On the streets of the market of Dragnof´s capital, Aversia and Zeldairs were looking at the different wares that were sold there. It ranged from exotic fruits, to carpets, to weapons and armor. 
They didn´t have many chances to come to this place, since they didn't have much free time and in their free time were they most of the time playing with other children, watched Vulcan at his work or were shown many places or things by either Challot, Emrissen, Irene or Belserian.
But, the two of them still loved the market the most, because of the different things that were sold here and that there was always something new to see.
Challot, Emrissen and Vulcan followed the two half dragons from behind and were watching the two as they were looking at ethery thing that was displayed at the stalls.
Aversia was interested at the weapons, armors and accessories made from metals.
She was really interested in her father´s work and forging in general.
Zeldaris was also interested at the weapons and armors, but not as much as Aversia and was more interested at the different kind´s of food and magical objects.
He found the art of enchanting and Irene´s and Vulcan´s art of enchantment very interesting and even more by Vulcan´s try of combining forging and enchantment.
Both also had a love for books, they read almost every day and about almost everything.
Of course, Challot and Emrissen made sure that the two wouldn´t get their hand on mature books.
They continued like this, until they were at the last and most important stall, were books were sold.
The merchant at the stall was an old man, who was always smoking on a pipe.
"Ah, if it isn´t the two half dragons. How can I help you today?" asked the old man as he saw the two.
"Old man do you have anything new?" asked Zeldaris.
"Or something you would recommend?" asked Aversia.
"Let me think, I believe there was something interesting in the new books."
He looked trough the piles of books.
"There they are. I have two books that should be interesting for you. The first is an encyclopedia about humanoid races and the second is about celestial magic."
Both Aversia and Zeldaris were immediately interested and looked at their parents with puppy eyes, who all had a wry smile on their face.
Vulcan paid for the books, but didn't gave Aversia and Zeldaris the books, because he noticed that the two exhaled warm air.
He turned around and looked at Challot and Emrissen, who in turn looked very concerned because they knew what this meant and that this was really the worst timing possible.
The two half dragons didn´t notice anything strange, except that is got a little hot, but were more concerned that Vulcan didn´t gave them their books.
The two dragons quickly grabbed their children, used their magic to form their wings and flew of with the two half dragons, who were to surprised at their mother´s actions to react.
And a few seconds later came a two-meter-long grey flame out of both half dragons' mouth.
The surprised merchant looked at Vulcan and asked, "What was that?"
Vulcan, who looked at the fast disappearing Challot and Emrissen said, "A close call and really bad timing."
"For what?"
"They are developing their dragon´s breath and as far as I know dragons can´t control their breaths at the beginning and become walking flamethrowers who spew constantly fire and burn down everything in their vicinity."
The old merchant and Vulcan imagine what would have happened if Challot and Emrissen hadn´t reacted so fast.
The whole market area and a good part of the city would have been burned down.
And imagine this image, both were sweating bullets.
In the meantime, Challot and Emrissen arrived at one of the castles courtyards with the two flamethrowers, who in turn where overwhelmed by everything that happened.
The dragons were sighing in relief, made their wings disappear and sat down on a nearby bench and watched as Aversia and Zeldaris were continuing to spew flames, with a nostalgic look on their faces.
A few moments later and the two half dragons were finally able to work through everything that happened and realized that they were spewing flames from their mouths.
Initially overjoyed that they finally developed their dragon´s breath, but they soon realized that they couldn´t stop and started to panic.
"Don't worry, your body´s need to adjust to your breath and you will be able to stop spewing flames. Although that may take a while. For example, Challot needed one hours before being able to stop and mine was one and a half hours. So good luck and hopefully your jaws won´t hurt too much."
Both Challot and Emrissen started to laugh and thought back to the time of their first-time breathing fire and their parents laughing at them.
Although they were concerned over the grey flames that the two were breathing.
They felt ancient and felt as if they had no element, but at the same time had.
Was this magic at in its purest form and if so why were Aversia and Zeldaris able to wield it?
Questions upon questions were filling their heads, to which they knew none of the answers, but they were pulled out of their thoughts as they felt someone approaching.
It was Irene and Belserion and as they saw the situation the two half dragons were in and laughed.
"Ah, I can finally understand why parents find it so funny when their children develop their dragon´s breath."
"I was always wondering how it looks like when a dragon develops their dragon´s breath. But isn't it a little too small?"
"Well, they are only half dragons and most of their power´s are sealed, so I am not surprised that their flames are so small. But I have to say that I was worried, those two are after all their children and I feared that they would burn down half the city."
"Really, how big are the flames normally for the first time?"
"About 10 Meters for a normal dragon."
Belserion looked at Challot and Emrissen who were discussing something and continued," When it comes to stronger dragons, like those two monsters, I can´t say for certain."
"They are late bloomers and are going to surpass you and who are you calling monster?" yelled Emrissen.
"Since when is the length of the flame important and why are you concerned about it. Also, for us normal dragons are you two monsters."
And just after he finished, he was hit by Emrissen´s fist and was lying on the floor.
"Just because we were from birth stronger, doesn´t make us monsters and even if we are, you haven't seen the true monsters of the dragon race."
(He really needs to watch his words around those two)
Vulcan arrived after about 30 minutes and smiled wryly at what he saw.
Challot and Emrissen were grilling some food with Aversia´s and Zeldaris´s flame, Irene was mending Belserion, who was lying on the floor, with a fist mark on his head.
(He really needs to watch his language around them.)
"So, they are still at it, by the way can´t they just close their mouths to stop breathing fire."
 When Aversia and Zeldaris heard this, they rolled with their eyes as to say, "Thank you, captain obvious".
 "Thank you, captain, obvious, but it is not so easy, because if they do, the fire will go another route and that is to the most part unpleasant and most importantly if they did, we wouldn´t be able to grill right now." Said Challot holding a grilled fish.
"You two really are sometimes too much, you know that?"
"Isn´t it part of why you are together with Emrissen. Oh, and could you do as a favor and bring two vases with water. I think they are almost finished."
Surprised, Vulcan looked closer at the flames and indeed, they were getting weaker.
Vulcan ran of in order to find some water, while the two half dragons grew exited that it was almost over.
Five minutes later and Vulcan brought two huge vases and placed them besides the two.
The flames were almost out, and smoke began to come out of their mouths.
The second the flames were completely out, drank the two half dragons the water in the vases and drank almost all the water in them.
Steam came out of their mouths the moment they finished drinking and they started to massage their jaws.
"Congratulations you have successfully developed your dragon´s breath and took a very important step. Now go on, show us what you can do." Said Challot.
Aversia and Zeldaris continued to massage their jaw for a minute.
After their jaws didn´t hurt so much anymore, did they strongly breath in and breath out and breathed out a four-meter long grey flame.
This time the flame was much stronger and more brilliant.
"So, they finally show their strength."
"What did you expect Emrissen, they are our children."

I suck at writting a synopsis, so I am going to explain the premis of the story.
The story has two Mc´s Zeldaris and Aversia, both of them are half dragons and are born a few years before the dragon king festival and the creation of the dragon slayers.
They will travel with Natsu and the other dragon slayers into the future and will also join Fairy Tail.
This is my first time writing, so iwould appriciate if you could point out my mistakes.
Updates will be 1 chapter a week.

Part 1 – Island of Dolls

"AAAAYYYY MMMIIISSSS HHHIIIJJJOOSSS" The woman begins to walk with two children. She turns right and walks down the tree.

"Where is she going?" Majorie asks Bella. Bella turns around with a serious face and says:

"Why don´t you follow her silently she will not notice."

Uriel and Marjorie begin follow her to see what´s going on. The two of them see how the ghost stops in a tree. The ghost hugs the pair of children, a boy and a girl. The ghost chants in ancient Aztec: "Separacion de Almas" (Separation of Souls)

Soon light begins to shine in the children´s chest. The light begins to come out of the souls and form small spheres. The two children pass out. Marjorie covers her mouth with fear and tries to walk forward. Uriel grabs Marjorie holding her and grabbing her mouth whispering:

"Please don´t move, I know it hurts but trust me I will save them."

The ghost puts the souls in two different dolls hanging in the trees. The bodies of the children turn into ashes. Marjorie begins to cry, the two dolls begin to move their heads. The ghost then says: "Descansen niños" ( Rest my children). She begins to cry once more and walks slowly screaming:

"AAAAAYYYYY MMMMIIIISSS HHHHHIIIJJJJOOOOSSSSS"

After she disappears Uriel and Marjorie lean back breathing heavily. Bella appears in front of them and says:

"Now you see, what´s happening, that ghost is La Llorona!"

Uriel and Marjorie put a frightened face. Uriel replies: "The weeping lady?"

"Yes the famous ghost you probably heard about from your parents or some other adults" Bella says as she grabs a doll of tree, she continues to explain:

"This doll is the soul of a lost child, La Llorona walks around the area grabbing children who she feels are suffering and takes them hear. She separates their souls and puts them in dolls so they could be safe"

"But why does she do that?" Marjorie asks with a shaky voice.

"She is searching for her lost children. Nobody knows about her, but the legend says her children lost their lives due to a fire however some say she drown them. The reason is unknown but this spirit has been lurking for centuries in search of her children." Bella says causing Uriel to feel fear, she continues to explain:

"She thinks she is doing well but you can see them do you, Uriel?"

Uriel looks around and sees the souls of the children who are playing in the trees. They are glowing white with white dresses for the girls or shirts and pants for the boys. He makes a fist and says:

"This is not good, they should not be here, they need to find peace."

"But why muchaho, they look happy don´t they?" Bella says testing him.

Uriel stands up and replies: "They are not free, they are trapped they need to move on, I promise I will know why she does that and help her."

Marjorie stands and grabs his hand saying: "I will help you as well Uriel."

"Ahh young love hahaaha" Bella says as she grabs her cat, she continues to speak:

"La Llorona will return in one hour so you can speak to her. Meanwhile let´s go eat something, I bet you are hungry."

(GGGRRROOOWWLLL)

The two of them have red faces as their stomach growls and both of them say: "YES PLEASE."

Part 2 - At the Hotel.

Katsumi and Johanna found Victoria, Angela and Raul unconscious in a tree close to the road. Currently they are in a Katsumi´s room since no one had any injuries. Katsumi is looking after them. Katsumi is in the other room taking care of Alejandro and Xochitl who both had serious injuries. However the other seven students and the Doctors are still missing.

(KNOCK, KNOCK)

"I´m coming in" Katsumi says as she enters the room, seeing Johanna sleeping.

(BOOOOMM)

Katsumi hits Johanna waking her up. "OUCH!!" Johanna says to Katsumi. She smiles and says to Johanna:

"You are supposed to look after them not to sleep!!!"

Xochitl wakes up and begins to cry as she looks at the environment.

"Are you alright?" Katsumi asks but Xochitl answers in ancient Aztec.

Johanna clueless replies: "What did she say?"

"Wait I got something that could help us" Katsumi replies as she takes out a sphere and throws it in the ground. The ball opens up releasing a green light.

"There, now once again,are you okay?" Katsumi says to Xochitl who replies:

"I-I-I´m okay but where is my brother?"

"This is awesome; your organization is really something." Johanna says with stars in her eyes.

"We don't know were your brother is, I'm sorry" Katsumi replies to Xochitl.

"Well I know where he is at." Xochitl says.

(GGRRROOOOWWWWLLL)

Xochitl stomach growls, Katsumi gives her a plate of rice with meat. Xochitl begins to cry and says: "Thank you it looks delicious" She begins to eat as she cries.

"We can help you, so don't worry about it. Now tell us what's going on and your story?"

Katsumi says to Xochitl, Xochitl finishes eating and says:

"Very well, I will tell you part of my past"

Cael was disappointed to see that the girl was uninterested in the story even if it is free. 

He stood up and was about to walk when all the kids who were playing at the side approached him.

Cael also panicked. There's no way he would let go of his new customers. He'll be giving his service for free but the people are adamant to reach him.

The boy was still adamant but chose to stay. The rest of the children were not afraid since the brother was a weakling. 

"Brother! Brother! Can I punch you?" A boy around 3 years old (6 years old) was jumping and raising his hand. He looked neatest than most of the children around him. 

Cael awkwardly chuckled. A boy knows how to assault people in broad daylight! 

He looked at the expecting faces of the children who were also preparing their fists. 

'Looks like it wouldn't hurt at all. Just those little hands...' He thought and nodded. 

"Me first! Me first!"

"I was the one who asked!"

The boy who misunderstood Cael and the boy who asked were quarreling with each other, unable to notice that someone was about to hit Cael's butt.

As the first was already occupied, the children also hit Cael in different parts of his body. Some even abuse the free beat up and hit the big brother three to five times before getting satisfied.

He didn't feel the pain when those kids hit every part of his body except one. Their punches felt like a soft touch in his body, that's all.

Cael shook her head vigorously and nervously chuckled, "I'm fine. Let's start now."

He limped when he walked. He only took four steps and plummeted on the nearby bench.

"Ugh,  so tiring." He murmured. 

"There was a dog walking at the market full of meat and bones. Because of hunger, the dog stole a large bone and ran as fast as he could. When he was far from the market, he slowed down and entered the forest..."

The children listened attentively until the story ended. Cael was expecting to see them pity the dog as it fell into the river because of his greediness. 

However…

"Mother taught me not to steal, I must not do it so I won't fall into the river," Kilo said thoughtfully, considering the events in the story in his heart. 

"Big brother, I think you really don't need people to pay you when telling us this." Sonya, the little girl, suggested. She stood up and dusted off the dirt from her "dress". 

Cael didn't expect to hear that from a child. He was curious as to why it won't sell as the girl has meant. Thus, she ruffled the girl's hair and inquired more about it. "Why is it?"

"We could tell our parents about what you said and it will spread around the whole kingdom. And no one has enough money to buy a story from you. Also, our parents are too busy to give time for leisure." Sonya explained, looking at the distant sky. 

She was already independent and mature for a seven-year-old girl. 

"My father is always away from home!" Gabriel raised his hand and shared his situation with everyone. He was wearing an innocent smile like he's already used to it. 

Cael creased his forehead, what type of world is this? Seeing how all the people from the outskirts happily do their things full of hopes made Cael confused. 

Does he need to learn the truth from the mouth of the children? When will the elderlies tell him the truth? He's already old enough to learn things. 

"Do you know where your parents are?" 

Kilo raised both of his hands. His eyes sparkled and immediately answered. "My mother and sister were also away. Father was taking care of me."

"My aunt was the one who was away. I'm living with my aunt‛s son "

Hearing their circumstances, Cael fell into deep thought.

"Should we find a way to know your guardian's whereabouts?" He unconsciously murmured his thoughts.

The children's eyes brightened and looked at Cael with hopeful eyes. They approached him nearer which made the daze Cael snapped out. 

"Give distance!" 

He ordered but the kids heard as if their big brother was joking. Well, his face does look hilarious. 

"I'm already done telling you the story, go home now." Cael stood up and turned around. He has no heart for children. He was more concerned for himself and how he would survive in this peculiar world. 

There's also one thing that he needs to resolve in a small amount of time. Marriage. He was not ready to become a sugar baby in this world.

"I need to start something first." He affirmed after a few considerations. 

He then walked towards the nearby stalls in the plaza.

In the early hours of daybreak, Xander and Earnest had received a "gift" from Irving. For reasons not being explained, Irving had texted Earnest to bring himself and Xander down to wait in the lobby and wait until Irving's arrival.
Apparently, that arrival, was a whole party and not just one man.

Six other children accompanied Irving. Six children, with skinny figures. There were three girls and three boys, all too young to be in the state they were in.

Earnest frowned at them, but immediately walked up to them, with caution.
As he neared the children, they tightened their grip on each other, fingers linked like an unbreakable chain. A chain they were clearly set on keeping unbreakable.

Earnest knelt down on one knee, giving them a small smile to show that he meant no harm. The small gesture however, meant the world to the children, whether they showed it or not.

"I'm sure it's scary, being on your own. But I hope that you'll all come to trust us enough to let us take care of you." Earnest spoke in a soft voice, with the look of fondness an older sibling would give to his little brothers and sisters.

The child in the middle of the chain, a girl about the age of ten, chuckled softly. Earnest's eyes widened when he saw a single tear flow down her pale face.
Due to her living conditions, the little girl's hair was quite dirty and disheveled. Her bangs had grown quite a bit, covering her eyes.

But she unlinked her fingers with the boy next to her, using her free hand to lift up her bangs and smile at Earnest.

"Please take care of us!"

Her smile was one of deep appreciation, maybe even relief. Needless to say, Earnest could tell that she was grateful, and that was all he needed to know.
Earnest gestured for the children to follow him, and with a second of hesitation, the herd followed. With the seven leaving the room, that only left Xander and Irving in the silent lobby. However, the atmosphere around them seemed strangely...tense.
Xander, was the first to break the silence, "Irving, don't you think that bringing in orphans at this time is a little...foolish?" He said, arms crossed with a somewhat smug look on his face.
Irving decided to sit down on the couch in the lobby, resting his jaw against his knuckles, "What's foolish about it, Cullman?" Irving grinned, looking smug while Xander scoffed.
"If you haven't already forgotten, this city is about to be involved in a war of mass destruction. There is little chance that any building of City S. will still be standing within the first few minutes of Levienne Clyde's arrival. There is no point in-"
"No point?" Irving interrupted, wearing a face of clear annoyance mixed with utter disbelief.
"Whether this city floods, burns, or is left to dust, isn't it currently our job to save the people anyway?" Irving said in a slightly annoyed way. As subtle as that tone of his might have been, Xander noticed it and scoffed once more, getting the feeling he was talking with a child.
Irving took the silence as a chance to add on, "If I am right, then why worry? If we are attacked at this very moment, or in exactly twenty-four hours, they deserve to at least, have the luxury of feeling safe." Irving finished, slight heat building up in his chest. Nevertheless, he was doing his best to avoid whatever yells or sudden lashing out that he could, knowing he would only tire himself out from doing so.
Instead, Irving decided to leave the conversation at that, heading towards the glass doors to the bright city outside. In silence with a much more relaxed atmosphere, coincidentally when Irving was leaving, Xander turned on his heel to head to the basement.

Xander had noticed that the reports of subject 016 were stacking up. But even with so much information, 016 had been less..."productive". "What happened? Sarah who was waiting for him in kitchen questioned. "I think he will try all liquid things on that bacteria and record the reaction. While in the lab, Tom put the slide of bacteria under the microscope and then set the lenses. Then he starts examining. It was star-shaped bacteria with large cells. Its colour was red. Tom decided to test every liquid on poor bacteria. First of all he tries simple filtered water. Bacteria sock all water. When he tried tap water. The bacteria turned yellow. Then he tried juice. Bacteria s' color changed with every juice colour. He also tried different salts but salts didn't have any effect on him. Tom was feeling relaxed as he found something to do and that will also fix his curiosity. Tom put that bacteria on plant leaf and saw that the plant s' color changed. Tom then tried different semi-liquids.Some liquids made the bacteria expand and some made made him contract. But when he mixed semi-liquids with different salts and put that bacteria on plant. Plant started growing amazing flowers. Tom was very happy to see that.He decided to show this to his dad. He knew that he will be very happy. Tom took that plant to Norm and Sarah. Sarah and Norm were amazed at that discovery.

" Mommy where are we going? Tom asked as he was going with his mom. Sarah told him " we are going to a place where you can help the people. But you have to found that who is rightful or not". Tom nodded in yes. When he reached there he saw that it was a large building. The building had a large garden. There were many men, women, and children in the garden. "Where we are mom? Tom was surprised at that sight that many of the people had torn clothes and many of them were holding their tummies as they were very hungry. " Dear we are in an refugee camp" Sarah told him. But Tom was still questioning " what is that?. "Dear in a refugee camp those people live who doesn't have any home or migrated from their countries. But many people join that camp just for free food. You have to help me to find that cheap people" Sarah told him. He nodded in yes. He knows that what he have to do.

17 who saw his father preset inside the cave he just made along with them and holding a bottle of water for him, gulped his saliva and slowly moved his hand forward to receive the bottle.

The other children who saw him moving his hand widened their eyes in surprise and started getting a bit pissed at him thinking that 17 was now going to betray them.

But contrary to their thoughts, as soon as 17 took the bottle in his hands the ground below Antonio shined brightly and immediately a huge pillar made of earth was formed which sent Antonio high up in the sky.

"RUN!!!"

17 shouted and immediately opened the entrance of the cave and made a ramp for them to climb out of the hole they were in to run away from their.

The other children also didn't think twice about it and ran away, though this time none of them cared for taking the hero with them and the hero who was surprised from the sudden turn of events, when saw that he was being left behind by the children started following them as well with all his might.

50 who got pissed by the what the hero was saying snapped at him while continued to run away.

The children and the hero then noticed a group of people who was much bigger than the ones who were following them earlier blocking their path and frowned on seeing them.

But none of them even thought about stopping except for the hero who wanted to change his path to run in a different direction, but stopped once he noticed that none of the children were intending to stop.

17 and 50 once again came forward and were clad in their respective auras.

The other children as well took out their weapons and prepared their quirks to attack them.

"35!!!"

"No one invisible detected. FUCK THEM UP!!!"

All the children nodded their heads and both 50 and 17 stopped on their paths and started charging huge amounts of heat energy in their hands.

The other children overtook them with 21 and 28 in the front and 35 and 6 behind them.

Once they got close enough 28 immediately activated his quirk and punched the nearest person, who was blocking his path without holding back sending him flying along with a few other of them.

21 got up in the air firing his aqua jets on the ground and then fired a very fine but highly pressurised aqua jet at his enemies causing severe injuries to most of them while also cutting off the limbs of few people whose skins were not that hard.

35 and 6 stayed back since their quirks were not suited for close combat and fired guns and threw their knives respectively, though 6 was also using her quirk to slash her targets by surprise.

The people who were blocking the path also fought back with the people excelling in physical strength taking lead and tanking both the front liners, while the long ranged quirk users were firing their quirks at the remaining people.

17 and 50 who were done charging to their max capacity looked at each other and nodded their heads and shouted simultaneously, "GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!!"

The area around the two of them started heating up rapidly and the ground near them started melting as well. The hero who was standing near them and firing at the enemies also took some distance from them and stared at the two children in amusement.

'The heat that these children are emitting is comparable to that of Endeavour!!!'

The other four children who heard them immediately jumped back with 35 grabbing 6's arm and running away and 21 using his water jet to get away from his opponents and giving a ride to 28 making a successful escape.

Once 17 & 50 made sure that all of them were out of the way, they immediately gathered all the energy that they had stored in one point causing their hands getting charred by the heat. Both of them winced in pain but didn't stop gathering the energy.

"BURN AWAY YOU ASSHOLES!!!!"

Both of them then fired the combined energy of the two forward which immediately rushed towards their enemies I. the forme of a huge and wide energy ball, leaving no chance for them dodge the attack.

"AHHHH!!!! ITS HOT!!! ITS HOT!!! ITS HOT!!!"

"AGHHHHH!!! WHY DOES MY ROCK LIKE SKIN BURING!!!

"ANYBODY!!! ANYBODY WITH A WATER OR ICE BASED QUIRK!!!! HELP!!! PUT THIS SHIT OFF!!!"

"IT'S NO USE, THEY ARE GETTING EVAPORATED INSTANTLY!!!"

"UGHHH.....GET THAG TRASHCAN HERE!!! HIDE BEHIND HIM!!!"

But before they were able to bring the person who was able to swallow up the attack, the ground below them glowed a bit and in the next instant all of them got stuck inside walls made up of earth.

17 who used his customize create to hold them off Immediately rushed towards 21 who poured some cold water on both 17 and 50 and once again all of them started running away without looking at the people who were stuck in some walls and were being burnt alive.

The hero who saw that scene in front of him was not able to decided whether what the children were doing was right or wrong, and was having conflicted emotions inside him.

17 and the others, not giving any shit about his thoughts continued to run away, but in the next instant all of them were tied  and hung up in mid air by red gooey tentacles.

"That was very bad of you, 'son'. Looks like I need to discipline you again once we get back home."

17 and then others looked in the direction from where the voice just came with shock evident in their eyes as they saw Antonio in his semi-gooey form.

"PUT US DOWN YOU BAST-"

6 tried to struggle and curse Antonio but before she was able to finish Antonio brought her closer to him and crushed her head in his hand with a 'smile' on his face.

"I never really like her voice to be honest." and then absorbed her body with his quirk.

All of them were staring at Antonio with eyes willed with fear and shock seeing which Antonio's smile just widened a bit more.

50, who was glaring at him for killing 6 had his body covered in a deep red aura which immediately burned away the tentacle along with his skin which has started to turn brown.

"HOW DARE YOU KILL HER!!!" and rushed towards him with blind rage.

"STOP IT!!! FREE US FIRST YOU BASTARD!!! LIKE HELL YOU CAN DEAL WITH HIM ALONE!!!"

"17 can you do the same as he did?"

"N-No, my heat resistance in not upto that extent and even he is totally charred by that move just now."

17 looked at 28 who was looking at him with a serious expression on his face.

Antonio who saw the rage filled child rushing towards him snorted and said, "Totally unsightly. Is that how you were taught back at the facility." and easily dodged the fist covered in intense heat. He then used one of his quirks to form a very fine jet of water from his middle finger tip and chopped off 50's arm without any hesitation.

Blood immediately spilled out once his arm got chopped off and fell on the ground. And 50 himself fell on the ground clutching  the hand which was bleeding and was wincing in pain.

Antonio sighed and said, "That was a very pathetic display there." and then moved his hand and placed it on top of 50's head and just like how he did with 6, crushed 50's head without hesitation and said, "But well, everything via pathetic in comparison to my OPness." and absorbed 50's motionless body.

A young man suddenly gets pulled in a void space, and after being there for a while meets a screen who gives him the chance to reincarnate into the last fictional world that he saw before coming there.

A deer was running through the woods at a very fast speed dodging arrows and jumping over fallen trees. 
A young man was pulling back an arrow, taking a deep breath before he released the arrow making it fly straight through the deers head, making it fall to the ground like a rock.

"Master, it seems you're getting rusty!" A young man yelled to the person jogging up behind him putting his hand on the young man's shoulder. 

"haha, I'm not getting rusty, it's you who is getting better William" said Einär as he was looking at William with proud eyes "I can still remember when you could bearly pull back an arrow, look at you now, talking back to your master, I think you require a punishment!"

"No! Master, please I was just joking" said William with pleading eyes toward Einär who was crouching down towards the deer.

"When we get home you will do 100 push-ups and carry 50 rocks back and forth the farmland" said Einär with a playful yet stern voice.

When they go back and William finished his assignment he went to rest in the animal house which has now become his home. 

William laid down in his makeshift haystack bed thinking about this pasted year and a half.
"I think I'm soon strong enough fend for myself, I am probably close to Drang rank when it comes to hunting and tracking, sadly I can not say the same about fighting and dueling experience" 

Enär had only taught William and two other slaves how to use the bow and how to hunt, tracking had William learned from the old man Igor that he met the first day.

Igor had become a slave when he was captured by a raiding party lead by a Huskarl.
Igor got caught whilst he was setting deer traps near his village.

Igors Village was Pillage and razed to nothing except some burnt houses and corpses. Igor's entire family was killed in the raid.

At first, Igor was very hostile towards everyone but later warmed up to the rest of the slaves acting like a grandpa taking care of his grandchildren.

He taught most of the slaves how to track animals as well as how and where to set traps. He also made sure that the slaves behaved and did not cause trouble for the others.

William had been listening and training diligently for the past year and a half making him fitter and healthier than most slaves.

"I have some news for you William" said Einär with an expression William never have seen before. 

"What's the news?" said William with a calm expression. 

"The Huskarl which is my higher command has agreed to my request of taking a slave with me on a raid" said Einär with a happy smile 

"What! Who are you going to pick" sad William even though he probably knew it was going to be himself.

"You of course, who else can I pick, but before you go and get ready I have more news that is even better for you"  Said Einär with an even bigger smile. 

"What is it?" said William with a questioning look.

Charlie gazed at the family pictures lovingly placed on the old beat-up wooden table in the family room of the farmhouse outside the city.  Among the framed photos there was a small red-haired girl being pulled on a sled, a smiling family of three cradling a new baby, a bride and groom in front of a castle, even some photos that included him, he was touched to see.  He gently caressed the table and considered its significance.  How Luke managed to get that table shipped from Sardinia is beyond me, he thought to himself.

Delicious dinner aromas emanated from the kitchen, as did the cheery sounds of small children chattering and playing.  He turned from the old table and headed in that direction.  Hey, Charlie, Bella smiled at him as he entered the kitchen.  Are you settled?

Im here for a night, what kind of settled do I need to be? he grumped, but he smiled as he did.

Dinner is almost ready, she said.  Were having baked ziti with salad and garlic bread.  Hope youre hungry.  Turning to the children, Yo, short people, all the toys go back in the playroom, STAT!  Rose and Nevin gathered up their things and trotted down the hallway, nearly bowling over their father.

Luke carefully sidestepped them as he went to Bella, planting a light kiss on her nose.  Hello, Mommy, he said.  Dinner smells amazing.

I cannot tell a lie, she laughed.  Mrs. Anderson left it in the fridge.  I just heated it in the oven.

I love it when you do that, he chuckled.  Do you need help?

Bella shook her head.  Nope.  You menfolk get yourselves seated at the table and Ill be right out with the grub.  Oh, if you wanted to get the kids to the table

Luke motioned to Charlie.  Come on, old man.  Us menfolk are going to sit down and let the little woman bring the grub.

By the time Bella brought the ziti to the table, Luke and Charlie were seated in their places as were the children.  Rose, at almost five, considered herself too big to sit in a booster seat, but on this she and her mother disagreed.  Nevin, at two and a half, had just made the transition from a highchair and so had a large plastic sheet placed below his chair.

Rose led the table in a brief grace and the food was passed.  Conversation was punctuated with laughter and interruptions from the children.  Charlie savored the liveliness of family mealtime.  He noticed that the third time Nevin dropped his spoon, Luke gently placed his hand over Bellas, getting up to retrieve the utensil himself.  He saw the grateful look she gave her husband, and the tender smile her returned to her.  This is good, he thought to himself.

Luke and Charlie made their way out onto the porch after dinner, relaxing in wicker porch chairs and puffing on their stogies.  Fireflies were beginning to twinkle in the summer evening and across the meadow a shy pair of deer gingerly entered the open space to graze on the tender grass.  Neither man remarked upon it, though they both noticed.  They were content to enjoy the night in silence.

Not silence, actually.  From within the house came the homey sounds of small children being bathed and dressed for bed.  They could hear Bella laughing and singing with them, three voices chatting about stuff and nonsense.  The quiet outdoor reverie was jarred by four tiny feet padding out to say goodnight.

Say goodnight to Daddy and Grandpa Charlie, Bella prompted.

Goodnight, Daddy!  Goodnight, Grandpa Charlie, Rose and Nevin chorused.  The children swarmed both men clumsily, all freshly washed hair and damp pajamas, proffering wet hugs and kisses.

Gnight, my little Rosey Posey!  Gnight, little man, Luke said.

I not little man.  I Nevin, the boy corrected.

Daddy knows that, Nevin, Rose replied, exasperated.

Goodnight, kiddos!  See you in the morning, Charlie said.

Youre gonna be here in the morning? Rose wondered, brown eyes all seriousness.

Is that okay with you? Charlie asked.

Rose considered thoughtfully for a moment.  Yes, she replied.  I like it when youre here.  And with that she turned and trotted into the house.

Gentlemen, as soon as the kids are in bed, I believe Ill take my own shower.  Ill just say goodnight now, Bella said.  She gave Charlie a peck on the cheek.  I like it when youre here, too.  She gave Luke a soft kiss on the lips and ran her hand across his shoulder before retreating into the house.  He read the signal there.

Luke breathed a contented sigh.  Charlie looked at him and winked.

From inside, they heard Bella singing a lullaby.  It was the childrens favorite, Sweet Baby James, though she always changed the name to Rose or Nevin.  Luke recalled the first time hed heard her sing: karaoke Joan Jett in a bar.  That seemed a lifetime ago.

Moments later, he heard her shower start.  That would take her about fifteen minutes, he figured.  Add maybe ten minutes more for girly puttering aroundHed give her half an hour before he followed her inside.

I like it when youre here, as well, old man, he said quietly.  He avoided looking at him, knowing Charlie was touched by his words.  You should consider living here permanently.  We made up that room especially for you.

You just want a free babysitter, Charlie gruffed, shaky voice betraying his emotion.

They sat in silence again for a while.

You have a good thing going here, Charlie observed.  Luke nodded in agreement and smiled.  You know, theres something I need to get off my chest before I kick the bucket, the older man continued.

Youre not kicking anything anytime soon, boss, Luke protested.

Nah, Im serious.  Theres something you need to know.

Luke turned to Charlie, frowning slightly.  Whats up?

Remember that first story you did for Two Streets Over?  When you went to Scotland?

Luke laughed lightly.  How could I forget?

I was the one who made hotel reservations for you.  I intentionally reserved one room, Charlie said, glancing sideways at Luke.

Luke laughed.  I knew it!  I knew you did that on purpose.  Bella was fit to be tied.  He shook his head remembering how mad shed been.

What you didnt know, smart ass, is that I also had to reserve eight more rooms to make sure that there wouldnt be any other rooms available, Charlie confessed.  He hooted with laughter as Luke gaped at him.

Son of a bitch, Luke swore softly, shaking his head in disbelief.

That was out of my own pocket, mind you.  Couldnt very well justify nine rooms on the expense report, could I?  Cost me a pretty penny, too, Charlie went on.  So this lovely evening is brought to you by yours truly.

But why? Luke wondered, befuddled by the idea of Charlie as matchmaker.

Because you needed someone.  A good woman to help you get your head out of your ass and start living the life you should have been living, Charlie said.

Son of a bitch, Luke repeated.
