200 years ago man created the greatest AI known but this Machine eventually grew a mind of its own and evetually it's own body, it rose up with others like it against the human race this battle went on for about 20 years and nature and most resources were dieing off cause of the continuing battles but the final battle it released a large blast but is wasn't a bomb it was something else entirely, the machines had something hidden down their main base, something that wasn't human or machine something not of this earth, the blast brought back nature it changed it along with the humans and Machines closes to the blast.....both of them went a evolution of some sorts and because of this both sides where able to form a peace ending the war



Lia Giles became a border guard and mechanic for the power lines on the in between of the main city and the unearthly forests, no longer being able to stand living in the high technology world where humans are treated like second class citizens. On one of her patrols she discovers something or more like someone that no one has ever seen before.

Your classes with Joseph have been the dictionary definition of normal for the last three weeks. A part of you wonders if your first meeting was some kind of fever dream. Until... Evening, Miss Walpole. Just the person I was looking for. What can I do for you? I was wondering if you'd written anything as of late. As in, poetry? Why? You have talent. I want to see it flourish. right.Talent. we're in a public space, you know. I don't think people will appreciate a recital. Then whisper one to me. Joseph tilts his head to offer you his ear. You lean towards Joseph and decide to make this brutally honest. A thought breathes out her last breath... As your words get more and more grim, Joseph tenses up next to you. I lie asleep; while you laugh. Your voice trails off. Joseph turns to look at you without a word. His eyes lust for you once more. Thank you, Miss Walpole. Your classes are over for the day, right? Yes. Why? Coffee. My treat. Coffee with your sinister professor? It's probably a terrible idea. You love it.



After a lifetime of oppression, Polly's search for her true self leads to a thrilling forbidden affair.

Cheung Shin was sitting by the lake side on a bench in the northern side of the academy. "That spy is dead and there is no way we two can find out who was the minister behind all this. I hope his majesty might find a way to get hold on that corrupted minister." The deep thoughts of Cheung Shin were put to an end when he heard the footsteps.
He turned and saw Lee Eunshi there. "Master Shin, please accept the greetings of this disciple," Lee Eunshi proclaimed. Cheung Shin smiled because Lee Eunshi was acting well.
"Why are you here at this hour?" Cheung Shin asked Lee Eunshi who stood beside the bench.
"This wants to talk something important to the master," Lee Eunshi replied and looked around.
"Speak," Cheung Shin permitted Lee Eunshi who turned himself towards Cheung Shin.
"My sister is going to marry the son of Minister of Department of Justice," Lee Eunshi said in a low voice. Cheung Shin turned his head and looked at Lee Eunshi. "She is getting married? Whoa! It's such a good news," Cheung Shin stated.
"It is not actually. The person doesn't like her a bit," asserted Lee Eunshi. Cheung Shin knitted his brows upon hearing that. "What do you want then?" Cheung Shin asked.
"Talk to her and tell her to refuse for this marriage. I would have told her but you are closer to her," Lee Eunshi proclaimed and again looked around, to make sure no one was looking at them.
"Who is the guy she is going to marry?" Cheung Shin asked.
"Park Do Yeong," replied Lee Eunshi. Cheung Shin nodded and recalled his face. "Why is he not refusing for this marriage?" Cheung Shin queried.
"It is a king story. It will be enough for you to know that his father has ill intentions. He wants to strengthen his position in the court by this alliance. Park Do Yeong, on the other hand, wants to stop it. Moreover, he does not like my sister which is an enough reason to stop this marriage but my sister loves him," Lee Eunshi pronounced.
"I will do it. Minister Janguem is on the hit list of the corrupted officials. I will make sure that Ahnjong refuse for this marriage. I will go to the Palace tomorrow and will do this work. Tell your friend not to worry about this issue." Cheung Shin assured Lee Eunshi who thanked him.
"Thank me after I will do this work. You can give me that dragon sword which you ordered from China," Cheung Shin stated with a smile.
"Why do you always ask for weapons? You could have asked me for women related stuff," Lee Eunshi complained. Cheung Shin glared at him. "I am a man," Cheung Shin proclaimed and looked around.
"I know. Well, I already ordered two swords because I knew you would ask me for one. Tomorrow I will go to the palace then I will see you there," Lee Eunshi pronounced. Cheung Shin shook his head and smiled. "By the way, there is something I want to tell you," Cheung Shin stated.
"What?" Lee Eunshi asked and flinched his brows.
"Yoon Shik knows about my identity. So, keep an eye on that guy," Cheung Shin proclaimed with a bit hesitance.
"What?" Lee Eunshi exclaimed. "When and how?" Lee Eunshi further queried Cheung Shin.
"I cannot tell you about where and now but he just happened to find out. I should say I wasn't careful enough. I have threatened him still, you also keep a check on him that he will not tell about this to others," Cheung Shin requested Lee Eunshi.
"Yoon Shik is not the type of guy who will reveal your secret. Still, I will keep an eye on him. But, be careful or the best choice is that leave this place," Lee Eunshi asserted. Cheung Shin chuckled and crossed his both arms, looking towards the lake.
"I am here for only two months then, I have to go somewhere to accomplish the mission," stated Cheung Shin and looked at Lee Eunshi who shrugged off his shoulders. "Can you not live like normal women out there?" Lee Eunshi asked Cheung Shin.
"No personal conversation, your highness," Cheung Shin stated and stood up from the wooden bench. He patted on Lee Eunshi's shoulder and walked away. Lee Eunshi looked at Cheung Shin as he had walked away. "It is dangerous for her. Can she not understand this?" Lee Eunshi mumbled and left for the dormitory.

In the morning, the students could be seen in the lecture hall where Master Choi was checking the essays written by the students on the subject of 'Justice and Confucian Laws'.
"Chan Sul, what kind of answer have you given for the essay? I tried so hard to understand your words but I could not understand them," Instructor Choi complained, who was seated on a high rising platform of the lecture hall. There were sheets placed on the desk. 
Chan Sul stood up from his seat and said, "Master Choi, I used the poetry to represent the might of the King and his highness rulings. The subjects are being…" Instructor Choi cut the words of Chan Sul.
"The poetry used by you does not fit the context. Overuse of the poetry in an essay can nullify its meaning," Instructor Choi gave the answer and told Chan Sul to sit down. There were whispering sounds in the hall when the instructor Choi told them not to make noises else he would cut everyone's marks. The whispers died out as soon as the disciples heard it.
"Yoon Shik, what do you mean by justice?" Instructor Choi out of sudden asked as he was reading his essay sheet. "Using the appropriate laws giving the moral hearing is termed as Justice," replied Yoon Shik.
"The 'Appropriate laws' is a contradictory term here. You shall use the 'Just and established laws'," asserted Instructor Choi.
"But, master Choi, sometimes those established laws can give a wrong justice," Yoon Shik proclaimed.
"Yoon Shik, are you saying that the laws established are giving wrong justice to the subjects?" Sung Tae questioned him. Ro Sang Pil agreed with him. Yoon Shik glared at him when he heard Master Choi.
"Explain me the point. The essay you have written, I skimmed it and found that you are not happy from the system of Justice of Joseon," Instructor Choi pronounced.
"Master Choi, I do not dare to go against the Justice system of Joseon. Here, I tried to explain that there might be a possibility that the established laws are misused by some officials.
For example, I am petty farmer who is obliged to give the taxes for Kingdom's progress and prosperity. Because of certain reason the crops grown by me get destroyed and I have no money to give the taxes. Still, I need to pay it. Why? Because it's the established law which did injustice to a petty farmer like me. That's why I used the term 'Appropriate Laws', master Choi." Yoon Shik cleared the doubt.
Lee Eunshi was stunned by Yoon Shik's explanation. He was absolutely right in that point. The exploitation of the subjects start from that point onward, which is indeed an injustice to those subjects. Indeed, a normal person knows more about the miseries than an upper class men. 
"Does any student think same as that of Yoon Shik?" Master Choi asked everyone present in the lecture hall. 
"Master Choi, I agree with Lee Eunshi. Justice shall be based on the appropriate laws not on the established laws," Lee Eunshi proudly pronounced. Yoon Shik gave a tiny smile to him.
"Even I agree with this," Do Yeong stated followed by Park Sunwo. A few other students too agreed with Yoon Shik's point of view which surprised Master Choi. "A special talent this boy has! Indeed, appropriate laws will prevent injustice but the upper officials never let it happen. This batch has a talent which can change the future of our Joseon," thought Master Choi.
"Still, I prefer you to use 'Established Law' in the exam. It might be a disadvantage to you if you will deviate from the true definition of the Justice. I can see your essay is based entirely over that particular definition and it is written by putting a good thought. I will give you 7 marks for this essay out of 10," Master Choi announced.
"I will try to improve more, master Choi," Yoon Shik proclaimed and sat on his seat.
"Yoon Shik is using his own laws in the justice now," Ro Sang Pil whispered in Sung Tae's ear. "He will be a threat to us so, throwing him from our way will be the best thing. See, he has received more marks then you and even the instructor is praising him. A low born is now making us feel low especially you, Sung Tae," Ro Sang Pil started filling Sung Tae's ear. Sung Tae looked at Yoon Shik who was smiling brightly.

"Why should I bow before that man?" asked a kid.

"He's a top aristocrat of this kingdom. Kid, we're low class-men, born in lower class families. That's why we have to bow before him," answered the man. 

The kid became curious to know more. "Can I be like him? I also want to be respected by people," the kid said with an affirmed tone.

The man started laughing hearing the kid's talks. "Hahaha. You're good in joking, kid. A low-class can't become a Scholar like them," stated the man and walked away. 


Determined to become a Scholar like the man described, the kid named Kim Yoon Shik decided to become a respected Scholar like the one he saw on the very first day in the Kingdom capital city. 

Lost his mother & father; pushed away his lover, the protagonist Kim Yoon Shik negotiated all the difficulties in his path and finally achieved the dream that he had seen in his childhood.

Ating tunghayan ang kwento ng mag best friend na sina Tricia Mae at Ford, hanggang kailan kaya kakayanin ni tricia mae na mahalin ang kanyan bestfriend?

Hilda Muller studied the hand-written and scented admiration letter that she had written to Keila Eisenstein. Due to Keila's actions, Hilda was no longer a random military officer in the Muller army, in fear of her evil uncle and perverted cousin. Because Keila opened the portals and let the Xenos in, Hilda was the top dog of Earth, and words couldn't describe how grateful she was.
But who would be stupid enough to travel to the Divine Dimension to deliver the letter? Hilda was not as evil as Joachim or Bjorn, and she couldn't just sacrifice some poor soldier to deliver her vain messages. Hilda was interrupted when her personal assistant Emma Schindler walked into the room. Emma noticed that Hilda was crying and decided to comfort her boss.
Emma Schindler:
- What is the matter, Hilda? I have never seen you cry before! You even used chilly to fake tears on your uncle's funeral!
Hilda:
- I am just so moved by the beautiful poetry I have written. And heartbroken that the intended recipient will never be able to read it.
Emma:
- Oh, poor you. Did you author a poem to your deceased father who was senselessly murdered by a Martian rebel?
Hilda:
- No, but that could be a promising idea. Thanks for suggesting it.
Emma:
-  No worries, boss. So, who did you write the poem to?
Hilda:
- To my personal hero. The beautiful and talented Keila Eisenstein!
Emma:
- Keila Eisenstein? The madwoman who opened portals that enabled the invasion by man-eating aliens.
Hilda:
- Yes, if it weren't for her heroic efforts, Mars would have been wiped out by an asteroid strike. More importantly, Joachim would be the boss instead of me.
Emma:
- So, you admire her for selfish reasons?
Hilda:
- Yes. Are there any other reasons in the world?
Emma:
- Never mind. Can I please read the poem?
Hilda:
- Sure, go ahead.
Emma took the heavily scented letter from Hilda's desk and read it. It was filled with excellent prose, and it was almost as skilful writing as you would find in a Martin Lundqvist novel! Emma pondered her options for a while and spoke:
- This is exceptionally good Hilda; you should self-publish it on Scamazon and make a dozen friends give it glimmering reviews. You could earn 20 Terran Credits!
Hilda shook her head and replied:
- No, House White owns Scamazon. I don't want to make them wealthier!
- But, if I could only get it to Keila, a weight would be lifted off my chest!
Emma sighed. She was the definition of a 'Yes' woman, and she didn't want to disappoint her boss, even if it meant that she had to bring a letter past a bunch of predatory aliens and deliver a message to the prisoner of their evil queen.
Emma:
- How about if I deliver the letter to Keila?
Hilda:
- Would you do that for me? It sounds incredibly dangerous!
Emma:
- I will be alright. Keila is guarded by a host of man-eating aliens and their wicked demon queen, but Ramun has taught me their language, and you have given them free beer. They'll know that I am their friend.
Hilda:
- That's great, Emma. You are so smart. Deliver the message, and if you make it back alive, I will promote you.
Emma:
- Jawohl Fraulein Muller!
Thus, Emma was sent out on a dangerous and pointless quest to deliver Hilda's love letter to Keila. Learn to say 'No' Emma!

When God dies, an idiot takes his place!

Far enough into the future for anything to be conceivable, the wealthy and dementia-ridden villain Abraham Goldstein funds an implausible project to travel to heaven and meet God! Against all logic, the project is successful, and Abraham finds out that the god is dead. Abraham also finds the mind-control technology, that Yahweh used to convince Bronze Age humans that he was a god. 

Having these schematics Abraham sets his mind to a new project: to create an artificial Bronze Age world where he can be "god" over its inhabitants. 
Along the way he faces many highly amusing scenarios such as problem with the henchmen union, unfortunate calendar mistakes, malfunctioning orbital super weapons etc. Abraham keeps fucking up things due to his dementia, villainy, incompetent henchmen, and general stupidity until a mentally ill woman shows up out of nowhere and puts an end to Abraham's follies!

JOSEPHINE's POV

When the assembly finished, the professors told us to line up. They mentioned that the classes will be arranged by the ranking on our entrance exams. Sh*t, I'm stuck with Hernandez.
The first class will be consisting of the students who are ranks from one to forty. At least, I'm still with Yasmin. I wonder how Yusuf is doing with Caleb, though.
Entering the room, I'm glad that we can sit anywhere we want. I sat in the middle beside Yasmin. I don't want to sit on the front nor the back.
Our professor for the first class entered the room. "Good morning class. I'm Ms Abigail Griffin. Welcome to theatre arts. I know that some of you are already theatre actors as I have seen you in some plays but want to understand more the art of theatre. Oh, before you ask, I'm your acting teacher."
She looks pretty but strict. I thought.
"Ms Josephine King?" our professor said.
I raised my hand. "Present."
She slammed the board. She's in her twenties, but she's already a really strict professor.
She walked around the classroom, bringing the class' master list with her. "Ms Josephine King, stand up."
I stood up without hesitation because I'm really eager to become a theatre actor that understands the craft. I was already in plays back in high school but my parents don't allow me to join theatre companies outside the school until now.
"Mr Harper Hernandez, stand up," he stood up as well.
Ms Griffin looked at Hernandez and me alternately before stopping at Hernandez. "From the two of you, can someone tell me what is the definition of acting based on art?"
We raised our hands at the same time but our professor let Harper talk. Tch. "Mr Hernandez, please take those disrespectful hands of yours from your pockets."
He followed the instruction our professor had just told him. "Ms Griffin, there are two definitions of acting according to art. The first one, as a noun, is the art or occupation of performing in plays, movies, or television productions."
He smirked and continued with his answer after pausing for a while, thinking about his answer probably. "While on the other hand, as an adjective, is temporarily doing the duties of another person, synonymous to a substitute."
Our professor smiled at him, satisfied with his answer. "Very well said, Mr Hernandez. You may now take your seat."
She then walked towards me. "Ms King, you have written in your essay that theatre is your passion but you also have a love for psychology," she crossed her arms and stood in front of me like a boss. "So, may I ask you, Ms King, what's the definition of acting in psychology?"
I smiled and stood up properly. "Ms Griffin, in psychology, acting is a part of psychoanalysis which by definition is a set of theories and therapeutic techniques related to the study of the unconscious mind, which together form a method of treatment for mental disorders."
I cleared my throat because it was drying out since I was trying to speak without shaking. "Given the definition of psychoanalysis, the word act in psychology simply means the expressing of repressed or unconscious feeling in overt behaviour."
Our professor then smiled at me. I think she's satisfied, I'm happy about that. "Nicely spoken, Ms King. The professor who was in charge of your interview in the university has been telling me that you're one of the most diligent students when it comes to answering high intelligence questions and I could definitely see that. You may now take your seat."
Upon sitting, I felt someone staring at me so I looked at the direction and saw Hernandez staring at me. For some reason, we understand each other even though we're not speaking verbally.

'You're dead meat if you try to compete with me, Fina.' Harper looked at me with a sharp glare
Don't you dare ever call me Fina, Hernandez. We're not close. I furrowed my eyebrows at him.
Remember that you are the one who destroyed our friendship. He smirked.
Is it my fault that you're such an arrogant douchebag? I raised my eyebrow.

I then felt Yasmin poke me. "Pst. The professor is looking at both of you."
Upon looking at our pretty but strict professor, she had her right eyebrow arched. "Are you done staring at each other, Mr Hernanez and Ms King?"
I felt Hernandez' smile even though I could only see him in my peripheral view and my classmates who are trying to suppress their laughter since we're not acquainted yet. Tch, such an annoying face.
My professor started to explain what we'll be doing today. I was taking notes, being the bored student right now, so I just decided to write what she's stating using stenography. I stopped writing upon hearing my name.
Oh, good Lord.

YASMIN's POV

Our acting professor thought it was a good idea to test our acting skills on day one. She said it was a preparation for the representatives who will be auditioning for the competition next month.
The competition is between the seventeen sections of the theatre majors. We'll be competing with each other for the roles of the play our college will be doing for a high school in the province. If the play will be successful and important men noticed our play, the actors chosen will be performing the play at big universities here in our country and they will be guaranteed a spot in the Theatre Organisation.
And because she felt like it, she decided to use a script from one of Shakespeare's most famous stories.
"I'm going to pick partners and you're going to show me this scene that I'm going to flash on the screen. No pressure, no need to memorise because it's still your first day and the majority of you here are amateurs so it might be overwhelming. I just want to see your talent and skills."
While she was calling out the partners, I was glad but worried when I found out that I'll be with the greatest enemies on earth.

JOSEPHINE's POV

While Hernandez, Yasmin, and I are throwing our lines I felt his stare. I just let it slide because it might be needed for the role.
We went back to our original seats when Ms Griffin's alarm went off. Only three groups will be presenting today, according to her and we're part of those three groups. We'll be the last performers of the day.
I felt terrified with the way she shouted at the first groups.
"You deliver the lines too slowly!"
"You're too emotionless!"
"You're not doing justice to this masterpiece!"
"Your moves are too formulated!"
She sighed. "Harper Hernandez, Yasmin Hernandez, and Josephine King. You're last."
The three of us stood up and sent signals to each other by nodding.
We're on Act 2, Scene 2 wherein the nurse, Romeo, and Juliet are the ones present. We'll be doing original poetry so we really have to move and speak like people from the Elizabethan era.
While preparing for the scene, the class stood quiet. We then acted upon our role.
Hernandez and I looked at each other, without hesitation. He smiled like a teenage boy who fell in love at first sight. "So thrive my soul--"
"A thousand times good night!"
When we finished the scene, we went to the middle, held hands, and bowed. Everyone applauded, including our professor.
She smiled at us. "I certainly didn't expect that kind of performance because according to my observation earlier, Mr Hernandez and Ms King had some bad blood going on. I surely didn't see that in this presentation. You two looked really fond of each other. The delivery of lines, the execution, the actions, even with Ms Hernandez playing the role of the nurse, oh god, the three of you are so fit for the role!"
She stood up. "If you keep this up, I certainly will choose the three of you as part of the representatives of our class. Class dismissed."
While I was arranging my things, Yasmin spoke beside me. "Hey, I'll just be at our usual spot since my next class is still at 3:30 pm. Dramatic lit."
I smiled. "That's my favourite class, no fair that you'll be experiencing it first before me," I stated like a child who is envious because my neighbour got the latest car toy before me. Yasmin and I did our usual long handshake before I continued to speak. "My next class is 1:15 pm, Scenic Design. It's already 12 nn, let's eat lunch?"
"Let's go."
Yasmin and  I looked at the direction where the familiar voice came from. "What? Why are you looking at me like that? Jisung ditched me. He said he'll have lunch with his boyfriend, I don't want to be a third wheel anyway."
I sighed, not happy with how my day is going. "Let's go?"

Leaving their high school life behind, Josephine, Yasmin, and Yusuf move forward to a chapter of their life, college. With their never-ending love for theatre, they decided to go for performing arts.  

This life is messy, it won't be easy. Relationships, career, and their own life might be in danger with the path they're going to take. Will they take another step and enter in the dark world of reality or will they step back and stay in the comfort of a young person?

(EXCERPT 1)

"Mr. Hernandez, what's your problem?" She asked in a very formal way, acting as if she has never crossed paths with him personally and only knew of him because of his outstanding academic and extra-curricular performance.

Harper laughed. "Wait," he put his lips close to her ear. "Sit properly, you're wearing a skirt and you're sitting like a frog," he smirked.

Fina faced him, her eyes showing evident emotions of irritation. With only inches away from his face which also makes them look like they were about to kiss, she spoke. "Mr. Hernandez, we're not children anymore. We don't have the same bond as before so please, know your limits. And for the record, it's not my fault if garbage like you would look at my body that way."

She pushed his face as Yasmin suddenly appeared at the space between Fina and Harper, a wide smile on her face that reached her ears. "Hey love birds, will you stop bickering? The assembly is about to start," Yasmin playfully raised her eyebrows.

Alarmed, Fina and Harper faced Yasmin almost at the same time. "We're not love birds!"

(EXCERPT 2)

Caleb handed Yusuf his helmet and rode his bike. 

Yusuf followed him and hopped on as well and slowly wrapped his arms around Caleb from behind, his face turning crimson red.

"I... like the feeling of this. We should do this more often," Yusuf blushed and smacked Caleb's hand that was holding him. 

Caleb laughed before letting go of Yusuf's hand and started the engine. "Where do you want to go?" He asked.

"Heartlands," Yusuf answered.

Caleb looked back at Yusuf, furrowing his eyebrows. He is confused. Why Heartlands?

"You want to go to the playground. Are we a junior school couple?" Caleb asked, chuckling at the thought of them going to a playground for a date.

Yusuf nodded shyly, referring to Caleb's statement that he wants to go to a playground. "Please?" Yusuf tried to persuade Caleb by puffing his cheeks because he knows Caleb loves his cheeks to look puffy.

Caleb groaned. "Fine, stop puffing your cheeks. I might not be able to resist myself."

He knows he can never resist this boy, this is the sweetest thing they have ever done while they were testing the waters. 

It's the first time that he's actually felt like this. He couldn't explain what the feeling is, the only thing he knows is that he is so happy when he is with Yusuf. A happiness that he feels can last a long time. No, he feels it will last for a lifetime. Heck, maybe even another lifetime.

Caleb noticed that Yusuf's cheeks became a darker crimson, and because of what Caleb witnessed, he laughed and the bike started running. 

Caleb parked his bike near the area as they head into the currently deserted playground. 

Yusuf almost immediately fled to the top of the slide happily while Caleb was just strolling peacefully behind him. 

"You're really happy here?" Caleb asked while his hands were in his pockets, watching the joyful Yusuf that is in front of him.

Yusuf nodded. "I met the two b*tches here."

Caleb grinned. "You call them b*tches but you're really soft for them."

Yusuf looked down and paused. 

"They're the reason why I'm alive," Yusuf smiled and sat at the top of the slide.
