made her way into the room ready to investigate the many items untouched in this empty house. 
The only light which entered into the room was that from the daylight outside which poked its way into the room through the small circular window. 
Pushing a large cobweb to one side Anna dusted off the first cardboard box which attracted her attention. With the words 'do not open' its always the most intriguing of items. Opening the box, Anna found a variety of hats and scarves in the box. Large round formal hats with fur lining they looked beautiful and well kept. Small moth balls had been packed in to the box to protect the items within it, indicating they were once loved and meant something to someone a long time ago. 
The next few boxes all contained clothing which appeared to belong to a man and lady but nothing Anna recognised in her era. The stale smell of dust lingered in the room indicating just how long the items had probably been left unattended and stranded in the empty loft space. 
Anna turned around to see what other items were in the space, old but grand furniture covered the space. The loft was a vast space which covered the entirety of the building. Anna thought the space would make a beautiful study for her to come and do her homework and generally relax. As she skulked around the room in a general day dream a beautifully crafted full length mirror caught Anna's eye. Covered behind an old sheet, Anna made her way to the mirror to take a closer loom. She removed the sheet to reveal the white baroque style finish with intricate detail. The mirror was exquisite. Anna thought it would look beautiful in her new room so made an attempt to lift it to tKe it back downstairs. 
As Anna stepped to grab the mirror, her foot caught in the sheet she had dropped, she struggled to keep her footing as she held the mirror. The sheer weight of the mirror prevented her from keeping her balance, Anna fell with the mirror crashing in front of her, the largest crash boomed across the house as the mirror shattered into a 1000 pieces across the wood floor boards.

When Anna moves to a different town she has to get to start again making new friends and learning to blend in to the crowd. But after a run in with an ancient mirror, a strange character appears and ensures that Anna does anything but blend in. 
Follow Anna as she tries to understand who this character is and face the long battle ahead for inner peace or an unexpected death.

"Sure." Fu Jingtong nodded. "Shi'shi, as long as you are obedient, of course I will let you see your Mom." 
Shi'shi…
Fu Jingtong was also calling her Shi'shi.
Lin Shiyu coldly curved her red lips. This was the first time that she felt the name, Shi'shi, was very nauseating.
The melodious ringtone from a cell phone sounded. She had an incoming call.
Two words flashed on the screen of the cell phone - Fu Qinglun. 
It was Fu Qinglun.
Lin Shiyu glanced at her cell phone. She did not answer it. 
"Why are you not answering?" Fu Jingtong asked.
Lin Shiyu raised her pretty eyes and looked at Fu Jingtong. Fu Jingtong was cutting his steak sophisticatedly and he curved his thin lips. "Answer."
It was a simple word but it was threatening and menacing.
Lin Shiyu looked at him for a few seconds before tapping on her cell phone to pick up the call. "Hello."
"Shi'shi…" An extremely hoarse voice which sounded weak came through the phone. "Where are you now? I didn't see you when I opened my eyes."
Fu Qinglun was still in the hospital. He was wearing a set of blue and white hospital clothes. His long fingers were gripping the cell phone. He had sustained a stab wound in his heart which landed him in a coma for two days, and he had just opened his eyes. 
His throat was severely dry and his dark red lips were chapped from the dryness. The wispy fringe on his forehead covered his pleasant, but sickly white eyes. He was very weak and frail.
His long fingers gripped the cell phone tightly. His throat bobbed and he did not hear her voice. He called her again. "Shi'shi…"
"Elder brother." At this moment, Fu Jingtong's voice was heard. "Today is Shi'shi's birthday. I'm having a candlelit dinner with Shi'shi now. Do you want to join?"
Fu Qinglun's black eyes narrowed. A few seconds later, he said, "You wait there, I will come now."
After hanging up the phone, Fu Qinglun lifted the blanket. The stab wound at his heart had not healed and he placed his large palm over it.
He knitted his good-looking brows. His handsome face was pale.
Soon later, he walked out of the ward.
The doctor at the corridor happened to see Fu Qinglun. "Young Master Fu, where are you going? You can't go out now. You have just woken up."

The two waiters stood at the platform belittling Fu Qinglun. "Young Master Fu, I addressed you Young Master Fu and you dared to answer me. Is your surname still Fu? Fu Qinglun, you have already been chased out of the Fu Family. You are worthless now!"
"The Fu Family and Fu Corporation belong to Young Master Jingtong now. Where do you stand? Look, Young Master Fu Jingtong and Miss Lin are having their candlelit dinner. You can't go in…"
The two waiters were insulting and demeaning him as though he was worse than trash on the ground.

In the restaurant, Lin Shiyu glanced at Fu Qinglun through the full-length window. The man was wearing the blue and white hospital clothes beneath his coat. She had not seen him for two days and he had lost some weight, but he still looked like a sophisticated and refined aristocrat, albeit a little down and out.
He must had come here straight from the hospital.
Now his cold eyes were fixated on Fu Jingtong and her, and he looked like he wanted to murder both of them.
Lin Shiyu raised her pretty eyes and looked at Fu Jingtong who was sitting opposite him. "Are you happy shaming Fu Qinglun like this?"
Fu Jingtong raised his wine glass and took an elegant sip. "Not too bad."
At this moment, there was the sound of glass breaking. Lin Shiyu looked up to see Fu Qinglun holding a metal rod in his hand and smashing the full-length window. 
Lin Shiyu startled and she stood up. Was he insane?
Fu Qinglun had smashed a large hole in the full-length window. He strode over frostily and even his lower jaw was tightened. 
Fu Jingtong was still sitting on the chair. Fu Qinglun walked over and extended a leg to kick the table. "Why are you still eating? Damn it, stop eating!"
Fu Jingtong shrugged his shoulders and curved his lips into a smile.
Fu Qinglun went over to Lin Shiyu and grasped her delicate hand. "Shi'shi, let's go."
Lin Shiyu lowered her luscious lashes and looked at his large hand. He had cut the back of his hand while smashing the full-length window just now.
Blood was trickling from his hand.
Lin Shiyu did not budge. She retracted her little hand.
Fu Qinglun stopped in his tracks. He looked at Lin Shiyu and his voice was sour. "Shi'shi, happy birthday."
At this moment, Fu Jingtong stood up. "Shi'shi, we have to go, if not we will miss the movie."
Fu Jingtong extended his hand over to Lin Shiyu.
Lin Shiyu glanced at Fu Jingtong and gave him her hand. 
Fu Jingtong held her hand and left.
Fu Qinglun stood wretchedly on the spot. He was just like a clown who had committed all these acts but no one paid any heed to him. 
Shi'shi still left with Fu Jingtong in the end.
A few seconds later, he ran ahead. Lin Shiyu had already gotten into Fu Jingtong's luxury car, and the car sped away.
"Shi'shi, wait for me!" Fu Qinglun used all his might to chase after the car.
In the luxury car, Fu Jingtong glanced at Fu Qinglun, who was chasing behind, through the rear view mirror. He intentionally reduced the speed of his car, so that Fu Qinglun could continue to chase after the car but not catch up with it.

Liam smiled. If one overlooked that her lips were now pale and dry and her skin had a sallow yellow complexion, this woman's face was not bad. She could still turn this into a beauty after taking care of her body for months.

Silence.
"Are you upset?" Tim suddenly asked.
Lei did not understand why he asked this question, but he shook his head. "No, I am not upset. Why would I?"
Tim did not answer and turned to Cess. "How about you, Cess, are you upset that we left the mansion when that woman finally woke up?"
Cess flinched. She turned her small face to her brothers with a troubled expression on.  
Was her big brother still mad that she broke their rule and visited their mother again? She just took a peek! She did not know that their mother would wake up back then!
Thinking of this, Cess teared up. "I am sorry, brother. It won't happen again. I just wanted to see mother. I didn't know she'll wake up. Hic."
Lei softened after seeing his younger sister's tears. Their little sister was not like the other little girls who cried easily, so when she cried, Lei was really troubled.
"D-don't worry! It is my mistake! I'll cover you!" He hugged her sister and turned to his big brother Tim. "Don't scold her, big brother! I was the one in the wrong! I know you and Nurse Cath is not present yet I let her wander to that woman's room."

Tang Luo entered the third floor.
He had only just stepped off the stairs, the flashlight in his hand not even in time to shine at the surroundings yet when a black shadow flew out of the darkness and attacked him in the head.
It moved lightning-quick, so much so that people couldn't react at all.
In fact, they wouldn't even be able to get a clear look at what exactly it was before they took the hit.
Well, in the case of regular mortals anyway, not Tang Luo.
Tang Luo reached out and grabbed it.
As though it had sent itself right into his hands, he easily caught the black shadow that was assailing him.
It began to struggle furiously. The amount of strength it exhibited was practically as though what Tang Luo was holding was a vibrating pump.
"A bat?"
Tang Luo looked at the true form of the black shadow in his hand. It wasn't some kind of strangely-shaped creature but an ordinary bat. Apart from the blood-red sheen in its eyes, there was nothing special about it.
He tossed it aside casually. The bat in his hand was sent flying at an even higher speed than earlier. After crashing into the wall, it turned into a pile of bloody mangled flesh.
The renovation work on the third floor was basically complete. Not only were there rooms, but even the doors had been installed.
However, there was rubbish everywhere. There was construction debris left behind from renovation works in the past, as well as quite a lot of household waste.
Homeless people had probably lived here before.
Tang Luo noticed a few people who were lying motionless on the floor. 
He went over and glanced at them. These were dry and shriveled up corpses whose skin stuck to their skeletons. The clothes on them were very new, however.
"They've been sucked dry."

Their blood had probably been sucked dry by that bat earlier.

Together with falling rocks, he landed on the second floor. 
Upon landing, the form of Wang Shuishui and an unknown man hugging entered Tang Luo's sight.
The two of them were locked in a passionate kiss and hug.
The way that the man was exerting so much strength, it was as if he wanted to knead Wang Shuishui's entire self into his body.
The exposed half of Wang Shuishui's face was contorted and filled with shock and fear. Her eyes involuntarily rolled up.
Tang Luo took a step forward, reached out, and grabbed the man's head. He pulled him over, as though he was catching hold of a little chick.
After bringing him close, Tang Luo took a glance and said, "He's dead. He can't be saved anymore."
Then, he applied force in his hand. The man's head broke into pieces. There was no blood at all, as though it was just an empty shell.
A wisp of black aura rose from him and swiftly disappeared.
The corpse that had fallen onto the floor also visibly shriveled until it reached a state of erosion by wind.
In just a few short seconds, it turned into a pile of ghastly white bones.
Wang Shuishui laid limp on the floor, her eyes tightly shut.
Tang Luo helped her up and shook her a few times, waking her up.
Wang Shuishui opened her eyes, which were now dull and murky. Then, a foolish smile appeared on her face and drool dripped down the corners of her lips. 
"Yin energy has entered her brain and turned her into an idiot. She can't be saved anymore either." Tang Luo reached out, gripped Wang Shuishui's neck, and pressed on it, rendering her unconscious.
Then, he went back upstairs to check out the area.
Apart from the corpses there, he didn't find anything else.
"The headcount doesn't tally. Where are the others?" Tang Luo wondered.
Compared to the number of people in the group who had confirmed their attendance, the number of people Tang Luo had seen was a few short.
'It's unknown where they currently are. Or were these the only ones who came? All of them are already here?'
Wang Shuishui had already turned into an idiot. She naturally wasn't able to answer Tang Luo's questions.

One of the teams stayed in this particular villa to do the setup while the rest were stationed at the other villa.
The villa at the other side was actually the true main course that they had spent a significant amount of effort on.
This one here was just an appetizer.
The other villa's degree of completion in construction was even lower than the first one. Even the enclosing walls of the courtyard were only half-built.
It was a bare-bones house where only the structure was fully constructed. All the doors and windows were in place, though.
When Tang Luo pushed open the main door of the villa, he unexpectedly saw a figure standing right in front of him. There was even a hint of a smile on his face.
At the same time, resentful and accusing sobbing could be heard coming from the corner.
This figure wasn't anyone else but Tang Luo himself!
A full-length mirror capable of showing a person's reflection from head to toe stood right opposite the doorway at an area not too far off.
There was even a red candle that had already burned considerably lit up in front of it.
It felt as if some kind of horrifying ritual[1] was being held here.
Tang Luo ignored the mirror and the candle and walked over to the corner. A black audio player smaller than the size of a hand sat there.
It was even blocked from sight by other things. Evidently, it was one of the elements of the so-called main course.
What a shame that they had run into Tang Luo, someone who was here to subdue and vanquish demons to earn merits, instead. This was equivalent to making eyes at a blind man.
"Is anyone there?" shouted Tang Luo.
The place remained silent. No one answered him.
His gaze swept across the surroundings casually, but he didn't see anyone on the first floor. Tang Luo headed to the second floor.
He had only just reached the intermediate landing of the stairs and turned when he saw another figure.
To his surprise, it was yet another full-length mirror.
In the darkness, Tang Luo's blurry form was vaguely reflected in the mirror.
Tang Luo continued his way up and checked out the whole villa.
Mirrors had been placed at several turning points and other similar corners.
Had they probably wanted to set up a mirror-themed haunted house?
Apart from the mirrors, Tang Luo didn't make any other discoveries.
He didn't see anyone, nor did he spy any backpacks. Oh, other than that tiny music box.
"Where did they go?"
On the top floor, Tang Luo shone his flashlight at the mirror in front of him and stared at it.
In an environment like this, even his own face in the mirror felt terrifying.
It made people's hair stand on end.
Stories of supernatural incidents related to looking at the mirror in the middle of the night were pretty widely circulated.
After staring at it for a while, Tang Luo turned and walked over to the window. He pushed the stuck window open and looked out.
In the distance were the city's lights, while sparse black vegetation could be seen in the vicinity.
Behind him…
Within the mirror that no longer had a source of light pointing at it, Tang Luo's form, however, didn't turn in tandem with his action of turning around.
It maintained the pose where it faced outward, as though… there was a real person inside the mirror.
The corners of the lips of the Tang Luo in the mirror curled up bit by bit. At the same time, he leaned forward with a weird smile and fully pressed his face against the mirror's surface.
Ripples, like waves of water, appeared on the mirror's surface, as though someone slowly surfacing from the depths of a pool.
The Tang Luo in the mirror walked out of the mirror soundlessly.
He raised his arm and aimed it at the "I'm on the top floor admiring the scenery" Tang Luo.
When his palm was ten centimeters away from Tang Luo's back, it suddenly sped up and became a lot more forceful, shoving Tang Luo on his back violently.
And yet he didn't even budge an inch!
The incident of someone falling off from a building didn't occur.
Tang Luo didn't even look like he was about to fall forward.
The person in the mirror paused in his movements.
Tang Luo slowly looked behind him and cast a glance at him through his peripheral vision. Then, his palm went smacking toward him.
Crash!
A crisp crash later, the person in the mirror flew through the air.
Upon landing on the floor again, cracks appeared on its body. Then, it broke into pieces like a mirror.
It turned into black aura again and vanished.
"So it really is a Mirror Demon," murmured Tang Luo.
Mirror Demons, simply put, were demons that formed when mirrors merged with things like vengeful spirits and ghosts. 
Strictly speaking, they weren't actually considered demons but ghosts.
Objects such as bronze mirrors, portraits, and whatnot were considerably easier for vengeful spirits and ghosts to possess and merge with.
God of the Portrait and Demon of the Mirror were terms that the common people used when referring to ghosts like these.
Most ghosts possessed abilities such as possession, consuming the essence, energy, blood and spirit of humans, and other similar kinds of abilities.
The bat and the man who couldn't be saved in the other villa earlier were examples of this.
In the case of Mirror Demons, they possessed other kinds of special abilities too. Some powerful Mirror Demons could even create mirrors-in-mirrors and pull someone into it.
This particular Mirror Demon most likely couldn't, however.
The 'Tang Luo' in the mirror was just a reflection of the most superficial level.
Now that he had determined the identity of whatever was making mischief, things were a lot simpler from here out.
He kicked the full-length mirror in front of him. It broke into pieces and fell onto the floor. 
"It's not this one." Tang Luo walked over to another mirror.
He reached out and gave it a push.
The person in the mirror similarly reached out—outside of the mirror.
It hit against Tang Luo's palm and broke into pieces, starting from the palm all the way to the mirror too.
"That's two down."
Uncertain which of the mirrors was the main body, Tang Luo broke all the mirrors in the villa.
There was a total of seven to eight mirrors anyway, so it wouldn't take him much time and effort.
When the typical human was up against a Person in the Mirror and other similar creatures, even if they were lucky enough to survive, they would be maimed nonetheless.
But to Tang Luo, this was a piece of cake. Even another hundred of them wouldn't be able to stop him from destroying all the mirrors.
The sound of mirrors breaking resounded in the villa.
In just a few minutes, Tang Luo had broken all the mirrors.
He was left with only the one that he saw when he opened the door. Standing behind it, Tang Luo kicked at it as usual.
The mirror even knocked the candle over and put it out when it fell.
"Alright, it's all over…" A smile spread across Tang Luo's lips. "Did you think I would say that?" 
He had indeed broken all the mirrors, but the Mirror Demon wasn't dead yet.
None of these mirrors were the Mirror Demon's main body.
The mirrors had been brought here by Wang Shuishui and the others.
If the Mirror Demon's main body had been hiding in them, Wang Shuishui and the others wouldn't even have had the chance to do any filming.
Therefore, the Mirror Demon's main body was likely a mirror in the villa.
Besides, no matter how weak the Mirror Demon was, its main body wasn't something that just a light push to the floor could break. Most importantly, he hadn't received any power of virtuous merits, proving that the Mirror Demon wasn't dead yet.
Tang Luo didn't know how the Mirror Demon in the villa had come to be. He guessed that all the mirrors set up by these fellows had activated the pre-existing Mirror Demon, thereby leading to the incident of tonight.
"Let me see…"
Tang Luo raised his head and looked at the ceiling.
During his search earlier, he had basically already combed through the whole place. 
The only place he left out was above him.
As expected, an old bronze mirror slightly larger than a person's hand was hanging right above Tang Luo.
It was roughly ten centimeters away from the ceiling.
If one didn't deliberately look up and happen to shine their flashlight across it, it would be extremely difficult for anyone to discover it.
Tang Luo leaped up and reached out to grab the mirror.
At that moment, four people were squeezed out of the mirror in an instant as well. They had deathly pale faces and crimson red eyes. Their original faces were already distorted.
Tang Luo neither recognized their current selves nor knew what they used to look like.
However, he could hazard a guess based on the headcount. These were the remaining few missing people.
After switching from a grabbing stance to a palm stance instead, Tang Luo's arched fingers suddenly straightened. All five fingers spread open, and he dealt an Airy Palm Hit right out!

screamed the matron of the orphanage at the back of Alex as she made her getaway from the kitchen with a loaf of bread.
"Baka!" Alex screamed as she jumped out the window in the hallway of the orphanage and towards an alley. As if i'd ever stop after making my getaway with treasure' thought Alex while running through the alleyways towards the streets.walking around the garbage littering the alley she pulled out a compact mirror to make sure she won't look weird before entering the street. looking in the mirror she sees a boy about 11 with medium length messy grey hair that covered a pair of Heterochromia eyes that were amber and violet, button nose, a beauty mark below the left eye, and full lips. she was wearing a black tanktop with cream outer shirt, as well as a pair of black cargo shorts and combat boots. alex seeing as she looks pretty good decides to get to work, she makes her way into the crowd making sure to blend in while walking in the direction of the execution platform. along the way alex pickpockets wealthy looking people while occasionally stopping at food vendors to get snacks, as she was a glutton that was always hungry. She finally reached the stand and stood staring at it for who know how long before a marine with two cigars in his mouth approached her " what are you doing just standing there?" 
" just trying to imagine what the greatest man felt like before he was killed" was her casual reply to the marine, before turning away and heading towards the forest outside the city. After arriving at the forest she spent her time trying her body, anything form push-ups, sit-ups, squats, and running to carrying logs around and fighting the animals in the forest. Alex had plans and dreams for the future, she didn't want to be stuck on this island and always being remembered as the orphan thief, she wanted to travel the world and try all the typeset food it had to offer.

I'm alone...

again

It has been years, I got used to it and now I'm tired. Tired of everything that is going on around me. 

Been here for years now. 

My life is not a fairytale, not your dream "once upon a time". 

No man is an island they say, but here I am, alone in this society filled with people that are definitely literate but not when it comes to manners. 

Earlier it was gloomy outside, it was like the rain will start to fall anytime but then the sun decided to show up. The rays of the sun pierced through the curtains. I smiled as it reminded me of hope...hope that I wish I can have soon. 

I roamed my eyes throughout my studio type apartment, it  is pretty decent. My walls were painted yellow and blue, I also put some plants in the corner, to lift up the vibe. 

I sat on my old but comfortable bed and reached for the remote beside me and opened the television in front of me.

Corrupt politicians, missing people, deaths rising because of drugs...what is new? Is there any? I get tired of it.

I turned off the television, I got bored with the "unsolved" problems of my country. I stood up and walked to my vintage full length mirror. I stare at myself for a while, I look fine. I guess? That would not matter, this world will still look at me as if I am as filthy as a rug.


In my peripheral vision I can see the pile of newspaper but there was this one newspaper that got my attention. An old newspaper with a woman on the cover with an above the shoulder hair, opposite to mine. My right now grew up, up to my waist. I immediately touched mine. I never cut my hair that short what does it feels like? Will it make a huge difference?

I reached for the scissor on the table beside my mirror and grabbed my hair.

I was about to cut my hair when a cold breeze blew from the outside. It startled me for a bit that I lost grip of my hair. 

The window...

it was open. 

I put the scissor back on the table. I looked outside it is still pretty sunny. That was kinda eerie. That breeze was too cold for this warm weather. I chose to ignore and I closed the window. 

After that, I continue what I was about to do earlier, I cut my hair. 

I felt— nothing, I thought it would lift my mood up a little bit or it would bring something new...like the hope I have been longing for so long...


but it did not.

Maybe my life is destined to be like this and I and I am destined to be who I am today. 


I suddenly felt the anger and the pain and I do not know why? It is weird, really weird. 


Why is life needs to be as unfair as this?
