This is a Dungeons and Dragons story based of my Character mainly and this is a more story telling way of the campaign.
It Will start out with the his backgrounds and His rise in strength before he met up with other members of the party met up at lvl ten
Volumes one will be background, world building, character building and DM style, + a few homebrew rules.

Auron and his roommate continued to talk. After 2 hours talk, it was almost dinner time. In the dormitory, they only provide food for lunch. For breakfast and dinner they should look it for themselves. Their roommate invite him to have dinner together. Auron agreed to them. 

He had long realized that all of his roommate were NPC. So, when they asked Auron to go to have dinner with them, He directly logout from the game. Coming out from the game capsule, Auron thought, "If I want to catch up with the higher ranked player, I can't waste any time to make food and dinner. I need to buy a nutrient solution."

A person could attached a nutrient solution to their game capsule, by doing this they didn't need to logout to have take breakfast, lunch, or dinner. A solution could fulfilled a person's nutrient for 24 hours. This way, they could hunting almost 24 hours. After that, they needed to exchange the nutrient solution. Also, the more expensive the game capsule's model, the more they could hold the nutrient solution. Auron's game capsule was the most expensive game capsule and it could hold 10 nutrient solutions.

Previously, Auron also using this way to become the ranked number 1 player. He commanded his guild almost 24 hours. Only one year ago, he started to not use this method again. He believed at Cold Candle way of doing things, so he could felt relieved when he was not online. But, who knows, that all of this would happen.

"I only had enough money to last for the next 2 months. With one month expenditure, I could buy 10 nutrient solutions. If, in 10 days, I can't make the same amount of money, I will go back to do things the slow way and it will hinder my progress." Auron thought

He gritted his teeth and make decision, "I am a former ranked number 1 player. Before, I could easily make money that much. If I can do it once, then I can do it many times more."

He went to check his phone, and there was a message from Roan asking why he still not contacted him yet. Auron just remembered that he had a promise with Roan. He replied that he would contact him after dinner. He also asked Roan to help him bought 10 nutrient solutions and he transferred the money to him.

After eating his dinner, Auron directly login into the game. When he regained his vision, he was in the body of Smiling Wizard in the academy's dormitory and his roommate were chattering about the dinner before. When a player logout or login, it will not affect the NPC's behavior. It was as if the NPC's memory tampered with fake memory. That was why, his roommate was talking with him as if he was eating dinner with them, when actually he was not.

Auron directly went over to his main character and told the system to just made his clone stayed in his room. The first thing he did was opened up his character's info. He saw that his experience had building up until 80%. He was short 20% from reaching level 11. Then, he went into the city and started to contact Roan.

Since he know Roan character's name, he directly message him. Not long after, Roan replied Auron's message and named a place for them to meet. After confirming the meeting place, he went to the meeting place to meet Roan.

After walking a few minutes, Auron arrived in front of a building at the most northeastern part of Miderian. A high building could be seen on his line of sight. On top of the building there was an image of a scale which was the symbol of the building. This building was trading guild's headquarter.

It was ran by the one of the princesses. Its function was to supervise all of the trading company who run their business in all of Gaia. One who want to create a new trading company should submit their application at the headquarter. Then, the headquarter would evaluated their trading company requirement. If the managed to fulfill all the requirements, then they could start doing their business in Gaia.

The trading guild also offered the trading companies some help by providing a low rate loan and if the trading company could reach certain level, they could rent some land in the business district of Miderian.

Auron could see a big fat guy in front of the building waiting patiently. Beside him, there were 3 other guy. The fat guy was Meat Ball, Roan's character. Auron quickly walked to them and over his greet. 

"Hey, bro!"

Seeing Auron coming over, Roan hugged him and said, "Hey, bro! you finally arrived."

"Ha ha ha. Finally, this day is come. Back then, you always bully me with your level. But now, I could defeat you with a blow from my mouth." Roan teasing Auron.

Auron smiled, "Just you wait, I will catch you up and let us have some duel. By the way, would you introduce me to your friend?"

"Oh yeah, This were all my friends from the first branch back then. This is Fire Wheel" Roan pointed to a huge guy who hold a note on his hand.

"This one is Red Pepper" Roan pointed to another guy who was almost as fat as him.

"And last but not least, Jedi which also is his real name" Roan pointed to the last guy who use his real name as his character's name. Except his name, what make this last guy more standing out was his appearance. He wear a glasses and has a skinny body which was very contrast to the other three guy. It look like all of his fat was absorbed and distributed by the other three.

"Nice to meet you, Sword of Life" Fire Wheel patted Auron's shoulder.

"Hey, former guild leader and former ranked number 1 swordsman, I never think I would meet you in a situation like this." Red Pepper said frankly.

"Hmm... just as I predicted, you create swordsman character. Based on what I analyzed, you have 90% chance to create another swordsman character, other 6% you would create a mage character. 3% for creating an Archer character. As the rest, the chance are so small, that it will be considered as a miracle if you choose to create the other class." Jedi crossed his arm in front of his chest while observing Auron's character.

The no. 1 player in VRMMORPG, Two Worlds, fall under the scheme of his lifelong enemy. From the top of the heaven he crashed to the bottom of the world.

Being laughed at and with huge debt in his shoulder he try to get his revenge and conquer the game so no one will looked down on him anymore.

With his best friend, can he conquer the game?

Before they went to the condo which was bought by Tabane, they went to the nearby clothing store to buy clothes for their teen form. They decided to become 13 years old when they started this game later and because of that their clothes which they brought from their original world wouldn't fit when they turned younger.
Haru looked at Charlotte, Tabane, and Sumire who were choosing their clothes at the clothing store. It had been a few hours since they had been in this store, he had to admit that no matter whether genius or not, all of the women from various worlds loved to shop. He had chosen his clothes and all he could do was to wait for all of them to end their shopping.
Looking at the three of them, he had to admit that woman's stamina during shopping was stronger than a man's. Even though they hadn't eaten, they were full of energy. He didn't complain and waited patiently since it was a man's job to wait for a woman when they were shopping.
In the end, it took them four hours before they decided to go condo to stay in their new house.
"You sure are patient," Sumire said.
"I've gotten used to it," Haru said simply. Inwardly, he sighed in relief since the shopping spree was over.
The three women chuckled hearing his reply.
Looking at the condo, Haru knew that this place was familiar, rather this condo building was the building where the main character of this world lived.
"Hehehe, praise me!"
Tabane looked at Haru and knew what this guy was thinking. She knew that the main character of this world was harmless and she had decided to buy a condo in the same building as the main character.
Why did she buy the condo in the same location as the main character? There were two reasons.
The first reason was to see the timeline where they were teleported. They wanted to see whether the main character had entered the game or not. They needed to defeat "Chrome Disaster" and it might be a bit too late if the main character had entered the game since with their level it would be too low to enter "Unlimited Neutral Field" where "Chrome Disaster" was located.
The Unlimited Neutral Field is an environment a Burst Linker can enter by using the "Unlimited Burst" command. In order to enter the field, the Burst Linker must be at least level 4, and executing the command costs ten Burst Points. It is also a zone encompassing the entire Accelerated World, but unlike the normal duel environment, it has no requirements on what to do when there. Burst Linkers are free to fight others, or NPCs are known as Enemies, as they so desire.
Like the normal duel environment, the entirety of the world is based on the real world as it is seen through the Social Camera Network, "skinned" with a semi-random Stage.
The stage change process is known as Transition. During Transition, the environment is completely reset, and any Enemies that were destroyed are reborn.
All across the world, there are places known as Leave Points, or Portals, that allow a Burst Linker to exit from the Unlimited Neutral Field. There is no other way to leave, besides physically removing a cable from a proxy server connected to the Global Net. These Portals are indestructible objects, and cannot be moved at all.
While in the Unlimited Neutral Field, Burst Linkers will feel the full amount of pain from their actions, rather than only half of it like they do in normal Duels.
It was necessary for them to enter that place since to complete their quest, they needed to enter that place.
That was why they needed to level as soon as possible and if the main character had joined the game, then it might be too late to raise their level.
The second reason was to know the main character and his group. Even though it wasn't necessary, the problem had always been attracted to the main character. They could use that phenomenon to solve their quest easier with the main character near them.
Haru also thought to help the main character to slim down his body. Some people might not be confident to help the main character, but he was confident to help the main character become slimmer and more confident. He sighed when he remembered the communication of the main character with the heroine and thought to help him.
The four of them walked together and they had arrived in their new house. They walked toward the receptionist to get the key from the staff of the building and confirmed that they were the owner of the new place.
The process was quite quick and they went to the lift to go to their condo, but when they were about to close the lift they heard a voice.
"Please wait!"
The four of them looked at a small and fat boy who was running toward the lift.
Haru stopped the lift from closing and let the small boy enter the lift.
"T, thank you very much...." the boy said while catching his breath after running. He wasn't good at sports and it tired him to run so quickly toward the lift.
"No problem," Haru said with a smile.
The boy was a bit mesmerized when he saw Haru thinking that this guy was very handsome. He also didn't remember that he had seen this person living in this building before, but at the same time, he shouldn't let him meet his mother since he felt a threat from him.
"Are you living here?" Haru asked.
"A, ah, yes!!" The boy was startled when he was asked but answered unconsciously.
Haru looked at the boy who was wearing a uniform and thought that this boy had just gone back from the school. He looked at Tabane, Sumire, and Charlotte while thinking about a reasonable alibi to live in this place.
The three of them also gave him a small nod.
Haru didn't have a reservation and said with a smile. "Oh, that's good. My children are also going to live in this place."
"Eh?!" 3x
Tabane, Sumire, and Charlotte were startled when they heard it, but they quickly calmed themselves while curiously watching him since they were curious what this guy wanted to say to the main character of this world.
That's right!
They had met with the main character of this world who was known as "Arata Haruyuki".
"C - Children?!" The boy seemed surprised since Haru seemed quite young.
"Even though I seem young. I'm in my late 30s," Haru said with a kind smile.
"EHHHH!!!"
The boy was surprised and couldn't believe it since Haru seemed quite young, but when he thought about the current health technology then he thought it might be possible.
"Yes, the three of them are my wives," Haru said while introducing Tabane, Sumire, and Charlotte.
"....."
"T, three wives....?!" The boy seemed to be in shock. "T, that isn't possible!"
Sumire, Charlotte, and Tabane blinked their eyes while looking at this brazen man who dared to lie to a little kid that they were his wives.
"Well, we're not formally married, so you can say our relationship is similar to a lover," Haru said a smile.
"..."
The boy opened his mouth wide in surprise and felt that the reality was being turned 180 degrees. He didn't expect to see someone who was able to open a harem in real society. He thought that harem was only happening in the manga, but it seemed that he was too naive and young since it happened in front of him.
"Our children are going to be transferred to a nearby middle school and will be living in this condo so please be their friend and take care of them," Haru said.
"Ah, y, yes! P, please take care of me too," the boy said politely and nodded. He wasn't sure, but he felt very comfortable when he talked with Haru. Usually, a lot of people would look down on him, but Haru was different. He could see that Haru was looking at him the same way as a normal human. It might seem like something insignificant, but most people who met him would look at him in mockery, ridicule, scorn, etc so he had a good impression of Haru.
"Right, what's your name?" Haru asked.
"A, Arata Haruyuki!" Haruyuki quickly said.
Haru smiled and said, "Oh, our name is a bit the same. My name is Kasugano Haruka. See you later, boy." He patted Haruyuki's head and went out from the lift together with Tabane, Charlotte, and Sumire who was also saying goodbye to Haruyuki.

Haruyuki was stunned, still looking at the four of them before the lift was closed. He woke up and suddenly realized that he was too late to come out from the lift.
"A, ah, wait! I'm going out on this floor too!"

Haru could feel that Tabane, Charlotte, and Sumire were staring at him quietly. He sighed and said, "It's a reasonable lie, right?"

The three of them looked at Haru and realized how shameless this guy was, but at the same time, they also realized the reason why this guy was able to have a lot of women beside him.
Because this guy was so shameless!

Maybe I'll be full of energy to write your favorite fanfic.

The concept is that the main character actually gets the "Plants vs. Zombies" system and they can grow those plants during the apocalypse. There is a big difference though and that is the fact that plants that give sun or its equivalent are able to create new strains that are different from the games, like an evolution chamber for the Zerg in Starcraft. The main character can create something that can give him powers, but it isn't something amazing to him because of his plants power. He decides that pulling an Iron Man is better (creates a suit out of plants that give him nigh invulnerability once he reaches the galactic stage).
The concept is really similar to "PVZ system by the multiverse" by patinhoDEUSVULT. The difference is that instead of different dimensions they are in a universe that is space faring and they slowly become a part of it by building up their forces on their apocalyptic world.
The setting can be Star Wars, Starcraft, Warhammer 40K, etc. They just need to have multiple factions that the main character can choose to become a part of once they have built up to space travel.
The arcs should follow roughly in this sequence. The revelation of power (the gaining of the system) -> the building of forces from a house/front yard level to the city level -> the revelation that everyone is a zombie after they unlock the ability to create new strains of plants ->the building of forces to a country or continent level -> the desire for space travel to hopefully come in contact with other sentient beings although they have created certain sentient plants ->the planet is now fully in the control of plants and the main character is starting to work towards space travel -> the crashing of a spaceship on the planet which further motivates the main character and gives him access to their version of faster than light travel to base his off of and a star map (This can also be the introduction of a new sentient race or they can all be dead from the crash) -> the first new planet with sentient life (preferably a major plot planet like Tatooine) where they can finally establish where they are and what universe this is -> the introduction of main characters or a major plot point that let the main character pick a "side" for the inevitable conflict that this universe will face -> this leads to 4 options 1) find a way to send information back to the home world and make it a factory world for war 2) they follow the main characters to a higher government to offer services as a peacekeeping force, mercenary, etc. or to just let them know that a new power has appeared on the scene 3) they decide that being ready is especially important so they find uninhabitable worlds and make them factory worlds/relay worlds (This can also be added to option 1 or they need to do this as a way to relay commands) 4) they make their home world able to move and make it a mobile battle station for them, they can also bring in asteroids to expand the mass of the planet and workable space (each option is geared towards them being part of the plot because they want to see what it becomes with their butterfly effect on the plot) -> the plot starts and there are now changes due to the main character, but not major ones because of them being too unique and not deemed a threat for using plants as their forces -> governments call upon the main character as support or he is forced into the war and to pick a side if he already hasn't done so -> the plot continues, the main character is now part of the war and it is starting to conclude (major space fight scenes and if needed, a timeskip to the end of the conflict) -> they finally find their love interest after all of this time of being part of the government/organization that they are a part of, pushing him to settle back on the home world because it is nigh invincible at this point and safe for his children -> children start to be born from the main character, but none with his full powers of the system just off shoots or druid like abilities, he trains them until he deems them worthy and safe to travel -> the main character starts to get significantly older because he doesn't wish to be immortal, his spawn start to spread across the galaxy and his youngest gains the full might of the system -> a training montage of his youngest (protege/heir/successor) leads to all of the kids coming back home to his eventual death leaving a new arc for the youngest.

This is a collection of ideas for other aspiring writers, to make something new and unique. I don't personally have any writing ability, but maybe these brainstorms may help someone else create something amazing.

Hi guys! 

If you haven't noticed, for the past 2-3 days I've been editing the previous chapters. A few days ago after posting the first update, I began planning out the novel again, and this time I made sure to exactly plan out what type of characters and world-building I wanted.

I created a whole bunch of docs for character analysis and world-building, and I think I finally know what type of characters I want to create. 

The biggest problem I had with the characters of my story was the male lead. I felt like I made him to much of cliche male lead. He was too quick in his affection for the main character in chapter 6, and he didn't really have much of a personality either. So I went back and I fixed up his character. I hope to make him a more fleshed-out character and someone that differs from other male leads.

Somehow after dying an unfortunate death, she transmigrated into the body of a villainess. 

Stupidly in love with the male lead, she ignored the one who truly loved her. In the end, she schemed against the female lead, only to die a gruesome death.

Yet, just when she thought she should have had the upper hand due to her future knowledge, she finds out that the characters are much different than what they seem.

About This Story: I wanted to make a more realistic transmigrated female lead novel since all the ones I’ve read are filled with one cliche after another. When I say realistic I mean 100% I will try to be as realistic as possible. There will be no “MC is overpowered and good at everything”. The MC will act in a way that I interpret someone in her situation would also act, and one thing for sure she will not be using the ML as a shield in any way.

Authors Note: I kinda lost the motivation to continue this story, Might come back to it, when I receive some more inspiration.

April 10 

I lean against my tent and click the link from the email they sent me. I press the submit button and sent my entry that reached the word count, I looked up to the sky and close the hologram keyboard. 
The subtle sound of keyboard tapping filled the mini room, a sudden notification appeared on the hologram screen. 
  
 "Hmmm, Breaking Point: God's messenger?" a man around his mid-twenties said as he pressed on a newly submitted entry. 
 
"I'm sure that we announced that the theme is Starting Point," he said to himself. His eyes move left to right as he read the prologue, his eyes widened of the prologue. 

He started to scroll and read more, intrigued. A smile tugs on his lips, impressed by the entry. He closed the hologram screen and head out from his office. 

The sound of the chatters is heard as the man came inside the room. A room filled with The Scripturient's League logo pattern on the wall. 

"Oh, Brayden. You're late" a woman around her early 20's said as she scrolled on her hologram tablet and float it in the air, looking at Brayden. 

"Sorry about that" Brayden said as he sits. 

"Alright! Since we are all here, tell me entries that are worthy to be qualified " A brown loose-wavy haired woman, Karyle Ashmore said. The Chief Editor of The Scripturient's League. 

"Let's start with you, Jason" Karyle offered, Jason opens his hologram table. 

"I found these three entries, they're intriguing. The world-building is great too" and started to swipe the pages and sent them to Karyle. 

 "Grammar is great" Jason added. 

"Who are the authors?" Karyle asked as she look at the entries from what Jason send.

"CodeZero-0, _WordsWrecker and Jin Tufo" Jason replied as he leaned on his chair. 

"On CodeZero-0 entry entitled, Battle of Belief: Epic's Adventure. The main character went on an adventure for its starting point. The world-building is great." and Karyle swipe on the second entry.

"The Must Defeat Evil within Us from _WordsWrecker is quite intriguing. It's a horror entry, It's like a starting point of the main character after he knew he is the villain after all the quest." 

Karyle nodded and swipe on the page, "Rise of the Sovereign Lord?" 

Jason nodded, "Yeah, the main character is your typical weak to strong character but the world-building is great" 

"How about you, Khloe?" Karyle asked. 

A blonde women around her 20s named Khloe swipe up her tablet, sending the three entries to Karyle. The three entries flew towards Karyle's tablet. 

"Buttoniswriting, midsunnyshine and Alevtina_Sasori" 

"The entry entitled Author, I'm trapped from Buttoniswriting is quite intriguing. The main character played all the heroine her favorite author has written, it's also fun" 
Karyle nodded as she swipes to see the other 2 entries. 

"The entry of The Legend of Breakfire from misunnyshine is an interesting entry for a fantasy romance. As you can read the prologue, the main character is a girl that is forced to come out of her shell and assigned to kill the Death Six so that they won't destroy her father's gaming company forever. It's interesting to read for the reason that the mc is "scientific minded". 

Karyle swiped the last entry, The Prince in Disguise entry from Alevtina_Sasori is my favorite. The female lead is a crossplayer. The female lead cosplayed Bakasta from Demon Sword anime and met the male lead that cosplayed as the captain of the squad. They personally met on the convention and became a couple after few chapters and the female lead didn't know that the male lead is a prince. " Khloe narrated. 

"The author's writing style hooked me and add the characters. I've never read a story about cosplayers before and as you read the prologues, it could intrigued the readers. The author wrote, "I never knew that my cosplayer boyfriend is a prince" is like a starting point to the female lead who never had a boyfriend before and just like to cosplay as a guy for fun. The scenes the author wrote are cute too, the female lead is quite bad-ass as she first met the male lead" she added. 

Karyle nodded, "Alright. Yours, Brayden?" 

"5 entries is what interest me" Brayden said as he sent the entries to Karyle. 

"5 of them?" Karyle asked as she saw the entries Brayden sent her. 

Brayden nodded as he swipes his tablet and send it to Karyle, "The authors were TigerFist, Quan Chi, Kim Daiki, LordMattheus and Great_XiaoCheng" 

"But I'd like to focus on Great_XiaoCheng's entry" 

Karyle swiped and read the entry, "Breaking Point: God's messenger by Great_XiaoCheng?" 

Brayden nodded, "The author hooked me on the prologue. I'd also like to say that it's different from the entries that I've read. It's also unique due to the reason that the author didn't hook me on world-building instead it hooked me on the character's emotion. I thought it was a slice of life but the author twists it, it was fantasy when an angel came, offered him a contract after he almost killed himself" 

"Intriguing" Karyle said as she put intertwine her hands. "Go on" 

"The MC faced a lot of difficulties, I even admired the main character from his determination of saving his ill mother. It was a read" 

"I see, Brayden. But as we have known, Great_XiaoCheng isn't quite known." Khloe said. "And what is the starting point of the entry he sent?" 
"The starting point of the entry he sent is from the day the main character lost himself. The main character is tired from the world after he lost his parents and--" 
"Okay. Brayden, Great_XiaoCheng doesn't update regularly on his books. It's been years that he haven't updated his last book as I remember. I thought he isn't writing" Khloe added

"He is slow at updating, he also has grammatical errors on his book. His writing skill isn't quite good." Jason said, scrolling on his hologram tablet. 

"Slow updates and writing skill isn't good, I can say he isn't qualified" Jason added and looked at Brayden. 

"I agree on that, I also remember that he doesn't regularly update his books however we can't deny the fact that his works were interesting" Brayden said, "Well, to me at least" 

"But if he is qualified, he might not survive" 

"He might survived" Jason said "I'm on Great_XiaoCheng's profile and his books were not popular enough for everyone. He has different genre and type of stories but I'll not deny that his stories is great to be notice by everyone" 

"His stories were interesting enough but not a cup of tea to everyone" Brayden said with a smile, "I will not also deny that he has potential. We must qualify him" 

"Karyle, any thoughts?" Brayden asked. 

Karyle scrolled on Great_XiaoCheng's profile, a smile tugs on her lips. "It's true that Great_XiaoCheng is slow and lazy at updating his stories but as I've read the entry, I'm hooked. Attached with the main character even"

Suddenly, there was some movement in the subway car.
The subway arrived at a station. At the subway door, some people got off, and some people got on.
Xia Ling stood in the corner and was affected. She moved several times, and finally the door closed. The subway moved forward again, and everything returned to normal.
At this time, the middle-aged man who was standing to Xia Ling's left was pushed to the front.

He held the pole on one side, and his other hand was in his trouser pocket. Even if Xia Ling looked at him, he had no intention of avoiding her gaze.
When their eyes met, Xia Ling was sure that he was the number one character in the plot.
The young boy stared at her with deep, dark eyes, as if he was staring at something that could be eaten into his stomach.
Xia Ling turned her face away. She did not want to look at him anymore.
She turned around. She would rather look out the window than look at him.
The subway shook slightly, one stop after another.
The people in the car came and went. Xia Ling stood there for a long time, and the boy stood beside her for a long time.
She did not receive her memories, so she did not know which stop she was going to get off from.
As for the boy, he stood beside Xia Ling and looked at the woman who did not respond to the next stop. His doubts were gradually rising.
"please alight at the next stop and take the return subway. Alight at the cho-zhong station and rush to work at the mall. "
The plot was in a stalemate.

The woman was an employee, but somehow, she caught the attention of the main character. Were the two of them currently in the period of coincidences and ambiguous growth?
"Kill countdown, 30,29,28...-"
Half a minute.
Hai Hai: "host, hurry up and get off the train. The origin system isn't joking. "
"Okay, " Xia Ling replied.
There was still half a minute left before the subway stopped at this station.
She leisurely got off the train.
Not long after, the young boy wearing a black hoodie also got off the train.
Xia Ling entered the commercial building, and the boy also entered the commercial building.
She turned around, but he stood in place, his hands in his trouser pockets. He tilted his head to look at her, not afraid that she would know that he was following her.

In some sense, building a basic talisman was like building a rock pickaxe. 
With enough brute force, even a caveman could do it. Just stick a wood stick into a rock. How hard could it be? 
Except when it came to talismans, it's all memorization. Just memorize the 8 runic characters. No shortcuts here. Oh. Also, steady hands were needed. 
In comparison, building low-level equipments was like building a light bulb. Knowledge of science was needed. Also, more techniques and skills were involved. Such as glassblowing. 
And advanced talismans. Building these were like building smart-phones. Precision. Knowledge. Techniques. Understanding of the situation. The ability to deal with the interferences from the environment. 
Not good enough with one aspect, and the only outcome would be failure. 
Even though these artifacts were small like basic talismans, these things had way more runic characters involved.
Every runic character must be perfect. One mess up, and all the materials invested would be wasted. Also, the connections between each runic character also had to be perfect. 
45 materials. 44 characters. 1 casing material. 
Jake made one last check. Yep. His mana regeneration talisman was also there. This was not going to be a short task. Most likely a marathon. 
Pick up an Aegis stone from the materials table. Put it onto the crafting burner. A tap with his pen. 
Without any resistance, Jake drew out a stream of light-blue material from this smooth stone. 
Focussing his mind, Jake worked in this silent room.
A few people in the crowd wanted to start talking. However, considering Jake's place in the artisan guild, they chose to stay silent in the end. 
Someone else can take the lead. Not this time. Not today. 
Around ten seconds later, that runic character self-folded into a block, emitting a light-blue glow. 
With a tap of his pen, that block stayed in its place, hovering in air. 
With the help of the crafting burner, this block was not going to dissipate into nothingness anytime soon. 
Jake picked up a metallic red plate. This was refined gleaming feather. Putting this material into the burner, Jake started a new round of character writing. 
One after another, the materials on the table turned into runic characters. 
One after another, these glowing blocks connected to each other. The blocks seems rather random in the beginning. 
As time progressed, even the crowd could see a phone-sized block forming. A cuboid (rectangular prism) shape. Made up of blocks of various shapes, emitting all types of glows. 
Ten whole minutes later... 
The last runic character self-folded into a block. 
Feeling a slight nausea and dizziness, Jake panted a little. About 70% of his mana was gone already. And this was with a mana regeneration talisman by his neck. 
Without this regeneration talisman, it would be impossible to craft an advanced talisman.
Nevertheless, with a firm understanding, Jake still managed to make it here. 
Almost there.   
With a tap, that block seemed to be glued onto Jake's pen. 
The crowd held their breath. It's as if they were afraid of their own breaths messing Jake up. 
Being careful of environmental interference, Jake carefully inserted this last piece into the large block. 
Taking in a deep breath, Jake closed his eyes to rest for a bit. 
Just got to wait a moment for this thing to cure now. 
The crowd let out a sigh. Then they looked at the branch master with suspicion.
Wait. Shouldn't success be impossible? Shouldn't this result be quote on quote, 'unheard of'?
"Master Satterfield... Is this a success." Nathaniel asked the branch master. This dude looked a little anxious. 
Just like mostly everyone here, Nathaniel had never seen the crafting process of an advanced talisman either. 
The branch master lightly shook his head. "We will have to wait. If one connection is wrong, the result would be no good."
Nathaniel lightly nodded. He seemed a bit more relieved. 
As expected, the small solid blocks making up the phone-sized block started to 'melt'.
Nathaniel turned to the branch master. 
"Wait for the result." The branch master tiredly shook his head. This poor fragile-looking young man looked rather sleepy. 
"Though." Thinking of something, the branch master added. "The fact that Master Collins managed to get to this stage is already shocking."
"With this talent, I'm sure master Collins will become a master artisan one day." The branch master faintly smiled. He looked a little grateful. 
Grateful that he could witness the rise of a legend? Or maybe grateful that this was chance for him. A chance to suck up to... Erhm. Ehm. A chance to know a rising star personally. 
In a moment, the block looked like a soup of glowing blobs. The intensity of the glow quickly brightened as well. 
In just a few seconds, it became blindingly bright. Staring at the block started to hurt. 
Jake stared right at the block. No problem at all. No trace of any discomfort. 
'... Is this because of my enhanced body?'
The changing color quickly overpowered the white fluorescent lights in this hall. From green, to blue, to purple, to red. 
To the crowd, that block felt like a heater, providing some warmth in this cold underground hall. 
The family members in formal black outfits looked concerned though. A little scared that things were going wrong. Without hesitation, they scuttled away from the station. 
Even some of the explorers followed.
"Master Satterfield. Is this really alright?" Nathaniel looked at the branch master with a concerned gaze.  
"This is normal reaction. The crafting station will naturally turn off if there's a hazard."
Hearing this, Nathaniel's eyes glinted. However, nobody could notice this in this blindingly bright environment. 
Nathaniel lightly shook his head. "This is way too dangerous. I can't allow this."
Without further doubt, Nathaniel stepped to the crafting station. 
Looking through the light, sensing another energy signature closing in, Jake's eyes turned cold. 
'Oh? Planning to flip the table now?' Jake rotated his wrists. 'Sorry. But I've had enough for today.'
However, before Nathaniel could take another step, he felt that someone had grabbed his wrist. 
The branch master squinted his eyes at this mid-aged fella. His breathing became a little short in anger. He was not an idiot. Even to an outsider, he could guess the situation by now. 
Since when could a mere iron-tier guild member ignore his words? He treated people with respect because he chose to act this way. 
But if someone dared to touch the honor of the artisan guild, the branch master did not mind showing his authorities either. 
Interfering the crafting process of a certified artisan? Trying to stop the rise of a future artisan star? Acting against the words of the branch master? 
That's too many last straws. Too many red lines crossed. 
Clearly, Nathaniel had forgotten his place.

This is it. This is where everything went downhill. As I look at my test results, sorrow wraps its stiff hands around my neck and second by second it's harder to breath in. A MAIN CHARACTER. That's my test results from the character development test. I feel nauseous, wanting to throw up but nothing is coming up. I stand there; probably as white as sheet as my dad walks in.

"Got your test results, huh?" He says with a sad smile.

"Dad, what am I supposed to do now?" Dad won't say anything, only wrapping his hands around my shoulder. With that sad smile he leaves ruffling my pink hair at the progress. I stand there looking dumbfounded at the place he was at. Anxiety creeps inside of me and my eyes sting from the finality of the situation.

In this world there are people divided into three categories, side characters, antagonists and main characters. Side characters are the majority of people. They are normal, everyday working people. They work at offices and bakeries etc, in ordinary jobs. Their qualities are about average and their job in society is to support main characters or antagonists. Antagonists usually have hatred for main characters or the society. They usually are above average, successful in about anything they put their mind into. And then there are main characters. They are usually portrayed as heroes and such, but no one really knows what they do. Only in TV there are sometimes mentions of those heroes who "protect our society from those harmful groups of villains". Everyone acts around heroes differently. They are respected and in sometimes feared. They have usually extraordinary features and the highest society rank. I don't want to be a main character. I would have been happy if I were just a side character. I could have had a normal life. And I've had about average numbers from tests so far anyway. Is it the pink hair? I was born with this hair color, maybe that's why everything bad happens to me.

When I was born, my mother left me with my father. I am happy to have such a great father and it hasn't bothered me much that I don't have mother in my life but I hope she's happy where ever she is. Maybe she couldn't handle the lost of her child being a main character or something and that's why she left, no one knows. Since no one really knows what happens to main characters after the test results, that's likely.

A sharp knock on the door startles me and with shaking feet I falter to the front door. I feel my heart  trying to jump out of my throat as I look at the three grey-suited man in front of me. All of them have black sunglasses so it's impossible to tell what they are thinking.

"You must be Owen Hill. Congratulation behalf on your test results on the annual character development test. We have come to collect you." The man on the middle says to me.

I feel vulnerable in front of these three men which are looking at my every move. Panic rushes inside me as I look with horror at the three excepting pair of eyes. I don't want to go. The black car behind them looks heavily threatening.

"And you must be Mr. Hill. You must be very proud of your son." The same man says now to my father who have come to stand behind me.

"Yes, officer. Words can't describe how proud I am of him." He says proudly but I can tell he is a bit solemn.

"After you." The words finality hits me with full force as I take a look at my proud father. I take a step towards the black passenger car. As the door shuts between me and my home, I've never felt so alone in my life.

After  a few hours of sitting in the car's backseat we finally arrive at the destination. Or I think so. When the car finally stops we have stopped in front of a big white building. The building looks like a fancy prison. There are even white bars on the window, making it hard to take the step in. The building does have some fancy decorations, there are some statues of lions and roman pillars as well of some flowery decorations. But the heavy feeling the building radiates kills the atmosphere.

I look at the building with heavy heart as memories of my childhood come to mind. How we visited museums with dad when I was young. How that one nightmare repeated itself time after time and how my dad calmed me down every night. He would calm me down with soft voice and tell me it was nothing, that it was just a nightmare. That there were no monsters in the closet or under the bed. We would check every corner and cabinet and I would go to bed. But these memories are the only thing I'm left with so I feel empty as I look at my supposed to be new home. Do I really have to live here the rest of my life like a prisoner or like a caged bird? Is there really no other choices I can make? I look solemnly at the gate which will keep me in if I don't soon come up with something. The gate is a heavy looking thing made with black iron and as I can't seem to find the handle, it's probably a wireless door, meaning that I can't get out of it even if I wanted. Not on my own at least.

I'm suddenly brought from my thoughts as I feel a cold shiver run through my spine as I feel someone looking at me. Then I see it. In the fourth floor I see some guy looking at me. His eyes are on mine when he smashes his head on the window. My eyes are the size of saucers and my mouth hangs open when the suit guy asks me to get out of the vehicle. I leave the car with heavy heart on my chest, nothing on my hands.

I look from the shadows as the car enters the yard. Tomorrow my plan comes to action as now the missing piece has been placed where I can snatch it. Owen, tomorrow you are mine to play with~!

In a world of main characters everyone expects you to behave in a certain manner, differing from the norm could be fateful.

Main characters have an organisation called the Good Place who recruits heroes, to become Magical Girls. There is just one problem. Owen isn't interested in becoming a Magical Girl or what ever that means. Between good and evil the line between the two becomes blurry and it's harder to be neutral when your life is at risk. Not safe anywhere who can you trust in a world of made-up harmony and peace?
