Perhaps it was a sign of pity, but the voice had left a thick sensation of death that awakened even the most lethargic survival instincts. The feeling of crisis made even Robert fear for his life, something had to be done, be it a dream, or a trick, or reality, thinking about it was not important, surviving yes.
But then the adrenaline was back under control, and his mind could think clearly. Was it really worth it, he wondered, but for him the answer was already decided ...
Being on the eighth floor, he gave her enough height to see many things: creatures apparently out of a low-budget science fiction movie, along with others that seemed from a medieval fantasy without much originality. He saw dragons, technology, lights that were probably magic, but if ever as a child he had yearning, not right now. He did not feel any emotion, and he did not care about his family and friends, they would not look for him, he would not look for them. If he was going to die, better here, maybe he is too tired to run through the streets. I'll sleep, he decided. And so he did so.
Although many dream of a dystopian future similar to this, the reality in the modern world, mostly peaceful, with a minimal population prepared for a war situation or high stress; With these parameters, there would only be an insignificant resistance, if there were such a sudden change, the monsters would have a feast served, humanity would have to be prey; to believe otherwise would be stupid.
This new world was filled with rivers and seas of blood, bits and pieces of objects and people scattered randomly; mankind shattered on every level. That day humanity should have perished, but that day, nobody died, they revived minutes after being defeated, a special rule without penalties, valid during the first fifteen days of the apocalypse, but the aftertaste that death leaves, the sensation of being chewed alive, each new and innovative form of death waiting, all of this is beyond comprehension by sanity, beyond acceptable, but madness was also forbidden in this new world, delusions would provide no exit to hell. The new world systems relieved the psyches just enough to allow them to resist and continue to fight. There was no rest.
While the world burned in calamity, the protagonist slept.
It was not the first time that he did something similar. His personality had been twisted until his own life began to lack meaning, but he was not a character in some special way.
From the time he was a boy full of snot, whose emotions change with small stimuli, to the current me of him who sleeps in the middle of an apocalypse, his emotions were wearing away in steps; but not because of a serious trauma, nor an iron decision, or some distant promise. If people saw his soul, they would only observe a boring person. As mentioned, he was not a special character, he did not possess any extraordinary gifts, nor a unique past ... he was just a person without wishes.
His life could be summed up in a bland black and white film, giving a sense of unreality, meaningless, where everything seemed to have a prepared script, but that was, perhaps, the only thing he liked about himself.
He performed the same routine every day, taking the same time each day for breakfast and brushing his teeth, and every other activity on his list; It is not that he was a perfectionist or had some obsessive compulsive disorder, just as long as he did the activities on his list, the small differences are not that important, nor do they cause him any discomfort. His whole day was planned, it is something that made him feel safe and calm. But in society there are too many unknown factors that make it impossible to follow such a simple planning, so he began to use action-reaction planning, a list of options to certain stimuli that allow him to reach an end.

The abilities were awarded right after the voice finished speaking. I do not know what you believe, but, in most novels that I have read, they always start with a system full of details, many functions and buttons to click; but as the story progresses, they are fading, forgotten, and only appear to save the day. what a coincidence! They are more like magical godparents who fulfill wishes.
 Obviously, the system cannot be the protagonist either, but you have to make them useful.
And with respect to the rules of the "game", they must understand that even cheats are within the rules. In games everything must follow the rules, especially if you have the power to turn the world into a "video game", it would be ridiculous to leave those bugs.

[The abilities]
When I read, in most novels, there are only explosions, and the name of the abilities. What are they? How are they used? Or any other detail, it just doesn't exist.
I just need something minimal, to be able to imagine it better.

From my own personal perspective, no matter how crazy the world you create is, by itself, it is not without logic; but, you should not contradict yourself in later chapters.
Or so I want to try.

Must be due to the wall of fire at the dream auction and for using it to gather people while wiping out the stolen items at the auction.
A reporter who had appreciated the wall of fire must have given me the title.
 
Fortunately, the public were focused on the endless misdeeds of Byeon Soonhui and his people that they forgot about the mysterious red wall thief.
The problem was what came after.
It occurred when I anonymously returned the national heritage items to its rightful places.

They uploaded and shared this list publicly, mainly to Yeom Junyeol's overseas fans. And were headstrong and brazen not caring about the possibility of being sued.
There were high-quality photos of individuals.
The past misdeeds, evidence, and personal information of the auction participants.
It also contained a detailed summary of the current dream auction investigation process.
After the dream list was publicized.
Those that had been luckily sidelined due to the vast number of investigation suspects, were exposed via the dream list.
Those with their names exposed on the name list raised an outcry of defamation.

With the upcoming start of school, we decided to meet up for a meal Sanghoon was treating.
The question was whether to go for the air hotel's snow and air winer special buffet.
Or the famous french patisserie player's limited edition dinner course commemorating his visit to Korea.
The three of us debated over quantity and quality.
If we wanted to go for quantity, the buffet was the right choice.
But Namwook suggested that we familiarise ourselves with table manners for the upcoming official players' event.

We had already received the notification of our class allocation…
I was in a class close to Sanghoon.

When I had checked the allocation notification via the wearable device, as a result of my deal with the Chairman, I was allocated to class 0.

Being a Virtual reality, just like reality, infinite possibilities exist. Take for example, a mission to slay a dragon. A player can successfully kill the dragon but with low health left, whereas another can succeed with his/her HP above 50% or even 70% and so on. As such, there are different rewards given by the system based on performance, whereas the Basic Reward is given by the mission. The System's personal reward could be given in the form of an increase in loot rewards or increase in Basic Mission reward depending on the sort of mission.(AN : all these infos are stated on the forum by the producers and some info guilds, to be known later).

Just like Black Rock Town, Riverdale Town is one of the 12 subsidiary towns under the secondary city, Black Rock City. Similarly, Riverdale is also a primary town flourishing in such wealth and culture that one might not realise that it is actually just a town. Home to merchants, lesser nobles, artisans and people from various communities, it also happens to be one of the towns players can be spawned into upon initial entering into Infinite Realm.
 
Located in this culture joint is the Green Relish Pub. A medium sized pub with quality drinks, food and accommodation at a cheap price, the Green Relish Pub ended up being a gathering place for most players.
 
 
"Hey, did you hear?", a level 1 assassin said once he into stepped the Green Relish Pub, ignoring the NPCs while focusing on the players.

1) Remember when we talked about rewards based on performance…, well if a player completes this mission better, they get more [[Void Silver]] ingots.
2) Yeah, Fudo spent 20 copper coins plus his beginner's sour wine (% copper coins worth) to get Levi to talk while others spent 30 copper coins. That is because the NPC has initially felt that he shouldn't give anyone else the mission but more wine made him talk, and yeah the NPC 's have feelings.The game producers made them more realistic.)
 
"Why should we trust you ?" a player asked the question in all their minds.
 
"Because the player who found the mission couldn't monopolise the rewards due to a group of people interfering and that said player is me" the assassin replied with a smile that didn't look like one.
 
"Why am I waiting ? " standing up quickly, the berserker who had spoken earlier ran out of the pub together with some players.
 
"Boss, should we ?" looking at the bearded middle aged man sipping beer, a level 2 cleric asked.
 
"Don't bother, the fact that the news has already reached here means it's either fake or it has been popularised. If it's the first, no problem but the second simply means we can't monopolise it." The one who answered was a middle aged swordsman who sat at the same table with him.
"We might as well spend our time levelling up."
 
"Even so, we should try." Still persisting, the cleric spoke worriedly.
 
"Can you two just be quiet and let's see what the leader says." This time, it was the last man on the table, an elementalist who spoke up.

"Sure Boss, with Dream Tiger on the job you can count on me." Recovering fully from his shocked state, White Zero stated with full confidence after which he stood up and left the pub.
 
"Swift Blade, our levels are still low so I want you to head over with our current main force and reach level 5 at the very least before you take on any mission. Understood ?"
 
"Yes Boss." With a wry smile, the swordsman left the pub leaving behind only their boss and the elementalist.
 
"Are you sure about revealing Dream Tiger this early?" Seeing as there was only the two of them, the elementalist addressed the man with familiarity. 
"I thought you were keeping him as a trump card against the other guilds?" One has to know that in their guild, Dream Tiger is the third strongest in their guild lacking behind the elementalist and the middle aged man, who happened to be their guild leader.
 
Apart from that, he was currently one of the youngest experts in the guild, showing the massive potential ha has. As such, Dream Tiger had been kept hidden from public eye, improving his martial arts and combat standard. That was until 2 years ago when he made his massive debut for the guild in another VR game, taking on 5 expert class players from a rival 2nd tier guild, Great Ark, and coming out on top with his opponents all dead. Apart from that, he also had other battle records which was enough to show his strength, after which he was kept away from public eye to undergo special training for a year. Now no one knows what level he has reached, with some suspecting he might be only weaker than their guild leader.

"Whatever you say" Jiro responded, "But you should keep in mind that we ought prepare. From the info I got, at Level 10, we all move to the city. At that point in time, guild wars would end up a common event."

In the end, Daichi became 378th on the "Gamer Expert List" with his battle against Achilles Bow at their HQ in the VR game, taking the 217th spot on the "Greatest Of All Time". One shouldn't look down on his position as the top 200 are peak class experts who rival monster class experts, with some being monster class experts. So those players are normally beyond reach, leaving behind those below 200. In others, apart from monster class experts and their rivals, Daichi's ranks as the 170 strongest ever.

               I woke up everything around me seemed to be foggy I couldn't make out what was happening but sudden jerks around and loud patting of a giant hand on my back made me startle. You can say that was the first sensation I felt vulnerable is what I felt but suddenly nothing else mattered I was taken in by a strong warm embrace it covered me gave me the feeling everything was going to be alright me a fully grow man seemed a bit stupid thinking back on it but it was natural? I know what you must be thinking getting reborn and all and all you can think about is money? well yeah screw you it was completely logical or maybe not am I greedy? maybe who cares. It is too early to think about these things anyway so back to my routine of doing nothing.
               Time kept passing I couldn't be bothered it was boring and I didn't really put much thought on how or why I got here. I kept check on kids around me just following their progression yeah not standing out just be intelligent but not so much that I would be bullied. I was not a problematic child didn't fuss about the food which did appear a bit bland for my taste. Over the year I managed to convey normal things like I need food or I need to pee in sentences. As embarrassing as that is, I managed to find out something's were definitely different about 'this' me. I also learned my name is "Igneius". Pretty cool naming sense derived from ingenium meaning gifted? talented? more or less accurate.
               Well after I got comfortable, I did what any adult would do started reading and planning. Can't be getting complacent. This life whoever blessed me with it I may have been an error mistake in the system as they call it. I decided to take complete advantage of it. My memories of my last life were foggy I couldn't really remember my death hand family which was a boon it itself but I do remember being average in every sense of the word .Even after I kept moving up my classes even up to masters I was average which was weird if I could be average in masters I could surely do better in the university but no maybe I just put in enough to be average or I just couldn't be bothered to put more effort in but in this life I swear I'm going to tear away from the average spectrum.
               Time passed but there was something definitely different about this me I couldn't figure it out an itch that I couldn't scratch. Ignoring it clearing my mind I decided to jot down my list of things to do with this new life of mine. The orphanage I was at was not bad at all they care takers were kind strict but kind I enjoyed the feeling of being independent, was a bit glad even that I don't have to develop feelings towards my 'new' parents. We were provided ample food enough to feel us up completely which was good it its own way since in my 'list' I had in mind I promised to develop 6 packs a bit random but I can do it with proper exercise and watching my diet I know it you best believe it. *cough cough*. Other things on the 'list' were simple things like learning about stocks generating the principle amount to invest and after earning loads travel around the world. Nothing ambitious just enjoy my life and make lots of good memories.
               Just like that another year of my new life passed 17th august 1980, 2 years of my new life passed between running around playing reading from books around the place and meditating which I liked doing just to calm myself and center myself all in all I was adjusting quite well in this life of mine.

A story about magic. It will mainly follow the protagonist in his own adventure and findings about magic. It will be the same time line as the original story but will hopefully follow it's own plot and will continue even after Hogwarts.

Slayer magic fused with his dragon, god, and Incubus bloodline power and made his power become the bane to dragons, Gods, and Incubus/succubus inflicting twice to three times more damage to them. He can activate the Magic form anytime he wants without any side effects. 

Marcus stored the bloodline away as he put on the shoes since it will increase his speed, dexterity, and agility. Marcus ate the glutton devil fruit which allows him to devour and absorb people powers and convert it to his own and the sponge devil fruit allows him to absorb intent, laws, powers, and other things. The sea Devil Curse that was supposed to come with it was devoured after by his bloodline and he can give and take away the sea devil curse to people.

After Marcus finished he then got up and dressed as he laid Aeris on the bed and covered her with sheets so she can sleep as he had Dream begin the transmission. Marcus was brought to a dark space as a giant screen appeared with bloodline option.

information rushed in to my brain crazily. I feel like I'm in a swamp, slowly
engulfed by "information mud"; or in a tornado, blown away by "information
wind". Gradually, my brain stopped trying to analyze whatever entered my brain,
it just blindly absorbs whatever enters. I felt sharp pain at the beginning,
but soon I am completely numb. Only one thought remained in my head: I'll soon
become an idiot if this doesn't stop.

I can't recall exactly how much time has pass before the information transfer is completed.
All I know is I am at the edge of mental breakdown.

What an unbelievable amount of data. My brain is filled with all kinds of things, I
don't expect to remember anything else from now on.

But I soon realize that those information don't work like normal memories. They are
strictly categorized and stored in my brain, so I can call them out whenever I
need to, just like how files are stored in computers.

Whatever, after all that happened, I no longer get surprised that easily.

This kind of storage has its advantage, it is easy to search, and it will never be mixed up
or forgotten. But the disadvantage is also obvious. I need to know something is
in the database to search for it, I can't have something float through my mind.
In other words, unless I intentionally use the database, I would not know one
single thing in it.

So, should I look through these data thoroughly...or should I call that process scanning? My brain has been changed into a weird status.

Luckily, only these external information are stored this way, my original memory is not
changed. At least I don't need to worry about being turned into a robot.

But, the amount of information is far beyond my estimation. I managed to go through one third before I lost interest and jump straight to the last message.
