Chapter 297. Mother (2)
In his past life, Ren's mother had died due to heart cancer. He had always regretted his incapability of having no money to save her in his past life. 
That's why, when he had first returned to the past, he had vowed to save his mother at least this time. All this time, Ren was waiting for the cancer cells in his mother's heart to grow. 
After all, he can't do anything when there's no cancer cells in his mother's body. He even hoped that it would be different this time and no cancer cells will grow in his mother's heart.

Making a decision, he quickly made an appointment in the city's biggest hospital - Huaxia city hospital. Getting an appointment so quickly was not possible, but he took the help of Director Zhao. 
Director Zhao didn't ask him any questions after Ren told him that it was related to his mother. He quickly contacted his friend who worked in Huaxia city hospital and made an appointment.
Ren was grateful for his quick help as he didn't have the time to explain things. 
Like that, Ren and his mother quickly left for the hospital. 
"Ren, why are we going to a hospital? I told you that it isn't a big deal. It's probably something small like inflammation."
His mother glanced at Ren and asked. 
She felt like Ren was making a big deal out of nothing. She noticed that there was something wrong with him. 
Since she had told him about her chest pain, his complexion has changed and he even made an appointment with a cardiologist out of nowhere. 
"Mother, I don't think it's normal that you are having chest pains. So, I want you to have a through checkup, just to ensure that you are healthy."
"I understand, but I don't really think I need a through checkup..."
"Just do it for me!"
Ren cut her off and just said that.
His mother grew silent hearing that. Although she still wanted to object, she knew that Ren was not going to listen to her and he had already made an appointment. 
She can just go through with it.
'I'm sorry mother but I can't explain anything to you.'
Ren focused on driving his car and frowned inwardly. 
He can't tell his mother about the pain and grief he went through in his past life. He also can't tell her that she has heart cancer.
While having those worries in his heart, both of them arrived at the hospital. They parked the car and walked to the reception. 
"Excuse me, I have an appointment with Doctor Jin."
"Yes... Ah!!"
Ren looked at the receptionist who seemed shocked to see him. Ren was already a big star who was not just famous among young people, but every age group. 
The receptionist obviously recognised him at first glance, but Ren was too anxious to notice such things.
The only thing in his mind was his mother. He hurried the receptionist while ignoring all the stares he was receiving from the other people walking around. 
"Miss, can you hurry? I said I have an appointment with Doctor Jin."
"Yes, yes, go to the 6th floor."
The receptionist said hurriedly. She was too confused and nervous to properly react and before she could come to her senses, Ren had already left with his mother. 
"Ren, I think people are staring at us."
His mother whispered to him as she saw people pointing at them and some were even taking photos with their phones. 
"Just ignore them."
Ren frowned seeing people taking photos of him and his mother but he can't do anything. He had forgotten his sunglasses and mask in a hurry and it's not like he can tell people to stop taking photos.
He can just ignore them. 
Reaching the 6th floor, they quickly found Doctor Jin's cabin and entered. 
Doctor Jin was a doctor in his 40s who was quite famous in the medical field as a master in heart surgeries.
Ren shook hands with him and sat down with his mother.
"You made an appointment with me in quite a bit of hurry, Mr. Xin."
Doctor Jin said as he glanced at Ren and his mother. He was surprised when the vice chairman had told him that there was a special patient coming in some hours.
He had thought that it would be a politician or a big businessman, but it was surprisingly a celebrity.
It was not like he looked down on celebrities, but some celebrities would often make an appointment with doctors for minor issues. Doctor Jin hoped that Ren was not that type of patient. 
"I'm sorry for making such a quick appointment but the issue was with my mother and I didn't want to delay it."
Ren said, sounding apologetic while Doctor Jin looked towards his mother.
"What is the issue with your mother?"
"She's been having chest pain recently and I don't think it's normal."
Ren began to explain to Doctor Jin who didn't seem much interested. There can be multiple reasons for a chest pain and any doctor with a little bit of knowledge can easily solve it.
Doctor Jin felt like Ren was just wasting his time.
"Mr. Xin, there can be multiple reasons for chest pain and I don't think it's much of a big deal since your mother looks completely fine from the outside."
"I said the same thing to him but I don't know why Ren is being so stubborn."
His mother intervened and sighed but Ren didn't care about any of this. He simply replied. 
"I know there can be multiple reasons but I think it's some sort of disease."
"Disease?"
"Yeah, something like heart cancer."


Ren, he was someone with great talent in acting and singing but due to bad luck and some wrong choices, he was only able to become a third rate actor.

After dying in an accident, he noticed that he had returned to the past.

With the help of his talents and the knowledge of future, he started his journey to become the trendiest star of the century!

    While Max and Carla were doing their own thing, Selena, Andy, and their family went to look for doctor Mitch so he can do a full check-up to make sure both she and the baby are okay after having a stressful event in her life. When they found the doctor and he spotted them he walked over to them.
"Alright, are you ready for your check-up Mrs.Diaz?" Doctor Mitch asked them with a happy smile when he saw them nod their heads excitedly.
"Yes doctor I am ready for my check-up now," Selena said to the doctor.
"Alright let us go to the exam room so I can do check-ups and then we will do the ultrasound to see how the baby is, I am worried about both of your health so let's get started shall we," Doctor Mitch said and led them into the exam room. Doctor Mitch got started with the examination on Selena's health which is perfect although she has a bit of high blood pressure. When Andy and everyone else heard this they are going to make sure she is less stressed so her blood pressure won't go anymore higher than it already is.
"Alright since that is done let us see if I can grab an ultrasound so I can see how your baby is," Doctor Mitch said before leaving the room. When he was about to turn the corner nurse Marco came around the corner of the hall with the ultrasound that doctor Mitch was going to get.
"Ah there you are doctor I went and got the ultrasound for you while Mr.Diaz and his girlfriend are busy in the room," Marco told the doctor.
"Thank you, Marco, why don't we head to the exam room together then and I can teach you how to use the ultrasound so if I'm busy with other patients and Mrs.Diaz comes in for her yearly check-up than you will know what to do," Doctor Mitch said with a smile on his face.
"Yes, that would be great thank you. Oh and I almost forgot your son called, he said it was an emergency, I told him I will let you know so you can call him after you are done with a patient," Marco said and doctor Mitch just sighed.
"Which son?" Doctor Mitch asked Marco.
"The one that is working at the Military hospital and he also travels with them so if any of the soldiers get injured he is there to help," Marco told doctor Mitch.
"Oh Leo, I will definitely give him a call to see what's going on, for a minute there I thought it was my rebellious son asking for me to get him out of prison again," Doctor Mitch said before he opened the door and entered the examination room that Selena and her family was in. 

"Well nurse Marco was able to find an ultrasound so let's check to see the baby shall we," Doctor Mitch said. He plugged in the ultrasound and called Marco over so he can teach him how to use it. When doctor Mitch had Selena lift her shirt and undo the button of her pants when he put the gel on Selena shivered from the coldness.
"Sorry, it's a bit cold. Now let us see what we have here," Doctor Mitch said. When he got started he asked Andy not to touch her.
"Please Mr.Thomas doesn't touch her I think, yup it is congratulations Mr.Thomas and Mrs.Diaz you are having quadruplets. Here I will print the ultrasound picture and I will have you scheduled for your next doctor's appointment," Doctor Mitch said before leaving so he can call his son Leo.  
   When doctor Mitch left the room Andy looked shocked until he remembered something when they made love eight weeks ago it was the night of the blood moon.
"Oh crap," Andy said looking white at Selena.
"What is it, Andy?" Selena asked worriedly at him.
"When we first made love it was the night of the blood moon," Andy said.
"Is that bad?" Selena asked.
"No, I'm just want to let you know that on the blood moon if you found your life-mate on time you went into heat while I went into a rut," Andy said.
"Oh so on the day of the blood moon our hormones go raging high that we won't stop until the next day," Selena said with a smile on her face while Andy just nods his head and their family burst out laughing while Selena finished wiping the leftover gel on her stomach off then rebutton her pants and pulled her shirt down.
"Don't worry so much we got this Andy I know you will be a good father to our babies," Selena told him while giving him a hug.
"Now let's go and make our next doctor's appointment for our check-up and see if Carla and Max are done in there so we can continue to visit him," Selena said and they walked to the checkout area to make the next doctor's appointment.
"Can I help you?" The receptionist asked while batting her eyelash at Andy.
"Yeah I need to make another doctor's appointment after you are done trying to flirt with my fiance and the father of my babies," Selena said in an irritating voice which had the receptionist flinch.
"Sorry, about that. Name?" The receptionist asked while Andy was hugging Selena from behind laughing silently into her neck.
"Selena Diaz," Selena said to the receptionist.
"Oh Mrs.Diaz, yes the next available appointment is on July second at three pm will that do," The receptionist asked. 
"Yes that will be perfect thank you," Selena said and the receptionist printed out the paper for her next appointment. After that, they all went back to Max's private room to see if they are done so they can continue to visit Max. When they got there Selena knocked on the door and there was no answer so Selena opened the door and walked in only for her and her family to find them together sleeping.
"Well, that escalated fast didn't it?" Selena asked.
"It sure did," Lora said while Andy decided to take a picture of the sleeping couple with his cellphone which had the family chuckling quietly so they don't disturb Max and Carla's sleep.

Andy Thomas thought there was nothing left in his life he didn't even want to live, he thought there was nothing to fight to stay alive until he found Selena Diaz who was kidnapped from her cabin in Carpathia, where she shared with her roommate and best friend Carla who was out with her co-workers partying. Selena was kidnapped from her bed by her brother's ruthless friend Samuel who wanted Selena ever since she was in 9th grade. Now she is 24 years old athlete, she got away from him and ran into the woods where a legendary Rougarou and half Carpathian Andy Thomas found her lying down in the bed of flowers crying because of what happened, but Andy was in his wolf form when he approaches her, he is happy because he finally found his life mate.

Huang Nian went to the hospital with her mother and her assistant. When Huang Nian walked into the hospital, she was smiling inside. The next time she comes here, she will be part of the Wang family and everyone will be treating her with respect. Huang Nian walked with her head held high and completely shameless. She walked directly to the Obstetrics and Gynecology department without an appointment. The receptionist stopped them from entering.
"Ma'am do you have an appointment?"
Mrs. Huang said arrogantly, "Who do you think you are to ask that to my daughter? Do you want to get fired?" the receptionist had seen many people react like this, so she did not get scared or budge.
"Sorry Ma'am you cannot enter without an appointment" the receptionist replied in final tone.
Mrs. Huang scoffed, "Do I have to ask my son in law Wang Yu to get an appointment for his future wife?" the receptionist looked at Huang Nian and recognized her as President Wang Yu's fiancée, Huang Nian. Even if she wanted to let them enter now she couldn't. The doctor was busy with another patient and she could not intrude.
"Ma'am sorry but you cannot enter without appointment. Another patient is consulting with the doctor"
 Huang Nian did not stop her mother. Since she was pregnant now, she thought that nobody and nothing could stop her from becoming the daughter in law of the Wang family. So when mother was yelling at the receptionist loudly, she was standing aside as if her mother was right in doing that. Hearing the ruckus outside, the doctor came outside. The receptionist became quiet when she saw the doctor coming in their direction.  
"What is going on here? Don't you know you have to be silent in a hospital?"
Though the doctor was looking at the receptionist, her words were directed to Mrs. Huang and Huang Nian.
"Doctor my daughter is pregnant with my son in law Wang Yu's child and how long do we have to wait for her first pregnancy check up?"
When Mrs. Huang said these words, everybody present there were shocked. They hadn't received any such information from the higher ups and when Mrs. Huang said that Huang Nian has conceived their President Wang Yu's child everyone was looking at another person's face not sure how to react. This was so sudden that even the doctor stood still for a moment.
The doctor recovered quickly and asked them to come inside. She quickly sent a message to the director about what had happened now. If Huang Nian was really pregnant with Wang Yu's child and if they did not take proper care, she did not want her neck on line. The doctor thought it was better to do all the tests.
The doctor explained to Huang Nian, "I will be checking your blood pressure followed by urine test and blood test. We will also check for S… (the doctor wanted to say sexually transmitted diseases but she stopped herself) I mean the sugar level." If she was really talking to President Wang Yu's fiancée she did not want to say that. She would do all the tests as she normally does but she did not want to say it out loud. That was the normal procedure of the hospital and she did not want to make an exception.
The doctor asked about Huang Nian's diet and inquired about the medicines she was taking currently. Huang Nian said that she was feeling tired often and said that President Wang Yu was very much concerned about her. The doctor asked Huang Nian to drink lots of water and wait for sometime before taking the ultrasound scan.
Li Zi Yun was resting with her body against Wang Yu. She started sweating and she was feeling nauseous once again. Li Zi Yun was restless and couldn't sit still in a position.
"I want to puke"
Wang Yu looked outside. There was no chance of getting out now. Li Zi Yun tried to control herself but she couldn't. Li Zi Yun puked blood once again and her white blouse was now red in the front. She was feeling dizzy and her body fell backwards. Wang Yu held her tightly but when he saw the blood, he was starting to lose his mind. Li Zi Yun was struggling to stay awake. She tried to focus her concentration on Wang Yu but her eyelids felt heavy and her breathing came in heavy pants.
"Li Zi Yun stay with me. Nothing will happen" Wang Yu was patting her cheeks trying to bring her back to consciousness. Li Zi Yun had fainted and she couldn't hear Wang Yu's screams.
"LI ZI YUN…." Wang Yu screamed her name but Li Zi Yun was out of consciousness.
Wang Yu yelled to the chauffeur.
"WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU DRIVING SO SLOW?"
When Assistant Liu Guang turned behind he was startled when he saw there was blood in CEO Wang Yu's hand and over Li Zi Yun. He urged the chauffeur to drive as fast as he could. Liu Guang gave a call to the hospital and asked the doctors to be ready.
 A stretcher was waiting readily outside the hospital when the car reached the hospital. Wang Yu carried Li Zi Yun outside and laid her gently as the doctors hurriedly took her in. Seeing the tensed state of the Wang Yu, all the doctors understood that the person in the stretcher must be someone extremely important to President Wang Yu. Li Zi Yun was rushed inside and Wang Yu walked swiftly along with her. Wang Yu waited outside while they took Li Zi Yun in. He sat at the chair outside and looked at his hand; he could see Li Zi Yun's blood.
The hospital director was waiting by Wang Yu's side. Wang Yu did not know what to do. He couldn't wait patiently. He was blaming himself. He should have taken her for a full body check up earlier. Wang Yu started pacing up and down. It had been only ten minutes since they took her in but he was already getting restless. After several minutes, the doctors came out.
Huang Nian laid down on the examination table after an hour of waiting. The doctor applied a special gel on her abdomen and pelvic area and Huang Nian was looking a bit nervous. The doctor placed a small wand, the transducer over her belly and moved it. Huang Nian could see a small spot, the fetus where the doctor pointed out. Huang Nian was smiling thinking that their next visit to the doctor will be with Wang Yu as a couple.

Li Zi Yun was the eldest daughter of the Li family but her dad hated her. Her step sister or should she say half sister was always ready to take everything away from her. Her step mother was trying to make her life a living hell. But she was no longer the old Li Zi Yun who was yearning for love.
Her boss was waiting for the moment when he could make her pay for what she took away from him. But she will endure it all. She had nothing to lose. She will not succumb to the situation.
