Entered into the unknown shadows of the world from the mere reading of a book, now he must run and study diligently as he possesses the most sought after secrets of the magus world.

'Gods' are beings that watch and govern worlds. There's a different 'God' in each dimension and world. And when these 'Gods' would do their job, There's nothing more boring to watch those mortals living their limited lifespans. That's why these 'Gods' came up with the idea to pass the time when doing the job.
Different ideas are being made each day. 'Gods' that govern worlds that always fight are more likely to fight themselves. 'Gods' whose world is so artistic would develop a hobby related to art.
Earth, A world that has many 'Gods' watching over it. The mortals in this world have created many interesting things that the 'Gods' used for their hobbies. An example of these are sports, fiction, and arts.
Mortals didn't know that the world they had created using their imagination has plagiarized by the higher beings for their amusement. Anime and Movies have their own world.

A self-proclaimed 'God of Anime' is reading the latest chapter of One Piece. Taking the appearance of a wise old man. 'God' was at the part where Luffy and Kaido are fighting. The 'God' closed the book after reading it. Surrounding the old man was a bunch of volumes of One Piece.
Seeing the books were spread out and messy, The wise old man uses a trick to compress all the scattered books into a single book. A look of satisfaction was on the face of the 'God' and caress the book like it is his precious treasure.
As the self-proclaimed 'God of Anime' of the world, he has a duty to check all the Anime out there and use it to pass his time. But he was beginning to overuse it. He neglected his job of watching his area.
Then disaster struck when his superior noticed him. The book was blamed by the two. It is said to distract the 'God of Anime' because of the chapters in the book. His superior decided to banish the book in his world, But! The God of Anime desperately changes the destination and wished from his heart that the destination would be the world he truly desires. It's the One Piece world.
The superior didn't like it. He calms down and suspended the wise old man for 1 week because he's not doing his job properly. The wise old man accepted it and the worse didn't happen. That he can't read One Piece anymore.
He will gladly wait until he can take the book again from that world. He really hopes that he can take charge of the different worlds of Animes because it's already entertaining to watch the mortals with powers and such.
He wonders where would his precious book falls. What he didn't know, Is that a change had already occurred when someone would discover it.

I am Shikage. A normal human whose shadow was stolen by a pirate. I have black hair and a forgettable face. A little bit tall and likes the color black.
I am also one of the victims of the Shichibukai. A member of the Thriller bark victim's association.
My fellow members are also like me, Hiding from the sun to avoid being erased.
Everyone has a way to pass their time in the dead forest. Some of them would do nothing at all.
But the ones who are active at the association are the Rolling Pirates. It was headed by Lola. I already rejected her because I'm too young for her. I think I'm 17. It is hard to know the date in this forest.
These pirates sometimes use the weakness of the zombies to free the shadow inside. Because of Moria's power, It becomes possible for corpses to move around.
In other words, Zombies are the minions of the Shichibukai. I was afraid of it when I was still ignorant at this place.
Fortunately for me, Spoil ojisan accepted me. Ojisan was the chairman of the Thriller Bark victim's association.
The association learned many things from being hidden in this forest. The weaknesses of Zombies and usages of a shadow.
"I have to find a way to get my shadow back" (Shikage)
I unconsciously said that aloud.
But what can I do...
Following the pirates would be good.
"Hey, Shika! Come with us! We need to steal food from the storage."
"Come on... Let's go"
Two voices interrupted my thoughts. I know them and they're called the Risky brothers. We are quite compatible at work.
That's why they would sometimes invite me to join their pirate crew.
"Okay, Let's infiltrate the mansion. I'll be the decoy this time so you guys better give me the salts. Oh! And also take the newspaper so we'll stay updated." (Shikage)
I went together with them and separated when were close. A pair of zombies were guarding the back door to the storage room.
Then, I distracted the bored zombies by baiting them to catch me. The risky brother's thumbs up at me and enters the room.
Looks like the zombies are still limited in their capabilities. They are slow and quickly tire out. It was easy to kite them and throws some salt to purify the zombies. And captures the shadow.
Normally, I wouldn't do anything of this and just wait for a miracle to happen in the forest. Like the rest of the people in that forest.
But something happened to me in the last few days. I saw a book falling from the sky. I thought that it was one of the officer's books at the mansion. I was curious and went towards it.
When I picked up a strange book at the graveyard. I was enlightened! A part of my mind broke through a constriction. The mob mentality where I would just be part of the background.
I read the book and was surprised that the content inside doesn't seem to end at all. It was a good story about the Straw hat pirates.
Then, I couldn't help but noticed that the world of the story is the same as my world. There's also Shichibukai in it. And then I reached the part of the same forest and circumstances that the Straw hat pirates and I experienced.
For your shadow to get stolen by Moria.
This is most likely true and the future that would happen. Why? Because I have read the news and saw the article about the island called Alabasta.
Confirming it was easy and I finally believe it when I asked Lola for her mother. Imagine my surprise when she answered it by telling me that her mother is a Yonkou of the New World.
"This is bad! Shika. Run!" (Risky brother A)
"It's all your fault... Haah... Why did you have to be so greedy!" (Risky brother B)
Again, They disrupted my flashback.
Hmm... T-this isn't real right?
A horde of Zombies was following the two.
"Shit! You guys are so troublesome!" (Shikage)
We run and run and run until the zombies gave up.
The two of them plops down to the ground and took a breather.
Well, I am currently training to increase my stamina and control.
Due to reading it, I made sure to prepare for the time that the Straw hats would wreak havoc here.
I helped the two at carrying the stolen goods and distributed them to the association.
Spoil ojisan gave me a larger portion because we risked our lives to get this.
Of course, I accepted it and traded my food for a good shadow.
Yep! A shadow. I still haven't mastered the method yet.
But you can experience the skills of the shadow you absorbed. I used this logic to remember the skills and learned it with my muscle memory or instinct.
I noticed that Lola is approaching me.
"Ara, Shika! Please marry me!" (Lola)
"... No."
I am most definitely making a face of 'What is this woman saying?'
"Anyway, Let's see how many shadows you can handle now." (Lola)
"Geh. Again? Fine, How many were the last time again?" (Shikage)
"20... You really are our Ace in this association." (Lola)
Looks like my status becomes important. I am more advanced than the others at absorbing shadows.
My maximum limit was 30. Above that, I would lose consciousness and simply waste the shadows.
That is why I am taking the step-by-step approach to improving my retention of combat abilities that the shadows have.
Currently, I'm now at a level of the General zombies. Every time I hunted one of the shadows of the general zombies. It was very productive because the shadows on those zombies are also powerful.
I asked Lola if there's anything more.
"Oh! Right, Shika. Here's the news coo that you wanted." (Risky brother A)
Suddenly joining the conversation was the slim one of the risky brothers.
I received the news and saw the article talking about other pirates. I was waiting for a piece of news from the Straw hats.
After thanking them. I went to my base and relaxes. Moving to a guarded chest and took out my precious treasure.
"Oh... Divine book, let me read what happens next at the Marineford!"
I quickly sit in place and thanked the heavens for giving me this book of prophecy.
Then I was scrolling through the pages, I saw Moria still alive even he was beaten by the Straw hats. I have a grudge against this guy.
Moria shouldn't be allowed to exist.
I decided to come up with a plan after reading the Marineford arc.

Weeks passed by when I finally saw an article about the Enies Lobby.
I knew that it was just a matter of time until the Straw hats arrived.
Many things had happened when I was waiting for them.
Ryuma, the general zombie that has the shadow of Brook. I crossed swords with him and manage to flee. It was a desperate battle for me because I was hunting for his kind and he ambushed me when I let my guard down.
I didn't think that I would grow to be strong like this by absorbing the shadows and also by absorbing their combat abilities.
Reaching the 50 shadows as my limit, I can feel that my 'will' is getting stronger the more I knew about the truth of this world.
Just like Brook, Zombies had given me an epithet of Shadow hunter because I kept on hunting for shadows to absorb.
The Gecko pirates would surely move to capture me...
But the Strawhats would arrive soon and will beat them.
I'll be moving behind the scenes and finishes what the pirates started.
◇5 days later◇
The Thriller Bark was in chaos!
Spoil ojisan met the ones who had caused this. We were observing the situation from the start.
The special zombie, Oars continues to run loose.
The Strawhats were beating the top officers of the Thriller Bark. Even Oars wasn't an exception.
We saw the giant zombie flipped around a few times already.
Right, The Straw hats shouldn't be underestimated.
But there's a time limit. Due to Oar's mess, The Thriller Bark left the Florian Triangle and the fog surrounding the sea. The ship could be exposed to the sun now.
This is a problem for the pirates and for us, The Victim's association.
"We're doomed! Sunrise is just around the corner!"
"It's too soon to give up! The Star of Hope's crew is fighting even as we speak."
I heard the Risky brother's conversation.
Looks like they named the Straw hat as the Star of hope.
They were planning to ambush him which they succeeded.
A familiar face is in front of me.
Straw hat Luffy was complaining because he wanted to go back quickly. We surrounded him and the Rolling pirates were talking with him. They were so happy about the things that the Straw hats did in the Thriller bark.
"We use the Victim Network to stay up-to-date on the situation." (Slim Risky Brother)
"We've gone three whole years without our Shadows! If you defeat Moria, everyone will get their  shadows back!" (Fat Risky Brother)
They explained that Luffy needed to defeat the special zombie to beat Moria. The Rolling pirates skipped the explanations and inserted a shadow to Luffy. It is to power up Luffy.
"J-just how strong... is this man's willpower?"
Lola couldn't believe that Luffy could handle that many shadows. The highest amount of shadows absorbed was my record.
But Luffy doubled it and absorbs a total of 100 shadows.
"Haa... Haa... Power is surging through me." (Luffy)
"Right? You can't help but want a fight?" (Shikage)
"Yeah... I'm itching for a fight!" (Luffy)
A totally different Luffy was in front of me. He was larger and buffed. Although I saw this form in my Divine book, It is still shocking to see how Luffy changed.
"This is good! Go on! There isn't much time! Go give Moria a nightmare, Our Star of Hope, Nightmare Luffy!" (Lola)
"Straw hat, Follow me to the mansion. I am Shikage, I can keep up with your speed." (Shikage)
I, too, wanted to help get back our shadows. Assisting Luffy was the best option to do to be free.
Shortly after, We reached the mansion. The situation for the pirates is dire because there was only a long-nose guy and an orange-haired woman left standing.
Nightmare Luffy saved them while I was struggling at keeping up with him. I wasn't fast enough.
But I still reached him and saw the other Straw hat pirates.
"Everyone was defeated by that monster!"
"I see, I'll leave them in your care Shika." (Nightmare Luffy)
"Right! Beat him up Luffy!" (Shikage)
I can hear Usopp's questions to Luffy while Nami was observing us two. Eh? What did I do?
Well, I became friends with Luffy on the way here. A serious Luffy was so different than I expected. I am also happy that Luffy acknowledges me as a friend to count on.
Then, we saw the beatdown of the special zombie and Moria. Usopp and Nami couldn't believe that Oars was sent flying by Nightmare Luffy.
While Moria was distracted by Luffy, The Victim's association came to help the crew of our Star of hope.
"What they doing?" (Usopp)
"Is it the zombies?" (Nami)
"No. That's Lola and the others. Let's go down and join them." (Shikage)
I reassured the two.
Nami is suspicious of me, I understand. We only just met.
The two questioned me when we're going down. Of course, I answered them. The problem is that the questions were all about the changes their captain had.
I told them that the Rolling pirates would do it. We reached the bottom and regrouped with the others.
We all watched as Nightmare Luffy defeated the special zombie and Moria. And at the same time, Luffy's form ended. The Mobs like me were already cheering.
But I knew it wasn't finished yet. Special zombie Oars was back at his feet. Despair was felt once again by the Victim's association.
Just as the story in my Divine book, The Straw hats are back and launched their counterattack. This time, Oars was truly beaten and immobilize.
Finally, The boss of the Thriller Bark appears. All of us watched as Moria absorbs all the shadows in Thriller Bark. I knew that we already won because the Shichibukai can't control that.
I hope that my shadow was also there. But Moria was still strong in this state, and the sun is already rising. Only Lola and I stayed while the others were going back to the forest and shades.
A part of my shoulders and Lola's face were burning. The Risky brothers were asking their captain to go back with them.
"No! Captain Lola... Do you want to die?"
"I'm either going to live or die! I don't care which way the coin flips. I will never go back to hiding in the shadows!" (Lola)
"Captain!"
Lola shouts. Even I thought that she was cool.
Hm... What should I do now?
I want to help but this fight is for the Straw hats to finish.
Then, the finale started!
Moria couldn't keep all the shadows in his body and every time Luffy strikes, Shadows would come out.
Luckily, My shadow is also a mob character. In just a few strikes of Luffy, I got my shadow back and the burning part in my shoulders faded away. I don't have to worry about the sun anymore.
Then, the mast mansion falls down to Moria and traps him. He couldn't hold on any longer and all the shadows came out of him and flew back to their owners.
I excused myself from this place and went to the Thriller Bark mansion. I was spying the awaken Hogback and Absalom. This is the time to execute my plan!
Time to become the Ruler of Shadows!

A creature that lives in the shadows of others. They have no corporeal body but are innate masters in shadow magic. They can shape-shift their shadow-like projection into various objects and creatures. They are somehow capable of telepathic communication. Not much is known about their origin, society, magic potential, or other abilities.

They cause mischief and chaos when they are sighted. Some witness accounts reported ghost- or spirit-like creatures haunting them but the time and place of activity in these accounts may imply that it was instead a Saiya Araysh's activity instead. They are more active in places with more shadows regardless of time.

Although their existence is faint and very likely to be misconstrued as a different non-corporeal mystical creature, the author strongly believes that there is some truth to it.

Damien took a deep breath after he read through the entry on the book for the third time. This was it. After spending a decade or so of searching for the origin of his harassing shadows, he found some sort of clue. He didn't expect to find something like this while checking out a random shop. Indeed, this shop has some wondrous items on sale.

"Marks of our clan is faintly there. You were not lesser than our expectations," One voice in his mind suddenly spoke to Damien. It was a shadow named Risen.

"Risen, what did you mean?" Damien raised an eyebrow and closed the book in his hands.

Risen gave a sound of amusement as the other shadows quieten, "Marks of our clan is here. We cannot let that go."

"If you didn't find it, it would have to be found with our help. Again," the chorus of all the shadows made Damien nurse another headache.

"Are you saying," Damien took a deep breath, "The reason you brought me here is to get you this book?"

There was no response, but the silence could be taken as their tacit agreement.

Damien felt like another headache is coming. It wasn't like he didn't want this book to begin with, so he let it go. Reluctant as he is to spend needless money on the shadows, they were of the same opinion as to his own for once. He looked at all the books in the section of the shop where he stood. There wasn't any other book that seemed to come close to the one he had in his hand. On the other hand, the trinkets that were spread on one of the racks to the side caught his attention.

The aesthetic for this corner seemed to be an ancient library so there were also accessories and tokens related to writing, books, or writing utensils. Damien saw a palm-sized seal stamp. It was cylindrical and had some patterns carved on it. He wasn't certain what it would look like after it was stamped with ink. Nonetheless, it wasn't the pattern that interested him. It was the gemstone on the top of the stamp that attracted his attention instead. He picked it up and looked at the gemstone curiously.

"You've found something interesting from my collection, boy."

The voice of an old woman startled Damien. He didn't know when, but an aged woman who still appeared elegant despite her wrinkles had approached him from behind. She wore a set of robes that accentuated her figure and made her seem like the royalty from an ancient kingdom. She looked distinctly Asian with her amiable close-eyed smile. Although she was shorter than Damien, she seemed taller than she really was. It was especially so since she stood straight with no hint of an elderly's hunch.

"This is a stone seal stamp found in the Middle-East. An archaeologist died in some excavated ruins and some of the items she kept were sold to me by her son. This stamp was sold together with the book in your hands," she gave a mysterious smile as she stroked the top of a sand-stone box behind her, "And this box. Are you interested in them?"

Damien calmed down during the woman's explanation but frowned when he saw the box she was touching, "Are you trying to get me to buy more things from you?"

The woman laughed briefly before shaking her head, "Whether you believe me or not is your choice. I merely sell some things from my collection that can tell an interesting tale."

Damien didn't believe the woman, and it wasn't simply because he was skeptical.

The woman only shrugged and walked back behind the counter, not answering the questioning look from Damien.

Damien looked at the closed book in his hand, the stamp in his other hand, and the box across from him. Although he didn't believe the random things that he chose were connected, the shadows had told him earlier that there was something from the book that they want. They also implied that he should be able to sense whatever it was that drew them to it. He would admit that the stamp and the book might be related. On the other hand, the box she showed him can't possibly be related. It was made of light yellow sandstone with Egyptian carvings; the stamp didn't look one bit Egyptian.

According to what she said, Damien could guess that she's the owner of the shop. Since he had met the owner, he might as well just ask. He was going to buy the book anyway. It wouldn't be too awkward to ask about the owner's recommendation.

Damien walked to the counter and placed the book and stone seal stamp on it, "Are you sure that the box came from the same source as these two?"

"Of course," the woman sipped her a cup of tea, "That archaeologist was an acquaintance. Her son needed the money for her funeral, so I helped them out."

"Then, what do you know about this book?" Damien tried to find out if the contents of the book were real.

"It's a written account of various myths and legends that the archaeologist compiled during her work. As for its authenticity… I believe you understand why I cannot say anything about it."

"Then what about the box? How is that related to this stamp?"

"You are one curious boy," the woman smiled but answered nonetheless, "They were from the same excavation site, but the stamp is older than the box by at least a millennium. I've cleaned them both, but the box had never been opened since it was found. No one has figured out how to unlock it."

"The mark of our clan can open it. The box must be taken. It is tampered but it is useful."

The reply from Risen came suddenly. It almost made Damien react in front of the owner. Fortunately, he was used to abrupt voices in his head and reacted properly.

"Is that so?" This reply was for the store owner.

"Is that really so?" This uncertain reply was for Risen.

Risen didn't reply but simply nudged Damien's wrist.

With a reluctant heart, Damien walked over to the box to get it. Since it was recommended as a set, he might cut some of the prices down. Peculiarly, there wasn't any cashier register. The owner simply smiled and picked up a thick logbook. She was quick in finding the items from the list and adding the total to a calculator beside her.

"I'll round it up to $50 for you," the owner's voice was serene, in contrast to Damien's shaking hands.

Before Damien voiced his complaints, the owner added with a wide smile, "Since you bought all three, I'll give you a 20% discount. So, it'll be $40."

Damien stared at the three items on the counter, reluctant to buy second-hand goods priced so high. He wasn't wealthy at all and could even be considered as someone struggling to eat three meals a day. He will admit that the price was indeed fair since the book was at least a few hundred pages thick while the stone seal stamp and box couldn't be that cheap either. As he was looking between his wallet and the three items, he saw a pair of shadows twirling around something near the counter from the corner of his eyes. He raised an eyebrow and looked at the item between the shadows.

"What caught your interest, Moon? Sun?" Damien asked in his mind, trying to determine which item between the few items there that they were interested in.

"Interesting number cube, feed it to us!" The one who replied was Sun Twin, while Moon Twin let out a sound of agreement.

Damien blanked out for a bit. The shadows' language felt absurd, especially since it was directly translated in his mind to English. He can only guess that the twins were excited about a pair of dice. He bent down to pick the pair of dices up while flinching slightly when the twins hung on his arm. He added the pair of dices to the three items on the counter.

"How about this pair of dices? Can you give it to me as an extra?"

The owner's look didn't change much but she looked mildly disturbed. She stared slightly at the man in front of her before resolutely stating her warning.

"Those dices were rumored to be cursed. Playing with them will affect your fortune. Nobody has bought it because they subconsciously avoid it. Will you still take it with you after hearing this?" the owner's voice was solemn but sincere.

Damien considered it for a while but still nodded in the end.

The owner merely sighed and placed the items Damien had bought into a paper bag. She went as far as to put on gloves before picking up the dices and placing it in a separate box. The box was then placed in the paper bag with the rest.

Damien paid while internally reminding himself that he needs to cook at home for the next week, at least.

Although orphaned since birth with an unknown origin, he had lived a very plain life. His custodian was his father’s best friend from work, a single middle-aged man named Harrison. He had other foster children who were orphaned at the same time as Damien, so he usually had his hands full.

Damien was used to being alone. But he wasn’t truly alone. He never was. It was simply that the company he had was the hostile kind. To some extent, it might have been better if he had been truly alone all his life than be in their company all the time.

Unfortunately, the worst has yet to come.

The tales began from an orphan, involved an army, brings together enemies, throws twists to truths and features a tragedy from beginning to end. Will there be happiness left in the shadows?

I stand up as I slide the diary into my pouch "Thank you Ginny. I'll be sure to throw a few good words about you to Harry." 
She doesn't look to be in the mood to deal with my jokes so I step out the door waving as I leave. I sigh as I immediately head office to office handing in my homework to each teacher. 
Each of them has something nice to say except Snape of course. Flitwick was the most concerned with McGonagall coming in a close second. According to him, the dueling tournament has been 'postponed until further notice'. But he said they will likely call it off to keep away from the drama.
After that, I went back to the common room where everyone has already retreated after lunch. For the rest of the day, I just hand out with my friends and pretend nothing is different. It is nice being back
Once the night falls and everyone is asleep I make sure no one is awake and cover myself in my shroud. I quietly shift into my dementor form and make my way out to the most private area on the grounds. The forbidden forest. 
I shift back to my human form as I reach a few hundred feet in and the terrain becomes indistinguishable from the rest. The book I read said Horcrux are no harder to destroy than the object they are made of.
The caveat of that is dark wizards will stack charm upon charm, hex upon hex, to protect them at all costs. I sigh as I pull the diary from my pouch and hold it in front of myself scanning it over with my eyes. 
If I didn't know this was a Horcrux I would have never guessed it. I close my eyes and peer into the soul stored in the diary. It is slightly larger than a normal soul which means much like Dumbledore, Voldemort must have an incredibly powerful soul.
I open my eyes again and open the book flipping through the pages I stop towards the middle as I see writing appear. "Who are you?" The letters write out in immaculate handwriting.
I smirk a bit at his game "Can you hear me." 
'Yes' The book replies.
"I am someone who has already killed you once now and plan to do it until you stay dead." 
'Why?'
"Because I can. Lord Voldemort." I say with a small grin. 
'What do you want?' The words spell out as expected. 
I toss the book on the ground as I point my wand at it "Configo." 
A  large blast of flames hits the book but I can see it is unscathed once the dust clears. "Sectumsempra" I swing my wand like a sword putting a lot of magic behind my swing. The book is flung away and the ground is left with a gash a few inches deep.
I sigh as I aim at it again drawing even more magic "Configo Trio" 
*BOOM* 
The tree the diary is resting against is blown apart and the book flies into the air. My eyes narrow as I catch it and examine it again. It has a tiny semblance of a singe on the sides. It would take hundreds of spells to even burn a page.
 
"Fine, let's try this," I say to myself as I shift into my dementor form. I hold the book only a foot in front of my face as I try to eat it. I can feel the soul is being sucked to me but has no path out of the book.
I stop and open it wide and try again but nothing happens. Once I feel there is no point in trying to eat it anymore I grip both sides tightly. Gathering the shadows around my arms I begin to pull both sides with all the strength my skeletal arms and shadows can muster. 
The air around the books seems to be gathering magic protecting it. Seeing that the hexes are stronger than my physical strength I give up on that and shift back to my human form. 
"You know I will destroy you eventually right? Why don't you tell me how?" I say smiling at the book.
'I can give you the chamber.' The book writes out quickly.
My brows raise a bit interested "And what would I want with an old decrepit chamber?"
'It has the inheritance of Salazar Slytherin.'
"And where is it?" I ask actually a bit curious but I already have a good idea where. 
'Below the school. Only I may access it.'
I shrug "Sure, let's go on a small adventure." 
'Perhaps the chamber will have something to destroy the Horcrux.' I think to myself as I transform again covering myself in shadows. I make my way back to the school and head to the dungeons since it is the lowest part of the school.
I transform back to human but keep my shadows around myself so I won't be seen. "Where from here?"
'The girl's bathroom on the second floor.''
In the darkness of my shadows, I stare at the book oddly. With a bit of hesitation, I make my way up the stairs to the second-floor bathroom. Once I'm standing at it I open the book again.
"This is above the Great Hall, how could this lead to the chamber?" I ask taking a few tentative steps inside.
I stare at the ghost of Moaning Myrtle as I hear the book speak for a second time. "Open." The young man's voice comes out of the book in a calm manner. The snake symbol above the tap begins to slither around the large circular sink as if it weren't made of metal.
A small pillar behind each sink slowly raises once the snake passes them. Once the snake finishes a full lap around the sink it begins rising on the pillars revealing a gaping hole below the slab of granite. 
Moaning Myrtle on the side begins to cry as she hides in one of the stalls "It's happening again." I hear her whimper. 
My eyes narrow as I look down the dark hole. Without hesitation, I jump down slowly falling over a hundred feet. I use my shadows to catch me when I reach the bottom. The walls are dark and the floor is uneven so I pull out my wand. I drop my invisibility as I hold my wand up.
"Lumos." Light radiates from my wand revealing that we are inside a cave lined with torches. I snap my fingers using a simple fire starter spell to ignite the torches. Once the way is lit I put away my wand and make my way forward. 
One way leads to a wall while the other leads to a large round door. The door has nine snakes in the center barring it from opening and one on the outer ring of the door with its head about to intercept the first of the nine. I use my shadows on my hand and try to phase through but hit a barrier. I pull my hand away as I hear the book speak again. 
"Open" The same voice comes from the book as before.
Similar to the sink the snake along the outer ring slithers around the outside pushing the inner nine snakes out of the way. Each time a snake is pushed out of the way the door makes a loud mechanical sound. Honestly, I'm surprised this was made a thousand years ago. 
The door finally makes a small click and the large slab of stone swings open towards me. Behind the door is a massive chamber with waterfalls of sewage water and a stone pathway leading to a larger area. The center of the larger was filled by a massive stone head made to look like Salazar Slytherin.

Dementors are personified depression, soul-devouring creatures with little intelligence. What would you do if you woke up in the body of one?

I was up in the attic, cleaning, when a book came flying at my head. I ducked and if flew to the pedestal in the center of the room. I stood and walked over to the pedestal and the book and touched the strange symbol on the cover. All of a sudden the book opened. I read the title displayed before me. "The Book of Shadows." it read. "Sounds ominous." I said as I began to flip through the pages. Just then Leo, my great grandma's Whitelighter, appeared. "Leo! Why are you here?" I asked, narrowing my red eyes.
Leo spots the Book of Shadows and asks, "What are you doing with that book Aether?" I close it and roll my eyes.
"It came flying at my head while I was cleaning the attic! You also completely avoided my question Leo. Why in the name of Hell are you here?" I snapped, losing my temper only slightly.
Leo shrugs and says, "I was summoned here by the Book of Shadows. I wouldn't of thought that it was you who found it. You are part demon after all."

I sigh and say, "Yeah well my father was a Witch just like Piper was! It doesn't matter that my mother was a damn demon, the Book acknowledges my Witch heritage not my demon heritage. Besides, my mother killed my father and I would rather be a witch than a demon."

Aether Halliwell is a two generation descendant of Phoebe Halliwell and daughter of a demon and a witch, the demon being her mother Chara and the witch being her father who she never got to meet. She currently lives alone in the Halliwell house fighting demons, warlocks, and other evil supernaturals. She's the last Charmed One alive and will do anything to remain that way.

He started walking as he dragged me as he grabbed my hood.



"Let me pick a book for you and we will eat outside alright?"



"Fuck you!"



"Shhhh, I'm your brother today"



"Shut up!"



"Sister, what book do you like? Story book or Disney book"



"Don't call me sister. It sounds DIS-GUS-TING"



I emphasized the word disgusting and tried to take back the hood but because he was stupid he lifted it so I slightly got up.



"There's so many book here"



"Probably because this is a books store"



I was philosophizing while losing strength and just letting him pull.



He grabbed a few books from each pass and when he felt the weight of his grip he pulled me closer to the counter.



Fuck, I really can't explain my face right now.




"4,566 all sir"



The cashier blushed. Zukich is really handsome. Almost every woman we pass looks at her. He really grabbed my attention so I was amazed at what he thought of tripping.



"What?"



I raised an eyebrow at the question as he held out his hand in front of me.



"Money"



I just shook my head and pretended to have something to pull out of my pocket but I stopped when I realized I didn't have any money. He frowned at me while waiting for some money to be put in his hand but I looked away.



"Hey kid"



"I don't have money. How could you let the kid to pay these books ?!"



I immediately opened up to him when I faced him again. I took my hood back from his hand and stared at him sharply. He stared for a moment as if incredulous and amazed at what I said.



"Mmmm I will pay for the book and you will pay me by eat dinner with me"



I just sighed more than I answered because I was the only one who would get annoyed in the end.



After he paid for the book, I would have changed the direction to escape him but even though I could not step away, his arm quickly rested on my shoulder.



"Where are you going baby girl?"



"Yak"



If someone else he would call a baby girl would faint with excitement but for me, literally yak. The sagwa listen.



I just scratched my forehead and simply removed his hand from my shoulder.



"Give me that"



I snatched the plastic from which the book was placed.



"Wow, your money?"



"You are free"



The second time I tried to run away but he quickly grabbed my hood and pulled me somewhere.



"Where the hell are you going? You always make the wrong direction. Those who see you may think you are a lost child"



"What the heck!"



Is this really the case in this world? In our world, the age of 12 years old can keep up with the age like him but 12 years old in this world is too young for them?



I did nothing when he pulled me into a restaurant with 'Jollibe' written on it.



We sat at the very end. A waiter approached and handed him the menu.



"What would you like for dinner"



"Anything"



"Alright"



He just pointed the orders to the waiter until the waiter left.



"Hey kid"



I turned to him with a raised eyebrow and a questioning look.



"What nickname should I call you?"



"Dude call me by my name"



"Then tell me your name"



Right, he didn't even know my name.



"Erow– fuck!"



I suddenly stood up when horned shadows suddenly appeared behind Zukick.

"He–"



I quickly pulled Zukich to my side even before the horned shadows approached. I was startled when I suddenly jumped to where our table was.



I rolled my eyes and almost widened my eyes as I saw more and more shadows approaching our direction. I'm sure I'm the only one who can see them because the faces of the people are full of astonishment as long as the tables and chairs that the shadows pass by just fly.



People were shocked to think that it was an earthquake.



"Eh ~"



Said a shadow in the middle as he raised one hand and pointed at me.



"What the hell is happening kid ?!"



I have not answered yet. I pulled him.



"Kid"



"Fuck! Shut up!"



Because the shadows were blocking the way, I effortlessly stepped on the mirror wall which was easily damaged. We ran again, just pushing the people blocking the way.



We huddled on the escalator. The engine we were riding in was too slow So I could do nothing but pull Zukich back and push the people blocking the way.



"Fuck! It looks like my hand will break when you pull"



I did not listen to him. We kept running. And now it is not just the Shadow demons chasing me but the guards.



I was about to touch the handle of the glass door when suddenly you shattered and a King shadow appeared in front of me with glaring eyes.



"Come with us Eye princess"



My eyes widened backwards. I don't know what they need from me. Power or my life? But I'm sure they can't be trusted. Shadow demons I once encountered because they are my father's followers but why do they seem to be my opponent if they follow.



"Ru–"



I was about to mention Ruro's name when I was suddenly pulled by Zukich and we just passed the shadows in front of us. But before we could get away, the tentacles of the shadows wrapped around my hand so Zukich also stopped and looked at me in astonishment.



"I-i can't move!"



No matter what I recover from my hand, the shadows seem to tighten even more and their tentacles seem to absorb me. I feel pain in every skin that they touch and it feels so hot that it feels like a blazing fire is in front of me. I looked at Zukich. I thought I was asking for help but I was depressed when he suddenly let go of my hand and quickly ran away.



Z-zukich, how could you do this to me ?!



I wanted to scold him with annoyance but before I could do that I saw him pushed by a man on a motorbike and rode it and then ran in my direction.



Does he intend to run over me?



I just closed my eyes when he passed by my side and only woke up when I felt as if something had been removed from my hand. Demon shadow released me.

 According to Erowah, that book was the answer to all the questions that were on her mind. The real battle began and with Zurich's help she did not hesitate to take the risk that would lead to her death.
