The mighty dinosaurs who roamed and ruled the earth for 65 millions of years were wiped out by the meteors... but here in the parallel side of the Earth... the meteor didn't came, in order to survive from the dinosaurs some of the humans decided to live underground to hide from the mighty reptiles.

Aella left everyone to scatter to their beds and looked around the city as it started to settle for the evening.  She was tired, but couldn't imagine sleeping at the moment.  Spying Rupert, she had another thing in mind.
"Hey, Rupert, are you busy right now?" she asked.
He sighed and laughed.  "I was getting ready to go rest for the evening.  What did you have in mind?"
"I have someone who wants a bar built.  Do you think you could do that for me before you head off to bed?"
"Where did you want it?" asked Rupert, intrigued.
She thought about that for a moment, then glanced back at the castle.  "Close to the castle, so I can go whenever I want.  I don't want him to have to pay taxes to any of the nobles."
"Hmm.  Well, I suppose there's room.  Let's go see what I can do."
"What did you accomplish today?" asked Aella as they walked towards the castle.
"I finished the arena for Firion and Jogug.  They were pretty excited about it.  I'm pretty interested to see some of the fights.  I've heard demons fight viciously."
Aella nodded.  She had forgotten Firion wanted an arena.  She wasn't sure when Jogug got involved in it with him, but at least Jogug was doing something.  Since moving him over, she hadn't really been keeping up with anything in the city.  She would have to meet up with her advisors to see how things were doing.
Reaching the inner wall, they stopped as Rupert looked around.  The castle took up most of the interior of the space.  There was a sizable courtyard for sparring and practicing, but not really any space for a bar.
"I could change the area over there, and make the barn for horses smaller, since not many of you use them, and put the bar there?" suggested Rupert, pointing over at the small barn that was incorporated into the side of the castle.
"That's a good idea.  If it becomes too much of a problem, I'll have the horses housed in the wall itself," said Aella.
"This barkeeper must be pretty impressive to have you willing to put him up this close to your castle," remarked Rupert, raising an eyebrow as he pulled up his sleeves.
Aella gave a laugh.  "He's not in my league."
"Ahh, alright.  You know, there's a bet going around about who you're going to name as your mate," said Rupert, starting to pull rock up for the walls and foundation.
"Good luck.  I don't plan to even think about that until I'm done with all this moving and traveling nonsense.  I still have to travel to the elves and dwarves."
"Why bother?" he asked, starting on a second floor.  "It's not like we're going to be close to them anymore."
"They hold information about the heroes.  The first demon king gave them the information so the human church couldn't steal it and wipe it out."
"I suppose that's worth looking into.  I never did like the church.  They were very stuck on their rules and ceremonies.  Perhaps that's why I was sent away to babysit the stupid portal.  Sorry about all the monsters I sent, by the way.  I was just following orders."
"I'm sure there are some who don't think so, but I feel that you've more than earned your place here," she said, watching as he finished the roof.
The bar looked perfect.  As they went inside, she had him fix a few things, to match what she remembered from his last bar, and to tweak a few things here and there.  When she decided he was finally done, he headed off to bed, leaving Aella in the empty bar.
How was she going to let Bob know the bar here was done?
Before she could turn around, there was clapping behind her.
"Very nice, though I'm still waiting for the bar in the dwarven city," said Bob.
"How did you… never mind," she said with a shake to her head.
"Go get some sleep, Aella," Bob chuckled, moving behind the stone bar and rubbing his hands over it.  The counter became a deep wood, and bottles of wine began to appear behind him on the shelves that she wasn't sure were there before.
Rubbing her eyes as the bar transformed before her, Aella watched as the stone floor became hardwood and tables began to form with chairs.  Rubbing her head, she decided it was past time for bed and teleported to her room.
"Food!" screamed Ruth, as both her brothers tried to shush her.
Aella quickly jumped back as sharp little teeth snapped where she had just been standing.  Ruth had finished the dinosaur and was hungry again.
"Ruth!  Calm down!" cried Louie as Frank tried to stop her by wrapping his neck around hers.
Aella teleported away, high over the fields to the north of the city.  Below her were grazing dinosaurs getting ready to settle down for the night.  Spying a large herd of strange dinosaurs, she flew closer to investigate them.
They had a bulky body with thick skin, and their heads sported two long spikes jutting out over each eye, and a small horn poking up from their nose.  Along the back of their heads a long bony frill protected their necks.  What kind of predator would they need to have such protection for?  Looking around uneasily, she didn't spy anything else in the area.
Settling her nerves, she thought about killing one of them, but they were so large, it would fill her entire bedroom floor.  She wanted to sleep tonight, and she didn't want to kill a baby dinosaur, so she turned her attention back to the smaller thin ones.  Teleporting close to one, she quickly stabbed it before it could react, then teleported back to the room with it.
Ruth jumped at it, taking quick little bites, almost before it had hit the floor.
"So, sorry about that," said Frank.  "She's always starving!"
"Yeah, it's almost like she got a whole 'nother stomach, just for herself!" said Louie with wide eyes.
"As long as I can finally sleep," grumbled Aella, stumbling over to the bed and falling into it.
She didn't remember falling asleep, but when she woke up, Ruth was staring at her, only inches from her face.
"Are you wake?" she asked loudly.
"Yes, I'm awake," said Aella, not daring to move.
"You get more food?" asked Ruth.
"I can.  Have you eaten all of the dinosaur I just brought you?" asked Aella, edging away from her slowly, and shooting a glance around the room.
"Food all gone.  You get more food."
"She ate it all," groaned Louie, looking at Aella with red, bloodshot eyes.  "It was so hard to keep her from waking you up."
"We didn't get to sleep a wink," complained Louie, shaking his head to try and wake up.
Aella glanced back at the hydra, and noted it had grown since it had hatched.  Their necks were much longer too.
"How much do you guys need to eat?" she asked, getting a sick feeling in her stomach.  How was she going to get them out of here, if they grew too big?  Should she teleport them out now?  Would they eat her people?  What about the animals they needed to survive?
"We can eat forever!" laughed Louie.  "The first king trapped us under the palace and let us eat all of the rats, and anyone who tried to sneak into the underground grotto.  We got used to being hungry, until Firion started bringing us all those demons to eat.  That was awesome!"
"We only stopped growing because there wasn't room to grow anymore," said Frank.  "So, we focused on stretching our necks really long, so we could get the rats that were in the upper floors."
Aella looked over at Ruth in panic.  What was she going to do with them??!
Teleporting over to Bob's bar, she ran inside, spotting Bob behind the bar, and darted over to him.
"Bob!" she cried.  "What do I do?"
"If you release them into the wild, they will eat everything that lives," said Bob, putting a glass on the counter and scooting it to her.
Aella grabbed it and downed the glass.  Slamming it down on the counter, she savored the burn as it went down.  The flavor barely registered.
"There's a magical item that will remove their hunger, but you're not going to like how to get it," he said, taking the glass back and wiping it clean with a cloth.
"How?!" she asked, feeling only slightly calmer.
"Ask Joseph for the ring the mimic ate.  He's probably planning on you asking, and has something in mind that he wants in return," said Bob with a bit of a frown.
Aella felt sick to her stomach.  Who was she to demand something from a god? This had gotten out of hand!  Maybe she should just kill the baby hydra and put an end to it… but she knew she couldn't.  With a groan she lay her head on the counter with a thump.

The demons had been told they were evil for so long, that they believed it.  Aella vowed to change that.  She just needed a hero to help her make them realize it.  But first, she had to become their king...

Follow her as she fights to become the king of the demons, and then goes up against the evils of the human church.

Haley sighed and brushed her hair out of her face as she wiped down the tables at Dans Diner, she was so caught up in her thoughts she didn't see her friend Chance sneak you behind her. She was startled out of her thoughts as he screamed "Ahhhhh!!" into her ear! It felt as if she jumped 5 ft in the air. "Geez Chance! You about gave me a heart attack!" She yelled as she smacked him. 
He was doubled over laughing. "You should have seen your face! Priceless!" He laughed. " Yeah, Yeah, I'm sure it was hilarious". She sighed and rolled her eyes. "What's wrong with you?" He asked. "Oh nothing, just didn't get much sleep." 
"Did your boyfriend visit you again last night" he asked as he wiggles his eyebrows. "He's not my boyfriend, just some annoying man who haunts my dreams." "Maybe he's a ghost?" Chance suggested. "I don't know, maybe" she shrugged. 
"So what did he do to you this time?" He asked. "Oh you know, same as all the other times, public humiliation. This time I was in the middle of the basketball court, trying to make a shot and I managed to miss and completely landed on my face. It was so embarrassing!" She exclaimed. "Have you ever tried calling out to him, asking him what he nears?" Chance asked seriously. " No, I never get the chance honestly. I guess I'm too wrapped up in trying to escape or do whatever pointless task that I never have a chance." She replied. " Well maybe you should do that next time, confronting your fear and calling him out. Maybe that will make the dreams stop." 
    Haley sat there for a minute thinking about it. Why had she never thought to do that. Maybe if she confronted him and asked him what his problem was the dreams would stop. "Chance you're a genius!" She exclaimed. " So I've been told". He smirked. "Anyways call me tomorrow and let me know how it does. She watched him walk out the door with a faint smile. For once she was ready for bed, ready to confront this demon man and find out why he was tormenting her. 
      She spent the rest of her shift coming up with a plan to be able to focus while she was dreaming. She knew that she would have to focus on him and not what she was doing in the dream. That's so hard when you're unconscious! 
      She remembered the first time the handsome man had appeared in her dreams. It was by far the most humiliating of them all. She never mentioned it to anyone, not even to Chance who she was extremely closest to. He had been her best friend since she was eight years old. The dream started as if she was at school, in the cafeteria to be exact. She was walking with her tray of food past the cheerleaders and the jocks, trying to slip past them without being seen. When suddenly she slipped in fell, her face landing straight into her mash potatoes and gravy. Everyone started laughing, as she stood up to leave, she noticed that she was no longer wearing pants and as she looked down she realized that her underwear were large and had a very familiar purple dinosaur on them. She attempted to pull her shirt down but it was too late they had seen. "OMG! Did you see Haley's underwear?! What are you five." They yelled and laughed. "So gross, I told you she was weird." Rachel the head cheerleader jeered. Rachel walked right up to Haley and dumped the rest of her chocolate milk all over Haley's head. Haley attempted to run, she attempted to cry but she could do nothing. Her legs wouldn't work, she was frozen in place. The room became a blur as they laughed and yelled at her. That's when she noticed him, standing in the back, his dark blue eyes staring at her. As she stared at him, pleading him to help her, his lips slowly transformed into a wicked grin. He snapped his fingers and she began to move. Her legs took walked without her command, as if they had a mind of their own. They led her straight to the statue of the school founder Leonard Abraham Wassle. Everyone in the cafeteria stopped and stared, trying to figure out what she was going to do next. Her legs willed her to start climbing up the statue, when she got to the top, looking the statue straight in the eye, she felt as if a hand held her head down. She was pushed lower and lower until her lips met the statues lips. "OMG! She's making out with the statue! What a freak!" someone yelled in the background. Her hand moved to caress the statues hard head. She couldn't control it and she couldn't stop it. She sat there covered in milk, in her Barney purple dinosaur underwear that she hadn't worn since she was six, making out with a statue. She could hear his laugh above everyone else's. It was loud and full of menace. 
   While some would think that these dreams weren't that bad, it was exhausting to dream of public humiliation every night. Especially, when there was nothing she could do about it. Haley had always been very shy and sometimes socially awkward. She liked to keep to herself and hated being the center of attention. These dreams were starting to wear her down mentally. She wanted a break from it all. 
      She looked at the clock on the wall, only two more hours left in her shift before she could go home. She would be ready for him this time. She was ready for answers and she would make sure that she got them.

He came to her every night as she dreamt. Not to romance her, not to seduce her but to torture her. He knew her fears, and he used them against her. Making her live out her humiliations each night, as he hid in the shadows, taunting her with his eyes, his smirk and his menacing laugh. Haley had decided she had enough and would finally stand up to the Dream Demon once and for all.

"My mam will kill me if I lose my new phone." I could feel my stomach get continuously more nauseous as more time passed.

After several months of asking my mother, she finally bought me the new iPhone. I wanted to bring it with me to school today to show of to my friends and after hyping it up for the first few classes we finally got lunch.

"I don't think you're ready for this." I said I'm a proud voice while pulling down the zipper of the front pocket of my bag.

"C'mon we've been waiting all morning." 

"Fine, fine here it i- Huh?" I looked back at the pocket for a second time but to no avail, I then opened the big pocket and looked through it but like the other pocket it wasn't there at this point I was getting a bit panicked.

"Are you alright? You're looking a bit pale." He said as he noticed my expression change.

"I swear I brought my phone with me but I can't find it anywhere."

"Maybe you left it at home. I'm sure it's fine." He said a bit worried.

"..yeah...maybe." Despite saying this I vividly remember putting it in their.

And that brings us back to where we are now. I was so preoccupied I didn't even hear the bell for the last class go off. When I looked around I saw only the teacher was left giving me an odd look.

I quickly put my books back into my bag and left the class room. "Hmmm, Should I go to the principals office? Might as well."

After walking down a set of stairs I arrived at the door with a sign on it saying {Principals office} I slowly pushed open the door and noticed the principle sitting on a desk looking through paperwork.

"E-excuse me sir, did anyone drop off a phone in here by any chance?" I was quite nervous causing me to stutter.

"Oh are you Kyoki Watanabe, some one dropped of an iPhone X here for that name."

"Really, yes that's me." Anyone could instantly see my expression change when hearing this.

"Yes, it's just on the cabinet behind you." He said while pointing to a cabinet behind me.

"Thank you sir, I said while leaving."

"Don't worry, just be careful it looks expensive."

"Yes sir."

I left the office and put my phone back into my pocket without loosening my grip all the way till I made it home.

When I made it home I a woman with brown hair tied up into a ponytail curves in the right places and a loose jumper on in the kitchen she was my mother. Despite being her son she is still quite an attractive woman.

"Hey sweetie, why are you so late today?"

"Huh, um... I told you to stop calling me back." I stumbled my words. I can't possibly tell her I nearly lost the phone I've been asking for, so I thought of that lame excuse while rushing towards the stairs.

"That's strange, he's never been like that before. I wonder if something happened today?" She thought before going back into the kitchen.

"Phew...That was close." I thought before sitting on my bed. I took out my phone before lying back.

When I turned it on to make sure nothing is wrong with it. "I'm surprised no one stole it."

After I looked through my phone I noticed a strange app on it. "When did I download this? [Monster Hunter] huh."

"Never mind I should do homework now." I powered off my phone and placed it carefully on the dresser beside my bed.

"Let's start with maths I guess." I thought while taking out a few books.

A few hours later I heard my mother calling me for dinner . "Dinners ready, come down soon or else it'll go cold."

"Coming" I shouted back in response.

When I came downstairs I noticed my mother sitting down and looking towards me as I came down the stairs.

"What for dinner tonight?" I said while looking at a plate that looks scarily green.

"Hmm, oh this I'm on a diet so I went to the shop and bought anything green I saw. It hard keeping this perfect body." She said in a joking manner.

"Sure, sure but why do I have it?" I said with a raised eyebrow while looking at the green plate.

"Hmph, I'm not doing this alone." She said as she poked through lots of leaves and put it in her mouth.

"Sooo, how is it?" I said as I saw with a grin while I saw her difficulty in swallowing it.

"Ugh...oh um it's lovely why don't you have some." She said while pushing my plate closer towards me.

"Then why are you putting your fork down?" I said with a slight mocking tone.

"Huh. Oh this, I ate earlier don't worry." 

"It's a pity I was gonna ask you to order takeout for me." I said with a suggestive tone slightly laughing.

After I said this she blushed a little before saying "If you insist I guess we should get some."

"But what about your perfect body?" I asked making my voice sound as innocent as possible while fighting back a grin.

After hearing me she blushed even more. "Ah that, don't worry I'll sacrifice it for today."

I made my way back upstairs after a satisfying meal. "Let's see what this app is then?" I sat on my bed and picked up my phone before launching the app [Monster Hunter].

After I clicked on it I saw a loading screen, the icon was a small chibi dinosaur waking in on direction. Underneath the dinosaur I saw some text.

[Tip: Don't die]

"Well no shit Sherlock." I thought as the game changed screen to show the homepage. In the middle of the screen I saw [Campaign] and beside that was [Online] "guessing that is like PvP or something like that.

There were some other tabs but they were greyed out. I looked at the top left of the screen and saw [Profile] when I tapped on it, it shows a chibi version of myself. Beside it was my name. "How did they get my name and why does that avatar look so like me. No it looks exactly like me." Above my name was a level icon. It showed level 0.

I clicked off of profile and looked at [Inventory] when I clicked it all I saw was a wooden sword so I clicked off.

"Let's see what campaign has to offer." When I looked at it I saw an image of my avatar with a wooden hitting a small chibi monster. After clicking the icon the screen changed to show a map of where I'm living. "How do they know where I'm living as well. I never put my location on this phone?"

I noticed on the map over my house was my avatar and around me was some small icons of small monsters. The closest one was a small rabbit with a horn on its head. It looked quite cute honestly.

I clicked on its icon and a description popped up. 

[Horned Rabbit: Normally lives in colony's. (group of rabbits) not very dangerous]

"On the map it's only about 100 metres down the road. But how do I fight it?"
After messing around the screen I couldn't find any way to fight it.

"Guess I have to actually go there in person." Looking outside I saw it was quite dark.

I said "It's Friday today and I have no school tomorrow. I'll check it tomorrow I guess." Before putting my phone back in my pocket.

"Hey 'Sweetie' do you want to Netflix and chill with me?"

I heard my mother say that from the bottom of the stairs while clearly emphasising on the 'Sweetie'. "Clearly she doesn't know what Netflix and chill actually means. Well never mind." I thought before walking down the stairs to greet her. 

We picked a movie and turned off all the lights while eating popcorn.

"Yeah, I'll check it tomorrow."

When I found my phone I found I noticed a weird app downloaded on my phone.

[Monster Hunter]

Without thinking I launched it.

It looked like a cute fighting game but when I tried to battle the weakest monster I realised it was anything but cute.

Adam was just hit by Truck-Kun, his life flashed past his eyes he didn't have any family as they had passed away his life in the orphanage was alright he had long forgotten about his family.

He had the highest grades in school but he never wished to do much he also found school to be boring.

The only things he enjoyed was Kamen Rider, anime,manga and comics recently he took an interest in web novels. 

He liked them as they were far from reality, Alien's clashing in battle, Armored Mechs shooting bullets and missiles he wished he could be in that world fighting alongside them

He also liked Kamen Rider he loved the different forms they had and their suits, his favourite Kamen Riders were Kamen Rider Decade and Kamen Rider Black Rx. 

Black Rx because he could absorb the suns light and use it as energy and Decade because he could shuttle through different worlds.

Before he was hit by Truck-Kun, he was in his room playing Dragon Ball:FighterZ he was playing as Goku as he was his favourite character he had watched the whole series of Dragon Ball multiple times he was actually quite anticipating the Broly movie. 

He also quite liked Naruto and Bleach however he was quite disappointed with Boruto he felt it was a stain on the Naruto franchise.

Adams eyes closed shut he felt something was pulling him but he didn't resist and gradually he stopped thinking.

Adam suddenly woke up he felt someone was calling him telling him to wake up but he was sure that he got hit by Truck-Kun.

Adam woke up but he could not see anything but emptiness it was like space but nothing was there.

He suddenly heard a voice but it didn't sound like anything human rather a robot like voice one without emotion the voice called him [Host], wait host wasn't it what systems call their masters in Webnovels. 

Could it be that he was going to cross into a fantasy world with a cheat.

[Host wake up, I am the Fiction System and you have been chosen as my host]

Adam was exhilarated thinking about the system but he didn't know what the system's rules exactly were so he said, "System what exactly do you do and what are your functions"

[Well I'm simply the OP System.]

[Host has recently died so the system is trying to find a suitable body for the host, the host can choose any world to be born in.]

Adam heard this and he started thinking my system is truly OP, however he was thinking about which world he should be born in.

Soon Adam made his decision, "System I wish to be born in the 'Dragon Ball' world and if i can to be reborn as 'Son Goku'!"

Adam felt like 2 or 3 minutes had gone by when suddenly the system said, [In 3,2,1 host will be reborn however you will feel some pain due to the rebirth process but don't worry you'll keep your memories.]

After a while someone entered the cottage at which I was placed in.

The Man had a stout body with white hair as a grandfatherly innocence brushed off of him- this was clearly his Grandpa.

"Goku-finally your awake and not causing mayhem- Good, I found you some breakfast to eat, it'll be done in a jiffy so wait a little."

After this Grandpa took out a capsule and from it an ice bucket with numerous large pieces of Dinosaur Meat and some vegetables.

After that he began to heat up his stove as he began chopping up the vegetables, adding in the oil and spices before cooking the Dinosaur Meat.

And the mere waft of aroma caused me salivate in bliss. Soon the food was ready as I leapt off the bed and prayed before digging in.

There's still a long time before the plot begins, until then I will train and get stronger. 

Thus started my routine waking up early, training, bathing, roaming around the forest, meeting diverse animals, cutting wood, learning martial arts from Gohan eating food and training my innate abilities. 

At our home I would train my tail so that it's not my weakness and at the forest I would train my Zenkai by fighting the bears and dinosaurs I would increase the Gravity and Lower my Battle Power.

The next morning was rough. I had stayed up past my bed time and built my dinosaur completely. I then drew a picture of the bullies and looked at my creation with sad eyes. 

"I wish you were real. Then I would ask you to eat them." 

I put my picture down and went to bed. I walked down the stairs at a sluggish pace not wanting to go back to school. My mom had a concerned look on her face when I walked into the kitchen. 

"Are you alright? You look exhausted," she exclaimed. 

"I'm ok. Just really tired is all," I muttered. "Do I have to go to school today?"

"Yes Daniel, you have to go to school today."

I knew she would say yes but I had to give it a shot. As I ate my breakfast, my dad walks in and gives his usual "Hi, Bye." routine and is out the door. I followed behind to wait at the bus stop. When the bus arrived my friend was sitting in our usual spot, and I headed over. Brandon looked at me weird and asked, "Did you even sleep?" 

"I did, but it doesn't feel like it," I replied. "I had a really weird dream last night. I dreamt that my dinosaur came to life and ate one of the bullies. Then I woke up very tired."

"Well, dinosaurs can't come off the pages and eat people thank goodness," says Brandon matter of factly. 

" I built him. He is now a lego creation. He stands as tall as me!" I told him.

Brandons mouth dropped agape, as he started rambling off questions. I answered them all and it lasted until the bus got to school. From there I spotted the bullies, one of them wasn't here today. They were so caught up in conversation that I was able to sneak by with ease. I got to my locked and put my papers away, and grabbed my books. First class was about to start. I made it just in time. 

Mrs. Rook is a good teacher. I like her; she is the only teacher who will try to help me.

"Class? I have an important announcement. One of our students is out today so I want no discussion or rumors about what may or may not have happened going around in my room. Now turn to page 72 in your text book."

And with that, the day began. I wasn't so fortunate the rest of the day. Because the one bully member was absent, the other two were trying to make up for lost muscle. I got dunked this time and thrown into a trash can. The principal and the teachers couldn't help me. They kept saying something along the lines of, "Stick up for yourself." or "Fight back." First off I cant fight back. I dont know how and even of i did, I know I would be the one getting in trouble not them. Its the same as all the other stories you hear. "Kid sticks up for himself, suspended due to fight on school property." I dont need that kind of look on me.
 Second off, even when I told my parents the first time they couldn't do anything but talk to the teachers and principal as well. You know what they said? "Boys will boys." or "It'll toughen him up"

When I got home, I finished my homework and made little adjustments to my dinosaur. When it was time for bed, my mom came in and kissed me good night and went to bed herself. That night I had the weirdest dream.

"Why do you say so?" Zhang Xuan frowned doubtfully.
"Why do I say so?" The inner disciple looked at Zhang Xuan with sympathy. "Do you know whom the young lady that came by earlier is?"
Zhang Xuan shook his head.
"She's the granddaughter of Elder Bai Ye, one of the Three Grand Elders of our sect, Bai Ruanqing!" The inner disciple shook his head. "Don't let her appearance deceive you. She might have seemed gentle earlier, but she's actually no different from a female dinosaur. Her notoriety has spread across the entire sect, and not even her fellow core disciples dare to cross her! To dare dupe her into spending so much money to sell that useless bottle of water of yours… there's no way she'll let you off as long as you stay in the sect. If you do, you can start writing a letter to your clan to get them to prepare your funeral now. At least there'll be someone to collect your body for you!"
"Female dinosaur?" Zhang Xuan's eyebrows shot up.
He could not feel any of that from the young lady's amiable attitude earlier though.
"You seem to be doubting my words. Last year, a core disciple named Su Tong went to confess to her, but she dragged him to the dueling ring and sent a vicious kick right to his crotch. Even now, he still hasn't recovered from his injuries.
"A few months ago, another core disciple named Zhang Yue seemed to have offended her due to some matter, and he was pummeled to the point he was bedridden for an entire month! I was curious and snuck a peek at his ward, and I can tell you he looked more miserable than you can ever imagine!
"Right, there was this incident several weeks back where a core disciple named Xue Hai tried selling fake medicine, just like you. She thrust his head into the river water and nearly drowned him. That wasn't all… She even cut off half of his tongue at the end to send out a stern warning to others.
"Given that even core disciples have fallen victim to her, do you think that you'll be able to get away scot-free after scamming her?"
"This…" Zhang Xuan scratched his head.
The young lady earlier had a delicate look that made it hard to associate her with the demoness that the inner disciple had just described.
Seeing that Zhang Xuan was still doubtful of his words, the inner disciple sighed deeply before asking, "Do you know how powerful she is?"
Zhang Xuan shook his head.
"Last year, when she fought with Su Tong, she had already reached Heavenly Pseudo Immortal. Whether she has taken another step forward since then, I'll leave that to your imagination!" the inner disciple said as he pulled his stand away from Zhang Xuan. "That won't be enough. The price of the Ethereal Token has just gone up. You'll have to pay twenty-five Sword Pavilion Coins now!" The inner disciple in charge of the store threw the bag of money back at Zhang Xuan.
"The price has just gone up? Didn't you say it only costs twenty Sword Pavilion Coins earlier?" Zhang Xuan frowned.
"It was indeed just twenty earlier, but now that you have offended Bai Ruanqing, you're pretty much certainly dead… What am I supposed to do if she learns that I've sold something to you and makes trouble for me? The additional five Sword Pavilion Coins is just a mental assurance and emergency medical fee for me. It's only because I'm close to you that I hiked the price up by just a few Sword Pavilion Coins. If it was anyone else, I wouldn't have even sold it to him at all!" the inner disciple said vehemently.
"You…" Zhang Xuan's face twitched.
Was that supposed female dinosaur really that frightening?
Unwilling to give up just like that, Zhang Xuan walked over to the other stores selling Ethereal Tokens, but not a single vendor was willing to sell one to him.
Clearly, news that he had offended that female dinosaur had already spread. In order to avoid getting implicated, no one was willing to do business with him anymore.
"Those fellows!" Zhang Xuan gnashed his teeth angrily.
At that moment, he really wanted to do what Cao Chengli had suggested and simply rob them.
After all the effort that he had gone through, it turned out that no one was willing to sell the Ethereal Token to him anymore.
"Forget it…" Zhang Xuan sighed deeply.
He would just have to find other means to obtain an Ethereal Token.
Just as he was about to leave, Cao Chengli suddenly walked up to him and said, "Young Master, I have successfully acquired the Ethereal Token that you requested!"
Following which, he passed two of them over.

Then, he skipped out of the inner disciples' market excitedly with the lady on his arm.
"…" Zhang Xuan clutched his forehead.
He felt like he had opened his eyes that day.
But regardless of how Cao Chengli had managed to do it, there was no doubt that he did have some capability. In just a few hours, not only did he acquire two Ethereal Tokens, he had even managed to get himself a reservation on that lady's bed.

The shrill call of a beast echoed in the sky above Elder Bai Ye's residence. Leaping down from above, Bai Ruanqing quickly pushed the door open and rushed into the residence.
"Young Mistress!" An old man walked up to greet Bai Ruanqing.
He was Elder Bai Ye's personal butler, Bai Feng.
Bai Feng had grown up with Elder Bai Ye, and the two of them had entered the Ascendant Cloud Sword Pavilion at the same time. Even though Bai Feng was not well-known in the sect, those who were acquainted with him knew that he was far more than an ordinary old man.
Seemingly aware that Bai Ruanqing had been out to find some recovery herbs for Elder Bai Ye once again, Bai Feng sighed deeply before advising, "Young Mistress, I understand your feelings, but the Old Master's injuries were left behind from his trip to the City of Collapsed Space. His wounds are infused with some kind of mysterious energy that tears him apart from within. The sect has already tried everything at its disposal, but it was to no avail. I really don't think that there's anything you can buy from the markets of the outer disciples and inner disciples that will be effective on the Old Master, Young Mistress!"
The City of Collapsed Space was one of the most elusive places on the Forsaken Continent. There were untold treasures hidden in there, but great peril awaited those who dared step onto its soil.
If it was just an ordinary injury, given Bai Ye's identity as the Third Elder of the Ascendant Cloud Sword Pavilion, they would have been treated a long time ago. However, the peculiar nature of his injury complicated the matter. Everything that they had tried on him had been futile.
Furthermore, his condition seemed to be worsening by the day, and most likely, he only had a few days ahead of him.

Bai Feng took the jade bottle, uncorked it, and took a whiff. Soon, he shook his head and said, "Young Mistress, this isn't medicine at all. I have lived for 150 years, and I have seen all kinds of medicine in my lifetime. However, this water has no spiritual energy at all. Could it be that you have been scammed?"
For a medicine to be effective, it had to contain spiritual energy in order to nourish one's body. However, what was in the jade bottle seemed no different from clear water. There was no hint of spiritual energy.
Could it be that the Young Mistress had been too excited and gotten scammed?
"An inner disciple sold it to me. He said that it's a divine medicine that can heal any wound and illness," Bai Ruanqing said with a lowered head.
She did have her doubts when she purchased it, but her grandpa was already nearing his limits. She had to clutch onto every sliver of hope there was.
Not to mention, the person who sold her the medicine had been extremely confident, which indicated something.
After all, she was extremely famous in the sect, such that there was no inner disciple or core disciple who did not know of her. He should have known the cost of lying to her, and yet, he was still willing to make such a bold claim. He might really have something to substantiate his claims!
"A divine medicine that can heal any wound and illness? It doesn't have a shred of spiritual energy in it, and he still dared sell it to you…" Bai Feng harrumphed. "That person sure is brazen! How much did it cost?"
"Twenty Sword Pavilion Coins," Bai Ruanqing replied meekly.
"Twenty?" Bai Feng was stunned for a moment before blowing his top. "Young Mistress, I am certain that you have been scammed! With twenty Sword Pavilion Coins, you can buy ten Basic Immortal Pills! Yet, he actually charged such a price for this bottle of clear water. Which elder is that inner disciple under? I'll head over there right now to demand an explanation! Does that person think that he can take advantage of us just because Elder Bai is injured?"
Boom!
Under his rage, immense energy poured out from his acupoints. The entire residence rattled unsteadily, seemingly on the verge of collapsing under his wrath.
Elder Bai might have been injured and on the verge of death, but as long as he, Bai Feng, lived, he would not allow anyone to take advantage of the Young Mistress! That inner disciple was courting death!
"I… I was willing to buy it. He didn't scam me…" Bai Ruanqing's face reddened.
The other party did say that she had the choice to buy it if she wanted to, and he did not force her into making a decision.
Those words did not quell Bai Feng's rage in the least. "You were willing to buy it? Humph, he must have relied on some flowery words to dupe you…"
"Alright. Regardless of whether there is spiritual energy in it or not, since we have already bought it, let's give it to grandpa and see if it works…" Bai Ruanqing interjected before walking right into the main bedroom.
Standing by the bedside, Bai Ruanqing looked at the withered face of an old man with a pained look. There was a gaping depression in his chest, and the flesh in that region had started rotting, emanating a pungent smell.
The eyes of this elder were tightly shut; even the earlier commotion was not enough to wake him up.
"Grandpa, you must get well," Bai Ruanqing muttered as she helped the elder up and poured the water in the jade bottle slowly into his mouth.
After she was done, she waited for a moment, but the rotting flesh showed no signs on improving at all. Slowly, Bai Ruanqing's face darkened.
"There is no spiritual energy at all, so the medicine is bound to be fake. Young Mistress, you mustn't listen to the words of these scammers in the future. Even the sect elders who specialize in medicine have tried treating the Old Master, but they were unable to do anything at all. Given so, how can medicine sold by mere disciples possibly be effective?" Bai Feng sighed deeply
At that moment, a feeble voice was heard. "Cough cough cough… What did you just give me?"
Bai Ruanqing and Bai Feng's eyes slowly widened in shock before they hurriedly turned their gazes over. At some point in time, the unconscious Elder Bai Ye had opened his eyes once more.
He was still in a weak state, but he had finally regained consciousness after so long!

When the front door closed, the man made his way in to the kitchen with Ren in tow. 

"Please take your sit, I'll get the meal ready." The man said as he took of an apron that was placed on  the chair. He pulled it up and wore it over his ridiculously large body. It didn't look strange at all though because the apron was a perfect fit to his size. It was humongous just like a picnic blanket. 

He pulled chair after wearing the apron. He did it gently similar to how a butler's open the doors for their masters. A professional chair puller, that's what he is. Ren how was floating just besides the man went over to the chair and he was laid down on the chair just like how someone would lie down on a bed.

"No no, not like that." The man waved his hands once again and Ren was properly sat on the chair.

"Good, now wait here okay? The man said. 

No one knows if he was talking to Ren because he thought he was semi-unconscious and he could hear him or he was talking to him just because he wanted to talk. It was weird but there was no one who could criticize the man that's why he was like that.

Now, the man went off to the kitchen, he was still singing his awful song and together with the noise of food being cooked in a hot oil pan, it created a disastrous harmony that could drive even the most noblest and down-to-earth monks insane. 

Ren sat unconscious on the chair. His head was drooped down just like how it has always been whenever it was 4 AM in the morning during breakfast before school. The water that brought him over to the house was gone. It went to where the man went when he left. 

... 

Moments later-

"Dangerous entity detected! Suggested course of action is to run far away." The system continued to warn him. 

Ren's body responded to the warning. He tilted his head a litte to the right. It looked like someone was shouting at him to wake up as a pained expression was all over his face. 

"5 more minutes..." Ren muttered under his breath.

Suddenly his eyes opened wide. He moved frantically and pushed himself againsy the table.

*thud* 

The chair fell backwards and Ren hit his head at a bad spot. Unconscious once again.

The singing stopped and heavy footsteps echo across the kitchen. The man went back to where Ren was. 

"This stupid kid..." The man sighed. He waved his hands once again, and Ren body floated, but this time he let placed Ren in the living room where there was a couch, a fireplace, a low rectangular table and a few other ornaments.

Ren was placed on the couch and the man left again.

"Just cook for yourself later." He said in a loud voice as he waltz back into the dining room then to the kitchen. Who knows what kind of food he was brewing in there. The torturous singing started once again.

Ren woke up again 3 hours later. The first thing he did was touch the back of his head. It hurts. He had a concussion because of the fall he suffered. Ren woke up, finally. The first thing that greeted him was the celling. He pushed himself up and looked around. 

"A bed? Wait... this is a couch?" He placed his hand over the couch feeling its softness. The only way he knew that it was a couch because it had a backrest couch usually had. He looked at the doors as well and thought it was oddly huge. 

"What is this place? Did I die and reincarnated somewhere else once again?" He thought. He got up and sneaked all over the place like a ninja. He looked like he was a kid playing pretend games but because everything was big in the house, he managed to hid himself from plain sight every time he stopped. 

He went over to a bookself. The books were as big as his torso and the titles were written in using letters he never came across with.

"What is this place?" He spoke in a whisper.

Ren decided to check his event log. 

He was presented with a long list of 'Dangerous entity' warnings. When he skimmed through it he immediately tensed up. Suddenly his heard his stomach growling as a wonderful smell was crusing throughout one of the doors. 

Ren couldn't resist. He was unbelievably hunger so he pushed the gigantic door open and went straight for the food on the table. Just as he was about to gnaw down on the fried chicken, he stopped. He thought about the warnings he recieved a few hours ago. It was not a good idea to eat right now, specially if the food belonged to that 'dangerous entity'. 

"First , I need to get out of here and-"

"Dangerous entity approaching! Suggested course of action is to hide." Another warning resounded inside Ren's head.

Immediately, he panicked.

'Where to hide, where to hide?' The thoughts ran amok in his head. He looked like those kids playing hide-and-seek and was not able to find a hiding spot when suddenly he heard the catcher saying "Ready or not here I come!".

Ren didn't have any idea where to go to, so he hid behind the door. 

Heavy footsteps once again. It made the floor vibrate. The water inside the glass moved in beat with every step. The scene was a knock-off from the movie 'Jurassic Park'.

When he saw the water move, he began to think that it might really be a dinosaur that entered the house. His heartrate sped up and he couldn't help but close his eyes.  

"Kid? Where did you go?" The man said in a loud voice. He just entered the living from outside and saw that the boy was no longer on the couch. 

He made his way into the dining area. The only thing that seperated the man and Ren was the door. The man went in and closed the door of the dining room. Then their eyes met. 

"Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!" Ren shouted.

In response, the man shouted as well.

It continued for a dozen seconds until Ren got tired. He collapsed in fear once again. The man saw Ren limply fall on the floor once again. He looked irritated and he said in a loud, angry voice-

"Stop passing out!"

Ren was an avid gamer. He has played different kinds of video games yet despite that, he has always been alone.

On the day of his 15th birthday, he decided to stay up late to open up loot boxes. 

An unfortunate accident happened and he reincarnated into a boy bearing the same name as him.
