Zhao Siqing was silent for a while, then she said slowly, "Huo Jingchen, do you know what love is? "

While Uncle Jack was too engrossed in solving his crossword puzzle, Ning walked hastily, to and fro in the lobby's central area, as she thought of everything that had happened today at the restaurant. Her curiosity was getting too much for her to handle. 'Who was the crimson haired girl? Why did Wang kiss her? Why would he do that to a girl who was just a mere waitress?.. and so many other thoughts went through her brain. 

She walked towards Jack, who was busy in his puzzles. "Why did he kiss the waitress?" yelled Ning as she was now too irritated to see her husband sitting tension-free. "That too.. in the middle of the restaurant's parking place!!" Ning continued. 

"I can hear you, Ning. I can hear you. No need to shout," replied Jack, paying little attention to Ning, as he sat focused on solving his crossword puzzle.

"I chose one of the finest women in Shanghai for Wang, and he preferred to kiss a waitress? How dare he? Does he even know how famous Barbara is?" yelled Ning. "I think he rejected the girl.. just to insult us. Yes! Wang did this.. to insult us. First, he never picks up my call. Then, he rejects the girl I chose for him. This is heights of insult!!" snapped Ning.

Jack paid little attention to Ning's words, as he continued to solve the puzzles in the newspaper.

"Jack, can you stop that? I think this matter.. is as important to you, as it is to me. Can you use stop wasting the little brain you have on these puzzles, and use it in discussing this important issue with me? rebuked Ning, as she continued her to-and-fro walk near the fireplace.

"He wanted to kiss her, so he did. What's the big deal?" replied Jack, still focused on the crossword puzzle.

"What's the big deal?" yelled Ning, surprised at the carefree nature of her husband. "All this time, we have been setting up so many dates for Wang.. with so many gorgeous, high-standard girls. And, we couldn't even get him to hold their hands in love... or even smile with love. And all of a sudden, he kisses a girl in the middle of a restaurant!! And the girl happens to be a waitress.. a mere waitress. And you ask me.. what's the big deal?" bellowed Ning as she watched her husband, who was now smiling after having successfully entered a crossword puzzle entry.

"Okay! Calm down! Maybe, Wang saw something in that girl.. that you failed to notice. You don't have to be so fussy about the fact that she's a waitress," resumed Jack, as he wrote another puzzle entry.

There was a two minute silence in the lobby. While Jack continued with his puzzle, Ning stood still. She smiled as a thought entered her head.

"Yes Jack! That's precisely what the point is! Wang saw something in that girl," smiled Ning as she stood in pride of her intelligence. "And we have to plan something accordingly. We have to use this in our plan now," declared Ning as she tapped the side of her head with her pointer finger.

"I don't understand. What are you trying to say?" asked Jack, who now paid more attention to what Ning had to say.

"Oh my innocent husband! What I am saying is.. that we have to plan something to get that waitress involved in our mission," exclaimed Ning as her excitement soon overcame her confusion.

"Mission?" asked Jack, as he removed his spectacles and looked at Ning.

"Mission.. to get Wang married," yelled Ning angrily at her husband.

"Oh yes! Right!" sighed Jack as he stood up and went to his bedroom.

Ning sat on the sofa, that Jack vacated a few seconds back. With a look of determination, she started to think of how her plan could be implemented in the best possible way.

After thinking for a while, Wang Lei came to the conclusion that he has to kill Li wei and show others it was an accident, outside the city before arriving at the black city. But Wang Lei didn't know how to kill Li wei and show it as an accident in front of so many experts, his strength was lower than Li wei. 
Wang Lei only shook his head and thought that "let just wait and look for the opportunity" after traveling for 2 hours, they have reached Han river where the historical heritage cave located. all the miners got off their carriage. students and Liu yang were preparing their weapon and medical aid, miners were wearing their usual protective gear like helmets, gloves, long boots,s and protective suits for their bodies. they were also preparing their mining equipment like a spade, shovel, hoe, trowel, pickaxe, hammer, and others.
Liu Yang came forward and dived the 90 miners into 9 teams. Liu Yang had already explored this historical heritage so she knows the exact location of the mining area of middle-grade mana crystal. Liu Yang kept the 20 students of the top three branch guild in frontline so, they gain more battle experience, and students who were also a 3rd-year student of the top three guilds but they were more experienced and have higher level was kept in the second frontline, if the students cannot handle the battle then the second frontline will come to help them.
Liu Yang provided a bag for each miner which contain food, water, cloth, and other basic material for their daily life. Liu Yang also provides a carriage to each team which was used for transporting the mana crystal, but this carriage can be folded and can be carried as a handbag. Li wei and his three lackeys were also in miners' group, not as a miner but as a supervisor of miners.
After making all preparation, all of them enter the historical heritage cave. historical heritage cave was so large from its outer look, height about 30meter, so much ugly and located at the base of hills. but after entering the cave it became smaller and smaller.
After 3 days of traveling, they all arrived at the inner part of the cave without any danger in their way. They only found some fifth stage soldier beast in their way which was handle by frontline students easily.
There was a large gate that had cover from bottom to top of the cave in front of all of them. This gate contains the different inscription, puzzle and ancient language which had no knowledge in the current era.
Liu yang orders all to rest for a day then they will explore a historical heritage cave. Wang Lei was taking every note in his mind of detail of surroundings, to create an opportunity to kill Li wei and show it as an accident. Wang Lei teammate and also his friend didn't talk with him also ignore him due to Li wei was watching Wang Lei every minute and his surroundings. Wang Lei teammate and his friend didn't want to take notice by Li wei so they kept their distance from Wang Lei. Wang Lei didn't care about his teammate but he felt so unpleased by his friend's action.
Wang Lei sat at one of the corners and pick his food from the bag and eat. He had taken out the sleeping bag which was in the bag, he was so exhausted from traveling for 3 days so he felt slept only lying in the sleeping bag.
In the morning, all wake-up and pack up their sleeping bag, and getting ready to go to the historical heritage cave. Wang Lei had also completed his morning daily task and arrived at his team. In the Wang Lei team there were about 8 boys and 2 girls. Among 8 boys, Qi Gui was the strongest. All the present can only see after an image of Liu yang hand. after Liu yang solve the puzzle. This puzzle was a photo of a group of people of different colors. After the puzzle was solved, Liu yang order everyone to stay far away from the door. The door began to open slowly and the dust which contains in the gap of the door began to fall. All of them held deep breaths by seeing the opening door, only 10 martial body classes and Liu yang were exceptions, they had already explored this historical heritage.

In a magical world where danger was everywhere, you can be killed in every step. Wang Lei an innocent boy starts his journey to becoming the strongest among the strongest in this ruthless world.

Sarah walked through the starkly lit hallways of wing 4 where they held her brother. Parts of the hallway contained see through glass, for patients and visitors to see out into the station. However, this was more for effect during the day and morning. At night, the station's ceiling would make the darkness five times darker – to discourage people going out after curfew. The light that could seen through the glass shone like a beacon of hope for all to see. It was comforting that the hospital's architecture allowed this, Sarah thought. For space was already an unforgiving, dark vacuum – light and power became a necessity for people of Mecha Station. It was one of few comforts that one could have – this deep into space. 
Sarah looked out into the artificial night of the station and heaved a heavy sigh. As thankful as she was for the hospital to keep housing her brother – it was time to go. She knew deep down, that he wanted to stand on his own, despite his Alzheimer's. Keiji had so much potential when he was younger, which is why he and Sarah were selected to work at Mecha Station. But life happens, and not everything is sunshine roses. Sarah knew this, and was now desperate to help him. 
She stopped walking now and peered into her purse. NX7 was a new drug that was developed on earth ten years before the creation of Mecha Station. However, because of its side effects, it was cancelled and its distribution to the public botched. But low and behold, people had brought the drug with them onto Mecha Station, being sold exclusively in black market avenues. Sarah had heard of the side effects of NX7, but ruled them out as outliers. Her brother's memory was deteriorating daily and NX7 was the only thing powerful enough to stop that. 
Closing her bag now, she continued walking until she reached the room of her brother – room number five. As she entered, she ran into his doctor.
"Ahh, Ms Duranheim," said the doctor who greeted her. "He's doing well today. You might be able to get a decent conversation out of him."
"Thanks Doc," Sarah said as she sat down next to her brother who was lying in the bed. As the doctor left, Sarah pulled from her purse a crossword puzzle first and began it. As she got halfway through, she heard stirring from the bed.
"Hey, I know that one…." Keiji said.
"You do? Great, show me Keiji," Sarah said with absolute calmness. She handed him the puzzle and he filled out the rest extremely quickly. Sarah smiled as her brother was busy with the crossword. Keiji was had been one of the smartest analysts to come from Earth. Originally, he worked on the fourth floor, which was only for top analysts. Their job was to measure the output of the light from the quasar and make projections to convert it into the biological energy needed from Earth. Keeping her brother busy, was about all Sarah could do these days, but today she would try a conversation. As Keiji finished the puzzle and handed it back to Sarah, she turned to face Keiji.
"Hey there little bro, do you remember me?" Sarah asked.
"I do!" Keiji said as his eyes lit up. "You're the woman with the puzzles!" 
"That's right Keiji," Sarah said gently. "I have another surprise for you today though."
"What's that?" Keiji asked. 
"I have special medicine for you today," Sarah said. "It should help a lot. Do you want some?"
"Sure!" Keiji said. Keiji then opened his mouth and waited for Sarah to administer the new medicine. Sarah reached into her purse and pulled out one pill of NX7. She popped it into his mouth and prayed he would be ok. After a few moments, Keiji put his head onto his pillow and fell asleep. Sarah looked at her little brother peacefully sleeping and, decided to take a small nap as well.

These beings are those who are both blessed and cursed at the same time by their creator god. Now for the player's assistant and guide. They are real beings living in a separate world while also being randomly chosen as the player's assistant based on compatibiliy. They and the world they live are also created by the creator of the game but their bodies in the game is actually a form of solid-astral projection so it means that they aren't completely a part of the game.

The story will be a little graphic during  a few fight scenes in the real world of the story so please if you can't stomach gore in a apocalypse theme novel don't test your mind's imagination and your stomach's tolerance. Remember health is wealth.

The world had become an apocalyptic playground for a demonic race that had cause a outbreak of zombies and mutated beasts upon humanity and the only way to fight them was through refining oneself and gaining strength from a virtual reality video game that suddenly appeared out of nowhere called Celestial's Space Core: Evolution's Might!

A celestial was gazing upon the sea of stars that twinkle in the sky with a heavy yet sorrow filled heart. Her very being was being pulled to another multiverse to be reborn to become even stronger and transcend into higher being than ever before, but her heart was reluctant to do so because of her love for her home and almost all the races that live there. She who was a human before her rebirth as a celestial because of her unique soul will nolonger be able to come back and humanity who will be facing disaster after she leaves will not be able to protect themselves. For her last ditch effort to saving humanity after she leaves, she created a game that will change humanity and give them the strength to survive.

"So Noona how did our plan goes so far did it do any progress?" Taehyung asked 
"Taehyung don't talk while eating" Jimin glared at Taehyung 
"Stop fighting you two, so let me explain you guys first he didn't message, and second he threw paper in dustbin bu.."
"Don't worry noona he will response you, keep trying."Taehyung said interrupting Byul.
"Yah Kim Taehyung do you have death wish why do cut me off, you du..."
"Now you two stop my head is hurting from your daily bickering. And Tae he response to my third attempt so now we are friends he didn't know who really I'm but yeah we are puzzle friends."

Some moment ago 
Hana get notification as soon as Namjoon put his phone down indicating she has receive message.
'Although your two question was quite dumb but your third question was quite interesting let's see what you have got let's be a puzzle friends.'
Before going to class Hana type bunch of question and put it in timer so message can disturb Namjoon. 
During class his phone was keep vibrating but neither he see the message, nor he was been disturb, he was full concentration on lecture but whenever there was break he would reply her message. She little did know not his but her concentration was being poor. 

At night in Kim mansion Namjoon  was busy with paper work. There was sudden knock in a door then PA Han enter the room submitting some documents.
 "CEO everything is handled properly in office and here are some documents that need your sign."
"So, any message from my father." Namjoon asked him without looking up from documents.
"He wants to introduced you as a CEO next month, and also your engagement." PA Han reply politely.
"And what about the task I've given you this morning?" he asked closing the the files
"The number was registered in name of missus. And second young master was also aware of it."
" Okay now you may leave." 
Meanwhile at Kang Villa 
"Young Mistress sir has called you in his study room." a young maid report to Hana
Hana knock the door before entering to her father room." Appa why did you call me?"
"Why can't I call you just to see you, I'm missing you but you don't even care for your old father."
Kang Jae-Hyun, Hana father was ruthless business man but a loving father. After the death of his wife  Jeon Moyeon he singly handled company and house so bond between father and daughter was stronger.
"Appa nowadays you are always busy in office or study room and now you are telling me I'm not filial enough." Hana asked pouting which makes hi, brust in laughter. 
"Okay, okay I'm at fault this time sorry but I promise you after your exam I will give you a surprise."
"Really, father I will wait for it then."Hana said excitedly 
"Hana you know we can share everything right?" Jae-Hyun said nervously 
Seeing Hana nodding her head head he continue "Hana I know your age is of doing fun, meeting new people you also may have guy friend but you already know you are already engaged right?"
"Don't worry appa I will never let you down." Hana said smiling 
"I'm sorry daughter it was your mother last wish to see both of you together. Don't worry he is nice guy I'will make sure he will never hurt you."
"It's okay dad but can I know his name please I want to know about him before meeting him."

After Abel cast his first "white bone armor," a new skeleton symbol appeared on the Horadric Cube's skill tree. This meant that the spell was approved by the cube itself. From this point onward, if he wanted to use the "white bone armor" spell, he just had to activate it from his cube.
With another flip of the human-skin book, Abel found a spell rune for a new spell. The name was "clay stone guard," which was what the grey-hooded priest used to guard against spell attacks.
"I'm pretty lucky today, huh."
The "clay stone guard" was a summoning-type spell. That much was clear, but the book didn't talk about how it should be turned into armor. It didn't matter, though. All he had to do was to summon a clay stone guard from the ground.
While it wasn't the most powerful summoned creature, the clay stone guard had the spell ability to slow down its target. The effectiveness of this ability would be determined by the stone guard's overall rank. It would be -11% of the total speed at the start, and -63% at max level. The stronger the clay stone guard was, the more broken it would be at decreasing the frequency of an enemies' attacks.
As Abel drew a spell rune in the air, death qi started swarming out of it and went directly into his body. It wasn't a lot of effort to neutralize it. Soon, a stone guard made of clay appeared from the ground in front of him.
The clay stone guard didn't have very defined features. It had some holes for eyes and nose, but they weren't really there for any sort of practical reason. If it wanted to figure out what's going on in its surroundings, it just had to sense the earth, dust, rocks, and dust that were around it.
A symbol of a stone man appeared on the Horadric Cube's skill tree. The cube just learned a new skill. If Abel wanted to improve the rank of this spell, he should try to summon the clay stone guard for as long as possible.
Or, he could just use the soul potions he had in stock. He wasn't really sure about it, though. He wasn't sure if the clay stone guard was suitable for combat, so using the soul potion on it might just end up being a waste. Also, he hadn't mastered the "command stone guard" spell yet. It'd be very easy for the clay stone guard he summoned to be destroyed.
After thinking for a while, Abel decided to give up on the thought of ranking up his clay stone guard. It was not like he was short on his soul potions, but there was the need to save it for his other summoned creatures. It was probably the wise choice not to commit too much into the clay stone guard.
Abel decided to put the human-skin book into his portal bracelet. As gross as it was, it was a pretty useful book that was full of various content on using various spells. 
He decided to look further into the portal bone ring. Apart from some daily accessories that he decided to ignore, he realized that there was a small box that was lying on the table. It was an old-looking box. From its design, there was no way that it was made by the Orc Empire.
Actually, he recognized the patterns on this box. It was the same as his hanging fort. This box was from prehistoric civilization. There wasn't any lock on it, but as hard as he tried to open, he just couldn't separate the lid from the box's body.
"Is the lid stuck because it's been too long?"
As the box zoomed up in Abel's sight, he began to realize the small details that were on it. He was starting to see some peculiar patterns, which appeared to be some sort of code. They looked pretty complicated. Without finding the right line with his power of the Will, it'd be impossible to open the box correctly. 
Abel's head was starting to hurt. He could use the world stone fragment to help himself with this, but it would still take about a day to get this solved. He tried to cut the box open with his "steel" sword, but as soon as he did so, a white light came out and neglected all the impact of his swing. The box was also starting to shake in a very violent way and was making him very worried.
While it might be possible to pry the box open with a few more hits, Abel was worried that he would destroy the content that was inside. He could try to cut the edge with his power of the dimension, but unfortunately, he had already reached his daily limit by using it on the grey-hooded priest.
As it turned out, the only option was to solve the puzzle properly. After sheathing his "steel" sword, Abel reverted his attention back to the box. There were a lot of patterns that he didn't know about, so he decided to go with the simplest solution there was, and that was to insert all the possible solutions.
As simple as this method sounded, it wasn't something that anyone could do. Not everyone had Abel's brain did. The miracle spirit might be able to do this, but to be fair, it was just too hard to get access to a high-tech device like it.
Without doing anything else, Abel decided to put all his focus into the small box. It was starting to get dark, but the orcs had yet to find where he was located. 
He wasn't even trying that hard to hide from them. He was just taking a break inside his seclusion circle the whole day. He actually just forgot about them and went on solving the puzzle that was on the box.
Speaking of which, this was the first time that Abel used the stone world fragment for this long. His head was really starting to hurt, and he was seriously malnourished after using too much of his body's energy. 
After drinking a whole bottle of the blue howling rabbit's "ration potion," all the pain and hunger inside his body started going away. He tried to scan the box with his power of the Will again, and after doing so for an entire day, he was finally able to find the right way to open the box.
He started drawing a line with his finger. While doing so, he started injecting his power of the Will into the box.


I was reincarnated into another world, and I brought the Horadric Cube from Diablo II with me. 
Being a knight is cool and all, but being a wizard is pretty neat as well.

'What the hell?'
Looking at the two system notifications in front of him, Henrick was shocked as he totally forgot about the daily missions.
'What did I do today? I am in the inheritance building and didn't waste any time. So, it is okay to not complete the daily missions,'
Henrick suppressed his shock and recalled what he did the entire day to console him.
Moreover, the rewards from the daily missions would not be good as he had already got some good rewards yesterday.
'Ding,
     The trial master sent 1000 crude souls to compensate for the rewards for the daily missions.
Just as he was finding the reasons for not completing the daily mission, another notification rang in his head which gave him a pleasant surprise.
"Thank you, trial master. You are such a nice guy. Is he a guy or a girl? The voice was mechanical. Fine then...Trial master is a nice being,"
His thoughts went from thanking the trial master to the trial master's gender.
'Anyway, 1000 crude souls are equal to 10 high-level fire fruits. So, the trial master is really generous when it comes to rewards,'
Henrick saw the price of a high-level fire fruit in the soul store and compared it to the crude souls that the trial master had sent as compensation for his daily missions as he mostly got the high-level fire fruits from completing the daily mission.
'Thinking of trail master's generosity, I still didn't open the gift box from the third trial,'
All of a sudden, Henrick recalled the reward for his third trial and thought in his head, 'System, gift box.'
'Swoosh'
Soon, a gift box appeared in his hands.
'I wonder, what is inside it,'
The gift box was around 10 cubic centimeters which made him think while opening it.

The moment he opened the box, three words shined on the book inside the box.
'Haha...trial master sure knows how to give rewards for the challengers,'
He didn't bother to open the book, before storing it inside the inventory as he silently thought in his head.

'From tomorrow, I have to enter the inheritance building in the morning, complete a level 0 trial and while staying inside the inheritance building, I have to complete the daily missions and return to the working disciples' courtyard in the evening,'
Soon, he planned his daily schedule for the next six days and went to sleep while dreaming about refining an immortal weapon that could destroy the entire province with just a casual slash.

Henrick evaluated the difficulty of the daily missions into easy, average and hard before nodding his head.

He just wants to finish today's trial before focusing on the daily missions before going back to the working disciples' courtyard.

Just like before his third trial, the trial master asked Henrick to check the soul store before he issued a trial.
"Sure"
Unlike before, Henrick didn't reject that suggestion fearing he might miss something and hurriedly moved towards the soul store.

However, there was no special sale or discounts in the soul store that made Henrick raise his brows.
'Right! I will buy that,'
Soon, Henrick recalled something and hurriedly thought about the item and that item appeared on the light screen.
"Small comprehension pill - 1000 crude souls"
"I will buy that,"
He directly paid the amount before taking the small comprehension pill from the soul store.
'Ding,
     A 'small comprehension pill' is stored in the master's inventory. Do you want to use it now?

     Trial:- Fight is selected.

     Please enter room number 34.
Soon, the trial master selected a random level 0 trial and asked him to enter trial room number 34.
"Fight? I hope there will be a lot of beasts to kill. So that I can fill my account with lots of crude souls,"
Since the trial name was 'Fight', Henrick hoped the trial room to be filled with beasts before entering the trial room.
