Chief was a ordinary high school kid who's life goes completely sideways when a zombie apocalypses brakes out. Not only does he have to worry about this outbreak but he quickly finds himself in a underground fight club and more.

"I know where the art club is, but I cannot tell you the location now. How about this?" Chen Ge continued speaking after a short pause. "You join my club for now to fill up the members. If your performance is satisfactory, then I guarantee that I'll personally take you to the art club."
"Join your club first?" Zhou Tu looked at Zhang Ju next to Chen Ge. Honestly, the child really did look quite scary.
Is this some kind of test? he grumbled internally. He had asked a lot of them, and they either had not even heard of the art club or tried their best to change the topic. Only Chen Ge had given him a clear answer that the art club really did exist.
After giving it some thought, even though Zhou Tu thought that Chen Ge was a bit unconventional, he trusted that a teacher would not lie to a student, so in the end, he nodded. "Okay, I'll join. But Mr. Bai, what club is this?"
"Fill in the form first." After Zhou Tu filled in the form, Chen Ge said, "Our club is called supernatural phenomenon observation club. Its main objective is to study the supernatural events happening around the school."
Zhou Tu was baffled when he heard the introduction. He could barely believe that his school would even have a club like that. However, since it was managed by Mr. Bai, it had to have been officially approved by the school.
"There are too many people here. We'll find a quieter place to talk." Chen Ge led his two new members to leave the pavilion. Suddenly, an argument erupted in the middle of the pavilion. Many students stopped to see what it was. Even Chen Ge stopped moving.
"What happened?"
"Looks like someone wanted to join the street dance club but was rejected. Then they got into an argument."
"It's just a club. What's there to argue about?"
"Someone threw a punch! There's a fight!'
"Mr. Bai, should we go stop the fight?"
"This is so horrible that new students would act like this." Even though that was what he said, Chen Ge did not personally go to stop the fight. He was masquerading as Mr. Bai, and thus, he could not pull too much attention at this kind of public event.
After a while, both parties of the fight were pulled away. The female teacher that Chen Ge had seen in the office earlier came out. The teacher appeared like she had many things to do and was very busy. Therefore, without asking for an explanation, she lectured all the students that were involved in the fight. After the students dispersed, the teacher with the explosive temper also left. She returned to the office, continuing her work.
"The teachers at this school seem to have lost some of their memory as well. That is different from the teachers on the eastern campus." Chen Ge did not want to find trouble, but trouble liked to seek him out. The student who had gotten into a fight with the members of the dance club shuffled Chen Ge's way while holding his arm. It was unclear whether he was not looking ahead or some other reason, but he tripped when he was going up the stairs and happened to fell next to Chen Ge.
"F*ck! Even the stairs are bullying me today! Why is everyone bullying me‽" he yelled. His eyes were red as he tried to force himself to get up.
"Are you alright?" Chen Ge studied this student. The young man had a refreshing look, not that old. His earlobes were punctured, and there was a large stain on his arm like a tattoo that had not been properly erased. The child had a rather special appearance. He was not dressed in any branded goods, but he was quite fashionable. He did not look like a student.
"I'm fine." The male glanced at Chen Ge. The teacher before him was the first who had shown him any care.
"You were the one who threw the first punch during the fight with the members of the dance club, right?"
"What if that's true? Are you going to punish me?" The gaze that the student gave Chen Ge became unfriendly almost instantly.
"I merely wish to say that there are so many members from the dance club, and there is only one you. Why would you pick a fight with them? Couldn't you have talked it out? Such recklessness will only bring you harm." Chen Ge's voice was mature and calm just like a big brother.
Seeing that Chen Ge had no intention of scolding him but seemed to be concerned about him, the male student's voice softened, and he stopped being so aggressive. "Mainly, it's because they bullied me. Because of my appearance, the student responsible for the recruitment was purposely going against me. To join the club, I reached the limit of my patience, but in the end, they told me that the registration had already reached the limit and told me to join another club."
"If that's really the case, then you're not entirely in the wrong." Chen Ge signaled for the student to move to the side. "But why is it that you insist on joining the club? Do you like street dancing that much?"

"That's quite a backbone you have there. I find myself admiring you more and more." Chen Ge gave the student the form directly. "Your appearance is different from other students', which means that you must have a history that is different from them. Can you tell me your history?"
Chen Ge acted sincerely and spoke with a soft tone. This helped the student to walk out from his 'unapproachable exterior'.
"There's nothing to tell really. I haven't really met my parents before—it was my grandmother who raised me. She opened a small food cart selling dumplings inside an alley, and the two of us barely survived with that income. When I was young, I got mixed up with the ruffians running the alley. Smoking, drinking, stealing—I have done all that you can think of. It's fun.
"After mixing with them for a few years, one day, it started to rain heavily. I returned earlier to my grandmother's stall, and I saw the local police trying to take my grandmother's stall away. At the time, I lost it and got into a fight with them."
The student bit on his lips, and his expression was quite complicated. "Injuring them caused me to get sent to the youth penitentiary. When I came out, my grandmother hugged me and cried for a long time.
"Actually, there is nothing to be said. Later, I got back to school, and I managed to score high enough to get into this university."

The hearse with the weird odor slowed to a stop before the entrance. The sound of pebbles could be heard bouncing on the ceiling. There were footsteps coming from the corridor, and there seemed to be someone sawing next door. The door knob to the room rattled slightly, and the faucet in the bathroom kept dripping even though it had been screwed shut. There was a rubber ball that rolled on its own underneath the bed. Wet footsteps started to surface one after another on the floor. 
At 3 am, Chen Ge held a cleaver in his hand as he hid beside the room heater. The call he was trying to make was finally answered. "Landlord, is this what you meant by 'the house can be a little crowded at night'‽"

The people from the Sanda Martial Arts Club were clearly prepared, so unless Xiong Feng was willing to lose face and admit defeat, this battle would be otherwise inevitable.
Gao Ziyun waved his hand and vehemently said, "Xiong Feng, you are the vice president, and I am also the vice president. It'll be a fair fight between us. Unless you are a wuss?"

The boys coldly sneered, and they simultaneously advanced toward the group of Taekwondo Club members.
Xiong Feng's eyes burst into flames, and he angrily shouted, "Gao Ziyun, you're so shameless!"
Gao Ziyun indifferently said, "Well, you actually have more people than us. We haven't even said anything about that, so what are you shouting about? Stop caring about other people! Take care of yourself first, here I come!"
Just as Gao Ziyun finished his sentence, he rushed toward Xiong Feng, and the two quickly started fighting together. At the same time, the other Sanda Club members rushed forward.
These people were clearly the experts of Sanda Club, and they were obviously prepared. Although there were many Taekwondo Club members, most of them were novices with poor skills and experience. How could they fight against these Sanda Club members who were fierce like tigers?

Seeing that his members were all beaten down, Xiong Feng's eyes became red with fury. He was no match for Gao Ziyun in the first place, and with his being distracted Gao Ziyun seized the opportunity. A fierce sidekick slammed into Xiong Feng's abdomen.
Xiong Feng clutched his stomach in pain, his face turned pale, and his forehead was cold and sweaty. But Gao Ziyun did not let him go and rushed up again. With several consecutive knee hits, he broke through Xiong Feng's defense and slammed his knee hard on Xiong Feng's stomach.
Xiong Feng stumbled to the ground, his face full of agony. He knew that no matter what happens in the future, the Taekwondo Club of today had been thoroughly humiliated.
Gao Ziyun turned around exuberantly, looked at Sun Xiaodong who was still resisting, and frowned. "Red-black belt huh? An unfamiliar face. New member?"
Gao Ziyun walked toward Sun Xiaodong and laughed. "Boy, you look skilled. Come here, let me have a go with you."
The young man who was holding back Sun Xiaodong backed away a few steps and said to Gao Ziyun, "This kid is very powerful."
Gao Ziyun smiled and said, "Boy, you're a freshman, aren't you? How about coming to the Sanda Club? Seeing that you're skilled, I'll recommend you to the president and give you the position of vice president. How about that?"
Sun Xiaodong snorted, "There is no common ground for understanding between people of differing principles!"
Gao Ziyun raised his eyebrows. "Oh-ho? You're talking back? Alright then, since you don't want to be a friend, then you're an enemy, so don't blame me!"
Sun Xiaodong readied his posture and roared, "Come on!"
At the side, He Tianfeng looked nervous. "Boss, Third Brother is going to get beaten. Are we still going to watch them like this?"
Qin Yang's expression remained calm. "Third Brother is a member of the Taekwondo Club, so he must fight for the club. Even if he might lose, he must still go on."

Sun Xiaodong gritted his teeth, and his eyes were red with fury. But it was true that he couldn't beat them.
The winner becomes the king, and the loser becomes the bandit!
At the side of the court, He Tianfeng had already exploded with anger. "Damn you, this is too much. It's fine if you win, but do you have to record a video and humiliate Third Brother like this? Boss, are you going?"

"I'll show you, buff guy." Rewen snorted at the middle-aged short-haired rough-looking man and went to sit down at a bench. 

'So the base requirement for entering the Club is performing well in this Club fight. Fair enough. They shouldn't take much time to wipe out but I'm positive that even though I can't estimate their strength, they shouldn't be stronger than Rank 1. With my [Freestyle Knights Combat] technique, it would make things easier but I'm not sure if I should show everything off. No. I definitely can't show off.

'I have to fulfill the criteria of performing well using my stats and martial arts. Although that would still be surprising, it won't be shocking.'

The reason he is trying to join the Club is not on a whim or "Who cares, I'll join". He had an actual reason for doing so. The Grand Ultine Kapile Club is, like the jumper guy said, the most influential Club in the Travil Town. The reason being, it is closely connected to the State Government. Rewen boldly wanted to be under the influence of the government, even wanted to become a government official if the opportunity presented itself. 

'I couldn't be sure what she would do. I don't want to blindly believe in the law and order and leave everything to them.' Hardening his resolve, he stretched his arms and got up. "Looks like both the sides have already arrived." He muttered then moved forward to see what's cooking.

"How are we going to start this?"

"Send one from your side and we'll send one from ours."

"Good! Haha! A long battle must have a slow start. You! Yes, you. You are going first. We have already selected our one. What about yours, Damien?" The Leader of the newbie Club sent out a man from his side.

Damien, the selected Leader of the Club Fight from the side of the Grand Ultine Kapile Club was wondering who to choose from when he heard a young voice. "Big guy! Choose me!" It was Rewen raising his hand.
This would have originally been a knee-slapping funny incident but nobody laughed. Damien eyed him from top to bottom and asked in a deep voice. "Are you sure?"

"You are going then."

Rewen smiled confidently and walked to him with long strides. 

"He will be your opponent. Don't worry about getting in the hospital." Damien patted on his back while Rewen looked at his opponent. He was a similar giant. In fact, everyone here was similar in physique and size except for him.

"Come here, little guy. I won't hit yo- urkkukk!" As he was speaking, Rewen showed no mercy and punched the guy in his cheeks. His movement was unexpected and fast. While everyone was shocked about the sudden move, Rewen again punched his opponent's face.

He was now completely dominating the match. His opponent initially wanted to fight back but with Rewen's momentum and quick consecutive punches, he couldn't get a hold of his footing and eventually fell off. 

But Rewen wasn't done. He dashed towards the Leader of the newbie Club and threw a kick at his torso.

It was blocked.

"You are good, but not enough." The Leader said so in a neutral expression and pulled it in for a punch in Rewen's face.

It was blocked. Not by Rewen, but by Damien. "You are forgetting us. Men! Fight commence!"

The brawl started.

An hour later. 

Rewen sat down on the ground feeling his knees getting weak. His shirt was torn and his face was filled with bruises and cuts. "Damn… this felt real good." He looked at the men kissing the ground. Only a few people were able to remain standing and they were still staggering, finding it hard to remain static. It was a low-key bloodbath. Never had Rewen expected this level of fight when he decided he would participate in the Club fight.

'I don't know if my combat prowess increased or not but I hella enjoyed it.' Rewen smiled. He was from a battle crazy man but fighting with what he got not using the cheat technique. It let him find out his limits. 

Damien came to him and helped him up. "Good job, champ! You did well. I'll report this to the Club and consider yourself a new member of the Grand Ultine Kapile Club." 

"Haha… this was really tough. So when am I joining? And where do I have to come?"

"Come by to our meeting tomorrow. Give me your mail. I'll send you the address. Don't worry. It's not outside of the town."

"That's a relief."

Rewen talked with Damien and the others for a few minutes before leaving.

Travel Town. Klofar Residence. 2:08 a.m.

He took the bus and returned home. Nothing eventful happened along the way. He felt a bit sleepy in the bus but resisted. "It got really late." Looking at the time, he yawned.

He rang the doorbell.

"Who is it?" 

After about a minute, Denny's voice sounded.

"It's me. Open the door."

She opened the door with a half-asleep look in her eyes. "Where were you?" Clearing her vision, she cried out. "Where were you!? What's with your clothes? What trouble did you brew up again!?"

"Oh… well. I have joined the Grand Ultine Kapile Club. Isn't that amazing?"

"Huh? What? Anyways, go and take a shower. You stink.��

Rewen stretched his hand towards her arm. Seeing the stinky hand approached, her body jerked away. "This. Isn't. Funny. Rewen."

Rewen laughed in a carefree manner and entered the bathroom. Moments later, he got out of the bathroom, went back to his room and changed into loose clothes.

*Knock*

"Rewen. We need to talk."

He opened the door.

"What is it?"

"What were you telling about Club?"

"I said I joined the Grand Ultine Kapile Club."

"Are you serious?"

"Why would I joke?"

"How did you join?"

"Don't you know of my prowess? There was this Club fight and it said if I perform well, I would be recruited. I performed fairly well and that's the whole story."

"Why did you suddenly decide to join the Club? Do you want to become a government official? For connections?"

"For both. Since I have this power at my disposal, why not make full use of it?"

"Indeed. That���s a good plan… Ah, it's… nevermind. Don't wake up late." Denny hesitated to say something but eventually didn't. "Good night." Saying so, she left the room. 

Rewen locked the door and switched off the light before jumping on the bed. Then started reflecting on his actions. 'My pride will one day lead to my doom.' He bitterly smiled. He wasn't an idiot. He understood others quite well. He could say with a high degree of certainty that if he had agreed to the devil woman's deal, although he would still be a victim of her schemes, the outcome would be far less than what he had done by rejecting her deal. While talking with her, he understood from the very beginning that she herself didn't believe the bulls*it traitor-theory she had come up with. 'If I had accepted the deal, I would at most be a victim of a few games but now, I brought potential trouble to my family.'

Taking a deep breath, he closed his eyes. "I have to get stronger quicker."

Gorker and Slither looked deep into their enemies eyes, but nobody moved. Gorker's hand was always on one of his swords. While Slither started to grin. He had his huge metal club ready, and seemed to wait for something. Almost a minute went by and nobody said anything. The tension in the air made weaker Goblins stop breathing.

But suddenly Slither moved. He couldn't wait anymore. He wanted action. He took a huge step forward and swung his club down fast. It was almost as big as Gorker himself. One hit would probably end Gorker instantly.
On the other hand Gorker stayed calm. He jumped back fast and started to dash backwards. He knew what was coming.

The smash on the ground was shocking. The ground broke into all directions. The sound was deafening, as the front rows hold their ears shut. But the worst part was the flying rocks. Rosch had to block some to protect his own females in the audience, while Gorker was the closest and had to struck out 7 times to reflect the bigger ones. The smaller ones, he didn't care. Even though they made him bleed a bit.

The dust went down and Slither smiled, while Gorker looked calm without any emotions whatsoever.
"Come on, attack. It's boring to throw or smash rocks at you. I want a fight that makes my blood boil.", Slither shouted without being able to hold back. He started to walk forward.

Gorker on the other side just waited. It seemed as if he was just reacting, not fighting at all. Slither was 3 meters away now and again held his club high into the air. He got annoyed that Gorker didn't have any will to fight.
But that was his miscalculation, Gorker suddenly accelerated and tried to cut Slithers entire arm of. Slither was shocked and could rise his left arm a bit. The left arm had an arm guard. And it saved him. His left hand only got a deep bloody slash through the arm guard. 
"Gyhahahaha. You dirty trickster. Almost had me fooled. Now let's get the real show started.", Slither said happily.

Gorker suddenly drew his second sword, which he only does against stronger opponents.
"He never did it in our training.", Rosch suddenly said shocked.
"Chiefling. I heard that Gorker uses his one sword style against many opponents or weaker ones, to train. It is more defensive, while his two sword style is against strong opponents, completely disregarding defence. Only concentrating on attacking.", Orosh suddenly told Rosch, making everyone worried. Because it seemed like this fight wouldn't be just a non lethal fight. They were going at each other with the intend to kill. 

Gorker was fast, running into Slither's blind side. Slashing him up, while dodging the retribution. It was a fascinating experience for the audience, since it looked like Slither would be getting cut into a bloody mess, while Gorker was occasionally hit by flying rocks. It looked like Gorker had the upper hand, but the tough skin of Slither wore Gorker's blades down. Two times Gorker almost had to let go of his swords since it got a bit stuck inside the muscle of Slither.

The fight wasn't even going for half an hour, as both looked bloody as hell already. Gorker was dancing around, his cuts getting shallower, while Slither started to breathe heavily. Smashing such a huge metal club around must be hard, even for such a monstrous being like him.

"COME ON, fight like a male.", Slither suddenly shouted. He got frustrated, not being able to hit Gorker with his club. While he could have done more damage at the start of the fight, if he would have taken the fight more seriously with more ranged attacks, but his stubborn self wanted a slugfest. Now he sees his mistake, losing to a Hobgoblin will tarnish his reputation.
Gorker didn't listen and was jumping around even more, slashing Slither everywhere. The audience was shocked. Most believed that Slither would win.
But only Rosch looked grimly.
"Why isn't Gorker giving Slither the finishing blow. Slither is dead tired, because of that Gorker could pierce him from the side easily. Probably reaching all the way to the heart in one go and if it didn't work he could let go of the sword and take his distance again.", Rosch thought annoyed. Is Gorker trying to make a draw? Or do Ogars have special anatomies? Rosch had to many things going through his head at the moment. 

Gorker on the other hand was able to slash through the fat skin on the right ankle of Slither, cutting the tendon clean through. Slither fell on his right knee with a loud scream, while Gorker was dashing further behind Slither. But he, too is getting more tired by the second and tripped on the completely destroyed surface of the plaza. Slither, who stopped smiling for a long time suddenly had the biggest grin on his face he could ever muster. He didn't think and just swung his metal club sideways towards Gorker. 

Gorker didn't have time, he just could put his two swords in front of him to block the attack. But those swords broke like twigs, as they made contact with the huge metal club. Gorker tried to jump back with the force of the attack, but he was still hit in the right side. His right leg and arm were trying to block the club, but twisted and broke in different direction, as the club made contact with his chest. 

Gorker didn't make a sound, but flew 14 meters away and smashed into the ground. His right side was caved in, but he was still breathing. 
Short small gasp, because his lung collapsed. He needed to be treated fastly. 

"FUCK, Silvana go.", Rosch suddenly jumped up and shouted waking most beings up from their shock. But to his surprise Torkel stood up and wanted to interfere with Rosch. While Slither simultaneously, stood up and went towards Gorker. He was slow and hurt, but the unmoving Gorker wouldn't be able to do a thing now.
Slither stood in front of Gorker with a smile and this time he didn't say anything. He just moved his arm up with the club in hand, looking down into Gorker's eyes, who didn't seem scared or in trouble at all. He seemed in peace, as if everything is okay. Slither was annoyed by that and wanted to end it.

"SLITHER. You said a non lethal fight. You asshole, what is going on?",Rosch shouted deeply, his crimson eyes came out and some blackness inside of them, too. The Nightwalker and Goblin bloodline reacted to Roschar's pure rage right now. He released a terrifying aura, pressuring even Slither and Torkel a bit.
But they weren't intimidate by it that much. They were veterans. Slither looked at Rosch and gave him a smile.

"Do you hear him giving up? Look at him. In my eyes he wants to fight. Non lethal to me means unconscious or he has to give up.", Slither's smile grew even further. He knew exactly he had Rosch. If he killed or didn't kill Gorker, Rosch would want to fight him now. The fight in a year would happen to 100 percent now. So the promise of non lethal fight was not needed anymore. He could do whatever he wanted and that was Slithers favorite thing.
But before anything could happen, Rosch who was still in rage started to smile. He was furious, because he got lied to and Gorker's conditions. But he had a trump card. 

As Slither swung his club down, his right arm got slashed deeply. Slither dropped the metal club centimeters away from Gorker, while his hand was bleeding profusely. Everyone looked shocked, but Randan the most. He looked around and smelled the air, but nothing was out of place. Slither looked threateningly at Rosch, as if it was his doing. But Rosch just put his hands in the air as if saying, buddy look, how did I do that? I was standing here all the time.

"Good, seems nobody could feel, see or smell anything. Thanks Cathy, good that I talked with her this morning. I even smeared on her some of Galia's tonic, which covered up her smell. I was only scared that one of the shamans would feel anything, but since it is camouflaged with water magic, the entire opposite of their power, which is fire. We seem to be save. But such tricks won't work always, after seeing it and feeling it more often they will guess what it may be. I have to use Cathy's camouflage in emergencies only. ", Rosch thought happily, but with caution about the future.

" Slither, it seems you angered the mountain spirit. Just like the mountain spirit attacked the Goblins till now. It may have chosen you as its newest target. ", Rosch said threateningly. You could hear gasps in the audience, since some truly believed in the mountain spirit and not Cathy that attacked them till now. At the same time Rastar suddenly came from nowhere whispering something into Randan's ear. 

Rosch didn't see any of that. He was completely occupied with Slither.
Slither went to his club, he didn't care about spirits or anything else. Right now someone tried to take his fun away and he was pissed. As he wanted to attack a sudden weak voice sounded.

"I.... I gi.. give up.", Gorker said after throwing out a mouthful of blood. Rosch, who heard that suddenly accelerated. He drew his bone blades ready to attack, shocking everyone around.
The fight was over. And now the family heads shouldn't have a problem with interfering. Orosh, who saw that went with his other guards towards Torkel to buy time for Rosch, even though they knew they hadn't got any chance. 

Rosch run straight up to Slither ready to take him on. He was tired, hurt and couldn't move well. It was his only chance to take Slither out right now and save Gorker. But to their surprise Randan shouted.

"STOP. This is over. We have a war to fight. Everyone is needed. Every family head will be needed. All of you have ten minutes to be inside my cave. ", after the sentence, Randan just disappeared. Leaving a stunned crowed. They wanted to see a fight to the death. They got excited by Slither and Rosch, but now chaos broke out as everyone rushed back home waiting for orders.

Silvana run up to Gorker, starting her treatment instantly. While Rosch glared at Slither.
" Seems you got lucky.", Rosch suddenly said, trying to make Slither attack him. But Slither just turned around and left.
This time he knew, he couldn't get his fun.

Rosch went to Gorker and looked at him. He looked pretty bad, but nothing Silvana couldn't handle.
" What was going on? I really thought you had some chances to take him down, but you didn't.", Rosch said wanting to know what happened, but Gorker used up his last energy to say, I give up. Now he needed rest and Rosch saw that. He helped carrying him back into Moonwalker territory, as the entire audience left the plaza chaotically.

In a dark world, on a mountain lives a crossbreed that tries to survive. Even though he is part goblin, he just doesn't look like one and that makes his life harder then needed. His tribe is hard enough on him but in the outside world it will be only harder. And that he will learn the hard way.

Chapter 4
 The moment I walked into A-5, I felt nerves shoot threw me. I shivered, goosebumps appearing on my arms, my palms are sweaty, I'm about to fight the captain of the Martial Arts club, I hope I can defeat him.
 William immediately saw me, "Hey Adam, ready to fight me?"
 I stared at William, "Uhhh. Not really? No? Yes? Yes?" starts sweating.
 Smirking, William told me, "Well, you better get ready, or it's going to hurt a lot. I'll give you a few minutes."
 I start pouring sweat, hurt? Is it going to hurt?
 Wait, I have very high pain tolerance, so why am I so nervous? Brain fart.
 I walked over to William, "Hey, William? When is our fight going to start? I'm ready."
 Grinning, William replied, "Finally, I thought we were going to have to be here all day. Hey Joe, get over here! Count us down!"
 Joe walked over, and I recognized him as one of the guys I fought at lunch.
 I said, "Hi Joe, I fought you at lunch right?" 
 Joe nodded, " Hey Adam, you guys know the rules. 1-2-3 fight!"
 William lunged at me, I ducked and punched him on the ribs. The fight went on for what seemed like seconds.
 When we finally pulled back from each other, our breaths were labored.
 Smiling, Wiliam said, "Not bad," with his fists still up he lunged forward, I ducked, but he hit me in the side.
 Ow, that's going to bruise.
 We continued to fight, then, slowly, but steadily I gained more control over the fight, I noticed he protected his right more than his left.        
So I directed my hits to the left, quick, but strong hits. I moved closer and closer, my hits were more and more confident, with a last hit to the left, William lost his footing and landed on his butt.
 I blinked, "I won right?"
 William got up and clapped me on the back, "You won, Adam. You are now the new Captain of The Martial Arts Club! Now let's get some water and sit down. Haven't fought like that in a while."
 Mark walked up to me, "Good job, man," while giving me a high-five.
 I smiled, "Yeah, thanks, Mark," high-fiving him back.
 Then I stopped walking, "Wait? What does the Captain of the Martial Arts club even do?"
 I rushed back to A-5, "William!!"
 William turned around, "What? Oh, Adam. What is it?"
 I walked over to him, "What does the Captain of the Martial Arts club do?"
 William said, "Well, the Captain usually schedules the tournaments, represent the club, stuff like that."
 I raised my eyebrows, "That's it? Really?"
 William shrugged, "Yeah, if you need any help, just ask me."
 I walked out of A-5 to see Mark waiting for me, "Hey Mark, you didn't need to wait for me."
 Mark shrugged.
 We walked to the school gate.
 I took out my phone, "Bye, Mark, I need to call someone to pick me up."
 Mark nodded, "Bye, man."
 I dialed Adam's phone number.
 Adam picked up two rings later, "Hey, Avery, you need a ride, right?"
 I nodded, then remembering he couldn't see me, "Uhh, yeah, I need a ride. Can Thomas pick me up?"
 Adam said, "Yeah, he's on his way. He'll be there in 5 minutes. Tell me about your day when you get home. Bye."
 I looked at the phone, Adam had hung up.
 5 minutes later, Thomas had arrived.
 I got into the car. 
 Thomas smiled at me, "How was your day, Miss?"
 I smiled back, "It was great, I am the Captain of the Martial Arts club now."
 Thomas's smile widened, "We knew you could do it."
 I smiled, "Thank you, for believing in me."
 The rest of the ride was quite.
 When we got to my new home, it was a nice apartment with 3 rooms. 
 Adam came out of the first room, smiling, "So, Avery how was your day?"
 I smiled, "I have a feeling you already know."
 Adam smiled wider, "Yeah, you're the Captain of the Martial Arts Club, yippee."
 Still smiling I said, "I need a shower and I have homework to do, see you a dinner," I walked away, then I came back, "Hey, Adam, where is my room?"
 Adam told me, "The one right next to mine. Oh, and the bathroom is next to the kitchen."
 I nodded, "Thanks."
 A few hours later.
 Dinner was amazing, it tasted delicious like every flavor was bursting inside my mouth. 
 I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and get ready for bed, tomorrow I will be starting the day as Captain of The Martial Arts Club.

Avery is to continue Adam's family tradition at Princeton High, where every male of the Darkwaters family, starting from Adam's great-great-grandfather, had to become The Captain of the Martial Arts Club.

The skeleton went after the ice goblin; it swung its sword diagonally at its shoulder; the goblin raised its club to block the sword.
Mana gathered on both of their weapons. The skeleton had activated its physical boost magic while the goblin activated its ice magic.
Rather than another ice shard, the ice actually grew like a thorn from the club, it became a spiked club.
The sword still cut through the club, but it ran out of power before it could damage the goblin, it only left a shallow mark as the goblin moved back.
Mana started to gather on the club once more, and the club's missing part got replaced with ice.
On the other side, the imp was having an easier time fighting the fire goblin, imp has a high resistance toward fire so it could just ignore the goblin's magic.
It becomes a purely physical battle; the imp kicks at the higher level creature, while the creature blocks it with its club.
The goblins have a higher level than the imp or the skeleton, which means they are physically stronger.
Goblins and imps are cousins, they have similar physical strength at the same level. But currently, the goblin has higher levels, so it is supposed to be stronger.
The only edge the imp had was its training focused on its legs, which allowed it to fight on equal grounds with the Goblin.
Meanwhile, Char and Anne were engaging with the summoners. They tried to get closer but their opponent kept attacking them from a distance while keeping their distance.
"Damn, they are trying to tire us out!" Char cursed as he dodged another fireball coming toward him.
"They are higher level, which means they have more mana pool than us, they can keep firing until we make a mistake," he thought.
Char pivoted as he turned to the fighting goblins, "To win, I can just kill the summoned creature. It's pointless to engage against the summoner if they have no intention to fight!"
He ran at the goblin, but suddenly an ice shard grew from the floor, blocking his way.
"Damn, they're using abstract magic!" he realized.
What differentiates creatures with 'mage' in their names such as goblin mage or ogre mage were their ability to use abstract magic.
Every creature has magic, which makes them a mage, but abstract magic is different. Normally magic has a fixed form such as a fireball will always be a projectile, but abstract magic could allow the creature to change the form of their magic.
"This fight just became complicated, abstract magic is rarely used under baron rank since they are hard to control and hardly stronger than normal magic, but once someone could control the abstract magic, their versatility increased dramatically!"
Char turned at the boy who just blocked his way, "If you want to fight me then fight, if you don't want to fight me then don't block my way!" he shouted.
"Why would I fight you? All I need is to buy some time and my goblin mage will surely beat your skeleton! There is no way it will lose against a mere skeleton!" the older boy smirked.
"We shall see about that, for now, I will show you that you just pick a fight with someone you should not!" Char declared as he went after the boy once more.
Mana gathered on his limbs as he activated half powered physical boost on all of his limbs, his speed increased considerably even though not as fast as it did in his fight against Robert.
Char zigzagged as he dodged another projectile before he reached the boy's side. He had pulled his sword, ready to block Char's attack.
Their sword clashed. After a few hits rather than stopping each other, Char's sharpened sword cut his enemy's sword in half as he tried to cut it at the same place repeatedly.
But the older boy did not just stand there, he already raised his hand at Char's stomach when he tried to attack.
A ball of ice appeared on his palm before it launched at Char's stomach, Char's sword stopped as he fell to his knee in pain.
The older boy about to hit him when he got sent flying by a flaming roundhouse kick, Anne had finished her fight and came to his rescue.
"You let your guard down," She helped him up.
"Yeah, I did not expect him to do that. Using other magic while in a sword fight is really convenient," he shrugged.
"Have the fight end?" he asked.
"It's about to end," She said as she pointed at the skeleton.
Its left hand was missing, and it did not dodge when the goblin swung its ice spiked club at its head. Its head got smashed and sent flying away, but its body stayed standing.
Its headless body swung its sword at the goblin's neck, beheading the creature before it had time to reorient itself.
On the other hand, the Imp had also finished its battle. It kicked the goblin in the crotch area before smashing its head with its iron kick.
The referee declared their win before they went down from the arena. There was no more fight for the day, so they went back to their own dorm after saying goodbye.
"I actually lost a fight. How long has it been since I lost someone?" Char thought.
"But from the last fight, I actually learned a lot of things. The way I train my skeleton is similar to how to train abstract magic. Although normal magic is not as malleable as abstract magic, it definitely can be altered according to the user's will."
"Should I let Skelly become a skeleton mage so I can have abstract magic? But since normal magic can actually be trained in a similar way, it should not be too important to have abstract magic."
"It is good in swordsmanship, but magic is also important. Can't it just take both paths?" he wondered.
"It has more magic circles than normal creatures, so it might be possible!" he realized.

Almost everyone was shocked to their cores by this scene,  but it was a different type of shock compared to their earlier surprise.
The twin witches… the beautiful, talented girls who never showed their true feelings; the girls that the entire grade secretly feared… were actually crying!?
Not only that, they were crying so wretchedly.
They hugged each other tightly, and both tears and snot flowed out as their bodies trembled.
They lacked their usual imposing mannerism and behavior.
Suddenly, it seemed liked they ‘d recalled something as they let go of each other and hurriedly brought out their cell phones… before despair clouded their expressions yet again!
"I set a new password for your cell phones—did you forget?" Seiji stated calmly.
After glancing at him, the twins threw away their cell phones and started crying again as they embraced each other once more.
Everyone was struck speechless by this situation.
Just what exactly was going on!?
Kyosuke Akanishi and all the other karate club members were utterly confused. Chiaki, Mika, and Hoshi began to understand what was happening after they recovered from their shock.
"My sisters…" Hoshi had a complex expression.
"They’ve been forced to the brink—that’s why they’ve broken down," Chiaki sighed.
While she was surprised at how the twins lost control of their emotions, after thinking about it with a clear head, she considered it to be the natural outcome of facing off against Seiji.
"They’re… crying like young children," Mika muttered to herself.
"I… I’ve never seen my sisters cry like this… The last time I saw them shed tears was so long ago…" Hoshi said in a soft voice.
‘From a certain angle, these twins are still children,’ Seiji thought as he watched the girls.
Their mental development became twisted at an early age and was never corrected. They grew up abnormally, and their immaturity and weakness was well concealed by their excellent appearance and behavior on the surface.
They were just like a tree that grew up crooked. The treetop was covered with flourishing leaves and branches, but the trunk below had a twisted shape. The moment it met a true thunderstorm, it would break—and expose its weak nature!
Perhaps they deserved some measure of sympathy, but regardless, they weren’t children anymore. There was no more room for forgiveness no matter how slight the mistake.
Seiji took his gaze off them and glanced at Kyosuke the club captain before sweeping over the other karate club members with his eyes.
"Since it’s come to this, there’s no need to hide anything. My request for Rion and Kotomi Amami… was to make them destroy all their own blackmail material on others and change themselves for the better if I achieved victory!"
His loud words temporarily overwhelmed the twins’ sobbing and rung clearly in every person’s ears.

All the karate club members felt another wave of shock surge over them upon realizing what they had heard!
Those like Kyosuke, who were being blackmailed by the twin sisters, quickly understood what it meant!
And those that weren’t being blackmailed, but were still under the twins’ control, due to reasons such as fear of their dominance, inwardly shouted in joy as well!
This was… freedom!
That’s right—freedom. If Seigo Harano had spoken truthfully, then his victory meant the freedom of every single person under the twins’ shadowy control!
After coming to this realization, they looked at Seigo Harano differently. They wanted to believe in him, but they still held doubt.
There was just one problem.
Was this all true!?
"Of course it’s true." Seiji detected the crowd’s suspicion and relieved it directly. "I have no reason to lie. It’s up to you guys whether or not to believe me. With how these two… are in their current state, it’s equal to admitting defeat… But if any of you still aren’t satisfied and don’t believe that I’ve won yet, or want to defend them, I’m more than happy to continue this duel."
Seiji folded his arms over his toned chest. "But I’m going to say it straight out—I’ll treat anyone who still wants to stand before me as my serious opponents, just like the twin sisters. I won’t promise… to go easy anymore."
His voice remained calm.
But all the karate club members were filled with terror as an almost tangible pressure swept over them!
He wouldn’t promise to go easy anymore… This meant that he hadn’t even used his full ability!
As they recalled his previous duels, this seemed quite obvious.
He just instantly defeated ten people over two rounds, and not a single person was able to withstand more than a single blow. That meant that none of them were close to being able to bring out his true ability.
Also, the most obvious evidence was the fact that this "destroyer of clubs" just defeated ten people, but… he didn’t even break into a sweat!!!
Monster.
This was what the twin witches had just called him.
Now, all the karate club members were inwardly agreeing with that assessment.
Merely the thought of an all-out fight against this terrifying existence filled them with fear!
No wonder the witches had broken down.
They tried to imagine being in the twins’ shoes, facing an angry Seigo Harano… heavens, no more imagining this topic!
As they pictured the scene the karate club members unconsciously shivered.

The karate club members looked towards the monster… whoops, the legendary "destroyer of clubs," and all of them averted their gazes or lowered their heads when Seigo looked in their direction.
Who would want to fight on behalf of the witches!?
The taste of freedom was wonderful as well as unexpected! Perhaps they would have wanted to face him if they didn’t know the truth, but now that they knew his motives, anyone that still wanted to face him would be an idiot!!

Kyosuke Akanishi averted his gaze from Seigo Harano and pretended to be engrossed by a butterfly flying outside the window.
Seiji was rather surprised that even the club captain admitted defeat so readily. He believed that Kyosuke would personally fight him for the sake of the karate club’s pride.
‘I suppose Rion and Kotomi are just that unpopular.’
As soon as he stated the truth of the matter, none of the karate club members—including the captain—were willing to stand and fight for her anymore; nobody even spoke up on the twins’ behalf. This was despite having to swallow the bitter medicine of admitting defeat to a single person.
Seiji believed that to be the truth, but he didn’t realize that it was his overwhelming physical ability which scared them into submission.

The words that the twins said right before they broke down, and even their actions that proved they still wanted to try something with their cell phone. Seiji decided to ignore all that one last time for Hoshi’s sake.
This was the final time he would calmly ask the sisters this question.
