"Don't be nervous" Miss Fuentes whisper beside me 

She slightly fix the number card that was pin on the collar of my uniform as we wait the judges that was roaming around checking every art painting presented by the participants. They were kinda strict because it took them a few minutes before they jumped into another participant. Today is the judgement day, as what Ella called it before we came here. And it feels like that really.

The art gallery was huge that's why there is also a special exhibition that was display aside from our art piece.

"I suddenly felt more nervous because of what you said" I answered making her laughed lightly 

I was the 23rd participant, and just a few minutes by now I'll be able to face the judges. What was their name again?

"You don't have to be anxious. Phantashia Verus is great, take it easy" she encourage me

"Yeah... thank you" I hissed under my breath

I know that Phantashia Verus is a great art. But we all know that not all people can appreciate it. Not everyone can appreciate what you did.

"Just relax and let yourself speak up once they ask you something" Miss Fuentes added as she saw those four judges walking in our direction

I breath out calming myself a little. I'm still a little bit dizzy because of what happen last night. I have a slight fever this morning but I still manage to get up. Thanks to the medicine that Seviro gave me. It helps me a lot although I honestly don't know the name of the medicine. He just said that it's for fever and somehow I trust even just a bit.

"Phantashia Verus "

I back to my senses as I heard one of the female judge stated the name of my painting- they are here already. The female judge glance at me and then carefully examine the painting. I was kinda nervous in I don't know reason and all I could do is to bit the inside of my mouth. 

"A two contradicting words that was combine together. Reality and Fantasy..." she mumble

The other one agree and wrote something on the paper they holding as they express a sophisticated judgement on my work.

"Aren't you going to explain it to us?" The other one ask out of nowhere, turning my gaze to look at him.

He looks younger than the three. Actually, he seem just like my age or a year older? Not sure, but I didn't notice him a while ago.

"I'm actually waiting one of you to ask that" I replied in a well mannered tone

They all chuckle which I didn't know why, so I remain my serious face not joining their humorous laugh. I was just stating the fact. I can't just rudely interrupt them by my explanation. 

"She's serious Fred. She's not joking around, let the lady explain her side" The first judge who stated the name of my painting said 

I don't know how will I address them, I don't know their names. I'm not that aware if they already introduce their selves. Did they?


"You see, the painting is bright and colorful. I like those strokes she made, the colors, the texture and the dark shade in the middle. Seeing the contradictory contrast of colors, I think that's why it was called Phantashia Verus" she smartly commented when I didn't say a word

She was in her mid 40's but her observation is still sharp and clear. 

"Is my Aunt correct, My lady?" 

I glance at him again and shook my head.

"Sometimes, we need fantasy to survive the reality" I quote forming my lips into a small smile

"Is that the entire message of the painting?" The guy ask again

I tilted my head provoking him. 

"That's what I wanted them to see" I replied

I heard a small laughed but I ignore it. It doesn't sound offending so I just choose to shut my mouth.

"Mind explaining why did you made those heavy colors lighter in the eyes? You see, I love how colourful it is and you made it complementing in the eyes although you use heavy shade of green, red, yellow and etc. I'm just kinda curious how you do it" the other judge ask 

Okay, I'll explain it then.

"I didn't use pallette knife instead I use a very soft stroke. I use heavy shade to emphasize the colors but I adjust the hue by not making the texture too crunchy, just enoughed to make the colors float and noticeable. The shading, I made sure it was contradictory to clearly represent the name. If you didn't notice, Phantashia Verus is a woman. If you focus your eyes on the dark shaded part in the middle not giving focus to the lighter shades of other colors you will see a woman's face" I explain and they both agree giving me an awe expression 

I know...

"Phantashia Verus is about a beautiful woman full of rough edges and flaws. It was a story of a woman who run away from her glamorous yet suffocating life and for her to continue living, she hide herself in the fantasy of lies. She wanted to live in reality, yet she's living with identity made by her own fantasy" I continue while explaining 

"And most of us  experience that..." the one who ask me said kaya bahagya akong ngumiti

Yes, she's right. We all experience the so called Phantashia Verus.

"I didn't know that a single art piece can narrate a ten pages of story book, it was indeed amazing" I smile because of what she said

"Thank you so much Miss Xena, I hope I'll see you on the bidding" she smilingly added and then they leave

I breath out in relief as the four judges left. I didn't know that I've been holding my breath while talking to them, giving them answer that could satisfy them. And I guess, it was good. I hope.

Cami Xena's identity is like an abstract that only exist in thoughts and idea but there is no proof of existence to be found. She hides herself in reality and created her own world because for her that's the only way to escape her past. Living a life full of pretentious and lies is enoughed for her to be at peace not until she met Sivero Alcinous Castaldi the man who's willing to do everything just to take off her mask. 
But is he ready to accept what's behind on that mask?

Tama : Oh sorry, in excitement I totally forgot to introduce myself.  I am Tama , I am from a different  world  called donkorie. 
Satoshi  : What???! You are from a different world??
Satoshi's internal monologue : What the hell is happening, this girl is from a different world.  This sounds like one of those reverse isekai anime where the fantasy characters come to Earth .

Tama : In our world there is one enormously guy name Dark . He currently rules the whole of Donkorie. But many years back there was a prophecy made in our world that,  the one who will be born when all the nine planets come together in one straight line will be the one to annihilate Dark and will become Dark's mortal enemy. 
Satoshi's internal monologue : What does that mean I will be a protagonist  of an real life isekai series.  Oh God today is my luckiest day YESSSSSS.
Satoshi: OK but how do you know that it's me ?
Tama : Because the only the  person who is born on that day can  read this book and learn art technique like this.  Dark was also born on a day like that and that's why he is the strongest in Donkorie.  And since you are like Dark than you were definitely born on the same type of day and hence you can become equally strong as Dark or even Stronger than Dark . 
Satoshi  : OK that makes sense, but we can't be sure about this until I finish reading the whole book . But can you explain what is this art technique of yours .
Tama : Jeez , what kinda idiot are you even after reading this book , you don't know anything about art technique. 
Satoshi  : Hey can't you be a bit nice . how am I gonna know anything about a completely different world.  If you can't speak nicely with me than I won't help you in any way. 
Tama : OK ok I am sorry.  Now listen in our world of Donkorie there is a special art called art technique by using which you can manipulate reality and the whole plane of existence within a certain proximity .

I breath out ng makaalis ang apat. I didn't know na pinigilan ko palang huminga while I was on the hot seat. 

"Frederick Fredonia, Fedora Fredonia, Diana Atienza and Rico Rio. That's their names" 

Agad naman akong napalingon kay Miss Fuentes. Ngumiti siya ng bahagya sa akin and handed me a bottled water na agad ko namang tinanggap.

"You look confuse on how to address them" she told me 

I stilled and later on I chuckle lowly. Am I that obvious?  That's funny, because it's true. I tilted my head and lightly shake it as I felt a little lightheaded and woozy. I'm still not feeling well...

"Are you okay? Namumutla ka" 

Ramdam ko ang pag hawak nito sa braso ko kaya naman mas lalong hindi naging comfortable ang pakiramdam ko. I wanted to shrugged her hand away pero hindi ko nagawa. I shut my eyes tightly at agad akong umupo. 

"Cami?" 

Tinaas ko ang kamay ko kaya naman nabitawan niya ang braso ko. That's a relief. Hindi ko gustong may ibang humahawak sa akin. Mas sumasama lang ang pakiramdam ko. 

"Ayos lang po ako" I said

"Sigurado ko? Namumutla ka" 

"I am really okay" I assured her 

She hesitantly look at me before she sitted on her chair. I slightly massage my head and get my phone when I felt it vibrate. 

Naningkit ang mata ng makita ang pangalan ni Seviro. Seriously?  Tsk. I open his message at hindi ko mapigilang hindi mapakunot noo.

'Where are you Cami ko?'

Don't tell me nag hihintay siya ngayon sa school? Definitely! Myghad, when  will he stop? 

Walang gana akong nag reply sa message niya and then I turn off my phone. I just simply say 'absent'. He will ask me of course, kaya nga pinatay ko ang phone ko. I glance at Miss Fuentes at ngumiti naman ito, bago binalik ang tingin sa apat na judges na nakikipag usap sa organizer ng competition. Kinabahan ako bigla... and then I suddenly remember Viscos.

Napabuga ako ng hangin ng makababa ako ng cab. That was the longest ride that I'd experience epekto ng sakit ng ulo ko. I walk slowly at kita ko namang maliwanag ang buong bahay. That's a relief dahil madilim na ang langit.

I slightly lift my head to wander my gaze on the clear night sky full of stars. The moon is shining brightly although 7 : 30 pa lang ng gabi. I love moon, I love how mysterious it looks like. Weird? Well, that's how I  really define it. 

"The moon is beautiful isn't it?" 

I stilled of my spot at hindi agad ako nakalingon. I know who owns that voice. That natural husky voice full of confidence and arrogance yet he carry it well.  What does her doing here again?

I sighed before I turn around to face Seviro. Yes... it's no other than but Seviro Alcinous Castaldi. 

"Aren't you tired following me around?" tanong ko sa mababang boses 

Ako ang napapagod sa kanya. I don't know kung gaano siya katagal nag antay sa harap ng university tapos makikita ko siya ngayon sa harap ng bahay ko? When will he stop this shit? Hindi ko alam kung hanggang kailan ang pasensya na meron ako sa kanya. I don't even know kung anong nakita niya sa akin at mukhang wala na siyang ginawa kundi ang guluhin ako.

"Ikaw ba? Hindi ka ba napapagod layuan ako?" he ask in tired voice, gone the playfulness and the hint of mischievous in his eyes

He's just looking at me seriously. His deep charcoal eyes is darker than it's usual shade kaya naman nakakapanibago, idagdag mo pa ang itsura niyang mukhang pagod at matamlay. 

Did something happen?

"How about you? Aren't you tired with my rejections?" Pabalik kong tanong dito 

"Ah! tangina..." he groaned pinching the bridge of his nose while his eyes are close

I heaved a sighed at bahagyang minasahe ang ulo ko. What should I do with him?

"Gabi na, umuwi ka na Seviro" kalmado kong utos dito

His mother is probably finding him right now. Hindi ko nga alam kung nag paalam ba ang lalaking to. He's just wearing his boardshort and a shirt. The piercing on the corner of his lower lip is sparkling in the dark na hindi na nakakagulat. It's a black diamond remember?

"Ilang oras din akong nag antay dito, tapos papaalisin mo ako ng ganon lang?" he hissed 

I laugh lowly in sarcasm and crossed my arm.

"Ano bang meron sa akin at ayaw mo akong tigilan? I am not the only woman in this world Seviro. There's a lot of woman out there who's willing to reciprocate your feelings"


I was serious with that, bakit kailangan niyang mag pakahirap sa isang tulad ko? I wonder where did his pride go. 

"Because you're Cami Xena" he stated confidently without a sign of uncertainty 

He arrogantly look at me flashing his famous coy smile. Napakunot naman ang noo ko.

"Ikaw lang ang nag iisang Cami Xena sa mundo, isang malaking putangina kung may iba pa. Dahil para sa akin nag iisa ka lang" 

Napangisi naman ako sa sagot niya. Does he think that my feelings will be swayed by that? 

"Masyado ka nang nag papakatanga" I utter followed by his chuckles 

" Consistency is very hard lalo na kung hindi makita ng taong pinag bibigyan mo yun. Pero Cami, kahit na mag bulagbulagan ka pa sa mga bagay na gagawin ko ayos lang. Tangina! Ginusto ko tong kagaguhan na ito, ginusto ko na gustuhin ka kaya hindi ang salita mo ang makakapag patigil sa akin. Ako lang ang pwedeng mag sabi nun sa sarili ko" he said firmly arousing the aggressiveness in his tone kaya bahagya akong napaatras

His jaw clenched upon seeing what I did, but then later on his lips move into thin line as his face soften a bit. 

"I'm risking all my fucking cards Cami, kaya hindi mo ako mapapatigil ng ganon ganon na lang" he declare

Biglang nanuyo ang lalamunan ko. I'm afraid what will he do next after this. Should I leave again? 

"How far are you willing to go Seviro? Because I am sure, that I am not your growth zone" kinakabahan kong tanong

Napalunok naman ako when he take a single step closer to me. 

"I am willing to go close to you Cami, even you're my blackhole still I will dive in just to get fucking  close to you" 


My heart skip a bit and I gritted my teeth forming my hand into fist. I should kick him away from me but then, I can't. 

"Pwede kitang hawakan?" he ask after a long silence 

Naningkit ang mata ko sa tanong niya. What? Mariin kong tinitigan ang pagod niyang mukha. Why bother waiting me if he's  already tired and wanted to rest?

"I observed. Ayaw mong hawakan ka ng ibang tao, kaya nag tatanong ako. I don't want you to feel threatened to me Cami ko" he explain calmly 

He's calm now, I guess?

"You're a bit different right now Seviro" hindi ko mapigilang punahin

Seviro Alcinous Castaldi was an aggressive man in a way that you won't feel threaten or scared, he is full of confidence and most of the time sound so arrogant. Sa bawat salitang binitiwan niya, bakas dun na sigurado siya. 

He was always playful and mischievous flashing his coy smile while snickering in front of me showing na kabilib bilib siya sa lahat ng bagay. He was intimidating because of that attitude. Pero ngayon ay iba. I'm seeing another side of him. The serious one and the authoritative side of him which is threatening for me.

"Ah! Tangina, bahala na"

I was taken a back ng bigla nito akong hilain sa braso and cage me with his hugged. Kasabay nun ay ang pag kahulog ng hawak kong paper bag dahil sa gulat.  And funny, dahil mag kasalungat sa gusto kong maramdaman ang naramdaman ko ngayon.

What happen? Why did I suddenly feel warm and fuzzy inside?

Even though Fantasy World was believed to be a game two days before, now after the launch entering the game, most people realized the changes it is gonna bring to the world.

Science and Technology, with the magic's addition gonna reach a new bound. As a big upper echelon household, they had to be a step ahead than others. So their family thought kids being under them is safe, and made a decision to go where they are. To form a big party.

Then Taylor's eyes lit up. It's because of his dream. In the past timeline, he was a rogue. But in this timeline, he was a poor kid that had a terrible nightmare and lived his life in solitude. So his family is taking extra care of him.

Taylor felt warmth in understanding his family's people's love for him. However, he can't forever be under their protection. In the past, he lost them, now he wants to be the person that protects them.

There were two great lineages from the older days of the heavens. It's a myth but true. That is the angel and the devil lineages. The angel walks on the path of light, while devils of the path of darkness. 

It is no good or bad, between them, it's just they walk on a different path to godhood. But during that journey, some of them of both the families got degenerated and became demons under the influence of demonic magic. 

Taylor can't be sure of how this demonic magic entered the heavens. 

However, he remembers some things he heard in the past, that, endless wars took place after the demonic being, entry into heaven. That war continued for countless years. But the Angel and Devil lineages got weaker as the war extended and at last, they got defeated. And many of the pureblood lineages of Angels and Devils left heaven and they spread throughout the universe. These are things that happened several million decades ago. 

The demonic army got stronger and stronger as it destroyed plenty of planets and devoured them.  

As for the Angel and Devil lineages, their bloodline got thinner as decades pass and as cross alliance occurs with different lineages. While some of the lineages had still consisted of some heritage pure blood. 
Even Taylor's family lost lots of their secret arts from the past.

The angels and Devil lineage doesn't only consist of humans. It consists of dragons, elf, orc, and many other lineages. They are spread around every planet, which Taylor came to know from the past.

Taylor's family is one of those families that maintain the pure blood of humans.
Taylor's maternal family is of the Devil lineage while his father is from Angel lineage. 

Edward's family is also a Devil lineage. 
The reason for Taylor and Edward's families taking espionage and assassination as a profession is because of their affinity with the Devil power, darkness.

As for his father's family details, Taylor doesn't know a thing.

Usually, on these type of inter lineage union, the kid born either gets the power of light or the darkness. But Taylor is unique, he got both the Angel and Devil's power. That means, he has both light and darkness within him. That is also the reason, why he couldn't cultivate qi. Both these power are repelling each other. 

Nevertheless, he stumbled upon a God shrine on Fantasy World in the past and got a cultivation art that he could cultivate with the help of God's blood. And with that as hope, he dug through every nook and corner of Fantasy World for the God's blood. That is also the reason he didn't look at the happenings around him. 

He gained power but lost everything. 

In this life, he doesn't need to search for God's blood, because he got that on the gift pack. 

Thinking through everything, Taylor said, 

"Actually, I hid something from you. As I was hiding in that secret cave from the Dark wolf. Someone called me to enter the inner region of the cave. It was an ancient voice. Without any other choice, I entered the deeper part of the cave and there I saw an old man with a long beard on his face. He said to me that, I have both the light and darkness residing in me and that is the reason why I can't cultivate. He accepted me as his disciple and taught me a  special art with which I could cultivate. So, I will be staying with him for some time, there. When I finished my tutelage, I will inform you guys, okay."

Finishing his story, Taylor looked up for their reactions. 

But he became speechless on seeing their reaction. It was not the response he expected. 

Taylor's father talked, 

"Yes, I'm from Angels lineage and your mother's family is from Devil's lineage, we can accept that. We were planning to say bout that to you today. But you found out, yourself. But still, for you to say such an old story, it's so much of a repetition."

His grandfather also nodded his head, 

"I agree with Richard on this one. When I was a little kid, in every novel I read, this is said by every protagonist to hide something. A master shield. That is three generations old idea."

Taylor's face got beet red.

Edward, who was beside Taylor said, 

"Boss. You could have said the same story you said to me, upstairs. That would have been more believable"

Hearing that Taylor's mother asked curiously, 

"What is that Edward?"

Edward said as he looked at everyone, 

"Boss said that he is from the future."

Upon that, everyone gave a weird look first, and nodded their heads, 

"Yep. That would have been a better excuse."
