After 15 years of inactivity, Starry Dawn announced its new game Realm of Legends, the first full dive MMO game. James Chasetot is a high school senior who won a free copy of the game before its release. The game world has endless secrets waiting to be discovered, and James stumbles unknowingly upon one of the biggest on the release day.

It's already two months after Gea last time in B city with Andrea, Deena, and her children. In the last two months, Gea's back and forth between S' city and B city spending time with her new families sent by God... Gea is always very grateful for it. 

However, during that period Andrea still can't make David and Gea meet coincidentally as she afraid Gea will make a distance if she knew what Andrea wants, or worse losing her, on the other hand, David more believe in meeting coincidentally, than a setup meeting. He said 'if they were meant to be they'll meet somehow'.

It's not like Andrea or Deena never had made an effort, there always something that prevents them from meeting, like last week when David stayed till Saturday with his mother, Gea arrived late at night, and when Andrea makes Gea wait for David suddenly he calls to tell her that he can not come dealing with an urgency that happened in the last minute.

Gea still at her office arranged some files, after a session with the last client. Gea sigh looks at the invitation on her table. It's a simple black card with S' silver embroidered letter in the middle of it. It is a ball invitation from S' management and only a few people out of the company that invited to.

Gea is not a party people but doesn't mean she will not attend it, this kind of even it's Gea ways to gain access and information more of her client through observation especially in their way of interacting with others consider that some of them are in the entertainment industry.

Mr Adam is not an option for this time and Gea still put behind and doesn't even consider Dj advice on asking help from Andrea to Asked David as her plus one. unexpectedly her phone beeps ["Gea, it's Dave I have something to ask for, can I call you?]

When Dave has Gea personal number last time, they already talked and meet a couple of times. Gea also not consider Dave because she knew that Dave has someone he would like to ask, they discuss it so many times and Gea been encouraging Dave to ask out the woman that he interesting too.

Gea does not give Dave a reply instead, she called him straight and when the phone connects Dave desperate voice could be noticed

"Hy" 

"Hi, I could hear your sigh" Gea told Dave she could sense something

"Hmmm, you not only a psychologist but you have a super ear as well" Dave sound a bit irritated by Gea comments

"Ha...ha. Thank you for your appreciation" Gea like to tease Dave

"Yea...ya... ya"

"What's, you need?" Gea cut Dave before, he could tease her back.

"Do you have plans for tomorrow night?" 

"Why you asked? I may, I may not" Gea wasn't sure of Dave intention so she not want to jump into any conclusion 

" I have this ball invitation from 'S' Management if you don't have any plans for tomorrow night, could you become my plus one?... please " Dave knows Gea is not a party person that is why he pleaded her.

"Why not asked her?" Gea really happy knowing her dilemma solved with this, however, she still wondering why Dave did not use this chance to ask for that woman out

"It's her company ball and as the host of the ball, she has a lot of in her hand than to be someone plus one," Dave explained why he ended up asking her

"Oh so you do ask, heh" Gea smirked but Dave can't see her

"Nope, I make JJ found out if she's available for the ball or not, he..he...he" David chuckle

"Hmmm, I'll think about it" Gea sure Dave doesn't have another choice besides her, therefore she would like to have him pleading.

"C'mon you'll only spend your weekend either with movies, novels or even going back to B city" during their time spent Dave learns that Gea enjoyed those activities during her weekend 

"At least I enjoyed it than attend a ball invitation" Gea smile mischievously

"Please, I prepared everything for you... the dress, makeup, everything you need for the ball, you just need to be my plus one... please, I'll drive you to B city every weekend for a month,"  Dave begging, he knew that Gea would prefer car than train, however, she's not enjoying the driving part and don't really like to be drive-by just any other person.

"every weekend for three months" Gea reply

"every weekend for two months count whenever my schedule is free," Dave thought, un continuously eight weekends should be okay as he could use it as well.

"Done" Gea happily smile

" Thank You, you save me" Dave really happy 

"You are welcome"....' you save me as well' Gea last sentence can't be heard by Dave as she only mouthed it

Gea heard a knock on her door before it's open

" It's 11:00 pm, are you going to stay here more?" Dj's face pop up when the door opened

"No, everything is finished I am ready to go up," Gea told Dj without looking up as she is standing and tide up her desk

"Including the 'S' ball plus one?" Dj walked inside and voice out her curiosity understanding Gea meaning behind the 'finished' word, it means everything she needs to take care of already solved 

"Yup, including the plus one" Gea talk while turning off the lights in her office and drag Dj out didn't bother query looks in Dj's face

Dj gave a pout in her face and walked really slow to the elevator to protest for not having an explanation of Gea plus one for tomorrow night. 

"I believe that my schedule tomorrow will be foremost until 2:00 pm " Gea know Dj already arranged her schedule for half-day tomorrow consider the invitation arrived a week ago and Gea has told her that she will go and needs someone as her plus one

" Your last session schedule is on 12:00, after that, you are free to do whatever you want" Dj look at elevator floor and response a little bit mad

"Dj. I am talking about my schedule, not my free time" Gea talk to Dj assertively 

Dj lookup at Gea face and saw her care and love for her, even in her statement Dj could notice Gea ways of care for her

"I am sorry, your last session is on 12:00, after that you do not have any other appointment" Dj reply to Gea her response once again 

"Thank you, and I am sorry too"  Gea pulls Dj to herself

"It's me, Dave, plus one, and as his plus one I have an extra invitation on me, therefore tomorrow at 2.15 pm both of us have an appointment in  'Malikha B&B' " Gea whispered in Dj's ear while they're hugging each other

"Really... really? can I bring my plus one with me?" DJ lookup at Gea's face with her cat eyes

"Yup," Gea reply when she's heading to their apartment and before entering her room she told DJ to bring George her plus one in 'Malikha B&B ' to choose his suits as well.

Andrea wishes for David and Gea could meet at least even once, however when they finally meet she barely hide her disappointment seeing Gea already have someone beside her. 

Andrea fall in love with Gea at first sight, her heart, her behaviour, the way she treats her and others... it's really a complete package for future wife. She tried everything that she could think of to make David and Gea meet. She asked nothing anymore, if only Gea could be her son wife


"No at all, madam. I welcome it." He retrieved eggs from the refrigerator along with a tomato and various fresh herbs.
"Cheese?" He asked while staring into the refrigerator's contents.
"If you were making it for yourself would you want cheese?" She asked.
"No." He closed the refrigerator decisively. "For me, simple is best. Salt, pepper, tomato and fresh herbs."
"Sounds good to me." 
While he cracked the eggs into a bowl, Sidney got up to pour herself some of the coffee and Gio's head swung in her direction, one brow up and the other dipped. That was the look of disapproval.
"Allow me." He stopped what he was doing to retrieve a coffee mug from the cabinet and to pour her a cup of the freshly brewed coffee. Sidney took her seat again, mentally kicking herself for forgetting. "Cream or sugar?" he asked.
"Both." 
Instead of putting the cream and sugar into her coffee he placed a small serving set containing the cream and sugar before her. 
"Thank you." She said.
"My pleasure madam."
She cleared her throat and inhaled but then bit her tongue. He gave her a curious look. 
"Madam? Is there anything more?"
She opened her mouth, paused and then smiled. "No. Thank you Gio."
His expression subtly changed. He didn't give her the displeased look, exactly, but he was dissatisfied. "Let me know if you change your mind," he said simply.
And she realized that the expressions that he wore were orchestrated to teach her without him having to be overt. Let him do his job. Let him serve. 
"Gio," she said quickly. "I don't like when you call me madam or miss. Can you just call me Sidney?" Her face burned at the way he looked at her without responding. She should just go out to the balcony and sit her ass down.
"Okay, Sidney," he finally said while turning back to the counter to finish prepping her breakfast. 
After a few minutes of uncomfortable silence Gio finally spoke. "You are not the first person to make this request." He glanced at her from over his shoulder. Okay, he didn't appear annoyed by her. "It is the nature of my job to maintain some distance and we do this in many ways. But I prefer first names as well." And then he smiled at her before returning his attention to the omelet.
She smiled to herself in relief. When he turned to her again, he had a perfect omelet on a plate garnished with fresh herbs and thick slices of slightly fried tomatoes.
Her eyes widened at the size. "That's one big omelet."
He just smiled.
"Will you eat half?"
"No," he said simply. But he picked up the plate and carried it back to the stove and right before she was going to complain about him taking it away, he returned it with half of the food removed."
"One of us will eat the other half later. But I have already had my breakfast," he said. "Now, would you like to be served on the balcony or at the dining room table?"
"Here is fine." Before he could give her a disapproving look, she explained. "I don't want my eggs getting cold while you carry it all around creation." She picked up her fork and knife and cut into her omelet and tomato without seeing Gio's suppressed laughter. He placed the platter of bread before her and then poured more juice into her juice glass and freshened her coffee. He left the room and then returned with the platter of fruit, which he also placed before her.
"Excuse me, Sidney while I finish preparation for your excursion." He headed out the kitchen.
"Thank you for cooking breakfast," she called.
 "My pleasure," he said but thought, thank you for appreciating it.

After breakfast Sidney resisted the urge to stack the dishes in the sink and instead went out to the balcony. She gazed down at the lower level where kids rode the carousel, families walked around carrying ice cream cones and couples enjoyed the warm weather as they walked hand in hand. 
Gio is the only person I know on this cruise ship, she thought. I need to mingle and meet people. She turned to the virtual assistant.
"Assistant, what are todays shipboard activities?"
The voice of the virtual assistant responded. "Tonight there will be a Captain's formal dinner in the VIP lounge. Formal attire is required and black and white is the suggested theme. Dinner begins at eight pm. An Ice sculpting demonstration is scheduled on the lido deck, deck four. You have an open reservation for today's show, Hanson's Folly's in the Mandarin Theater. Show times are one pm and nine pm. There is a VIP champagne art auction in the Champagne Galley on deck six beginning at six pm. French DJ, DJ Aleksi will be spinning tunes in the Countess Club on deck eleven at midnight. Live jazz will be performed-"
"Stop, Assistant," Sidney said. The black and white formal dinner would be the perfect opportunity to meet some other people. Maybe she would find someone her age to hang out with. 
Gio came out on the deck and stood beside her. "Are you ready for the excursion?" He asked. 
"Already? I guess I'll try to go swimming when we get back. I definitely want to go to the Captain's formal dinner, though."
"Would you prefer to go to the beach instead of on the walking tour? It's at a cozy resort with watersports, masseuse, gourmet lunch-"
"Or I could walk around a city that I've never even heard of before this cruise? I think I'm sold on the beach."
"Your wish is my command," he said with a nod of his head before heading out the door. 
The walking tour was handled by a professional tour group, and he would not have attended the tour with her. The beach resort was different, though. His services would be needed to attend to his guest. Normally he would have preferred the time to himself while a guest went on their excursions, but he couldn't deny the fact that he looked forward to spending the day with Sidney while was dressed in a bathing suit. "You may wish to pack for a day at the beach, Sidney."
She looked at him, liking the way her name sounded on his lips.

Syra and Kyrie were alone in the elevator. She'd been glancing sideways at him since they'd parted from Candor and Professor Hogswell.

"Kyrie, I … I won't be able to fix everything, but I can heal you more." Syra watched as Kyrie flexed his fist that felt looser and better now that the aches, he hadn't realized he had, were gone. Syra could truly heal him.

The mess of the muscles in his back ached and felt too tight. They normally did but he'd tried to ignore them for years as the damage worsened. "I'd like that. Thank you." Kyrie smiled at Syra as he said, "I could pay you back with stories about James."

Syra blushed and batted Kyrie's arm. "I'm free Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday mornings. We can have your healing sessions than." Syra glanced at Kyrie's scared hands then back at his face. "If something comes up and you need healing, I'll be in the infirmary the other mornings."

Kyrie nodded as the elevator stopped. The doors opened and Kyrie paused in the doorway. "If you want, I can pay you."

Syra smiled with warm cheeks as she said, "Stories about James'll work."

Kyrie nodded and stepped out. Syra slumped against the elevator wall and looked at the ceiling as she said, "What the hell am I going to do now?" Kyrie's secret was beyond a dangerous one it was horrifying and yet it was craved by many. And if it spread it could warp his soul irreparably. To Syra, the secret Kyrie bore kept him from turning and yet took all control of remaining himself from Kyrie.

She couldn't tell them, she could tell no one what kyrie truly was. The elevator door slid open and Syra walked out. Her shoulders were tall but heavy. If Kyrie was like that then it could happen to anyone.

That night as Kyrie shut off his sensing for aura and practiced hunting without it, Syra sat at the desk in her room. She picked up a pen and tore a sheet of paper from her notebook. She slipped the letter into an envelope and placed it in her treasure box. The envelope said, *To James please read if Kyrie turns into a legend.*

Syra stood up, her letter was written, and it was time for bed. She'd start her hunt for a way to help Kyrie in the morning.

It was Thursday morning when Centra's bad nights of sleep caught up with her. She nodded off at breakfast her face was almost in her food when DJ caught and woke her up.

DJ sighed and said, "I'll move back in with Kyrie."

"Ah." Centra watched DJ with wide eyes. She didn't want him to go back to sleeping elsewhere but she wasn't sleeping with their current arrangement.

Jasper glanced between Centra and DJ. He was done with the charm he was going to give Kyrie; he could make one for DJ next. "I – I ca-ca," Jasper coughed then groaned. He'd made it through yesterday without stuttering. And now it was back. "I ca-can make DJ a s-silence charm. H-he can wear it w-well he sleeps." Stupid stuttering.

Centra watched Jasper in sleepy desperation. Silence. That was exactly what she needed to sleep. "please do it."

Jasper nodded and put his dishes in the sink. "I – I'll go start."

DJ turned to their other tried-ish looking teammate. "So, Kyrie are you free Saturday?" He had to be free on Saturday. That was the day DJ'd planned the surprise party for.

"I think so. Candor said he had work for us if we wanted it." DJ had been acting shifty the past few days. He must've felt awkward asking Kyrie to train with him. "Do you want to do a joint training session?"

DJ smiled. That assumption would work perfectly. "Yeah. Can we meet at the bell tower at 1?" The eastern bell tower at 1 pm?" The eastern bell tower was from an older time. It was how the students were once informed of an attack. The eastern bell tower was near the beach training grounds DJ'd reserved. The plan was back on track.


Kyrie was waiting under the shadow of the east bell tower. It was 1:03 pm. DJ was late.

Caleb and Rick walked past the tower and Kyrie. They headed to the training grounds. They usually spent their weekends training. On weeknights, Caleb's father wouldn't accept the excuse of training keep Caleb away. If it was an evening Caleb was to be home at club 58.

Caleb grinned when he saw Kyrie. He was particularly sour on the weekends and on Monday's. "Kyrie do you need someone to help you whore yourself out?"

Kyrie turned and looked at Caleb with extreme confusion. "What are you talking about?"

Caleb shrugged his grin was still there. "It just looked like you were waiting for someone to pick you up. And well," Caleb sneered, "Your being paid a fourth the cost laborers are. Must be the only way a failed hero like you could get a job."

Rick sighed. "Caleb let's go." If it hadn't been the weekend Rick would've gently tugged on Caleb's shoulder. But it wasn't, and he knew better than to touch Caleb when he was like this.

Kyrie watched Caleb with concern. Something was off with Caleb. Caleb was always off but it was different today. And it seemed like Caleb was trying to goad him into a fight. Chances were high Caleb would seek Jasper out to bully him if Kyrie did nothing. "I'm waiting for DJ, we're going to train. Why don't you and Rick join us?" DJ'd be okay with it, especially after Kyrie got the chance to explain.

"Perfect. I'd have spared with Ren but she ditched me for some dudes birthday party." Caleb said as he stood next to Kyrie he grinned as he said, "Now we both look like male hookers." His Dad would be so pissed. He'd nearly pulled Caleb out of school when he learned Kyrie was there. He didn't want a fallen hero to spoil his precious child or learn about the – family Caleb was a part of.

Caleb may have held some information that'd cause trouble for his father over his head. And now that Caleb knew how much it pissed his father off for him to spend time around Kyrie, Caleb was going to go out of his way to associate with the failed hero.

Kyrie rolled his eyes at Caleb. They looked like normal guys. "Who's the guy you're jealous of?"

Caleb narrowed his eyes at Kyrie. "I ain't jealous of no twit so pathetic they couldn't handle me at their party."

Kyrie smiled at Rick who sighed and joined them under the tower.

Ren had told Rick to keep Caleb away from James's team, Jasper, and Kyrie. When he asked why she told him they were all going to the party Caleb was supposed to stay away from. It seems like the hero was skipping the party. That explained a lot about his capabilities.

Kyrie said, "Oh your jealous and I'd bet you four credits she didn't tell you who it was for."

Caleb scoffed and refused to look at Kyrie. "I ain't taken that bet."

Kyrie folded his arms and leaned against the tower. He glanced at Rick. "How have you been?"

"Huh? Uh, good." Or as good as he could be on a weekend. He'd been assigned the role of personal bodyguard for Caleb when he discovered his ability by keeping Caleb from getting run over. They'd been friends before then and after that Rick was a friend who didn't know what to do. And a bodyguard that couldn't keep his charge safe.

"Caleb is so jealous." Kyrie said as he watched Rick.

Rick smirked at Caleb and shrugged as he said, "A little bit."

Caleb glared at them with the hint of a smile. "Idiots."

DJ was late because he and James had messed up their first attempt at making the savory breakfast pie. He ran to the eastern tower from the training grounds he'd reserved. It was 1:15 pm and he was still there. He was nearly at the tower when he stopped.

Fuck, Kyrie was talking with Caleb and Rick. It was all right, he could handle it and get just Kyrie to the party. "Hey, Kyrie! Sorry, I'm late."

Kyrie smiled as he said, "It's fine. Caleb and Rick want to join us for training. I thought …" Kyrie's smile left as he watched DJ's shoulders tense. "We could do some 2 v 2 training."

Well, that wasn't good. DJ glanced from Caleb to Kyrie as he said, "I was kinda hoping we could train as just the two of us."

Kyrie glanced at Caleb as he said, "Could we do that tomorrow?"

"Not really." DJ watched Kyrie carefully. Kyrie seemed very set on bringing the two of them. The question was, how would they react to finding out about the surprise party. Knowing what DJ did about Caleb it was easy to see that Caleb'd probably crash it. The best option was to convince Kyrie the joint training should happen at a different time. "We could do joint training with them another time."

"DJ." Kyrie was not going to let Caleb mess with Jasper. DJ and he could handle Caleb just fine. "Were training with them. Or I'm training with them."

Dj grimaced, well shit.

It’s time for humanity to fall and the city of Laserath is a wonderful place for the Chars to start it all.

Leora paused, the song reminded her of a certain pretty girl she met. "Hey I gotta go..." she mumbled and opened the van door.
Caleb looked at Leora and grabbed her arm."Oh like hell you are," he said and pulled her back in.
DJ's eyes widened and he slammed the door back shut. "What is that thing?!" He asked quickly, and Courtney was just watching Chase.
Leora turned to Caleb and twisted her arm out of his grasp and shoved him back. She worked with heavy metal all day every day, she was stronger than she looked.
At the sirens singing Chase turned his head to look at her outside of the van, not paying attention to Courtney. He carefully opened the driver side door while everyone else was distracted with the others. Entranced by the sirens voice, Chase got out of the car.
Ryker readjusted himself to sit up right in the back back seat.
Courtney gently hit DJ's arm. "Get in the drivers seat."
DJ's eyes widened and he looked at her. "I'm sorry WHAT?!"
"WE DONT HAVE TIME JUST GET IN THE FUCKING DRIVERS SEAT-"
"I CANT EVEN FUCKING DRIVE WHAT-"This went on for about fifteen seconds, but ended with DJ in the drivers seat. Oh god.
Courtney looked over and tackled Chase to the ground, holding onto him and making a forcefield so neither of them hit the ground.
Leora hopped out of the car and slammed the door on Caleb. She wasn't having it. She looked back at the siren.
Caleb huffed and followed Leora almost running into Chase. this was gonna be hard. Caleb saw where she was going. He just had to slow her down.
Leora kept walking. She was entranced.
Courtney looked at Leora and took a deep breath, hamster rolling over to Leora. She engulfed her in the force field and just kept rolling, headed back to the van.
"Let me out!!" Leora shouted and hit the side of it.
Caleb kinda just stopped looking at the situation. uh-
DJ watched this, momentarily stalling his panic as she rolled back toward the van. This was. Hard.
Ryker rolled his eyes and crawled up front and out of the van to help Courtney get the two back into the van.
Stopping the forcefield, she released it and shoved chase back inside. Now she had to prepare for a fight with Ms Hulk.
Leora did not look happy. "Move." Leora said simply.
Courtney took a deep breath. "As much as I want to, you know I can't."
Caleb saw chase get thrown back in and helped keep him back in. He held back from using his dagger since at the moment his favorite hand (aka with his bad wrist) got twisted by a certain she hulk.
Leora pulled her dagger out. "Why not? I'll be happy if I go that way. Its like... I know the pretty girl is that way." Leora said and frowned.
Courtney inhaled sharply and she put her hands up. She didn't have weapons. "I promise you'll be happier this way, and... I can't let you go that way."
"I don't wanna hurt you. But if you don't move then I have to." Leora said simply and put herself in a defensive stance.
Ryker has help keep Chase back, but had his dagger drawn. He watched carefully and was ready to step in and help Courtney if needed.
"Well..." Courtney laughed awkwardly. "I'm not moving, so..."
Leora frowned, her eyes moved back to the siren and she seemed to become more determined to get past Courtney. "Last chance."
Courtney huffed. "Still not moving."
Leora sighed and swung her dagger at Courtney. Mostly just wanting to knock her off balance so she could knock Courtney out of the way.
Courtney quickly ducked and tried shoving her back into the van.
Leora kicked her in the side of the knee. "Just let me go!" She snapped.
She stumbled back and winced before kicking her in the stomach.
Leora seemed to just snap. She roundhouse kicked Courtney in the chest and then swung her dagger at her.
Courtney took a deep breath and ducked, then shoved her back again. "GET IN THE CAR-"
Leora stabbed her dagger down into the top of Courtney's shoulder.
She screamed out in pain and grabbed her shoulder, shutting her eyes tightly. Oh shit.
DJ looked over and his eyes widened in horror. "Courtney-"
Leora pulled her dagger of Courtney's shoulder roughly. Unphased by what she did.
Caleb snapped his head over to Courtney. He bit his cheek, staring at Leora. fuck-
Courtney opened her eyes and was blinded by the green radiating off of Leora, grabbing her shoulder as she hit the side of the van.
DJ was horrified.
Ryker had snuck around Leora after all of this and well... tackled Leora to the ground from the side. The two hit the ground hard. He then took the hilt of his sword and swung down to hit her on the head to knock her out. no more stabby stab.
Chase, now not having someone watching him, he turned to look at Caleb, who had been holding him back. He then lunged at him inside the van, slamming Caleb into the door, aiming to choke him out.
Leora was now down for the count.
She was ordinarily so soft and sweet. She prided herself on not hurting people, she couldn't even bring herself to give her all while sparring or playing capture the flag.
Courtney stood back up and helped Ryker get Leora back into the van. "Come on, we have to GO-"
The siren was getting closer, grinning evilly.
Caleb struggled against the door, his other hand went to his dagger. He struggled for a breath and kicked Chase back. He felt terrible but he had to.
Ryker picked up Leora for the rest of the way, putting her into the car.
Chase got sent back and kinda just like.. got stuck on the ground of the van.
"DJ get us the fuck out of here!" Ryker raised his voice a bit, grabbing onto Chase and taking him into the backseat of the van as he got free. Chase was struggling against Ryker's hold but wasn't successful in breaking free at the moment.
Caleb caught his breath as Ryker got Chase. He quickly shut the door.
DJ looked at them in the rear view, inhaling sharply. Looking back straight, he stared at all the dials and switches, not knowing what to do first. The car was already on, he just... had to get it going. Oh god...
Courtney looked up from her spot on the ground, still holding her shoulder as she pushed herself up into the backseat.
DJ stared at all of them and then looked back forward. He felt like he was going to throw up. He had no idea what he was doing.
"We haven't got all day DJ!" Caleb said looking out the window as the siren drawer near.
DJ shut his eyes tightly. "Okay okay, just- oh god-" he bit his lip and hit the gas, sending the van flying backward. His eyes widened and he slammed on the brake, looking at the stuff. Sliding it into the drive position, he hit the gas again and went speeding into the merge lane, back onto the highway.
Caleb held on as the car was flung back, hurting his wrist a bit more but he'll live.
Leora was in nap land still. Her head was gonna hurt pretty bad.
Chase tried to bite Ryker's arm as he held him when the car jerked around, causing Ryker to just kinda smack Chase's head with his other hand, moving his arm out of the way.  Ryker then looked up at Caleb. "You know first aid blondie?" He asked, glancing over at Courtney.
Courtney inhaled sharply and shut her eyes as her shoulder hit the back of the chair. She kept her eyes shut tightly, gripping onto her necklace with her free hand. She was trying to forget about the pin, cause she kept hitting her shoulder as DJ swerved in and out of traffic.
DJ was having a terrible time, moving in between cars rapidly and getting out of the range of the sirens song.
"Yea, know it good enough" Caleb nodded and looked over to Courtney. He sighed and reached for Chase's bag. "This should be fun," he muttered almost getting thrown out as DJ swerved again.
DJ took a deep breath and sighed. "Can someone else please drive now??"
Caleb was busy with Courtney shoulder. "Is Chase back to normal?" He asked not looking away from what he was doing.
"Okay, let me go Ryker, seriously." Chase frowned, stopping struggling against him.
Ryker let him go and rolled his eyes.
"I can take over-" Chase looked at what Caleb was doing and sighed. "-DJ pull over and I can drive us."
DJ blinked a few times and stared. "...uh... o-okay...." DJ swerved onto the side of the road and slammed on the brakes.
Leora fell from the seat to the floor. Still in nappy land.
Chase went flying forward up up front, catching himself on the middle console arm rest thingy as DJ slammed on the brakes. "Great job..." he sighed as he carefully pushed himself up, and out of the car to take over the driving.
Ryker chuckled softly to himself as he held himself down so he didn't go flying.
DJ took a deep breath and quickly got out of the drivers seat, going back to the very back and sitting down next to Ryker.
Caleb still sat with Courtney and had gotten the wound to at least stop bleeding.
And off they went.

Around Camp Halfblood, life is never normal. When campers start falling asleep, never waking up, panic begins to set in. Set off on a journey with some halfbloods to stop whoever is putting everyone to sleep. Will they do this before it is too late?

A grand romantic gesture. That's what every woman wanted. They want to be swept off their feet and in Jin Hyun's experience, they want everyone that mattered to see it happen. Jin Hyun had a fickle idea about the actual needs and wants of women. Being able to show him off was what all women ever really wanted from him anyway. A good show. Jin hoped Zhi was the same for this plan to work but the fact that he had to question if she would appreciate it, was what was driving him to her. She seemed completely different from all that attention seeking females he was used to. 
He thought back to the night of the party. The silver-haired beauty had deep wild eyes, a defined jawline, a perfect tight body, and long slender legs. Her legs had the perfect combination of rhythm and balance. With sharp movements, she was able to not only follow along but she actually brought flavor to the routine that he had never seen before. There were talented dancers that had a hard time keeping up with him and that women..that damn sexy dancing Queen was beyond skilled. "No other girl can get me burning down there like that silver-haired fox," Jin admitted as he watched her make her way through the club.

Zhi's ears filled with loud music that pounded hard and coursed throughout her entire body. She suddenly felt chills run down her spine and it excited her. Dancing was more than just relief it was a cure. A cure for almost anything and everything. 
Tonight Zhi planned to drink and dance the stress from this one-sided love she had held onto for so long. Tonight she planned to just let loose and let it all go after all thats what Tadashi had done. 
Tadashi Gao hadn't returned any of the calls she had left for him or even try to reach out in any way to her. It was unclear why the man brought her ice cream and agreed to a long lost letter, followed her to a party, found her a manager and then sent her to a fancy spa just to ignor her. It was more unclear why he then chose to completely forget about her for two weeks. What could that even mean?
Zhi followed Howin closely as she easily navigated through the crowd. They reached the bar fast and the drinks they ordered were quickly given to them. 
"Bottoms up," Howin shouted.
Zhi looked around to see what kind of attention Howins shouting caused. Many of the nearby people were indeed looking at them. Zhi met many of their eyes before turning pink. Zhi Ruo turned back to Howin and pounded back her drink. "Bartender one more round please!" 
Howin's face stretched out like Laffy Taffy with a wicked smile before she did a single-handed first bump. "Yes, let's have another and then we dance!"
Zhi went pink again. Howin sure is a loud girl.

Howin could see Zhi's face cringe. "Zhi you're going to be famous soon you really can't be this introverted. It's time you break free."

That's why she wanted to dance. It was her own way of breaking free. Zhi was used to being in front of a computer screen without anybody else around. She was used to avoiding attention and had a practiced skill of going undetected. She was even reserved around her fellow game developer squad that were probably the closest people to her at the moment. If they could see her now they would be baffled. 

Jin Hyun witnessed the whole scene. "I wonder if she knows the crowd of people were actually looking at her and not her friend for being noisy."
It shouldn't be long now. Once she reaches the dance floor the show will begin. Jin made eye contact with the three people waiting for the signal. The DJ was paid off to put on a beat as soon as the mystery girl hit the dance floor.

Howin grabbed Zhi's hand and the two danced all the way to the middle of the room. Zhi could feel her shoulders loosening and her tension fading away. 
 Both hands, feet and every head motion were exactly the way it was supposed to be. Zhi fell into step letting the music control her movements.
When Zhi let the dance flow within her,  her body sang like it was the only way her body knew how to speak.
Howin was mesmerised with the sudden beauty Zhi Ruo became. The music seemed to tame her wild eyes and her beautiful pale face flushed with color. Zhi danced like nobody was around and everybody took notice. Even the DJ fell into the trance. "Who is that?" The DJ asked a few people that were cluttering the DJ booth. 
"I don't know," they answered. Some of them took their phones out and began recording the mesmerizing girl that was clearly bearing her soul out on the dance floor. All of the surrounding people were famous in the music industry and talented dancers were always in high demand. They all wanted to know who she was as well.
"She would be perfect for my video for the Iron Cage DJ competition. Somebody find out who that is!" The delighted DJ called out. The DJ wanted to watch her finish the dance before he honored the deal he made with Jin Hyun. She was the missing piece he had been looking for.

In a dark room, Zhi started to wake up. She found herself slipping in and out of consciousness. A metallic and slightly sweet smell of blood filled her nose that was followed by a harsh smell of urine, feces and burning trash. "Where am I?"
Zhi's breathing became labored until she could only hyperventilate.
Zhi's head was hurting from where she was struck and was nursing an unbearable headache. She tried but wasn't able to free her hands to check her wounds. Panic sunk in. "How..can..this..be..happening." Each word felt like pulling teeth. No..no.. no..no..no..please God don't let this be happening again. This time, there would be no Tadashi. This time she wouldn't be saved, she will die here. A door cracked open. Bits of light seeped through. Instead of fresh air coming in the rancid smell intensified in the tiny room. 
"Good, you're awake. I hate that you made me stay here this long. I'll make you suffer twice as much as I just did. The voice got angry and violent, "I mean, you even made me leave before getting my future husband's name." 
Zhi was slapped hard in the face over and over. "Are you listening to me little Ruo?"


Here we find Dj heading to the woods where he haves a big cabin for himself secured for training and the enjoy of view, with all the free time he had he went fishing. Before he could get all his things ready, he heard a voice calling for help deep in the woods. He saw a few branches broken so it led to a small trail of who ever got injured. A male werewolf was crying for help for his leg injury. "Hey... can you help me out here...? I can't barely move..." As the werewolf was asking for help, Dj dint know what to do but he couldn't just leave the poor guy alone, so he decided to carry him to his cabin. "Thank you for helping me by the way..." "No need, I'm just doing what is supposed to be right." Dj was getting excited to find a rare creature in a place like this but he understands if the society finds out about it they will do experiments to him.  "So um... where are you taking me?" The Werewolf wanted to know where he was been taken to since he doesn't know nothing and were he has at that moment. "Well for starters, my name is Dj and what is your name?"  "Oh, my name is Wulf, I came here in look for an old pal of mine called Dennis." Dj heard that name before and he was sure that he knows the guy.
"You are looking for the infamous Dennis the Menace?" Wulf started to get scared since he recalled that Dennis called himself like that for a while back. "Y-yea... that's the one." "I know where you can find him, but I won't let you go with that injuries." Dj finally carried Wulf to the cabin and laid him down on the couch to make a question to Wulf. "Hey, can I go with you? I can help you out on the search." Wulf was thinking if to let Dj come with him while he was dealing with the leg injury." You can come if you want to." "OK, I think you're good to go tomorrow." Wulf was confused but to not make his new friend worry he played along with it, Dj went out to catch some air while going for a walk around the lake, leaving Wulf alone in the cabin. "Dang it, I should have asked him if he knew something about the others..."  Wulf was worried that something must have happened on the long turn of events of not seen each other after their last mission that may have caused some sort of memory loss. Dj recently returned with a few logs of wood for the chimney while figuring out what too cook.  "I should have brought a recipe book with me when I was on the store." Wulf saw Dj having a bit of trouble, luckily, he knew a few recipes. "Dude, if you want to make something, you have to do it right!" Wulf gotten up from the couch to do all the cooking, he had his claws already out to cut everything. "Step aside friend."
Wulf pushed Dj out of the kitchen so he can do the cooking without delay. He tossed the vegetable above him to cut them down landing on different bowls, he carefully mixed them to create a salad to focus on the main dish. "What ingredients do you have here?" "There's spices on the cabinets and there's supposed to be meat in the fridge." "That won't do!" Wulf took off his shirt and rapidly went into the lake to hunt down some fish. "The actual hell?! Be careful!!" Dj followed Wulf to make sure he was fine. Wulf was able to get the fishes, but he couldn't swim so he was stuck underwater until Dj pulled him out. Wulf was out cold and wasn't responding until nighttime, leaving all the cooking into DJ's hands. "What happened...?" Wulf tried to get up but he tripped. "You almost drowned, we are heading out tomorrow so eat up and rest." With Wulf's bad luck he was sure that it was one of the missing links with Dennis, but there are others on their way to meet him.

Nick listens as people were cheering and  carrying on in a loud ruckus as Nick stands with his shirt off, his arms wrapped together as a bag was still over his head 

A man eventually comes over and cuts Nick's bindings before pulling the sack off of his head as Nick blinks and scans about as he sees he's standing in a graveled out pit that was inside and under a nearby vacant building, that was at the rim of the Zero Company's confined area. Nick watches as a gate stretched around the pit as at least 40 men were smoking and drinking and being rowdy as they were clearly all placing bets with a man as Nick eventually spots Anthony as he climbs the gate and is helped up to a little platform. 

Anthony: Boys, welcome to the best game show in town!

Nick: I knew you guys were fucking insane. 

Anthony: Good intuition, hell, that may save you!

Nick: Whatever. Get on with it. 

Anthony: Three rounds. Survive, you go free and earn some cash. But we will have to take your tongue. 

Nick: That it?

Anthony: You shouldn't act so cocky boy. 

Nick turns as a door opens that leads into the pit as 5 walkers are corralled and herded inside as the crowd cheers at the sight as Nick looks around and grabs at a nearby pipe as Anthony smiles and says

Anthony: Round one!

Nick bashes the pipe across the skull of the first walker and it drops as another quickly lunges towards him, Nick hitting it across the temple so hard that the top part of its rotting head goes flying off of the head in gory chunks as the zombie falls over as Nick kicks another back and pushed the fourth and fifth as he steps away to get a better angle. 

The crowd cheers as Anthony watches intently as Nick jumps and slams the pipe down over the fourth zombies skull, killing it as he then takes out the third zombie by slamming the pipe through its head from behind as it was starting to get up. The fifth and last zombie had a clear opening and goes in for a bite but Nick's reflexes are too sharp and he sidesteps it and bashes the zombie three times across its face as Nick turns and faces Anthony as the zombies brains come seeping out of it's cracked open skull as it falls onto its face.

The crowd was in a frenzy as Nick drops the pipe and flips everyone off. 

Nick: That's the best you got?!

Anthony: Wouldn't have dropped that pipe if I were you…

Nick turns as he watches the doors open again as 3 runners are let in as they beeline straight towards him. 

Nick runs in a circle and turns and kicks the closest one away as he scoops the pipe up and slams it into one's side as another Runner comes to Nick's side as Nick aims the pipe forward as the Runner impales itself into the bite as it snaps and claws at Nick as the crowd was losing it as the Runner had the pipe through its head but was still attacking Nick for a few seconds before it's brain finally kicked off. 

Nick turns as the 3rs zombies tackles him and bites at his ear but Nick barely is able to move his head from its teeth. Nick pushes the zombie up with his knees and watched as the 1st Runner he knocked Way slides at him and crawls quickly as it snaps its jaws as it crawls closer to his torso, Nick quickly pushing the 3rd away with his legs Nick stands and backs away from the crawling Runner as Nick rears his leg up and timely slams his leg down and crushes the Runners head into pulp. Nick pants as he realizes how close that was but the 3rd Runner was recovered and grabs him again but Nick judo flips the zombies and kicks the zombie across its teeth as the Crowd cheers and watched anxiously as Nick grabs a piece of a loose gravel that was in the ground and bashes it into the Runners head repeatedly until the twitching zombies face is nothing but mush. 

Nick drops the rock and grabs the pipe out of the zombies skull as he turns to Anthony. 

Nick: I'm done playing your games. 

Anthony: So am I. 

Terry: Me too…

Anthony turns as Terry clubs his .357 across Two Soldiers faces before he turns and shoots one in the face that rushed him as he aims one at Anthony and the other he keeps moving as dozens of machine guns were now aiming at him.

Anthony: You're going to die here…

Terry: Yeah, but so will you...I'm a real can't miss at this range. 

Terry's pulls the hammers back as the  barrel was nowboressed against Anthony's skull. 

Terry: Let him out of there!

Anthony sneers but nods as he signals to some of the men who go and kick a ladder down as Nick quickly climbs up and drops down as half of the guns aim at him, Nick disarming a scared civilian who throws his hands up and backs away as Nick aims the M16 about as the Soldiers looked worried as Nick comes and grabs his gear and shirt as Terry and Anthony lock eyes. 

Anthony: How long do you give yourselves?

Terry: Long enough to regroup and get out of her scott free. 

Anthony: Yeah, we'll see about that. 

Nick comes over with his gear back in as he stands back to back with Terry.

Terry: You alright?

Nick: Yeah. 

Terry: Start heading to the door…

Nick does as Terry aims and keeps his gun aimed at Anthony as he follows, as the Soldiers move in and surround Anthony. 

Anthony: I'd start running…

Terry: You too

Terry fires but one of the Soldiers moves into the way and takes the bullet to the cranium as Anthony screams as the men run after the two getaways. 


Elsewhere


Shane sneaks by a few soldier's in guard as he checks about the area, Shane looking to see he was at a far south end area of the base, Shane checking the area as the tower post had a sniper. Shane makes note and turns to leave but stops as he notices a gated area a few meters away. 

Shane heads towards as he notices a guard walking by, Shane hiding as he scans about and sees five soldiers walking around a hangar where he can see a Jet plane. 

Shane: A G-5….I can fly that…

Shane raises an eyebrow and then backtracks the way he came as he sneaks off.

Mary awakens as she looks to see the jail cell doors, Mary grabbing her throat as she looks confused as she sees Makayla was sitting with her as Brianna leaned against the wall as Dustin was sitting in the corner. 

Mary: Where's…?

Brianna: Our prisoners? released more likely. 

Mary: Goddamnit…

Brianna: Oh yeah, it gets better. 

Mary looks to see Brianna staring a hole through the guard, who happened to be Adam.

Lance comes up to a building as he hides from a soldier who heads inside, Lance coming up to a window as he looks in to see a soldier pass a condom to another as Lance scans to see a few of the women are tied down to cots as a few were already being violated as Lance seed Amber at the far end as some of the men were deciding who were going to take who. One of the soldiers comes and strikes Amber twice before ripping at her shirt as Lance's face twists with rage.

The door to the room kicks in as Lance grabs the closest Soldier from behind and snaps his neck. Amber watches as her man looks up as two of the soldiers aim at Lance but Lance used the dead soldiers body as a shield as he raises his Red9 up and shoots twice, scoring a headshot to each one before he shoots the one by Amber multiple times, Lance turning as he executes the ones raping the other women before heading to Amber as she wipes the radial spray of blood from her attacker off of her. A soldier runs in and goes to Lance from behind but Amber shouted at him and stops him just enough for Lance to disarm the young soldier before the soldier hits Lance across his face and the flips him to the ground, Amber reaching over as she grabs the handgun from her attackers gun belt and enters the entire clip into the soldiers chest, neck and face. Lance gets to his feet as he quickly goes and undoes Amber leg bindings as she drops the gun. 

Lance: Where's the other girl? Lily, where is she?

Amber: Two of them grabbed her and took her into the back...heard her scream for a bit but it stopped…

Lance: Untie the rest of the girls and I'll

Amber: Look out!

Lance turns and fires from his Red9 twice hitting another soldier in the head twice as he drops dead as his gun was leveled and ready to blow Lance's head kff

Lance hurried and ran into the back area as Amber covers herself up and goes to help the other women.

Lance heads down the back of the building as he looks into the room at the end of the hallway and opens it, aiming around as he finds Lily in a chair, clothes by breathing shakkow as her face was covered in lacerations. 

Lance: Lily, look at me, are you okay?

Lily looks at him weakly as Lance looks at her with concern as he nods and forces a reassuring smile as he begins to untie her bindings. 

Lance: It's alright, I'm going to get you…

Lily: They...there were…

Lance hears a boot scuff the floor and he quickly turns and punches a soldier who was trying to get him from behind with a knife as as Lance pushes him against the wall as he slams his head into the wall before he tossed him over a table that had a tray full of torture tools. 

Lance grabs a scalpel and slams the soldiers head down again onto the floor before he stabs the scalpel into his temple. 

Lance stands, breathing heavy as he undoes the rest of Lily's bindings and helps her up to her feet as he leads her out of the room and into the main area where Amber was with the other girls who were now all armed with the dead soldiers machine guns and pistols. 

Lance: Let's go ladies, and stay close to me. 

Amber takes Lily and wraps her up with a hug as she and the other women follow Lance as he reloads both of his pistols and takes point.

DJ faces a soldier as he came inside hurriedly. 

Soldier: Sir, there seems to be a problem…

Kris stands in the middle of the base, surrounded by Rebecca, Miles, Lyndsey, Terry and a pissed off Nick. 

Surrounding them is Anthony and dozens of Zero Company soldiers with their guns on them as bystander's and civilians were watching confused as DJ comes out of the building lobby doors as Cayce was behind him flanked by Finch and Hockmeyer.

DJ: What's the meaning of this?!

Kris: Doings by your own accord.

DJ: Do you see my numbers?

Kris: Do you see mine?

DJ notices as civilian's were now aiming at them as the women who had been taken and attacked, Amber, Lily and Lance walked up as word had already fast about what was happening. DJ balls his fist as his soldiers looked around horrified at their predicament. 

Kris: When your forces are mostly civilian's, it tends to lower your reach and even the numbers out. 

DJ: How did you…

Lance: Wouldn't think men wouldn't notice their wives, sisters, girlfriends going missing, or are your men just that damn stupid. 

DJ sneers at him as he nods. 

DJ: I see…

Finch comes over to him as DJ comes and pays Anthony on the shoulder. 

DJ: So...what happens now?

Kris: We could have a shoot out, see how many of us survive. Or. We could settle this another way, because regardless, in the end, we need each other. 

DJ: You really think that?

Kris: we need the numbers, no reason we can't resolve this without more bloodshed. There's a massive horde out there and they don't care whether we're fighting or not. 

DJ: Zero Company doesn't need you. 

Kris: I beg the djffer. 

DJ not iced the company's number are being turned on their head as soldiers who had come from civilian life were breaking rank and turning on the loyalist. 

DJ: You bastard…

Terry: You brought this upon yourself. Most a civilian company now, you let us know we had the advantage without even knowing you did it. 

Kris: That threat out there is still coming, we won't make it to the morning unless we put this bed, right here and now. 

DJ: What are you suggesting?

Kris: These people, these soldiers need to know whose in charge. 

DJ: You or Me, correct?

Kris: precisely. 

DJ: Then lets settle it, mercenary rules. Your best against my best one on one fight to the death. Winning man's commander is in charge. And when I win, I'm going to kill all of you who have stood here and opposed me!

Kris: Fair enough. When I win, you'll fall in line and when and if you do step out of that line, I'll execute you happily. 

DJ: Fine by me. No guns. Knives and blades are allowed.

DJ turns and and talks to his group as Kris does the same. 

Kris: (looking at Lance) you up for it?

Lance: But of course, this is how we settle everything back home. 

Nick: Sir, I can do this. 

Miles: Me too.

Lyndsey: Miles…

Miles: I'll be fine. 

Kris: No, Miles I know he'll pick Hockmeyer. 

Nick: Why? Anthony is his right hand and. 

Kris: Exactly, he won't want to lose his nest man.

Terry: Then you shouldn't lose yours either. Let me. 

Lance: You sure, cowboy?

Kris: You have to have win. 

Terry: Killing that asshole will be my absolute honor. 

DJ points at Hockmeyer

DJ: You can make up for all of your failings right here and now. Do not fail Zero Company again. 

Hockmeyer: I won't…

Anthony: Sir, I can whip any of their asses…

DJ: I need you by my side. I can't risk it. 

Hockmeyer: Sir, I've got this. 

Terry takes off his gun belt and hands it to Lance as Hockmeyer hands Finch his machine gun as Rebecca nods at Terry who smiles back as everyone began to ebckose around the two as Terry and Hockmeyer and face off. 

Hockmeyer: How fun, I get to kill the podunk cowboy. How lucky.

Terry: Let's see how long your luck lasts, cuz I think it's run out. 

Hockmeyer charges him as Terry punches at him, but Hockmeyer moved aside and knees up, hitting Terry in the stomach as he then slams his elbow into the back of Terry's neck as Terry bent over and reeled as Kris shakes his head as Anthony cheers for Hockmeyer as he kicks down and hits Terry in the chest but as he kicked again Terry rolls away and quickly stands as Hockmeyer throws a punch that Terry dodges and is able to deliver a straight blow to Hockmeyers face.

Finch: Get him, Hock!

Amber: Kill that piece of shit, Terry 

Terry uppercuts Hockmeyer across his chin as he staggers back but rebounds as he blocks Terry's next punch and uses his training to take Terry down again, Terry hitting hard as he groans as Hockmeyer puts Terry in an arm bar. Terry quickly grabs a handful of dirt with his free hand and throws it into Hockmeyer's eyes, Hockmeyer letting the arm go as he wipes at his eyes and yelps in pain as Terry stands and kicks Hockmeyer across the head. 

Terry pulls a blade out from his hip and stabs it down at Hockmeyer but he rolled out of the way and kicks up with his left leg as he hits Terry's hand hard which make him drop the knife. 

Hockmeyer grabs it and is able to get Terry down as he begins to press the knife down towards Terry's chest as Terry grabs his wrist and fights it off as Hockmeyer uses his weight to bring the knife slowly down.

Lance: Come on Terry!

Anthony: Kill him! Hurry up!

Terry struggles as he can't keep Hockmeyer's hand from going down as the tip touches at his shirt. 

Hockmeyer: Any last words, cowboy!?

Terry: Yeah…

The flush faced Terry let's go with his right arm and holds it near Hockmeyer's throat as from out of his sleeve, the spring loaded hidden blade that Rebecca uses comes out and jams into Hockmeyer's throat.

Terry: See you in hell, asshole…

Terry swipes his arm to the right and lacerated Hockmeyer's throat open as Hockmeyer grabs at his throat and falls over as he begins gagging as blood pours out between his fingers as he struggles for breath and reaches out towards DJ who looks disgusted as everyone was hushed as Terry stands and retracts the blade as Hockmeyer takes his last gasp and breath as a gurgle escalest his mouth and he goes lifeless.
