As the title suggests, this section is of how I came up with this character. I'm doing this mostly cause I suck at writing and I can't come up with anything for the next chapter, so bear with it. I guess. No one's forcing you to.

This story goes back to a dark time in most people's life, high school. Ava didn't start out in her own world or her own story. She came out of a crappy Final Fantast 7 fan fic I came up with at some point. And her name was Eden at the time. Why? 'Cause I thought it sounded cool. The biggest reason she's female is because of how I grew up. I grew up in a mostly female household. My sisters always had control over the tv and movies and whatnot. So it was constant "girly" movies. Stuff like Mulan, Pocahontas, The Powerpuff Girls, Bratz and even Barbie. I never actually had a favorite Barbie movie, they were all torture. (Princess and the Pop Star. Fight me b****). Normally a young boy would hate this and would rather be watching Transformers or something, but not this guy. I liked these movies growing up. I discovered Final Fantasy around middle school and really enjoyed it. By the time I was in high school and, for some reason, decided to make a fan fiction and I made Ava. I automatically made her female because I grew up with badass female characters; Mulan, Pocahontas, Ripley, Wonder Woman, etc. So I wanted to make a character as awesome as they were. Originally I was going to make her more like one character that I had already come up with in middle school(still doing rewrites on that character to this day .-.). This was like peak emo phase so she was going to be extremely edgy. But then it hit me, none of my favorite characters were necessarily edgy. They had their dark moments, but they also had their charming and whimsical moments. So I strayed from making her too much like Elisa (that's the character). Back to business; after the whole fan fiction fiasco, I finally played a Final Fantasy (I did like Final Fantasy in middle school, but hadn't actually played one until high school). And that game was Final Fantasy 13, one of the worst in the series, but it is a guilty pleasure of mine. I got so into it that I researched as much as I could about 13 and found the whole Nova Chrysalis thingy. In the process I discovered Final Fantasy Type-0, a game out of the Nova Chrysalis mythology. It still hadn't received its western release, but I got my hands on a PSP emulator and downloaded a fan translation version of the game. Over time the FF7 fan fiction became a Type-0 fan fiction. It was then that I had finally named her Ava and in that fan fic she was actually one of the newest members of Class Zero. Throughout most of high school I kept that fan fiction until one day I thought to myself, why don't I make Ava her own thing? I didn't entirely scrap the fan fic however. If I somehow end up making more than one chapter, and if you've played Type-0, you'll notice that I kept a ton of elements from it, some stuff from 13, and some pretty heavy inspirations from Wonder Woman. Since then I've come up with my own things to add to her world expanding it as much as I can, but can't actually write any of it because it sounds better in my mind and when I finally write it I end up thinking "I am an insult to all writers out there". And that is her origin as a character. 

Small little bonus:
Sometime during my senior year I had gotten pretty decent at drawing so I researched all kinds of armor that I could apply to Ava. The female body has always been easier for me to draw so drawing Ava wasn't that much of a big deal (I once tried to draw Spider-Man, but I subconsciously drew a female so I ended up with Gwen Stacy's Ghost Spider instead). After much research on female armor I finally got down to drawing it. And it sucked. Bad. I did keep it though. Mostly because it's the only succesful one I've drawn and still use the armor design to this day. If I ever make it to the point when she gets her armor, describing it will be hell.

Pei Qian pondered for a moment and still decided that he could not take the risk. 
It would be best if he could bluff Fei Huang Workspace into spending large sums of money and come up with their own ideas and script. That would increase their chances of incurring losses! 
Thus, Pei Qian chose to avoid talking about his hopes for Huang Sibo. Instead, he changed the topic entirely. 
"There's no need to rush things like creativity. Many famous directors improvise their script as they film, don't they? I believe that Director Zhu Xiaoce can do the same! 
"The most important thing is that it seems too unambitious for a filming workspace, that was established nine months ago and that has Tengda Corporation as its backing, to continue working on short videos and generating revenue from sponsored partnerships and an online shop!"

However, a proper movie to be screened in cinemas had to last at least ninety minutes. 
On the surface, it merely looked several times longer. However, underneath laid a massive difference. 
A short video that only lasted several minutes could be made up of different comedic clips. The story could be messy and all over the place, but as long as it could make viewers laugh, the short video would be considered a success. 
On the other hand, it would not be enough for a ninety-minute-long movie to merely make the audience laugh. 
In order to produce an outstanding movie, the story had to be complete and pull at the audience's heartstrings. That was far more difficult than creating a short video. 
Coming up with comedic material alone would not be sufficient to create a good movie. 
Many movies that had been produced to ride on web series' popularity failed terribly, precisely because the producers were not powerful or skilled enough to produce a proper movie. They saw movies as merely extended versions of their short videos. That was where they failed. 
"Boss Pei, that is why it'll be very risky for us to try and produce a proper movie. It's best if we don't take that risk unless we're a hundred percent confident. 
"At the very least, we need to come up with a good script, right?" 
Huang Sibo looked very earnest. 
Pei Qian remained silent for a long time. It looked like Huang Sibo knew a lot about this! 
However, now that he had put it that way, Pei Qian was all the more interested in producing a movie!

Pei Qian could not think of good ideas at the moment. 
However, he was not in a rush either. After all, he only needed to come up with a rough script in two or three days. 
Just as he wanted to close the document, Pei Qian thought about something else and intentionally bolded the words 'science fiction'. 
He could not forget that this was supposed to be a sci-fi movie. 
He had to make sure that sci-fi elements appeared in the plot, so that he could spend more money on props and special effects. 
Of course, as to what kind of sci-fi elements he should add…
He had to think about it tomorrow. 
Satisfied, Pei Qian read the general framework for the plot once through, from beginning to end. He nearly passed out from the toxicity.

I went back to my science lab which I had constructed in the basement of my house. I started making the time machine with everything that my gut feelings said. The machine was powered by the stone from space.

I had put together different machinery to make laser boosters. Over the next few days I created the engine, time boost and lots of other equipment. When I finished creating all the pieces I assembled them. I always had my students helping me in my science research and experiments, but this was different and crazy. 

My desire to see the time of "terracotta warriors" had driven me crazy. I was too desperate to think logically. Before the thought of "effect of lasers on my body" entered my brain, I turned the lasers boosters on and then walked onto the time machine. 

I had set the time machine to year of the "King with dragon tail". I stepped on to the pad that was on the floor and turned on the power knob.

It worked.
