It seemed like the natives living on this planet were very confident. Although they valued the two Mythical creatures, they were not afraid of Wei Huo and the Snake God.
However, at that moment, the starry sky above their heads was suddenly extinguished!
Everyone lifted their heads and looked at the sky. It was a starry sky that was constantly spinning. Because the time flow outside the star system was faster, the starry sky was spinning very quickly. However, the starry sky was constantly darkening.
The stars went out one after another. It was like seeing a city with a power outage from space. All the lights were suddenly gone.
Dozens of stars were extinguished every second. The sky started turning darker and darker.

The starry sky kept turning dark. Only a few dim stars were still glowing occasionally. Ma Tengyun looked at the scenery and could not help but say, "That's a dying star. It seems like it's beneath the Star Devourer when it comes to devouring such stars."

At that moment, a peak Legendary-level native said calmly, "The Milky Way is finished!"
His words spread out in the form of mental waves. As soon as he finished speaking, the others nodded in agreement. Everyone stopped fighting. At that moment, there was no point in fighting. Everything was over. There was no point in fighting anymore.
However, they had not expected the peak Legendary native to say, "Not every creature can set foot in this star system. This is a Rule Area created by a level-nine Divine Artifact. Every object that enters this area will make the area larger. The volume will increase three times. If this giant beast enters this place…"
Wei Huo and the Snake God were the only ones who heard that. The Legendary creature did not transmit any more spiritual waves. It was talking to its companion. Wei Huo and the Snake God could naturally intercept their conversation.
At that moment, the head of the Star Devourer had already entered the star system. Just as the peak Legendary creature had said, the range of the time fault had suddenly expanded. One head of the giant beast had expanded to the size of three heads of the Star Devourer. When the giant beast had entered half of its body, it had expanded the body 1.5 times.
Before the Star Devourer could fully enter, a second Star Devourer appeared. It seemed like the second Star Devourer had come to help after seeing that its companion could not take down the star system.
Their traveling speed in the universe was not considered fast, but the time flow outside was millions of times faster.
With the addition of the second Star Devourer, the time fault area continued expanding. Soon, the third, fourth, and subsequent Star Devourers started entering the star system from the outside.
Wei Huo said, "It seems like a level-nine Divine Artifact is comparable to a real Mythical creature. Generally speaking, only the Rule Waves released by a Mythical creature can grow on their own."
The three Forbidden Death Areas created by Wei Huo were the best example. The more people entered them, the larger the territory of the Forbidden Death Areas would become. The aura of death would also increase.
It seemed like this was the case now. More and more Star Devourers were squeezing their way in, causing the time gap to increase.
It seemed like that was why the Legendary peak had said that the Milky Way was finished. If the Star Devourers squeezed into this star system, the time fault might expand to cover the entire Milky Way.
The peak Legendary creature said, "It seems like there's not much time left. Unfortunately, there hasn't been a Perfected cultivator in our race. Perhaps this is the repulsive force of the world."
Another peak Legendary creature said, "That's right. As the time gap continues to expand, the fourth level, fifth level, and even the outside world will continue to grow indefinitely. The third level is already a million times larger than the outside world. If the fourth level appears, the time ratio will probably be a million times larger. At this rate, we will be able to see the prelude to the universe's destruction before long."
These peak Legendary creatures no longer fought with the people of other civilizations. They immediately returned to the ground and used various divine weapons to leave the planet with a large number of their people. However, when they left the planet and returned to the second level of the time fault, the star system was already surrounded by endless Star Devourers. There was not even a single blind spot left.
However, they did not give up. The peak Legendary creature among them roared, "Use the divine weapon to open a path!"

The sizes of Star Devourers ranged from the size of a star system to the size of 10 star systems. However, they did not seem to have any intelligence. Their instinct drove them to devour stars. Most of the stars in the Milky Way had been devoured by them. The only ones left were the stars in the Forbidden Death Zone.
The Star Devourers kept squeezing in. Due to the time fault, the Star Devourers behind them squeezed in one after another. This caused the area around the star system to be filled with distorted Star Devourer faces. They had open mouths that looked very disgusting.
Wei Huo told the Snake God, "I thought of a place where I could leave this world, but the road has been blocked."
The Snake God said calmly, "Star Devourers? Unfortunately, that doesn't match my sense of aesthetics. In that case, devour them all."
After the two Mythical creatures finished communicating, two Rule Waves spread out silently.

    "I have a feeling he's in the gym. Let's go."

   The gym had volleyballs littered all over the floor, empty ball bins behind him. "Oi, dumbass, stop it," Iwaizumi repremanded his best friend. Oikawa ignored him, and kept going. "Tooru, stop it!" You scolded, walking closer. That's when you caught sight of your brother's dark raven hair. "Tobio? I thought you went home?" You questioned. "O-oh... no, I wanted to ask if Oikawa-san would teach me how to serve," he said. The Burnette seemed to space out. "Tobio, that's not a good idea right now. Please just go home," you suggested. Oikawa was really spacing out, and he made a movement to go and hit your brother. Your eyes widened, but Iwaizumi grabbed his arm. "Kageyama, go home," Iwaizumi said. Your brother nodded, walking out of the gym. "Get a hold of your fucking emotions!" Iwaizumi yelled at him. Iwaizumi ranted about how immature and rude Oikawa was being. You walked over to the boy, and hugged him from behind. "It's ok. It's ok, Tooru. It's ok. You're ok," I whispered. "(Y/N)..." he muttered, turning around to face me. He said no words and just hugged me, his head in the crook of my neck. I looked at Iwaizumi, and motioned for him to leave. He looked at us, and nodded. 


       "Why are you still here with me? I almost hit your brother. You should hate me," he said. You two had cleaned up the gym, and were now currently sitting in a corner of the gym, him leaning on your shoulder, and your head resting on his. "You were fustrated. He knew that, he can't be that stupid. He repl- you got switched out for him today, and he expected you to be all sunshine and rainbows about it?" You said, grabbing his hand. You started tracing patterns on it. "Well, no, but Iwa- Chan was right, he's only just a k-" Oikawa started. "No. He's 13. He's only 2 years younger than us. It's not your fault. You're ok. It's not your fault," you interrupted. Quiet filled the room for a bit, before he got up, extending a hand towards you. You grabbed it, and he pulled you up. "Where are we going?" You asked as he led you out of the gym, locking up behind him. "You'll see," he said. He led you to the roof of the club room. "Stars!" You excitedly said. He nodded his head, laughing quietly at how cute you were. "Tooru, what if we see aliens tonight?" You asked jokingly. "I would think I died and went to heaven," he said. You were standing looking up at the stars, so he decided to just go up to you and wrap his arms around you. "Warm..." he muttered. You nodded, and kept looking at the stars. "Hey, I got something for you," he said after a while. "Really? You shouldn't have... but I got you something too," you admitted. "Ok, I want to give you mine first!" He exclaimed. You nodded, and he pulled out a small box. He handed it to you, and you opened it. Inside was a ring. A blue gem, with small stars and moons on it. "Because the stars are kind of our thing, I thought I should get you something that matched that," he explained. "I love it, thank you," you said, putting the ring on your finger. You handed him the small box you had in your jacket pocket. "But one more thing... Why did you copy me Tooruuuu~~!" You said jokingly. He laughed, as he opened the box. A ring with a galaxy/nebula was on it. "Oh this is cool!" He shouted, putting the ring on his finger. You both admired the rings for a while, before you decided to start heading back home. 

    "Hey, (Y/N). Promise you won't leave me? You were planning on going to Seijoh with me, right?" He asked nervously.

"Yep. I promise. As long as we keep these rings on us, weather it be on a necklace or a finger, unless we're on the court, we'll never leave each other," you said, holding out your pinkie. He grabbed a hold of it, and shook it. 

              "Forever?" "Forever."

"The odds are never in our favor, so why would they be in it now huh? What's to stop you from breaking my heart?"

"I love you. That's what's stopping me from breaking your heart. Believe me, I would never. And I think for once, the universe decided to rewrite the stars for us."





You are Kegeyama's older sister. You were only two years ahead of him, but you found him to be kind of annoying. You are siblings after all. You two went to the same middle school, and shared the same passion for volleyball.

You were one of the best middle blockers, and because of this you met the one and only, Oikawa Tooru. The boy who stole your heart. You two were great friends, and it was obvious that you two liked each other as more.


But, you got scouted to go to Shiratorizawa because of your great grades and outstanding volleyball skills. Your parents decided you should go to Shiratorizawa instead of Seijoh, where you wanted to go with Oikawa.


It seemed that the odds were never in your guys' favor. Kageyama hated him, and you went to rival schools.

You never thought falling in love with him would hurt this much.

He never thought falling in love with you would make him go insane.



After those men leave I realize that the people of this country would've told the whole world if they have an alien so why didn't they?? I'm still under the couch thinking about this when, "Athena get out of there please and tell me what you're thinking?"she says rather rudely. 

I get up and glare at her. She rolls her eyes and looks at me expectantly. "Well it doesn't make sense that they wouldn't tell the world about the alien so maybe the alien is angry with them or hates them for some reason,"I say my thoughts out-loud. She just looks at me like I'm stupid. 

"Athena, who in their right mind would tell people about an alien that is planning to help them?"she says confidently. I just shrug off her rudeness. 

"Listen we just need to go find people who've seen this thing so they can tell us what it is. We need to know and we need to know if the alien is working with them or against them,"I say without taking sides on either of our opinions. "The problem is Athena that we're going to get killed since we're targets. So I suggest we go at night and before morning we find places to hide. We take flashlights only to make sure a place is secure otherwise we don't use the flashlights at all,"she says everything while shouting and in one breath. I just stare at her for a few minutes. 

"Fine but how are we going to talk to people we can't see or trust,"I say trying to sound smart. "By eavesdropping Athena, we can't trust anyone,"she says seriously. 

Later that night, in complete darkness we make our way through a wasteland of our town. "You know I find it strange how just yesterday all you cared about was your friends and living life carefree without caring about your family. Now you're all war-mode and it's weird,"I say in conclusion but I whisper. "Can you shut up? I'm trying not to get caught, when we're in a safe place you can then start asking useless questions. Do I have to tell you everything,"she asks and tells me in a whisper. "No, because you weren't there my whole life so don't try to play older sister. I have one older sibling and it's Jaxon,"I say confidently and without feeling but still in a whisper. 

"I don't care Athena! Just shut up because there's a camp up ahead and I'm not getting caught and killed by army men. If they try to kill us I'll leave you and run. Depending on who's caught first, the other runs,"she said in a whisper but seriously. Our shadows are not even allowed to be seen. If we're caught were dead even if it's our own army. They killed Tyler! 

We creep slowly by when we see our own army men but it's what they're talking about that caught our attention. We stay put behind a barrel and listen. "I can't believe this alien is attacking us, it has no right to do so,"one man says to the other. "Yeah So has anyone actually seen it?"another man asked. "I heard a group of soldiers called the stars saw him but they died and didn't get to tell the tale,"one man said rather confidently. 

"Well their was a man who survived they say. He said that the monster looks so human but yet mixes other creatures. It looks very weird. Looks like fire gushing forth,"the man says with a solemn expression on his face that indicates that the man probably died. 

I feel like talking to Heidi so we can discuss this but I know I'm only asking for my death wish. We make our way to a broken and rundown house so we can talk. We make sure it's far away so that they can't hear us or find us. "So it's the aliens fault,"Heidi says angry and continues, "it's that things fault that our parents are dead." "No, it's the humans fault that they're dead. Think about it Heidi, they're randomly killing innocents and they're chasing an alien. The killing of innocents is their fault. I saw them kill Tyler infront of my eyes. What about Jaxon? He is in the group stars so he's dead,"I say and then regret it because you can't believe these people blindly. 

She just looked at me with tears in her eyes, she started looking at the devastated homeland we once knew as beautiful and safe. A paradise where we felt secure, but now it's all gone, disintegrated to ashes. "Look Heidi, we never thought this could happen to us but it's unpredictable and we can't be hidden from bad things our whole life. Heidi you have to stop believing everything you hear and believe what you see,"I say because I know for a fact that the alien hasn't killed anyone yet. 

This alien must have been alive for decades so why come now? "Aliens never come for no reason Heidi, so why now?"I ask bringing my thought to words. "I honestly don't know Athena,"she says with tears still rolling down her face continuously. 

I hug her tight and then we hear gunshots. I feel sorry for that soul. The gunshots seem random and come in our direction as well. They're making sure no ones alive. It's strange, I wonder if the government promised that their families would be taken to a safe place because they were lied to. Eventually it stops and all my adrenaline leaves my veins. I feel like screaming in anguish and I barely make out Heidi's face, her face contorts in pain. I grab my bag and a small torch that emits light so close by that you can't even see if there's a snake two steps away. I lift it and examine every-part of her body. 

I find three bullet wounds but not fatal ones. I take them out and put disinfectant on them. She's in excruciating pain from what I see on her face. I finally wrap a gauze around her leg, arm and shoulder. I finally examine myself and there's one bullet that's lodged in a bone. I just roll my eyes. I dislodge it and feel like screaming but I can't. I disinfect it and take some metal thing, attach it to my leg so that I'm stable till it heals. 

"We need to put up shields, this seems like a routine. We have to otherwise one of us is going to get a fatal wound and die,"I say seriously. She nods. I tell her to stay even though I'm more seriously injured. I grab some metal pieces and other materials to shield us or to make the bullets ricochet, I'm hoping they don't find that weird. 

This is our only hope, our only chance at survival. We don't want to die so we have to fight to live day by day. The next problem is food.

One moment you're free and loving life, not caring to think what you might be doing to hurt someone else or something else. The next, your whole world turns upside down and you question everything you ever did. 

The war began and yes, of course it's not my fault. People are just dumb, but what happens when you realize it might just be your fault, not the war, but the events afterwards.

Yesterday after everything settled down we un-packed our bags and basically looked around then came back up to our little treehouse and went to bed.

Me and Allen are currently sitting in the mini living room looking at the scenery out over the big balcony doors. Allena and I are in our bathing suits while Allen has on a nice pair of swim trunks. Today is the day we do a round of activities on the water or hang out and make friends, both would be fun for me. "Let's go" Allena says climbing down the small ladder that leads to our rooms. I grab my bag with my towel and two nice hard cover books in it and follow her as Allen follows me.

5 minutes later

We are finally down the six flights of stairs and down the hill that leads to the bonfire or chill spot and the huge lake which currently holds a many teens ranging from 16 to 19. "Now here's the best spot to take our pictures Allena says handing her phone and bag to Allen and I do the same. He drops them on a chair and me and Allena pose. We had agreed on taking a photo while Allen agreed to only hold the camera and not be in the photo. He hates taking pictures for some odd reason, I mean my brother is a cutie! Not being weird or nothing. 'CLICK'. I heard the sound of the picture button go off. 

"Okay let us see the picture" I told him impatiently. He handed the phone over and when I seen the photo I screamed with excitement bc I look so cute with my little shorts on facing the water while she's facing me and the camera also looking fierce as always! Man I love my sister, she's so confident and sexy and can pull all the guys and girls she wants!! But me I'm just small cute fragile and lonely. "This is cute im going to post it later" llena says as she gives me the "stop thinking like that" face and I instantly smile bc she knows when I'm doubting myself or having bad thoughts in general. "Let's go Allen, Alice is gonna read. We will be back to get you in 45 minutes so watch our stuff and be good, don't move from these chairs and don't go with anyone into their treehouses unless we are with you! Got it"? Allena asks me and I instantly nod yes. "Use your words ally" llena says. "Yes" I say and sit down pulling out the fault in our stars hard cover copy of the book custom made with my name on it.

20 minutes later

"Is this seat taken"? a familiar voice questions. I look up only to blush and look back down. "No it's not taken". I tell the mysterious guy with a familiar voice. He sits down next to me and looks at my book confused. I snicker and say "it was custom made as a gift to me from my father because I love to read, it's the fault in our stars" he smiles then smirks then laughs. All those emotions playing on his face made my heart flutter and my panties drip a little. I sucked in a breath as his chuckles died down enough for him to talk. "So what's your name beautiful"? He questions with a compliment. I instantly blush and say "Alice but everyone calls me Ally". He took a sharp breath then His eyes flashed with recognition like he realized something then it quickly faded within the blink of an eye. "Ally" he says testing the name on his tongue. My godddd it sounded so hot coming From him!! "Beautiful name for a beautiful girl". He says making me blush harder than before. I smiled "thank you, what's your"- "ally it's time to stop reading and go swimming" Allen says. "Oh okay" I say. "It was nice me"- I stop mid sentence as I look up and the guys gone. "How strange". "What's strange sis" Allen says looking around while picking up our stuff. "Nothing" I say looking around for the guy I was talking to before. "Okay let's go have some fun book worm" he says. I laugh and help him with the stuff while grabbing his free hand with mine and walking towards the big floating activity.

The news caused an uproar online, especially among the Black Stars fan club. Although Iris herself confirmed that she was comatose for a year during her interviews on "MusicFest Tonight" and on DJ Song's radio show, it was still only her words. And she didn't elaborate much on her condition.

But now that her medical record was revealed for everyone to see, people realized the gravity of what she went through.

Those who were bashing her and accusing her of faking being in a coma and staging a hospitalization to generate publicity for her album had no choice but to shut up and retreat (for now). 

Of course, there were a few who didn't care about the concrete evidence and continued spouting conspiracy theories, but the Black Stars moved swiftly and suppressed these trolls with their numbers and unity.

Leading the charge against the bashers were CaptainBlackStar and iEatSlippers. They divided their army and swarmed against those haters online spreading malicious rumours about their boss. Directing the entire Black Stars army on which web pages to go was Monkeyface.

CaptainBlackStar: "Defend our boss Iris! Comrades, attack!"

"Aye aye, Captain!"

iEatSlippers: "Those who said that our boss Iris was faking her hospitalizations, where are you? Hiding like spineless cowards, I see. Come out, come out, wherever you are! Still not coming out? Hah! As expected, all evil-doers scurry away with tails between their legs as soon as they see my mighty slippers of justice!"

Whether it was her recent album and songs, her amazing performances since her comeback, her shocking whistle register, the incident with the Alarm Girls during her launch party, and the reveal of her medical record―more and more people wanted to know more about Iris.

However, the reactions to the incident with the Alarm Girls during her launch party still remained mixed. The harsher critics didn't approve of her violent response to the situation, especially since it was clear for everyone to see that she beat up the three girls until they fell unconscious. It didn't matter to these people that it was the Alarm Girls who started the fight first. What mattered to them was that the fight looked extremely one-sided and Iris didn't show any mercy to her fellow girls. They didn't even imagine what it must have felt like to be chased around suddenly by masked attackers wielding metal mic stands. To them, Iris should also face the consequences of violent behaviour like the Alarm Girls.

Of course, there were also many who supported Iris Long. They reasoned that if they were put in the same situation as Iris, they would also do the same…and maybe more. Survival was the most basic instinct, after all.

While all of these were happening online, Tang Yiyi left the hospital. Thanks to the consecutive media storms involving her artist, she was very busy as Iris' manager. There was no time to rest. It was her and Bright Summit's job to turn the situation into something advantageous for their artist. This was what they were good at.

Back in the hospital, Jin Liwei finally woke up.

The subordinate bowed and apologized. His expression remained stoic, but sweat beaded on his forehead.

"What the hell were you doing?! This is the private wing and you let someone take a picture―"

Jin Liwei stopped when a pair of graceful arms wrapped around his waist from behind. He felt his baby girl's body press against his back.

"Liwei, that's enough. Don't scold him anymore. It's not his fault."

"But―"

"Liwei...darling, please stop."

"Okay." He immediately obeyed when he heard her call him "darling".

She pulled him back inside the room. She nodded at the subordinate who apologized to her.

"I'm sorry I slept through everything," he said, kissing her head.

Iris looked at him with a serious expression on her face.

He began to feel uncomfortable under her gaze. "Baby?"

"You had your man follow me? Hm, darling?"

"Uh...I really think that you need a bodyguard. I know that you don't want to," he quickly said after seeing her narrowing eyes. "But baby, please consider it. I'm really worried about your safety."

She continued to look at him, but finally sighed. "I really don't want bodyguards but you might be right about my safety. Elder Sister Yiyi also mentioned it to me earlier today."

His eyes lit up. "Then?"

"Yes, I think I'll hire a bodyguard."

Jin Liwei smiled widely, relieved that she finally relented. "Great, baby. I'll help you."

"I want my own. Don't give me yours. I want to be my bodyguard's boss, not you."

"Alright."

Akio walks out of the cafe and looks at the night light turn on as he sighs and puts his hands in his pocket as he starts to walk on the sidewalk, looking sad as he remembers Sara's face and sighs

"Why did you let him go Mirai, It was his fault that Sara got kidnapped"
Akira tells Mirai in a calm tone 
"Well, that's not true, it was our fault he left the base in the first place"

as they were talking Sam walked towards them

Akira and Mirai hear that question as they look towards each other as Mirai smiles towards Akira and tells Akio 
"You know people when they have gone very far away from us then they become stars, like your grandpa"
"Then is Grandma a star as well?"
Akio asks Mirai
"No, Grandma is near us, For becoming us you need to go very far away, further away from anyone"
Mirai tells Akio 
"Oh, Then Will you also go far away from me mom?"

I got home as soon as the meeting ended to avoid spending any more time with Loren. when I got home, no one was there. Neither Adam nor Jacob. Where is everyone? Not even Lady Anna. I searched every room, kitchen and living area but they're nowhere to be found. I searched my phone to call Jacob then realized I didn't take it from uncle Wilson. I used our telephone and heard a phone ringing on the couch. His phone is here, this means he is hiding somewhere. So, I quickly changed into jeans and a T-shirt and started searching for them, taking each step carefully. I am sure they are up to something. When I slid open the door to the garden area, I was soaked into a bucket full of water meanwhile Adam and Jacob rolled out of the bushes laughing.

"You guys are dead now." I ran towards them and they steadied themselves on their feet to escape. 
"Why don't we have a hug?" I said, stretching my hands towards them.

"No!" They both shouted together and ran away.

We ran until we're out of breath and laid on the ground.

"You guys better be ready for the revenge," I said and stood up.

"Should we be afraid?" Jacob raised his head above to face me.

Adam chuckled and turned around lying on his stomach while resting his elbows on the ground. "You haven't taken revenge for the mustache yet."

"What mustache?" Jacob asked.
Adam said what he did and added. "She said she will  turn me into a pupa." They both burst into laughter.

"I know, she is not a revenge person," Jacob said.

I am still standing here and they are making fun of me. I took a water pipe which we use to water the plants and gush the water on them.

"Stop... It. It's cold." Adam yelled at me.

"I don't have clothes to change." This was Jacob.

I didn't think of it.

"You should have thought that before." I turned off the tap and threw the pipe away.

He held his shirt in his fist and stretched it out. "Now what?"
Where Adam ran inside, for sure to take a hot bath.

"I am not going to give you my clothes," I said and walked in. Took a bath and dressed in black leggings paired up with dark green full sleeves T-shirt covering till my knees. It's the third time I am getting dressed. 

When I came out in the living room, saw Jacob was shirtless drying his hair with a towel. His T-shirt was hanging on the chair's back.

"You are not supposed to roam half-naked in my house," I said.

He threw the towel at me and said. "Someone's being rude by not giving me clothes to wear."

"Go and ask Adam," I said and walked out to put the towel for drying.

"His muscles will tear apart my T-shirt," Adam said while walking out of his room.

"Both of you siblings are mean," Jacob said and sat on the chair oppositely, with his legs on either side and hands resting on it's back.

We chuckled at his words and I walked into my room to get something for him to cover. I took a blue T-shirt where 'Varsity Girl' was written on it and came out of my room smiling.

Lady Anna entered with some paper bags in her hands. "What were you kids doing?" She asked.

"Their fault." I pointed my fingers at them.

"Her fault." They both said while pointing towards me.

"No."

"Whoever fault it is." She said and turned towards Jacob. "You are not supposed to be naked in our house." She supplied and kept the bags on the kitchen counter.

She acts like a mother sometimes. 

I threw the T-shirt at him. "I am not wearing it." He said as soon as he read what was written on it.

"Tell her," I said, pointing towards the kitchen.

He narrowed his eyes at me and wore it. Just as Adam said, his muscles were exposed out of it not tearing though. We had our food and Jacob left not before changing back into his T-shirt. After doing our homework we went to sleep.

Adam slept and I was wide awake thinking about Loren just like the night when we first signed the deal. Why did he kiss me?? Er. I can never understand him. He has a different personality, in college like a good teacher. But in office a rude and stubborn moron as if he has a disassociative identical disorder. Idiot! This is too much to think. I threw tantrums in the air and turned around resting my face on the pillow until my lungs were out of the oxygen. Raising my head, I took a deep breath and stood in a sitting position.

I want to have a bath, it feels like warm water washes away everything. 

I laid again straight, staring at the ceiling. I spend a lot of time in the water today and I don't want to change my clothes for the fourth time. So, I stood up again and walked out to the terrace, maybe fresh air can refresh my mind.

The wind was cold and the sky was full of stars. I like watching stars. It's like they break out of the dark sky to see the silent sleep of the world under their light.

GLOWWORM

Stars shine bright high up the sky, 
Spreading its light making the world so bright. 
Though they cannot vanish the complete darkness of night, 
They twinkle to show the presence of light. 
A little creature GLOW WORM just like a star, 
Having a torch on its tail which sparks. 
Traveling from one place to another with its blazing tail, 
Stimulating it's flare burning murky veil. 
Kenning, it cannot evaporate the gloomy air, 
Faire it's glow calling others from the lair. 
They all glint together lightning up the bay, 
Shattering the darkness from the place they stay.

I stood there for a long time, coldness in the wind was freezing my ears and nose. Reluctantly, I walked into my room and laid heavily on the bed
Picturing the stars with my closed eyes, I fell asleep.

My alarm was ringing but I don't want to off it. Kept the pillow on my face, I tried to avoid the sound. My phone kept quiet probably snooze mode was on. And after 5 minutes, it rang again. I felt someone crawled over me from one side to another and the alarm was off.

Adam pulled the pillow off my face and said. "Why didn't you off it? It was ringing for 10 minutes."

"Ask Lady Anna to drop you." I sighed and turned around I don't want to to go to college.

"Have you forget?" He asked.

"Forget what?" I asked.

"Lady Anna isn't here. She went to her sister's place"

"When?" I turned towards him. "And without even informing"

"She specified you yesterday after dinner." He said. "Did you lose your memory?" and asked.

I wasn't paying attention to her words. 

"Get ready, I will prepare something to eat." I did my morning routine and prepared scrambled eggs along with toast. Adam had his food meanwhile, I packed a sandwich in an aluminum foil for his lunch.

I dropped him at the school and made my way straight back to home. I was cogitating about Loren while having breakfast when the telephone rang.

"Where're you? And why is your phone switched off?" Jacob said from the other side of the receiver.

"That, I forget to charge it last night," I replied.

"Why aren't you in college yet?" He asked surprisingly.

"Well. I am not coming to college today."

"Why not? Are you alright?" He started worrying again.

"It's nothing imp-" He cut me off.

"There is something I want you to know. So be here quick." He said and hung off the phone.

Why today?!

I took a long route to the college. The first class was already over which was chemistry and second was math. After that, there is a language class. So, I directly made my way to the language class. I'll not be facing Loren here. Jacob caught me in the middle of the corridor.

"It's not a language class. It's maths." He said.

"I know. I have some work in there-" He cut me again.

Let me finish my sentence. 

"Forget about your work. Come with me." Before I could protest, he dragged me into our class and held a paper in front of me.

"What is this?" I asked.

"Inter-college music competition." He replied, smiling.

"So?"

"So, I mentioned your name in this." He widened his smile while folding his hands back.

"Have you gone mad? How can I-" He cut off for the third time today.

"Stop getting mad at me. I know you're a terrible singer. It's just instrumental competition."

"I am worse at that too."

"C'mon you can play piano"

"I am just a beginner. I don't know anything to play more than twinkle-twinkle, London bridge, and some other poems. Cancel my name right now." I protested.

"I know. You're not a solo participant. You're just going to be an accompanist and I already submitted your name." He said.

I don't have time for this. 

"Of whom?" I asked.

"Of a violinist." He answered.

"And who is that?"

"Jeal."

Oh! 

"So that's the reason behind that grin," I smirked at him.

"Not at all. I am just exposing your talent. Be thankful to your knight"

"Yeah-yeah. of course."

Loren entered when the whole class was discussing this. He tapped a big book on the table to gain our attention. And we all silently took our seats.

Oh no! He is here. I cannot escape now. Don't look at him, Levy. 

I obeyed my internal voice and didn't raise my head from the book. As usual, he asks me to bring our notes after class. I took Afrodoide's help. she happily accepted to do this work and took the books to his office.

No way I am going to call him sir. Thick head! It's the second time he told that. What does he think of himself?

I cleared my throat and spoke. 

"Firstly, I'm not going to call you sir. I'm not your slave to do so. And secondly, I don't have a thick head." I protested. 

"Slave? Seeing a word by its abbreviation." He quirked a brow. "Your thick head has a little knowledge in it." 

This time he inched more close while the corner of his perfect lips shifted to a smirk.

"Yes, I do see a word by its meaning," I said, trying not to fall in his gaze.
