One rainy day like any others while running to go and watch the last chapter of Bleach he saw on his way a girl with a few bullies in the alley... He thought to himself (perphaps i can save the day and take the girl).... 

Little did he know that those thoughts - bullies and girl were the reason for a new  exciting life........

Mrs. Groscow observed her seventeen year old daughter as she walked down the stairs a visible scowl on her lips. Her tongue flicked through her teeth and the wine glass was swooshing dangerously on her fingers.

Jeans booty shorts and of course a purple tank top. Mia stopped at the end of the stair and crosses her arms.

"So you've resorted to flaunting? I see you gave up on your face." The first thing she uttered to her, kicking up her left leg across the right one.

Mia rolled her eyes and shifted her weight to her right foot.

"You're too fat for those shorts."Her mom points out blankly taking another sip of her drink. " You got a lot of mirrors to check that out for yourself, don't you?"

"I know. And that is why apps were created." She whispered but her mom caught  it, a small smile tugging at the end of her lips. The older woman's brow creaked app and she mused at her words.

"Why didn't you go to school today?" She chose to change the subject leaning back on the couch.

"My face." Mia obviously stated. She had vowed not to ever apply make up... Although she wanted to; apply concealer on her zits, mascara, a little lipstick perhaps.

'Oh my goodness Mia!You look like an undercooked turkey!' Her mother's words.

"I don't give a hoot miss! You have to go to school whether you look ugly, or uglier."

Luke Groscow got in at this moment. A male servant took his coat, briefcase and car keys. According to Annah, no female hand shall lay her hand on her man.

She was right to be protective, after all Luke was a male model, a really good looking male model younger than Annah by three years.

"Hey honey." He greeted his wife and made for the little drink area. "Hello Mia."He voiced to her daughter lifting the drink to her in some sort of a toss. She gave him a small smile.

He then walked back across the room and slumped down the comfy white couch. Pure fur.

"Your daughter missed school, again!" Annah started going back to the random act of flicking her tongue inside her mouth.

"Why?"

"Puberty. Look at her ugly face."

"Annah!" Luke raised his voice a little. He nervously watched Mia at the corner of his eye.

An uncomfortable silence enveloped them for about a minute.

"What's wrong with that? She's bright." Luke said in a monotone. A little low this time.

"That doesn't mean she can miss school, Luke."

"I need a shower." Luke announced downing his drink.

He walked to Mia and cupped her cheek. "You'll be fine. At least now everyone will want to look at your pretty face."

Mia smiled. Her dad always gave her hope. Always made sure she was smiling.

Yet her mom was the complete opposite. She is the one who got her a full make up set... Indirectly telling her you're ugly, yet she's still the one who hated the same make up on her.

"Just give me a minute and we'll go get that mirror, okay?"

Mia nodded. Yester night she was so mad she punched her bathroom mirror six times, getting hurt in the process.

Because she let her mother's words get to her.

They drove out of their expansive house onto a private road for five minutes before joining the main road.

Mia looked outside the window as they passed the mall. She didn't want to get her mirror from the mall because most of her schoolmates hang out there... and she wouldn't be seen dead with her pimply face.

They were going to an old shop downtown belonging to an old black man. She found the place after getting lostin the area. Of course she had to glance around before asking for directions.

"Here we are." Her dad announced stopping the car.

"I'll go alone." Mia quickly stopped her dad from unbuckling his seat belt.

She didn't want him to see her posing in front of mirrors, possibly giving herself a complimenting speech and other self embarrassing acts. "Just wait here. I will try not to take long."

"Well, okay..."

The door chimed on opening and the shop was visibly empty. No shopper appeared to be present apart from her.

"Hello?"She called looking around. The reception area was also empty. She decided to walk around the isles, admiring the fancy, plain and artistic mirrors.

"Hello?"She called out again. Last time he was here. The man was odd and always zoned out in his speech and it spooled her a little but he was no threat.

"Careful young girl, your voice might break the mirrors!" Mia whipped around immediately a little startled. The old man closed the door, made of a mirror that it actually looked like he was coming out of it.

He had the same old tired but warm smile on his face.

"Good evening Mr.William you do remember me?"

"Well of course!" He laughed and walked to her to shake her hand. "You're the crazy one, right?" His hands were rough and crusty and he possessed a firm grip. He released her hand finally and walked behind the counter.

Entirely reflective.

"What can I interest you with miss Groscow?" She was a little amazed that he remembered her awkward second name. Nevertheless, she spoke up.

"I need a bathroom mirror."

"Just that? Oh we have a lot... Framed perhaps? Slitted?"

"I need your most clearest mirror."

"Clearest?"

"Yes clearest, doesn't matter really, it'll still work."

"Well,all my mirrors are clear as you see, but you do want the clearest?"

"Yes."

"Okay then." The sir walked from the counter and walked to the door he had come out earlier.

"Come on, you have to pick for yourself... I have two of them, nobody really seemed interested in having the clearest mirror so they stay up back.

Mia nodded. She half trusted the man enough to set her teaser at 60V, not too much to kill him or paralyse him.

The back of the store was like a workshop. Wood and mirrors, noise from the glass cuter worked by a man and a set of boys preparing a frame.

"Here we are." Mr.William announced walking past the two boys.

He opened a closet and called one of the boys to help him take them out. Mr.William stood them on the width side leaning on the wall.

They were clear, more than Mia ever imagined. The surface seemed like a calm river, promising a ripple if the surface was gently poked.

But one had a slight crack on the left corner, and given the angle of a perfectionist by her mother, she picked the other one.

It was framed with dark brown wood and carved into a beautiful pattern. It looked ancient,and she fell in love with it. She took one last look of herself and smiled.

She turned and waited for Mr.William to finish showing the boys how to smoothen the edges.

"Which one will it be?" Mr.William asked still helping his boys out.

"The framed one."

"You got it, give me a minute."

Mia wanted to turn and look at it once more. Her reflection on it was beyond perfect, it was beautiful. It gave her a sense mysterious sense of security. She opted to look around the place, placing her hand over her lips.

If only she would turn then maybe she would change her mind, because her image was still smiling.

Beauty can be overwhelming sometimes. Mia punishes herself for being what the society calls 'ugly' striving to create a picture perfect image. She builds up an odd obsession to mirrors.

But no matter the clearest mirror she'll get, she's still the same old face. This time however, the mirror is not only the clearest, it's the scariest... She ends up being thrown into a world belonging to the dark forces, and she has no choice but to choose survival, that is until she is able to escape and claim her old life and stolen identity back.

Charming Luscious, a demon in training has other plans and so does a few who come to learn of a mortal in their world.

EPISODE with JASON "SWINGO" JONAS
September, 2009
SAN JUAN CHAMULA, MEXICO

Jason "Swingo" Jonas walks into the street of a sprawling Mexican town on a bright afternoon, a light hip-pack slung over his shoulder like a bandolier. Behind him his big blond friend peers under the hood of their Humvee at a Pemex station. The other two agents are approaching the porch of an outdoor cafe.
Jonas strolls by himself about the streets, sipping occasionally from his water bottle. He looks with amusement on the sights. The mix of architectural styles includes Spanish Colonial. Among the generally low, plain buildings is the occasional brick wall or even a full building that looks as if it could date back to the era of the Conquistadors.
Jonas studies the locals who pass, generally short and dark people, many in their brightly colored traditional dress, replete with broad hats and sashes. Some of the adult men walk together in small groups, and Jonas recognizes them as the village elders, the judges and police force of the community. They wear white, fleecy poncho-vests and broad, light cowboy hats that sit pertly on their skulls. 'Did they all order their hats a size too small?' Jonas asks himself. He wonders if it is an odd inverse of the "prison pants" craze back in the U.S.
Jonas passes the occasional handful of men or women in thin, black, neck-covering ski masks or balaclavas. Most are armed. Some wear military fatigues. All walk with impunity if not a swagger, sashaying around like heroes or celebrities. Jonas remembers again that this region doesn't trust the Mexican government to guard it, nor does this city allow police or military within its limits. He smirks to himself, wondering who would blame them hearing of the corruption reputed to permeate the Mexican police. There is clearly a lot of sympathy in Chamula village for these Zapatistas. Jonas also reflects that this heavily Maya province may feel an ethnic divide from the rest of Mexico, hence even more sympathy for these Maya-centric revolutionaries. Jonas admires them himself. To him, the Zapatistas seem a logical group, not prone at all to purposeless violence. He doubts that they would present a threat to his small crew unless their mission were mistaken.
The low city of San Juan Chamula is set on generally level ground, though it is framed by modest-sized, modestly-wooded hills. The general feel of the place is bowl-like. Some of the village streets are paved with light-colored flagstones, but others are made of hard-packed dirt. Jonas wonders to himself what the place could be like during a rain.
Jonas comes to the market. He spots the occasional group of apparent Americans or Europeans, and they often greet each other with nods or smiles. He looks all about him at the people and the vendor stands. No matter how much time he has spent in this nation, it never lacks something to amaze him. The splendor among the wares - natural, crafted, and manufactured - is riotous. Has there ever been a people more in love with color?
Jonas finds many of the local women attractive, though they seem to him to age fast. He has no plans to approach even the young ones. Not only has he been told that they tend to be virtuous - all but the hookers - but the last thing his group needs is more attention than their appearance alone will attract. So far as anyone knows, they are journalists or adventure tourists who merely resemble American undercover agents. If he had wanted to disguise himself, Jonas reflects ruefully, he'd be back in his college-professor clothing. There would have been nothing to do about his three colleagues, though, who had minds of their own.
The market of San Juan Chamula is dominated by the looming profile of a large white stucco Colonial-era church with an odd, gorgeous green ornamented arch of an entrance. Jonas has become used to its mix of classical Western architecture with distinctly native coloring and ornamentation. He understands that the religious rites within will be a blend of the same themes, of Spanish Catholicism with pre-Conquest Maya culture. The church seems to be the focus of a lot of human energy, and Jonas wanders up to it bemusedly. It is not a Sunday. He wonders what the attraction is. Are they showing a film? Do they have musicians?
Jonas spots both locals and tourists making donations at the door supervised by a couple of men in fleecy vests. Jonas drains the last slosh from his bottle and takes a bill out of his pocket.
Inside is a spectacle. It is the church itself that is the focus of interest.
The church has no pews. Its core is as open as a basketball court. To the sides it is a different story. Broad swaths of cloth fall down the walls like tapestries. The altar at the back and the tables at the sides are bright with votive candles in small glass jars. Candles also stand alone on the floor, held upright by drops of the wax they burn. There have to be several hundred of them, and not many of them are big and broad. Tending to them would be a nonstop job for many volunteers. The floors are covered with evergreen boughs and needles that would be aromatic enough on their own. The air, though, is full of the scent and smoke of incense whose clouds make interesting images in the beams of sunlight that come through the high, broad windows. The interior of this man-made structure gives Jonas the odd impression of a clearing in a forest.
Jonas is careful to repress his own reflex to take out his cell phone. There is a ban on photography, in the town and especially in the Church, and Jonas has heard the reasoning behind it. Like many of the world's indigenous people, the locals believe that one's image is related to one's power, character, and spirituality. Every picture taken of a person could rob him or her of just a bit of life-essence or even be used to turn that vital force to other purposes. At the least, the loss of self might drive an individual away from his or her center. Taking pictures of the figurines of the saints in their frames about the Church might gradually rob them, too, of their power to do good, including answering parishioners' prayers. Jonas reflects with a chuckle on his estimate of the character of some of the world's most photographed people - actors, rock musicians, politicians - and wonders how wrong the Chiapas Maya could be. To him, most of the celebrities in his own society look like they are arrogantly posing, either searching for their own centers or knowingly abandoning them in the quest for hipness.
Some of the saints he sees about him are decked with unorthodox, seemingly native items - flowers, pineapples - as well as mirrors. Jonas figures that these reflective surfaces are probably intended to ward negative influences, again hinting at the persistent impression among these folk of the force of the image.
Jonas sees other surprising practices. Some of the locals enter bearing bottles of what appears to be Pepsi or Coke, which they gulp in a way that seems designed to encourage belches, which they then deliver enthusiastically. They are not big people, though, and however they try, Jonas hears nothing that would outdo his former college classmates or even the rowdy crew he travels with. He smiles at the thought.
Others sip what appears to be an alcoholic drink, poured into little cups out of recycled plastic beverage bottles. Jonas presumes it's a local concoction made out of corn or sugar cane that could have been traditional to the Maya before the Spanish arrived. After these sips, little clans of people chant before the effigies of their chosen saints in a language Jonas knows is neither Spanish nor Latin. Some of those have brought live chickens with them, and to Jonas this custom is most mysterious. He has heard that the eventual result of the matter could be the sacrifice of the living creature. He does see a few perfunctorily snapped necks, and it affects him strongly. He leaves with mixed impressions.
Jonas has learned to steel himself against physical and emotional circumstances that could cause tension. He has fought many of his natural fears, of heights, closed spaces, speed, and conflict. He can't understand why he finds this experience so troubling. He processes his thoughts as he walks the city streets.
He wonders in despair at first how far the mass of humanity has truly come. He sees the mix of tribalism and indigenous identity all around him. He reflects upon the world's struggle with fundamentalist terror, particularly coming from groups that work in the name if not the spirit of Islam. Within the hour, his sentiments change. He will confess years later that, by the time he returns to his comrades, a sense of admiration has come over him for such a determined preservation of culture, of spirituality, and of ancestral identity. It is not the force the world needs to dread; it is only the purpose to which it could be turned.

Saint flipped his keys in his hand gently spinning them in a circle.
He smiled when he saw Heart walk out from his building surprised to see him there.
'That face makes my days brighter every time. I dunno how I can ever thank you enough for bringing that feeling back. I guess I will just have to enjoy these last three weeks we have together. It was the longest grandfather could delay that monster for'
'Just enjoy these last weeks, they are all you have left before your life is ruined. Before you take that monster down.'
"What are you doing here?"
"I... I didn't know I would see you."
"Get in." Saint smiled.
"Why? What are we doing?" Heart asked. Saint held open the door to the car with a bemused smile as Heart obeyed him.
He shut the door, then walked around the other side of the car and got in, then looked over at Heart, blinking softly.
"What are you waiting for? And where are we going?"
"What makes you think we are not going to the office?" Saint asked.
"You are not wearing a suit, just some jeans, a belt and a blue shirt. We are not going to the office are we?" Heart asked him confused
Saint grinned.
"Smart." He said then buckled up his seat belt and drove off.
When he pulled up outside the store that said Jiritiratap Clothier. He turned off the car and unbuckled his seat belt.
He had the car door open before he realized that Heart wasn't moving.
"What are we doing Saint? You kidnap me away on a Saturday and I asked you repeatedly what we were."
Saint chuckled, got out of the car and smiled before walking round the car opening the door and leaning in.
Heart yelped.
"Like all you have to do is tell me what we are doing. Why do you always have to be so stubborn?"
"You can come out of the car, or I will come in."
"I don't care if you get back in. It's your car." Heart started stubbornly.
Saint raised an eyebrow and grinned like a cat in cream.
"Oh, see I was hoping you would say that."
He reached back and flipped a button and shoved Heart's seat all the way back quickly.
Heart yelped from the shock of being thrown backwards suddenly.
Saint put his hands on either side of the seat and climbed into the passenger seat on top of Heart straddling his legs on either side. He braced himself, his hands pressed into either side of the chair and he began lowering his butt down to sit on Heart's lap.
Saint smiled wickedly as the panic flushed Heart's face a bright scarlet red.
"Saint!"
Heart gasped.
"What are you doing, it's the middle of the day, and the street isn't empty?."
"Oh, is that the only problem you see with this?"
"Saint, I.. Get off, I will go, okay!"
Saint leaned forward.
"Perfect" He purred lightly in Heart's ear. Before he shoved the seat and got up. Backing out of the car. He held the door open pretending to be a perfect gentleman.
Heart got out of the vehicle, but refused to even glance up. Saint could tell for the tips of his ears just how embarrassed he was.
Saint closed the door, then motioned to the building.
"Let's go get you some new suits, yeah?"
Heart walked into the store sulking, and Saint paused to listen. Jerry had been using the same little bell since he was little and its soft chimes always reminded Saint of those times when as a little boy he would come with his Grandfather to watch him get a new suit.
The deep rich chestnut wall and bright sconce lighting, lit up the entire wall behind the desk, and there was a little custom made stand built onto the back wall, filled with tiny little square patches of fabric for quality examples. There were two full suits on mannequins and across from that was a counter filled with suit accessories, like cuff links, ties, buttons, custom threading, clasps. Bolo's. Jerry had it all behind that glass case. Further back there was a table for cutting and behind it were rolls of fabric against the wall on one side, and on the other was a wall of basic undershirts sorted by size and colour. All fully customizable.
Behind the table in the furthest corner were six floor to ceiling height mirrors.
Jerry came out of the back and his face lit up with enthusiasm the moment he saw who it was.
"Wan, how is the panda bear doing?" Jerry asked immediately.
Saint couldn't help but smile. He had been using the nickname Saint since he was a kid yet Jerry still would only call him what Amonrat would and Grandfather never called him anything but Wan.
"Wan?" Heart whispered softly.
"My name." Saint leaned in and answered back.
Heart smacked his lips together and glared.
"Yes, I figured that much out, do I look like an idiot?"
"Your name is so cute. Waan, like sweet or Wan like, day?"
Saint raised his eyebrows and walked off to the corner where Jerry leaned across a long, wide table with samples, he knew Heart was glaring at him for not answering.
'But it was too funny. So he left it at that.'
"It's Waan for sweet isn't it?"
"So, do you have a specific cut in mind? I know you said you wanted specific fabrics used. The satin suit will be very delicate."
"I want a princess cut for all and he needs seven suits."
"Ah, I was thinking maybe this pattern here. Saint sketched out a pattern really quickly, I want this one in a royal blue."
"Sure, I can get that to you. Do You want to go with warm jewel tones for all the suits then to a kind of have them match the rich colour of the royal?"
"Yes, and Ah, Jerry silver trim on the blue, okay."
Jerry smiled. Wrote some stuff down, then stuck the pencil behind his ear.
"Okay, well just write down the measurements when you are done, I will be upstairs making an espresso."
"Come up when you are done."
He gave Heart a wink, then turned and started slowly up the stairs.
Saint watched him leave with a smile, then grabbed the tape measure he had left behind and turned to Heart.
Heart looked at him.
"I… Shouldn't he be the one measuring me.?"
"Nope," Saint grinned, wiggling his eyebrows, then advanced on Heart slowly.
Saint pointed at the spot with all the mirrors.
Heart nodded and walked over, stood on the small black platform in the centre of the mirrors and waited standing there tapping his leg.
Saint chuckled.
"You have never done this before, have you?"
Heart shook his head no.
Saint stepped forward.
He didn't want to admit it aloud, but this was his first time too. His first time taking someone into his safe place. First time of opening up and letting someone new in after Win.
Saint took the flimsy tape measure and looked at Heart.
"I have to measure your chest first."
