A terrible, cold, and most awful presence stood there gazing at Reginald that of Sir Knight Prince. The now inhuman figure of Sir Knight Prince icily thundered, "What is that which is being asked by the Head of the Prince family?"
"It has been forgotten and purposefully lost that which Herpo, the Foul produced," Reginald growled. "However, we know and still remember, what terrible creation Herpo forged, a Horcrux. And among the cousins of our ancient homeland, it is even whispered that there was one, who continued this work."
"And so, I ask, what is known about the being that is called-," Reginald paused to spell the following name, "H-Y-D-R-A." He was being cautious lest there be a spell or curse tied to that namesake.
Sir Knight Prince's eyes blaze terribly as the room temperature plummets even more causing for Reginald's breath to be seen. "Long ago, not long before the clans were destroyed, there was something very particular that was discovered. An orphaned boy with eyes like that of the night sky was found and taken in by one of the clans. The orphan was loved and cared for, but all those that grew to love him, began to change. Some almost remained the same, and others wholly changed, but they all had one singular thing in common, they were all able to speak to each other in their hearts. This clan sought to use this power to destroy their enemies, but in the end, it was much too late, and the clan fell to the combined power of the four founders might. And thus, every single clan member was slain down to every woman and child."
"And?" Reginald querulously remarked.
   "There is only one other such recorded incident," Sir Knight Prince icily declared, "that of my own."
"You?" Reginald sputtered in blatant disbelief.
"Indeed," Sir Knight Prince inclined his head at the statement, but no emotion showed on his face. "In my youth, the Prince family had only just returned from Gaul for less than a decade. Our position was precarious, and we needed the legitimacy that only the court of muggles could offer. And so, a bargain was struck power and land for a great and powerful spell to ensure that this land never fall to foreign enemies, but the spell never mentioned anything about rebellion nor that of overthrowing the crown."
"Considering my stature, and personality, I was sent to court as a courtier with the title of a Knight. All was well until I feel for one of the Queen's handmaiden's, Delilah of Sorek. It is rather ironic considering her namesake and the great semblance to the maiden from the muggle bible," Sir Knight Prince stiffly said.
"Nevertheless, I digress, I believed myself in love, and confessed my existence as a wizard, and even that of a parselmouth. She loved me far and true and we were happy for a time," Sir Knight Prince frankly stated without even a hint of emotion. "That is until one day, Delilah returned from confession. She said that the priest had touched her hand."
 "Naturally, I thought nothing of it, but Delilah began to withdraw from that day on. During her lucid moments, she whispered that a demon was eating away at her soul. I believed her cursed, and sought every means which to free her, but to my great joy, one day, she returned to herself," Sir Knight Prince confessed. "And all was well until the day she betrayed me and accused me of treason. I was beheaded without further delay, before word was even sent to the family. And so, I died, and I awoke at Prince Manor vowing to protect the Prince family line until the end of time."
 "And what else?" Reginald flatly asked. "You recognized that name, Sir Knight Prince, what else is there? Answer me?!"
"No," Sir Knight Prince frigidly refused. "The girl is already in danger from Fate as it is, Fate will not allow another to know such knowledge without a price. You are still needed; the girl and the boy must be protected."
Reginald visibly startled at the mention of Severus as well. "Rowan, I can understand, but Severus?"
"The boy has yet to fully awaken," Sir Knight Prince explained, "and he will."
Reginald impatiently waited for Sir Knight Prince to expand more on the subject, but Sir Knight Prince did not speak another word on the subject. Furrowing his brow, Reginald curtly says, "Is Severus, a Parselmouth?"
"No," Sir Knight Prince replied in a dead tone of voice.
 Reginald's mind runs a list of gifts in his mind, before picking a few from the Prince family repertoire. "A Farseer as well?"
"No."
"Divination?"
"An accurate instinct, yes."
Reginald went down a list, and to which most of them Sir Knight Prince replied with a "No." Annoyed and greatly vexed, Reginald finally says, "Then what exactly will be Severus's role to play?"
"Fate has yet to finish weaving her tapestry," Sir Knight Prince cryptically answered to the further annoyance of Reginald.
Seeing that Reginald does not seem to have any further questions, Sir Knight Prince says, "Head of the Prince Household, are you satisfied with that which has been asked and answered?"
"No, but I have one more question."
"Go on."
"Just why has fate allowed for such an abhorrence to continue to exist?" Reginald flatly countered. "Surely, life and death must be balanced, and such an abominable existence would destroy the balance between this life and the next."
"It is why Fate has permitted the existence of the girl," Sir Knight Prince emotionlessly stated. "However, there must be a balance to all things, and it is the girl's duty and her alone to do so." Though Sir Knight Prince seemed to pause at that last part as if considering someone else as well.
"I understand," Reginald murmured with a cunning gleam in his eye. Hydra might be out of the question, but that did not mean if encountered he could not move against such an existence.
However, he would have to wait, and without a doubt, he was certain that Hydra would come for him, and his family. Because if Hydra was truly that orphaned boy from ancient times, then Hydra must loathe the very existence of the founder's descendants. And time had proven that as all the founder lines were said to have been destroyed until the Prince's stepped out into the light.
The Prince's were the children of Salazar Slytherin, the last family left. (If one ignored the Dark Lord, and Reginald would. Because he refused to acknowledge such an existence as being related to himself.) But even more worrisome, his grandchildren, Rowan and Severus carried the blood of three of the four founders. And so, wait he would.
"The vow is removed," Reginald finally said, before departing from the attic without another word.
A loud sigh is almost heard as the temperature in the room returns to normal. The lit candles begin to burn normally as the terrible wound on Sir Knight Prince's neck almost seems to bleed a thick dark steam, before the body of Sir Knight Prince removes the head from its neck, and returns to the chess board again.
 Sir Knight Prince lets out a loud tired sigh as his more jovial nature seems to return back to him, but there is still a cold chilly gleam in his eyes. The dead were bound by the constraints of the world of the living, but there are always exceptions and loopholes. And Sir Knight Prince was a Slytherin, sooner or later, his time would come.

After Jason and his army take the path and reach the ledge. Jason feels awkward as he forgot about this. His army enters his shadow and he rides the Storm Drake with Takemikazuchi, Siegfried, Terrowin, and Friede. Once they make it to the Ringed City he makes the Drake land and it returns to his shadow.
He uses Zenith Tempest to send a massive black thunderbolt to hit the summoner who summons the archers and walks past the bridge. He loots the chunks and other loot and goes through the area. Until he reaches the bonfire.
He lights it and proceeds followed by his small group. He goes through until he sees the first Ringed Knight. Friede kills it in one slash and he approaches its body. "Rise." From the body emerges his new soldier and he plans to get quite a lot more.
Plus Unlike the game, he takes the armor, its sword, and the shield. He imminently upgrades it to +10. The moment he does the armor ignites and he feels the power coursing through him. The system allows him to upgrade gear directly through it.
'System will I be able to upgrade my gear past its limit with other materials.'
<You can. But the quality must surpass Titanite Slabs or titanite in general.>
He thinks about metals that match that quality and a few come to mind. Uru from marvel, proto adamantium, or Captain America's shield. He might travel to Marvel someday when he is much stronger.
As for the helmet he keeps his old one as the ring knight hood is kind of weird. He takes the path down and kills the enemies in the way. He enters the tower and takes the stairs down will his party kills the enemies. he even summons his wolves and has them go ahead,
He hears them snarling and biting and they come back dragging the body of a Ring knight and he is happy. "Good Boys." Their shadow tails wag and he rises the Ring Knight. This one has the spear and great dragon shield. He takes the gear and moves forward.
Siegfried kills the three heralds in a single swing and it's time for the swamp. Instead of dirtying his shoes he uses Zenith Tempest to freeze the whole swamp and makes the solid ground to walk on. His shadow army rushes in no longer needing to worry about the disgusting sludge.
Once his army slaughters the disgusting bugs and the bug people and drags back any Ring Knights they kill. Those join his army and he takes the stairs to the next bonfire and lights it. He rests at the bonfire and returns. His army kills the enemies again and the giant summoner. He decides to turn it and the giant creature kneels.
He nods and processes through his area he runs into the Dragon Slayer armor and Yhorm crushes it. He turns it and now he has two. Plus Vordt is quite happy to be on the ice. The many Ringed knights attack them, but the Abyss Watcher kills them all. He drags the bodies and he turns them and loots their gear.
He looks up and sees good old Midir. He uses a massive blizzard to freeze Midir solid and has his army especially Yhorm bring him here. He looks at the frozen dragon and kills it painlessly. A blade through it's brainstem and it dies. He looks at the body and plans to make a new set of armor from it. "Rise." From the frozen ice cube emerges the massive dragon that is Midir.
"I thank you for saving me from succumbing to the abyss. My Lord."
"You can speak?"
"Yes. My lord. It is forgotten that most dragons are sentient. Most of us don't use our minds and prefer brawn."
Takemikazuchi approaches and looks up at Midir and remembers when he allied with the ancient dragons. He gave everything up just or this reason. They are living beings that dint' deserve extinction.
"Well, Midir I hope you serve me for the coming eons well."
"It will be my honor, my lord." The massive dragon enters his shadow and he puts the ice cube with Midri's old body in his spatial ring. He will make his permanent armor and put it to good use.
He enters the path on the bridge and enters the tower with the undead. The skeletons are ripped apart easily and he uses the same ability as Storm from marvel. By using wind he flies to the top of the tower and lights the bonfire.
Plus he has completely ignored Ban's other powers. He activates snatch and the head of skeleton appears in his hand. He looks at the other one and activates Fox Hunt. The power of it enters him, but it is not much.
This could have been useful when fighting the justice league, but no use crying about it. After reaching the bridge where you would fight Midir he takes the whole bridge and keeps going forward. He goes past the illusionary walls and gets the miracle and kills the dual wielding greatsword wielder and turns it. He takes it's swords and leaves the armor. He has several sets of it and Jason looks at the huge building.
He walks up to it and the deep voice warns him to turn back. He decides to not kill it and decides to join the covenant. From killing Midir he got the means and offers them. He doesn't pray, but that seems to work just fine.  He enters and speaks to Judicator Argo.
"Spear of the Church, turn back. The Abyss runneth deep. Thou'rt sworn to protect our mistress's slumber.
Or wouldst thou thy covenant forsake, in violation of the King's decree?"
When he says that Takemikazuchi rises from Jason's shadow and has rage on his face. "Judicator. Do you say that my father, Gwyn placed my sister in this tower this city?"
The judicator is shocked. "Thee is the forgone first born of the king. Thou are not welcomed here. Turn back, or I shall administer justice on thee."
"JUDICATOR. I HAVE A RIGHT TO SEE MY SISTER AS THE LAST SON OF GWYN!"
Jason decides to tell him. "Your sister is in a slumber. The moment she awakens she will perish. I might be able to help. Well the judicator is not needed. Kill him."
Midir also rises from his shadow and fills the entire place with his massive frame. "I beg you my sovereign. Please help her. She was the one to hatch me and I my vow to combat the abyss was to her. As for you Judicator Perish."
Midir torches the Judicator to ash to in  a second. He returns to Jason's shadow and rises the stairs and lights the bonfire and he and Takemikazuchi rise the stairs until they see the sleeping Fillianore. Takemikazuchi approaches and is about to touch her before Jason grabs his arm.
"I wouldn't do that. The moment she awakens she will perish. She is the only thing keeping the world stable. As I haven't linked the fire it still dies as we speak. With it the world preparing for the coming age of dark. Give me a moment."
"I am sorry my sovereign. I was careless. How many of my familly have to be destroyed, by my fathers accursed age of fire. The fire is ment to be allowed to die and prolonging it brings calamity.
'System can you explain what is the deal with her. Is their a way to awaken her with out killing her.'
<Filianore is using her life as a means to hold the crumbling times and the dark at bay. The loss of her eyes and the abyss pooling down her eyes is the clue. You can substitute her waning life force with your own. As you are immortal this is simple. You have burned it before.>
He grabs her hand and begins to give her his life force. It is painful like he is loosing a part of himself, but it comes right back. As for Filianore she has awakened and feels her waning life being held. The egg in her hands has crumbled and in five minutes he is done.
Fillianore faints and Takemikazuchi holds her in a princes carry. The world gets dark and he looks out side. Pure dust and he heads out. Midir appears from his shadow among the sand and dunes.
"I thank you for helping her my sovereign." The giant dragon looks at the pigmy who drags himself and speaks of the red hood coming to eat their dark soul. "Fillianore....Help me please." He drags himself to the passed out Fillianore is Takemikazuchi arms and yet he is ignores.
Jason's bosses and named summons appear among the sands. Siegfried, Terrowin, Nero, Friede, Zamarok, Storm Drake, Vordt, Yhorm, Abyss Watcher, Pontiff Sullivan and his army of knights all walk across the dunes. He runs into Shira who sees Fillianore in Takemikazuchis arms and is livid.
She sees the shadow body of Midir and Fillianore who are alive.
"Why did thee awaken the princess. My friend Midir why have you allied yourself with his evil."
The giant dragon approaches his old friend and looks at her.
"Shira, my friend. I and the brother of the princes asked for her saving. No matter how long the princes slumbers her fate would have been terrible. This way she will once again live. My sovereign saved me from forgetting my vows. I ask thee not disrespect the sovereign."
"Brother? The one holding her?"
Takemikzuchi approaches Shira with his sister in his arms. "Hello knight of my sister. I am the first born of Gwyn. This fate that was placed on her was much too cruel. The fire must snuff it's self for the natural cycle that was meant to be."
"Now excuse us Shira."
He and the rest of the shadow army go through the dunes toward slave knight Gale. Shira stands in front of the army and goes up the Jason. "If thee believe this is for the best for the princess than I shall follow thee. This is not a option."
"I don't mind if you must. Follow my army." He jumps on Midir and his army follows behind him.
She walks next to Takemikazuchi and looks at the past out princess and her old friend Midir who is being ridden by Jason. The massive army marches in the dunes and they eventually reach the sight of the pigmy kings bodies. Midir walks forward and sees Gael drinking the blood of the pigmy. He look at Jason and reaches out.
"Give me that. Your Dark Soul. For my ladies painting."
"Gael stand down. I rather not kill you."
In his madness he charges at Jason and Midir swings his tail and hits him and sends him flying. With Midir and his army this might as well be a walk in the park. Midir steps on Gael and drives his claw through his chest. He claims the soul and the dark soul of man from Gael and moves to the body.
He holds his hand out and pats the old man in respect. "Rise." From his body rises the large body of the knight Gael. No longer will he call him a Slave Knight. A true knight he shall be.
"My lord it is my honor to serve you."
"Yes. Your service is appreciated. Lets take this to the lazy for her painting." He lights the bonfire and takes Fillianore to Firelink and their he goes to the painting. He and Gael give the a girl the blood of the dark soul.
She looks incredibly happy at finally having the material to paint.
"My thanks, Ashen One, uncle Gael, With this will I paint a world. Please tell me thy name.
I would name this painting after thee."
"My name is Jason. Jason Moore."
"I will paint a world of that name. Twill be a cold, dark, and very gentle place. And one day, it will make someone a goodly home."
"Do you think a city by the name of Yharnam will be in it."
"Yharnam? Never have I heard such a word. Yet, the word matches my world. That is it. Thank you Ashen one. Yharnam such a word." She looks at the shadow body of Gael and gets off her seat and walks to him.
She holds his hand and looks at him. "Uncle Gael what happened to thee. Why have you become this."
"Fret not my lady. I have never been happier. This is mealy a future. A better future. Go. You promised me you would pain a world."
She smiles and goes to her canvas. She starts to pain with he blood of the dark soul. Jason leaves her be and heads off. His time here is coming to an end. The last piece of the puzzle the Soul of Cinder. 
He, Gael, Siegfried, Friede, Terrowin, Takemikazuchi, Midir, and Shira all look to the sky. The world darkens. How much longer will the fire hold.
"How long do you think it will take for the fire to fade."
Siegfried looks to the sky and the darkening isn't too fast or slow. "I Say We Have A Good 100 Days Give Or Take."
"Looks like I have time to farm for Canis Lycon and Incinerate Anthem. Luckily they are cheaper than my own. 
He rides Midir to Anor Londo and once again summons his throne. This world was such a ride. Plus it was only the first round. The new game plus option is much different than just a slightly stronger foe. 
"It is almost time to leave for the past and harder challenges"
He makes up his mind. He needs his Black Lantern Ring as the rings are some of the strongest weapons in fiction. In his hands with his imagination the potential is limitless.

Jason Moore was a Dark Souls lover. He played them all and even played games that were even a little like it. However, two gods kill him, and in fear of their father pay him hush money with wishes.

A day later

Sean trudged down the mouth of a dark cavern.
Although it was much warmer than the forest outside, Sean felt no warmth or comfort.
His captor led him deeper into the underground structure pulling him by a leash deeper into the cave.
Soon Sean saw a vague figure hidden in the shadows. It was another bandit.
The bandit turned to inspect the newcomers like a guard of some sort. After confirming their identities he greeted them warmly and let them pass through, completely ignoring Sean who was been towed behind.
Soon the former young master saw another figure underneath a lit torch and another one in a chamber he passed fondling a young girl in the dark crevices of the room.
As the young master walked down he was quick to confirm that this was the hideout the bandits had been talking about.
The air in the tunnels was damp and musky, sometimes even carrying a retch inducing draft.
Although there were signs of the conscious effort to keep the place clean, blood and other unpalatable fluids occasionally stained the place, marring whatever efforts were made.
It was obvious from the screams of despair and occasional moans echoing from the depths that this hell had possibly witnessed every form of debauchery known to man.
But despite this, Sean's face remained impassive.
He had missed his chance to escape that night. An unfortunate hare ran into the camp under the pursuit of a brown wolf startling the bandits awake and ruining Sean's chance to escape.
But still, he sought a way to out, scanning the tunnels discreetly for an escape route. Unfortunately, though there were none.
The bandits led him deeper until they reach the entrance to a large chamber. In front stood two burly men who appeared too well dressed to be bandits.
"What do you seek here?" One asked in a bored voice. Surprisingly he spoke fluently which was unusual for outlaws and peasants, behaving more like knights than the bandits he was.
"Pardon sirs, we seek an audience with the Lord." The leader said attempting poorly to match his fluency while simultaneously using a flattering tone.
"The Lord is absent, you may leave."
"Huh?"
"The young master and his guards were murder a while ago by suspected a knight and escorting two noblewomen. The lord ordered the killers be found but he wasn't satisfied with the results hence he decided to sort it out himself." One of the more patient guards spoke.
"Is the news you bring more important than this? If not you may leave." the other added.
The leader of Sean's captors had a conflicted and shocked look on his face unsure of how to reply.
Looking at his men who were giving him an encouraging gaze and remembering the possible rewards he could get for his task he gritted his teeth and replied.
"Sirs, I am not if this is more important but we caught a von Greifenberg and sought to turn him in."
"Huh?" The guard's brow rose in surprise.
" A von Greifenberg?" The leader asked with a frown. He finally noticed Sean who was hidden behind the larger men.
Frowning the Leader asked.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes!" The captor's leader replied.
"Are you truly a von Greifenberg?" The other guard asked impulsively.
"Sirs, I don't think he would-" The captor's leader started speaking but was interrupted by Sean.
"Yes," Sean replied.
"Huh?" All the bandits were shocked.
"Yes?" The leader of the guards asked.
"Of course, I am the first son of Aden von Greifenberg and his chosen successor. My father would reward you greatly if you let me go." Sean said in a very sincere sounding voice.
The Leader looked at Sean with a sightly pitying gaze.
'These rogues must have broken him for him to behave so foolishly. I remember hearing that he was a genius knight, what a waste.' The head guard thought to himself.
"Since that's the case, lock him up in the cell and make sure he stays alive. I am sure the Lord would want to see him when he returns, so don't break him any more than you already have. When the Lord returns he would reward you." The head guard replied.
"Yes, Sir." Sean's captors replied excitedly.
"Wait! Please! I really am a von Greifenberg! If you let me go you would be rewarded greatly!"
Struggling lightly Seam allowed the bandits to pull him away towards the dungeons.
Watching the prison door close behind him, a light flashed in Sean's eyes.
'A knight escorting two noblewomen you say?' He thought remembering Aden.
'I am not sure if you are the one, but thank you father for giving me this way out again.'
'You truly are the greatest father, I will ever have.'
Thinking this way a faint smile formed at the corner of his lips.
In the dim underground base, that smile looked a touch sinister.

Upon their crash-landing in the Mid-12th Century, Jim breaks free from the crystal and finds himself alive, despite the Onyx Shard from the Green Knight's spell still wedged in his chest. However, because he is half-troll and gets petrified in daylight like one, the Knights capture him, Claire, Douxie and Steve and take them to King Arthur and his court, which includes his sister Morgana -- which infuriates Claire because the Green Knight hurting Jim was all her fault (and she tried to possess Claire's body one year ago). However, Douxie and Morgana convince Arthur to spare Jim's life, even though he ends up trapped in a dungeon with other trolls, and Morgana adopts Claire as her new handmaiden (secretly interested in Claire's Dark magic that she used to save Jim), and Steve trains to be a knight under the command of Lancelot. Meanwhile Douxie returns to his old living space and seeks Past Merlin's help in accessing the time map to return them home to Arcadia Oaks without further altering the timeline.

   "Now presenting the Duke and Dutchess of Ambrose with their children Sir Mage Knight Captain Ambrose and Lady Thea Ambrose...."
   Everything faded out and could only hear my heart beating as everyone looked up at us. It felt as if someone punched me in my stomach. Zander pulling me along. Snapping out of it I could feel all the eyes and murmurs on us. I felt that cold chill down my spine. People went back to normal. I stood next to Mother and Father. Zander had to step away to handle business.
   Everyone is enjoying the evening. Lots of dancing and drinking. Oh, the food! It's amazing.
   "Your Grace, his majesty would like a moment to see her grace and Lady Thea." One of the Kings men approached Father. We were escorted up to the king.
  As we bow down for his majesty "Your majesty, the Duke and Dutchess of Ambrose and their daughter Lady Thea..."
   "Ah! Deron! How the hell have you been?" Kings face lit up once he seen Father.
  "Very well Your majesty. I take it your doing well also?"
   "Yes, Yes as long as these people keep my glass full!"
   "Indeed! You remember my wife, Aithne?"
   "Hello, your majesty!" Mother bows again. 
   "This is our eldest daughter, Thea." He added, I bowed. Then the chill down my spine came back. Zander and that Mage Knight came out a side door behind the king. 
  "My, My! Your daughter is beautiful. Is she married?"
   "No, not yet your majesty. Soon hopefully." father answers.
   "Ah! I may have someone in mind. Let us talk privately!"
   "Yes your majesty" Father joins the king beside him. Mother and I bowed and took our leave to return to the activities. On our way back Zander joins us.
   "Zander, who was the Mage Knight you were with?" I asked.
   "Oh, that is Sir Mage Knight Captain Drystan Regalshade. Though it's not Captain for much longer." He replies
   "What do you mean? A promotion?"
   "Precisely! That's what this ball is for! King is making him a Duke and will take fathers old position in our military." Zander adds "He is a great leader and warrior."
   "Seems dark and cold." I add.
   "He is. Doesn't help he is skilled in dark magic. Which doesn't make him a bad person."
   Dark Magic. It's rare, more rare than light magic just because it's so hard to control. Most people use common magic which are mostly basic spells. That explains a lot but doesn't explain why he stole my kill!
   Moments pass and gentlemen introduce themselves. I believe word has gotten out that I am to be married. I suppose Mother had something to do with that. Everyone will jump at the chance to marry a Duke's daughter. Father returns from speaking with King. He looks beside  himself but yet relieved. What did they discuss.
   "Aithne, I need a word with you privately." Father says as he grabs her arm.
   "Of course your grace!" She replies
   "Let's dance!" Zander pulls on my arm.
   "Brother! No!" I blurt out. Too late, he is strong and dragged me to the floor.  Parading me around for all to see my...lack of grace. Mother wanted him to show off her daughter. Like a prized animal at the fair. Everyone watching. Rather be killing monsters.
  We finish dancing, then Father and Mother return. She has the world's biggest smile, from ear to ear. 
   "We have wonderful news my child!!!" She adds "We have a husband for you!"
   My body goes numb and face goes white. It took my breath away.  NNNNOOOOO! Why is this happening so soon? I thought I had more time. This is not fair.
   "Who?" I ask with disappointment.
   "Sir Mage Knight Captain Drystan Regalshade! Soon to be Your Grace!" She replies.
   Chills went down spine.
   "Oh! Speaking of which..." She adds.
  I turn around and as he's walking toward us he pulls down his hood. Revealing his face. "Your Grace's, May I have a dance with Lady Thea." Sir Regalshade asks Father and Mother. What about me, why not ask me? Probably knows I'd say no.
   "She'd loved too!" Zander replies as he pushed me forward. I gave him a look of shock. Why on earth would he do that! He knows I have no intentions of marriage. Arm in tow he brings me to the dance floor. Everyone is really staring now! I say nothing for most of it, till he breaks the silence.
   "You were the one outside the walls the other night and in the training grounds yesterday." his voice is dark. That much I expected. I go white and cold at the fact of him seeing my shame in the training grounds. 
   " You're the one that stole my kill!" I say with much sourness and attitude. He just chuckles.
   "Is that Lilac?" he asks.
   I dont reply. I hear him groan to himself. We finished and I walked away to step out for fresh air. I think I'll walk in the garden. 
   It's dark but the flowers still are trying to show their colors. Light shining even though there is darkness. I come across a dying Lilac bush. I should heal it. My light magic brightens up the area, I can tell it's thankful.
   "I knew it was Lilac." A voice coming out of the darkness followed by a body. Sir Regalshade startled me and my body gets defensive. When I realize who it is, I roll my eyes.
   "You shouldn't be out here by yourself." He says.
  "Ha. I can take care of myself thank you." I add " And you shouldn't be out here alone with a single woman."
   "We are to be married you know." He says. "The king wishes it."
   He steps closer, close enough I can smell him again. My mind goes back to the dream. 

Lady Thea wants to become a Mage Knight like her father and brothers but her mother forbids it. Mother wants her to become a proper lady and marry a nobleman. Will Thea's dream of becoming a Mage Knight come true or will she have become the proper lady that her mother wants her to be?

The Knight places the rare jewel on the small table in the Snatchers home with trust in it's smiley new ghost buddy then returns back outside. The Snatcher points to the direction of his old home. "So little fella what do think? Will you go retrieve a book on creatures from my old home?" The Knight stares off into the distance for a moment then begins walking in the manors direction. "Wow, I didn't even have to make you sign a contract, you're easier to convince then the kiddo." The Knight makes its way down the forest path till it comes across the broken stone bridge needed to get to the manor. Ghost looks over the edge at the eyes in the mist below and stares back at them. "Hey newbie." A minion taps Ghost from behind. "Need help crossing the bridge to your death? I can help with that, the boss asked me to anyways. No way you're jumping across that like the bosses BFF does." The minion sighs downhearted. "The bosses BFF left behind this hookshot badge and pin so maybe you could use it with that parasol… I mean it worked for her so why wouldn't it for you?" The Minion hands the Knight the hookshot badge. "See ya newbie." The minion walks away towards Subcon village. Ghost takes a moment to pin the badge to the parasol. The Knight points it across the broken bridge at a tree limb. After some wild swinging with the parasol, the hookshot launches out and pulls the Knight across with a swinging grace. The hookshot releases and Ghost does a mandatory backflip to land on the other side of the broken bridge. Ghost walks through the frozen village. Touching a frozen villager, Ghost feels just how cold something can be. Continuing through the frozen canyon to the manor, Ghost jumps to a floating platform only to fall right through. A large ice wall blocks it's path. Seeing the only other physical item in its field of view, the vessel swings and rings the mystical green bell. The platforms gain a more solid form. Ghost wastes no time and begins parkouring from platform to platform. It leaps over the ice wall and continues it's new adventure to find a book on otherworldly creatures. Coming up to the old manor, The Knight tries to open the front door to find it stuck in snow. Ghost being the reckless vessel that it is, dives head first through a window creating a noisy crash. Now inside the manor, The courageous vessel get's up and takes its first step to- "You dare enter my home!" The Knight is swept up into the grasp of the Snatchers ex lover, Queen Vanessa. The Knight is stuck in the claws of the queen and it's body begins to freeze in the queen's blackened palm.
The Snatcher inspects the jewel the Knight left on his table. "The only currency I have use for is souls hahahah!" He goes to sit in his chair and a black mist starts to form in it. "Woah, this ain't my magic that's for sure." The black mist forms into the vessel sitting on his chair. "Where did you come from!? And why are you in my chair again!? The vessel hops off the chair and begins walking back to the manor again. "Woah, wait little guy!" The vessel pays no mind to the smiley ghost and heads straight back to where the manor resides. After traveling through the icy canyon once more, Ghost enters the previously broken window quietly. The Knight spots a black shadow of itself floating around. The shade charges it's shadow and takes a whack at it with it's parasol but merely pushes it over. The shade gets aggressive and clings to Ghost trying to sap it's void from it. Ghost struggles to throw the shade off its face and is pushed against the window where it plops down losing strength. The vessel desperately pats the floor around it and manages to pick up a glass shard and continuously stabs the shade with the jagged glass. The shade curls up and the Knight absorbs it back into its body. The vessel now at full strength again, starts exploring the dark manor. The Knight hears the queen's footsteps coming and she hears the vessels also. The Knight runs to the next room with haste and the queen spots it. She enters the room in search of Ghost. "You live? Or are there others like you?" Queen Vanessa starts creeping around in search of the vessel. "You're a brave little thing whatever you are." The Knight hides under the piano in fear if it had any to begin with, all it has is the will to survive. The vessel notices the bookshelf on the wall but knows it can't find what it's looking for with the queen roaming the room. Waiting for it's chance to slip past, Ghost runs out of the room and down the hall where it finds stairs. The vessel makes its way up and sees a frozen mafia in the hallway. Continuing it's plan, Ghost pushes the frozen mafia over, shattering him to pieces and creating a loud racket to draw the queen's attention from below. Ghost hears the queen's steps echo throughout the manor as she rushes up the stairs. The Knight quickly hides behind a frozen resident. "You think you're as sneaky as that hatted child don't you?" The Knight rapidly tip-toes back down the stairs and makes its way to the bookshelf. Taking a careful good look at the names, it selects 2 books and one random one. The Knight heads back up the stairs for who knows what reason and sees Vanessa breaking things while lumbering around the halls. Ghost sneaks into another room and discovers the old ruined diary of Queen Vanessa. After trying to understand some of the melodrama, Ghost takes the diary with them. The vessel exits the room and approaches Vanessa at a distance. Ghost takes the random book it picked out and tosses it at the back of Vanessa's head. She turns around growling at Ghost and chases after them. Ghost gives the lunatic queen a small wave before jumping out the 2nd floor window with the books in hand and into the cold snow outside. The proud vessel makes its way back to the Snatcher's tree home. The Snatcher is found reading a book on his chair. "I wonder if that little guy made it out? Still don't know how it's body just poofed into my chair… oh you're back." The vessel hands its books to the Snatcher. 
"Pure and dark magics, How to care for your child!? Why did you bring this one?" He puts it on his bookshelf. "Whatever, just go play with the minions while I see if this book says anything about you." The Knight leaves the tree home and plays with the talking noose for a few minutes. "Hey! Little vessel!" The Snatcher calls out. The Knight instantly responds to the name and heads straight back to the Snatcher. "Listen to this little vessel. This chapter is called Biological Vessels… the book says to create any kind of biological vessel, you need any suitable source and a specific form of void. Should this vessel come to a grim fate, it's body will be transported to the last known location the vessel deemed a safe place to rest. That would explain you coming back to my chair." Snatcher continues reading. "The vessel leaves behind a void shade where it died and if the vessel dies without retrieving this shade, it's current shade disappears into the air; leaving the vessel permanently weakened as it's body creates a new shade to be distributed; out of the remaining void it has in its body for the next time the vessel may break. This process can only repeat a few times before the vessel is permanently terminated. Well I hope you retrieved your shade from my crazy ex. Hahahaha!" "Hey Snatcher!" A voice calls out. "Bow Kid!" The Snatcher replies. "Wow kid! You're a lot older but you still pretty much look the same. It's only been like 3 days." "You want a hug Snatcher?" "N-no!" "Yeah you do come here." Bow Kid tackles Snatcher to a hug. "Alright alright get off." Snatcher holds Bow Kid out in front of him and puts her down. "I-Is Hat Kid with you?" "No… actually, Hat Kid's been missing for a while and I know she really likes this planet during this time period so I thought she might be here but I haven't seen her." She looks over to the Knight playing in the shallow water surrounding the tree. "Who's this little… creature? I've never seen anything like it." "That Bow Kid is a vessel, mute creature that should serve a single purpose but almost never does, stubborn things." Snatcher grumbles. "I sent it to the manor for some books about itself and I think it got caught by Vanessa but it still lives hahaha." Bow Kid kneels to the Knight and talks to it. "I've never been in that manor myself but my friend said it was quite the traumatizing experience." Bow Kid checks her timewatch. "The TTA assumed Hat Kid was fine until her tracker went offline a short while ago. They place a microscopic chip in the retinal blood vessels of a member's right eye and if it's not receiving blood then it means they're probably dead. Hat Kid's seems to have gone offline… that would mean she's either dead or worse… but it's possible she's alive. You probably have no idea what I'm talking about Snatcher." "No I do not, but I h-hope Hat Kid is alright. Ugh what am I saying?" "You care about Hat Kid, I never doubted that for years, she's always thought of you as her father over the years you know that right?" "I-" The Snatcher is cut off. 
"Wanna-be Knight!" A voice yells out from the trees. "I want the jewel I stole fair and square!" The Empress shows her face as she stumbles out of the trees. "I-I finally found you." The Empress says out of breath. She points at the knight who runs behind Bow Kid. The Empress turns her attention to Bow Kid. "Oh! We met yet again, friend of the hat brat, you're a lot older, must've been the timepieces." "Do I know you?" Bow Kid asks sarcastically. The Empress gives her a dirty look then spots the jewel sitting on Snatcher's table inside the tree. "That's mine!" The Empress charges towards it. Bow Kid see's the purple parasol in the Knight's hand and grabs it for herself. "Let me borrow this real quick." Bow dives at the Empress and smacks her upside the head. "Ow! Why do you people use umbrellas as weapons!?" She goes to claw Bow Kid but Snatcher attacks her with some magic laser of his which she dodges and scatters backwards hissing. "Crazies! All of you. I'll be back with my army and that jewel will be mine, just you wait!" She declares running back into the forest trees. Bow Kid sighs. "If I know her, she will. If it's alright with you Snatcher I think I'll stay here for a bit and help you out when she returns." "Fine by me kid, what do you say little vessel?" The Knight stares at Snatcher. "Just kidding, I know you can't talk hahaha!" The Knight holds it's hand out to the Parasol in Bow Kids grip. "Uhhh… I like this so I'm keeping it. Time to await the war that comes." The ground begins to shake and the sky looks as if it's turning to glass. Bow Kid looks up as everything calms down with a worried look. "Oh that can't be good."

Far after the events of A Hat in Time, Hat Kid is back to her normal time traveler duties and ends up lost in the ruined kingdom of Hallownest, Hat Kid; who is now 283years old (relatively 17 in human years) must adapt to the mad world she has gotten stuck in and find timepieces to fuel her ship and get the peck out. Hat Kid meets familiar faces from Hollow Knight who help and/or hinder her in her quest to find timepieces. She must either leave Hallownest or help save it from the infection that plagues it, which is kind of the responsibility of time travelers, but this kingdom is no ordinary world by time traveler standards. Hat Kid try's not to go literally insane from all the chaos around her. Gaining new awareness, skills and gear from the world of Hollow Knight, she may just make it out. She will do what needs to be done in order to survive this psychotic world. 



(There is a bit of blood (Possibly not highly detailed gore) in some of the action scenes which is about as graphic as it will get... kind of, but it's not "human" blood so it's fine right?)
