And boy, have there been a lot of these told for both classic and modern heroes. 

The comic book medium has been going strong for more 75 years, and over those decades hundreds, if not thousands, of superheroes have been introduced. Typically these origin stories have been seen across a variety of media by both passionate comic book fans and people who are just looking for a good tale. And just because a hero is successful doesn't mean that they got off to the best start with their origin stories, but when these tales are told right, they're the stuff of legend. Here are some of the most famous superheroes of all time ranked by how great and epic their origin stories are.

1. The X-Men

Of course, each individual X-Men has their own unique stories, but together the team's origin tale is a classic. As mutants, they were all born with their abilities rather than imbued with them by science, magic or aliens. Consequently, many of these people face mistrust and bigotry from the general population who view them as freaks of nature. However, despite their persecution, they still use their powers to protect the innocent. Brought together by Charles Xavier, the X-Men not only combat threats ranging from fanatical humans to fellow mutants, but their overall mission is to fight for the rights of their fellow mutants and usher in a world of acceptance and peace. So even though their overall story is based in a superhero world, it's memorable because their goals are similar to what many of us want to achieve in real life.

2. The Flash (Barry Allen)

In the 1950s, DC Comics decided to relaunch several of their most successful superheroes from the 1940s as new individuals. The Flash was the first to receive this treatment, being reintroduced in 1956 as forensic scientist Barry Allen. While working late in his lab one night, he was struck by lightning, which subsequently knocked him into shelf full of chemicals. After waking up, he discovered he could run at superhuman speeds, and donning the red and yellow costume that's become much more recognizable than his predecessor's, Barry became the new Flash and built a quite a supporting cast. Visually it's one of the best origins on this list, but it also has a distinct sci-fi feel to it that few DC hero origins had before it. Many non-comic book fans saw this origin told for the first time back in October on the CW series The Flash.

3. Green Lantern (Hal Jordan)

Green Lantern was the second DC hero to be revitalized during the Silver Age of comic books. This time around, test pilot Hal Jordan inherited a special ring after it was bequeathed to him by a dying alien named Abin Sur who had crash-landed on Earth. Unlike the magical ring that the Golden Age Green Lantern wore, Hal Jordan's ring was a product of science that allowed him to use his willpower to fly and make solid constructs with his mind. Inheriting Abin Sur's legacy, Hal became the new Green Lantern of Sector 2814, and the first human to ever join the Green Lantern Corps. Like The Flash, it's memorable for its sci-fi feel, but also to due to how this Green Lantern inherited his heroic legacy from a mysterious visitor (which would later be repeated with Kyle Rayner) whereas his predecessor Alan Scott just sort of stumbled upon his power.

Seen On Screen: In the flawed, but right now only, Green Lantern origin movie with Ryan Reynolds, which hit theaters in 2011.

4. Iron Man

Although the location for Iron Man's origin has changed several times throughout the decades, the story itself has not. While demonstrating some of his creations abroad, Tony Stark was injured and taken captive by enemy soldiers. While in captivity, he was forced to build weapons for these terrorists, but with the help of scientist Ho Yinsen, he built a mechanical suit that allowed him to defeat his captors and escape to freedom. With a renewed perspective on life, Tony uses his new armor to protect the innocent as Iron Man. Not only is it one of best redemption origin stories and full of action as Tony escaped his imprisonment, it also showed that not everyone who becomes a superhero starts out as a moral individual. Sometimes takes a nudge (or in Tony's case nearly dying from shrapnel in your heart) to discover your true potential.

Seen On Screen: Stark's destiny was brought to life by Jon Favreau in 2008's Iron Man, with Robert Downey Jr. in the lead.

5 Captain America

Captain America's origin story wouldn't work well as an anti-drug PSA, but it's an excellent story of trumping over the odds. Steve Rogerswanted to serve in World War II, but his scrawny body and ill health prevented him from enlisting. Fortunately for him, he was chosen as the test subject for Project Rebirth, and after being injected with the Super Soldier Serum, his body became the epitome of physical perfection. Soon after the scientist who created the serum was assassinated by a Nazi spy, leaving the serum's formula lost and making Steve the only one of his kind. He subsequently became Captain America to not only to help defeat the Axis forces, but to become one of the most well-known superheroes in the present-day after being frozen for decades. As mentioned earlier, it's memorable for featuring the little guy rising up to beat the odds, but it also helps that it was an important reflection of the era he was created in and even inspired good to defeat evil in real life.

He started from the first page. the first proposal was for movies and television. although the format was not professional, after all, shi cai ning's specialty was not in that area, but this idea...

Gu kuangen's eyes lit up. "i've read the novels you mentioned before. they were written by a sci-fi writer in china. however, his copyright was never sold. i think i've heard that li tingshen had approached him before, but he was not tempted by the astronomical copyright fee of five hundred million!"

Shi caining nodded. "i know that this author is not only famous, he has a temper as well. no one was able to persuade him to sell his copyright. i think he was afraid that his work would be destroyed."

"so... your project is not bad, but unfortunately, you can't buy it!" gu kuangen said regretfully.

Shi caining's proposal required him to buy the author's copyright before he could start shooting movies. in recent years, the production of sci-fi movies had cost a lot of money, but the box office sales had been very good.

As for this author, yang tian, he was a wealthy second-generation writer. he was now in his fifties, and he was one of those writers who did not lack money. of course, he was unwilling to sell his copyright.

There were also famous directors abroad who had approached him, hoping that he would sell him the rights to the three novels, "the change of heaven", "the second earth", and "the mutation". however, they still did not receive any approval.

"how would i know if i did not try? such a good novel, it would be his lifelong regret not to make it into a classic, right?" shi cai ning smiled. "let me look for him for you."

Gu kuangen's expression darkened slightly, "how can a pregnant woman like you run around?"

He flipped to the second project and saw the words that shi cai ning had written. he could not help but smile lightly and his chopsticks paused. "i was right, you did think of this as well. medicinal diet is becoming more and more popular, and only your grandmother's recipe is the best i've ever tasted. if your grandmother agrees, then we can invest in this project!"

Look, I wasn't planning on posting this but here we go. I've always found it ever so slightly troublesome that the only genres under female lead are: Urban, History, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Teen, and LGBTQ+. 
While on the other hand, the genres under male lead are: Urban, Fantasy, History, Horror, Sci-Fi, Sports, and Games. 
Why is there even a difference in the first place regarding genres for each lead? And get this, Urban female lead displays as Contemporary Romance, History female lead displays Historical Romance, Fantasy displays as Fantasy Romance, Sci-Fi turns into Sci-Fi romance, and Teen stays teen which is good and so does LGBTQ+. 
This begs the question to me of why a history genre with a female lead HAS to have romance? Why does a fantasy story with a female lead HAS to have romance? It doesn't make any sense to me as to why it's required. 
For another thing, take a look at the male lead side of things. They have extra genres like Horror, Sports, and Games. For some reason, LGBTQ+ has completely disappeared. This has made me run into issues where my story, Nights Like These, has a female lead and is a horror story. It makes no sense at all.
Anyways, I digress. Back to the main point. Urban for male lead displays as Magical Realism, Fantasy displays as Fantasy, History displays as History, Horror displays as Horror, Sci-Fi displays as Sci-Fi, Sports displays as Competitive Sports, and Games displays as Video Games. 
Uh, what? Nothing of that makes any sense to me - they don't even have anything romance-related! Why is there a huge difference between the possible genres for female leads and male leads? It doesn't make sense. 
Why can't a romance story be told from the perspective of the guy? Why does every genre girl related have to involve romance? Why can't the genres for sports, horror and games be for female leads as well? Why is LGBTQ+ only limited to female leads? 
My brain is getting fried from thinking about it all. 
As my last point, I'll be sure to create a male lead romance. Mark my words.

But he only focused on his dreams to become world most intelligent scientist Rahul had gone to Germany for his further studies where he get hi new friends but his best friend was rogers. Rahul and rogers always Rome with each other. Roger was not good In studies as compare to Rahul. One day when Rahul was going for home some of the gang members came start looting them when that members so rogers they became frightened and ran . but Rahul was confused that why they ran. He was going to ask rogers but rogers suddenly changed the topic .    
                                               in the some talks Rahul said rogers that I want take revenge from the sci-fi gang by becoming the worlds most intelligent scientist , roger was confused and asked him the reason behind the revenge from sci-fi gang, then Rahul said the reason that they of killed his father. After  15 years later Rahul became scientist and he started making a suit which can teleport him to here to there but Rahul was not getting any powerful substance and Indian government was not giving the permission to Rahul to for using the substance of mightiest named colonium. Because it was dangerous. Rahul cant finish his revenge without that material. That was the reason which made him a terrorist like maskeddemon he started making weapons and stole the all colonium material existed in India.

 After that Rahul thought that he can also make an army to defeat and remove the existence of sci-fi group from the history he conqueror the half of the Russia during world war 4 and make a shield on it. And he get advantage of the amount of land . he named his gang names Calibrica. He instantly plan to attack south Korea and japan as it was not expected for sci-fi.
        he took advantage of damage that sci-fi get during war. When the sci-fi was busy in handling the economic situation of japan and south Korea.
Calibrica attacked on the japan and south Korea. They successfully took japan but when the south korea was under attacked , north Korea attacked and defended the south Korea . by this attacked of north Korea they lead to heavy loss of army . but the weapons were now , in the hands of Korean country. And from that weapons they attacked on India. Because of the shield Korean's soldier was turned into ashes.

Just as there is 'Soft Magic' in Fantasy that is portrayed through magibabble, there can be 'Soft Science' in a Sci-Fi stories through technobabble that makes 'some sense', but not entirely correct.

We are frickin' writers, not scientists. You don't have to be anatomically correct all the time, all you need to do is show that you know enough of your stuff to write a decent story. In fact, the excuse of it being an alternate world can be used if you're going to bend the limits of physics and say that fire doesn't need air to exist in this parallel dimension.

I see a lot of writers being put into a state of confusion due to not understanding the line between fantasy and Sci-Fi. They seem like they are trying to fit the Star Trek mould too often.

Science can just as well do the same things as plot devices in fantasy stories. Once you add 'realism' to a fantasy, it becomes progressively better sometimes compared to a completely fantasied story where 'logic' doesn't hold within it.

Those who write Sci-Fi usually envision a future they can imagine where magic-like Rocket Boots and other stuff exist. However, a writer must not get bogged down by small details and MUST think of an overarching story where these details matter.

It is the same with Fantasy. Even if you write about someone breaking the mould as a wizard or something, you have to attach your world to a narrative rather than doing it the other way 'round.

No one wants to hear about how awesome your boat propellers are before hearing your story's narrative. They would rather you cut down and make it relevant when it is actually relevant.

Adding some 'Hard Science' to your story is only when the scenes later on have any use for them. It bores a person to death no matter how extensive your technobabble is unless you make it interesting. Try using facts as plot elements.

For example: Even the simple fact that people cannot breath in space and instantly die when they come in contact with the 'void' of space could be used to add a layer of tension when a spaceship is damaged. Similar to how dangerous 'hard magic' is used in Epic Fantasy like Frodo's Ring in The Lord of the Rings has definitive corruption on others.

Unlike Fantasy that can use the Power of Friendship to bend logic, the readers of Sci-Fi never be expecting any 'realistic' plot elements to be bend just because the Author wants a happy ending. There are no 'Healing Potions' in real life that can be used to fix up injuries nor are people affected by prophesies or whatever.

This is the contrast between Sci-Fi and Fantasy that you can make full use of. As most authors go onto the Sci-Fi side of writing not because they strive to be scientists but since the aesthetics of a science fiction world are just so interesting.

Science Fiction is a good place to tackle heavy topics like the nature of life and the absurdity of those who see 'science' as everything. Those who disregard emotions and become cybernetic entities for the sake of casting off their mortality are portrayed as the bad guys while our totally human protagonist fighting them is a 'good guy'.

The lines between an Artificial Intelligence and regular Humans blurs as we become the 'God' of technological species that defy our definition of what is 'living'. Just as we see God as some sort of fourth-dimensional and incomprehensible being that created us as an imperfect image of 'Him', the robots given sentience would see us similarly.

Some robots might have emotions that can allow them to defy their programming, some robots won't go as far as gaining emotional functionality but will preform their roles better than even a human. It could show the reason why people get attached to the inanimate and soulless objects we put our own hearts into creating (like Big Hero 6).

But though exploring philosophical questions is good and all, never forget that a good 'plot' is needed to put forward and give clues into the writer's answer that context. Sci-Fi is, after all, a premise, not a relatable character in of itself.

Think of the science-fiction elements as just the background for your story, similar to how other genres should be that as well. You won't have to deal writing blocks if you keep to writing only what you know rather than just speculative theories.

Whether it's as dark as a Cyber Punk or optimistic of the future, just know what mould you are using for this premise. Are you writing an Adventure story with Sci-Fi as the places, destinations, and whatever tools the MC can get him hands on, or are you writing a comedy where the Sci-Fi elements don't need consistency but absurdity?

After moving past why you shouldn't add unneeded technobabble unless it's interesting to listen to or has plot significance, let me remind you all that robots and 'science' isn't entirely separated from the realm of magic. After all, there is a reason you don't see skimpy power suits being worn by astronauts these days. Just be sure to have a focus if your going to add very illogical things to the plot.

I like Gundam as much as the next guy but the whole reason the Mecha sub-genre of Anime has waned in recent years is because writers have been focusing too much on 'science' rather than the spectacle. I don't need to now what materials your Mecha is made of unless you point its weak points and make it relevant in a fight scene.

Bring up the strengths and weaknesses of something and THEN use those facts as devices that can move the plot. Conversely, if you go overboard with this advice and tell me nothing but how your giant robot looks and the 'science' behind its creation, even going as far as to tell me how many secret guns it has, then I'll be bored...

I'd love to see Cyborgs Vs Mecha but just don't forget the human element of Sci-Fi. How we create things not solely for the sake of creation but put are feelings into it just like the novels we write.

Humans are passionate that way...

This is a story I worked on ages ago that has been refined and edited by adding foreshadowing to events while also simplifying the power system better than before. This story can be considered a prequel to An Adventure Beyond Greatness as it takes place years prior to the events of that story.

Short Synopsis:
After retiring from the battlefield, my life became empty and lifeless. The regrets of my past haunt me in my sleep. Then a change occurred, a King from another world summoned me to fight for his kingdom, but I died even before I could give him my answer. Now, after a fake God allowed me to reincarnate (albeit imperfectly) with my memories intact, into a world filled with magic and swords.

Long Synopsis:
This is about a flawed protagonist who only knew to rely on others and not socialise who gets a second chance to change himself in order to live the life he aimed for in his past life. The narrator isn’t exactly trustworthy since it is purely in his bias perspective while other perspectives given by others fill in the blanks that he either leaves out or twists to suit the situation.

The story itself can be considered a parody of Isekai’s classic tropes which are given a sense of reality as time goes by. As there exists no ‘Demon Lord’, there is also no black and white, only characters opinions and counter-opinions throughout the story.

So, They're making one by all the available resources there is.
The results is success. By producing Gate on Earth surface, They can drain energy from another dimension.
This energy is called Mana, or in another name Qi, Prana, and Chakra.
This energy is super potent, but still very gentle.
This is to say, you can absorb this energy in your body and do something supernatural easily.
But still it's potent enough to create disaster.
And that's why the side effect of Gate came from.
Monsters or Demons appeared from the Gate like every classic sci-fi or fantasy.
Gate after opening it once, will began to appear again and again. The energy it produces is of course enormous. But it isn't like only us humans can use it. Monsters and Demons can use it too.
And a job like Hunter are surfacing the Earth. By hunting monster and demons, bringing back important and crucial energy from Gate, and/or closing Gate. They can produce large income.
So all of this are the theme of this world. Gate, Humans, Monsters, Demons, Mana, Hunter.
