The path of a seer is filled with woes. A lot they could see, but very little they could change. A kind of magic so volatile that one finds it hard to distinguish between dreams and predictions. Through space and time, they can watch the past or future and scheme around the events that they see. A seer is not a simple mage who predicts but schemes around their predictions to achieve their aims. One who works from the shadows and peers through time safeguarding the world from evil in all its forms.

I am writing this post anonymously because if anyone found out that I wrote this, my academic reputation would be ruined forever. As bizarre and frankly disturbing as what I'm about to tell you is, I assure you it's all true.

I am an academic historian and researcher of the Byzantine Empire. I have published dozens of influential papers in academic journals and I have a permanent teaching position at a major state university in the United States. My main area of research is on the influence of classical mythology on Byzantine hagiography in the sixth through ninth centuries CE.

I'm used to reading all sorts of bizarre stories about Eastern Orthodox saints, such as Saint Christophoros, who, according to some stories, had the head of a dog; Saint Symeon the Holy Fool, who is said to have pretended to be stupid and insane to avoid being praised for his holiness; and the Stylites, who lived on top of columns for years on end without ever coming down. Nearly two decades ago, however, I discovered something really, truly weird—something no other Byzantinist has ever seen. As much as I have studied it, I still can't explain it rationally.

Back in late September 2001, I was visiting a very old Greek Orthodox monastery at Mount Athos in northern Greece near Thessaloniki that had been founded in around the seventh century CE. The old monk who was the head of the monastery showed me to the monastery library, which was a dusty, disorganized room with an assortment of all kinds of texts and manuscripts of all different ages stacked on rows of old, wood shelves. I knew as soon as I saw it that it was a treasure trove of information. I was hoping I might find new texts that scholars did not already know about.

After sorting through stack after stack of medieval manuscripts, I came across a manuscript that caught my attention. It wasn't like any of the others. For one thing, it was clearly one of the oldest manuscripts in the collection. Many of the manuscripts in the collection dated to the fourteenth century or later, but this one was definitely from the early ninth century. That wasn't all that was unique about it, though; it was also the thickest book in the collection by far. I opened it up and found a strange text written in Byzantine Greek. The very first line on the very first page read as follows, in my own translation:

"Herein lie the prophecies of Didymos of Thessaloniki, son of Amphilochios. All things that are yet to come until the Day of Judgement are recorded in this tome."

I was instantly intrigued by this find. I continued reading. The book began with a detailed description of major events that happened in the Byzantine Empire over the course of the ninth century CE. Although the description was written as a prophecy, I knew that the text must have been written after the fact. Such vaticinia ex eventu are extremely common in ancient and medieval prophetic texts; whenever someone in ancient or medieval times wanted to write something and make it seem like it was truly prophetic, they would write about something that had already happened, but present the description of it as though it were a prediction.

As I continued reading, though, I began to feel more and more puzzled. The book just kept describing more and more events. It moved on from the ninth century to the tenth century and from there to the eleventh, then the twelfth, then the thirteenth. Strangely, though, the book did not seem like a thirteenth-century work; it very much seemed like it had been written in the early ninth century.

I was starting to suspect that the book I was holding was a deliberate modern forgery—in other words, not Byzantine at all, but rather a nefarious hoax. I was perplexed, however, because everything about the manuscript aside from its contents clearly indicated it had been written in the early ninth century. The parchment was definitely ninth century parchment. The text was written in perfect, ninth-century Byzantine Greek, without any of the anomalies one would expect from a modern forgery. The handwriting was characteristic of the ninth-century Byzantine style. If this document was a forgery, it could only have been forged by someone extremely knowledgeable. Indeed, only a world-renowned expert could have possibly created such a forgery.

As I continued reading, I came to a description of the rise of Mehmet II, the fall of Constantinople to the Ottoman Turks in 1453, and the death Konstantinos XI Palaiologos, the last emperor of the Byzantine Empire. The document then moved on from describing events in Byzantine history to events in world history at large. It described the rise of the Aztec and Incan Empires, the European discovery of the Americas, the Protestant Reformation, the Ming Dynasty in China, the founding of the Mughal Empire in India, and other events. It even covered, in extensive detail, events that contemporary historians have no knowledge of. For instance, it described events taking place in parts of North America, Africa, and Australia that we have no record of.

As I continued reading, the text continued describing events in world history, growing closer and closer to the present day. It described all the major events of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, including the Seven Years' War, the American Revolution, the French Revolution, the rise of Napoleon, the colonization of Australia, the Greek War for Independence, British Crown rule in India, the Opium Wars, the American Civil War, the nineteenth-century revolutions in Central and South America, the Partition of Africa, and so on.

Then came a chilling and detailed account of the wars and devastation of the early twentieth century: World War I, the overthrow of Tsar Nicholas II of Russia, the overthrow of the Qing Dynasty, the 1918 Spanish Influenza pandemic, the rise of communism, the Great Depression, the rise of the Nazis in Germany, World War II, the Holocaust, the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the Greek Civil War, the Cold War. This author knew everything. He gave all the exact names, dates, and locations of all the events he described. The dates were given on the Byzantine Anno Mundi calendar rather than the western Anno Domini calendar, but they were all correct.

Finally, after describing the events of the latter half of the twentieth century, including the founding of the United Nations, the founding of the European Union, the collapse of the Soviet Union, and the origins of the internet, the text came to the twenty-first century. I was expecting it to end there, but it just kept going. It described the attacks of September 11, 2001 in great detail, even though the attacks had only happened a matter of a few weeks before and most of the details were, at that time, not publicly known.

Then I read something that made my blood turn cold and every hair on my body stand on end. The document read, once again, in my own translation:

"This book of prophecies will be discovered in the library of a monastery at Mount Athos in the first month of the year 7510 since the creation of the cosmos according to the Romans, the year which they in that year shall know as 2001. It will be discovered by a scholar named [my full name], who will be greatly astonished at the accuracy of these predictions. He will steal this book and take it back to the land they will call 'America,' where it shall reside for a generation."

I was shocked when I read this. I was certain that the manuscript had to be some kind of joke. I looked around to see if anyone was going to jump out and laugh at me, but there was no one there. It was just me, sitting alone in the monastery library.

The first month of the Byzantine calendar is September. That means the author of that manuscript somehow knew not only the exact year when I would come find the book, but the exact month as well.

The manuscript was right about me stealing it too, although that may have been a self-fulfilling prophecy to some extent. I stole the manuscript from the monastery and smuggled it across the Atlantic back to the United States. I kept the manuscript a complete secret and didn't tell any of my colleagues about it.

The only reason why I am telling you about the manuscript now is because, for the past eighteen years, I have been keeping careful track of all the prophecies in the manuscript. Every single prophecy that was supposed to come true in the past eighteen years has. The manuscript predicted the War on Terror, the Great Recession, the rise of right-wing nationalist populism, the election of Donald Trump as president of the United States, Brexit, and even the recent fires in the Amazon rainforest. If it was a major event, the manuscript predicted it. I now know that the prophecies in that book are, somehow, completely genuine.

None of the manuscript's past predictions scare me, though. What truly scares me is what the manuscript says is going to happen next. I desperately hope that what that manuscript says is going to happen doesn't happen, but everything it has ever predicted has come true, so I see no reason why what it says is coming won't come. It seems that the imminent tribulations are inevitable. We like to think that the world is getting better, that the horrors of the present are merely transitory, but I fear that what is yet to come is far, far worse than anything we have seen already.

Soon, very soon, suffering and death will rain down upon the world. There will be plagues and droughts and food shortages. Many people, especially poor people and people living in poorer countries, will die. There will be terrible wars that will destroy countless lives. Resources will run low. It will be a time unlike any other.

Now, you may be thinking, "Yeah, yeah, I've heard a million different predictions about how the end of the world is going to happen soon and how it's going to be so awful and then it never happens." The problem is, the manuscript doesn't say that the end of the world is coming soon. In fact, it says just the opposite. The end of the world won't come for a very long time, but it would be a mercy compared to all the hardships we have left to endure.

"What did he say to Lin Feng?" Yang Zi Lan who was outside the area looked extremely nervous. The Diviner was looking at Lin Feng so he was probably telling him his future, and the crowd had seemingly burst into an uproar. Something big was happening.
"Maybe the Diviner told him he's a piece of trash?" said Xuan Yuan aggressively.
"Maybe." Yang Zi Lan stared at Lin Feng and nodded, trying to cheer himself up.
The crowd had burst into an uproar, which wasn't surprising. The last people for whom the Diviner had made his predictions were all stronger than the previous ones. Huang Fu Long with his brutal dragon body, Jun Mo Xi with his imperial immortal body who could become a great emperor. If he didn't die, he'd soon be one of the ten strongest cultivators of Ba Huang.
Then, Kong Ming the Buddhist monk, the Diviner had looked at him in a way which meant he was incredibly strong, he wasn't weaker than Jun Mo Xi at least. Could it be that their future was bright because they practiced ancient Buddhist cultivation?
"Can I reply later?" Lin Feng smiled. The Diviner was incredible, being close to him couldn't be a bad thing.
"You can." said the Diviner smiling. He then transmitted memories to Lin Feng's third eye, smiled and said, "When you make it to the Holy City, go to the Fortune Shrine to find me. I meant what I said today."
"Fortune Shrine!" Lin Feng was speechless. He glanced at the dragon king and Duan Wu Dao who had heard the Diviner's predictions. In their era, the Fortune Shrine had existed already. Was it the same as in the antiquity?
Everybody was astonished. The Diviner had taken out an olive branch and gave it to Lin Feng. The Diviner was from the Holy City and had admitted that the Fortune Shrine really existed! What kind of place was it?
And why Lin Feng?
Everybody was staring at Lin Feng. Long Teng, the thunderbird and other similar people wanted to kill him right there.
"We need to kill him before he becomes too strong." thought many people. They had to kill him so that he would become nothing at all.
"Congratulations Prince Lin!" said Yi Ren Lei smiling at Lin Feng in a resplendent way.
Lin Feng smiled back at her, but he was kind of shocked, did he have a special body? Was it because he was able to understand several sorts of abstruse energies?
"What does his future look like?" asked a Taoist monk at that moment. Fu Hei was next to him and thought, "what a bastard…"
The crowd looked at him, they had no particular impression. He looked like an ordinary cultivator. The only one who knew how strong he was was Fu Hei. He would never forget Qiong Qi.
But everybody was interested in hearing the reply, what would Lin Feng become?
"He can decide what he wants to become, maybe he'll be a lower emperor, maybe an average emperor, maybe a great emperor, maybe…" said the Diviner while smiling indifferently and pinching his moustache. His calmness made the crowd shiver. He was the only one who could decide what he wanted to become… that was the first time the Diviner said that about someone.
What did it mean?
The atmosphere had suddenly become an eerie silence. Maybe Lin Feng would become an emperor or a great emperor, he could decide.
"Hehe, it makes me want to have a few drinks!" said Huang Fu Long smiling, breaking the silence. Lin Feng, Jun Mo Xi and Huang Fu Long had all received great predictions, maybe they'd become incredible cultivators in the world. Too bad Yun Fei Yang and You You weren't there!

"Since you are protecting him, maybe you'll be able to break your fetters and handcuffs. I'm convinced you understand what I mean." said the Diviner smiling at Qiong Qi and pointing at Lin Feng.
Qiong Qi was incredulous and said, "Damn Diviner! It seems like I, a great emperor, will have to be on his side my entire life!"
"You're not joking, right?" asked Qiong Qi, staring back at the Diviner.
"You can put your life at stake and check if I was right or not." said the Diviner smiling. Qiong Qi rolled his eyes. He used to be a heroic emperor, now he had to depend on Lin Feng.
Lin Feng's eyes twinkled. Maybe he'd become a lower emperor or an average emperor or an emperor… he clenched his fists and closed his eyes, he felt determined. Even if the Diviner had said it, it all depended on him. It meant that he had to persist, he'd eventually dazzle the entire Continent of the Nine Clouds someday.
"Alright, I'm done. I told you all what I thought about your special bodies, abilities, talent, intent, etc. If you change, go through hardships and life-changing experiences, if you experience death, etc. maybe what I've told you will be completely different from what you will really become."
"pheeeeeeww…" four more golden arrows appeared in the air: one was shot at Huang Fu Long, one at Jun Mo Xi and two at Kong Ming.
Nine Watchers were there, but only eight had shot arrows.
Lin Feng looked at the one who hadn't shot any arrows, that probably meant that it was his protector!
Many people sighed because Lin Feng had told the Diviner to tell him his future personally, he hadn't received an arrow, but because Kong Ming had asked not to receive the predictions, two arrows had been shot at him.
"Some people are selfish and wanted to hear the predictions alone while some others refused to listen at all. Predictions are one thing, but some geniuses will die young even though the Diviner told them they'd have a great future." said someone in an ice-cold way reminding the crowd that Lin Feng had asked to hear his predictions alone. The Diviner wanted to have Lin Feng as a disciple which meant that he'd become extremely strong. Some people were not going to let him off after this.
Nobody could know if Lin Feng would become an emperor or not.
If Lin Feng had accepted to become the emperor's disciple, his life could have been different, but he only wanted to know about his future and didn't care about the present. Therefore, Kong Ming from the Celestial Thunder Temple, who also had a terrifying special body, had more chances to live longer than Lin Feng. That's why the Watchers had shot two arrows at him.

"The event is over. When you leave the illusion, don't forget to continue practicing cultivation and to stay determined and persistent." said the Diviner gradually disappearing. Fortune City also gradually disappeared.
"Where do you come from and where are you going?" shouted someone. Then they all realized they were not in Fortune City anymore. They were in a desert and a mist was lying about. They were where Fortune City used to be.
"Since you said I was similar to those people, I will kill them and become stronger. I, Mo Peng, will definitely become a great emperor and amaze the world!"
In the sky above one of the four ancient cities which surrounded Fortune City, there was a golden great oriental greenfinch roc who didn't believe the Diviner's predictions.
In another city, there were Qi Tian Sheng and Qi Jiao Jiao. Qi Tian Sheng looked sad when he said in a cold way, "Since he said I wasn't as strong as them, I'll kill them and replace them."
The strongest cultivators of the province were furious.
"Lin Feng, get ready to die." After coming out of Fortune City, Xuan Yuan still wanted to kill Lin Feng.
"Lin Feng, no matter what your special body is, no matter what you could become, I'll kill you and the predictions will just be empty words." said the thunderbird in the sky somewhere above.
"Lin Feng, I will find you before you become too strong. There will won't be any incredible geniuses in Tiantai." said Long Teng in the sky somewhere as well.
As many people had expected, everyone wanted to kill Lin Feng after the event in Fortune City!

"Don't speak of it. Be careful of your words from now on." Gabriel spoke in a low cautioning voice. "Your words will become powerful in the future and you might speak bad stuff into existence."
I snuggled into my blankets and tried to relax but I was jittery with exhaustion and overwhelmed with the strangeness of the room with him in it. I was supposed to be sleeping right now, dreaming about things I won't remember when I wake up.
Why am I lying here in my bed with a person who keeps insisting that I should stay away from him when in fact, he was the one who couldn't stay away?

"You, Cassandra, are our enemy," Gabriel whispered before I even finished talking. "Fate still can change depending on your choices because of the existence of a free will. But you, everything you say will come true. Your story is the end-game here. Nothing's going to change once you speak about a prophecy. Your predictions become the absolute truth. You have the sole power to abolish the House of Tarot."
He shook his head before I could ask any questions.
"Our task is to kill you. The powers and magical abilities of an Heir of every House of Tarot as generations pass by continue to evolve and they kept it as a secret to the other House for their advantage. I'm sure a person with Cassandra Syndrome shall evolve in this way too. We don't know what abilities the current Cassandra has and if she falls into the wrong hands..." He trailed off. "The House of Tarot doesn't know what things you are capable of and we don't want to know. Your existence could destroy the natural balance of this world; maybe you could have the power to kill a god."
"The Knights are only given these two choices." He said softly. "It's either we kill you or we let Fate kill humanity."
Our faces were so close at the moment and I noticed our bodies touching on the bed. All I had to do was lean down and I would be kissing him. It seemed like the most natural thing to do and I was halfway to his mouth before I stopped myself and pulled back, stunned again by my lack of restraint.
I saw him swallow hard.
"Going to blame me for your attraction again?" Gabriel smirked and then he sighed, his smile fading. "Lie back, Cass, and think about something else." He told me, which I immediately did to hide my stupidity. "I do it all the time whenever you're near. You'll get past your attraction with that exercise."
For a few minutes, we were both breathing a lot faster than we should have been, but after a while, Gabriel relaxed enough to take my hand and hold it under the covers.

His gaze jerked up and clashed with mine, confusion darkening those gorgeous irises. "I'm doing things I never even wanted to do in the first place. Like messing up my mission as the heir of the House of Cups."

"I don't want to be indebted to you! I don't want you to get hurt while you kept me safe."

The more I spoke, the more Gabriel's pupils narrowed.

"Do you know why I'm doing this?" Gabriel chuckled without humor as he cupped my chin, forcing my face to his. "Because I loathe it when you are hanging out with some other guy. Someone who isn't me." 

He pulled back and studied my face before shaking his head. "I want to kill them myself. There's a dark thought in my mind that says you are mine to own. And you are mine to kill when that time comes where I have to."

Gabriel's grip tightened and he leaned down, placing us nose to nose, his choppy breath traipsing over my lips. "You like taunting me by flirting with other guys too, do you? Well, guess what? It works. I can't fucking get you out of my mind." 

He released me long enough to slam a fist into the wall just beside my temple. "The first kiss was a goddamn mistake. It was supposed to purge you from my thought, make me stop wondering what you taste like."

Noah left the cave in the seabed for the first time after fifteen years spent in seclusion. The cracks in the sky had widened in that period, but their size was in line with Shandal's predictions.
'Less than five hundred years,' Noah thought as he glanced at the sky before setting off for the western side of the new continent.
Noah flew slowly and let his superior awareness learn as much as possible about the new environment of the world. Various packs of Eternal Snakes appeared in his path, but he avoided all of them.
It wasn't time to fight them yet. Noah wanted to train for a while before starting his massive hunt.
The environment had already started to change in those years. The magical beasts released auras capable of changing the territories around them into lands that suited their species.
It usually took centuries for a single pack of magical beasts to modify an environment. Still, the world had already begun to show changes due to the numerous Eternal Snakes in the sixth rank.
The temperature had dropped, and ice covered vast areas. Even part of the sea couldn't escape that change.
Noah guessed that the world would soon contain only one species of magical beasts. It wouldn't take much before Eternal Snakes in the first rank started to appear either.
Nothing could stop that trend. Noah couldn't perform a clearing operation on the entire world just yet, so both landmasses and sea would soon turn into the perfect breeding ground of the Eternal Snakes.
A layer of thick ice covered a location in the sea west of the new continent, and Noah dived right through it to reach his destination.
The seabed soon appeared in his eyes, and Noah expanded his consciousness to find traces of formations in the area. His mental waves eventually found dormant inscriptions, and he didn't hesitate to swim toward them.
Those lines lit up when Noah touched them, and light engulfed his figure. He soon found himself in the familiar environment separate dimension, which appeared far larger now that no one occupied it.
Noah used a few teleportation matrices powered by formations that gathered "Breath" from the outside world. A city eventually appeared in his eyes, and he quickly moved toward its center.
The city's central building was the tallest structure in the area, but Noah only cared about it contained. A secret room on the last floor hid a teleportation matrix that led him to a separate location that confined a large piece of black fur.
The Hive couldn't carry the Seventh Kesier rune through the dimensional portal. That was a proper divine item coming from a divine magical beast. That tunnel through the void would have never endured the pressure that it released.
Thirty-seven and his disciples had planned to make copies of the Seventh Kesier rune as soon as Noah brought it back from the hidden world. Yet, the project was quite ambitious, and it had taken them centuries only to come close to a decent imitation.
Kesier runes wouldn't carry all their miraculous power in their copies, so it was always more beneficial to train with the original. Still, even the imitations were quite valuable since they were more efficient than other training methods for the sea of consciousness.
The Hive mainly wanted to use the copies as insurance in case of invasions, but it could also trade them for items with equal value. It wasn't a surprise that Thirty-seven had something ready before the attack of the Eternal Snakes.
'I wonder if I should bring this in the Immortal Lands,' Noah thought as he looked at the rune. 'I don't have a proper use for it after I become a rank 7 mage.'
Noah was still wondering whether he would build his Inheritance. He rarely did things for others, especially those that he had never met. However, most cultivators abided by that tradition.
Inheritances didn't only express the dreams of their creators. They were a mark of the existence of the cultivators.
Noah's allies had already left the world, so he couldn't gift his teachings to anyone close to him. Yet, Divine Demon had created his Inheritance without giving it to the Demon sects, so Noah could take him as an example.
'I guess I have to save the world first before thinking about leaving something behind,' Noah thought as he suppressed those ideas.
His mind focused entirely on the Seventh Kesier rune at that point, and a long training session began. Noah didn't only expand his mind in that period. He also ate and cultivated as if the world wasn't about to end.
Years quickly passed as Noah focused on improving his centers of power. His battle against the Eternal Snake had proven that he could face peak rank 6 magical beasts, but he wouldn't find a solitary creature in the current environment.
He had to become stronger before he could approach the hunts. That would be his second last long seclusion before he started to focus only on the Snakes. He would enter the last one once he obtained enough materials to resume his experiments with the creature's innate ability.
Noah tried his best to keep track of the passage of time at that time. He couldn't let five hundred years slip by while he focused on improving his centers of power.
Still, a whole century went by before he snapped out of his constant training. His dantian had to show signs of an imminent breakthrough for him to understand that he had spent too long in seclusion.
'Time to hunt,' Noah thought as he left the separate dimension.
Noah flew through the world and inspected the various lairs that the Eternal Snakes had built. A large part of the landmasses had turned into blocks of ice in those years, but the number of rank 6 specimens appeared lower than before.
That was within Noah's predictions. Many rank 6 magical beasts couldn't cohabitate for a long time without a leader who suppressed their innate aggression.
The net of cracks had enlarged a lot in those years. He could still see the sky, but it was clear that the world was going toward its end.
The quasi-rank 7 Eternal Snake had created the largest pack and had settled at the center of the new continent, where the silver liquid of the divine beasts had fallen.
The peripheral areas of that landmass and the old continent accommodated smaller packs, but the nine peak rank 6 Snakes led most of them.
The only place that contained even smaller packs and weaker Eternal Snakes was the sea, but that was enough to give Noah an idea of how he had to approach the hunt.
Noah flew toward the most distant area from the continents and dived into the sea. His consciousness expanded at that point, and he searched for any trace of life that was worthy of his time.
It didn't take him much to find a few Eternal Snakes that wandered outside of every pack. Even the magical beasts' world had exiled specimens, and they were the first creatures that Noah had decided to hunt.
'I should kill them quickly,' Noah thought when he looked at the three rank 6 Snakes in the distance, and dark matter came out of his chest.

"So, that's how my life ends, what a waste of time it was...".

The rank 2 Magus deferentially accepted the order and left, and minutes later, a rank 2 dark elven matriarch in skintight clothing walked in.

Her face was extremely delicate, her skin pale and exquisite. She was evidently a beauty that was hard to come by, though her expression now held apprehension.

“Alicia! As expected, it’s you!” Leylin laughed.

Out of all the dark elves, it was just this one matriarch that he had been standing against for ten or so years in Dolon City, and they could somewhat be considered acquaintances.

“Alicia greets the lord Guardian of the Realm!” The dark elven matriarch Alicia bit her lips, and then knelt and leaned down, respectfully touching her head to the cold ground.

She was still slightly dazed. This young Magus that had contested with her for over ten years had long since reached the apex of the Magus World and had left her far behind. When she saw him, she even needed to kneel. She did not want to do this, yet could not express it on the outside.

From Leylin’s point of view, he took in everything, from the pretty and flirtatious matriarch’s exquisite jade-like back, rounded taut buttocks, to her slender, firm thighs.

As if noticing Leylin’s gaze, a look of bashfulness appeared on Alicia’s face, but she secretly wriggled her body, revealing a silent charm.

In her heart, however, she felt an intense feeling of humiliation.

Though dark elves were very open when it came to promiscuity to the point they could have boy toys of different races as well, it was always the dark elves dominating in the psychological aspect, with their mental belief in their stance as masters and owners who were untouchable.

But now? This experience of offering herself up as a gift and fearing the other party not accepting was difficult for Alicia, a matriarch of fewer than 200 years and a very mentally sensitive dark elf.

“So what is your intention in coming here?” Leylin withdrew his gaze. He had always been able to control himself when it mattered.

In addition, after advancing to be a rank 3 Warlock and taking over as the Guardian of the Realm, there were more than enough women wanting to climb into his bed. There had even been dark elves who had attempted this— after the great defeat of the dark elves, there was a large dive in the prices of dark elven slaves in the slave market, and there were many dark elven nobles on sale! It had to be said that because of their great outer appearance and innate skill at magic, dark elves were truly the most suitable choice to be Magus slaves.

Even if Leylin did not express anything, there would be Magi racking their brains on how to please him and sending him captive dark elves for him to enjoy.

“This is the symbol of our power—the dark elven crown, as well as the complete volume of the high-grade meditation technique, ‘Life Absorption.’ We dark elves are willing to completely withdraw from north Twilight Zone, even pulling back till the north of the river. We will also supply top-grade exclusive slaves and many precious resources. Please let us off!” Alicia continued to beg while kowtowing.

“This…” Leylin pondered, fingers circling and rapping to create a regular rhythm.

Alicia’s breath almost stopped, awaiting the judgment of destiny in terror and anticipation.

“Fine.” Leylin nodded in agreement.

After the human race’s allied force recovered the northern region, it lacked the ability to advance and gain more.

An absolute power meant that once the human race completely extinguished the dark elves, gnomes, and dwarves with his help, they could very well decline quickly due to internal strife. This was not what Leylin wanted to see.

A constant, unyielding external pressure would evidently be able to serve the function of spurring on the humans.

“Many thanks, my lord!” Alicia was so elated she was on the verge of tears.

Though Leylin could immediately enjoy the enthusiastic desire of this matriarch to serve him, he still chased her out.

It was obvious that Alicia’s value could not compare to the dark elven crown and high-grade meditation technique.

“Magic equipment— Dark Elven Crown!”

Leylin caressed the surface of this magic equipment. As it had been used recently in the war, the crown’s surface was dim, and it seemed unremarkable.

If not for knowing about it beforehand, Leylin might have been tricked by its outer appearance and missed this magic equipment.

In the world of the Magi, magic equipment ranked far above magic artifacts. They held a mysterious power within, and usually, only Magi at rank 3 and higher would have the opportunity to come into contact with one.

Many prompts from the A.I. Chip appeared.

“This is just the start. If I can completely analyse the inner workings of this magical device, I might even be able to forge my own…”

Leylin could tell that this was a great opportunity for him. He had been unable to improve his alchemy and high-grade enchantment skills in recent times.

“And this!” Leylin picked up that black crystal.

Large amounts of information streamed in front of Leylin’s eyes. They were written in the dark elven language, but this was nothing important. Earlier in the eastern region, Leylin had obtained much fundamental academic content through the library in Nature’s Alliance. Things like the dark elven language were nothing much.

“Life Absorption!” This was a high-grade meditation technique passed down by the dark elves. Only dark elves who were as powerful as matriarchs were qualified to train in it.

From this, it could be seen that Longbottom had really been doing well with the dark elves, and had gained their trust.

“This meditation technique…” Leylin touched his chin, recalling the information the A.I. Chip had just recorded.

Even though this bit of time was not enough for him to completely analyse the meditation technique, he largely knew its characteristics and uses.

Life Absorption was obviously rated as high-grade and was in the top class even in Twilight Zone. If not, dark elves themselves had many high-grade meditation techniques. Why would they make it a rule that it was a meditation technique to be passed down?

The characteristic of Life Absorption was that it could increase the spiritual force by robbing life force from other creatures, thus helping with breakthroughs.

The higher the level, the easier it was to gain the life force of various creatures. At the end, it could even cause a deathly vortex that was similar to a calamity, and all creatures in range would be attacked regardless of what they were.

However, this meditation technique did have its disadvantages.

As it relied on robbing life force to improve, its foundations were not stable. There had not even been a single matriarch who could break through from the rank 3 level into the Morning Star realm.

Besides, when one reached the more profound parts of the meditation technique, the Magus himself or herself would find their life force disappearing. This could not be compensated with any method other than the life force of other creatures.

The moment the life energy gained was too immense, or if the Magus’ rank was too high, the Magi who trained in Life Absorption would lose their life force at a faster rate.

This meant that every time Magi who trained in Life Absorption used it, it meant they were one step closer to the abyss of death. However, with the growth of strength and the later loss of life force, it was like a drug that influenced many Magi to use it and eventually destroy themselves.

“To cultivate in this sort of meditation technique, it’s best to find an ancient creature with enough life force and drain all its life force, succeeding in training in this meditation technique all at one go.”

Leylin’s plentiful experience allowed him to think of a few methods to solve this issue, but he then shook his head.

“It’s not just the difficulty in advancing in meditation techniques. Ancient creatures that have great life force cannot be underestimated by even rank 3 Magi… Unless it was their remains…”

At this thought, Leylin naturally thought about the Icy Cave.

If nothing unexpected happened, in the deeper parts of the Icy Cave, the Icy World held within the body of a creature with the strength of at least Morning Star strength, as well as the blood of an even more frightening existence.

“With my current strength, what will it be like if I go to the Icy World?”

Leylin was silent for a while, and a gold light suddenly flashed in his hands, a simple gold coin appeared in his palm.

*Bling!* Leylin flung the coin, and there was a sole golden arc in the air that then landed on the back of his hand.

Leylin lifted his palm and he saw the side with a skull engraved on it pointing up. Its eyes seemed to be ridiculing him with its smirk.

“It won’t end up well?” Leylin murmured, and gave up all thoughts of proceeding forth.

*Ka-cha!* Immediately after, a slight crack appeared on the surface of Coin of Destiny.

As the unique magic item, Leylin had created by exhausting his thoughts, Coin of Destiny had the terrifying ability to predict the future!

However, there was also a limit. Though Leylin had given it a sacrifice using the child of destiny, as well as added much spiritual force from Sacred Flame, he did not train in this meditation technique and thus, could not obtain images and specific information. He could only approximate the judgment through positive and negative predictions.

Besides, due to the constraints from Sacred Flame’s level and the ranking of the sacrifice, there was a limit to how many times Coin of Destiny could be used.

If he wanted predictions on rank 3 Magi and below, it could be used for a long time, but once it got up to the Morning Star realm, each usage would result in great damage to Coin of Destiny itself and then cause it to fall apart.

Leylin had asked for predictions on the situation if he headed to the icy caves. The skull head was up, implying that if Leylin really did that, it would not end up well for him.


Leylin is transported from an advanced technological era into a medieval world— except there’s magic. Equipped with only his quick wits and an A.I. chip fused to his soul, he sets out to become the most powerful magus the world has ever known. CHAPTER 8 

MEMORIES 

It's the truth that things end but memories last forever. One day all these noises, the problems, the detritus on this planet will end. Well who knows when will this happen and how? There are predictions though. The earth was created by a bang, accidentally. All the matter in the universe was created in one big bang at a particular time in the remote past which is known as the 'Big bang theory'. 

There is a fifty year old book predicting 2020 as 'global catastrophe'. The end of the world was predicted to occur in 2020, following a "global catastrophe" brought on by unlimited economic growth by the global superpowers, according to a book written almost fifty years ago. Well who knows if this is true but if we look around we can agree that the world has gained in terms of the wealth which is human development but has lost in terms of health which signifies the nature and the natural habitant. 

A best selling book called 'the limits of growth' was published in the year 1972 when the world actually began to wake up to environmental damage. The authors of this book were the first to coin the term 'sustainability' and said without it, civilisation will begin to decline by 2020. Well what they predicted is actually true, we are in a phase where the quality of living has been declined and we are facing the edge of our lives. 

In the sixties, all over the western world, economies were growing and people were shopping post war and the consumer process was firmly established. All the development in the economy sector started to take place. These authors were worried about the people losing out in the world to hunger, pollution and industrialization that is the price paid for our growth. We have already witnessed a lot, one was the 'great famine' which occurred around two hundred years ago. Not only that but industrialization started to boost, you might have studied it in the modern history where all these things started to boost up and people accepting the modern world in which the human gained a lot in many ways, right? However there's an old saying 'no gain without pain' which means that you have to pay for the things you gain and now the time to pay has finally arrived. 

This is what actually is happening in 2020! Don't you think if we analyse it then we can come to this conclusion that 2020 was chosen as the year of downfall. How? We can take the example of Professor Meadows who explained that it became clear to us that the factor which were causing progress in the seventies would lead to catastrophe in the early part of the next century. 

So if we ask if this is the end? Well I would say no that's not the end, world will not end soon although there will be a lot of problems, disasters which human kind will have to face. Well again who knows when will the world end? It maybe soon or not so soon, we can't be sure of that, anyways we all are not focusing on that because we all are busy in our lives, figuring out the way for ourselves from this situation. This pandemic did put a break in our lives but it can't stop us from continuing the things and now rather in a faster pace. The virus was started from one country, it is obvious the world didn't want this to affect us but it had a huge impact and now we all are facing this together. If we think this in a political view there is a lot of things which is unsaid. 

We all are going to die one day and that's the ultimate truth which is not so pleasant thought and most of us don't feel so comfortable to think about it, right? Well obviously we think and we know that right now we are here to live our lives and death is far away for now but life is not going to last forever, it is going to end one day. Same thing with the changes we did to this world and our environment. We will end but our memories will live forever, likewise the world will end but the impact will live forever. Memories are timeless treasures of the heart no matter how much time will be gone memories remain in our hearts and in this world we will be left as memories.

The book '2020 THE YEAR'  is a non fiction work. This book is about the year '2020'. The book helps us in looking at the changes which we faced during this pandemic, how it changed our lifestyles all over the world and how we are dealing with this situation. The world is in a war against this deadly Corona virus which have affected us in a major way and there has been huge losses all over the world. The world has been transformed into something new and wearing masks is our new normal. Reading the chapters helps the readers to open their eyes and realize those things from which we were blindfolded. There have been a positive as well as negative changes in the world. The important thing is what we learnt from these changes. The communities all over the world have been facing different and difficult situations in their lives, during this time, we all have to keep patience and fight this deadly virus together.

"We are ready father!" Rosetta exclaimed impatiently.

"Good, let the bride and groom come here. They'd have to kneel before me." The pastor said.

Xaviera and Sandro went ahead as they did what they were asked. 

"Where are the bracelets?" The pastor questioned. 

"Here they are!" Rafaela said as she sent to the pastor two golden bangles which were kept in a little jewelery box. Lucy really put her best in designing them.

The pastor placed the bracelets on their wrists, as he started to bless them. 

"I shall begin with the predictions. You both shouldn't panic." The pastor said. 

He shut his eyes, as he thought about some stuff. In less than five minutes, he was done. 

"What's it? Please tell." Rosetta said impatiently.

"Okay. I'd tell you everything I saw." The pastor replied.

"Let's go to the living, things would be better over there." He added. 

Xaviera looked around the room in fear, she was afraid to hear what the pastor was going to say.

Everyone was downstairs. They all took their seats, as the pastor sat in front.

"Okay, so, all I can say is that, their future is gonna be interesting. I saw an obstacle between them, but I can't guess what it actually was. Xaviera would grow to become  the richest woman in the world, and her husband, Sandro, the richest man in the world. They'd have a bouncing baby boy. The groom would hit the belly of the bride very hard. It'd be by mistake, this would make their future baby a pain in the neck. He'd be a troublesome fellow, but an interesting one for that matter." He paused to take in a deep breath. 

"I pray my future grandson would grow up to be fond of me!" Rosetta exclaimed. 

"I couldn't see something properly, because it was a big thing. But all I can say is that, a person very close to the husband would die. The wife would be a successful person, even more than her husband.

I think that's all I can say for now. The rest are unsayable. If I blurt them out, I'd not have peace of mind. I'd be haunted for the rest of my life, it might even kill me. We all know there are some things that are not supposed to be said? Don't we? So, I'd end here. And don't think preventing them from marrying is gonna prevent all of these. They are destined to be together, and no one can come between them. Whoever that does, would die a painful death. Good bye." The pastor finished, as he got up to leave. 

Rafael, his wife and Rosetta escorted him to the door, and they returned to discuss what was put before them.

Sandro didn't look bothered, because he didn't believe in any of what the pastor said.

"I think we have to be ready for anything that comes our ways. We all heard what he said, and we can't ignore that fact. It's destiny, and it can't be changed. So we'd have to cope with it" Rosetta mumbled sadly.

"We can't stop them from being together. You heard him, whoever that comes between them would die a painful death." Rafaela also said.

"Tsw, I can't believe you guys are falling for what a mere mortal has said. You can't take what a human has told you. If you ask me, I'd say we all shouldn't worry. Trust me, it won't happen." Sandro said.

"You have to believe it, I mean, the pastor is very powerful. I have seen his predictions come to past. Let's not draw into conclusions." Carlotta interjected.

"That's right. We'd continue our celebration. After all nothing can be done. And we also pray that none of those things he said happens. I can't wait to have my grandson." Rosetta mumbled happily.

Everyone let go off their thoughts, as they continued preparing for the grand occasion that was coming their way this weekend, the wedding.

Be it a subconscious or conscious decision, Mo Wen turned to look towards the location where Wang Zhong and Vladimir sat. Carolyn had already lost. Therefore, those 2 were the only people left in this CHF that had the qualifications to be his opponents.
Quite a few people took notice to this, causing their shouts and cheers to grow with increasing frenzy and madness. Without a doubt, Mo Wen's victory over Carolyn had allowed him to clinch the seat of King in their hearts.
Now, having reached the finals of this CHF, he was looking at the 2 possible opponents he would have to face. Wang Zhong or Vladimir? Who would be the one that would end up fighting against hi?
"Mo Wen has led the Heaven's Fate squadron into the CHF finals! Just as what I've predicted, I have high hopes for the Heaven's Fate squadron to clinch the championship! They're too frightening! Despair-causing levels of it! Every single person in that squadron is incomparably powerful! Furthermore, they possess incomparably rich combat experience in solo and group situations! Coupled with the invincible Mo Wen, I reckon that there's no one that could shake their position!" Ruo Zhi roared out emotionally: "Especially in this duel! What a terrifying performance by Mo Wen! They're simply undefeatable!"
He had already gone HIGH! There weren't many people that had good expectations for Heaven's Fate in today's match. He was the only one among the casters that did so. After all, Heaven's Fate was up against Stuart, who had 4 great Mo's List rankers in their lineup!
However, truth to be told, Ruo Zhi's predictions were spot on!
Chen Yu'er worshipped Ruo Zhi greatly. Although many of the casting and analysis done on fight are there for entertainment, Ruo Zhi really had the real tricks of this trade in his grasp, especially his incomparably accurate predictions about Heaven's Fate. Be it his wild or intellectual guesses, his predictions were all spot on!
The Skylink audience proceeded to give a rare ovation for their main host, the great intellect Ruo Zhi! After roasting people for tens of thousands of years, their brother Ruo Zhi had finally turned himself around!
"Oh emperor of predictions, I graciously offer a 100 6's to you!"
"Predict the match between Tianjing and Gronzy if you dare!"
"Don't go too far! Today belongs to Heaven's Fate!"
The first of the semifinals had ended. However, for the supporters of Heaven's Fate, the berserk celebrations had only just begun.
From the end of the match till late into the night, all of the streets of Stuart City were littered by countless half-naked people hugged alcohol bottles as they danced around, howling and shouting the names of Heaven's Fate, Mo Wen as well as the folk songs about the Heaven's Fate squadron.
Arriving on the host's tuff before defeating them, stepping on them in the face of countless of their fans! Who else but Heaven's Fate had that level of dominance to do that?
Naturally, having become the backdrop, Stuart was now in a position of misery. Their great doors have been smashed wide open by Heaven's Fate. Truthfully speaking, the entire Stuart City were exceedingly happy and excited upon the announcement that their city would become the host for this CHF. However, the outcome of the earlier match was equivalent to a big fat slap to their faces!
Frankly speaking, a nervous atmosphere had descended up Stuart City as night fell. On one end, there were those crazily excited fans of Heaven's Fate. On the other hand, there was a sea of Stuart City citizens drowning in their misery.
Everyone had expected for many conflicts and bloodshed between the fans of both squadrons, as such matters have happened before in the past CHF due to the handiwork of some notorious CHF rogues. Such matters would pop up from time to time and stem from massively unexpected changes in the CHF like what had happened in the earlier semi-final match.
Due to the unexpected result of the match, the Stuart Family and the Federation had hastily deployed additional peacekeeping forces to patrol the city. However, even when dawn broke on the next day, not a single one of those expected conflicts, small or big, had erupted! Other than a few scuffles caused by fans spilling alcohol or their actions under intoxication, there was not a single fight that broke out! The peacekeeping forces had wasted them getting all nervous for the entire night!
Admittedly, an extremely large reason why it did not happen was due to everyone maintaining a considerable level of control over themselves. However, it was more so that people didn't have anything they could get angry about, as they really didn't even have the slightest bit of thing they could nitpick or feel dissatisfied about. Furthermore, Heaven's Fate could just dispel all of them with another match!
As for the aristocratic family side, Stuart clearly wasn't a family that could not take a loss, as they did not display any sort of action that would be deemed as unsportsmanlike.
As this moment, the only thing they needed to do was to slowly lick and nurse their wounds. In fact, some of those big shots were certain that the current Heaven's Fate squadron could not be stopped by anyone of their age group. Although Stuart might have a certain percentage of success to do so, it was still in the minority. Despite that, none of them had expected for there to be such a huge disparity formed between these 2 powerhouses.
Mo Wen was hands down the most crucial factor in their prediction misses. No only did he display a performance worthy of a king, his existence was an extremely huge driving factor for the Heaven's Fate squadron! Every single member of this current squadron had exceeded their expectations in their strength, might and power! This was all due to Mo Wen being by their side! Not only was he strong, his very existence made the people around him become stronger!
Frankly speaking, many of the big shots were already contemplation of doing a brand new evaluation of the Mo Family's might.
There was already no use to describe Mo Wen's talent any further. Powerhouses aren't good teachers for sure, while good teachers might not be powerhouses at all.
People as powerful and able to teach like Mo Wen would definitely become the most outstanding leaders of this generation! Now, he was no longer able to keep the low-profile that he had maintained in the past. Furthermore, a few of his somewhat secrets started to be exposed from various channels, coupled with some rumours. Clearly, these were disseminated purposely by some people. 
Information like how Mo Wen was once an instructor for the Federation Arm Force's Mechanized Battalion was finally known by the masses. Furthermore, they were just privy to half of the whole matter! At this moment, stuff like how highly regarded he was, what rank he held, and how vicious he was to the recruits within the Mechanized Battalion were made public...various kinds of messy information with varying truths were being disseminated, some real, some false and some exaggerated, filling up every big and small street across the entire Federation. Just the accumulation of these messy information was sufficient to write an incomparably splendid fairy tale.
The honour and glory brought about by his victory had caused Mo Wen's reputation to skyrocket to the heavens!
Countless rumours and legends about him filled the air. However, the originator of all stories, Mo Wen, continued to answer the various questions posed by the media with a calm and unflustered manner, while replying with a smile to the various kinds of stories being spun about him.
This smile was showcased and broadcasted countless times over.
There was no need for real men to act!

Clearly, Mo Wen had already surpassed the level of things that people like Gui Hao cared about. There was absolutely no need for him to continue publicizing his name and reputation. In fact, he did not even use his full strength in his duel against Carolyn!
When he held the post of instructor in the Mechanized Battalion, he was already able to suppress those terrifying Heroic Soul experts in the armed forces with his strength!

Amidst a disaster, an orphan contracts a sickness.

One day, when he was five years old, a strange Fate Trickster appeared in his dreams. Ten years later, he dreams of becoming a lord. To do so, he takes a chance to trade his fate!

That day, Wang Zhong once again stood at the gates of the Tianjing Heroic Soul Academy. He was about to start a brand new life.

It was the year 1637. Amakusa Shirou was 16 years old, and had been lauded by Japanese Catholic followers as "heaven's messenger" just one year ago. Now, he was the leader of the Shimabara rebellion, which aimed to overthrow the Tokugawa Shogunate. 
Amakusa Shirou had already gained fame among the rebels for his miraculous works. Among the rebels were some spies sent by the ancient families. They did not want to go against the Tokugawa Shogunate yet, but they had to keep up with the recent events. 
Amakusa Shirou began foretelling the future. For example, he had predicted that the rebel forces would be pushed back just before successfully sieging the Tomioka and Hondo castles. They would again fail to capture Shimabara castle, but would instead gather at Hara castle and put up wooden palisades. 
At first, nobody believed him. But when the events happened exactly as how he had described them, they were left in awe. No-one dared not to believe him. Afterwards, it was said that Amakusa Shirou was a saint. 
Soon, this folk saint started proclaiming prophecies of the far future. He said that a global financial crisis would occur in 2007 to 2008, despite the fact that no-one knew what a global financial crisis was. 
He proclaimed that Barack Obama would be the first African American President at the start of 2009. 
He made all sorts of predictions, and since they claims about 400 years into the future, no-one could verify them. Nevertheless, the spies from the ancient families were diligent when copying down his prophecies.
In the end, Hara castle had been besieged and conquered after the betrayal of a rebel, and Amakusa Shirou was taken captive and beheaded. His head was displayed on a pike in Nagasaki.
But before the fall of the castle, Amakusa Shirou had proclaimed a final prophecy. 
"One day, the saviour of the world will grace this land. He will share the same name as I, and begin his life an orphan. I proclaim, to all those who heed my words. Treat him well, and he will repay the favour. Not with personal benefits, but by saving the world! His name begins with 'Na' and ends with 'Mi'!"
That was Amakusa Shirou's last prophecy. It was said that just before he was beheaded, he had mumbled these words: "I've done my job, Administrator."
Years later, the ancient families still kept his prophecies safe in their archives. Every other rebel had been killed, so they were not afraid that these all-important prophecies would be leaked out to the general populace. When the time came for the GFC in 2007, these families had been prepared. Their mindset had been, 'better safe than sorry'. Some had not heeded Shirou's words, and had lost a lot. Others, who believed Shirou, benefited. 
His prophecies were once again proved true when Barack Obama was elected the President of the USA. 
With these accurate predictions of the future, no-one doubted that his last prophecy would be false. As such, the ancient families had scoured the entirety of Japan for years, hoping to find this so-called saviour of the world.
Alas, no-one could find him. That was, until two immature youths reported their friend's name to their parents…

The Ashikage family, who were one of the families that believed in Amakusa Shirou's prophecies, was currently in a state of turmoil. The only successor of the main family, Ashikage Junko, had just finished her report on her assignment in Australia. 
As for why the Ashikage family were acting like ants in a hot pot, her guess was as good as any. She had simply reported that she had met Miyamoto Basara and Hattori Iwatani personally on the plane. She didn't leave out the fact that Amakusa Naofumi was present with them, and that they seemed to share a good relationship.
It wasn't until her parents had finished freaking out that they explained the circumstances to Junko.
And when she heard it, she was shocked beyond belief. 'To think that the person I was worried about, the person I had warned about the Miyamoto and Hattori families, was the saviour of the world!'
Naturally, as someone who hadn't fully succeeded the family, there were many secrets that were kept from her. Growing up in a technological era where superstitious things such as prophecies and fortune-telling were considered scams, Junko was reluctant to believe what her parents had told her.
But when the personally brought her to their archives and showed her the ancient scripts that the Ashikage family spies had written, she could no longer refuse to accept reality.
Suddenly, she felt thankful that she had not blown up in a fit of rage in front of Amakusa Naofumi. If she had, she wouldn't be able to bear the consequences. It was unknown whether this 'saviour of the world' was one who would bear grudges. If he was, then anyone who crossed him before the calamity that he was supposed to save the world from, would definitely suffer. 
It would be a good thing for them if he didn't personally step in to deal with them. However, it would be definite that he would not do anything to save them from the pending disaster.
Alas, everyone had underestimated this saviour. As someone who had come across the Great Calamity before, Plato knew the importance of unity. In front of such a massive threat, it was no time to be holding grudges and stabbing people in the back, even if they deserved it.
They needed as much manpower as they could get, and considering the size of the Beast Emperor's armies, they would need a humongous number of soldiers to fight them back.
The Ashikage's had gone out of their way to notify all the other ancient families in Japan. Their line of thought was that if they could not hog him, then the Miyamoto's and Hattori's shouldn't be able to either. In any case, having more support would be good for him, right? They could also take the chance to kiss *ss and lick his boots.
It was a strange sight to see so many ancient families wanting to suck up to a single, young man who, in this lifetime, had yet to draw blood. 
But, reality was often not what one pictured it to be. Plato would not play favourites, even for the Miyamoto and Hattori families. In his view, it would be a good thing to suddenly gain so much support, but it was inconsequential when it came to deciding who he would give benefits to. Why? Because he wanted all the benefits to be shared by the human race, as a collective.
People nowadays barely thought this way, and even in ancient times, it was a school of thought that did not propagate. It could be said that only someone like Plato, who had truly seen the end of humanity, could think like this.
Therefore, all the worrying that the ancient families were doing was wasted on Plato. 
However, the target of all these worries, had absolutely no way of knowing what was going on around Japan. He had read the histories of the four elders, and all four had the same prophecy by Amakusa Shirou in their recent logs. Shirou's last sentence before he was killed shook Plato to his core. Even till now, he could not forget the message that the "Administrator" had sent him, let alone the fact that the reason he was still alive was all thanks to this being.
Somehow, Plato intuitively knew that if he wanted to know more about this "Administrator", he would have to fight and defeat the Beast Emperor first.
Therefore, Plato chucked his train of thought into the dark expanse of the back of his mind, and sat down, ready to divulge his future plans to the four elders.
