This is a book of poems about everyday life

I didn't expect my poems to get such a high number of views.So thank to everyone who read my book and gave their love.
I started writing this book of poems one year ago but I was scared no one would like them so I did not do anything with them. When My friends told me they loved my poems it gave me confidence. I started writing book on how I felt everyday but then I decided to write poems on how others would feel. So I would put my mindset on how others would feel and the different emotions crossing their minds.
It could be losing a loved one or dealing with the current pandemic. It could be just the weather, holiday or depression.
It was rather easy to write poems on other felt because I would sometimes feel this emotion or see others feeling different emotions everyday so I would sorta study them and write a poem. I would ask a person about their day and write a poem based on the feelings I am getting from their story.
My family would sometimes say that I can take any story and literally make a poem that perfectly fits how they are feeling that day. 

Listening to songs also helped when I am writing my poems. The type of music I listen to affects the way my poems come out as well. If it was a sad song then the poem would come out sad like. If it happy music then it would be a poem based on happy emotions. If it was a poem about young love or unrequited love then that would be what my poem would be about. Everything and everyone around me has influenced how my poems have come to be.

Another way I write my poems as well, is when I watch TV series, k-dramas, c-dramas, j-dramas and movies. These let me get into the characters emotions and I write out their story into a poem.

Just wanted to share some of the poems I was writing. Hope y'all like them.

It's morning and since I had nothing to do, I decided to start writing poems again. Doing calligraphy was easy because Lu Ming taught me until I was professional. Our calligraphy looked alike though. Like really alike. 

As for the art that I painted, I gave it to Hao'er and told her to hang it up in the room. My room was small, but I didn't quite mind. I loved that it was quiet and peaceful here. There wasn't a lot of commotion going on. This life was different from the fast-paced world of China.

And perhaps because of the plants I was growing, the room became even smaller. The plants I grew were herbs. The herbs were helpful in many ways. They give off a fresh smell like fresh air. Whenever you inhale the scent it would help clear your mind. It also helps clear poisons that may be in the room. And if I'm ever desperate for a cure, I can just grab some from my room immediately.

These are just precautions to keep me safe. I want to go back badly, so I have no choice but to be overly cautious. I need to last a year here and I can go back. 

Outside the Winter Court, Prince Wu was standing looking at the court.

"It's empty."

"Your highness, when Concubine Xiu just came, Madame had given her the same amount of guards and maids she had given to the other concubines, but she rejected it. She said her court is small and can't fit so many people in there. She also said that she likes the peace of the court, so the Madame should take back her people."

"Are you dumb?"

"Your highness, I'm not finished yet. Concubine Xiu also said that if Madame doesn't trust her and thinks she will harm you, the Madame is more than obligated to have spies. So the Madame sent spies, but after a month, all they reported was that everyday she did things that maids did or, that she did things that the normal woman didn't do."

"The only suspicious thing is that she cultivates. The spies were unable to tell what her rank was, but she seemed experienced is all. The Madame had questioned her about this, but she said..."

"What?"

"If one day she got framed, she can run away."

This lady is straightforward is she not. After a while, a piece of paper came flying out the gate.

"Hao'er, you don't need to chase it, I'm going to throw it away anyways."

"But Sis Ling! It was such a good poem! Why are you throwing away such good poems? Nobody will ever get a chance to admire them again."

"Hao'er, I can write as many poems as you want. Just ask me and I will. These are not any important poems. Besides, there are so many on my desk already that there is no need to chase one that ran away."

"Alright." Hao'er was sad about that poem, but her lady was right, there were hundreds on her desk already.

The piece of paper that flew was caught by Prince Wu who was about to throw it away, but didn't after hearing what the maid said. He looked at the piece of paper and saw the poem,

And even though it's hard
And I may struggle through it all,
You may see me struggle...
But you will NEVER see me fall

It was such an inspiration poem, quite different from all the beauty poems. A poem fit for a uplifting someone's mood. He thought to himself, if she has many more good poems in there and plans on throwing them away, he should keep it, he is her husband whatever they own is his.

With that thought in mind he entered the gates. There was no one to announce that he had entered the building because there were only 2 people living in the court. The master and her servant. Upon entering the entrance he already what he wanted.

He had only wanted the poems that were unwanted, but he saw the beauty, too. It was hard to stay away from her. He knew he should be on his guards instead of thinking of how to make her his, but she looked vulnerable in that moment for some reason.

"Your Highness! This servant apologizes, the lady had just fell asleep."

"In the morning?"

"Last night, Mistress Xiu couldn't sleep, so mistress stayed up doing poetry and art."

"Hao'er, who's here?"

"Mistress Xiu, the prince is here!"

Hearing that, Zhao Ling immediately came out of her doze. She thought the person causing commotion was Zixie, but it was the prince. In her thoughts, 'Why is he here?'

"Your Highness, is there something this concubine can do for you?"

"Your poems..."

"Oh. Did you want them? I'm not sure which one you want, so you can have Shao pick one."

"All."

"How are you going to carry them all?"

Prince Wu waved his hand and all the paper full of writing disappeared from her desk.

Hehe... I actually forgot that this prince has a storage that can carry lots. Zixie even told me. Well, now that he is done with whatever he came for, hopefully he can leave now. I want to protect chastity. Not only that, I want nothing to do with the prince. I'm still trying to form a plan to get the second lead's attention. The more I have this prince's attention, the less planning time I have. 

"Your Highness, now that you have what you want, I'm sure you want to leave now. After all, you're a busy man."

"All the others send me gifts everyday trying to get my attention, but you haven't tried one bit. I wonder why?"

"Eh?"

"You should know what I'm talking about. After all aren't concubines woman who does whatever they can to get a son to live. Giving birth is something they are all proud of, yet, you give no effort. I want to know why."

"There's no reason. Your Highness is a busy man and seeing that the other concubines are already knocking on your door, I see no reason why I should try to attract attention when the others are already trying for me."

"Hm?"

"Your Highness, I'm sure you are already annoyed by the fact that they are always giving you nutrition everyday, so that's why I didn't give you any gifts. And I'm sure you hate fragrance bags."

"You seem to understand my life quite well."

"Not at all, I am merely guessing and making decisions on my own."

"Still, you send nothing to me."

"Your Highness, even if I did, you would have told Shao to just throw it away. It would then hurt my feelings and I would feel like I just wasted my energy on something stupid."

"Stupid?"

"I don't mean it in a bad way. I am saying I would feel stupid for trying to get your attention when you don't love me at all. Not only that, you are about to have a wife soon, so I'd rather not be a thorn."

Prince Wu, then teleport to his room with Shao by his side.

"She doesn't understand me what I was trying to get at."

You Highness, she was only saying some true things. Seriously some true things, why are you brokenhearted at things that even you know about.

Zhao Ling always wanted nothing more than to live a peaceful life independently. However, on a fateful day, she somehow gets transmigrated to the the past. Not any normal ancient civilization though. One that uses spiritual powers. Zhao Ling wants to do everything she can to just go back to her time, but yet, she can't.

Somehow, she came to regain memories and started to pursue through all kinds of troubles to finally someday have everything go back to normal. Wei Qiang, her husband has lost his memories, but he stays stuck to her no matter what. Many kinds of troubles come and Xia Lin solves them with triumph.

On a fine day, Xia Lin's ex-boyfriend comes to greet her. Xia Lin had been with Xiao Qiang for the day showing him the modern world. 

"Hey! Ling Ling nice to see you again. Want to-ahh my eyes!"

Xiao Qiang pulled her into a deep kiss in front of her ex with a triumphant smirk that seems to say, "Hmph! I win."

At a party, in the restroom, Xiao Qian pulled her into a kiss.

"Xiao Qian, we are at a party."

He pulls out his sad and cute puppy eyes, "But all the men were staring at you."

"Sigh... What am I going to do with you. Your too unfair Xiao Qian."

After Xia Lin came back from work, she found that Little Tan was missing.

"Honey, where is Little Tan?"

"I sent him to spend time with Father Liu."

"Wh-mph!"

Xiao Qian pushed her down to the bed and started to kiss her. "I need time with you too."

So.... I found out you can make a grilled cheese sandwich with mayonnaise. 

 My back is all sunburned from pulling grass and stuff. Like my left shoulder and right shoulder blade sting. It's not to bad though. I remember this one time I had severe sun burn. Like my skin was peeling off and It hurt whenever my skin came in contact with something. 



Anyways, I've been trying to think of ways to make my relationship better. I just realized that saying "I love you" everyday doesn't  mean much. I really I want to get something for her, but she doesn't want anything. I also know that material things are not really great at expressing your feelings. So I thought " I can do or make something for her."

 Though, what could I do? I mean I have a few things I am good at. Maybe I can write how I feel then give it to her. Not a love letter, but just expressing what I think, feel, believe, and value. I could also write a poem. Maybe a few poems? A book of poems? That actually sounds pretty good. I already have a few love poems written with her as my inspiration. I could just write all that down and make her read it. Then keep adding poems to it over time. Though, I don't know if I should post it online. I mean, what if someone else steals my work? Then again, poetry is art and art has to be appreciated. There is no way anyone will appreciate art if it's locked away. 



So yeah. Maybe I should start posting up my poetry. Would any of you read it? Does anyone even read this? Currently my journal says over 3 thousand views, but do you guys really read this journal? Or do you just skim over it? Do you just get bored and forget? Then go on to delete my journal from your library? Anyways, I just want to see if I have actual readers. So if you've really read this. Could you make a comment?

As we go on living we tend to face certain realizations. That some comes in the right time. While others comes to late. In which there's this one point in your life were you tend to neglect all the facts presented to you. Because you are blinded by a perception you thought what's right. Which what happened to me. I overthink to much instead of taking a chance. I always think that what comes next would be a tradgedy. Even though we can't really predict it. I know I can never foresee what comes after the choices I make. Yet I make this assumption that nothing would work out. That everything would just go back to the same things they were. That's why I fail to act. Because I choose to stay silent. To stay neutral and quiet. When my parents were fighting I should've been the voice and reason to stop me. Cause of my own cowardice so many good moments have passed that I could've not happened if I just choose to act. Certain events or maybe people is what leads us to realizations. In my case it was this. That one talk with John as I get discharged in the hospital. 

"What was that for?" I said as I sat on the floor after John punched me. 

"That's for being an idiot" 

"What do you mean?" 

"You really don't see it don't you. All this time after all those moments with her. I don't know if you really have amnesia or your just faking it but can you give me a reason why I should not beat you up right now" 

"What is this all about?" 

"You and I both know the reason. Quit acting stupid. It's about Ana obviously" 

"Huh? What about her?" 

"You're really clueless aren't you. Isn't it obvious. She loves you. But what are you doing to her. You're hurting her constantly. But here she is. Coming back here again and again visiting you. She maybe forgetful. But why give her the same pain again and again. The pain that I know you feel and as well as me." 

"What do you mean?" 

"The pain of not being remembered. Yeah maybe after some she recognizes me. But that doesn't mean that I don't have to convince her that I'm his childhood friend and I've grown up. Don't you see none of us have it easy. But still we endure for Ana. because we all want her to be happy. That's why her parents let her go with me. Because all this time even Ana constantly forgets you. She has been looking for you" 

"Why?" 

"Because she loves you. Everyday she asks and wishes to meet the person who wrote all of those poems for her. That's why her parents let her. Then we meet you again. Which made her happy every time she is with you. Yet your too dumbfounded to even realize that" 

"I can't follow" 

"You see after they went abroad to see some doctors. Her parents said that almost everyday Ana beats herself up because of his disorder. But everyday she becomes fine after reading your poem. All those seven years you gave Ana strength but we were just there to support her physically. But mentally it was all you. I don't know what she feels about your poems. All I know is it what encourages her for all of those years" 

"But how is that possible?" 

"I don't know either but it sad for to say this. But Ana loves you. And I don't know what's your reason for doing this to her. For hurting her. Everyday she smiles as she visits you thinking you'll remember her. But here you are amnesia or not. Why should you give her the pain of not being remember? What right do you have for you to do that?" 

"What have I done?" 

After everything John said all I was able to do was sob on the floor and beat myself up for being an idiot. I was to blinded by my overthinking that I never saw things clearly. I always looked down without seeing what's in front of me. Which was all this time her. 

"I'm sorry I don't know what to do now?" 

" If you are really sorry. Then don't apologize to me. Apologize to her." 

After that meeting with John. Everything becomes clear. But there's one thing that I'm not sure of. Am I too late now? After getting discharge I texted Ana wanting for us to meet. I called her several times but her phone cannot be reach. I went to the institute she's been staying in but she's not there also. John also told me he doesn't have a clue where she is. Because her phone is off he can't locate her destination. As I search for her. So many thoughts are rushing to my mind. So many ideas and what ifs about what might happen. Again my negativity is swallowing me. I'm running desperately calling out her name. Not minding all the people that I've bumped into. Because the only thing I'm concerned about now is being able to see her. To be able to chase and find her. I was exhausted from running around looking her. 

Little did I know my feet had lead me to this particular place. A special place where all of this started. That same bridge near my high school. I stared off over distance. Thinking where could she be right now. Thinking of how much I've hurt her from doing all of those things to her. On how much effort she exerted to care for me even if she doesn't fully remember me. What have I done. I was on the verge of crying until I was pulled out from the darkness of the thoughts. All of a sudden all I felt was a tackle. The next thing I know I was on the ground. Because someone tackled me. 

"Hey you!! I don't know what's up but don't think of jumping live" 

When I came to I saw her. Then I didn't think of anything else 

"Found you" 

Then I just kissed her. After that she just went on and slapped me. 

"Hey what's the big idea. We-we-we just meet do how dare you kissed me" 

Then I laughed and hug her tight 

"Now your hugging me. Just because your sad that doesn't mean you can get away with this I can still sue you for sexual harassment" 

"Hahaha sorry about that. Here let me help you up. By the way the name is Joseph" 

"Well your weird but the name is Ana" 

"Nice to meet you again and again Ana" 

"Huh? Your weird" 

"Maybe I am but it's the way things are" 

After that we walked together. Which is weird enough because for her I was just a weirdo who kissed and hugged her. I walked her home. And the next morning we meet again but this time she remembers me. 

"About yesterday I'm sorry" I said to her. 

"Well don't worry I don't remember it quite well so it's fine so what's this about" 

"I just wanted to say to things" 

"What are those?" 

"First of all sorry for pretending to have an amnesia and for hurting you again and again for the past few week" 

"It's fine what you did was wrong but I'm glad you don't have amnesia because it's hard to forget the ones who are important to you. But what's the other thing your going to say" 

"I love you" 

Then she blushed and become all jumpy and nervous 

"Huh? Wha-what do you mean" 

"It's simple since the day we meet I cared for you. For the seven years we have been apart I've missed you a lot. And for all those times I always have wanted to say to you this. I love you Ana" 

"Are you insane? Maybe you really gain brain damage?" 

"What makes you say that?" 

"How can you love a girl who forgets you everyday?" 

"I don't know" 

"Exactly" 

"But I just do. Even if she forgets me I will continue to love her then remind her that she loves me too." 

"What do you mean by all of that?" 

"That from now on. Everyday. Every moment. I will remind you. That you may forget me or us. But I would never do that. Because I love you. And I'll do what ever it takes to everyday convince you that you love me too" 

"And you think that would work" 

"Honestly I don't have a clue. But who does really. Who knows what can happen next. All I know right now is I've miss so many chances that I had. But this chance is something that I want to take. That's why know this. That I Joseph loves you and am willing to redo our first meeting again and again for you" 

"I don't know what to say" 

"Just say what you feel" 

"Then I guess it's a pleasure to meet you again" 

"Yup a pleasure indeed" 

After that we just talked a lot basically we had fun and finally I did what I always wanted to do I choose to be happy.

This was only one the few poems I've written happily. Maybe the first one that is corny. I made her read this and that was the first time she also said she loves me after everything that has happened. I don't know what fate will bring. Nor what lies ahead on our path the only thing I know is from here on forward. I'll only choose one thing. That is happiness all the way.

A love story about a guy with hyperthymesia and a girl with short term memory loss. The guy has a disorder that makes him able to recall every event in his life. The girl on the other hand got into an accident his temporal lobe got damage so she is unable to attain short term memories. As the plot continues the main character Joseph will keep on trying to make Ana remember her. John is Ana's best friend. Marie is the first love of Joseph. They will be the hurdles at first. Then Ana's disorder worsens she will forget everything. For years they'll be separated and when they meet again. Joseph will redo and try if Ana will remember her. Then in the end they will create a sort of journal and video. By doing so Ana will remember Joseph through what Joseph write

After that we just talked a lot basically we had fun and finally I did what I always wanted to do I choose to be happy.

Roses are red violets are blue
Without you
All I'll feel is blue
For me there's nothing else better to do

Except stare at you
That's why as time flew
Can we always start a new
A begining of a new page with me and you

Fighting against everything
Never yielding 
No matter what is coming
We just go on pushing

Through every adversity
We go through every possibility
Even with negativity
There lives possibility

That's why roses are red violets are blue
Come with me and we shall continue
A story that always ends with a new
And know this every time I love you

This was only one the few poems I've written happily. Maybe the first one that is corny. I made her read this and that was the first time she also said she loves me after everything that has happened. I don't know what fate will bring. Nor what lies ahead on our path the only thing I know is from here on forward. I'll only choose one thing. That is happiness all the way.

I write because I'm good friends with words,
Long since my childhood they have been with me through all my thick and thin.
Through my summers and my winters, through my spring and my autumns
Not that the others are strangers,
Neither the canvases betrayed me
Nor that the lenses left my side...
But still , they are not more than acquaintances.
I write...
I write because I feel as a whole
My words make me complete.
They stand for me , they talk for me.
When everyone leaves, they stay...
They have always stayed to uphold me.
When it feels like the end, and everything fades away...
I'm left with my words,
My statements and lines.
My poems and stories.
My rants and letters.

You see, I'm an introvert and it's very hard for me to express myself openly. I have trust issues and I felt that sharing your problems with others would just add on to their problems and that it will burden them . Although, I know better now. Expressing yourself to others and sharing how feel with others won't burden them with anything. It will give you relief and make them feel worthy. They will be happy to be your safe place. 
I started to write poems and stories when I was eight; being very shy as a kid I used to write a lot. Writing down my feelings gave me happiness. My diary was my very first friend, one who would never judge me but will always be there to listen when I pour my heart out. A very wise woman once told me that, there would be times when I may feel very lonely between people and won't be able to figure what I want. At these times, I'd find home in my words, in my writings. When everything around me gets darker and the reality starts to bite, I tend to write stories and create characters and weave a beautiful, happy story with my words. I'd give it a happy ending, though I know that not all stories don't have a happy ending; but we read to escape from the bitter reality don't we? So, why not fill the stories with happiness and laughter and let it's end give the keen reader a sign of contentment and fill his/her world with sparkles, though it maybe for a couple of minutes. These good hours that he/she would invest in a good read would leave a little smile on their everyday gloomy faces. 
After reading the whole series of Harry Potter I was aspired to be one of their kind. I even put the protective charms outside my room, to keep away all the evil and I believe it sort of worked. I grew up reading Shakespeare, Conan Doyle, Ruskin Bond, Agatha Christie, Jane Austen, William Wordsworth, John Green, Lemony Snicket and many such marvelous writers and poets. Though one may not be able to create stories or write poems, one can always entertain themselves by reading the enriching literature that lets you explore the world, without having to move your feet.

Something I look forward everyday,
When I was a child,
But now I am afraid of it,
Now, the only thing I look forward everyday,
Is to go back being a child,
Impossible when you Think of it!


At least, can I be an onion?
Why you may ask me, Right? 
It's just a veggie, Right?
But a strong one, I replied,
You can hurt it, but it never cries, you did!
So when can I be an onion?

A beautiful journey, year after year,
It happens at known date,
At unexpected time, unannounced!
Many things change, every year,
I loose myself with each date,
Yet maturity never came, immaturity  always around.


Pimples on my face, shows my age!
Dark circles under my eyes, reminds me!
What next? Wrinkles on my face? 
But despite that, Do I act my age?
When time comes, I do,  with guarantee!
Otherwise I love to wear a childish face


I don't want to age,
Nor do I wanna stay my age! 
Yes, I am confused, Do I have a choice? 
It scares me, especially my Responsibilities
I asked, Did I make the right Choice? 
Confused, lost, stuck between my Responsibilities


You may ask, So what is ageing? 
Just a figure? Just a number?
Or is it just a factorial of maturity?
For me its,  societies expectations increasing
Engulfing me in their thought's chamber
At present, I wanna run away from Futurity 
Towards my past of immature dreams!
