I'm writing this for sake of writing and not for contests or other ideas in mind because I know my level so if there any mistakes do forgive me. First of all, I would like to thank you. Thanks to the readers, who read my lack of writing; I have finished my fourth book! I'll always remember that.

As I said earlier, this is my fourth book, and I still don't think writing a novel is easy. I always feel this. Personally, I started to feel weak around the 150th chapter. It has not been easy to write since then. I thought it would be better to take six books from the beginning or divide them into two parts and take a break. 

This time, I wrote a series, but I couldn't handle it in the second half. I'm sorry about that. I used to post it on the day I finished my epilogue, but this work has been so hard that I had to take a day off.

It has been the most popular piece of my writing, and at the same time, it was the most regretful piece of work. After writing and posting, I always thought 'I should write something like this,' or 'I should try to develop something like this,' or 'I could write something more specifically here,' or 'I'd like to reduce that a little bit.' 

I work for a company, but I've tried to write, edit, and post it on the Munpia. It has not been easy. When I was writing my previous Master Hunter K, it was really easy to write because I had no job then. I think it was difficult this time because I was always running out of time.

The future news of this article I originally thought of about a year ago. When I wrote my previous novels, I used a theme of going back to the past, a time shift, but I've never written about a future foreseeing, so I made a decision to write this genre if I could. We had a contest in April in Munpia, so I participated in it with this novel.

The motive was a horror cartoon based on future news, which I saw when I was in elementary school. My memory was dim, but in the animation, the main character had a paper newspaper every day, and it had the future news. I decided to convert it into something that would be in line with the Internet news standard.

As you can see, I took the League of Legends rating except for the last two, and Editor and Publisher. I thought they were the sources that I'd take to the end. As the abilities grew, I conceived the idea of the character's power and assets growing together, and I wrote it on the basis of that, before the last two grades.

The last two rating scenarios, the U.S.-China nuclear war, and the rare cancer of his son, were actually must-not subjects in web fiction writing, but I chose them as subjects to showcase the power of the last two parts. In the first place, the main character was so strong that I couldn't pull the story out unless it was that special. It was not bad to finish at around a hundred eighty episodes, but I still had leftover material. So I tried to use it without paying any attention to my grades, since it was material that I would like to release, and a scenario that I wanted to use. I am satisfied, but I'm a little sorry to those of you who have dropped out on the way. 

By getting the last two ratings, the main character has a pure divine ability. Some of you worry about chaos or confusion at the end of the story, but it's just a part that I put in as a cautionary note that the power of this kind of manipulation is so strong that it could destabilize the world if he mismanages it. If the probability is not limited, he can pop his fingers a few times and destroy the world. The main character, Han Sang-hoon, has a pretty wife, a daughter and a son, so he will use it carefully.

From April to November... I feel relieved but sorry to have finished the series after more than half a year. I think I wrote it in my previous reviews that when I was in middle school and high school, I used to read genre novels, but I haven't read any genre novels in the ten years since then. A few years ago, when web novels appeared, I thought there was this new kind of novel, and I became a reader, and a writer, and then wrote four books.

I'm sure many of you remember the genre novels of ten years ago, but there weren't many contemporary fantasies of this kind at that time. Most of the time, I read pure fantasies, martial arts novels, and so on. So, I was going to write that kind of pure fantasy. It's been ten years since I came to the web fiction world, and I found that all the pure fantasies were dead, and there were only a fusion or a modern fantasy. Since the pure fantasy was not popular at all, I tried to write a modern fantasy to see if my writing would work or not.

That's how I have written three novels so far. Except for Master Hunter K, there has been a reversal of the order of host and guest. So, the next novel will go back to its original version, and even if I can't write a pure fantasy, it will go toward a fusion fantasy. Originally, I announced that I would release my next novel as a game fantasy. Due to the nature of the genre novel, I don't think I need to use the game format. So, I'm going to go to a fusion fantasy similar to the previous Master Hunter K.

Now, when I think about it, I think it's a personal achievement and a lucrative hobby. But now I've won a big prize after writing this novel, and I've changed my mind a little bit after getting too much love from you. It is no longer right to write with such amateurish ideas. I will reduce my stubbornness a little bit, and get closer to my readers with a little more professional writing, for the fun of my readers.

So, I'll return to you with the next novel, which reflects that aspect. It's something that readers might like more. In a month or two, after recovering my physical and mental strength, I'll be back after I'm finished with the idea of my next novel.

The winner of my prompt was a book that is now on hiatus. No other entries qualified. At the time I didn't realize that having votes was the rank qualifier. So my book was instantly disqualified.
Despite not making it past the car park, so to speak, I kept this story going. I had moved it to Wattpad and continued to post chapters there.
I entered it into a Wattpad community award, and had eventually won the award for Historical Fiction, but never received the prize for it. 😆
That's okay. Knowing that my writing was enough to be a winner in a judge's eyes was cool. It won over some quality stories as well. That was a prize enough for me.
After some time, I started posting the story to Tapread where it picked up read interest there. Then I got a ping from Islinda who liked the lone chapter I had left on the book page.  
This story has been a blast to write. I'm proud of what I've been able to achieve with it. I have no regrets of what I leave behind, as I have given my best shot.

Okay, I'm just here to b*tch a little considering no one thinks it's worth the effort at least go 'Wow!' at a 'Wow!' Moment like the latest chapter. If it wasn't for Liam Robert and FlowingEmber consistently giving fire stones everyday, this would be on-hold.

There are those who say it's shortsighted for an Author to write in order to please an audience, and to those people who say that I'd like to ask: "What makes you think I'd write stories on unrealistic expectations of doing it for the sake of writing?"

There are those amateurs who put the art of writing a story on a pedestal even though you need keen senses and a retrospective eye for things if you want your story to work out. A story doesn't just pop out just because a writer has 'passion'.

I consider myself a 'Prologue Master' precisely because I like giving inspirations on how certain gimmicks in stories can be put together, and love diving into my imagination for my own entertainment, but doing that wouldn't be able to write a story, nor keep it consistent. It is so much easier writing without the intent to be 'serious'.

Let me list a few story ideas from the top of my head: Xianxia meets cultivating robot, robot meets fantasy world, fantasy world meets zombie apocalypse, zombie apocalypse meets hero's journey, hero's journey meets evil protagonist, evil protagonist meets power of friendship, power of friendship meets Wuxia, and these are only a few.

The beginning of my writing hobby started with writing gimmick-y plot lines like that.

Though now that I voice out my complain (or at least write it). I kinda feel my own immaturity regarding this since it isn't like you guys are at fault for not supporting a story like this common Isekai.

In fact, whenever I try mentioning that I've written an Isekai to others, I always get the cold shoulder as the over abundance of trashy harem Isekai light novel fags has made the word 'Isekai synonymous with 'Power Fantasy'. Once someone writes a story that's an Isekai but NOT a Power Fantasy, those stories are forgotten compared to those trash...

I feel like banging my head on a wall right now at why did I start writing this story as an Isekai all those years ago... Why couldn't I be content with just a supernatural or LitRPG fantasy?

I'm also feeling regret in going on Haitus a bunch of times (even though unavoidable family issues popped up back then). Maybe... this story wouldn't be weighing on my mind if I'd just didn't write it with actual 'seriousness'... If I kept to my pace like others who never actually finish their stories or go over the 30 chapter limit, then I wouldn't be feeling bad when a 'Wow!' Moment fails to get response.

Also, the fact that no one bothers to give this story reviews sucks. I know my Sakura Is Reincarnated- Naruto Edition, is only liked because of the already established Anime character, and that all those reviews I get aren't positive, they are at least better than nothing at all... There's even comments every chapter on that story even though I only update once a week. My motivation is going downhill...

Anyway, what would you guys want in the next chapter? Seeing exactly what the... main character of an alternate timeline does, or just go back to the present where Sapphire has been possessed by him. I'm not sure on how to continue anyway...

This is a story I worked on ages ago that has been refined and edited by adding foreshadowing to events while also simplifying the power system better than before. This story can be considered a prequel to An Adventure Beyond Greatness as it takes place years prior to the events of that story.

Short Synopsis:
After retiring from the battlefield, my life became empty and lifeless. The regrets of my past haunt me in my sleep. Then a change occurred, a King from another world summoned me to fight for his kingdom, but I died even before I could give him my answer. Now, after a fake God allowed me to reincarnate (albeit imperfectly) with my memories intact, into a world filled with magic and swords.

Long Synopsis:
This is about a flawed protagonist who only knew to rely on others and not socialise who gets a second chance to change himself in order to live the life he aimed for in his past life. The narrator isn’t exactly trustworthy since it is purely in his bias perspective while other perspectives given by others fill in the blanks that he either leaves out or twists to suit the situation.

The story itself can be considered a parody of Isekai’s classic tropes which are given a sense of reality as time goes by. As there exists no ‘Demon Lord’, there is also no black and white, only characters opinions and counter-opinions throughout the story.

Whelp, I guess this is the end (for now at least). I remember back two months ago when I was writing my first work, the fanfic for Chojusen, I said something along the lines of  "I want to be known as the dumb dumb Author who finishes his novels and doesn't quit just because he "fell off..." And as I reflect on the decision I'm making right flipping now, I'm just as disappointed in myself as you guys. It's just, I'm not quitting because I fell off, rather, my lack of taking off in the first place is what's destroying what little motivation I have for writing this novel.

I don't know if you can understand what it's like to watch as the days go by and your work never makes any progress. What it's like to see other novels take off while yours is abandoned. Now, hopefully I don't offend any other authors on the site with words like the ones I'm throwing around right now, if your novel has taken off its more likely than not that you are competent as a writer and your work is deserving of its attention. I'm probably just coming off as a whiny bitch for being unsuccessful in my first venture as an original writer and to an extent, even I agree with that sentiment. It's just, I what to express myself in as open a manner as can be and realizing my frustrations through writing like this is what I feel helps.

I'm pretty sure I contributed in a large part to why my novel is so unpopular. I mean I started off with a message to everyone that it wouldn't be updating for a while and even after coming back I had to take another stop to go to Cuba. I give my own novels sub par review scores and even admit that I have no confidence in them. To anyone with even a modicum of logic, these are red flags and I'm not surprised that many people have turned away from reading.

However, for the last two or so months I've released almost 200,000 words and 112 chapters. And for the better part of those two months It's felt like I've been writing for no one. Sure the view counts update by the everyday and my collections count increase as well. But it's truly depressing to see only three or four comments per chapter; even though they are extremely appreciated. Honestly, if it weren't for the two or three people a see coming back every day — even if it is just to say "thanks for the chapter" — I wouldn't have made it for this long.

Even back when I was writing the other novel, where I would get things about the canonical story wrong or when I made a decision that didn't sit right with some of the readers, getting mean/harsh comments would be infinitely better for my motivation — and I'm assuming other authors as well — than just silence.

Well, that's enough of that nonsense so here's what I've decided to do. Writing this novel, even before I began publishing, is grating as I feel no confidence in my skills as an author and that has only further declined with how little interest the novel has amassed over the two months. It's gotten to the point where I literally write to meet the quota I set up for myself of 1 chapter a day and for bonus opportunities like power stone incentives. (Wait this is still rambling! Sorry...)

Anyways, the problem with motivation is more impactful than you guys can imagine as I literally know what to write next and how the story should progress, but just sitting before my computer and trying to type for what I've already doomed to failure causes distractions to magically manifest; like when you have homework and just so happen to find a dozen videos you'd much rather watch than do your duty. 

Thus, I'm deciding to not "drop" the novel and only put it on hiatus for now. Maybe if I become less whiny in the future and my career as an writer doesn't tank, I'll return to continue updating the story… But for now, I think I'll move on to enter in the webnovel weekly contests and write stories that gain an actual audience. If all else fails, I can somewhat confidently say that I'll return to this story eventually as I'm done with its outline and whatnot. The only thing I ask of you is to forgive me for wasting your time like so many other authors who don't finish their work and to remember that I'll eventually come back to finish what I started; maybe not now or in a year but eventually, I'll come to finish this story… 

P.S. I'll be writing under another pseudonym for a while, else the bad reputation I just created might come to haunt me if I do get successful. So, if you're still a "fan" of either me or this story, sorry you won't be able to find what I'm working on for now… (The characters I write might be dense and stupid, but I think this shameless move is the most pragmatic.)

Don't forget to delete your old reviews and give this novel new 1 star reviews. Though I'm shameless and cowardly, I'd rather not waste other people's time; at least not now that I'm discontinuing production for this novel. Hello, to anyone who still cares enough to read this. 

Firstly, I would like to express my gratitude to the people who gave me feedback on my novel and supported me during my short three-week run. For that, I am eternally grateful. 

I kind of disappeared out of the blue without saying anything because I couldn't take it anymore. It was stupid of me to do, but here I will be trying to list my reasons and I hope you can understand.

I began to write for WebNovel after seeing their advertisement for up and coming authors to make a living off of writing. I hate myself for being so naive. Looking back on it now, it was like falling for any other scam on the internet. Stuff like "Doctor's hate him because ... " and "Sign up to win ... " Etc Etc. 

As a twenty-three-year-old university student working two jobs, the only time I could fit to write was during the hours of 12 am and 5 am. It was literally killing me to publish chapters as I began to fall asleep in class, and my performance at work got a bit sloppy. 

But for the most part, I enjoyed writing the chapters because I loved to write. I loved to publish a chapter and stalk it until someone posted a reply. That moment when the first person said something meant the world to me. Because it meant someone cared that my story existed, and for this reason, I tried to push myself to put out more and more chapters. 

Things started to go wrong though, as most things do. Webnovel's feedback system is the most depressing thing. It actively tracked how many people had my novel in their collection and how many total views the novel had. However, the only number that matter was the collections. 

The thing was, these numbers were always bugged and never gave me a clear indication as to the scale of my readers. Aside from the usual comments from return readers, the number didn't mean anything. It was like running in one spot, over and over without any clear indication to if I was making any progress. It's horrible when the work you put in seems to yield basically no results. 

I was feeling euphoric watching my collections pass 100. You guys don't know the scale to my happiness. I basically woke up my whole household in celebration.

Then, in the author's discord channel, they confirmed that everything on the interface was bugged. Yep, talk about a slap in the face. 

To summarize ... I was and still am a hopeful about making a career out of my writing. But doing it on Webnovel is ill-advised. Unless that is if you are writing a fan-fiction or another cliche 'system' novel. In that case, I believe you'll find much success. 

Also, if you guys want to know the biggest reason for my departure from WN; in the search function, look up 'Da Contract'. It's the actual web novel contract. Even if you guys don't know the lingo its fine. Just take a look through and you'll understand my frustrations. 

The staff never really cared about us authors either. They seldom gave out prizing for contests and were hush-hush about even attaining a contract. But reading through it ... this thing is a slave contract. I kid you not. Anyone who is desperate enough to sign, I give you my condolences. But it's completely and utterly unbefitting of a professional "employer-producer" relationship. 

And the fact that tried to keep the contract under wraps ... they knew what they were doing.

Thankfully, a fellow author "ink bamboo" was quick to point this out to me. Otherwise, I would possibly be still slaving away here, with no end in sight. I probably would have hung myself if all my stress ended up culminating with being presented with this contract ... 

There are so many things I want to say, but I find myself more and more depressed as I think about it. An entire month of my life down that drain ... it feels bad.

I was told to try my hand with self-publishing on Amazon with Kindle. I believe it's more worth it for me to try there. If people buy my book and like it, at least I can get immediate feedback. If it doesn't work out... well, I suppose it just means I don't have the talent for writing.

Imperious Edge will continue, but not here. Not in this depressing hellscape. 

To my frequent readers, I am sorry, deeply and truly sorry that I have let you down. I can only hope you understand my choices. I often end my chapters with a bow, and to that, I give you my final respectful gesture as I sign off here. 

Perhaps it's asking too much, but I hope you guys would care enough to support me in my endeavours to becoming an amateur author. When I publish my first Volume, I will update this.
