 “I’m not going anywhere.” Sky said cutting him off as she gave him a cold, rage-filled smile. The male also smiled back; his grey eyes filled with delight. 
	“Then I challenge you.” He said. Sky pulled her fans from their belt.
	“Fine. Dain Caellustria is the witness. I’ll get him and meet you at-”
	“Why go anywhere?” The male asked conversationally as Sky felt air moving above her head. 
	She jumped to her right as a blade of air slammed into the ground. She dodged again as a yellow gray bolt of air flew at her. Left, right, back, down, over, she moved. 
	She knew she couldn’t keep this up though. Unfurling her fans, she ran at him, dodging as she closed the distance. A big, blue-gray cloud appeared in her path and seeing it, Sky hesitated a second too long. One of the smaller darts bit into her left side. She was too angry to feel it, even though it tore deep into her flesh. 
	The cloud started moving for her. As quickly as she could, she spoke the words for the magic shield spell. It exploded into being around her just in time. The cloud hit it and a violent wave of magical energy ricocheted back at the male. He doubled over as it slammed him into the wall. 
	This was her chance! Sky surged forward breaking her shield spell and sliced at him with her fans. 
	He grinned and spun, a sword flashing into existence in his hand. Hastily, Sky twisted to the side. The male’s thrust went past her. He swung sideways at her. Sky blocked with her right fan while she struck for his neck with her left. She felt a pop in her right wrist as the male jerked back out of her reach. Spinning forward with her fan blades out, Sky pressed him back. 
	She kept up a furious string of attacks but everyone she made he countered at the last second. Then she realized it. He was toying with her. Seeing the expression on her face change, the male smiled and began attacking in earnest. It was all Sky could do to block. As she spun to the left to avoid his sword, a dagger that she hadn’t seen traced fire down her back as it cut her deeply. 
	Sky staggered panting as she tried to catch her breath. 
	“You know, you’re pretty good.” The male jeered. Sky looked at him. He was smiling again but it didn’t reach his eyes. They looked like death. “You’re just no match for me...

Kitty had finally made it to her dream school after years of hard work. This school only allowed the elite, anything less than 80/100 was an automatic suspension from the school. The school only allowed to do students to do things that seemed worthwhile. It encouraged studying, only allowed them to watch educational TV. Kitty, however, faced one problem: when a boy named Uno catches her playing videogames in her dorm, with manga scattered all across the floor, can he keep it a secret?

The trio entered university and started searching their classes after their orientation. New place seems lively and even can say, still one of quite few places in earth which looks greenish with oldest building architecture.

The greenish trees on the sides of the pathway and the class buildings resemble like monuments. We can say that the latest technology kicks in few places which is lavish on other side of the campus like Cafe, Browsing centers, Lively radio station etc. So it's like a better blending of ancient architecture with latest technologies.

Amused by these new surroundings, the trio walked hand in hand to their class. After finding the better seating places, the usual class buddies and lectures introduction happened. 

To describe about the trio., 
Nasina, who looks like nerd and also doodles a lot whenever she sees a chance. Her dream is to be a cartoonist.

Lyna, carefree girl, friendly and a chatterbox kind. This devilish Cutie's dream is to be a Radio Jockey.

Mythi, a silent observer, matured and anytime go to girl for any help. Unlike any person, she gets mysterious dream which is more like if Hollywood hears it, they will make it into a super dooper movie.

One common thing about all three girls is that they like the term friendship and wanted to be a part of it till the end of their lives. Also they believe that the world is still alive, because the term friendship doesn't die yet. 

As the day reaches the evening, they started leaving together for home. On the way, Lyna asked, "What's your shortest dream to do right now in life?"

Nasina puzzled and said, "I'll take a course online and shortly will become webtoonist soon".  Mythi asked back, "What about you Lyna?"

Lyna started talking for so long and Ultimately she wanted to be popular radio Jockey in short.

Nasina and Lyna now have their gazes on Mythi which opted like it's her turn now. "I wanted to know why I'm getting dreams which is totally different from my reality and dig more on what mystery I'm involved in"

Nasina and Lyna bedazzled and asked what's exactly her problem is. At first Mythi thought unlike other friends, these people also will leave her shortly after hearing her explanation.

Mythi said, "I used to get dream which some time feels like there is a other world and it wants to contact me. But most of time after I woke up, My eyes would be having a trace of dried up tears."

"Few times I remember the bits and pieces of the dream and few times I don't even know what happened. My day moods up based whether I remember something from my dream or not"

Lyna and Nasina analyzed the feel in Mythi and they said, "Come on, now we are here and we will find a solution for your problem. And also don't keep things to yourself, share it."

Lyna giggled and said, "We might be your savior who knows"

After Mythi reached her room, again she felt the presence of someone. By mistake she said her thoughts aloud now, "Already I'm haunted with my dream and now the reality also started haunting me. Soon I need to find solution behind why I'm getting totally different kind of dream unlike other humans?"

After hearing her concerns, suddenly it moved away from her and it also wanted to know more about Mythi. This sudden drifting movement was felt by Mythi, so she turned around to see!!!

Mythi moved to a new place but still the older dream of her keeps on haunting. She is trying her best to behave like a normal person in the new environment.

But she knows she might fail miserably, hence as usual she plans to keep herself out from everyone. In a drift moment, her life is about to change upside down with the help of her own courage, an unknown soul and her friends.

Love traverses through various journeys in reaching every human's life.

Can love help in solving a mystery or Can Mystery help in finding the love?

The world-renowned integrated shipping company owning a fleet of 708 levitating container vessels as of today.

It is said that 18 years ago Fine Gold Merchants were just small-time merchants in Sky Blossom City about to go bankrupt until a young promising underdog bought the sinking company for peanuts and turned it into the golden goose it is today.

The young promising underdog is none other than the current chairman of Fine Gold Merchants Diana Keith, an orphan slumdog with a heart-winning, struggle filled, story of her rise to power. 

Diana Keith is the sky blossom city legend, stories of how a brothel orphan from the western zone slums climbed to the heights which one could only dream of have become the local lore. 

There are many other local lores about Diana and her rise to power but the most impressionable one is the Scarlet Parade. 

Scarlet Parade, 18 years ago one fateful night, 17-year-old Diana overthrew the Sky Blossom City underworld forces with her hooligan troops of 12,000 high school students including 6,789 card students and 5,211 mortal students.

That night the streets of sky blossom city were dyed red with the blood of gangsters. The city lord had to intervene and implement martial law to deal with the gang wars.   

It is said Diana was so charismatic that she single-handedly united the students of all high schools in Sky Blossom City forming the largest gang in the city amounting to 70% of the underworld forces in the city

Until the gang was so big that it swallowed the city's all underworld forces as a whole, gaining total control over Sky Blossom city underworld. 

Diana is one badass S.O.B as they come. After graduating high school she did not go to college instead bought the Fine Gold Merchant climbing to the top of the world's power ladder.

In the year's to come many high schoolers have tried to recreate the legend of the Scarlet parade but failed devastatingly.

"Sorry, Wyatt I could not hide your identity." Apologised Susan. 

Looking at two female guests she brought with her I said, "I never asked you to." 

"What?" 

"Did I ever ask you to hide my info?"

"No, I thought it was implied." 

"Forget it, won't you introduce your friends."

"Oh! She is Debra Khan, my childhood friend and this is…"

Seeing Susan hesitate not knowing how to introduce her, the blonde woman next to Debra said, "For now I am nobody to you but if you pass the test I am the best thing ever happened to you."

Hearing the arrogance and pride in the blonde woman's voice with the expressionless face of hers I knew she was the one Susan was apologising for. 

Looks like releasing 40 perfect rating F-rank female armour cards in the market created a larger splash than I thought it would. I seem to have underestimated the difficulty behind the creation of a perfect rating card. 

Excusing ourselves, Susan explained to me the situation while Corey attended to the guest. 

Debra and Susan are more than just childhood friends, they were classmates who graduated high school together. 

Since they had not stepped into the card student realm yet they chose to work as a sales executive at guild association mall. 

Debra was lucky and stepped into the card student realm 2 years after joining the guild association mall, unlike Susan who stepped into the card student realm just a few days ago.

19-years-old Card apprentice Debra decided to quit as a sales executive and chase her dream of becoming an adventurer. Finally joining a well-known adventure guild, The Raven Guild. 

Since Debra was a late bloomer she was offered a 5-year term employment contract with harasser conditions by the raven guild. Yet she chose to sign as with this she would be finally able to achieve her dream and they promised to help her create her origin card using the guild resources if she happens to find her fated ingredient within the employment term.

Rising to the challenge Debra fought all odds and achieved the card soldier realm within 5 years even though she was only a bronze grimoire holder. 

Seeing her hard work and achievements the guild was considering offering her a high-level contract and extending her employment term. Debra was also considering extending her contract but things changed in her last mission.

A team of 200 card apprentices were tasked to clear C rank field dungeon Centaur Graveyard and collect undead related ingredients for the guild. Debra's team was among these card apprentices. 

This mission was a walk in the park as 200 card apprentices were overkill for this mission. One of the perks of being a member of a huge guild. 

After defeating the field dungeon boss Skeleton Centaur Knight Debra found her first fated ingredient among the remains of the dungeon boss, the femur of the Skeleton Centaur Knight.

Debra was overjoyed to find her first fated ingredient but did not know if she was lucky or unlucky to find her fated ingredient on the last day of her employment term. 

Thanks to the contract Debra was able to get the fate ingredient without spending a penny but since her contract ended the very next day she was not able to create her origin card using the guild resources.

Debra was satisfied with just getting her fated ingredient. But the offer for extending her contract term she was waiting for never came. 

Turns out the guild valued Debra but not enough to gamble guild resources to help create her origin card and they decided against extending her employment term. 

As a card soldier with 5 years of experience, Debra had a good resume but having a fated ingredient was her baggage, Debra would easily be able to join any guild if she did not demand the creation of an origin card using the guild resources. Since no guild was willing to gamble a small fortune in helping her create an origin card. 

Finding a fate ingredient is a very rare incident not many card apprentices find it. Knowing this guilds all-around world use the promise of creating the origin card as bait in their contract to lure fresh blood and it works every time. 

Susan only about Debra finding her fate ingredient but not about her being unemployed. So after knowing the complete story Susan backed off in understanding. 

Just when Susan had given up any hope of turning Debra into a client. The blonde woman crashed their reunion. 


Dr. Dalton Wyatt, a world-renowned Scientist, and Inventor is transmigrated to the body of a high school student Dalton Wyatt who committed suicide due to unfortunate circumstances and complicated life. 

The new world was completely different yet similar to Dr Wyatt's homeworld earth. 

Unlike peace full earth where humans fought other humans, This new world was plagued with Dungeons and Monsters people here fought with monsters for the survival of humanity. 

Mortal humans were not strong enough to fight these mythical and legendary creatures, thankfully some blessed humans could actively control their soul to manifest soul power and become Card apprentices to fight for the humanities chance at survival. 

Card apprentices are people who contract grimoire and use various powerful yet resourceful cards to fight off the monsters and conquer dungeons. 

Grimoire provides the card apprentice with abilities like Card creation and Card fusion, most importantly it allows the Card apprentice to display their full potential in a cardfight. 

Even though this world has the concept of science but it is not focused on electronics and industrialisation like back in the earth, here the world has cards for every little thing's eliminating the need for electronics. 

This new world is highly focused around grimoire abilities Card creation and Card fusion. 

Coming to a world where money could literally buy him strength Dr Wyatt had to earn money for his survival. 

But thanks to his otherworldly information and knowledge, card creation comes easily to Dr Wyatt compared to other card apprentices. 

Dr Wyatt creates and sells various perfect, powerful and resourceful cards to earn money and get stronger step by step in this monster-ridden world for his survival.

I always see myself as a successful woman in the next 10 years. I see myself as a teacher, a wife, a mom, best selling Author, counselor, encourager. 


I see myself with my own car, my own house, my own money, owner of a nails salon and many more things. Some of these goals are long term goals and some are short term goals that I will accomplish.


It's not how you start, it's how you finish! If you have a dream, trace it, don't you dare give up until you get that Job, don't you dare give up on that business that's failing, don't you dare give up on your marriage, you want a child but you can't get any, where is your faith?



Don't give up on your dream!!! Prove your enemies wrong, show them what you can do, show them that no matter what happens you're gonna fight back!!!


Stop saying you can't, and start saying you will!!!


I once listened to peoples opinion and tell myself that they were right, but I learned that I cannot throw stone at every dog that barks at me, well if I do will I reach my destination? Hell no I wouldn't...

My pain, my dreadful past, my happiness and other things that I'll leave for you guys to find out is in this book. Not many people like to talk about their past and things they went through/the things they have to put up with but as for me I want you all to know my background.

 I don't only want you guys to just see the best part of my life/my best moments I want you guys to see me at
my worst as well.

Many people don't remember where they're coming from but as for me, my memories at my weak points, all the pain and all the negativity I have to put up with, will forever live inside of me not because of covetousness but because my pain made me into who I am today. I truly hope this book will not only grab your attention but to let you know the writer writing the book more ( Which is me of course) and also teach you lessons that could help you with the challenges you're facing today or tomorrow.


I don't know how long this book will be but I'm sure it will be worth reading and worth your time. CLICK                                     – a term used to count the distance when using SENKOU. For a beginner one (1) click is a movement of a minimum distance of 3 Kilometers under a minute and a maximum distance of 5 Kilometers under a minute, varying from individual skills and training.
 
SHUKUCHI                                          – Another generic Maneuver Skill that allows an individual to enter an opponent's Safety Zones.
ZONES                                  – are individuals combat areas: Safety Zone (represented by the color White), Observation Zone (represented by the color Green), Warning Zone (represented by the color Yellow), and the Danger Zone / Combat Zone (represented by the color Red)
SAFE ZONE                          – is the zone that is our comfort area, where we are completely defenseless.
OBSERVATION ZONE    – is the zone that allows a combatant to observe and asses a certain opponent
WARNING ZONE              – zone that informs us that danger is fast approaching
COMBAT ZONE                 – zone that informs the combatant that the opponent is within combat reach
SIL                                                          – currency of the 8 midnight kingdoms, 1 SIL is equivalent to 100Pesos.
 
DREAM DRIVE SYSTEM                  – [DDS] is a system that was created to give life to an ideal community.
DREAM DRIVE DEVICE    – [DDD / D3 / DEVICE] looks like an ordinary Cell-phone, but is actually a tool that allows one to cast and store SONGS, SUMMONED BEINGS and WEAPONS. The storage value is dependent to the RANK and ROLE of an individual to its Kingdom.
 
WEAPONS                                          – Weapons created by "Dream Drive System" although they are illusions the harm can still be fatal.
REGALIA                              – 8 in numbers, only the kings of each kingdom possess and can access these ultimate weapons [Actual forged weapons not related to the DDS, but can still kill illusions]
EMBLEM                              – Swords given to worthy individuals, numbers are unknown [Actual forged weapons not related to the DDS, but can still kill illusions]
HEIRLOOM                         – Named Weapons with the insignia of the kingdom, given to officer ranks in each kingdom, such weapons in this category is unique. Forged by BLACKSMITHs SKILL in the DD System
BLANK SLATE                     – Lower class, nameless weapons more commonly known as SLATES that are often bought in shops or forged by a blacksmith, since they are blank slates and nothing is written on them they have the ability to grow and evolve to become an HEIRLOOM or even an EMBLEM.
 
SUMMONS                                         – a term to call forth contracted beings to aid in combat. These beings just like the weapons are born from the "Dream Drive System", needs actual academic and non-academic intelligence to summon the beasts. IQ is converted as INT as it is scanned through the "DEVICE"
In the Midnight Congregation individuals cannot buy summoned creatures, rather they are tamed or called forth.
Two ways to make a contract:
1.       Gather SPRITES, which can be collected after defeating REMNANTS. These SPRITES then are used as medium for summoning using algorithms to randomly summon an AESIR;
2.       Subdue a REMNANT and make him your SERVANT.
SPRITEs – affinity SALAMANDER (火fire), UNDINE (水 water), GNOMES (土earth), JINNS (風wind), JASPER (雷lightning), WISP (光light), IMPS (闇darkness) and LYRICS (音sound). By gathering them in numbers you have a good chance to summon the being that you imagine.
AESIRS                                  – Higher Order Beings, God Class Summons or Hero Class Summons, needs a great amount of intelligence and concentration. Summons in this type of category are unique and therefore can only be summoned one at a time by an individual contractor. 
Summoning AESIRS needs quite an amount of Intelligence and Imagination to summon one and a very high Concentration to control one.
Once summoned, the being will be "REGISTERED" through the user's D3 and into the DDS. 
The requirement for another SUMMONER to contract the same AESIR is to have:
·         INT (the initial summoner's INT) + 30% INT (the current summoner)
SERVANTS                           – beings which varies in different forms and sizes. They are ranked from A to F, A being the strongest. Another is S Class as special creatures, which are rarely seen roaming around. REMNANTS who sign contracts with Residents of the each of the Kingdoms of the Midnight Congregations then are called SERVANTS. 
TRIBUTE                               - A type of summon where the summoner gives something to a SERVANT / AESIR to do something despite the lack of solid contract.
CONTRACT                          - A type of summon in which the summoner calls a SERVANT / AESIR under a contract through a special 'SUMMONING SONG' and/or 'RITUAL'
 
SONG                                                    – a magic casting system stored on lyrics and verses of a SONG, completing the whole song will let you cast the ultimate spell. But for practicality most casters just memorize a single VERSE of a certain SONG to cast different types of magic.
VERSE                                   – a fragment of a SONG, which hold the key to cast magic.
DANCE                                  – a ritual that will increase the destructive power of a SONG. Mental and physical stamina are taken into account so in a practical sense DANCE is rarely used.
 
IUDICIUM REBELION                      – A secret war waged between the King of Illusion together with the 4 gods (SUZAKU (玄武), SEIRYUU (青竜), GENBU (朱雀) and BYAKU (百虎)) vs. some Gangs who converged aiming to stop the king from taking the Philippine Government using the Dream Drive System.
 
INHABITANTS                                    – Aptly coined term to identify the people who belong to any of the 8 kingdoms. Inhabitants are of two types:
                HOUSEHOLD                      – Household are inhabitants that play the role of civilians, they do everything they can to make their kingdoms productive through agriculture, aesthetics, and other methods. 
 
                RETAINERS                          – Retainers are inhabitants that are considered the fighting force of the kingdoms, their duty is to protect the ideal of their kingdom from other kingdoms, protect the secret of their kingdom.
 
JUUSANKA（十三花）             – Lit. Thirteen (13) Flowers - This is the name of the 13 female Knights wearing maid costumes, directly under the leadership from the King of Albion. 

METACLOCK SYNDROME              – Abbreviated as "MTCS" which literally means "beyond the clock syndrome" a sickness that would occur when a non-crested inhabitant sees too much of the illusionary world of the Midnight Congregation where the clock start at 10PM and ends at 4 AM under normal circumstances. Those afflicted will experience hallucination which could lead to mild to serious mental disorders.

In a city that has lost its means to dream, 8 kingdoms rise to create an ideal and peaceful community. But, what will happen if these very kingdoms begins to wage war against the others, risking the Philippine government to get involve. 

Will they risk the peace they long and wage in a full scale war to flourish their ideals... or, will they cling to their status quo  in order to keep their kingdom's individual peace.

As the 8 kings of these 8 kingdoms begin to find out about the others ideals, will peace really become nothing more but a dream. Or, will it in fact become the means for them to understand each other.

SHUKUCHI	– Another generic Maneuver Skill that allows an individual to enter an opponent's Safety Zones.
ZONES 	– are individuals combat areas: Safety Zone (represented by the color White), Observation Zone (represented by the color Green), Warning Zone (represented by the color Yellow), and the Danger Zone / Combat Zone (represented by the color Red)
SAFE ZONE 	– is the zone that is our comfort area, where we are completely defenseless.
OBESERVATION ZONE 	– is the zone that allows a combatant to observe and asses a certain opponent
WARNING ZONE 	– zone that informs us that danger is fast approaching
COMBAT ZONE 	– zone that informs the combatant that the opponent is within combat reach
SIL 				– currency of the 8 midnight kingdoms, 1 SIL is equivalent to 100Pesos.

DREAM DRIVE SYSTEM  	– [DDS] is a system that was created to give life to an ideal community.
DREAM DRIVE DEVICE	– [DDD / D3 / DEVICE] looks like an ordinary Cell-phone, but is actually a tool that allows one to cast and store SONGS, SUMMONED BEINGS and WEAPONS. The storage value is dependent to the RANK and ROLE of an individual to its Kingdom.

WEAPONS 	– Weapons created by "Dream Drive System" although they are illusions the harm can still be fatal.
REGALIA 	– 8 in numbers, only the kings of each kingdom possess and can access these ultimate weapons [Actual forged weapons not related to the DDS, but can still kill illusions]
EMBLEM 	– Swords given to worthy individuals, numbers are unknown [Actual forged weapons not related to the DDS, but can still kill illusions]
HEIRLOOM 	– Named Weapons with the insignia of the kingdom, given to officer ranks in each kingdom, such weapons in this category is unique. Forged by BLACKSMITHs SKILL in the DD System
BLANK SLATE 	– Lower class, nameless weapons more commonly known as SLATES that are often bought in shops or forged by a blacksmith, since they are blank slates and nothing is written on them they have the ability to grow and evolve to become an HEIRLOOM or even an EMBLEM.

SUMMONS 	– a term to call forth contracted beings to aid in combat. These beings just like the weapons are born from the "Dream Drive System", needs actual academic and non-academic intelligence to summon the beasts. IQ is converted as INT as it is scanned through the "DEVICE"
In the Midnight Congregation individuals cannot buy summoned creatures, rather they are tamed or called forth.
Two ways to make a contract:
1.	Gather SPRITES, which can be collected after defeating REMNANTS. These SPRITES then are used as medium for summoning using algorithms to randomly summon an AESIR;
2.	Subdue a REMNANT and make him your SERVANT.
SPRITEs – affinity SALAMANDER (火fire), UNDINE (水 water), GNOMES (土earth), JINNS (風wind), JASPER (雷lightning), WISP (光light), IMPS (闇darkness) and LYRICS (音sound). By gathering them in numbers you have a good chance to summon the being that you imagine.
AESIRS 	– Higher Order Beings, God Class Summons or Hero Class Summons, needs a great amount of intelligence and concentration. Summons in this type of category are unique and therefore can only be summoned one at a time by an individual contractor. 
Summoning AESIRS needs quite an amount of Intelligence and Imagination to summon one and a very high Concentration to control one.
Once summoned, the being will be "REGISTERED" through the user's D3 and into the DDS. 
The requirement for another SUMMONER to contract the same AESIR is to have:
•	INT (the initial summoner's INT) + 30% INT (the current summoner)
SERVANTS 	– beings which varies in different forms and sizes. They are ranked from A to F, A being the strongest. Another is S Class as special creatures, which are rarely seen roaming around. REMNANTS who sign contracts with Residents of the each of the Kingdoms of the Midnight Congregations then are called SERVANTS. 
TRIBUTE	- A type of summon where the summoner gives something to a SERVANT / AESIR to do something despite the lack of solid contract.
CONTRACT	- A type of summon in which the summoner calls a SERVANT / AESIR under a contract through a special 'SUMMONING SONG' and/or 'RITUAL'

SONG 	– a magic casting system stored on lyrics and verses of a SONG, completing the whole song will let you cast the ultimate spell. But for practicality most casters just memorize a single VERSE of a certain SONG to cast different types of magic.
VERSE	– a fragment of a SONG, which hold the key to cast magic.
DANCE 	– a ritual that will increase the destructive power of a SONG. Mental and physical stamina are taken into account so in a practical sense DANCE is rarely used.

IUDICIUM REBELION 	– A secret war waged between the King of Illusion together with the 4 gods (SUZAKU (玄武), SEIRYUU (青竜), GENBU (朱雀) and BYAKU (百虎)) vs. some Gangs who converged aiming to stop the king from taking the Philippine Government using the Dream Drive System.

INHABITANTS	– Aptly coined term to identify the people who belong to any of the 8 kingdoms. Inhabitants are of two types:
	HOUSEHOLD	– Household are inhabitants that play the role of civilians, they do everything they can to make their kingdoms productive through agriculture, aesthetics, and other methods. 

	RETAINERS	– Retainers are inhabitants that are considered the fighting force of the kingdoms, their duty is to protect the ideal of their kingdom from other kingdoms, protect the secret of their kingdom.

ANINO 	– Creatures that came and attacked the Philippines under the whimsical orders of the Cyber King. Unlike the REMNANTS, ANINO have a collective thought, and do not have their own shapes and personalities. However, FEAR from the unconscious minds of those who sees them gives them shapes.

JUUSANKA（十三花）	– Lit. Thirteen (13) Flowers - This is the name of the 13 female Knights wearing maid costumes, directly under the leadership from the King of Albion. 
METACLOCK SYNDROME 	– Abbreviated as "MTCS" which literally means "beyond the clock syndrome" a sickness that would occur when a non-crested inhabitant sees too much of the illusionary world of the Midnight Congregation where the clock start at 10PM and ends at 4 AM under normal circumstances. Those afflicted will experience hallucination which could lead to mild to serious mental disorders.



A day later, Sir Boripe was in his office when his Secretary came to inform him that the Mayor want to see him, he told the Secretary to let him in.
     Although Sir Boripe knew why he has come, yet he extended a deep courtesy to him, he stood up to receive him, something he seldom do for him before. He said to him, "To what honour do I account this your visit My Mayor, good morning"
The Mayor did not pretend to return the courtesy, he stepped straight into the burning issue that drove him here, he said, "Sir, iam surprised that you can pretend that you have respect for me when you indeed do not.
     Sir Boripe too put aside courtesy and took up the matter with him, he said, " I know why you feel I do not have respect for you but hear this, that you saw us picking form as opposition to contest for the office of the Mayor does not mean I do not respect you, I believe politics is a game that keeps men on their toes and force them to reach out for perfection, if you face no opposition you will believe you have achieved the best that anyone could achieve, whereas there is great room for improvement before we can have a dream city"
     The Mayor looked at him and said, "I wonder what I did to offend you that you could not call and tell me, and if you respect me as you say why didn't you tell me those things I could do to make this city a dream city as you say. In my two tenures in the office, there was no time I did anything without consulting you and all other eminent citizens of this city, so why do you now raise a team against me Sir Boripe?"
      Sir Boripe answered and said, "It is not about you offending anybody My Mayor, it is about our tradition, of a truth the law allow three terms but in this city we only give people two terms, if you want to do well you ought to consult with us before you began to push for this third term"
      The Mayor looked at him and said, "Well, I am sorry for that, but it is the people who came to me of their own volition to ask me to push for this third term, and their reason was that it will give this city the great opportunity that had eluded our men who had aspired to be the Governor of our state, if I can do this third term it will improved my chance of clinching the office of the governor when I push for it, and that will bring glory to our people"
     Sir Boripe looked at him and said, "Then the people are the ones causing this trouble, because they came to me to ask for a candidate, and the women specifically said they want a female Mayor because our city is the only first class city in the country that is yet to have female Mayor like the rest, so when they came to me I nominated Tolu and they accepted her"
       The Mayor in annoyance said, "That is a lie, the people want me to go for the third term so that it will improve their opportunity of having a son of this land in the Governor's office"
      Sir Boripe pretended to take offence as he said, "Do you say I am a liar, my friend that is an insult, you can't come to my office and insult me, I demand an apology or you leave my office now" The Mayor knew he cannot swallow his words because it will mean he agreed that he is the one lying, so instead of apologising he said, "I have done so much for this city and the people want to reward my selfless service please don't stand in the way of it"
     Sir Boripe said, "My demand still stand, apologise or leave my office" 
The Mayor said, "I have come to make you see reason and show you what this city stand to gain through my third term bid, and I want you to know the whole land is behind me, but if you will not listen to me I will leave"
      Sir Boripe replied, "The people will decide who is a liar among the two of us with their votes, go and set your campaign machineries in motion we will see on the election day Mayor"
    With fuming the Mayor said, "How I wish you will save yourself the wasting of money time and energy, because it will amount to nothing. This land is behind me, even the unseeing ants walking on the ground of this land will rise and campaign and vote for me!"
     With this, Sir Boripe laughed and said, "My dear Mayor your over confidence induces laughter!/But who needs ants when I will even enlist you to campaign for our candidate?" 
    The Mayor looked at him like a mad fellow and asked, "You will enlist who to campaign for your candidate, you will enlist me? You are a comedian, but I will abide by your first sensible word, the people shall decides who is a liar between us" 
     He said this and moved out with pricked conscience because nobody came to him to demand or advised his third term bid. But he is so confident that his propaganda will see him through. As for Sir Boripe, yes some people came to him to ask him to rise against this third term bid; but non knew how he will succeed against this established and loved candidate; especially now that he presented a female candidate in a city that even females don't approved female candidates, and the female he presented is a controversial one that still have a major unresolved issue around her.
      However, voting will be so easy for the people of the city because the election is two horse race, all other people swallows the Mayor's lie and non ventures near the electoral office to pick form for the Mayor's office.

He was in the deep gutter of jungle justice, in a matter of minutes he'll loose his life for crime he did not commit; and from the blues she stepped out to expose the real criminal and saved him.
Though nothing could match what she has done, but to show gratitude he helped her to secure a job where he worked and this caused a rift between him and his girl friend who was a born with silver in the mouth neighbour of his saviour.
With this girl friend annoying needless tantrums, he dumped her and decided to focus on the saviour, but she refused for a long time until he cleared off her chief reason for saying no through a special arrangement, and they started a sexless relationship which he  really did not like.
After a while in their cat and mouse sexless engagement, the criminal that she exposed to save him showed up with acid plastic and ruined her beauty.
With her beauty ruined he lost interest in her and dumped her for her traitorous friend. This set them up for a long journey of deadly vengeance. This book is a book for the strong hearted who can have food on the table and be glued to printed page that cant be put down to be read later!
