Àine said, Tori squealed out of shock, Zevrij was speechless and Junior felt pure anger. The gash left a scar that looked as if their father spine was showing from the attack. "That night your father manage to blind the troll king in his right eye but... That only sent the giant into an unspeakable rage and he went full power, even then the troll had difficulty fighting your father. Eventually the troll went for your mother but your father stepped in taking the blow, your mother told me to run away with you. I ran knowing I could have help but your mother trusted me with your safety and so, I ran and never looked back." Alfred said but Zevrij spoke up. "Wait if you saved me how did I end up being with that filthy monster?" Zevrij waited everyone waited for an answer. "As I ran a sharp pain struck me in the back from the troll king I never knew how powerful a troll can be. Unconscious I was when I came to my son-" Junior slammed his hand on the table. "That's when I came to your aid because I sensed you was in danger and I saw the troll king with Zevrij. I told him to leave and will not interfere or come for Zevrij and he did so." Junior said and now Takashi spoke next. "I remember that also, we had to take him to my uncle Yamato house he said you wouldn't make it. He did and thanks to my uncle and that's when Junior told me he saw the troll king." "Look that doesn't matter we have to stop the Troll King he'll come for me and I'm sure fate has brought us together-" Suddenly the ground trembled greatly. "He's here." Alfred said.

Azel controlled the muggle government, creating laws that made illegal hunt wizards and witches, he also had it illegal to hunt muggles. Next, he started to kill some dark wizards and hypnotize important figures across the world, changing some events. There was no Wizarding World War or Second World War, he also started to slowly force society to accept magic. How? He created chaos and wizards would save many lives, making kids see wizards and witches as good people or superheroes. Azes also hypnotized some wizards and made them sign a contract, then he taught them his [Hypnotic Eyes] magic and they went hypnotizing muggles that were radically demanding the death of witches and wizards, they also would completely kill groups that hunted wizards and witches. For years, this dispute got heated, but then yesterday it simply got below zero because of Azes efforts. 

The world now knew that magic existed, but they didn't know the location of the magic schools. They know they exist, but they don't know the location and they can't enter, just like Area 51 but without the location knowing part. Why everything suddenly got below zero? Because Azes made all the wizarding and muggle be linker by a magical contract that they would accept each other and stop being pussies about it. How? Representatives of a region can sign a contract for the whole region and it will apply to the whole region. If the president of the United States of America sign a magic contract saying that all those who live on his states are slaves, then everyone will be bound by the magic contract of slavery. But why no one abused this to control the whole world before Azes? Because Azes created this method. 

So magically everyone stopped hating each other, their free will was removed from them and they simply forgot about the hate or fear they felt from each other. Azes did this because he didn't want a war to break out, of wizards against muggles so he got people representing the magic community and the muggle community sign a contract to stop the hate and fear, and it worked! How this contract worked was very simple: Those who had any negative feelings or negative thoughts about muggles/magic-folk would get their mentality altered by magic. Those who didn't have any negative thoughts or feeling about muggles/magic-folk would have their memories altered to make them believe that everyone didn't hate or fear each other. It took Azes years to create the contract and more years to have enough magic energy to change the world, he basically connected his magic contract with the magic energy in the air.

So the magic contract would work as long as magic exists. Azes could now finally rest a little. Azes was now on his manor in Paris, France. He had a small blue hummingbird on his shoulder, that hummingbird is a Will-O'-Wisp also mostly known as Brazilian Phoenix, this small blue hummingbird has the ability to create blue flames when flapping its wings. They went almost instinct but Azes got a couple on Azirius and they started reproducing and the species was saved, Azes patted the cute hummingbird as he thought if his decision was the correct one... He sighed. Since when he was so manipulative? The day he died by a Killing Curse while rescuing Marius' family was the day he changed. It was the day he started to think about protecting the world by manipulating it. He became a Dumbledore, but on a higher scale!

Talking about Dumbledore, he became Headmaster of Hogwarts, because of the Azes butterfly effect, he wasn't so famous but he still was famous around Britain. He suffered for some months after Grindelwald's death, but he moved on and got another lover. Azes went to their marriage as the priest. Oh, Azes legalized same-sex marriage because why not? Azes also changes some things such as the illegal system of magic beasts imprisonment. He took the Dementors from Azkaban, and even though Azes loves a lot of creatures, for some reason he hates Dementors. Like not a normally dislike, but like pure hate! Like they killed his whole family. So Azes created a small that would purify and destroy Dementors, he went on hunting Dementors and completely eradicated them from existence.

Azes didn't forget about the Death Hallows and the Founders Treasures, he already got the Slytherin Locket and Hufflepuff Cup, he discovered their effect and copied them. Slytherin Locket was basically the key to Salazar's laboratory down on the chamber of secrets, the person needed the ability to speak with snakes and the locket to open the laboratory so Azes went there, took the Basilisk, took all the books from Salazar's laboratory and left the locket on Hogwarts. Hufflepuff Cup's magic effect is an interesting thing, it can produce any potion if the ingredients are put inside the cup, it can increase its size like Azes' top hat to increase its surface area, and it also boosts the effect of potions by 2. Azes learned the enchantments and charms on these items and improved them, making it better than before and enchanting his own items. The cup was returned to the Hufflepuff family.

Now the Death Hallows... The Resurrection Stone, the Invisibility Cloak, and the Death Wand. 

Azes could go invisible at will, Azes doesn't use wands, and the Resurrection stone is something he doesn't like. Why? The same reason he doesn't like the Dementors. It feels... Unnatural for him. So what he did to them? He gave it to Newt. Newt already got the Death Wand after defeating Grindelwald, so after receiving the other items he became the "Master of Death."

Traditional Magic, lesser known as Earth Magic, is the oldest and purest form of witchcraft inherent to the Earth and the forces of Nature. It is undoubtedly the most popular form of witchcraft known to witches; however, it is also the most exhausting. This is mainly due to the fact that whenever a witch uses this power, they must exert their own energy, causing them to experience symptoms of dizziness, fatigue, and nosebleeds. Bonnie Bennett explained the limits of this power to Jeremy Gilbert as such: if a witch pushes too hard while practicing traditional magic, the magic would push back. Ultimately, if a witch pushes beyond their limits, the effects can be fatal.

History

The history of Traditional Magic dates as far back to the beginning of Creation. Traditional Magic is the energy of the Earth itself, and is the very essence which binds all things together. This form of magic is famous for drawing its energy from the natural world and may be used however a witch sees fit. Contrary to other forms of witchcraft, traditional magic does not violate the laws of Nature, but is simply a law unto itself that remains a mystery by scientific means.

The Great Divide

During the Archaic period (approximately 100 BCE) in Greece, the witches of the Greek community lived in blissful harmony with one another. During this period of time, it has been stated that the Travelers practiced Traditional Magic. However, after an extremely powerful witch named Qetsiyah created the first known The Immortality Spell, this controversial act caused the witches to divide into two groups: conventional and unconventional. The conventional witches saw the immortality spell as a violation of the natural law that all living creatures must die. These witches sought to border the limitations of magic by creating commandments that were almost religious in nature to which every witch should adhere. However, after a subgroup of witches, who saw the immortality spell as a revelation of divine potential, began to flout the commandments of their peers, a rift was created that caused the witches to enact a curse that would ensure their enemies could not practice witchcraft without fatal consequences.

Nature focused Magic

Furthermore, after the same witch who created the immortality spell failed to win the heart of her lover, Silas, she devised a plan to confine his soul inside of a supernatural purgatory that officially became known as "The Other Side". This purgatory was designed to imprison the soul of every supernatural spirit who died. While later supernatural creatures such as vampires, werewolves, and more were cursed to spend all of the eternity in a state of solitude where they were prevented from interacting with each other, the witches were not bound by this law, and were instead given supreme authority and power. Furthermore, the accumulation of all non-living witches on the Other Side became known as the Spirits. Together, the Spirits were known to possess an ethereal field of collective knowledge and power that could be accessed by any witch who called upon their assistance. This form of witchcraft became known as Spirit Magic. Unlike other forms of magic, Spirit Magic was highly dependent on the cooperation of the Spirits and could only be used as the Spirits saw fit.
At some point in time, the conventional witches sought to exterminate their enemies by calling upon the Spirits to cast a powerful curse that would prevent them from further practicing Traditional Magic. This curse was designed so that whenever these infidels would attempt to draw energy from the Earth, the forces of nature would turn against them by creating earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, and other natural disasters as a means to wipe them out of existence. These witches became known as "Travelers" as a quip for the fact that the curse forced these witches to live nomadic lifestyles.

The Travelers were constantly on the move, never allowed to remain in one place for too long out of fear that the curse would kill them. Fueled by anger and animosity, the Travelers killed Qetsiyah as they blamed her for their accursed condition. They also developed a deep hatred toward the Spirits who cursed them and the witches who channeled them. Determined to break the curse, the Travelers would spend the next two-thousand years as parasites known as passengers, where they would inhabit the body of other living creatures waiting for the appropriate time to break the spell. During the Middle Ages, a Traveler named Markos discovered that Nature had created mortal copies of Amara and Silas as a way to restore balance within the world due to the effects of their immortality. These creatures became known as doppelgängers and their blood had the power to reverse the effects of all non-Traditional spells, including the spell that had cursed his people. Knowing that the blood of the doppelgangers was the key to breaking the curse, Markos enacted a love spell that would draw the doppelgangers together. This way, when the time was right, the Travelers could use both the blood of Amara's shadow-self and Silas' shadow-self to undo the Spirit Magic that plagued every Traveler across the globe.

"Care to explain, miss White? As I remember, muggles aren't allowed here" Mour crossed her arms. 

"What I mean is, I am a mage but… For now, I'm not sure what my ability is" I explained. 

"Hmm. Interesting. Fine, take your seat, miss White" I let out a sigh. God I'm saved. I sat down and glared at my seatmate.

He looked at me back at just gave a dead stare then turned his attention to the teacher. 

"Ok, the last one to perform is you, lord Third" he stood up and walked in front of the class. 

"It's been only half a month, since I taught here. The first person who caught my attention is you, lord Third. The famous lord Third. Who has more than one ability. And the vice-president of the school. Care to share us your ability" Mour said and I could excitement in her eyes. 

"I beg for forgiveness, madame. For I can only perform one ability. Which is teleportation. Bit I can explain the rest of my abilities" he said. What the heck? Since when he this caring and soft?

He teleported some where around the campus, I guess. Then returned back in front of the class.

"That's amazing" Mour said and clapped her hands. Is this old woman have a crush on that jerk? 

"I have three abilities. First is the teleportation. I can teleport wherever I want" he explained. Too boring! I don't care about his abilities. I bet that I'm better than Him, hmp. I shifted my gaze to the window and waited again for the bell to ring. 

"Second is… Steal. I can steal your ability away from you and turn you to a total muggle" my eyes widened and I looked at him who is smirking at me. What the heck is wrong with his abilities? Gosh my career as the first female mage will end if I pulled his trigger. 

"Then what's the third one?" Mour asked. Everyone is pretty eager to know too. Does he brag about his abilities? No one seem to know his true colors.

"I'm sorry. I can't tell you the details. I can't perform it now anyway" he said and teleported to his seat.

"Does your eye have something to do with your third ability?" one of the students asked. 

"Nice guess. Yep. You're right" he said. I looked at his eye. The one with an eye patch. Now I'm pretty curious 'bout his true colors. I bet he's hiding something.

"I'm too boring to listen to, right, miss White?" he smirk. God knows how I hate his famous smirk. 

"Yeah" I rolled my eyes.

Finally! The bell rang! I grabbed my things and was about to head back to the witches lair to eat my late lunch. Good thing that, we only have one class this day. 

"Come to the council's office, miss White" said by the voice I hated the most. 

"What's the matter, famous lord Third?" I said with a matching courtesy. 

"I said, come to the office" he demanded. 

"Why? Did I broke any rules? Huh?" I said sarcastically. I hate how he treats me like we know each other. Besides, I almost get in trouble thanks to him. 

"Just go right away" he said. 

"I. don't. want. to" I said. 

"how dare you oppose me? Stefan have some matter to discuss with you. He ordered me to fetch you, female mage" God! He could just said that Stefan wants to talk to me. That would make the situation less complicated. 

"Fine!" I said and leave him behind. Well I still need to eat my lunch




I decided to eat at the mages lair instead. Because running way back at the witches lair will take forever. 

I rang the bell of the council office. Gosh! He should at least said where the council is located. Finding my way here took much more time than eating my lunch. 

The door opened and I saw Stefan, Third and another guy at the room, discussing something that I can't understand. 

"Oh, you're here, Alyxia. Come, have a seat" Stefan greeted me and lend me a chair. 

"Can she really do it? She seems weak and fragile" the guy said. Is he pertaining to me? Me? Weak and fragile? Oh no no no you don't.

"Yeah. I prefer Bella Storm than her" Third said. 

"I'm sure she can handle it" Stefan said and looked at me. He saw how puzzled I am so he began to explain.

"The school needs you, Alyxia. We are discussing here, who's gonna replace miss Samantha Klaima for a while. She had some urgent matter to take care. And she won't attend school for the next five months. Samantha Klaima is our school's secretary. The council is really important to the school. Without them, the school is a total chaos. So now we thought that you can handle her job. Samantha Klaima is a brilliant woman. She is ranked first at the witches department. I hope that you can accept this offer. This is your chance, Alyxia. You might find your true ability" Stefan explained. 

"So that guy must be the council president, Sec Daymon, then there is Third  who is the vice-president. Then Samantha Klaima is the secretary. So you're telling me to take her job?" I asked. 

"Exactly! So do you accept this offer?" Stefan asked. 

"I can find my ability by doing this, huh? Seems fair enough. I'm eager to know what I'm capable of. Hmm… Fine! I accept it. How hard can it be?" I said while rubbing my chin. 

"Uhm… By doing this job is a bit dangerous. But I think you can handle It" Stefan smiled. Oh no. I think I will regret my words.

That man is Duke Adrian Volga, one of the surviving children who were saved by Noblesse. He was also one of the first vampires to be transformed by Noblesse and the 3rd to reach the final class.
"So this is the famous hunter? She is quite strong." A female voice was heard next to Adrian
Adrian looked to the side and saw a black woman with brown hair, dressed in a long red dress.
This woman is called Laiane Parker and is a final class witch and is one of the oldest ministers who serve the Noblesse and the Lord of witches
"Yes, she is strong! But did you notice that freak in her hands?" Adrian asked with a grimace of disgust on his face
"Yes, she is a witch. But, her spiritual energy resembles that of vampires. She would be a great guinea pig for one of my magical researches" Leiane replied in an animated voice
Adrian winced as he remembered what kind of person Laiane is. She is a Witch whose motto is: The end justifies the means.
She is head of the research division of the city of Lukedonia and in her hands is the blood of most criminals in the territory ruled by vampires and witches.
She does sick experiments on humans, vampires, and witches. But the main target of her experiences is the Devils.
She was happy to experiment with the devils. She loves to hear the devil's screams of pain and terror as she cuts and tortures them slowly until they ask to die so that's where she heals their bodies and starts all over again.
Adrian knows that she is exactly faithful to Noblesse and only Noblesse, like many of the old witches who are still in the position of ministers.
All Adrian knows about the ancient witches is that they were saved by Noblesse when they were being held captive by the devils and this fact made all the ancient witches have more hatred for the devils and adoration for Noblesse than the vampires.
What happened to these wizards and witches, so they hate hell so much Adrian has no idea and doesn't even want to imagine.
This is also the reason that many of the ancient witches remain in their positions as ministers and do not enter hibernation or eternal descent. For these ancient witches believe that the younger generation does not understand the greatness of Noblesse and comes to the lord as a maximum authority, above Noblesse himself and that these old witches cannot allow.

"You attack directly, and I will cover you!" Laiane speaks with confidence
"Lightning!" She speaks by pointing her finger to where the hunter is and a blast of electricity is fired from Laiane's fingertip towards the hunter

Alana Frankenstein was slaughtering a group of vampires and witches who had been hunting her for days
Most of these vampires and witches are weak, at the upper class. However, the number of them is problematic, she was forced to use her dark spear.
However, by summoning her spear, she easily managed to slaughter most vampires and witches and even absorb some of them.
When suddenly a huge lightning bolt fell, towards her.
Alana quickly used a 5th layer spell to teleport away from the beam. However, when she appeared a few meters from where the lightning struck, a vampire appeared behind her and kicked her in the rib.
Alana flew a few meters and landed rolling on the ground. She quickly got up without losing sight of the vampire.
She teleported in front of him and swung her dark spear towards the vampire's neck. However, the vampire quickly summoned her soul weapon, which is a sword and shield, and blocked the blow of Alana's spear with the shield.
The blow was so strong that the surrounding ground was destroyed and a crater formed where the vampire is standing.
The moment the blow from Alana's dark spear stopped on the vampire's shield, he swung his sword towards Alana, who dodged the attack by teleporting a few meters back
"You are different from the others! Did I cause so much damage for a Duke to come and get rid of me? I'm honored" Alana said and smiled arrogantly
The vampire looked at her with an empty expression and appeared in front of her, throwing several blows with his sword towards Alana, who dodged all the blows and counterattacked by swinging his dark spear against the vampire who defended himself your shield
The two continued to attack frantically for several minutes until Alana's physical and magical endurance began to wear thin.
"That's the skill of her soul weapon she ---" Alana started to speak, but she couldn't finish, because, she was struck by lightning and fell from the cliff towards the sea

Alana opens her eyes in despair and finds herself lying on top of a bed.
"Was I captured? Damn it was my mistake not to notice the skill of that vampire's soul weapon! How the hell would anyone consider the ability that absorbs the enemy's spiritual and physical energy. This is cheating" Alana says frustrated
"Yes, Adrian has a very stolen ability! You are lucky that you were not captured, Laiane is not the kindest person in the world" A male voice is heard next to Alana
She summons her dark spear and points in the direction of the voice
"Who the hell are you?" Alana screams in panic
"Me? How rude I forgot to introduce myself! I am Raizel Freyer the Noblesse, the vampire who is above all vampires" Raizel speaks honestly without any arrogance
"What the fuck, I messed up" Alana replies with fear, because she had already heard the rumors about the terrifying being that is the Noblesse

Chen Zhao was too embarrassed to answer Fali.
"You seem busier here than in LA."
"I won't go out," Chen Zhao said.
"Just go. I hope that my man has his own career. I'll be the woman that's always there for you."
Fali knew that Chen Zhao would frequently worry about her feelings.
This was also why Fali liked Chen Zhao.
He would never force her to do anything.
Chen Zhao respected her opinions, so she would respect his too.
Moreover, a romantic relationship should never be one-sided.
For example, Fali was only able to come for a trip once every few months. There were also many uncertainties in Chen Zhao's work.
"Fali, really?"
"Of course."
"I'll be back ASAP."
Chen Zhao kissed Fali and then left in a rush.
Charlotte's car was waiting right outside.

One of them had thick makeup, while the other had a babyface.
Of course, Chen Zhao was not a sexist. He did not think that girls should all look clean.
A woman could choose what makeup she wanted.
Chen Zhao would not be disgusted by those with heavy makeup.
"Hey, would you introduce yourselves, please?"
"Cindy Claus," the girl with heavy makeup said. She reached out and squeezed Chen Zhao's shoulder. "You look quite strong."
The girl with a baby face said, "I'm Alyss Robert."
"Nice to meet you. I'm Chen Zhao. You can call me Chen."
"Are you our special mentor?" Cindy asked.
Special mentor? Chen Zhao turned to look at Charlotte.
He had no idea when he had become a special mentor.
"They've only recently entered the supernatural world, which they do not know much about. They don't have any teachers. Since they joined the Witch Society, I have been teaching them. I brought them here also because I want them to learn from you."
"Uh... I don't think they can learn much. I'm only good at fighting."
"That's great. They're combat witches. What they need to learn is the way you fight."
"Fine. If you think I'm suitable, you can follow me. By the way, where are we going?"
"New York Harbor."
Chen Zhao thought of something. New York Harbor was a popular attraction in New York.
It was the main method to go to Liberty Island, where the Statue of Liberty was. When Chen Zhao brought Yura and Cheryl here last time, they took a ferry from New York Harbor.
Of course, what Chen Zhao really remembered about New York Harbor was not its scenery, but the supernatural legends.
It was said that if someone was at the harbor at midnight, they would see the cruise to Hell.
This had also attracted many supernatural lovers to go and wait for the so-called Hell Cruise.
Most people would return empty-handed.
However, thirteen years ago, a supernatural fan organization gathered 38 members from all over the country to wait for the Hell Cruise at the harbor.
Among the 38 people, 37 went missing.
Only one of them was found, but the person was admitted into a mental hospital.
"The Hell Cruise?" Chen Zhao asked.
"Yes, the cruise from Hell. Have you heard about it?"
Chen Zhao gave a bitter smile. How would he not know?
It was a famous incident.
Even a layman would probably be able to tell the complete story, not to mention that he was in the supernatural circle.
"Is the Hell Cruise real?"
"Yes," Charlotte nodded, "actually, the Hell Cruise is a ghost ship. It's the Levakry which went missing 48 years ago. It would go around the Atlantic and dock at the harbor at specific times."
"Can I have more details?"
"Levakry was affiliated to Federal Shane's. It was a super-luxury cruise and served…"
"Say what's important," Chen Zhao interrupted.
"Fine. When Levakry went missing, it had 268 passengers. When it reappeared, that was already over 20 years ago. It was midnight, and a partying yacht with about a dozen people encountered Levakry which had suddenly appeared. The yacht was hit and sank, but when the search and rescue team found the shipwreck the next day, they did not find any corpses. Nevertheless, there were videos taken by the camera on the yacht."
Charlotte continued, "In the twenty years after that, Levakry has appeared multiple times at the harbor. The most famous incident, which you have probably heard of, is the supernatural event thirteen years ago."
"Is that real?"
"Yes."
"Wow, are we going to fight the Hell Cruise?" Cindy and Alyss seemed excited.
Charlotte glanced at them. They were new and fearless.
"In fact, the Witch Society has gathered people to fight the Hell Cruise in the past, but they all failed."
"Why? They couldn't find the cruise? Or lost to the ship?"
"They didn't find it. The most recent one was three years ago. The Witch Society gathered 20 witches. When we reached the harbor, we saw the Hell Cruise leave the shore. We planned to find a speedboat and chase it, but one of the witches suddenly said, 'Don't chase. It's filled with calamities.'"
"Filled with calamities? What does that mean?"
"Dunno. That witch committed suicide the next day."
Chen Zhao frowned. The cruise had forced the witch into committing suicide?
The Hell Cruise seemed more troublesome than he had thought.
"Can we see the Hell Cruise if we go there now?"
"The Witch Society has calculated the length of the Hell Cruise's journey. We can roughly know when it'll appear."
"Is it tonight?"
"Yup." Charlotte glanced at Chen Zhao. "What do you think? Are you confident?"


Chen Zhao can summon demons and see Death.

“Beelzebub, use your Gluttony ability to treat this patient’s anorexia.”

“Raymond, this old man wants to regain his manly function. You know what I mean.”

“Blackie, tell me honestly, when and how is this person going to die... What? You don’t know? You’re the Grim Reaper!”

“That lady wants bigger breasts, a prettier face, and a slimmer body. Wait... I don’t have any demons with these subordinate abilities yet. Seems like I need to make another trip to Hell.”"


[Two years and seven months ago…]

Amelia stiffened in her seat, listening as the footsteps approached her isle. She was in the town library that evening, having secluded herself on the upper level of the two-tier brick building to handle her own studies.
She willed her heart to reduce its heartbeat by taking deep, silent breaths. She had sat on the ground in between bookshelves, looking through the spaces between some books to identify who was in her section. She hoped that it was not Declan or anyone from his gang; they had left her alone for the past two months for some unknown reason. She was not curious to find out about it, glad that they had forgotten about her.
She heard the shuffling of books as someone placed them on the shelf, and soon, the footsteps receded. Amelia sighed as she slowly picked herself up from the cold concrete ground. She grabbed her books, deciding to move to a reading area that was at a far, inconspicuous corner in the library.
She deposited her reading material on the secluded table. After taking out her book and pen, she sat, resuming her investigation as to what was happening in Wolverstone.
Ever since the two incidents involving people turning into wolves, Amelia had developed suspicions regarding everyone in her hometown. During the first occurrence, when the wolf who had caught her trying to run away had transformed into a human, she thought her mind was playing tricks. However, when she witnessed Declan and his posse turn into wolves, she knew something was up.
Even though a part of her wanted her to stop, Amelia was determined to figure out what the town was hiding. It was the only way she could figure out how to get out of there without getting caught.
She had spent the past two months doing her research on werewolf creatures. It was hard at first to find what she was looking for because the town library had all that information in a secluded isle. She dared not ask the librarian to help her out; she did not trust anyone, and she was unsure of who to trust. Not even her parents knew of what she was doing, although Amelia could not depend on them for anything in the first place.
She had already gone through a number of titles; My Werewolf Mate, The Omega's Mate, Alpha and Omega, Rejected by My Mate, and such.
Amelia had wanted to hit herself when she realized that they were just fictional romance novels. She thought they would help her figure out what was happening in the town, and in a way, they did. She had discovered that when she found a large, encyclopedia-like book containing the history of werewolves in the secluded isle. It had been strategically placed at the bottom of a bookshelf, meant to be hidden, but not completely for those who knew what they were looking for.
Then Amelia began reading the book. It first began with the origin of the creatures. Regarding the origin, no one knew how they came to be. An author explained they came as a result of the Big Bang just like the humans and everything else around her. Another theorized they were God's creation that was believed to have been swept away by Noah's flood, but had actually survived through some sort of miracle; another one was similar to the previous theory, but stating that the universe brought them to life; whereas another expressed that they were all a manipulation of dark powers. As in, forces of evil were responsible for their existence, created and manipulated to bring mayhem to humanity.
And apparently, the same theory applied to witches and vampires. Amelia had doubts believing that they existed, but with everything she had witnessed, she was ready to accept it as fact.
It was part of the information that she had come across in the books. She went forward to figure out the hierarchy of werewolves. Alphas were the leaders of the group (or pack, as they would call themselves); the betas followed second in command; the thetas and the omegas fell in line with the rest of the werewolf members. There were a lot of further details that Amelia deemed unnecessary. Like food patterns, eye color, mane color, and such. Fortunately, the book had illustrations to show her exactly what she was dealing with. She even spotted an illustration of a wolf that was similar to the one she had encountered in the forest.
Amelia saw it being information overload. Nonetheless, she pushed herself to learn all she could about the werewolf community for the months that had passed. She got to learn that they could live for centuries as they aged slowly and that they shared similar characteristics with ordinary wolves. That included a strong sense of smell, sharp eye vision, and an ability to creep up on unsuspecting prey. 
It explained how that person was able to find her when she had tried to run away.
What made them different from ordinary wolves was that they were bigger in size, and a lot stronger. They even had the ability to heal, deeming them indestructible, which Amelia did not like.
A lot of pages later, the book went on to discuss witches and vampires.
'Strange', she thought. It was a book of werewolf history. Why would it include witches and vampires, assuming they existed?
Still, she read. She was confounded when she discovered the three species used to live together in a community-form of settlement. Vampires and witches could also live for many centuries without aging, just like werewolves. Furthermore, they had the power of telekinesis, strength and speed. Witches possessed a variety of powers, each with their own, with a few able to levitate, and it made them more powerful than the other species.
The book went further on to describe accounts of the species' sightings reported by humans of werewolves transforming and vampires drinking the blood of their prey.
Furthermore, there was another text regarding their possible sighting areas, stating that they could apparently be found anywhere within the world. When they were growing in large numbers, some humans discovered them and started killing them. This forced them to disperse during the beginning of the eleventh century. Many werewolves moved to the Americas with a couple of witches, choosing to reside in forested areas.
'Like Wolverstone', Amelia made the connection. She felt so sure about it. What also astounded her was how no one had picked up on other immigration settlements ever since the eleventh century. Or, did the creatures find a way to hide that bit from the humans?
Others remained in the European continent, and they were vampires and witches alike with a few werewolves staying behind. Part of the witch population moved to Asia, Africa and some areas in Australia.
The three continued living in harmony, even when they were far apart from the rest of their kind.
'So that is it, huh?' Amelia thought to herself. The book had so many pages. Things seemed to get boring with every page that she flipped, and so she was sure it would be irrelevant to continue reading the book. Also, it was getting late, and her parents would question where she was the whole time; she did not want to deal with her parents' attitude in the evening.
Amelia sighed, moving to stand up. She went to close the book, but the ceiling lights of the library started flickering on and off. Amelia went to touch the book again, but the lights decided to go off completely at that moment.
She wanted to curse out loud at that moment. There was nothing but total darkness in the library. For a second, she thought she heard a chair creak, and that increased her want to be out of there. She soon heard the wind blowing in the room, not making things better for her. It seemed to reach where she was, and she heard the pages of her book being flipped as a result.
'Nothing like complete darkness to play with a person's mind'. She thought a ghost was there with her, and with everything she had read, she felt unsure of what was real anymore.
The lights flickered back on. Amelia quickly turned to check if someone had approached her, and she sighed in relief when she spotted no one. She looked down at the book as she went to close it, but the title on the page made her stop. Her eyebrows furrowed as she stared at the text.
The Prophecy.
Amelia looked at the page with an incredulous look.
'Of course, there is some prophecy in here', she thought, rolling her eyes at the ridiculousness of the situation.
She decided to sit back and read the title's contents. She decided it would be the last thing she read before she left for her home.
'In the late 1400s to 1500s, a prophecy came to the werewolf community in England. At that time, the ruling alpha was Henry Wolverstone. A seer showed him the future of werewolves, and he was frightened when he saw it. In the vision, he saw numerous dead bodies of his kind…'
Amelia's eyes widened at the text, but things were not over yet. Apparently, the prophecy foretold that witches would be the werewolves' undoing; it did not explain how and what could be specifically done to stop it from happening. Amelia went on to read how the alpha took measures against the prophecy by ordering every werewolf to kill every living witch they ever encountered. Of course, the werewolves were hesitant and wanted to know why their ruler had made such an order; he disclosed the prophecy to them, having every werewolf follow his command. He even ordered the killing of anyone who came in their way, not caring whether they were a human or vampire.
And to demonstrate his will, he had his wife hunted out of their home. The woman was a witch, and she was pregnant at the time with his child. It sickened Amelia how easy it was for the woman's husband to make her flee like that. How sadistic could the person have been?
'Something doesn't feel right', Amelia contemplated, feeling some kind of loss. She sensed that there was something else; something that was not disclosed in the text.
She continued reading, seeing how the text made every witch look like a villain in front of the reader's eyes. Amelia perused through the pages, skimming through the titles that flashed in her sight. There were so many accounts of witch killings. Some even had historical pictures that were in black and white. Others had warnings about graphic images, and Amelia flipped them to see grotesque images of witches' stomachs ripped open with their intestines out. Amelia was disgusted by how the text portrayed the proudness of the witch killings.
'Hope they went to hell', Amelia thought.
The witches had decided to fight back, causing an uproar in the werewolf community. They eventually declared war on each other, but the werewolves remained victorious. The pages continued giving accounts of how the werewolves continued searching for and murdering the witches that had gone into hiding as the years passed. Famous witch burnings such as the Salem Witch Trials were also mentioned, and the werewolves had a hand in it.
Amelia was angry as she perused the pages. It was at the end of the chapter that a new chapter began with the title, 'Famous Werewolves Around the World.'
Amelia did not care about that. She was still reeling from the information she had digested. She could not believe that was the end of anything printed regarding The Prophecy. She perused through the book's table of contents, trying to find anything similar to the witch's killings. However, there was nothing else.
She went back to the witch killings section. The last one made her frightened for some reason, because it occurred in the year 2006. The section concluded with words that speculated the werewolves had completely diminished the witch community.
Amelia quickly closed the book, seeing she had read enough. She returned the book to its shelf and rushed out of the library, feeling frightened after all she had read. She looked behind her every now and then to see if someone was following her, because for some reason, she felt eyes on her back.
The book had affected her. Amelia could not point out why she felt emotional after reading about the way the werewolves and witches had treated each other over the past centuries. She was not even completely sure if everything she read from the book was real. However, something told her it was all real.
She just hoped trouble would not follow her as she made her way home.
