Damon's POV
It's Sunday, and that means I am on my way to the orphanage.
As you can see, every Sunday, I go to the orphanage to donate grocery items. Not just that. I love kids, that's why going to the orphanage and helping them is my top priority.
Also, every year, I organize a charity and a fundraiser to the orphanage.
When I arrive and get out of the car, all the kids went to me.
 
"Good morning, Mr. Damon,"
"Good morning, kids. I have something for all of you,"
"Yehey!"
"Lets' go inside,"
"Ok!"
 
When we went inside the orphanage, sister approached and greeted me.
 
"You're early today, Damon,"
"Yeah. I'm not busy today, so here I am. I brought some grocery items,"
"Thank you,"
 
Sister put the grocery items in the kitchen, and I went to the kids playing outside.
I watch the kids play. They are playing tag.
 
"Mr. Damon. Come and play with us,"
"Ok"
"Tag. You're it, Mr. Damon,"
"Oh, get ready because I'm going to get you!"
"Ah! Run!"
 
The kids and I are playing, when a kid called someone.
I looked who it is, and it's a she, and she is beautiful.
 
"Hello, Ms. Lara!"
"Hello, kids. How are you all doing?"
"We're fine!"
"Glad to hear that. I'm sorry I didn't come here last week because I'm super busy,"
"It's ok, Ms. Lara,"
"I brought storybooks and coloring books all for you,"
"Yehey! Tell a story!"
"Ms. Lara will tell you a story later. Now, let's all get inside and have some snacks, ok?"
"Ok! We're starving!"
 
The kids went inside, and I looked at her. She is so beautiful in close-up.
 
"Oh, I recognize you,"
"You recognize me?"
"Uhum. At the le restaurant. When Mr. Lewis proposed to Zarah,"
"Oh, you are there?"
"Yup, because I am working at Mr. Lewis's company and I'm a friend of Zarah,"
"Oh. I am also there because I'm the best friend of Lewis,"
"By the way, my name is Lara Collins,"
 
Lara lends her hand for a handshake, and I handshake her hand.
 
"Nice to meet you, Lara. My name is Damon Sanders,"
"Let's go inside, Lara and Damon," Sister said.
"Coming! Let's go?"
"Uhum"
 
Lara and I went inside and ate snacks with the kids.
After eating, all the kids went to Lara and asked her to read them a story, and Lara agreed.
We all went to the living room and listen to Lara.
When Lara is telling the kids a story, I can't help but look at her. Lara is so beautiful, and my heart is pounding so fast. Is this love at first sight? Is she the girl that I'm waiting for?
After telling a story, the kids are coloring a book.
Lara went to me.
 
"The kids are busy coloring. Let's go to the garden?" Lara said.
"Ok"
 
Lara and I went to the garden.
 
"Do you come here often?"
"I come here every Sunday, and you?"
"I come here once a week. I buy them storybooks and coloring books. Though I didn't come here last week because I was busy with work,"
"I give them grocery items, and every year, I would organize a charity or fundraiser for the orphanage,"
"Oh. You must be rich. Do you own a company perhaps?"
"I own the Sanders Company,"
"The Sanders Company? So you are an architect?"
"Yup"
"I am also an architecture graduate,"
 
Lara and I talked about work and some random stuff.
I am comfortable talking to her, and I think we are close already.
After talking, we went inside and see what the kids are doing, and they are still coloring.
When it's already 11:30, Lara and I said goodbye's to the kids.
 
"We are going now. See you soon, kids,"
"Oh, Mr. Damon and Ms. Lara are so good together. Don't you think?"
"Yes!"
 
Lara and I looked at each other and quickly avoid eye contact.
 
"We need to go, kids,"
"See you soon!"
 
Lara and I went outside the orphanage.
I am now inside my car, and I saw Lara waiting for a taxi, I think.
I was thinking of taking her home, so I got out of the car.
 
"Lara!"
"What is it, Damon?"
"Get in the car. I will take you home,"
"It's ok. I will wait for a taxi,"
"Don't be shy, and it's so hot outside. Get in the car, and I will take you home,"
"Ok"
 
Lara went to my car. I opened the shotgun seat for Lara.
 
"Thanks"
"You're welcome,"
 
I get in my car and drove.
I asked Lara where her address is, and she responded.
I looked at the time, and it's already noon.
 
"Do you want to eat lunch? I'm starving already"
"Ok"
 
After some minutes, we've arrived at the restaurant.
 
"I think this is an expensive restaurant, Damon,"
"No problem, my treat,"
"Uh"
"No need to be shy. Let's go inside?"
"Ok"
 
Lara and I went inside and look for a vacant table. And after that, a waiter went to us and took our orders.
After 20 minutes, our orders are served, and we started eating.
After we are done eating, I paid for the bill, we went out of the restaurant, and get inside the car.
After 30 minutes, Lara said that we've arrived. Lara lived in an apartment.
 
"Do you live there alone?"
"Yes, because my parents live in the province. When I went to college, I moved here and started living independently. I can't afford a house yet, and my parents are not that rich, so"
 
Lara is so independent.
 
"Oh, ok,"
"So, goodbye,"
 
When Lara is about to open the door of my car, I stopped her.
 
"What is it, Damon?"
"Can I have your number?"
"Ok"
"Here's my phone,"
 
Lara typed her number.
 
"Here. I got to go. Thank you,"
"No problem,"
 
After that, I went home.
 
Lara's POV
I had a great day today.
By the way, my name is Lara Collins.
I think I don't need to introduce myself because you already know me.
Earlier, I met the guy at the le restaurant yesterday, and his name is Damon Parker. He is also going to the orphanage like me. And I was shocked because he is the owner of the Sanders Company. He is so rich. 
When I saw him at the le restaurant yesterday, my heart starts to pound so fast. I think it's love at first sight.
I get to know him, and I think he is a gentleman and a kind guy. 
I went inside my apartment and watch television.
While watching television, my phone rang, and it's a text message from an unknown number.
 
"Hi"
"Who are you?"
"We met at the orphanage today,"
"Damon?"
"Yup, it's me,"
"Sorry about that"
"It's ok. What are you doing now?"
"Watching television. You?"
"I just arrived home,"
"Oh"
 
And the conversation went on.

[Eya's POV]

Me and Elea draw in peace as our friend/roommate takes his nap. When we arrived here, everything is quite akward. Since no one knows each other and we just met.

Earlier from the cafeteria, when I invited Jask to play with us, I was going to ask what was his life about. But since he's just so cold, he just shook and went to see back to our sit. Luckily, A kid with brown hair with black tips, blue eyes but lighter than Jask's, and with round glasses. 

He wore the exact outfit just like us, except Elea, since she always wears a scarf. When I asked her about that, she just smiled and told me let's talk about that in other times.

"Do you think he is okay?" Elea asked with worrisome in her tone. 

"Yeah, he's just tired or something," I replied.

She nodded and continue coloring the tiger in different colors. I looked at her coloring and she looked up to me, "What?" She said.

"Um.. do you know the color of the tiger's fur is orange?" I said. She looked down her paper and the color she held. 

She puts back the color she held, brown, and changed to color orange. She went to grab another copy of the tiger and started to color again.

"Um.. it might come out bad for you but, Have you ever gone to school?" 

She stopped coloring and looked up to me, she smiled. "No, My parents aren't always there. Im an only child, so that means I have no siblings. Basically, my parents abandoned me." She said.

I looked at her in disbelief, I opened my mouth to say something but no words came out. She puts down the color and went to reach over to pat my head, "No need to apologize, I already accepted it." She smiled.

"How about this, You teach me how to color properly," she suggested. I looked over her coloring and saw the color oranged kept on passing through the lines.

I nodded, "Sure.." I murmured.

She smiled at my response and went back to coloring, I stand up on my chair and went to assist her on her coloring. 

[3rd POV]

Jask woke up from his nap, looked around and saw his two friends coloring. He ghostly smiled and gets off bed then went to the two.

"Hey, what are you two doing?" Thw two girls jumped in suprised and looked behind them to only see a Yuuki Makoto Like Jask.

"Teach Elea to color," Eya said then went to guide Elea.

Elea looked in awe at Eya then at her coloring. Jask went to grab a book then sat infront of the two girls. Elea finished the coloring, with the help of Eya. She hugged Eya and repeatedly said 'Thank you!'

Jask looked up from his book and saw the two, he remembed what Chris said earlier at the cafeteria.

'They looks so happy, I wish I can be like them.'

Jask's blue eyes returned back to a empty void like eyes and went to read his book again. But those eyes flickered with slight light again as Elea asked him to help her read.

"Sure," He replied.

Elea went to grab a book with the help of Eya, again. He closed his book and placed it at side. Elea returned with a book then went to sit beside the bluenette.

"Happy three little pigs?" Jask asked.

Elea sheepishly smiled then told him her reasons, Jask nodded in understandment then went to teach her.

Jask fell asleep on the table where he was teaching Elea. As for Elea, Eya went to teach her instead. Since Jask fell asleep.

Jask woke up from the sound of their door opening and Caretakers reeling in a cart with food and drinks. Caretakers put the food infront of the three kids then left the room. 

The three looked at each other then start to eat lunch. They heard the speaker talk from the speakers, "Hello kids! I see you all eating and helping each other, hm? Especially you three, Eya, Jask, and Elea. You three did today's challenge! Helping each other. Anways, enjoy your meal! Bye bye!" The speaker signed out.

"Challenged? I didn't know we have challenges here!" Eya smiled as her eyes lits up in excitment.

"Well aren't you a cheery one when it comes to challenges," Elea said.

"I might be hyper all the time, but that doesn't mean I can't stop from every challenges!" She exclaimed.

Elea giggled and drinked her lemon juice. "Let's hope the next challenge isn't that much deadly.

A young male named Jask Lans, woke up in an all white room. No doors. No windows. Nothing to escape to. He always asked himself with questions, but one question is stuck at his mind.

 "Will I survive this?"



"What can I do for you, Alexandra?"
 
 
A woman in their early-30s approached Alexandra as she was in the living room. She was a fairly tall and slender woman, a quarter of her hair was tied in a half-up style and it suited her small face. The slender woman was wearing a uniform, a maid's uniform, to be exact. She was Diana's maid, Lilith.
 
 
A month has already passed by ever since she started living here. She was rather comfortable in this place, getting able to have the things that she wants and needs without going through that much trouble and such. She was also free to do whatever that she wants here and Diana wasn't restricting her to do things. If she wants to go outside, then she can go outside but she has to be with someone, obviously. It would be either Diana or Lilith who would go outside with her.
 
 
Though she doesn't go outside that much and would only head towards the park or playground where she can play with the swings or seesaw. She would also play with the sandbox where there are also a few kids, mostly younger than her playing. They would even be sometimes with someone, it could be their guardian, siblings, or parents. It's not like she's jealous or anything but those would sometimes ruin her mood and make her want to go home.
 
 
"Can you color with me?"
 
 
Alexandra told the lady who was standing in front of her. Alexandra was on the carpet with her things like crayons, pencil, notebook, and coloring books around her though the books were placed on top of the table that was being surrounded by couches.
 
 
The interior of the room was rather bright because it was still afternoon and the curtains were opened thus making the sunlight pass through and illuminate the place. In front of her was the television which was turned off, she got bored watching the shows on TV that's why she turned off and decided to color but thought that it would be boring if she did it alone that's why she asked for Lilith's presence. Diana wasn't here as she was still at her work so Alexandra and Lilith were only the one in the house.
 
 
 
"Sure, Alexandra. Which book should I color?"
 
 
Lilith smiled at her sweetly as she took a seat beside her, being careful and not accidentally sit on the crayons that were scattered on the carpet. Alexandra handed her a mandala coloring book which Diana bought for her because Alexandra requested it, thinking that the book was rather interesting and she likes it rather than those coloring books that are princesses and cartoon characters. Diana was hesitant about buying it though because mandala coloring books are supposed to be for people years older than her age.
 
 
"Oh, you have a mandala coloring book? Isn't this quite hard to color for you, Alexandra?"
 
 
"Not really, it's rather fun to color than hard."
 
 
Alexandra opened a coloring book and started doing her thing while she would be talking with Lilith, responding to her questions as she asked her and such.
 
 
"Do you know how to read, Alexandra?"
 
 
"Yes, my mother taught me to do so. She also taught me how to write. She would also teach me how to solve math problems and such when she isn't that busy. I learned almost everything a kid like me should learn how to do," Alexandra responded as she flipped the book to the next page.
 
 
Lilith was a rather polite and cheerful lady, she's also hard-working and was a maid for Diana for years just so she has something to feed to her family and buy with their daily needs. Since Lilith have a younger sibling, a few years older than Alexandra, it wasn't that hard to take care of her. Alexandra wasn't like any other kids that like to throw tantrums and loves to run around. Despite not going to school and was only inside her house her entire life, she was rather intelligent.
 
 
 
Perhaps it was because of the genes and her mother, who was also a smart woman, taught her.
 
 
"When is Diana going to come home?"
 
 
Lilith hummed before she responded. "I'm not sure with that, she only told me that she would be able to come home early. Probably an hour or two from now."
 
 
She only responded with a nod before she continued doing what she was doing. She recalled a memory which only happened a week ago about Diana asking her some things during the night while she was on the bed about to sleep.

"Alexandra, I got something to ask you."
 
 
Diana sat down on the edge of the bed as she looked at Alexandra who was laying down on it, the blanket covering up to her shoulder. When she heard what Diana said, she was curious and it was seen on the expression of her face. She opened her mouth to speak and respond to her.
 
 
"What is it?"
 
 
"You see…"
 
 
Diana looked like she was hesitating as it took her a few seconds to continue what she was trying to say, fidgeting with her hands in the process.
 
 
"If possible, would you like to go to school or would you rather have a home tutor to teach you? I think going to school to learn is the best choice but if possible, which would you prefer?"
 
 
It was rather an unusual question to ask Alexandra who took a moment to respond to her question. She hummed as she thought before she responded to her in a low voice, "I think I would prefer to go to school rather than have a home tutor. I could interact with other kids around my age and have friends. Aside from that, I think school would be fun."
 
 
That was what she said and Diana only listened to her calmly, nodding as she spoke. Right, it's no wonder that she would choose to go to school. I mean, she didn't have that much interaction with other children around her age because her mother only kept her in their home and wasn't allowed to go out since nobody would be there to guard her, she thought to herself and nodded.
 
 
"I see, then that's good. I think going to school is the better choice."
 
 
"Yes, but why are you asking?"
 
 
Alexandra asked as she stared at her but Diana only smiled and said, "It's nothing, you should go to sleep now," She then stood up and headed towards the door where the light switch is seen so that she could turn the lights off but before she does so, she took one last look at Alexandra and smiled at her. "Good night and sweet dreams, Alexandra."

Alexandra was bothered by that question of hers for days and she would think of why she would ask her that. Does she not know which one is better that's why she asked for my opinion? Is she planning on letting me go to school since that's the choice that I picked? I mean, that's not impossible, but thinking about it, making her go to school was rather hard. There are some requirements and for a child like her that didn't go to school for years and was only being taught by her mother, the requirements would be more than the usual.
 
 
"Alexandra? What are you thinking? Are you hungry? Would you like me to make you something? I think there are some cookies left, would you like me to get it for you?" Lilith snapped her out of her thoughts when she called out to her and asked her several things. She noticed that Alexandra was in rather deep thought and stopped coloring.
 
 
"Oh, no. It's fine. I'm just thinking about the cartoon that I watched earlier."
 
 
"I see. Should we turn on the TV? We can watch while we color."
 
 
"No, it's okay. I don't think the cartoon is still going on at this time."
 
 
Alexandra just smiled at her before she continued her task. Lilith only nodded and tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear. It was silent and the only sound heard was the scribbling of crayons on paper, Alexandra didn't mind the silence though because it was making her relax and focus on what she was coloring.
 
 
But as they were doing so, a sudden loud series of knocks coming from the front door was heard and startled them. Lilith stopped from what she was going and looked at the direction of the door with a confused face. That must be Miss Diana already but why would she knock on the door when she can just enter? Is she carrying some things? But she would open the door and carry the things one by one. I also don't remember her not bringing the keys. Aside from that, she doesn't knock that loudly and would call out to us.
 
 
Another series of knocks came again, "Open the door! I know you're inside!"
 
 
That was definitely not Diana's voice. Lilith was confused and she stood up from her seat. It could be possible that it's the neighbor but as far as she can recall, their neighbors aren't that aggressive or brave enough to knock and call out like that.
 
 
"Just a moment, Alexandra. I'll check out and see who that person is, stay here as I do so," Lilith said and Alexandra only nodded. She was also confused and curious who that person is so she went to the couch, kneeled and peeked out of the headrest, watching Lilith as she walked towards the door and opened it. She couldn't see who that person was because Lilith was blocking the view but she could hear what they were talking about thanks to the unknown lady's loud voice.
 
 
"Let me in! Where is she? Where is that damn cursed child?!"
 
 
 
"Please calm down, Miss Celine. The child is inside but you're not allowed to come in without permission, you do know that, right? Miss Diana would be angry."
 
 
"I don't care! Just let me in! I want to see her and drag her out of this place, she doesn't deserve to be here!" Then Lilith was pushed aside by the woman, causing her to hit her back against the wall and fall to the floor along with some things like the shoe rack that she bumped into thus scattering the shoes that were there.
 
 
The lady walked and roamed her eyes around the place as if she was looking for something.
 
 
Alexandra saw the unknown lady and she looked familiar. Not until she realized who it was and the realization struck upon her like a bolt of lightning.
 
 
"There you are, you damn child!"
 
 
She recalled seeing her at the funeral of her mother though it was only once as this woman only went there once to look for Diana.
 
 
"Miss Celine!"
 
 
She was Diana's aunt.
 
 
 

When Alexandra opened her eyes, she suddenly became a princess?!


She was hit by a truck and born once again as a baby, aside from that, she can remember her previous life.


But she wasn't like the other princess who gets to be with their family. She was a princess yet to be announced and being observed. She was born in a supposedly all-males only bloodline and they think she was a curse or bad luck. Her brothers and father hated her.


Out of all things in her life, she never expected this to happen.

Six years later…

“Your child is tormenting poor Sophie,” Sylvia complained, “Haven’t you taught her any rules of proper behaviour?”

“These things take time to learn,” Emily said, looking over at her five-year-old daughter, Amanda Danzi Pomeroy, usually called Mandy for short, lavishing too much attention on the cat. Clearly, the animal wanted to be left alone as it started clawing and biting at the girl’s hand. 

“She’s biting me!” Mandy said, very amused.

“Mandy dear, that means she doesn’t want you to pet her anymore,” Emily said.

“But I like petting the kitty!” Mandy pouted. Like most kids, she could be selfish, but Emily was pretty sure it was a phase that would pass.

Thankfully, the kid had a curious mind and could easily be distracted. When visiting Sylvia, Emily always came prepared because having her child run rampant was definitely frowned upon here.

“Mandy, what’s this?” Emily said in an excited voice.

“Coloring book!” the girl exclaimed gleefully and ran over to examine it. “Do you have markers?” she asked in a serious tone.

“I will get you some,” Sylvia declared.

Mandy settled down to do some extensive coloring. 

“I suppose it’ll be a relief for you when she goes to kindergarten in the fall,” Sylvia said casually.

“Actually, she’s not going to kindergarten,” Emily replied.

“Oh, good. That means she’ll be going to a private boarding school.”

“Uh… not really,” Emily said. It was not going to be easy to break the news, but it had to be done sooner or later. “I’ve decided to unschool her.”

“Unschool?!” Sylvia’s eyes popped wide open. “Is this some kind of new hipster thing?”

“Actually, the idea of unschooling has been around for a while.”

“Why on earth would you want to do something like that?”

“Because schools are based on an outdated system,” Emily said. “I’ve thought about this a lot, and I remembered how bored I had always been in school. It’s not natural for kids to sit inside a classroom for that long. I want Mandy to experience real life, get her outdoors, take her to work with me once in a while. There are so many more things to learn than the five basic school subjects.”

“Like tormenting cats?” Sylvia remarked with her usual sharp tongue.

“That’s the whole point, she’ll learn how to handle cats properly. Maybe you could teach her.”

Emily knew that deep down Sylvia adored her granddaughter, but the older woman could only handle short periods of time with her before the kid tried her patience.

It had been quite bad in Mandy’s toddler years. She really had been a little savage. But now that the child was becoming more of a real person, growing and learning so quickly, Emily hoped that Sylvia and Mandy would find some common ground.

“Let me get this straight, you want me to participate in this New Age nonsense?” Sylvia queried.

“You said Mandy needed to learn rules of behaviour,” Emily replied, “So I have every confidence that you could teach her Etiquette 101: how to be polite with humans and cats.” 

“Amanda certainly could use a few lessons on etiquette,” Sylvia muttered.

“Good, then it’s settled. Maybe you could teach her to play the piano too? And anything else you want to teach her, really. As long as it’s something she enjoys.”

“I’ve heard of coddling your child, but don’t you think this is taking it too far?”

“No,” Emily said decisively, “this is actually going to encourage her to learn using her natural sense of curiosity. Most kids start out with genius potential, but it’s dumbed down when they’re put in a one-size-fits-all classroom.”

The sound of a car door closing outside made Mandy look up from her coloring book. “Daddy?” she said, looking alert.

A few moments later, Byron entered, having been delayed by a work meeting. 

“Daddy!” the girl cried, rushing towards him.

He lifted her high in the air and spun her around. “Hello, Mandykins!”

Emily had never thought it would be so thrilling to have a child. Every time she saw Byron being fatherly and attentive, her heart melted like ice cream in the summer sun. She had never been that excited about kids, but now she never grew tired of feeling ridiculously in love with her family.

“You’re going to make her dizzy,” Sylvia chimed in.

“I like to be dizzy,” Mandy said, shrieking as she was spun around even more.

Byron came over to Emily to give her a kiss and greeted his mother with a kiss on the cheek, even though she looked more morose than usual.

“What do you think about this ‘unschooling’?” Sylvia asked.

“I trust that Emily knows what she’s doing,” he said.

“Don’t you have your own opinion?” Sylvia asked.

“Meh…” he shrugged. “As long as the kid is happy.”

“Personally, I don’t mind teaching her,” Sylvia said, “but you have to be careful of what the media might say about this. It might be considered elitist, disregarding the public school system.”

“Sylvia, it’ll be fine,” Emily declared.

After she left Sylvia’s place, however, she was a little concerned, thinking about whether the media would try to denounce her like they had done in the past. Her experience with Christine taught her that if a journalist was vicious enough, they could pick on anything they considered a failing and paint it in the most hideous colors.


Emily Danzi has been stalked by a deranged man for most of her adult life. She thought she had left him behind when she moved to the west coast of Canada, but one rainy night, he catches up with her. Emily finds a temporary solution by having a complete stranger pose as her boyfriend.

As she sat at the table across from him, Emily could not deny it. It was good that the table separated them because she was tempted to reach out and stroke the beautiful outlines of his face. She wondered what it would feel like to kiss him. Suddenly she realized Byron was saying something, while she was completely distracted by his god-like appearance.

“...so, maybe you would like to make any suggestions?” he asked.

“Suggestions?” she echoed.

“About our new arrangement.”

“All right.” He smiled as if he knew she had been admiring his looks. “Let’s start with public displays of affection. How far are we willing to go?”

“Um...” Emily had not considered this.

He took her hand and stroked it with his thumb, a light and teasing touch.

“Would this be okay?” he asked. 

Emily nodded, wondering how she was going to be able to stand this without surrendering to his charm.

“What about hugging?” he went on.

“Hugging...” Emily cleared her throat nervously. 

“We need to proved something for the journalists to talk about,” he said, though Emily suspected it was not the only reason he wanted to get closer to her.

“Hugging would be fine.”

“I guess kissing would be out of the question?” His eye glinted mysteriously as his lips bent in a wicked smile.

“I... haven’t thought about it,” Emily said. “Kissing on the cheek might be allowed.”

“No kissing on the lips then?” he asked. His whole look seemed to say, “try it, you might like it.”

A tall blond man in 30s walked up to a girl in a blue shirt and beige shorts who was coloring her book in the lawn and tapped on her shoulder.
 
"Hey sweetie."
 
The girl looked up and smiled at the blond man.
 
"Hi, Uncle Logan." she said while smiling wide.
 
"Mind if I ask you, have you seen John anywhere?" Mr Logan smiled at her while waiting for her answer.
 
"John? I thought he went inside the house." she pointed at the entrance of the door which was their house.
 
"He did? I thought he was with you. Anyway, I will go and look for him then." he rubbed her head and was about to walk into the house when the little girl called for him.
 
"Why are you looking for him?" she asked him curiously while her right hand played over the red colored pencil.
 
"I have an errand for him, sweetheart. Tell him that I'm looking for him. Will you?" he winked at her.
 
"What's in it for me?" she asked back while tilting her head to the side.

"What do you need?" he asked.

"Something sweet, yummy and delicious." she smirked at him.
 
"I'll buy you your favorite flavor in Baskin-Robbins." he said as his right fingers rubbed his chin.
 
"Deal." she said and she continued back doing her coloring.
 
Time passed by as she finished coloring a picture. Flipping through a few pages, she kept wondering if she could finish up the rest of the pages. As she sat, her mind went blank and nothing came into her head. Not long later, a boy was seen sneaking at a nearby bush and was observing the girl at the lawn. His lips turned into a small smile while his eyes followed her every movement. Slowly sneaking out from the bushes, he slowly creeped behind the small girl and waited for the right timing. After a short moment waiting, he took out a horn and slowly placed near to her ear but trying to avoid from her noticing he's there.
 
Holding on his breath, he counted till three and pressed the horn as long as he could. Due to the sudden loud horn, the girl was taken by surprise when the side she was coloring in the book became a line. She held closed her ears and stood up looking in shock at who might be doing something crazy like this. She turned to the person who does it and looked at him in disbelieve. Her ears still was blocked by the deafening sound but she could not believe what had happened a moment ago. Once her ears slowly calmed down a little, she looked straight at him.
 
"YOU!" she shouted as she pointed her finger at him while her left hand was covering her left ear as it was still ringing loud inside. Though the horn has stopped, the sound was still there.
 
"This is a payback for telling dad on me." he showed his tongue out and started to laugh at her.

"Do you think this is funny?" she was almost in tears because it was painful but then she held in.

"When I look at you, it is funny." she laughed.
 
"My ears. I can't hear properly." her ears was still ringing as she slowly rubbed the hole.
 
"Serve you right." and laughed again at her.
 
He laughed till he fell on his ass but that didn't stop him from laughing. She could not take it any longer at his mischief, she stood up and looked at him in anger. Her both hand wrapped into a fist as she stared him down.
 
"You rascal!" she screamed and dashed towards him.
 
Realizing the girl was running fast towards him, he quickly stood up and ran away but at one point he tripped and fell. This was an advantage to the girl to catch over him. Unable to hold her anger, she started to pull his hair leading him to scream in pain. Pulling him closer to her, she waved her right hand and punched him at his face. Though blood was not see, the punch was still a hard one.

Both their parents who were sitting in the living room, while having a chat was taken back with the scream and ran out to see what was going on. Reaching the lawn, they stood stunned. The mothers wanted to stop the fight but the fathers signed them not to interrupt as they felt it was amusing.
 
"Honey, we need to stop them." said the girl's mother to her husband.
 
"Lets see how strong is she in fighting." he said.
 
"She is strong. Your daughter definitely will be a fighter." said Mr Logan.
 
"Enough. I give up. I am sorry." the boy begged her while holding on to her hand, trying to prevent her from pulling harder. Still, she was not satisfied in what he was telling her.
 
"You're a liar!" she screamed.
 
Knowing there's no escape, he quickly pushed her down and stood up. He moved away a little and kept apologizing to her. Still, it was obvious she isn't going to let it go.

"I'm sorry. Really, I'm very sorry about what I did to you." he repeatedly said to her.
 
"I don't trust your sorry. You always do this to me." she stood up.
 
With anger, she wanted to hit him again but her eyes caught on to a hose which was just at the side of the lawn. Without wasting a moment, she ran over to the hose. Opened the tap and started to sprinkle at the boy. It took a few seconds for him to realize he was soaking wet. Quickly, he ran to his parents which left them speechless. Looking strongly at where the hose was moving, he quickly starts to run away from them because the water was directing towards his direction.
 
The girl's father, Mr Henry knew this was going to be a mess, tried to get close to his daughter but she sprinkled on him knowing she will be caught. As the boy slowly tried to sneak behind her, he quickly grabbed onto her hip, making her to leave the hose while trying to free her from the grip.
 
"Let me go!"
 
"I said I'm sorry. You made us all wet." the boy tried to talk to her.
 
She stopped moving and looked around her to realize everyone was wet. She turned to him and stared at him. He stopped moving a moment and wondered what was she thinking before he felt himself being pushed to the ground.
 
"You lost!" she said as she never let go of her sight away from him.
 
Both of them stared at each other and started to laugh. Whereas for both parents who were taken by surprise of the splash, looked at the kids and started to laugh by themselves. Mr Henry chuckled a little and went to both of them. With both hands on his hip, he gave them the angry glare.
 
"What were you both thinking?! Both of you stand up and apologize to each other."
 
"But Uncle Henry, she started it first. She started to hit me." the boy tried to defend himself.
 
"He started it first, dad. He blew the horn right at my ears. It's painful." as she tried to explain her situation.
 
"Enough! Both of you. John, Casey. Apologize to everyone. Now." he said sternly to both of them.
 
They looked at each other but no words came out.
 
"Just because both of you are kids, that does not mean I can let you off this easily." Mr Henry said that once again.
 
Both of them looked at everyone and sighed.
 
"We're sorry." they said as their eyes shifted from their parents to  the ground.
 
"That's much more better. Now, both of you off to bath and get change. You are grounded for a week for this." they looked at Mr Henry in a surprise 

"No way?!" they shrieked together but Mr Henry gave then a stern look.

"My answer is final." he said and both of them didn't say another word.
 
They knew Mr Henry meant what he said. They slowly walked back into the house with their heads dropped down. Their mothers followed them to help them get change. Mr Logan went over to Mr Henry and tapped on his shoulder.
 
"You don't have to be stern with them. They're just 8. Weren't we like that when we were kids?" he said.
 
"It's just to make them realize that they will not escape from what they are doing." said Mr Henry
 
"We were worst than this, you know." said Mr Logan as both of them looked at each other.

"Well, the moment we become a parent, things have changed a lot more than we expect." said Mr Henry with a smile.
 
Few seconds passed by, they start to laugh out themselves over the memories they had as children. They sat over at the porch waiting for the rest to take bath and they went in for their.

Once the decision was made to leave quickly, it didn't take long, for them to gather everything up. Thanks to the system, he was able to absorb their entire farm. Marvin, Bart, and the other farmhands all agreed to come with them.

With their consent, he was able to absorb the entire surrounding area as well. Now that it was tucked away inside the space, it would remove any evidence, while allowing his parents and everyone to come along.

Popping up around the already existing farm inside his spatial world, they were quickly greeted by the citizens. His parents wouldn't be bored, they were recognized by the system, which gave them a lot of permissions.

His father saw men fishing, off to the side of a small stream. Kissing his wife, he grabbed some of his fishing equipment, eager to join them. Laughing playfully, she handed him the tackle box, when he came back a minute later.

Heading over to the restaurant, she saw that the menu was missing a few things. Putting on an apron, she headed into the pantry to gather some ingredients. The legendary 'home cooking' was about to be added to the menu.

Seeing the world for the first time, the farmhands and their families were impressed. This was an amazing place, clean and free of danger. Witnessing the farm, they saw how it sprouted its own crops while absorbing others.

Everyone could see, that not only was it a much better location, but they'd also have a lot more free time to relax and enjoy themselves. Naturally, people would work to increase the space, mixing a bit of the spatial earth and water each day.

Taking steps to ensure that everyone stayed happy and healthy, Zanir introduced a new building. Titled the 'Recreation Room', it was a building that had a single large room, sectioned off into a few different spaces.

The main section was the largest, there were a few tables, where people could eat together or relax and play games. He'd produced a few basic dice and cards, using the system to print out a few books, that detailed the various games you could play.

Off to one side, there a sectioned off area, where younger children could play. It was padded to ensure they couldn't hurt themselves. It was filled with a variety of bright and colorful toys, he'd hoped they would like them.

Using the system, he'd produced some wooden blocks with letters on them. They could be stacked and arranged. There were also various toy figurines carved out, varying from knights and mages to boats and carriages.

He'd also placed a few basic coloring books, using wax the system dyed as crayons. Making sure they were safe and non-toxic, he knew these would delight the children. Before moving on, he also created a set of building blocks.

Interconnecting pieces, allowed them to build anything they wanted to. With all of these things, the kids here would be happier. That, in turn, would also make the parents happier. Moving over to the last section, he wanted to create something for the older residents.

Transforming the final section, he designed it into a comfortable mini parlor. Blocking off some of the noise, it would give them a quiet spot where they could relax. With several comfortable recliner style chairs, they could relax in here together.

To help keep their minds sharp, he put in several things, like chess and checkers. There were also several kinds of crossword puzzles, word searches, and numbers games like Sudoku. Stepping back, he inspected his work.

Satisfied, he looked around and saw that it had something for all ages and groups. Hopefully, this would become, a place where the community could gather, to both have fun and relax. The last thing he wanted, was for anyone to feel stifled or trapped in the spatial world.

With the introduction and overview complete, he cut the big red ribbon in front of the building. Everyone cheered and clapped, people only had the simplest games and toys here, not even the largest cities had a dedicated rec room.

It didn't take long for everyone to shuffle in, exploring the area. The kids were the fastest, they all ran in, screaming with delight when they saw so many toys. Seeing the various kids playing together, the parents were moved.

Children were inherently innocent for the most part; they didn't discriminate against people. The farmhand's children had no issue playing with the kids who were formerly homeless. Kids just see another kid, there wasn't a distinction in social class.

Now that the children had started playing, their parents sat together in the middle section, watching over them. Introducing themselves, they quickly made friends, learning how to play card and dice games. Talking about their respective kids, the parents found out they had a lot in common.

With noisy kids playing, the older crowd moved into the mini parlor area. Seeing the comfy recliners and chairs, they helped each other get settled in. Soon they were chatting happily about 'the good old days'.

Bringing out the puzzles and games, they were also having a great time, seeing such strange new ideas and concepts. Looking at everyone, having fun and enjoying the building, his friends and family were very proud.

This would go a long way to improving everyone's morale, which was a key aspect of the spatial world. It would also kill two birds with one stone, both being the right thing to do, while also gaining him more points, from even happier citizens.

Now that he'd taken his family, friends, and even his home with him, it was time to go. He wanted to stop by Trostin, completing his deals quickly there, before setting off for the first mission. With nothing holding him back, any longer, he was now free to travel the world at large.

"Wait, if you can make coloring books, doesn't that mean you can make comic books?"

"Haha, just make a list of what you want Dante. I'll see how much they cost from my system."

Taking a few guards out of the system, he repaired the land, so it wasn't completely barren, while Dante got the carriage ready. Once they finished up, they headed down the road towards Trostin.
